Introduction **************************************************************************** This a walkthrough and strategy guide for the SOCOM US Navy SEALs Combined Assault game. In Combined Assault, you (codename Specter) command a four- man team (known as Fireteam) comprised of two elements, Able and Bravo. You and Jester comprise the Able element. The Fireteam will be deployed to complete missions in various regions involving eliminating terrorists, rescuing hostages, etc. With any action-based game, there are difficult parts as well as some easy parts. The goal of this guide is to help you accomplish all of the primary, secondary and bonus objectives in each mission and not to tell the "story" (that will come as you play the game). Each mission will indicate the recommended weapons for each Fireteam member and a walkthrough/strategy for completing the mission and all of the objectives. Some tips may also be provided that can be used to make the mission or objective easier. The strategy provided for each mission and objective is only ONE way it can be done, there can be many. It is recommended that a mission be attempted before reading the strategy for it. You may find that the way you completed the mission is the same or is completely different. Bear in mind that there is no right or wrong way to complete a mission. Finally, you have to be prepared to improvise while doing the missions. This strategy guide is only meant as an aid and is not 100% foolproof. Enemies can appear in different locations if a different route is taken, you have been detected or the mission objectives are done in a different order. An enemy may have to be killed earlier than indicated or an enemy not mentioned in the guide may have to be eliminated. Enemies may also alter their route and/or behavior if they hear gunfire or other enemies are shot in a different order or at a different point in their route than indicated in this strategy guide. Decisions must be made based on the current situation, remaining undetected, and being able to complete the objectives. **************************************************************************** 3. General Information **************************************************************************** **************************************************************************** 4.1 Tactical Map **************************************************************************** The tactical map (known as the TACMAP) shows much information vital to completing the mission. It has a map of the current mission area (including structures and a compass) and displays your current location (represented by a white dot), the current location of each Fireteam member (indicated by a blue dot) and the current location of any enemy (indicated by a red dot). A white triangle at your location indicates your current field of vision. Vehicle locations are also displayed on the TACMAP. The vehicle icons are in the shape of the vehicle and are color-coded based on who is manning the vehicle (white = unmanned, blue = Bravo, red = enemy, brown = you). Important locations are indicated by navigation (NAV) points (indicated by a yellow 'V'). Mission objectives may be located at a NAV point. When a mission strategy refers to a NAV point, it will be in CAPITAL letters. A primary objective is shown on the TACMAP by a gold star while a secondary objective is a silver star. The region where an objective needs to be completed may also be highlighted in yellow. The TACMAP display also shows all of the current objectives in the mission. An objective that is available but not yet completed is displayed in white. Completed objectives are displayed in yellow (for primary and secondary) or blue (for bonus). If an objective cannot be completed (e.g., if the team needed to remain undetected and did not), it will be displayed in red. **************************************************************************** 4.2 On-Screen Display **************************************************************************** The main feature of the display is the targeting crosshairs in the middle of the screen. These crosshairs are color-coded based on the current aim. When the crosshairs are yellow, no one is currently being targeted. When the crosshairs turn red, the enemy is being targeted AND is within the current weapon's range. Even if the weapon is targeted on an enemy, if he is outside of the weapon range, the crosshairs will remain yellow. It is possible to hit an enemy when the crosshairs are yellow, but it is not guaranteed since some shots may outside of the weapon's range while others may not. If the Aim Assist feature is on, a red square will appear indicating the target has been locked on. If the crosshairs turn green, either a member of the Fireteam, escortee or a surrendering enemy is being targeted. If a target is blocked by an obstruction, the crosshairs will be gray. The lines around the crosshairs show the spread of the bullets from the aim point when fired. The lines will move closer together when crouched or prone, indicating the shot will be more accurate. In addition, each time an enemy fires their weapon, a small red quarter circle will be displayed on the edge of the crosshairs indicating the relative direction of the shot. The view of the area can also be changed between third person (seen from behind Specter's location) and first person (through Specter's eyes). The view can also be zoomed if the equipment used for it (i.e., binoculars, scoped weapon, etc.) is currently being carried. There are several special displays also shown on the screen while doing a mission. The first is the compass in the upper right corner. This shows the relative direction and distance of the other Fireteam members, NAV points and current mission objectives (using the same indicators as on the TACMAP). The display also shows the relative location and distance of nearby enemies that have been spotted (indicated by a red dot). North is indicated by "N" and an arrow on the compass and you are always in the center of the compass. On the lower right corner is the team member status. Below each Fireteam member's name is a bar indicating his health. At the beginning of a mission, it is completely green. When the member is injured, it will begin to decrease. If injury continues to occur, a part of it will turn yellow and then red (based on the seriousness of the injury). If the entire bar turns red, the team member is incapacitated and the health bar will turn black and rapidly decrease. If the health bar completely runs down before being revived with a medkit, the team member is dead. There is also a vertical, concealment indicator to the right of the health indicator. This shows how visible the team member is to the enemies. When extremely visible, the indicator is yellow. When concealed using cover, the indicator will turn darker. The darker the indicator, the less visible the team member is to the enemies (with black being the lowest visibility). If a team member is spotted by the enemy, the concealment indicator will turn red. The lower left corner of the screen shows your current weapon status. It indicates the weapon currently selected, the number of magazines of ammunition being carried for it, the number of rounds remaining in the magazine and the weapon's current fire mode (1 bullet = single shot, 3 bullets = burst, 4 bullets = full automatic). When in a vehicle, a display will be seen in the lower left corner indicating your seating position in the vehicle (indicated by a orange dot), the remaining Fireteam member's positions in the vehicle (indicate blue dots) and any empty seats (indicated by an empty circle). **************************************************************************** 4.3 Controls **************************************************************************** The game controller is configurable to use one of six different presets. These presets are known as Precision Shooter, Scout, Commando, Frogman, Sure Shot, and Lefty. Before starting a new game or loading an existing game, the current configuration can be changed (and saved if desired) through the Options selection on the main menu. Each configuration has the same basic functions, but is assigned to a different button. The Precision Shooter provides the greatest flexibility and control and is the default setting. The following are the Precision Shooter control settings: Left: Peek left (when on foot), change seat with team member (when in a vehicle) Right: Peek right (when on foot), change seat with team member (when in a vehicle) Up: Change view or zoom in (if current view is through a scope, binoculars or night vision goggles) Down: Change view or zoom out (if current view is through a scope, binoculars or night vision goggles) Left analog stick: Move forward/backward or left/right (when on foot), steer (when driving) Right analog stick: Rotate left/right (when on foot), look left/right (when driving), aim weapon (when using a mounted weapon) X: Perform special action (when special action icon appears) Circle: Issue commands Square: Jump Triangle: Change body position (stand, crouch, hold for prone), submerge (while swimming), brake (when driving) L1: Toggle primary/secondary weapon (when on foot), reverse (when driving) L2: Perform team command action (TCA) (when team command action icon displayed), issue "MOVE TO" command (when no team command action icon is displayed), issue "FOLLOW" or "HOLD POSITION" command (when button held and no team command action icon is displayed) L3: Change fire mode (single, burst, full automatic) R1: Fire weapon, throw grenade or place explosive (when on foot), accelerate (when driving) R2: Display weapons store R3: Reload (when on foot), reset camera view (when in a vehicle) SELECT: Display TACMAP START: Pause game and display the mission menu The Options selection on the main menu has a diagram of each configuration's button settings. In order to avoid confusion, this guide will refer to the purpose of the button and not a specific configuration's button. **************************************************************************** 4.4 Commands **************************************************************************** Commands can be issued two ways to the other Fireteam members. The first is by using the on-screen menus and the second is through the headset. Menu commands are issued by pressing the Issue Commands button for the current controller configuration (see the Controls section) and selecting the desired command from the menus. Commands are issued through the headset by holding the Issue Commands button and speaking the command into the headset's microphone. Each command is comprised of two parts. The first is "Who". This indicates the person (or persons) that should execute the command. The following are the possible selections: Fireteam - Command to both Able and Bravo elements Able 2 - Command to Jester only Bravo - Command to Bravo element only Bravo 1 – Command to Killjoy only Bravo 2 – Command to Simple only The second part is "What". This indicates the action to be performed. The following are the possible selections: Follow – Follow me Hold Position – Stay where you are Move To – Move to the crosshair location Stealth To – Move to the crosshair location using cover and shadows Fire At Will - Take any and every open shot Hold Fire - Shoot only when shot at Cover Target - Provide cover fire at the crosshair location Overwatch – Watch area indicated by the crosshairs and call out enemies spotted Deploy - Throw item at the crosshair location (choice of items will appear in the submenu) Place Satchel - Place an explosive satchel at the crosshair location Breach – Bang And Clear – Forcibly enter door at the crosshair location, deploy a flashbang and clear the room Breach – Frag And Clear – Forcibly enter door at the crosshair location, deploy a frag and clear the room Breach – Move And Clear – Forcibly enter door at the crosshair location and clear the room (Note: Breach commands can only be issued to the entire Fireteam.) Takedown – Engage enemy or vehicle at the crosshair location until it has been eliminated Rifle Butt – Engage enemy at the crosshair location with close quarter's combat until he has either surrendered or been killed Intimidate – Subdue enemy at the crosshair location until he has surrendered Restrain – Restrain the target at the crosshair location Mount - Mount vehicle or turret at the crosshair location Escort - Lead escortee at the crosshair location Defuse – Defuse the explosive at the crosshair location Place C4 - Place a C4 charge at the crosshair location Note: If an engage command (e.g., Cover Target, Breach) is given and a new command (e.g., Hold Position) is given before the engage command is completed, the element receiving the command will still be in a Fire At Will mode. The Deploy command also has a third part that indicates what should be deployed. The following are the possible selections are based on the equipment being carried by a member of the Fireteam: Frag – Standard fragmentation grenade used to kill enemies HE – High explosive grenade used to kill enemies and destroy objects Flashbang – Grenade releasing a bang and light flash used to disable enemies Smoke – Grenade releasing a white cloud of smoke Satchel – Satchel filled with explosives **************************************************************************** 4.5 Special Actions **************************************************************************** Some actions can only be performed at a specific time. An orange, special icon will appear at the bottom center of the screen to indicate the available action(s). These actions include picking up dead bodies, opening doors, planting explosives, etc. Some available actions only occur when the crosshairs are placed on the object. To perform the special action, press the Perform Special Action button for the current controller configuration (see the Controls section), select the desired icon (if more than one action is available) and release the Perform Special Action button. The following are the special action icons that may appear: Pickup Primary - Rifle Pickup Secondary - Pistol Pickup Body - Body and up arrow Drop Body - Body and down arrow Open Door - Open door Close Door - Closed door Pickup Item - Box and up arrow Pickup Sausage - Sausage and up arrow Knife Attack - Knife Rifle Butt - Person with arrow pointing at head Climb Up - Ladder with arrow facing up Place Satchel - Satchel with down arrow C4 Charge - C4 Ladder Slide - Ladder with two arrows facing down Restrain - Handcuffs Escortee Follow - Person and >> Escortee Hold - Person and a solid square Mount - Up arrow Dismount - Down arrow Operate - Switch with down arrow Defuse/Disable - Wires with wire cutter Medkit - Medical kit with down arrow Restore Ammo - Ammo with down arrow Occasionally during a mission, a blue icon will appear at the bottom of the screen to the right of the special action icon. When this icon appears, pressing the perform team command action button will issue this command to the Fireteam. If the perform team command action button is pressed and there is no icon displayed, a "MOVE TO" command will be issued to the Able and Bravo. If the perform team command action button is held, the "FOLLOW" command will be issued to Able and Bravo if they are currently holding or the "HOLD POSITION" command if they are currently moving. **************************************************************************** 4.6 Weapons **************************************************************************** Various weapons can be selected from the armory when starting a mission and while doing the mission. Each weapon has its own characteristics such as volume, accuracy and range. **************************************************************************** 4.6.1 Categories **************************************************************************** Each weapon falls into one of three categories: primary, secondary and extra equipment. The primary weapons consist of the assault rifles, machine guns and sniper rifles. The secondary weapons are the pistol guns. The current primary or secondary weapon can be switched for any enemy weapon of the same category found during the mission (see the Special Actions section). The current weapon in the category will be dropped. Finally, the extra equipment is all of the various other devices that can be carried (e.g., frag grenades, flashbangs, satchels, etc.). Each gun has a single shot mode and may have the additional modes of 2-shot burst, 3-shot burst and full automatic. The single shot mode means each shot consists of only 1 bullet being fired. The 2-shot and 3-shot burst modes can have up to 2 or 3 bullets per shot, respectively. One or two bullets is also possible by pressing or tapping lightly on the Fire button. The automatic fire mode will continue to shoot until the Fire button is released or the ammunition is exhausted. **************************************************************************** 4.6.2 Throwing **************************************************************************** When a throwable weapon (e.g., frag grenade, flashbang, etc.) is equipped, the crosshairs on the display will change. When the Fire button is pressed and held, an arc is displayed. This arc represents the trajectory of the throw and its direction can be changed using the movement buttons in the current controller configuration (see the Controls section). The controller is pressure sensitive so the harder the button is pressed, the farther the throw will be. Once the desired arc is achieved, release the Fire button to throw. If the Fire button is gently released, the weapon will not be thrown. Note: The arc is not an exact path. If other objects are close to the weapon's trajectory, the weapon may hit the objects while in the air and not reach the intended location. **************************************************************************** 4.7 Advanced Tactics **************************************************************************** **************************************************************************** 4.7.1 Stealth **************************************************************************** Remaining undetected while completing the objectives is a primary goal in all of the missions. If the Fireteam is detected, some of the objectives may not be able to be completed. There are several ways to maintain stealth. The first is to move slowly. The slower the movement, the less noise that is made. Moving slowly is also important since different surfaces will make a different amount of noise when traveling on them (i.e., crackling when walking over dried leaves, etc.) The second way to remain undetected is to use the prone position and crawling in order to maintain a low profile. This lowers the chance of being spotted by an enemy than standing or crouching. Crawling should be used whenever there are enemies in the area that may spot or hear the team. Movement should also only be done when nearby enemies are looking away in a different direction. The likelihood of being spotted or heard increases the more team members that are moving at one time since more movement means more noise will be made. Another way to maintain stealth is to realize what happens after an enemy is killed. If an enemy sees another being shot or finds a dead body, they will investigate and alert other nearby enemies (and possibly compromise the mission). Because of this, try to shoot an enemy only when other enemies will not see it and the body will not be noticed. However, sometimes an enemy has to be killed when it is not possible to hide the body. Most enemy bodies will "disappear" a short time after they are killed. If an enemy is killed and his body cannot be hidden, watch for other enemies to come to investigate and shoot them when they do to prevent them from alerting others. It is also important to avoid shooting an enemy from the side since there is a greater chance of missing. Finally, BE PATIENT! Maintaining stealth and cover to remain undetected or waiting for an enemy to get into the optimal position can be a slow going event. Being impatient to complete an objective and rushing may cause an objective failure or a lower ranking. **************************************************************************** 4.7.2 Silent Kills **************************************************************************** In addition to using a silenced weapon, there are several other methods of performing a silent kill to remain undetected. These require approaching the enemy from behind quietly and unseen. When an enemy is approached from behind, the Knife Attack and/or Rifle Butt special action icon will appear (see Special Actions section). Quickly execute one of these to eliminate the enemy before he becomes aware and can alert others. If the enemy does become aware, he may momentarily stop to see if he hears anything and then turn around. If this happens, quickly kill him before being seen. **************************************************************************** 4.7.3 Sniping **************************************************************************** Using a sniper rifle can be advantageous in several of the missions since it allows enemies to be located and eliminated at a distance without compromising the team's location and allows for a stealth approach. If the thermal scope is selected as an attachment (when available), enemies will be seen in the scope as "orange" (due to their body heat being emitted) and the surroundings as "blue". This aids in being able to see enemies in a dark environment at a greater distance. Without the scope, the enemies must be closer to be seen and this could cause them to spot you or the team. The prone position should be used for sniping whenever possible. This allows the aim to relax and ensure the target is hit. The aim is more unstable and harder to control when the stance is higher (i.e., aim is most unpredictable when standing). Once the aim is steady, it must be moved slowly (i.e., no rapid movement) since continually readjusting it will cause it to be unsettled. Aiming at a point ahead of an enemy's path will allow it to settle before he reaches the location and allow for a one shot kill. When sniping multiple enemies that are close to each other, shoot the enemy that is out of view of the other one first (e.g., the enemy in the rear if patrolling in a single file line). This will eliminate the possibility of the other enemy being alerted. However, it must be a single shot to the head since the enemy will yell (and alert other enemies) if hit in the body and not killed with one shot. When it is required to move into position for a shoot and then shoot quickly (e.g., an enemy to be killed is looking toward the current position), looking through the scope while moving will allow for the shot to be immediately taken when it is clear. The disadvantage to using a sniper rifle is that it is not very effective for close quarter battles (CQB) since it is a single shot weapon and does not have a fast fire rate. For these situations, either the secondary weapon (which may also be ineffective depending on the type) or the other Fireteam members must be relied upon. The sniper rifle can also be exchanged for a dropped enemy weapon. However, these weapons are not silenced and will alert other enemies to the team's presence. **************************************************************************** 4.7.4 Teamwork **************************************************************************** A lot of the success of various missions is related to the ability to perform as a team. This is not simply moving together at the same time. It means using the Bravo element and Jester to complete various tasks. Bravo and Jester can be ordered to do something different then what you are doing. This could be moving to a different location, securing an area or performing a mission objective. Some missions are impossible to complete entirely on your own. The exception to this rule is that you cannot be outside of a maximum radial distance from Jester (approximately 30 meters). If this occurs, Jester will automatically regroup on your position, even if ordered to Hold Position. You must be aware of your location in relation to Jester's since his automatic regrouping may cause an enemy to see him and compromise the mission. **************************************************************************** 4.8 General Tips and Strategies **************************************************************************** Here are some additional general tips and strategies to use while playing the game: - Unless required for a specific mission objective, not all enemies encountered must be killed. Kill only those enemies where it is tactically or strategically necessary. If there are other enemies in the area, hide the killed enemy bodies (if possible) to prevent the other enemies from spotting them. - The third person view allows for a wider field of vision and the ability to see enemies around corners. - Be sure the crosshairs on the display are red (indicating the enemy is within range) before firing. Otherwise, they may not be shot and can alert other nearby enemies (and possibly compromise the current mission). - When shooting an enemy that is in an elevated location (i.e., catwalk, balcony, etc.), be aware of where the body will land in relation to other enemies in the area if it falls over the edge. - If entering an area known to have a large number of entries, be sure the current amount of ammunition is not almost used up. If it is, force a reload of the weapon. There is a greater chance of being hit if the reload occurs in the middle of a firefight. - Use the other Fireteam members to your advantage for locating and eliminating enemies. They can usually find and eliminate them faster than you can, especially those in the distance. - Be aware of the other Fireteam members' firing status (i.e., holding fire or firing at will). This will ensure they fire (or not fire) when expected. - Use the compass display on the on-screen display to help locate nearby enemies - When possible, shoot an enemy that is moving away from your current location. This eliminates accidentally being seen when adjusting the location for the shot. - Avoid running for an extended period since any Fireteam member currently following will fall behind. - Since the Fireteam members currently following will use the same body position as you, before changing your body position, be sure the other member's change will not give away their position (especially when changing from the prone position). - If the Fireteam members are holding and ordered to Follow, they will run to your current position (and may be seen and compromise the mission). If you need them to remain silent, move back to their location and issue a Follow command. - Occasionally an enemy will start running for no reason. Avoid being "spooked" when this occurs and firing or moving too early. - When throwing a flashbang while trying to apprehend an enemy, be sure to temporarily turn away when it explodes. Otherwise, you may be blinded by the flash and possibly killed by the enemy. - When attempting to restrain an enemy, it is safe to approach after throwing a flashbang if either the subtitles are seen or speech is heard from the enemy indicating he has surrendered; otherwise, he may not have yet surrendered. - Throwing a smoke grenade toward an enemy will blind them and allow you to kill them without being seen. Any amount of smoke in the area will completely blind the enemies AND the Fireteam members. Even if the smoke grenade lands outside of the intended room, the room itself will still fill with smoke and blind the enemies. When an area is filled with smoke, determine the enemy's location by watching for the crosshairs to turn red and looking for their location on the on-screen display. - Listen for the change in music to indicate when nearby enemies are aware of your presence (will be more "forceful" or "ominous"). Once any alerted enemy is killed, the music will stop. - If an enemy is behind cover, shoot the object he is behind to force him to stand up. - If Able starts his automatic regrouping, quickly order Able to Hold Position to force him to stop (especially if you are moving toward his location). - When escorting a prisoner or hostage, it is a good idea to have Bravo lead to the next location. This will provide the most protection to the escortee since Bravo will engage the enemies ahead and Able will engage any enemies that approach from the rear. - After restarting from a checkpoint, Bravo will be following even if they were holding position before the restart. Be sure that you are aware of their location and immediately issue a Bravo Hold Position command if necessary. - After restarting from a checkpoint, all enemies in the area will return to their original positions (i.e., they will not be aware of your presence if previously alerted.) - The Takedown special action icon will provide an indication where an enemy is located even if he is not visible. - Remain alert after completing a mission until the status or cinematic is seen since enemies may still appear and fire upon the Fireteam. - If your secondary weapon is an AT-4, M3, etc., it will be possible to pick up M67 grenades after the weapon has been fired. - The Fireteam members will sometimes be able to see enemies and their location appear on the tactical map when they would not actually be visible in real life (e.g., through walls, buildings, etc.). **************************************************************************** 5. Follow the footpath next to the cliff until reaching DELTA. Order Bravo to Overwatch. Use the binoculars or scope to view the helicopter crash site. There are four paramilitaries in the area. Two will remain stationary near the site, one will patrol up the hill to the left and one will move down the hill to the right. [***** Secondary Objective – Recon from Echo *****] Continue moving southeast up the hill along the right side of the cliff until reaching the snow-covered footpath. Go left on the path and follow it until reaching the bushes at ECHO. Slowly crawl through the bushes and use the binoculars or scope to view the helicopter crash site. [***** Primary Objective – Infiltrate Crash Site *****] Order Fireteam to Fire At Will. Once all four paramilitaries are killed, order Fireteam to Hold Fire. Move left down the hill and then northwest until reaching the helicopter crash site. [***** Primary Objective – Demo Helicopter *****] Move to the helicopter and point the crosshairs at it until the C4 Charge special action icon is displayed. Place a C4 charge and quickly move away before the charge explodes. ***** CHECKPOINT ***** [***** Crosstalk Objective – Neutralize Squad *****] Move southeast along the snow-covered ridge toward ECHO and continue toward the gap between the fallen tree and the standing tree. (Note: There are three paramilitaries at the bottom of the hill to the right (west) of ECHO.) Stop when reaching the ledge by the standing tree. There are three to five paramilitaries standing at the bottom of the hill to the southwest. Crawl up the ledge to the right of the tree until three are in view. Quickly shoot each of them, beginning with the closest, before being spotted. (Note: One of the paramilitaries may be further west down the path. If this occurs, slowly begin moving left down the path and shoot the paramilitary when in view. [***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Map *****] Move north, past the helicopter crash site, until reaching DELTA. Order Bravo to Follow. Move along the path toward ROMEO. When the path turns right (approximately 16m from ROMEO), a tent will be in view with three paramilitaries in front of it. Throw a smoke grenade into the open area near the tent. When the smoke begins to appear, move toward the tent, locate and shoot each of the paramilitaries. When all of the paramilitaries are dead, move inside of the tent and pick up the map on the table. [***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****] Order Fireteam to Follow and move west to the path. Follow the path until reaching DELTA. Move right (northwest) along the snow-covered footpath until reaching CHARLIE. Follow the path west and then north until reaching FOXTROT. Move along the left side of the path until approximately 13m from INDIA. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. Get into the prone position and crawl through the bushes until the communications tent is in view. There are three paramilitaries standing in the path to the right (south) of the tent. There is also a paramilitary on the ledge to the east overlooking the path. Continue crawling until the each of the paramilitaries standing near the tent is in view (approximately 5m from INDIA). Make sure that you stay hidden in the bush. Quickly shoot each of the paramilitaries, beginning with the one on the right, before being spotted. If the paramilitary on the ridge is currently out of view, slowly move right and ahead along the path until he is visible and can be killed. Once all of them are dead, order Able 2 to Follow. Move left to the lake and then proceed around it to the far (north) side until reaching the large rock. Pickup the sausage located on the ground to the northwest of the rock. [***** Primary Objective – Destroy Communications *****] Move back around the lake until reaching Bravo's position. Order Bravo to Follow. Move along the path until reaching the communications tent. Go inside and point the crosshairs at the radio until the Disable Radio special action icon is displayed. Select the special action to destroy the radio. (Tip: The radio can also be destroyed by shooting it.) [***** Primary Objective – Search for Survivors *****] Move outside of the tent and proceed up the ledge to the southeast of the path (where the fourth paramilitary had been). When reaching the wooden bridge on the left, order Fireteam to Hold Position and crawl until reaching the edge of the ledge overlooking the village. There are four paramilitaries in the center of the village (near KILO). Two are standing stationary, while one patrols east to west on the north side and the other patrols north to south on the west side. There is also a sniper on the south or east ridge overlooking the village (he may be hard to see if on the east ridge). There is also a paramilitary near the buildings on the north side of the village or sometimes further east in the village. There is also a second sniper on either the northwest ridge or the southwest ridge overlooking the village. Locate and shoot the sniper on the south or east ridge. Shoot the paramilitaries in the center of the village, beginning with the one patrolling on the west side. Once the four paramilitaries in the center of the village are dead, turn around and move back to the bridge. Order Fireteam to Follow. Cross the bridge and move east until reaching the area overlooking the village. Look for the paramilitary patrolling on the north side of the village. If he is in this area, shoot him when he stops near the closest set of buildings. Once the paramilitary is dead, move left to the wooden bridge over the gorge. Slowly move east into the village. If the paramilitary was not killed on the north side of the village, locate him on the east side and shoot him when he is in view. When approximately 3m from KILO, shoot the sniper on the ridge to the northeast or southwest when he is in view. Once the sniper is killed, continue to KILO. In the village, there are two paramilitaries and two dead Fireteam members in one of the three buildings to be searched. The actual building they are in is random. Begin by searching the first building on the right, then the building on the east side and finally, the building on the hill in the northeast corner. To search a building, move to the left side of the building's door. Point the crosshairs at the door and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, open the door and throw a grenade into the room. If the paramilitaries are inside, they should be killed by the grenade. Quickly move into the room and kill any remaining paramilitaries before the smoke clears. If the one on the far left is not visible, shoot the other two, then move right, and shoot the remaining paramilitary when he is in view. Once all three of the paramilitaries are dead, move north up the small hill to the left side of the left building. Move around to the back and then to the far left (east) corner. On the ridge to the far southeast, there is a sniper looking north. There are also three paramilitaries out of view on the path below and to the right of the sniper. Shoot the sniper and then quickly look right to the path leading up to the ridge. The three paramilitaries will be seen running up the path. Once all three of them are visible, shoot the paramilitary in the front and then the remaining two. Once all three of the paramilitaries are dead, move southeast along the fence and tree line until reaching the path leading to DELTA. Proceed up the hill to DELTA and then up the hill toward the barrel with the fire. Go north across the ledge until 65m from INDIA. There is a sniper on the highest wooden walkway to the north. There is also a sniper on the second highest wooden walkway to the northwest (hard to see, but on the same walkway as the first sniper). Shoot the sniper to the northwest and then the sniper on the north walkway. Once both snipers have been shot, continue on the path until reaching the wooden bridge over the ravine. Move across the bridge and follow the path past INDIA until reaching the climbable wooden structure (ignore the nearby explosions since they will not hit you or the team). Climb up the structure and follow the path until reaching the wooden walkway leading up the
mountain. Climb onto the wooden walkway and turn right. Follow the walkway
until 39m from JULIET. There are three snipers to the west. One of them is
on the front, right corner of the platform and the second is on the ledge
below the platform. The third sniper is either on the right (north) ledge
next to the mountain or is manning the machine gun turret on the rear, right
corner of the platform. Shoot the sniper on the ledge and then shoot the
sniper on the front, right corner of the platform. If the third sniper is
manning the machine gun turret, quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Otherwise, crawl left until he is visible on the ridge and shoot him before
being spotted.
Once the snipers are dead, move along the path, staying as far right next to
the mountain as possible until reaching the raised walkway near JULIET.
Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There is one sniper laying prone on the
right of the walkway. Point the crosshairs at the ground by the raised
walkway and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, climb
onto the walkway and quickly shoot the sniper before the smoke clears.
Order Fireteam to Follow and move along the walkway until reaching the cave
entrance. Pick up the sausage located on the ledge to the right of the cave
entrance.
[***** Secondary Objective – Destroy Communications *****]
Move into the cave entrance.
***** CHECKPOINT *****
Move into the cave until reaching the wooden wall on the left and then move
to the right side of it. A paramilitary will patrol along the path between
the large room ahead and the tunnel on the right. Point the crosshairs to
the rock on the right (northeast) and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. When
the smoke begins to appear, move northwest to the tunnel on the right.
Locate and kill the paramilitary in the tunnel before the smoke clears.
Once the paramilitary is dead, follow the tunnel until reaching the large
area just past ROMEO. There is one paramilitary at the end of the path on
the left (in front of the door to the communications room). Occasionally he
will move inside of the room. There are also two paramilitaries inside of
the communications room. Occasionally one of them will move outside. Turn
left and peek around the rock until the paramilitary outside of the room is
visible. Quickly shoot him before being spotted. Move down the path until
reaching the left side of the door. Point the crosshairs at the ground in
front of the door and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke
appears, open the door (if necessary) and move into the room. Quickly kill
the paramilitaries before the smoke clears.
Once both paramilitaries are dead, move to the radio inside of the room on
the far left side. Point the crosshair at the radio until the Disable Radio
special action icon is displayed. Select the special action to destroy the
radio. (Tip: The radio can also be destroyed by shooting it.)
[***** Secondary Objective – Plant Fuel Satchel *****]
Climb up to the wooden walkway to the left (north) of the communication's
room door. Follow the walkway into the tunnel and continue until reaching
the end of the tunnel. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There are three
paramilitaries in the open area of the cave. The first is moving in the
large area near the water to the north and may be near the tunnel to the
right of the water. The second is on the left side of the dock on the far
north side. The last one is behind the large stalagmite to the northwest
and may be out of view. Get into the prone position and face north. Crawl
left down the stairs until either the paramilitary to the northwest or the
one near the water is visible. Quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Continue crawling left and shoot the paramilitary on the dock when visible.
If the paramilitary near the water has not been killed, continue crawling
left until he is visible and shoot him.
Order Fireteam to Fire At Will. Point the crosshairs at the open area near
the water to the north (about 22m from the stairs) and order Fireteam to
Move To. Once the Fireteam is in position, move west to the second large
stalagmite (approximately 40m from the fuel crate). There is one
paramilitary on the northwest side near the fuel supply (he may be out of
sight). If he is not visible, wait until to see if he becomes visible and
shoot him when he does. Otherwise, slowly move northwest past the wooden
walkway to the stalagmite near the fuel supply. Slowly move around it until
the paramilitary is in view. Peek around the corner and quickly shoot him
before being spotted.
Point the crosshairs at the fuel supply and order Able 2 to Place Satchel.
[***** Secondary Objective – Plant Weapon Satchel *****]
Move east until reaching the wooden walkway. Order Fireteam to Follow.
Slowly move along the wooden walkway toward the cave (at WHISKEY). There
are five paramilitaries inside of the cave. Be sure to watch the water area
to the right since one or more of them may exit through the southeast door
(at VICTOR). When 25m from WHISKEY, throw a smoke grenade into the cave
entrance. When the smoke begins to appear, quickly move into the cave,
point the crosshairs at the east side and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke.
Quickly locate and kill the paramilitaries inside of the cave before the
smoke clears (be sure to check in the room on the left near the cave
entrance and the room in the northeast corner).
Once all of the paramilitaries inside of the cave have been killed, move
back to the door on the left near the cave entrance. Go into the room and
plant a satchel by the weapons crate.
[***** Primary Objective – Cripple Stronghold *****]

