Introduction This is Sony's first 1st party online shooter. It takes you through 12 single player missions throughout the world as a member of the elite Naval team, "the SEALS". HE (concussion grenade) The damage from a HE grenade is caused by the concussive force of the explosion, which allows destruction of objects as well as enemy personnel. AN-M8 (smoke grenade) Creates a large cloud of white smoke when activated, which can be used for signaling other units and screening movement. MARK141 (flashbang grenade) A non-lethal grenade designed to incapacitate its target through blinding light and loud noise. Also known as a stun grenade. Satchel Charge A charge composed of blocks of explosive wired together in order to produce a single, powerful explosion. Claymore (Kahuna only) A lethal anti-personnel weapon, the claymore fires a cloud of small, shot like pellets through the air when detonated by the player. C4 (Kahuna only) Plastic demolition explosive, made of volatile chemicals and plasticizer, that can be molded into varying shapes. Mountain Assault 10. Mr. Pickle 11. Mouth of the Beast 12. The Deathblow Level 1. Death at Sea Briefing: You must take a terrorist ship and destroy it. Objectives: 1. Secure the barge 2. Dispatch guard 3. Sever Comms 4. Recon Sentries 5. Reach Freighter 6. Eavesdrop for intel 7. Collect intel 8. Scuttle the freighter 9. Plant charges 1. Go into stand position, turn on your NVG (night vision goggles), quickly kill the two guards (don't waste time moving bodies). 2. Move over to the 2nd group of boxes on the east side of the barge, wait till the guard goes to vomit then sneak kill, him, move around the south side of the barge and kill the 2nd guard. 3. Move back to that 2nd group of boxes where you waited for the guards, use your NVG to find where the sentries are (watch the video if you need help) 4. Now go prone position up the ramp to the freighter then immediately move south to eavesdrop. 5. Since you don't need to be stealthy the rest of the mission kill the guards you eavesdropped on (regroup your team first), then wait for more guards kill them as well. 6. Move south on the freighter and up the stairs, turn west when you see stairs that lead into the ship, watch the video and kill the guards separately. 7. Move into the bridge and shoot the radio, or disable it if you wish. 8. Now move back north on the ship, go down the stairs and make a 180 turn, go down another flight of stairs, kill the guard and go down more stairs. 9. Once at the bottom level of the ship (your at a T junction now, move south and kill the guard. Let your team help you. 10. Move north along the corridor and go into the room on the east side of the ship, collect the intel. 11. Move your team into the large cargo area of the freighter and kill all the guards in the ship. 12. Order bravo to deploy a satchel on the red colored panels, move yourself and do the same to the other set of panels but use the team member you didn't use before (use bravo if you used able, vice-versa) CONGRATS SOLDIER! Tip: don't shoot the lights out, although it may seem smart, it alerts the other terrorists. Level 2. Ghost Town Briefing: You must gather intel from the terrorists and detain a defecting terrorist. Objectives 1. Obtain intel 2. Bravo to Charlie 3. Neutralize sentry 4. Insert into mission 5. Secure compound 6. Secure lodge 7. Secure mining house 8. Secure pincushion (codename for terrorist) 9. Secure cabin 10. Destroy weapons 11. Extract captive 1. Use your headset and move tell bravo team "BRAVO, RUN TO, CHARLIE", move to the west and wait for the guard to show up, snipe him once he stops moving at the wrecked cabin. 2. Move over to nav point Charlie (represented by [C] on the map), move slightly more north and kill the guard on the ledge about 50 yards in front of you, now go to delta and wait for the guard, kill him too. 3. Insert into the mission by heading over to nav point echo, watch the cinema, lay on the ledge and kill the guard that is to the north west' 4. Use your tacmap and follow the arrows to point foxtrot, kill the snipers on the hill as you make your way to foxtrot. Send bravo to cover the dredge (BRAVO, RUN TO, ZULU), then look on your tacmap and find the generator, turn it off before heading into the base where the intel is housed, this disable the terrorists alarm system. 