1. Introduction

This is a FAQ for Space Channel 5 part 2 Special Edition for the Sony
Playstation 2.  Basically, this guide will help you on how to unlock the new
costumes and items available in the game. Please bear with me, as this is my
first FAQ.  If I have misspelled or misinformed, please let me know.

This may be not be reproduced under any circumstances except for personal,
private use. It may not be placed on any web site or otherwise distributed
publicly without advance written permission. Use of this guide on any other web
site or as a part of any public display is strictly prohibited, and a violation
of copyright.


2. Costumes

There are over 40 costumes and 12 items to unlock.  Please keep in mind, that
the costumes only change appearance.  You will still have the same story,
voice, etc.

The costumes will be listed in order.  First with the it's number, then by
name, how to unlock, then description, and if any, note(s).  The game
descriptions come right are from the game.

Available from the start.
Newly-supplied company reporting fatigues.  Ultra elastic material for easy
movement.

Clear Report 2
Aromatic multi-functional suit.  Regulates body temperature & humidity for
extra pleasant reporting at all times.
(pink dress with red boots.)

Gogo Gear (w/o helmet)

Designed to protect the human body from space dust when traveling at high speeds
(orange space suit)

Must-have for any space-roaming citizen.  The helmet can usually be stored on
the back.

Designed for infiltration.  A special wire that attaches to the back & allows
the wearer to move like a spider

Slip into it when you want to be wimpy.

Save the Chef (green) during game play
Used in the kitchen investigation.

Save the Space Primary School Band Quarlet during the game play
Used for the investigation of underground cramming school.

Save the Rescue Squad during game play
For when you want that manly feeling.

Used for the undercover infiltration into the Geriatric Bandits hideout.

Used to infiltrate Channel 88 studios to report on the sandal that occurred
there.

Clear all 100 trails in Ulala's dance mode wearing the Morolian Suit.

Clear Report 1 in 2-players mode
A sample received from the shop owner.  Ulala made some improvements to it
herself.

Clear Report 2 in 2-players mode
Used to infiltrate the evil Crimson Cosmos ginger processing plant.

Not really a suit - - just a tan!
(same as 1/40 but she has a tan)


* In order to get the second worlds, you must first beat the game.  I don't
know if you have to get hundreds on all stages to proceed.

** To achieve 100%, you must find all the secrets first.  After you have beaten
a level, go to character profiles.  Characters from that level will tell you
certain actions to do on a precise moment.  This is the way to 100%.


3. Items

The items unlocked are used as microphones.  Items are received by looking at
the character profiles.  Some items such as the lantern or lollipop must
require that you rescue all the characters from that stage.

Newly produced company mike.  Ulala painted it blue without even asking.

King of Fry Pan
Present from the Chef (green)
Proves his victory in the 255 Annual Space Cook-off.  Has a high heat
conductivity ratio.

Designed by Noize.
Was first designed for the undercover investigation of the shopping mall (comes
with a hidden camera.)

Legendary Eggbeater
Present from the Chef (aqua)
Made from an ?? metal extracted from some ancient ruins.  Great for whipping
homemade cream!

Lollipop
Present from the Band Students.
A bit sticky. (Pre-licked.)

Lantern
Given by a Neo-Japanese Astronaut
A souvenir from the Edo Village in Sunlight City.  An effective light made from
natural rice paper.

Super Ladle
Present from the Chef (yellow)
Cooking ware with a hardness of over 8 billion die.  Only two others exist in
the entire galaxy.

Present from the Rescue Squad
Perfect for Milky Way Ginger Ales.  Includes a semi-natural cooling device.

Present from Chairman Nervous
Chairman Nervous's Mum's favourite fan.  It creates a pleasant scent when you
wave it.

Present from Jaguar
Laced with Jaguar's passion will never die.

Designed by Noize
Mike used in the undercover report on the mega farm.  It was used to lower the
guard of opponents.

All natural.  Absolute ambrosia when cooked properly.


4. Credits