Exit the room through the door on the right (east) and proceed to the door
to the ammunition room. Open the door, go into the room and plant a satchel
by the ammunition storage.

Move south out of the room and proceed to the cave exit at VICTOR. Order
Fireteam to Follow. Go right (southwest) and continue until reaching the
wooden walkway leading to XRAY. Do not climb onto the wooden walkway. Move
to the right of the walkway to the small tunnel. Follow the tunnel until
reaching the room door. There is one paramilitary inside of the room, but
sometimes he will move into the adjoining cave. Point the crosshairs at the
door and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke begins to appear,
move inside of the room, locate and kill the paramilitary.
Once the paramilitary is dead, pick up the troop intel on the table in the
far right corner.
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Missing Fireteam *****]
Exit the room and slowly move up the hill toward YANKEE. Stop when reaching
the door leading into the next tunnel. There are three paramilitaries
inside of the room to the left just inside of the cave entrance, along with
the Fireteam member (Underwood). While remaining out of view to the left of
the door, peek right and throw a smoke grenade into the room. When the
smoke appears, move into the room and kill the paramilitaries. Be careful
not to kill Underwood since his death will cause a mission failure.
Once the paramilitaries are dead, move to Underwood and restrain him.
[***** Primary Objective – Move Underwood to Extract *****]
Point the crosshairs at Underwood and order him to Follow. Move out of the
room and go right into the next tunnel area. Turn left and proceed through
the tunnel leading outside. When reaching the outside, shoot the sniper on
the left incline if he is there (he will be if he was not shot earlier when
entering the caves). Slowly move up the right path, staying next to the
cliff. Two paramilitaries will begin moving down the hill directly ahead.
Two additional paramilitaries will move down the hill to the right from the
extraction zone. Quickly shoot both paramilitaries moving down the hill
directly ahead before being spotted. Slowly continue up the hill and shoot
the other two paramilitaries when they are in view. When the path turns
right, there may be a paramilitary at the machine gun in the extraction
zone. Shoot him if he is there. Continue moving up the hill to the
extraction zone, staying next to the cliff. Once Underwood is in the
extraction zone, the mission is complete.