5. Move up into the top floor of building at point [F] and kill the terrorists, take the laptop while you are up there. Go to the ground floor south wall and regroup your team, follow the tacmap arrows for secure compound and kill all the enemies in every single building 6. Move toward the compound kill the terrorists taking a dump then move into the compound, careful not to shoot pincushion (he's wearing a red vest and blue camo pants). Restrain pincushion and take him to the extraction point (Romeo [R]). 7. Go around to each of the weapon caches (they look like big stacked boxes) and plant C4, make sure your team is safe before you do this. This finishes the mission Fun things to do while you're here: Find an outhouse, place C4 inside it then close the door, after the walls are gone, throw a grenade in the toilet, poop flies everywhere! Level 3. Oil Platform Takedown Briefing: You must recapture an oilrig from a group of terrorists and rescue hostages. Objectives: 1. Defuse the Bombs 2. Clean Insertion 3. Neutralize Sentries 4. Identify Snipers 5. Defuse Bomb 1 6. Defuse Bomb 2 7. Defuse Bomb 3 8. Rescue the Hostages 9. Locate Oil Workers 10. Restrain Workers 11. Secure Oil Platform 12. Secure Helipad 13. Secure Building A 14. Secure Building B 15. Secure Building C 16. Secure Building D 17. Secure Building E 1. Go forward and kill the two guards on the right, then follow your tacmap arrows to defuse the bombs (you can defuse 2 bombs at one time by telling bravo team to defuse a bomb, and the you going and defusing the other bomb yourself, you can also tell able to defuse the third bomb (he has no cover though). 2. You can recon the snipers on the ledge you climb up and then by looking at them through your scope, there is one on top of one of the water towers and the other is on a catwalk from building A to a water tower building, kill them 3. Go up the ramp into building B, tell able "ABLE FRAG AND CLEAR" on the rooms with terrorists, this will tell able to throw a grenade in the room. Do this often during this level 4. The hostages are in a small room inside of the building next to the third bomb, the door says "authorized personnel only" this is where the hostages are being held. 5. The next group of workers is in the same building as where the Iron brotherhood leader is (the building near the helipad), go in here and kill all the hostages and the Iron brotherhood leader, now secure the hostages by telling bravo to hold their position near them 6. Once that is done, go around the rest of the platform and kill any remaining terrorists in the buildings A-E and the helipad. 7. This completes the level Note: This is a very rough walkthrough more will be added later when I unlock the level select feature of the game. Level 4. Golden Triangle Holiday (what's with the title?) Briefing: You must recover stolen intel and destroy a getaway for a group of terrorists. Objectives: 1. Secure Outer Island 2. Insert Via River 3. Eavesdrop for Intel 4. Eliminate Sentries 5. Search Hut for Intel 6. Prevent Enemy Escape 7. Bravo to Juliet 8. Secure Main Complex 9. Clear Hut One 10. Clear Hut Two 11. Reclaim Bio Data 12. Breach Final Hut 13. Move to Zulu 1. First, run to the 1st group of bushes in the water, then shoot the terrorist that is waiting on the edge of the small island run to the 2nd and 3rd groups undetected, once you reach the shore you should be able to pick off a few terrorists, once you have secured the island, go underneath the hut and listen, once they are done talking go into the hut and pick up the folder 2. Next follow your tacmap to point [D] (tell team to lead you to each point). Kill any and all terrorists you encounter along the way. Have your team lead up until point [F]. 3. Once at point [F] tell bravo stealth to Juliet, there they will cover you when you destroy the boats, after you plant the C4, run onto the dock and tell your team to regroup. After that move to huts 1 and 2 and secure them (you can throw grenades through the windows of the huts). 