[***** Secondary Objective – Recon Boat Launch *****]
Move left (northwest) around the edge of the water until approximately 105m
from CHARLIE. Two paramilitaries will patrol along the dock to the right
(east), but occasionally one or both of them will only stand on the dock to
the northeast. There are four paramilitaries in the boathouse area. There
is a sniper standing on the hill to the left behind the boathouse, but
sometimes he will be inside of the boat launch on the right side near the
water. The second is patrolling on the right side in front of the boathouse
and will also walk counterclockwise around the outside of the boathouse to
the rear. There is also a paramilitary patrolling on the left side near the
water inside of the boat launch. The final one is inside of the room on the
east side of the second floor, currently out of view, along with a radio.
Wait for the paramilitaries patrolling near the dock to be in view and walk
onto the dock. When they do, shoot each of them. Continue along the edge
of the water until approximately 80m from CHARLIE. Use the binoculars or
scope to view the boathouse.
[***** Primary Objective – Infiltrate Boat Launch *****]
Order Bravo to Hold Position. Swim right (east) to the first (north) boat
dock and climb up it. Shoot the paramilitary on the left inside of the boat
launch. The paramilitary in the second floor room should be visible through
the window. DO NOT SHOOT HIM unless you can do it with a single, headshot
since he will trigger the alarm if he is not killed with one shot. Shoot
the paramilitary patrolling on the right side in front of the boathouse when
he is moving left toward the boat launch.
Once both paramilitaries in the lower boathouse area are killed, move along
the dock to CHARLIE.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Cartel Intel *****]
Order Able 2 to Hold Position. Slowly move up the right side of the stairs
and proceed to the right side of the door. Open the door and stay on the
right side. The paramilitary inside may move out of the doorway. Quickly
shoot him if he does. Otherwise, peek left and quickly shoot him before he
uses the radio. Move inside of the room to the radio on the right side.
Point the crosshairs at the radio until the Disable Radio special action
icon is displayed. Select the special action to destroy the radio. (Tip:
The radio can also be destroyed by shooting it.)
(NOTE: The cartel intel can be found in one of the three buildings near the
dock. The actual location is random. Once it is located, the remaining
buildings do not need to be searched or paramilitaries killed.)
If the cartel intel (in a green folder) is on the left side of the table,
pick it up.
Move out of the room and return to the top of the stairs. Locate and shoot
the sniper on the hill behind (northwest) the boathouse. Once the sniper is
killed, go down the stairs. Order Able 2 to Follow.
If the cartel intel has not been located, move to the table next to the wall
to the left (south) of the stairs. Pick up the cartel intel if it is
present.
If the cartel intel has not been found, move southeast up the hill until
reaching the road. Two paramilitaries either will be walking from the right
to the left on the path on the far ledge or be patrolling to the left of the
first building. There are also three paramilitaries in the left (east) room
of the first building and one or two will be visible through the window.
There is also a paramilitary in the right room of the first building and may
be partially visible through the closed door. Shoot the paramilitaries on
the path or left of the building when they are visible. Shoot any of the
paramilitaries in the house that are visible in the window and/or door.
Slowly move across the road to the closest (northwest) corner of the
building, making sure to stay out of view of the window. Continue shooting
any paramilitaries that are visible inside of the house. Move to the right
side of the door and open it. Peek left and shoot any paramilitaries in the
room before being spotted. Face left and move into the doorframe, but not
completely into the room. Peek right and quickly shoot any paramilitaries
in the far room before being spotted. Once all of the paramilitaries are
dead, move to the table in the center of the room and pick up the cartel
intel if it is present. If the cartel intel has not been located, move into
the next room to the table in the corner. Pick up the cartel intel if it is
present.
If the cartel intel has not been found, move to the door on the east wall
and open it. There is a sniper on the ridge to the southwest. Quickly
shoot him before being spotted. If the two paramilitaries that patrol along
the path on the far ledge have not been killed, scan the area for their
location and shoot them. Move west to the north side of the second
building. There are two paramilitaries inside. Move to the left side of
the door and open it. Peek right and quickly shoot any paramilitaries
inside of the room before being spotted. Face left and move into the
doorframe, but not completely into the room. Peek right and shoot any
remaining paramilitaries inside of the room. Go to the table along the
south wall and pick up the cartel intel.
[***** Secondary Objective – Recon Watchtower *****]
Proceed back to the water and swim underwater to Bravo's location. Order
Bravo to Follow. Move along the river until reaching the fork.

When reaching the fork in the river, there is a paramilitary on the far
right (north) path. Move down the left fork and continue following the
river until it widens. Move to the rock on the left (approximately 81m from
DELTA). Use the binoculars or scope to view the watchtower. (Note:
Sometimes the objective will not immediately register even when looking at
the watchtower. If this happens, simply move closer and re-look at it.)
[***** Primary Objective – Infiltrate Watchtower *****]
There is a paramilitary on the upper balcony of the watchtower, but he may
be prone and not visible. Shoot him if he is visible. Move to the path
leading to the watchtower, staying along the right side. Stop when the path
turns right and begins to narrow. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There
are three additional paramilitaries on the exterior of the watchtower. One
is standing on the lower balcony and the remaining two are patrolling in the
area in front of the watchtower or one of them is sometimes inside of the
watchtower. There is an additional paramilitary standing on the far (west)
cliff (difficult to see). Move left until the paramilitary on the lower
balcony is visible. Shoot him and quickly move right to Fireteam's location
since one of the paramilitaries may move to the path to investigate. If he
does, peek left around the rock and quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Crawl along the path until reaching the corner of the watchtower.
[***** Bonus Objective – Destroy Radio Relay *****]
Locate and shoot the paramilitary standing on the far west cliff, being
careful of the remaining paramilitaries still patrolling in front of the
watchtower. Once the paramilitary standing on the far west cliff is dead,
locate and shoot the remaining paramilitaries in front of the watchtower.
Note that you may have to wait for one of them to walk up the right path
toward the watchtower since their patrol route takes them to the water.
Once all of the paramilitaries on the exterior have been shot, move to the
left side of the door. There are two (or three if the third exterior one
was not killed already) paramilitaries on the lower level of the watchtower,
along with a radio. Throw a smoke grenade at the door and quickly move back
to the east wall since one or both of them may move outside. When the smoke
begins to appear, quickly move inside and kill the paramilitaries before the
smoke clears.
Once the paramilitaries are dead, move to the table along the right wall and
point the crosshairs at the radio until the Disable Radio special action
icon is displayed. Select the special action to destroy the radio. (Tip:
The radio can also be destroyed by shooting it.)
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Missing Fireteam *****]
Climb up the ladder to the second floor. CAUTION! If the paramilitary on
the upper balcony has not already been killed, he may see you climb up the
ladder and begin firing. Slowly move toward the door. Use the third person
view to location the paramilitary's location on the balcony. Once located,
peek around the corner and quickly shoot him.
Climb up the ladder to the top floor. Move into the room to the Fireteam
member (Aztec) and restrain him.

Move back to the balcony. Use the binoculars or scope to look at the
sawmill to the north across the water.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Climb down the ladder to the lower balcony. Proceed inside, climb down the
ladder and move outside. Order Fireteam to Follow. Move north to the water
and swim toward ECHO.

Order Bravo to Hold Position. Swim left (southwest) to the path leading up
the hill. Follow the path until reaching the road at the top. Crawl
northwest across the road to the path running parallel to the road. There
are two paramilitaries in the building to the northeast. DO NOT SHOOT THEM!
Crawl up the hill, staying on the left side. Continue crawling north along
the path until reaching the tree stumps. There are two paramilitaries
walking in the area to the far north. Continue crawling until reaching the
fourth stump (with a target on its right side). Stand up, pick up the
sausage on top of the stump and immediately return to the prone position.
[***** Primary Objective – Infiltrate Sawmill *****]
Turn around and crawl along the path back to the road. Crawl southeast
across the road to the path. Move down the path to the water and then swim
northeast to Bravo's location. Order Bravo to Follow and swim north to the
wooden incline leading into the sawmill. When reaching the wooden incline,
swim to the right of the incline and move up the shore until reaching the
wall. Move to the right corner and order Fireteam to Hold Position. There
is a paramilitary patrolling near the larger building to the northeast and
along the path to the east. There are also two standing inside the small
structure to the northeast. Slowly move to the right side of the generator.
Point the crosshairs at the generator until the Pull Lever special action
icon is displayed. Select the special action to turn off the generator (and
thus the lights).
Once the generator has been turned off, shoot the two paramilitaries
standing inside of the small structure. (Tip: Wait to see if they move into
a straight line so that both can be killed with a single headshot.) The
paramilitary patrolling by the larger building to the northeast may move to
investigate. Shoot him if he does. Otherwise, wait for him to be moving
south along the path to the east and shoot him before being spotted.
Order Fireteam to Follow and move northeast to the ramp on the east side of
the sawmill. Move slightly up the ramp.
[***** Primary Objective – Demo Firing Range *****]
Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There are two paramilitaries patrolling in
the area to the far northeast and two more to the north walking right
(east). Slowly move toward the firing range and shoot the paramilitaries in
the northeast area when they are visible. Locate and shoot the two
paramilitaries to the north.
Once all of the paramilitaries are dead, move to the firing range. Point
the crosshairs at the crate until the C4 Charge special action icon is
displayed. Place a C4 charge and quickly move away before the charge
explodes.
[***** Primary Objective – Obtain Underwood's Intel *****]
(NOTE: The intel can be found in one of the four buildings at the sawmill.
The actual location is random. Once it is located, the remaining buildings
do not need to be searched or paramilitaries killed. The actual location is
also marked by a NAV point, except when restarting from the last
checkpoint.)
Return to Fireteam's location and then move east toward the smaller
building. If the intel (in a green folder) is on top of the barrel to the
left of the building's door, pick it up. Move back to Fireteam's location
and order Fireteam to Follow.
If the intel has not been found, move up the ramp inside of the sawmill.
Order Bravo to Hold Position. Move through the small room and then go left
to the stairs. At the top of the stairs, there are two doors along the wall
on the right. There are three paramilitaries in the left room, along with a
radio, and two paramilitaries in the right room. Throw a smoke grenade at
the left door. Be careful since one of the paramilitaries inside of the
room may open the door and move into the hallway. When the smoke appears,
move into the room and quickly shoot the paramilitaries inside.
After the paramilitaries are dead, point the crosshairs at the door on the
right (north) side of the room leading into the next room. Quickly order
Able 2 to Deploy Smoke before the first smoke clears. Be alert since one of
the paramilitaries in the room may open the door. Once the second smoke
appears, move into the room and quickly shoot the paramilitaries inside
before the smoke clears.
Once the paramilitaries have been killed, move back into the first room and
go to the radio on the northwest wall. Point the crosshairs at the radio
until the Disable Radio special action icon is displayed. Select the
special action to destroy the radio. (Tip: The radio can also be destroyed
by shooting it.)
Once the radio has been disabled, move into the next room to the table in
the left (southwest) corner. If the intel (in a green folder) is on the
table, pick it up. Move back into the hallway. There are two
paramilitaries inside of the room across the hall. Throw a smoke grenade at
the door. Be careful since one of the paramilitaries inside of the room may
open the door and move into the hallway. When the smoke appears, move into
the room and quickly shoot the paramilitaries inside.
Move back into the hallway. If the intel has not been found, go back into
the left room. Once inside of the room, move to the right window. There
are two or three paramilitaries in the building to the west (one of them may
be out of view in the alcove on the right side of the building). Shoot the
visible paramilitaries.
Move to the right room and go to the right window. There are two
paramilitaries patrolling near the road to the northwest. Shoot both of
them.
Once both of the paramilitaries are dead, move back into the hallway and
move down the stairs to Bravo's location. Order Bravo to Follow. Proceed
out the left (west) side of the sawmill down the ramp and go toward the next
building. If all of the paramilitaries in the building were not killed
(i.e., one was out of view in the alcove), throw a smoke grenade toward the
alcove. When the smoke begins to appear, quickly move toward the alcove and
kill the paramilitary before the smoke clears. Move into the alcove. If
the intel (in a green folder) is on top of the barrel on the right side,
pick it up.
If the intel has not been found, proceed out the door and move across the
road to the larger building. When reaching the wall, climb up and go to the
left side of the building. Move up the ramp into the building. If the
intel (in a green folder) is on top of the barrels to the left just inside
of the doorway, pick it up.
Once the intel has been retrieved, the mission is complete.

Walkthrough/Strategy:
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
After starting, an enemy patrol boat will move to the northeast, but not see
the team. Get into the CRRC and move east slightly. Move to a non-driver
position. There may be a sniper on one of the left (north) catwalks of the
lighthouse. There is also a paramilitary standing near the AA gun on the
left (north) side of the lighthouse. Shoot the sniper if he is visible and
then shoot the paramilitary by the AA gun.
Travel south until receiving the out of bounds warning. Once this happens,
turn left (east) until the AA gun on the right side of the lighthouse is in
view. There are two paramilitaries standing near the AA gun. Shoot both of
them.
Once both of the paramilitaries have been shot, if the sniper on the catwalk
was not killed earlier, he will be by the northeast corner of the lower
catwalk, possibly prone. Continue east until he is in view and then shoot
him.
Another paramilitary may exit through the door onto the top catwalk. If he
does, quickly shoot him before being spotted.
If the paramilitary does not appear on the top catwalk, order Fireteam to
Fire At Will. Drive the boat northwest until reaching the embankment
leading to the lighthouse. If the paramilitary appears on the top catwalk,
Fireteam will shoot him. (Tip: Stopping the boat will help Fireteam to kill
the paramilitary quickly.) Once he is dead, order Fireteam to Hold Fire.
After reaching the embankment, proceed up it to the ledge. Go left around
the ledge and move to the left side of the door (which should be closed).
There is one paramilitary inside of the room and he will also move up and
back down the stairs on the right side of the room. Point the crosshairs at
the door and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, open the
door and move inside of the room. Locate and kill the paramilitary before
the smoke clears.
Once the paramilitary is dead, pick up the sausage on the left side of the
shelf immediately inside of the door to the left.
[***** Crosstalk Objective – Obtains Battle Plans *****]
Move across the room to the stairs. Quietly move up the stairs and stop
when reaching the top of the first flight. Quickly pick up the battle plans
on top of the crate directly ahead and move back to the top of the stairs,
out of view of the hallway and door on the left side of the hallway.
[***** Primary Objective – Destroy Communications *****]
Point the crosshairs at the ground in front of the crates where the battle
plans were at and order Bravo to Move To. Once they have arrived, point the
crosshairs at the ground at the end of the hallway and order Bravo to Cover
Target. Order Able 2 to Hold Position and slowly move along the hallway to
the doorway on the left, watching the ledge above since there are two
paramilitaries there. Go through the door and turn right (west). Be sure
to watch the upper catwalk for the sniper if he has not already been killed.
Move around the catwalk until reaching the ladder. When reaching the
ladder, climb up it and move around the catwalk to the door on the south
side. Peek to the right of the door since one of the paramilitaries is
sometimes to the right of the door. Peek left and shoot him if he is there.
Crawl through the door and continue crawling until reaching the ledge.
There are two paramilitaries on the ledge below (the same two being watched
for when moving onto the catwalk). Throw a grenade over the ledge.
Once both paramilitaries are dead, order Bravo to Hold Fire and Fireteam to
Follow. Move up the stairs to the top floor. Point the crosshairs at the
radio until the Disable Radio special action icon is displayed. Select the
special action to destroy the radio. (Tip: The radio can also be destroyed
by shooting it.)

Proceed down the stairs to the bottom and exit the lighthouse. Go to the AA
gun on the east side. Point the crosshairs at the AA gun and order Fireteam
to Place C4. Move to the AA gun on the north side, point the crosshairs at
it and order Fireteam to Place C4.

Move back to the CRRC. Proceed north to the left side of the small island.
There are two paramilitaries walking along the right path on the beach at
ECHO. There is also sometimes a paramilitary in the watchtower. Change to
a non-driver seat and shoot the paramilitary in the watchtower if he is
there.
Continue northwest until reaching the cliff, making sure to stay out of view
of the paramilitaries near ECHO. Dismount the boat and move right along the
edge of the water to the beach.

Peek right and shoot each paramilitary when he is in view on the path.
Point the crosshairs at the path where it turns left and order Bravo to Move
To. Climb up the ledge on the left. Follow the cliff until the camp is in
sight. A paramilitary may be in the closest watchtower. Shoot him if he
is. Continue along the cliff until just passing the patch of short grass.
Shoot the paramilitary in the watchtower to the northwest.
Continue along the rock until reaching the top of the incline. There is a
single paramilitary patrolling on the ledge to the west. Quickly shoot him
before being spotted.
Once the paramilitary is dead, move down the ledge to the large rock. Move
to the left side of the rock. A paramilitary will either be in front (north
side) of the barracks on the right or just inside of the door of the small
building to the northeast (currently out of view). Shoot him if he is in
front of the barracks. Slowly move east until the watchtower to the far
east is in view. If there was not a paramilitary in the first watchtower,
he will be in the far east watchtower. Shoot him if he is present.
Move right (southeast) behind the barracks on the right and continue along
the back of the barracks until reaching the east corner. If the
paramilitary was not killed in front of the barracks, he will be standing
just inside of the door of the small building to the northeast. Shoot him
before being spotted.
Move east until reaching the path. Order Able 2 to Hold Position. There is
a paramilitary in the far (west) barracks, sometimes visible in the doorway.
There is also a paramilitary in the barracks on the left (south), in the
area just to the right or left of the door. There is also a rebel fighter
in each of the barracks. Face east and move right until one of the
paramilitaries is visible. Quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Continue moving right until the other paramilitary is visible (if possible)
and shoot him before being spotted. Order Able 2 to Follow. If the enemy
in the left barracks has not been killed, move to the left side of the door.
Point the crosshairs at the stairs and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When
the smoke begins to appear, move into the barracks, locate and kill the
paramilitary. Be careful to not kill the rebel fighter since the mission
will be a failure if he is killed. If the enemy in the far barracks has not
been killed, slowly move to the left side of the door. While moving toward
the door, watch the area inside of the room to the right of the door for the
paramilitary. Shoot him if he is visible. After reaching the door, point
the crosshairs at the stairs and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the
smoke begins to appear, move into the barracks, locate and kill the
paramilitary. Be careful to not kill the rebel fighter since the mission
will be a failure if he is killed.
Once both paramilitaries are dead, order Bravo to Follow and move to the
first barracks. Move inside of the building and go to the rebel fighter in
the left room or to the left of the door. Order Fireteam to Restrain. Exit
the building and go northwest to the second barracks. Move to inside and go
to the rebel fighter to the right of the door. Order Fireteam to Restrain.
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Guard House *****]
Exit the barracks, go left and stop when reaching the corner. A sniper
sometimes will walk out of the door onto the balcony on the top floor of the
building to the northwest. He will then walk back into the room. Wait
until he exits the room and is walking to the right and when he does, shoot
him.
Move north until the enemy boat is in view, making sure to approach it from
the rear. Shoot the paramilitary at the wheel of the boat.
Move west to the small, wooden bridge. Cross the bridge and move up the
hill to the left side of the right door. DO NOT shoot any paramilitaries
that are visible in the room or the alarm will be triggered. Order Fireteam
to Hold Position. There is a paramilitary either standing on the left side
of the room or inside of the adjoining room. Point the crosshairs into the
room and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke begins to appear,
move into the room and kill the paramilitary if he is in the room before the
smoke clears.
Throw a smoke grenade into the adjoining room. When it begins to appear,
move into the room and shoot the paramilitary by the far right corner. Once
he is dead, quickly move across the room to the door on the left side. Go
into the hallway and quickly shoot the paramilitary in the hallway before
the smoke clears.
Once the paramilitaries are dead, order Fireteam to Follow. Move back into
the large room and go to the door in the far right corner. Proceed through
the door, staying on the right side. Move up the stairs until they turn
right. There are five paramilitaries on the top floor. Three are in the
two rooms to the left (southwest). Another paramilitary is either on the
balcony directly ahead (west), inside of the room to the right at the top of
the stairs or inside of the far right (northwest) room. The last
paramilitary is usually moving between rooms. If the sniper did not walk
onto the balcony earlier, he will also be on the top floor, usually on the
west balcony. The missing Fireteam member (Wingtip) will also be inside one
of the rooms. Be careful that he is not killed since it will cause a
mission failure. Point the crosshairs at the stairs where they turn right
and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move to the top
of the stairs. Quickly shoot any paramilitary in the open area of the floor
and in the room to the right. Quickly throw a smoke grenade toward the room
to the southwest with two paramilitaries and throw another smoke grenade
toward the far right (northwest) before the first smoke clears. Once the
floor is filled with smoke, very quickly move to each of the southwest room
and kill any paramilitaries inside of it. Quickly move into the far west
room and kill any paramilitaries inside. If the sniper did not walk onto
the balcony earlier, move onto the west balcony, locate and shoot him before
the smoke clears.
[***** Bonus Objective – Destroy Cargo Transport (available only if alarm
has not been triggered) *****]
Order Bravo to Hold Position. Move back down the stairs and go out the
south door of the building. Go across the wooden bridge and go east until
reaching the enemy boat. Point the crosshairs at the boat and order Able 2
to Takedown. Jester will shoot the boat with the M3.
(Alternate strategy: Select the M3 instead of smoke when choosing weapons.
After completing the Demo AA Guns primary objective, drive the boat east and
then north around the island. Be cautious of the two paramilitaries
standing at the top of the hill on the path leading west from the east side
of the island. Continue driving the boat to the west side of the island.
Shoot the paramilitary in the watchtower if he is present. Equip the M3 and
shoot the enemy boat. Note that Jester will not shoot from the CRRC, even
when close to the enemy boat.)

Move south to the path and continue south to the rear of the vehicle depot
building. Move to the far, right (southwest) corner. There is a
paramilitary standing by the front, right (southeast) corner of the building
and another paramilitary patrolling south of the building and he will then
walk east toward the dock. There is also a sniper patrolling on the ridge
to the far southeast. Peek around the corner, shoot the paramilitary
standing by the building corner and then quickly shoot the patrolling
paramilitary before being spotted since he will move to investigate the
first paramilitary being killed. Shoot the sniper on the southeast ridge.
Once all three of the paramilitaries are dead, move east to the front, right
(southeast) corner of the building. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There
is a paramilitary walking on the far (east) side of the dock to the east.
There may also be two paramilitaries standing together on the near (west)
side of the dock. Shoot the standing paramilitaries (if they are present)
and then shoot the patrolling paramilitary.
Once the paramilitaries on the dock have been killed, move north into the
vehicle depot. Place a satchel at the barrels by the door. Return to the
southeast corner and order Fireteam to Follow. Begin moving east along the
dock toward the forklift.
[***** Secondary Objective – Obtain Shipping Manifest *****]
When reaching the forklift, order Bravo to Hold Position. If the
paramilitaries were not standing on the near side of the dock, they may be
standing together inside of the open shelter to the northeast. There is
also a mercenary standing in the shelter. Shoot as many of the enemies in
the shelter as possible. Do not worry if not all of them are killed yet.
Proceed southeast to the right side of the warehouse door and order Able 2
to Hold Position. Crawl east past the door to the building corner. There
is a sniper on the ridge to the southeast. If the paramilitaries were not
standing on the near side of the dock and they were not standing inside of
the open shelter to the northeast, they will be standing together by the
east wall of the building. Peek left around the corner and shoot the two
paramilitaries standing by the wall (if present). Peek left around the
corner and shoot the sniper on the ridge before being spotted.
There are three paramilitaries inside of the warehouse. Two of them are on
the ground floor and the third is on either the left or right catwalk. Move
through the door and continue until reaching the far edge of the blue
crates. While moving toward the blue crates, look at the left catwalk and
at the catwalk directly overhead and shoot the paramilitary on the catwalk
if he is visible. Use the third person view to locate as many of the
remaining paramilitaries as possible. If possible, peek left around the
blue crate and shoot any paramilitary that is in view. If one or more of
the paramilitaries are out of view, throw a smoke grenade toward the left
wall. Once the room is filled with smoke, move around the crates, locate
the paramilitaries and quickly shoot each of them before the smoke clears.
Once the warehouse is clear of paramilitaries, move to the table along the
right (north) wall and pick up the shipping manifest (in a green folder).

Move back to the door used to enter the warehouse and order Able 2 to
Follow. (NOTE: Instead of moving directly to you, Jester will run through
the warehouse to the door. Wait for him to arrive before moving.) If not
all of the paramilitaries in the open shelter have been killed, turn right
and stop at the corner. Move south along the warehouse wall. When reaching
the cliff, go east until directly south of the small building near the open
shelter. Move north to the right corner of the building and order Able 2 to
Hold Position. Move right until the remaining paramilitaries in the open
shelter are visible and quickly shoot them before being spotted.
Order Able 2 to Follow and move to the forklift on the dock near where Bravo
is holding. When reaching the forklift, order Able 2 to Hold Position.
There is a paramilitary on the lower section of the dock to the right. If
the Destroy Cargo Transport bonus objective was not completed in the Broken
Chains mission, the cargo transport will be in the lower section of the
dock. However, if stealth is not maintained in the mission, the
paramilitary will get into the cargo transport and drive away, causing the
objective to not be able to be completed. Face east, move left and shoot
the paramilitary when he is visible.
Once the paramilitary is dead, order Fireteam to Follow. Move east until
reaching the ladder leading to the lower dock. If the Destroy Cargo
Transport bonus objective was not completed in the Broken Chains mission,
point the crosshairs at the enemy boat and order Able 2 to Takedown.
Otherwise, the weapons crates are yellow, wooden crates located on the lower
dock. Point the crosshairs at the crates and order Able 2 to Place Satchel.

The heroin crates (black with a crab symbol on the side) are located in one
of three random areas. The possible locations are on the west section of
the dock, inside of the open shelter in the northeast area and outside of
the warehouse along the rear (east) wall. Locate and move to the heroin
crates. (Tip: The location is wherever the two paramilitaries were standing
together.) Point the crosshairs at the crates and order Able 2 to Place
Satchel. Begin moving east to the path leading up the mountain.

Proceed up the path, staying on the left side near the cliff. When reaching
the top of the mountain, move toward the entrance and stop when reaching the
last patch of grass. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There are five
paramilitaries standing inside of the entrance and only one may be in view.
Shoot the paramilitary that is in view (if any). Point the crosshairs at
the concrete barricade and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke
begins to appear, quickly move around the concrete barricade into the
entrance. Quickly locate and shoot the paramilitaries inside before the
smoke clears.
Once all of the paramilitaries are dead, go to the door in the far right
(southwest) corner. Follow the hallway until reaching the room with the
tiled floor.

Follow the hallway south past JULIET until reaching the door leading into
the large, open area. There are two paramilitaries patrolling inside of the
door to the right. Point the crosshairs at the floor to your left and order
Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the area is filled with smoke, move through
the door and shoot the two paramilitaries before the smoke clears.
Once both of the paramilitaries are dead, move south along the left wall
until reaching the light brown barrel. Turn left and go east until reaching
the dark brown barrel. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. Get into the prone
position and face north. There is a paramilitary in the far right
(northeast) corner and one in the far left (northwest) corner of the next
room. Crawl right and shoot the paramilitary in the far right corner when
he is in view. Continue crawling right until the second paramilitary is in
view. (Note: You may need to move ahead in order to see him.) Quickly
shoot him before being spotted.
Once both paramilitaries have been killed, order Fireteam to Follow. Move
to the chemical weapons (in a greenish colored container) directly behind
your current location in the center of the center area. Point the
crosshairs at the container until the Place Marker special action icon is
displayed. Select the special action to place the marker (marker 1 of 3).
Move north into the next room and go to the chemical weapons along the north
wall. Point the crosshairs at the container until the Place Marker special
action icon is displayed. Select the special action to place the marker
(marker 2 of 3).
Proceed back to the doorway leading into the center area. After passing
through it, turn left and move along the wall until reaching the doorway
leading to the east room (by the forklift). Order Fireteam to Hold
Position. There are three paramilitaries in the east room. One of them is
either standing in the southwest section by a support beam or on the metal
grate in the center of the room, one of them is standing on the north side
of the crates at the bottom of the ramp (he may be out of view) and the last
one is standing in the second floor room in the southeast corner. Crawl
east toward the railing. Check if the paramilitary is standing on the metal
grate in the center of the room. If he is, throw a smoke grenade into the
center of the room. When the smoke appears, crawl to the edge and shoot the
paramilitary. Quickly move to the bottom of the ramp and around the blue
crates. Quickly locate the paramilitary and shoot him before the smoke
clears.
If the paramilitary is not standing on the metal grate, face east and crawl
left until past the railing. Face right (south) and lean left over the
edge. Shoot the paramilitary standing in the southwest area. Slowly move
to the bottom of the ramp, but do not pass the blue crates. Throw a smoke
grenade toward the blue, steel door to the northeast. Once the area is
filled with smoke, move around the crates, locate the paramilitary and
quickly shoot him before the smoke clears.
Order Able 2 to Follow and move southeast across the floor to the stairs
leading to the second floor. Once Jester has regrouped, order Able 2 to
Hold Position. Point the crosshairs at the room door and order Able 2 to
Deploy Smoke. Once the area is filled with smoke, quickly move up the
stairs, locate the paramilitary in the room and shoot him before the smoke
clears.
Once the paramilitary is dead, move into the room to the table in the far
left corner. Pick up the storage log (in a green folder) on the table.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Climb onto the filing cabinets along the left wall and climb through the
ceiling into the maintenance tunnel. Move through the tunnel until reaching
another tunnel on the left. Continue straight until reaching the green
pipes on the right wall. Pickup the sausage located on the ground to the
right of the pipes.
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Storage Facility *****]
Move back east through the tunnel until reaching the grate and jump into the
room. Proceed down the stairs to Jester's location. Order Able 2 to
Follow. Move northwest to the ramp and proceed up the ramp. (Note: Two
paramilitaries will sometimes "appear" in the north section near the ramp
when moving up it. However, this does not seem to occur if Bravo stays in
the center area.) When reaching the top, move to the left side by the blue
crates. Move along the blue crates until the two doors in the south wall
are visible. Order Bravo to Follow. Quietly move to the left door. There
is sometimes a paramilitary near the hallway in the far left corner of the
room. If there is, point the crosshairs inside of the room and order Bravo
1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move into the room and kill the
paramilitary.
If the paramilitary is not near the hallway or once he has been killed, move
into the room and to the hallway in the far left corner. Proceed down the
hall until it turns right. There is a paramilitary standing at the top of
the ramp. If the paramilitary was not near the hallway, he will also be
standing at the top of the ramp. Point the crosshairs at the left wall at
the bottom of the ramp and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the area is
filled with smoke, quickly move around the corner and any the paramilitaries
standing at the top of the ramp before the smoke clears.
[***** Primary Objective – Mark Chemical Weapons *****]
Move to the top of the ramp at LIMA. Proceed down the tunnel to the left.
Follow the tunnel until reaching the top of the incline after the tunnel
turns left (approximately 20m from KILO). Order Fireteam to Hold Position
and Fireteam to Fire At Will. There is a paramilitary standing in the door
by KILO, looking west. There is also a paramilitary to the right of the
door and another in the distance to the southwest. Throw a smoke grenade
toward the east wall. Once the room fills with smoke, quickly move to the
chemical weapons in the right corner of the wall. Point the crosshairs at
the container until the Place Marker special action icon is displayed.
Select the special action to place the marker (marker 3 of 3). Quickly move
back to Fireteam's location before the smoke clears in case the paramilitary
enters through the door. Once the final marker has been placed, the mission
is complete.

Walkthrough/Strategy:
[***** Secondary Objective – Secure Terrace Farms *****]
Get into the RST-V and drive west along the road until reaching the west
side of the terrace farms (approximately 120m from ECHO). Get out of the
vehicle and move to the right side of the path leading to the terrace farm.
There is a paramilitary patrolling near the furthest building on the left.
There is also a paramilitary patrolling either between the buildings on the
left or in the area to the right near the river. Shoot the paramilitary
patrolling near the furthest building. Shoot the remaining paramilitary
when he is in view. If he does not come into view, continue but be alert
for his location (use the compass and listen for Fireteam's warnings).
The rebel fighter (Badger) is being held in one of the three buildings in
the terrace farm, along with two paramilitaries in his room. The actual
building they are in is random. If one of the paramilitaries is visible in
the first building's window, shoot him. Slowly move to the left (northwest)
side of the first building. Proceed northeast along the building and if one
of the paramilitaries is visible in the second building's window, shoot him.
When reaching the corner of the building, turn right and go to the next
corner. Turn right and stop at the door. Slowly enter and use the third
person view to see if the paramilitaries are in the room to the left. If
not, exit the building and go northeast to the second building. Continue
moving and when the door is visible, climb up the ledge. Move inside and
turn left. Move right and use the third person view to see if the
paramilitaries are inside of the next room. If not, exit the building and
go southeast toward the right side of the third building. Move along the
wall until reaching the door. Move inside and turn left. Move right and
use the third person view to see if the paramilitaries are inside of the
next room. Once the room with the paramilitaries is found, point the
crosshairs into the room and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the room
is filled with smoke, move into it and shoot the two paramilitaries before
the smoke clears. Be careful to not kill Badger since the mission will be a
failure if he is killed.

Move to Badger and restrain him.

Move west through the terrace farm back to the RST-V. Drive along the road
to ECHO and continue driving into the tunnel.

Continue driving until the road turns right. Get out and move to the ledge
overlooking the village. There is a paramilitary standing on top of the
roof in the center, another patrolling along the left (northeast) and
closest (northwest) walls of the building directly below and two standing by
the bridge to the east. Shoot the paramilitary patrolling by the building
directly below the ledge when he is walking along the closest wall. Shoot
the paramilitary standing on the center roof and then shoot the
paramilitaries standing by the bridge.
Once all of the paramilitaries have been shot, get back into the RST-V.
Continue driving along the road until reaching the lone tree on the left.
Get out of the vehicle and move to the ledge overlooking the village. A
paramilitary may be patrolling between the two buildings directly below.
Wait to see if he appears between the buildings and then shoot him if he
does.
Move back to the RST-V and continue driving along the road until reaching
the T intersection. Get out of the vehicle and go left to the bushes
between the two trees. There may be a paramilitary standing on the left
side of the road by the bridge to the east and two standing in the road
after crossing the bridge. Shoot the paramilitary standing on the left side
of the road (if he is present) and then the two in the road.
Once all the paramilitaries by the bridge have been killed, get back into
the RST-V. Turn left at the T intersection and when reaching the fork in
the road, go left. Continue driving along the road until it begins to curve
right for the second time (southeast). Slowly move up the incline toward
the building. The remaining Fireteam member (Vandal) is in one of the rooms
in the building, along with two paramilitaries. If the paramilitary was not
patrolling between the two buildings at the second overlook point, he will
also be in the building. There is also a paramilitary on the second floor.
At the top of the incline, order Fireteam to Hold Position. Point the
crosshairs at the door and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the room is
filled with smoke, move into it the building, turn right and go into the
room. Locate and shoot the paramilitaries in the bottom floor rooms.
Quickly move back to the stairs in the first room. Go up the stairs to the
second floor. Quickly locate the paramilitary either at the top of the
stairs or in the room to the left. Shoot him before the smoke clears.
Once the paramilitaries have been killed, move back down to the first floor
to Vandal's location and restrain him.