4. Move to point X-ray to reclaim the bio data (tell your team "TEAM ATTACK TO XRAY") WHATS THIS! Some of the bio data is missing, you must retrieve the rest in another mission 5. Finally tell your team to attack to ZULU, this completes the mission Note: Don't worry, I know that you cant see very well in these nighttime jungle missions, I hate them too, but the nice bright middle east levels are close, hang in there. Level 5. Temple at Hohn Kaen Briefing: Recapture a US ambassador and his wife. Objectives: 1. Clear insertion area 2. Eavesdrop on locals 3. Secure flank 4. Identify sentries 5. Ambush flank guards 6. Secure wife 7. Clear temple area 8. Helicopter extraction 9. Secure ambassador 1. First go west and then turn north after you pass a large boulder, knife the guard kneeling down there. Wait a few seconds, let the 2 Riddah Rouge pass, snipe them when they stop walking. Now turn north and kill the Riddah waiting in the boat, then look across the little pond and kill the sentry along the path. 2. Now walk underneath the hut in the middle of the pond, listen to the villagers talk about the hostages, now run northeast onto the hill and listen to the conversation (under the hut), now go back to pond and there should be a little hut with a guard waiting in it, rifle butt him. Tell your team to regroup. 3. Go to point Charlie, see the wall with the opening with elephant idles, go to that wall and head east through a little passage to the other side, and kill the Riddah waiting to the west. Now tell bravo to attack to point echo, while you move along the wall you just passed through to eliminate the snipers atop it. 4. Once the area is cleared, go to the next area where a bridge can be found, tell bravo to attack to your crosshairs (which you should then point to the other side of the area. Now that you are on the outside of the temple area, go up the stairs to the north, there should be a little hole along the corridor where you can peek into the temple area and kill some guards without them knowing. 5. Now move around to the flank and point your crosshairs to the other side of the flank, tell bravo to attack to the crosshairs, let them do all the work, once the guards at the flank have been eliminated, go inside the temple area. 6. Make sure that the temple area is secure, then move into the hut little building in the northwest corner of the temple area. Now restrain the wife, WAIT! Before you go out, make sure you have an automatic weapon full of ammo, do not let the wife follow you yet, tell your team to follow you out into the courtyard of the temple area, tons of guards come outta nowhere, kill them, now tell the wife to follow you to the extraction point which is just several feet away at point [Z] 7. Make your way around to whisky and be careful as you approach Juliet and Romeo, once you reach [R] shoot all the guards, watch out for ones on the roof too, secure the ambassador and the mission will close. Level 6. City of the forgotten Briefing: Eliminate an escaping terrorist and retrieve remaining intel from level 4. (this is the end of the nighttime jungle levels, and is the hardest of the 3, your in for a rough time here). SECRETS: HEADSET COMMANDS: Say these commands into your headset during play to perform the following action; 1. "HANDS UP, GET DOWN!"-Sneak up behind and enemy and say this and the enemy will surrender. 2. "BRAVO, OPEN DOOR"-Put your crosshairs on the door that you want bravo to open when you say this. 3. "BRAVO/ABLE, FRAG/BANG, CLEAR"-Say any of the following for Bravo or able to flashbang or frag grenade a door with a room on the other side. 4. "TEAM, LOW PROFILE"-Say this for your team to go into stealth mode. 5. "BRAVO/ABLE, DEFUSE BOMB"-Say this for bravo or able to defuse a bomb. UNLOCK NEW DIFFICULTIES: 1. Lieutenant JG: Beat game on ensign difficulty 2. Lieutenant: Beat game on Lieutenant JG difficulty 3. Lieutenant Commander: Beat game on Lieutenant difficulty 4. Commander: Beat the game on Lieutenant Commander difficulty 5. Captain: Beat the game on Commander difficulty 6. Rear Admiral: Beat the game on captain difficulty 7. Admiral: beat the game on Rear Admiral difficulty UNLOCK NEW WEAPONS: To unlock all the weapons, including the ones the terrorists use, beat the game on ensign difficulty, now all the weapons are available in the armory.