Move back to the stairs in the first room. Go up the stairs and when
reaching the top, turn left and go into the next room. Move to the door in
the southwest corner. Exit the door, turn left and immediately get into the
prone position. There is a paramilitary on the roof in the distance to the
south. There may also be a paramilitary standing by the bridge to the east.
There may be one or two paramilitaries in the river below or on the south
bank. (Note: These paramilitaries can be at random locations in the village
so you need to stay alert until they have been killed). Shoot the
paramilitary standing on the roof to the south. Peek right and shoot the
paramilitary standing by the bridge to the east if he is present. Crawl
ahead to the edge of the balcony. If either of the paramilitaries is on the
south bank or in the river, shoot them.
Go back into the room, turn left and move to the door. Proceed down the
stairs. Look to the east. The paramilitary leader (Mongoose) may be
walking in and out of the door to the roof of the building to the east.
Shoot him if he is visible. Be alert since one of the random location
paramilitaries may appear on the north side of the building.
Order Fireteam to Follow and get back into the RSV-T. Turn around and drive
southwest until reaching the T intersection. Go left and continue until
reaching the center of the bridge. Get out and move to the right side of
the road. Move along the right side of the road until it begins to curve
left. If there were no paramilitaries shot in the river, stay alert since
one of them may be on the southwest side of the village. Shoot him if he is
seen. There is a paramilitary walking along the road. Wait for him to be
walking on the road toward you and quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Move across the road and go up the path leading to the house. Go to the
right side of the house and continue until reaching the wooden stairs.
Order Fireteam to Hold Position. If there were no paramilitaries shot in
the river, one of them may be on the east side of the building. Peek right
and shoot him if he is visible.
Move up the stairs and go to the left side of the door. A paramilitary may
be on the left side of the room or inside of the room to the right of the
door. Point the crosshairs into the room and throw a smoke grenade. Once
the room fills with smoke, move into the room, locate the paramilitary and
shoot him before the smoke clears.
Move across the room to the stairs leading to the second floor. When
reaching the top, there is either a paramilitary in the room. Mongoose will
also be in the room if he was not killed earlier (you will hear him talking
while moving up the stairs). Throw a smoke grenade into the room. Once the
room fills with smoke, move into the room and shoot the paramilitary and
Mongoose (if he is present) before the smoke clears.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Move back down the stairs, exit the building and go down the stairs. Order
Fireteam to Follow and move northeast along the road. When reaching the
fork in the road, go left. Continue until reaching the first tree on the
right. Move northeast between the cliff and the building. Continue past
all of the buildings and go up the path along the cliff. When reaching the
fork in the path, go left and climb up the ledge to the right. Follow the
ledge to the path leading between the mountains. Proceed along the path to
where two rebel fighters are standing. Do NOT shoot them! Pick up the
sausage in the barrel on the left side of the path.
[***** Bonus Objective – Demo Control Tower *****]
Follow the path to the end and climb down the ledges to the road. Go right
and move along the right side of the road. Continue along the road until
reaching the brown bushes at the top of the hill. There are two
paramilitaries standing side-by-side near the machine gun turret on the left
side of the airstrip directly ahead. Shoot the paramilitary on the right.
The remaining paramilitary will move to the machine gun turret and man it.
Shoot the second paramilitary before being spotted.
Once both paramilitaries are dead, move east across the road until reaching
the machine gun turret. Move to the left side of it. There is a
paramilitary standing on the runway to the southeast. Move left and shoot
him when he is in view.
Turn right and go to the left side of the hangar door. There is a single
paramilitary standing to the left inside of the hangar. Throw a smoke
grenade into the room. Once the room is filled with smoke, move through the
door and shoot the paramilitary before the smoke clears.
Once the paramilitary has been killed, move out of the hangar through the
north door. Go east along the outside of the hangar and continue across the
runway until reaching the trees. Turn right and move along the cliff until
the control tower is in view. There is a paramilitary standing outside on
the right side of the second floor and a paramilitary standing in the runway
to the south. There is also a paramilitary inside of the building on the
opposite side of the runway (out of view) and two standing down the hill to
the far south (also out of view) near a machine gun turret. Shoot the
paramilitary standing on the control tower and then shoot the paramilitary
standing on the runway. One of the two paramilitaries out of view to the
south may move to investigate the runway paramilitary being killed. Shoot
him if he does.
Begin moving south toward the control tower. Look right at the building
across the runway and when the paramilitary inside of the building is in
view, quickly shoot him before being spotted. When reaching the control
tower, move to the wall closest to the runway (west). Place a satchel by
the wall. Move north until reaching the first electric pole.

Move southwest across the runway to the small building. Go to the left side
of the door on the right (north) wall. If the paramilitary inside was not
killed, point the crosshairs into the room and order Fireteam to Deploy
Smoke. Once the room is filled with smoke, move into it and shoot the
paramilitary before the smoke clears.
Order Fireteam to Hold Position and go to the left side of the far (south)
door. Get into the prone position. Peek right and shoot the remaining
paramilitaries standing to the south. Once all of the paramilitaries have

Walkthrough/Strategy:
[***** Bonus Objective – Destroy Troop Transport *****]
Slowly move northwest until the bridge ahead is seen (approximately 84m from
CHARLIE). There are two paramilitaries on the far end of the bridge and
they will begin walking on it. There is also a tower building at the far
left corner of the bridge with three and possibly four paramilitaries around
it or in it. The first paramilitary is either standing on the roof or
inside of the room on the third floor (possibly out of view). There is also
another one walking in and out of the door on the second floor. There is
also a paramilitary patrolling around the perimeter on the right side of the
building and another one possibly patrolling around the perimeter or
standing on the left side of the building. Shoot the rear paramilitary on
the bridge and then shoot the one in front. Shoot the paramilitary on the
roof or third floor (depending on where he is at) and then shoot the
paramilitary on the second floor. Shoot the paramilitary patrolling on the
right side perimeter and then shoot the one on the left side (if he is
there). Note that after the first one is killed, the others will randomly
move around the building area. If necessary, move left (west) to get a
clear shot of any remaining paramilitaries.
Once all of the visible paramilitaries around the building are dead, move to
the left side of the bridge and cross it. If not all of the paramilitaries
in the building were killed, proceed with caution across the bridge and
shoot any of them that may appear. After crossing the bridge, there is a
rock with a path around it on the right side of the road. There may be a
paramilitary on the path behind the rock, either standing still or walking.
Wait to see if he briefly moves to the left side of the rock. If he does,
quickly shoot him before being spotted. Otherwise, slowly continue moving
along the road and if he becomes visible, shoot him. In addition, if not
all of the paramilitaries around the building were killed, one of them may
be on the path on the left leading to the building. Slowly move along the
road and shoot him if he is visible.
Continue moving along the left side of the road, staying next to the cliff,
until passing the side road on the right. There are four paramilitaries
near the barricade on the left side of the side road. Two of them are
behind the nearest barricade and the other two are manning the machine guns
on the small hill to the left of the road. Continue moving north along the
road until passing the tree. Move across the road to the path leading
between the rocks and move up the hill. When reaching the top, point the
crosshairs at the ground at the recess on the right and order Fireteam to
Move To. Shoot the paramilitary on the left side behind the barricade and
then quickly shoot the one on the right before being spotted. Crawl forward
and to the right until the far paramilitary manning the machine gun is in
view. Shoot him before being seen. Continue crawling right until the
remaining paramilitary manning the machine gun is seen and shoot him before
being spotted.
Once all of the paramilitaries are killed, move east until approximately 25m
from DELTA. When reaching this point, the troop transport (with a driver
and a gunner) will begin approaching from the east along the road. (Tip:
Use the TACMAP to determine when the vehicle begins approaching from its
starting location at the intersection to the east across the bridge.)
IMMEDIATELY turn around, go behind the barricade on the right (north) side
of the road and face west. Remain hidden behind the barricade until the
troop transport has passed (you will not be seen if you remain crouched
behind the barricade). Equip the AT-4 and shoot the transport when it is
close to the intersection. (Tip: Be sure that it is far enough away before
shooting or you could be injured.)
[***** Primary Objective – Infiltrate Training Camp *****]
[***** Secondary Objective – Maintain Stealth (if not seen) *****]
Order Fireteam to Follow and move east along the right side of the road
until reaching the path leading down to the river. Slowly move down the
path. A paramilitary may be patrolling on the opposite bank of the river.
If he is, quickly shoot him before being spotted. If the paramilitary is
not on the riverbank, continue along the path until reaching the rock where
the path forks. The paramilitary will be standing on the opposite riverbank
to the far right (south). Shoot him before being spotted.
Move down the left fork and continue into the river. Go left in the river
and proceed until it begins to widen. A paramilitary will either be
standing on the right bank, standing on the left bank (hard to see) or
patrolling between the two banks. Locate and quickly shoot him before being
spotted.
Once the paramilitary is dead, move to the right bank and proceed along the
rock on the left side until reaching the narrow path between the rock and
training camp wall. Two paramilitaries will be walking along the wall near
the northeast corner. Peek right around the corner and watch the
paramilitaries. When they are walking away, quickly move right and shoot
them both before being spotted.
Move along the wall until reaching the northeast corner. Go right and
continue to the door at FOXTROT. Open the door and go through it.

(NOTE: The arms intel can be found in either the tower building in the
southwest corner or in one of the two buildings on the east side of the
camp. The actual location is random.)
After entering the training camp, turn right and go to the corner of the
building. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There may be one and possibly
two paramilitaries on the semicircle road in the middle of the camp.
Sometimes they are both walking along the road and sometimes one of them
will stand near the right (northeast) corner of the long building in the
center of the camp. There may also be a paramilitary by the left (south)
side of the building and two additional paramilitaries standing near the
south side of the obstacle course in the middle of the camp. Throw a smoke
grenade toward the outer wall to the right. Once the smoke appears, quickly
move around the corner and move to the front corner. Quickly shoot the
paramilitaries on the semicircle road if they are present before the smoke
clears. (Tip: The smoke is used since without it, the second paramilitary
will almost immediately see you after the first one has been shot.)
Move to the rear of the building where Fireteam is holding. Point the
crosshairs at the ground near the northeast corner of the building and order
Bravo 1 to Move To. Move the crosshairs slightly to the left and order
Bravo 2 to Move To. The idea is for Bravo to be in a position to cover the
door at FOXTROT. Order Able 2 to Follow. Once the entire team is inside,
close the door. There is a paramilitary either inside of the building to
the right or inside of the building in the opposite (southeast) corner of
the camp. Order Bravo to Fire At Will. Point the crosshairs at the ground
just south of the current building and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke.
Quickly point the crosshairs at the ground to the south between the two
buildings and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Once both smokes are deployed,
point the crosshairs at the door at FOXTROT and order Bravo to Cover Target.
A paramilitary may move through the door later and Bravo will kill him if he
does. Once the first smoke begins to appear, move around the building to
the door on the south side and open the door. Shoot the paramilitary if he
is in the room. Begin moving south between the buildings. If the
paramilitary was not in the first building, shoot him through the left
window of the second building when he is visible. Quickly continue moving
south to the rear of the second building before the smoke clears.
After reaching the rear of the second building, move to the far corner.
Face right (west) and get into the prone position. Peek left and shoot the
two paramilitaries standing near the obstacle course on the left (south)
side of the camp. There is also a sniper on the roof of the building to the
southwest. Shoot him if he is visible.
Point the crosshairs at the ground near the front corner of the building and
order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins to appear, move west
past the building. Quickly locate and shoot the paramilitary randomly
moving around in the center area of the camp (if he is present) before the
smoke clears.
Enter the building through the door on the west side. If the arms intel (in
a green folder) is on the center of the table along the east wall, pick it
up. Move out of the building. If the sniper on the roof of the southwest
building has not already been killed, shoot him if he is now in view.
Turn left and move to the rear of the building. Move north along the camp's
exterior wall until reaching the first building. Point the crosshairs at
the door at FOXTROT and order Able 2 to Cover Target. Enter the first
building through the door on the south side. If the arms intel (in a green
folder) has not already been found and is on the center of the table along
the north wall, pick it up.
Move out of the building, turn left and go to the rear of the building.
Move to the right (north) side of the building. Order Fireteam to Hold Fire
and Fireteam to Follow. Point the crosshairs at the small hill leading to
the long building in the center of the camp (approximately 35m away). Order
Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins to appear, move across the
area until reaching the long building. Point the crosshairs at the ground
by the second window from the right, order Bravo to Move To and Able 2 to
Move To. Be sure the entire team is out of view of the camp's gate to the
right of the long building. Locate and shoot the sniper on the ridge
outside of the camp to the south.
Move to the right corner of the long building. Two paramilitaries may be
patrolling along the road on the outside of the camp between the north and
south gates. There are also two paramilitaries inside of the long building,
one on the first floor and one on the second floor (who may move down the
southeast stairs to the first floor). In addition, the mercenary is also
inside of the building on the second floor. Peek right around the corner to
see if the paramilitaries are outside of the gate. If they are not in view,
throw a smoke grenade through the first window on the right. Once the smoke
begins to appear, enter the building through the door on the north side.
Locate and kill any paramilitaries on the first floor. Exit the building
before the smoke clears. If not, stay out of view of the south door while
exiting or you may be spotted by the paramilitary at the southwest building.
After leaving the building, move back to the east wall where Fireteam is
holding. Order Fireteam to Follow and move south until reaching the
building corner. If a paramilitary did not come through the door at FOXTROT
while it was being covered earlier, be careful since he may be moving in the
east section of the camp. When reaching the corner, order Bravo to Hold
Position. Point the crosshairs at the road to the south and order Bravo 1
to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins to appear, begin moving across the
road toward the metal stairs leading to the building. If one or both of the
paramilitaries on the road outside of the gate are visible, shoot him. Move
up the stairs to the left side of the building's door. There is a
paramilitary inside of the room. Throw a smoke grenade into the room. Once
the room is filled with smoke, move into the room and kill the paramilitary.
Once the paramilitary has been killed, move to the lever to the left (west)
of the door. Point the crosshairs at the lever until the Pull Lever special
action icon is displayed. Pull the lever to close the camp's main gates.
If the arms intel (in a green folder) has not already been found, pick it up
on the center of the table along the east wall.
[***** Primary Objective – Demo Arms Deal Supplies *****]
Point the crosshairs at the main gate and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke.
Once the smoke begins to appear, quickly move to the arms deal supplies at
the bottom of the metal stairs and point the crosshairs at the supplies
until the C4 Charge special action icon is displayed. Place a C4 charge and
quickly move north into the long building through the large south door
before the charge explodes and the smoke clears.
[***** Primary Objective – Capture Mercenary *****]
Move to the top of the stairs in the southeast corner. The mercenary is at
the north end of the room, along with a paramilitary if he was not killed
earlier. Throw a smoke grenade toward the south wall. Once the room begins
to fill with smoke, move into the room and shoot the paramilitary if he is
present. Do NOT shoot the mercenary or the mission will be a failure! Move
to the mercenary and rifle butt him to force him to surrender. Once he
surrenders, restrain him.

Pick up the laptop on the right side of the table along the north wall.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Point the crosshairs at the mercenary and order him to Follow. Move down
the stairs and exit the building through the north door. Order Bravo to
Follow and move east toward the building in the left corner of the camp.
When reaching the obstacle with the cargo net on the left side, order the
mercenary to Hold Position and order Fireteam to Hold Position. Climb the
cargo net to the obstacle platform. Jump to the balcony of the building to
the northeast. (Tip: Move to the northwest corner of the obstacle's
platform, face east, run and jump to the balcony). Pick up the sausage on
top of the barrel on the balcony.
[***** Primary Objective – Move Mercenary to Extract *****]
Jump over the balcony to the ground. (Note: You will be injured slightly
from the fall.) Point the crosshairs at the mercenary and order him to
Follow. Order Fireteam to Follow. Move to the rear of the building to the
door at FOXTROT. If a paramilitary did not come through the door at FOXTROT
while it was being covered earlier, slowly move through the door. Scan the
area and shoot the paramilitary if he is in the area. Move down the path to
the river and turn left. Follow the river until reaching the extraction
zone. (Note: If the Maintain Stealth secondary objective was failed, the
extraction zone will be at the T intersection on the road where the troop
transport was destroyed. Follow the river until passing under the bridge.
Move up the path on the right after the bridge. Move along the road, past
DELTA, until reaching the extraction zone.) Once the mercenary is in the
extraction zone, the mission is complete.

Walkthrough/Strategy:
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Schedule *****]
Swim east to the dock, climb out and hold position. A paramilitary will
walk from the left to the right on the dock to the north. Shoot him when he
is in view.
Once the paramilitary has been killed, move east to the wooden plank leading
onto the dock. Go right and move around the warehouse to the southeast
corner near the railroad tracks. A paramilitary is patrolling on the east
side of the railroad cars. Shoot him if he is visible.
Move north along the warehouse until reaching the raised, white platform.
Climb onto the platform and continue until reaching the large open door.
There are two paramilitaries inside talking (their location may be visible
through the partially opened door before the open door). There are two
additional paramilitaries in the warehouse, in either the northeast or
southeast section. Point the crosshair to the right inside of the large
door and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Be careful since one of the
paramilitaries may move out the door. Once the smoke begins, move inside of
the warehouse, locate the two talking paramilitaries and kill them. The
other two paramilitaries may approach. Quickly kill them if they do before
the smoke clears. If they stay in the center area, point the crosshairs at
the pole in the center of the warehouse and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke.
Quickly locate and kill the remaining paramilitaries before the smoke
clears.
Once all of the paramilitaries have been killed, move to the left (south)
wall. There are two paramilitaries in the office area on the far (west)
side of the warehouse. Quickly shoot them if they are visible in the west
area before being spotted. Slowly move west across the warehouse until
reaching the narrow hallway. Be alert since there are two paramilitaries
patrolling on the dock to the north outside of the warehouse and may spot
the Fireteam. The two paramilitaries will be in the hallway on the right
and occasionally one of them may move up the north stairs onto the catwalk,
along with another paramilitary in one of the rooms with a shotgun.
Continue slowly moving west until reaching the hallway on the right. Throw
a smoke grenade toward the hallway's left wall. Once the area begins to
fill with smoke, quickly move into the hallway and kill the two
paramilitaries. Occasionally one of the paramilitaries may open the door at
the far end of the hallway. If his happens, point the crosshairs at the
door and order Fireteam to Close Door. Also, be alert since the
paramilitary inside of the room may move into the hallway. Shoot him if he
does. Otherwise, point the crosshairs at the ground in the hallway and
order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke before the first smoke clears. Quickly move
to each office door, open it and shoot the paramilitary if he is in the
room.
Once the paramilitary has been located and killed, move into each room and
pick up the schedule on the desk. (Tip: The schedule is in the same room as
the paramilitary with the shotgun.)
[***** Secondary Objective – Neutralize Snipers *****]
Move south to the end of the hall and turn left. When reaching the crates,
turn left and move along the wall until approximately 98m from FOXTROT.
There is a sniper on the crane platform overhead. Shoot him if he is
visible. If he is not in view, wait until the remaining paramilitaries in
the dock area have been killed since he may then be in view at the edge of
the platform. Occasionally, he will be lying prone on the ledge and not
come into view. If this happens, once all of the other paramilitaries in
the dock area have been killed, move to the stairs at the north end of the
hallway with the five rooms. Move up the stairs and go along the catwalk to
the door. Stay on the left side of the door and open it. Peek right and
shoot the sniper.
Continue along the wall until reaching the crates by the large door and get
into the prone position. There are two paramilitaries walking in the dock
area, usually patrolling counterclockwise around the area. There is also a
sniper on the balcony of the building to the left (northwest) (he may be
prone and hard to see) and a sniper in the window of the building across the
dock (may not be visible). Crawl forward until the two paramilitaries on
the dock are visible and quickly shoot both of them before being spotted.
Once the walking paramilitaries are dead, crawl slightly out of the large
door and look left. Shoot the sniper on the balcony of the far building and
then shoot the sniper in the window of the building across the dock. (Tip:
When locating the sniper in the window of the building, look for the
Takedown special action icon to appear if he is not visible. Shoot when the
icon appears. Continue doing this and eventually he will jump out of the
window onto the roof and there will be a clear shot at him.)
[***** Primary Objective – Investigate Train Shipment *****]
Move across the warehouse to the far left (southeast) door. Exit through
the door and turn right. Be careful since there may be a paramilitary on
the east side of the train to the left if he was not killed earlier and
there are two paramilitaries outside of the warehouse on the northwest side.
Move past the building on the left and turn left. Continue to the far
corner and turn left. At the next corner, turn left again. Carefully move
to the far right (east) side of the railroad tracks. If the paramilitary on
the east side of the train was not killed earlier, get into the prone
position. Crawl toward the train until the paramilitary is in view and
shoot him before being spotted.
Once the paramilitary is dead, move north between the train and the platform
until approximately 20m from DELTA. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There
are two paramilitaries in the area near DELTA. Point the crosshairs at the
crates on the right and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Climb onto the ledge
and when the smoke appears, ignore the two paramilitaries in the area and
quickly move to DELTA.
[***** Crosstalk Objective – Obtain Uranium Intel *****]
Quickly move back to Fireteam's location before the smoke clears and order
Fireteam to Follow. Move south past the train until reaching the wall.
Turn right and move past the building. Move to the dock and go down the
wooden plank. Get into the water on the right (north) side. Swim north and
then east to the tunnel at ECHO. (Special note: The jacket being talked
about by the paramilitaries at the warehouse is in the water on the left
side of the tunnel entrance.) Move through the tunnel until reaching the
ladder at JULIET. Climb up the ladder and turn right. Move through the
doorway into the next room. Proceed to the door along the north wall and
get into the prone position. Two paramilitaries may be standing in the area
to the northeast toward KILO. Face right (east), crawl left and shoot both
of them if they are visible. If they are not visible, they are in the far
right (south) section of the broken down building. Move east along the wall
until approximately 33m from KILO. Point the crosshairs into the broken
down building and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke appears,
move into the broken down building, locate the paramilitaries and shoot
them. Move back to outer wall.
Move east along the wall until directly right (south) of KILO. There are
two paramilitaries out of view in the broken down building to the southeast.
They are either in the first section to the southeast or the further one.
Use the third person view to determine if they are in the first section. If
so, point the crosshairs at the ground near the opening of the wall and
order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Be alert since one of the paramilitaries may
move out of the building. If they are not in the first section, move east
until reaching the next opening. Point the crosshairs at the ground near
the opening of the wall and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke
begins, move into the building, locate the paramilitaries and shoot them
before the smoke clears.
Move northeast toward the building until reaching the right corner of the
green wall by the small, climbable wall. A paramilitary may either standing
or walking near the crane to the north. If he is present, stand, move to
the right and quickly shoot him before being spotted. (Note: A software bug
causes this paramilitary to sometimes disappear when he is walking away. If
this occurs, climb over the wall and move toward him to cause him to
reappear.)
Once the paramilitary is dead, move west along the building until reaching
the corner. Turn right and continue along the wall through the shipping
container, stopping after exiting the shipping container. There are three
paramilitaries in the warehouse to the left, one usually on the left (south)
side and two on the right (north) side. Face left and slowly move right
until the first paramilitary is in view. Shoot him before being spotted.
Continue moving right and shoot each paramilitary when he is visible.
Occasionally one of them will remain on the far west side of the warehouse.
If this happens, point the crosshairs into the middle of the warehouse,
order Fireteam to Deploy Smoke, move into the warehouse and kill the
paramilitary when the smoke begins.
Once all of the paramilitaries in the warehouse are dead, move northwest to
the warehouse wall and then go north until reaching the left side of the
second large door. A paramilitary may be standing on the hill to the far
north. Shoot him if he is visible.
Continue moving north along the warehouse until reaching the barrels sitting
along the wall. There may be a paramilitary standing inside of the shipping
container to the right. If he is present, quickly shoot him before being
spotted.
(Note: If the Destroy Troop Transport bonus objective was not completed in
the Disruption mission, the troop transport will appear and need to be
destroyed. Point the crosshairs at the transport and order Bravo 2 to
Takedown. Simple will shoot the transport with the AT-4.)
Continue moving north until reaching the small hill leading up to the three
trailers. Move to the top of the hill. There is a paramilitary on the far
(east) side of the trailers and should be visible when looking under the
trailers. Shoot the paramilitary.
The uranium intel is located inside one of the trailers on the counter to
the left. The actual trailer it is in is random. There may be a
paramilitary inside of the trailer with the intel and he is usually to the
left of the door. Move to the trailer door and open it. (Tip: To prevent
being seen by the paramilitary inside of the trailer, open the door by
standing on the ground to the left of the ladder leading to the door.) Use
the third person view to determine if the paramilitary is in the trailer.
If he is, move back down the steps, point the crosshairs inside of the
trailer and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the room begins to fill with
smoke, quickly move inside and kill the paramilitary. Pick up the intel on
the counter.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Move to the center trailer and go into it. Point the crosshairs at the
second section of the cabinet (differently colored) until the Open Drawer
special action icon is displayed. Select the special action to open the
door. Pick up the sausage located in the cabinet.

Exit the trailer and go southeast across the area to the east side of the
large building. Be careful since there are three paramilitaries on the roof
of the building. Shoot any of them that are in view. Proceed along the
east side of the building until reaching the scaffolding. Move along the
scaffolding until reaching the ladder. Order Fireteam to Hold Position.
Climb the two ladders until reaching the top and move to the right side of
the door into the building. There are five paramilitaries on the top floor
of the building. One or two of them may be standing either in the middle of
the east/west hallway or in the perpendicular hallway on the right. The
remaining paramilitaries will be in one or more of the four rooms on the
right side of the hall or in the room at the end of the perpendicular
hallway on the right. Get into the prone position, peek left and shoot any
paramilitaries in the hallway.
Order Fireteam to Follow. Peek left and throw a smoke grenade between the
first two doors on the right. Once the smoke appears, move into the hall
and go to the first door. Open it, quickly move into the room and kill any
paramilitaries inside. Exit the first room. Point the crosshairs at the
ground in the hallway near the third room and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke.
Move to the remaining doors, open them, move into the room and shoot any
paramilitaries inside.
Once the paramilitaries in the rooms are killed, move to the middle of the
hall so the door leading to the north hallway is visible. Point the
crosshairs at the far end of the hallway and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke.
Once the room begins to fill with smoke, move down the hallway into the
room. Locate the paramilitary and kill him.
The blueprints are either on a desk in one of the four rooms, on the wall in
the first room at the end of the north hallway or on one of the control
panels in the far room at the end of the north hallway. The actual location
is random. Locate the blueprints and pick them up.

[***** Secondary Objective – At X-Ray *****]
Move to the main (east/west) hallway and order Fireteam to Hold Position.
Move into the first room on the right (east) end (by the door leading to the
scaffolding) and go to the window. There are four paramilitaries in the
area below or in the adjoining section to the left (west). Locate and shoot
any paramilitaries in the area below. Move to the window in the remaining
rooms and shoot any paramilitaries in the area below.
Move into the main hallway and order Fireteam to Follow. Go to the stairs
at the left (west) end and move down the stairs. When reaching the bottom,
turn right and open the door. Remain behind the crate since one or more
paramilitaries may be in the hallway through the southeast door and may move
through it into the large room. When there is no paramilitary in view, move
around the crate toward the southeast door. Point the crosshairs at the
wall to the right of the southeast door and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke.
When the smoke begins to appear, move through the large room and go through
the southeast door into the hall. Point the crosshairs at the ground toward
the east room and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Quickly locate and kill
any paramilitaries in the area before the first smoke clears. Once the
second smoke begins to appear, move to the east room and shoot the remaining
paramilitaries.
After all of the paramilitaries are dead, move into the large room on the
east side. Climb onto the steel platform and move to XRAY in the center.
Point the crosshairs at the equipment and order Fireteam to Place Satchel.

Move north to the wall and then go left into the adjoining room. Climb onto
the steel platform and move to WHISKEY in the center. Point the crosshairs
at the equipment and order Fireteam to Place Satchel.

[***** Secondary Objective – Secure Rooftop *****]
Move to the door in the southwest corner of the room. Go through the door
and turn left. Proceed up the stairs and go into the first room on the left
side of the hallway. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. Climb the ladder to
the roof. There are three paramilitaries moving in random areas on the
roof. There is also a paramilitary helicopter flying overhead. Equip the
AT-4 and shoot the helicopter. (Tip: Wait to shoot the helicopter until it
is directly overhead since it is an easier shot and you only have one shot.)
Once the helicopter is destroyed, get into the prone position and look to
the northeast. Shoot the paramilitaries when they are visible (you may have
to move slightly north in order to see all of them).
Once the paramilitaries are dead, move to the extraction zone at YANKEE.
Once the extraction zone is reached, the mission is complete.

Move southeast to the warehouse door. Proceed outside and move east to the
door of the next warehouse. There may be two paramilitaries inside of the
door to the left, along with a hostage. Open the door and use the third
person view to determine if the paramilitaries and hostiles are to the left
of the door. If they are, throw a smoke grenade into the room. Once the
room begins to fill with smoke, move into the room and shoot the
paramilitaries. Be careful to not kill the hostage since the mission will
be a failure if he is killed. Once the paramilitaries are dead, restrain
the hostage. If the paramilitaries and hostage are not to the left, move
into the room and watch the opening to the southeast since a paramilitary
may appear. If he does, quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Move to the east wall and then go south until reaching the opening. There
are two paramilitaries in the next section of the warehouse in the southeast
corner. There is also a sniper patrolling on the south and southeast
catwalks in the next section. Point the crosshairs at the opening and order
Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Quickly face east and get into the prone position.
Once the smoke begins to appear, peek right and quickly shoot the two
paramilitaries in the southeast corner. Shoot the sniper on the catwalk if
he is visible. If not, quickly move east into the next section, point the
crosshairs at the floor near the east wall and order Bravo 1 to Deploy
Smoke. Quickly locate and shoot the sniper on the catwalk before the smoke
clears.
There may also be two paramilitaries and a hostage behind the crates in the
northeast section of the warehouse. If the objective is not completed after
killing the sniper, throw a smoke grenade over the crates to the corner.
Once the smoke begins to appear, quickly move east and then north around the
crates, locate the paramilitaries and kill them before the smoke clears. Be
careful to not kill the hostage since the mission will be a failure if he is
killed. Once the paramilitaries are dead, restrain the hostage.

Move west back to the door used to enter the warehouse, but do not exit. A
paramilitary may be patrolling clockwise around the dock to the south. Use
the third person view to determine if he is there and his location. If he
is on the dock, wait until he is moving away (south). When he does, move
out of the door and shoot him.
Move southwest to the building and then move south, staying next to the
building, across the dock toward the warehouse door to the right of the
steel stairs. Be careful since there is a paramilitary out of view on the
lower portion of the dock in the center. He will not see the Fireteam if
you stay next to the building. Also, be careful when crossing the dock
since a paramilitary may be patrolling inside of the large door of the
warehouse. If he is visible, shoot him. Finally, there are two
paramilitaries patrolling on the far portion of the dock to the southwest of
the warehouse on the right. When reaching the corner of the warehouse, face
right and get into the prone position. Peek left and quickly shoot both
paramilitaries before being spotted if they are visible.
When reaching the warehouse door, a paramilitary may be in the hallway
behind it. Point the crosshairs at the ground by the door and order Bravo 2
to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins to appear, open the door, move
inside of the hallway and quickly shoot the paramilitary if he is there.
Point the crosshairs at the floor to the right of the first door on the
right and order Fireteam to Move To. Once the entire Fireteam is inside of
the hall, order Fireteam to Hold Position. Point the crosshairs at the door
and order Bravo 2 to Close Door. There are two paramilitaries and one
hostage in up to three of the rooms in the hallway. Point the crosshairs at
the ground in the center of the hallway and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke.
Once the smoke begins to appear, quickly move to each door, open it, move
inside of the room and shoot any paramilitaries inside of it before the
smoke clears. Be careful to not kill the hostage since the mission will be
a failure if he is killed. Do not restrain any hostages until all of the
rooms have been cleared. (Tip: Once the first two rooms have been cleared,
point the crosshairs at the center of the hallway and order Bravo 2 to
Deploy Smoke. This will give additional smoke cover to clear the remaining
rooms.) Once all of the paramilitaries in the rooms have been killed, move
to each room containing a hostage and restrain them.
Move to the steel stairs to the left of the entrance door. Slowly crawl up
the left side of the stairs to the top. There are two to four
paramilitaries on the catwalk above the warehouse. If there are only two on
the catwalk, the remaining two will be in the lower part of the warehouse,
usually in the southeast section. There is also a paramilitary on the
ground floor, sometimes in the northeast corner and sometimes patrolling by
the large door to the south. Look straight ahead and shoot any
paramilitaries on the catwalk to the east. Turn right and quickly eliminate
the remaining paramilitaries on the catwalk and those visible on the ground
floor before being spotted.
Crawl backwards down the stairs. When reaching the bottom, move south until
reaching the end of the hall. Order Able 2 to Follow. If the
paramilitaries on the southeast dock when entering the warehouse were not
killed, one of them will be walking outside of the large door to the south.
Wait for him to appear and shoot him when he does.
Move ahead (east) to the crates and then go left between the crates and the
wall. When reaching the left edge of the crates, order Able 2 to Hold
Position. Peek left to determine if the paramilitary moved into the center
of the warehouse. If so, shoot him. Otherwise, move northeast to the next
set of crates and then go to the left (north) corner. Peek left around the
crates to determine if the paramilitary is visible in the far corner. If he
is, quickly shoot him before being spotted. If not, he will usually be
behind the crates by the large door on the east wall. Order Able 2 to
Follow and move across the warehouse to ECHO. Point the crosshairs by the
crates to the east and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins
to appear, quickly go around the crates toward the large door, locate the
paramilitary and kill him before the smoke clears.

Order Fireteam to Follow and move to the large door on the east wall. Move
through the door and turn right. Move along the white deck until it ends.
Proceed south to the rear of the next warehouse. Continue moving south
behind the warehouse until reaching the far corner. Turn right and move
along the warehouse wall until reaching the front corner. Turn right and
stop at the door. If all of the hostages have been located, there will be
no paramilitaries inside of the warehouse. In this case, simply open the
door and move inside to FOXTROT. Otherwise, there are two or four
paramilitaries inside, along with one or two hostages (depending on how many
hostages have been found so far). Open the door and throw a smoke grenade
into the room. (Tip: Peek left and toss the smoke grenade to avoid being
spotted.) Once the room begins to fill with smoke, move inside and kill the
paramilitaries inside. Be careful to not kill the hostage since the mission
will be a failure if he is killed.

Move out of the door in the southeast corner. There is a paramilitary
patrolling on the lower portion of the dock to the right. Move left next to
the building and go west until reaching the door at INDIA. The paramilitary
on the lower dock will not see the Fireteam if all of the team members stay
next to the building. When reaching the door, open it and move inside.

Move through the hallway to the door at the end. There are two or four
paramilitaries inside of the room. Point the crosshairs at the floor by the
door and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins to appear,
open the door, move into the room and shoot the paramilitaries.
Once the paramilitaries are dead, move to the west door. Open it and go
through the hallway to the door at the end. Order Fireteam to Hold
Position. There is a paramilitary in the warehouse area, sometimes to the
left of the door, sometimes along the far (east) wall. Point the crosshairs
at the floor by the door and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke
begins to appear, open the door, move through it and turn left. Kill the
paramilitary if he is in the immediate area. Otherwise, quickly move to the
area to the left of the crates and get into the prone position. Locate the
paramilitary along the far (east) wall and quickly shoot him before the
smoke clears.
Move to the left (north) side of the crates on the west side of the
warehouse. A paramilitary may be walking on the dock outside of the large
door to the south. Wait to see if the paramilitary walks by the door from
the left. If he does, wait until he is walking back to the left. When he
does, peek left and shoot him. Move to the right side of the large door. A
paramilitary may be on the front (west) side of the second story deck of the
ship. Shoot him if he is there and when visible.
Order Fireteam to Follow and move southeast across the deck to the
gangplank. If the paramilitary did not walk in front of the warehouse door,
he will be behind the crates along the dock to the east. Order Fireteam to
Hold Position. Point the crosshairs at the crates to the east and order
Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke appears, quickly move behind the
crates, locate the paramilitary and kill him. Quickly move back to
Fireteam's location before the smoke clears and order Fireteam to Follow.
There is a paramilitary patrolling on the far east side of the dock, but
sometimes he will remain out of view in the south section of the dock. Wait
to see if he is walking along the dock and if he does, quickly shoot him
before being spotted.
Move up the gangplank and when reaching the top, turn right. Proceed along
the deck until reaching the right side of the door in the front (bow)
section. A paramilitary may be either standing on the stairs, walking up
the stairs or in the room at the bottom. Point the crosshairs at the deck
in front of the door and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke
begins to appear, open the door and quickly shoot the paramilitary if he is
on the stairs. Quickly move to the bottom of the stairs and shoot the
paramilitary if he is in the room. Once the entire Fireteam is in the room,
order Fireteam to Hold Position. There are one or two paramilitaries in
either the passage on the right (north) or on the left (south). Point the
crosshairs at the passage on the left and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke.
Once the smoke begins to appear, move into the passage and shoot any
paramilitaries in it. Move back into the room, point the crosshairs at the
opposite passage and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins
to appear, move into the passage and shoot any paramilitaries in it.
Once all of the paramilitaries in the passages have been killed, move back
into the room and place a satchel by the wheel.
[***** Primary Objective – Investigate Cargo *****]
Check if the nautical charts are on the wall near the wheel. If they are,
do NOT pick them up. Move through the door on the right (north). Proceed
through the passage to the first door on the right (cargo hold). Order
Fireteam to Hold Position. One paramilitary may be inside of the room if he
was not killed in the passage earlier. If he did not get killed earlier,
point the crosshairs at the deck in front of the door and order Able 2 to
Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins to appear, open the door, quickly move
inside and kill the paramilitary in the room. (Note: Be sure to look on all
sides of the ration crates.)

Check if the nautical charts are on the west wall near the crates. If they
are, do NOT pick them up. Move to the north side of the crates and pick up
the sausage lying between them.

Move back to the passage and order Fireteam to Follow. Proceed east until
reaching the next door on the right. Order Fireteam to Hold Position.

since one of the paramilitaries may move through the door. Once the smoke
begins to appear, open the door, quickly move inside and kill the
paramilitaries in the room.
Once all of the paramilitaries are dead, place a satchel between the tanks
on the left side of the room.

Check if the nautical charts are on the wall to the right of the door you
came through. If they are, do NOT pick them up. Move back to the passage
and order Fireteam to Follow. Continue east until the passage turns right.
There may be a single paramilitary in the room if he was not killed in the
passage earlier. Use the third person view to determine if there is a
paramilitary in the room. If there is, point the crosshairs at the deck by
the door and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins to appear,
quickly move into the room and kill the paramilitary before the smoke
disappears.
Move through the door on the right into the passage and proceed up the
stairs. At the top of the stairs, turn right and move to the second set of
stairs. Proceed up the stairs and when reaching the top, order Fireteam to
Hold Position. Open the door and crawl onto the deck. If the paramilitary
on the far east dock was not killed early, slowly crawl east and south along
the dock until he is visible. Quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Order Able 2 to Follow and move south along the deck until reaching the
stairs. There are two paramilitaries, along with the freighter captain
(wearing a blue coat and a white hat), either on the deck at the top of the
stairs or in the bridge. Move up the first flight of stairs. Be careful
since one of the paramilitaries may move down the second flight of stairs.
When reaching the top of the first flight, throw a smoke grenade to the
right of the stairs. Once the smoke begins to appear, quickly move up the
second flight of stairs to the top and shoot any paramilitaries on the deck
to the right of the stairs. Be careful to not shoot the freighter captain
since the objective will be failed if he is killed. Move right along the
deck until the bridge door on the north side of the deck is in view. Throw
another smoke grenade toward the door of the bridge. When the smoke begins
to appear, quickly move to the door, open it and move into the bridge.
Shoot any remaining paramilitaries on the bridge.
Once the paramilitaries have been killed, locate the freighter captain and
throw a smoke grenade towards him if the smoke is beginning to clear.
Continually rifle butt him until he surrenders. Once he has surrendered,
restrain him.
[***** Primary Objective - Obtain Nautical Charts *****]
If the nautical charts were not seen earlier, move back onto the bridge and
pick up the nautical charts on the right (south) table in the center of the
bridge. Otherwise, move back down the stairs into the hull of the ship and
go to the location where the nautical charts were seen earlier. Pick up the
nautical charts. Once the nautical charts have been picked up, the mission
is complete.

Walkthrough/Strategy:
[***** Secondary Objective – Secure Plateau *****]
Quickly begin moving left along the path. After the path turns right, stop
after passing the bush on the left side of the rocks. A paramilitary may
either walk along the right side of the far right or far left building and
move to the near (southwest) side of the building, but occasionally will be
inside of the center building or stay inside of the far left building. Wait
to see if he is walking on the outside one of the buildings and if so, shoot
him when he is on the near side of the building.
A 3-vehicle convoy will move northwest along the road and stop in the
village. The first and last vehicles have a driver and a gunner. The
middle vehicle (cargo truck) has only a driver. The convoy will remain in
the village for approximately two minutes and then continue along the road
over the north bridge. The convoy must be destroyed before it escapes or
the mission is a failure.
Quickly move down the path until reaching the river. Once reaching the
river, go left until reaching the small path leading up the hill to the
village (approximately 45m from TUNNEL). Move left along the path until
reaching the top of the stone stairs on the path. If the first paramilitary
was not killed earlier and is in the first building, he will move out of the
east door and go around to the south side of the building. Quickly shoot
him before being spotted. In addition to the paramilitaries in the convoy,
there are also four additional ones in the village buildings. Turn right
and move to the right side of the right door of the first building. If the
first paramilitary was killed by this building, be careful since one or more
of the remaining paramilitaries may have moved to the area to investigate.
Order Fireteam to Hold Position. Face east and move right through the door
until the gunner in the first vehicle is visible. Shoot him and then shoot
the driver. (Tip: Shooting the driver is important since this will prevent
the remaining vehicles from escaping.)
Once both paramilitaries in the first vehicle are dead, quickly throw a
smoke grenade toward the east door. Once the smoke begins to appear,
quickly move out the door and go into the second building. Shoot any
paramilitary inside of the room or that have moved by the front of the
convoy. Quickly move back to the first building and go out the west door to
where Fireteam is holding. Order Fireteam to Follow and quickly move
southeast along the building before the smoke clears. Continue along the
wall until reaching the door in the center of the second building. The
driver of the cargo truck should be visible so shoot him.
Continue southeast along the building wall until reaching the corner of the
last building. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. Peek right and shoot the
gunner in the last vehicle.
Move northwest back to the door in the center of the middle building. Move
inside of the building and go left until the last vehicle in the convoy is
visible. Equip the AT-4 and shoot the last vehicle. (Tip: Be sure the
Takedown special action icon is displayed before firing to ensure the
vehicle is not missed.)
Once the vehicle has been destroyed, move back out of the door and order
Fireteam to Follow. Move southeast along the building wall until reaching
the corner of the last building. Be careful since one of the paramilitaries
may be in the area and move toward your location. Point the crosshairs east
at the small tree and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke
appears, move east, locate and shoot the two paramilitaries in the area
before the smoke clears. These paramilitaries should be either by the
convoy or in the right building on the opposite side of the road.
Once both paramilitaries have been killed, quickly move to the rear
(northeast) side of the right building on the opposite side of the road.
Point the crosshairs northwest by the tree to the right of the other
building. Order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke appears, move to
the far (northwest) wall of the other building, locate and shoot the
remaining paramilitaries in the area before the smoke clears. These
paramilitaries should be either inside of the building or by the convoy.
[***** Secondary Objective – Demo North Bridge *****]
Move west along the road to the middle of the bridge. When in the center of
the bridge, point the crosshairs at the bridge and place a satchel.
[***** Primary Objective – Destroy Convoy *****]
Move east along the road back to the convoy. Point the crosshairs at the
first vehicle and order Able 2 to Takedown. Jester will shoot the vehicle
with the AT-4. Be sure the Fireteam is not near the vehicle or they may be
injured when the vehicle explodes.
Point the crosshairs at the second vehicle and order Bravo 1 to Takedown.
Killjoy will shoot the vehicle with the AT-4.
[***** Bonus Objective – Destroy Communications *****]
Move west down the path to the river. Move southeast across the river
toward the path by the tree. Move up the right side of the path until
reaching the mission starting location.
***** CHECKPOINT *****
Move south along the path to ECHO. Continue along the path and stop after
the path turns left (approximately 58m from FOXTROT). One, sometimes two,
paramilitaries will walk along the path from where it turns right directly
ahead, but will not be immediately looking down the path toward your
location. Aim to the left of the pillar at the corner and quickly shoot the
paramilitary when he appears before he turns the corner and spots you. Wait
to see whether a second paramilitary appears and kill him in the same
manner.
Follow the path until reaching the bushes just past FOXTROT and get into the
prone position. A paramilitary will be walking along the ledge to the east.
When he appears, shoot him before being spotted.
Once the paramilitary is killed, look south toward the building below.
There is usually a sniper on the right roof of the building, but may be out
of view behind the tree. If he is visible, shoot him. Otherwise, move left
along the ledge and shoot him when he is in view.
Follow the ledge until reaching the narrow, stone lined path leading to the
ruins. Order Bravo to Hold Position. There is a paramilitary patrolling in
the ruins area near INDIA. Point the crosshairs at the path where it curves
left and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke appears, quickly
move to the curve in the path, point the crosshairs at INDIA and order Able
2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the second smoke appears, move into the ruins,
locate and kill the paramilitary in the area.
Once the paramilitary has been killed, move west back to Bravo's location.
Order Bravo to Follow and move west along the ridge to the fourth archway on
the right (approximately 15m from JULIET). Order Fireteam to Hold Position.
There is a paramilitary inside of the alcove. Point the crosshairs at the
ground in front of the archway and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Once the
smoke appears, move inside of the alcove, locate the paramilitary and kill
him.
Once the paramilitary is dead, move to the radio on the left side of the
alcove. Point the crosshairs at the radio until the Disable Radio special
action icon is displayed. Select the special action to destroy the radio.
(Tip: The radio can also be destroyed by shooting it.)
[***** Crosstalk Objective – Secure Hostage *****]
Move back outside of the alcove. If the sniper on the right side of the
building to the south was not killed earlier, get into the prone position,
crawl south toward the edge and shoot him. Order Fireteam to Follow and
move west past JULIET until reaching the stairs leading down the hill to the
building. Move down the stairs and go to the right side of the door on the
north side of the building. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There are two
paramilitaries on the ground floor of the building, a sniper on the second
floor of the building (if he was not killed earlier) and a paramilitary
outside of the house by the southwest corner. There is also a hostage on
the second floor. Point the crosshairs by the ground in front of the door
and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke appears, open the door,
move inside, locate and kill the two paramilitaries on the ground floor
(usually in the room to the right).
Once the two paramilitaries are dead, if the sniper was not killed earlier,
quickly move up the stairs to the left of the entry door to the second
floor. Locate the sniper and kill him before the smoke disappears.
Once the paramilitaries in the building are dead, move into the first floor
room on the right and throw a smoke grenade at the south door. Once the
smoke begins to appear, open the door and move outside. Quickly locate and
kill the paramilitary near the corner of the house. (Tip: Use the compass
display on the on-screen display to locate the paramilitary since he may be
difficult to visually locate due to the foliage.)
There is also a paramilitary patrolling on either the small bridge to the
southeast or the bridge to the southwest. Quickly locate and shoot him
before the smoke clears or you are spotted.
Move back inside of the building and go to the stairs to the left of the
initial entry door leading to the second floor. Go up the stairs. Move to
the hostage and restrain him.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Move back down the stairs and go right out the door to Fireteam's location.
Order Able 2 to Follow. Move around the east side of the building and then
go south across the road to the small, stone wall. Move around the wall to
the small bridge. Go across the bridge and then turn right. Follow the
path to the top of the ledge. Pick up the sausage located on the ground on
the south side of the lone tree on the ledge.

Move back down the path to the small bridge. Cross the bridge and move
north back to the right (east) side of the building. Order Bravo to Follow.
Go right and follow the path to the stairs leading up the hill to JULIET.
Go up the stairs and when reaching the top, move west to the last archway.
Move through the archway into the tunnel. Follow the tunnel until it turns
right. There may be a paramilitary at the end of the right tunnel. If he
is visible, point the crosshairs at the tunnel intersection and order Bravo
1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move around the corner and kill
the paramilitary before the smoke clears. Follow the tunnel until reaching
the intersection with the lit lantern overhead. There may be two
paramilitaries in the tunnel to the right (or only one if there was a
paramilitary at the end of the first tunnel). Point the crosshairs at the
tunnel intersection and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins
to appear, move into the intersection and shoot the paramilitaries if
visible in the right tunnel. If he not visible, quickly move down the left
tunnel before the smoke clears.
Follow the left tunnel until coming to another tunnel on the left
(approximately 39m from ROMEO). Turn left and stop when the tunnel turns
right. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There are three paramilitaries in
the area by the weapons components. Throw a smoke grenade toward the left
wall of the tunnel. Be careful since one of the paramilitaries may move
into the tunnel toward you. When the smoke begins to appear, move into the
area and quickly kill the paramilitaries by the weapons components.
Once the paramilitaries have been killed, quickly place a satchel by the
weapons components before the smoke clears. Move back through the tunnel to
Fireteam's location. Order Fireteam to Follow. There may be a paramilitary
in the tunnel to the left of the intersection. Point the crosshairs at the
intersection and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke appears, move
to the intersection and shoot the paramilitary in the left tunnel if he is
visible. Quickly move along the right tunnel until it turns left. Once the
Fireteam is clear of the weapons components, the satchel will explode and
the mission is complete. (Tip: If the first paramilitaries when entering
the tunnel or the paramilitary in the left tunnel were not killed, point the
crosshairs at the ground at your current location and order Fireteam to
Deploy Smoke. Continue doing this to prevent being spotted by any remaining
paramilitaries until the mission ends.)

river. Cross the river and go to the path leading up the hill to the ruins.
Follow the path toward the stone arch. There is a paramilitary standing

the arch and move to its left side. Aim north and wait for the paramilitary
to reappear on the path from behind the small hill. Quickly shoot him
before being spotted.
Move north along the path to FOXTROT. A KA-50 helicopter will approach from
the northwest. As soon as the helicopter appears, point the crosshairs at
the helicopter and order Fireteam to Takedown. One of the Fireteam members
will shoot the helicopter with an AT-4. (Note: It is important to initially
remain under the helicopter as much as possible to avoid being spotted since
the helicopter's machine gun will kill the team members very quickly.)
[***** Secondary Objective – Demo Fuel Dump *****]
Point the crosshairs by the ledge on the left (west) side of the path and
order Fireteam to Move To. Be alert since one of the paramilitaries in the
ruins to the north may appear near the machine gun turret. Climb up the
ledge and slowly move southwest to the wall on the right side of the stairs.
There are three paramilitaries in the area to the west. There is one in a
random location in the lower section, a sniper either on the wall to the
northwest or manning the machine gun turret to the northwest and a sniper on
the ledge of the pyramid to the southwest, although sometimes he may be out
of view on the opposite side. Peek left and throw a smoke grenade around
the corner. (Tip: Do not throw the smoke too far or it will be more
difficult to aim at the paramilitaries through the scope.) Be careful since
the paramilitary in the lower section may be close by and move toward the
corner. When the smoke begins to appear, move west to the edge of the ledge
into the smoke. Quickly locate and shoot the sniper on the right
(northwest) wall. Quickly locate and shoot the paramilitary in the lower
section before the smoke clears. Finally, shoot the sniper on the pyramid
ledge. Do not worry if he is not in view and is not killed.
Turn around and move east back to Fireteam's location. Order Fireteam to
Follow. Move north up the hill toward the machine gun turret. When 10m
from the turret, order Fireteam to Hold Position. Continue moving to the
bushes by the wall behind the machine gun turret. There is a sniper on the
ledge of the temple to the northwest. Slowly move left around the wall
until he is in view and then shoot him.
There is a paramilitary manning the machine gun turret on the wall to the
right and three paramilitaries on the opposite side of the stairs to the
north. Move along the wall and shoot the paramilitary manning the machine
gun turret when he is in view. Order Fireteam to Follow and move north to
the stairs, being sure to stay next to the wall to remain out of view of the
other paramilitaries. Point the crosshairs at the ground to the left of the
stairs and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins to appear,
move around the stairs, locate and shoot the paramilitaries in the area
before the smoke clears. One of the paramilitaries may retreat north to the
stairs on the left leading up to the temple. Be careful when pursuing him
so that you do not move too far out of the smoke cover and are spotted by
him.
Once the paramilitaries are dead, point the crosshairs at the fuel dump and
order Fireteam to Place Satchel.
[***** Secondary Objective – Demo Radar Station *****]
Move north to the stairs leading up to the temple. Move up the stairs and
when reaching the top, turn right toward the pillars but do not move toward
them. There are four paramilitaries in the area around the radar station
truck. Throw a smoke grenade toward the round structure to the north of the
truck. Once the smoke begins to appear, quickly move north, locate and kill
the paramilitaries in the area.
Once the paramilitaries are dead, place a satchel by the truck.
[***** Crosstalk Objective – Destroy MI-24 Helicopter *****]
Sandman will say on the radio that they have blown stealth and enemy
reinforcements are on the way. Once this happens, an enemy patrol boat with
a driver and paramilitary at the rear right (aft starboard) machine gun will
begin circling clockwise around the island from the north. (Note: You can
have the Fireteam destroy the boat using the AT-4 if desired. However, if
the team member is spotted by the boat's gunner before making the shot, the
gunner will open fire and kill the team member very quickly.)
Move east back to the path and stop. Watch the water and wait until the
enemy patrol boat passes from left to right. Once the boat has passed, move
south back to the courtyard entrance by the stairs leading up to the temple.
Be alert since there is a paramilitary to the northeast by the water and he
may move toward the ruins. Wait for the MI-24 helicopter to approach from
the southeast. Equip the AT-4 and shoot the helicopter as it flies
northwest over the courtyard.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Move north to the stairs leading up to the temple. Go up the stairs and
when reaching the top, turn left. Order Fireteam to Hold Position and get
into the prone position. Slowly crawl along the ledge on the left side of
the temple. There is a paramilitary somewhere in the area of the far
riverbank to the southwest. Sometimes he will be out of view or inside of
the round structure. Locate and shoot him if he is visible.
Continue crawling west along the ledge. There is a paramilitary somewhere
on the ground to the southwest or west of the temple. Carefully crawl and
locate his position. Once found, quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Continue crawling west until reaching the corner. There is sometimes a
paramilitary in the area of the tall, round structure to the northwest. If
he is visible, shoot him.
Using the TACMAP, wait until the patrol boat is on the north or east side of
the island. When it is, order Fireteam to Follow and quickly go right and
then move left down the small set of stairs. At the bottom, turn left again
and proceed down the large set of stairs to the ground. If the paramilitary
by the tall, round structure to the northwest was not killed, shoot him if
he is now in view. Move south to the small wall, making sure all Fireteam
members are behind it and out of view of the water. Order Fireteam to Hold
Position. Wait until the patrol boat passes from left to right. Once it
has passed, order Able 2 to Follow and quickly move west to the water.
Locate the small toy boat in the water in the tall grass. Pickup the
sausage on the toy boat.

Quickly move south to the 2-pillar structure near the water. Move south
along the hill until it curves left (east). There are three paramilitaries
in the area of the weapons cache by ECHO. Throw a smoke grenade east toward
ECHO. Once the area is filled with smoke, move to the weapons cache, locate
and shoot the paramilitaries in the area before the smoke clears.
Once the paramilitaries by the weapons cache are dead, move to the north
side of the weapons cache to be out of view of the patrol boat when it
passes. Place a satchel by the weapons cache. Using the TACMAP, wait until
the patrol boat has passed. Once it has, quickly move west and then north
back to the 2-pillar structure near the water. Continue moving north and
then east to Bravo's location. Once you and Jester are clear of the weapons
cache, the satchel will explode and the mission is complete.

Walkthrough/Strategy:

Move ahead along the road until reaching the bushes by the utility pole on
the right side of the road at the fork (ignore the nearby explosions since
they will not hit you or the team). There are three paramilitaries standing
on the south bridge on the right fork, one of which may be out of view.
Shoot the paramilitaries in view. Point the crosshairs at the road before
the bridge and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke appears,
quickly run approximately 2/3 of the way across the bridge (to where the
weapons from the first paramilitaries are laying), ignoring the remaining
paramilitary. Throw a smoke grenade east toward the path on the right side
since three additional paramilitaries will come from this path shortly. If
the third paramilitary on the bridge was out of view and not already killed,
point the crosshairs at him and order Fireteam to Takedown. Fireteam will
shoot the paramilitary. Point the crosshairs at the bridge and order
Fireteam to Place Satchel.

Run down the road toward the path on the right. Quickly shoot the three
paramilitaries that move to the road from the path before the second smoke
clears.
Once the three paramilitaries are killed, move northeast across the road to
the building and go to the bottom of the stairs on the right side. Order
Bravo to Hold Position. Move up the stairs and go through the door into the
room. Move to the bottom of the second set of stairs and order Able 2 to
Hold Position. There are three paramilitaries inside of the room at the top
of the stairs, one of who may move out of the west door onto the balcony.
Point the crosshairs at the floor at the bottom of the stairs and order Able
2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move up the stairs and kill the
paramilitaries in the room.
Once the paramilitaries are dead, place a satchel by the SAM shipment in the
right (south) corner.
[***** Crosstalk Objective – Secure Nightowl's Sister *****]
Move back down the stairs and order Able 2 to Follow. Move out of the
building and go down the stairs to Bravo's location. Order Bravo to Follow.
Move southeast to the road and then follow the road northeast to the large
tree to the left of the fork. Move north until a tank is visible by the
north bridge. There is one paramilitary inside of the tank and four others
standing to the left of it by the bridge. Order Bravo to Hold Position and
throw a smoke grenade toward the tank. When the smoke appears, run toward
the tank, locate and kill the four paramilitaries by the bridge and quickly
move back to Bravo's location before the smoke clears. (Tip: The tank will
not spot you if you are behind it when the smoke clears.)
Order Bravo to Follow and move northeast across the road to the path between
the building and the cliff. Point the crosshairs at the ground by the right
corner of the building and order Able 2 to Move To and Bravo 2 to Move To.
Point the crosshairs at the ground to the left of the left corner of the
building and order Bravo 1 to Move To. Be sure that Bravo 1 (Killjoy) has a
view of the tank. Point the crosshairs at the tank and order Bravo 1 to
Deploy Smoke. When the smoke begins to appear, point the crosshairs at the
tank and order Bravo 1 to Takedown. Killjoy will shoot the tank with the
AT-4. Once the tank has been shot, the paramilitary inside of it will get
out and may be killed by the tank's explosion. If he is not killed, quickly
shoot him before the smoke clears.
Order Fireteam to Follow. Move north to the building wall and then left
until reaching the corner. There is one, sometimes two, paramilitaries
between the buildings to the north. Point the crosshairs at the ground to
the left of the current corner and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the
smoke appears, move north between the buildings and kill any paramilitaries
in the area. Be alert since one or more of the paramilitaries inside of the
building may move outside.
Point the crosshairs at the ground near the small stairs leading up to the
building on the left and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke
begins to appear, quickly move to the door of the building. There are two
or four paramilitaries inside of the building's room and possibly Nightowl's
sister. There is also a paramilitary either outside of the west window,
near the stairs in the next room to the right or on the second floor.
Quickly move into the room and kill the paramilitaries inside. Move to the
west window and shoot the paramilitary outside if in view and if not, move
into the next room with the stairs and shoot the paramilitary if he is in
the room before the smoke clears. If Nightowl's sister is in the first
room, restrain her.
Move north into the next room. Turn right and go to the stairs. Point the
crosshairs at the bottom of the stairs and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke.
Once the smoke begins, quickly move up the stairs and when reaching the top,
shoot the paramilitary in the room if he was not killed on the first floor
or outside of the west window. There are two paramilitaries inside of the
next room and Nightowl's sister is she was not in the first floor room.
Quickly move into the room and kill the paramilitaries before the smoke
clears. If Nightowl's sister is in the room, restrain her.

Move through the south door onto the balcony. Turn left and go down the
stairs. When reaching the bottom, move south until reaching the wall of the
south building. Go left and move between the buildings to the left corner
of the south building. There may be a paramilitary near the road to the
south. Peek left around the corner and if the paramilitary is visible,
shoot him. Otherwise, move around the corner and go to the path leading to
the road. Point the crosshairs at the bottom of the path and order Bravo 1
to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke appears, move to the end of the path and if
the paramilitary is in the area, shoot him.
Order Bravo to Hold Position. Move northwest to the bridge and place a
satchel on it. Move back along the road to Bravo's location.

Move east along the left side of the road, staying next to the rock, until
reaching the utility pole. There is a paramilitary either standing by the
building around the corner, inside of the building or standing near the
machine gun turret to the east. There are also three other paramilitaries
who will engage in a firefight with the allies across the road to the south.
If the paramilitary is standing near the machine gun turret to the east,
shoot him. Otherwise, peek left around the rock and shoot the paramilitary
by the building if he is there and in view. Order Fireteam to Fire At Will.
Move along the cliff toward the building and shoot the paramilitaries in the
area. The idea is to come in behind them and shoot them while they are
engaged with the allies.
[***** Secondary Objective – Secure Juliet *****]
Order Fireteam to Hold Fire and move west back down to the road. Move east
along the road past the barricade until reaching the path on the right. Do
NOT shoot any of the allies in the area or the mission will be a failure.
Follow the path until it curves left (approximately 67m from JULIET). Peek
around the rock and look at the opposite side of the road in the distance.
If there are one or more paramilitaries visible, shoot them. Continue along
the path, staying along the right side, until reaching the path on the
right. It is important to stay behind the rock at the edge of the cliff to
be out of view of the road. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There are two
paramilitaries on the road below the cliff, along with a tank on the right
side and a paramilitary inside of it. Point the crosshairs at the ground to
the left of the rock at the edge of the cliff and order Bravo 2 to Deploy
Smoke. Once the smoke begins to appear, quickly move to the edge of the
cliff and shoot the paramilitaries below. (Note: Only the paramilitaries on
the left part of the road must be killed to complete the objective.)

Quickly equip the AT-4, shoot the tank and move back to Fireteam's location
before the smoke clears.

Order Fireteam to Follow and proceed west along the path to the river at
INDIA. Turn left and move up the path on the mountain. Continue along the
path until 35m from FOXTROT. There are three paramilitaries ahead around
the corner on the path and are engaged in a firefight with allies across the
river. Point the crosshairs at the grass by the corner and order Bravo 2 to
Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, quickly move around the corner and
kill the paramilitaries.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Order Fireteam to Hold Position. Move into the river and go left to the
waterfall until reaching the invisible barrier. Pick up the sausage in the
water on the right 1/3 of the river, just back from the invisible barrier
(it is difficult to see).
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Docks *****]
Order Fireteam to Follow and move to the path on the opposite side of the
river where the allies are located. Follow the path past LIMA until
approximately 61m from KIL. Order Bravo to Hold Position. There may be one
or two paramilitaries patrolling near the building on the dock at KILO.
There may also be four paramilitaries inside of the building on the dock at
KILO and should be visible through the building's door. Shoot the
paramilitary on the dock if he is present and then shoot the paramilitaries
inside of the building if they are present.
Continue along the path until reaching the water (approximately 43m from
KILO). There may be one or two paramilitaries patrolling along the road
across the river to the north. Watch the road and shoot the paramilitaries
if they come into view.
Swim north across the river until reaching the ledge near the path. Climb
up the ledge and get into the prone position. Crawl to the right to the
grass in front of the tree. If the two patrolling paramilitaries were not
killed earlier, they may be visible near the building to the northeast.
However, sometimes they may be out of view on the ridge behind (northwest)
of the building. There are also four paramilitaries inside of the building
if they were not killed inside of the building on the dock at KILO. If the
patrolling paramilitaries are visible, quickly shoot them before being
spotted. (Note: Jester may have trouble climbing onto the ledge from the
river. If this happens, use a combination of the Move To and Follow
commands to get him onto the ledge).
Throw a smoke grenade toward the right side of the gray stonewall to the
northeast. Once the smoke appears, quickly move into it. Point the
crosshairs at the ground near the closest (west) side of the building. Once
the smoke appears, move to the left (north) side of the building. If both
of the patrolling paramilitaries were not killed earlier, quickly locate
them on the ridge to the northwest and shoot them. Point the crosshairs at
the ground by the door of the building and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke.
Once the smoke appears, move inside of the building and kill the
paramilitaries inside before the smoke clears. Once all of the
paramilitaries are dead, the mission is complete.

Move to the street and go left (southeast) until reaching the alley on the
right behind the parking garage. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. On the
left side of the alley entrance is a green dumpster. Climb onto the
dumpster and then onto the ledge. Pick up the sausage on the south end of
the ledge.
[***** Primary Objective – Infiltrate Garage *****]
Move back to the north end of the ledge. Jump onto the dumpster and then
onto the street. Order Fireteam to Follow. Move west along the left side
of the road to the door leading into the parking garage near the street
corner. Move inside and slowly go up the ramp to the second floor. After
the hallway turns left (north), point the crosshairs at the ground by the
north wall and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. There are two paramilitaries
either around the corner to the right (east) or in the alcove on the west
side in the center of the garage (to the south). There are also two
additional paramilitaries at the south end of the garage, either in the far
south area or in the alcove on the west side in the center of the garage.
Be careful since one of the paramilitaries may move around the corner into
the hallway. Once the smoke appears, move around the corner, locate and
kill the two paramilitaries if they are in the immediate area.
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Garage *****]
Quickly point the crosshairs at the south end of the garage and order Bravo
1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, quickly move south, locate and
kill all of the paramilitaries in the west alcove and south end of the
garage before the smoke clears.
Once all of the paramilitaries have been killed, move to the left (north)
side of the wide ramp leading to the roof. There are three paramilitaries
on the roof, two are usually on the north side and one is on the west side
near the destroyed car. Move 1/2 way up the ramp and order Fireteam to Hold
Position. Point the crosshairs at the ground at the top of the ramp and
order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move onto the garage
roof. Quickly locate and kill the paramilitaries on the roof before the
smoke clears.
[***** Primary Objective – Neutralize Goldbug *****]
Move to the north side of the roof and then go west until reaching the
structure in the corner. Move to the left corner of the structure. There
are three paramilitaries and Goldbug on the stadium concourse to the west
and/or northwest. Stand, peek left and shoot each paramilitary and Goldbug
when in view. You may need to move to the left (south) side of the roof in
order to get a clear shot at all of them. Do not worry if not all three of
the paramilitaries are killed.
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Streets *****]
Move back to the wide ramp leading to the second floor. Move down the ramp
and order Fireteam to Follow. Move to the northwest corner. Follow the
hallway to the ramp leading down to the exterior door. Once outside, move
west across the street and stay on the left (south) side of the small walls
on the sidewalk. Continue along the sidewalk until reaching the far (west)
end of the second wall. Order Bravo to Hold Position. There is a
paramilitary patrolling left and right (north and south) across the
intersection to the northwest, but sometimes he will remain standing near
the destroyed car on the north road of the intersection. There are also two
paramilitaries near the destroyed car on the north road of the intersection.
There are also four paramilitaries in the area further west by the machine
gun turrets near the stadium (two on the left side and two on the right).
Carefully locate the paramilitary patrolling in the intersection without
being spotted. When he is on the right (north) of the intersection, throw a
smoke grenade to the right of the CHARLIE NAV point marker. When the smoke
begins to appear, run to the intersection, locate and shoot the patrolling
paramilitary. Quickly move to the north road, locate and shoot the two
paramilitaries near the car.
Once all of the paramilitaries have been killed, point the crosshairs at the
ground by the rear of the driver's (east) side of the destroyed car on the
right (east) side of the road and order Able 2 to Move To. Be sure Jester
is out of view of the area by the stadium to the southwest. Quickly move to
the rear (north) side of the car before the smoke clears. Get into the
prone position and crawl right until the area by the stadium to the
southwest is in view. Shoot any of the paramilitaries that are in view.
Once the first paramilitary has been killed, the others will move to the
machine gun turrets on the left and right sides of the area. Shoot each
paramilitary before being spotted. (Tip: Wait until the paramilitary is
manning the machine gun turret since this makes the shot easier since he
will not be moving.)
[***** Primary Objective – Infiltrate Brickworks *****]
Order Able to 2 Follow. Move west across the street to the building and
then go left until reaching the right side of the door. There is a
paramilitary patrolling inside of the building and he will also walk into
the adjoining room to the west. Be careful since he may move outside.
Point the crosshairs at the ground by the door and order Able 2 to Deploy
Smoke. When the smoke appears, move into the room, locate and kill the
paramilitary inside of the room.
Once the paramilitary is dead, move to the left side of the door leading
into the adjoining room to the west. There are three paramilitaries in the
furnace room to the west and one or more may also be around the corner on
the ramp in the southeast corner leading to the roof. Throw a smoke grenade
into the furnace room. When the smoke appears, move into the furnace room,
locate and kill the paramilitaries before the smoke clears.

Move southeast across the room to the ramp in the corner leading to the
roof. Move up the ramp until reaching the roof door. There is a
paramilitary on the east side of the roof. Point the crosshairs at the
ground by the door and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke
appears, move through the door and go to the east side of the roof. Quickly
kill the paramilitary before the smoke clears.
Once the paramilitary is dead, move to the orange barrels in the southeast
corner of the roof. Point the crosshairs at the barrels until the C4 Charge
special action icon is displayed. Place a C4 charge and quickly move away
before the charge explodes.

Move back to the door and go down the ramp into the furnace room. Point the

Move south across the street to the left of the left machine gun turret and

Move west to the stairs and then proceed up them to ECHO. Go right down the
tunnel until it turns left in the lighted tunnel.

Follow the tunnel to the ramp leading to the second floor. Move up the
ramp, staying on the right side. When reaching the top, stop at the corner.
Two paramilitaries may be in the tunnel to the right (east). One of them
will be walking in the main tunnel and the first tunnel on the right. The
other will be walking in the main tunnel and the second tunnel on the right.
If they are not there, they will "appear" once the Fireteam begins moving in
the tunnel. Face right and peek left to see if the paramilitaries are in
the tunnel. If so, quickly shoot them before being spotted. Otherwise,
order Fireteam to Fire At Will and SLOWLY move west through the tunnel.
Continue moving west until the first paramilitary appears. When he does,
Fireteam will shoot him and the second paramilitary will appear. Once
Fireteam has shot the second paramilitary, order Fireteam to Hold Fire.
Move east through the tunnel until reaching the first tunnel on the right
leading to the outside. There may be a paramilitary manning the machine gun
turret on the stadium wall. If there is, shoot him.
Continue moving east through the tunnel until it turns right (south). Stop
when reaching the first tunnel on the left leading to the outside. If not
all of the paramilitaries on the concourse were killed when killing Goldbug
earlier, one or more of them may be walking in the tunnel. Use the third
person view to see if there are any paramilitaries walking in the tunnel.
If there are, point the crosshairs at the ground by the entrance of the
tunnel and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move
south to the second tunnel on the left with a ramp leading up. Proceed up
the ramp and then follow the tunnel to the first ramp on the right leading
into the stadium. Go up the ramp into the stadium and turn left. Proceed
to the first opening on the right with the ramp leading down. There may be
three paramilitaries standing in the corner to the southwest. There may
also be a paramilitary out of view manning the machine gun turret on the
wall to the southwest. If the paramilitaries are present in the corner,
shoot them, starting with the one that is furthest away. One or both of the
other two paramilitaries may retreat west behind the building. Quickly
shoot them before they do. Once the paramilitaries in the corner have been
killed, face left and slowly move down the ramp until the machine gun turret
is in view. If there is a paramilitary manning it, shoot him and then move
back up the ramp.
Follow the concourse south and west until reaching the opening on the right
with the ramp leading down on the south side of the stadium. There are
three paramilitaries near the closest building on the field, but one or more
may be out of view. There are also three paramilitaries by the building to
the northwest. There are also two paramilitaries either patrolling inside
of the area enclosed by barbed wire in the center of the field (possibly out
of view) or inside of the far north building inside of the enclosed area.
Shoot any of the paramilitaries that are visible in the south, west or
center areas of the stadium.
Follow the concourse west and then north until reaching the opening with the
ramp leading down on the west side of the stadium. If the paramilitaries
were not in the first (southeast) corner of the stadium, they will be in the
north section. Shoot any of the paramilitaries that are visible in the
west, south, north or center areas of the stadium. (Note: You may need to
stand and move south along the wall to see the paramilitary at the machine
gun turret.)
Follow the concourse north and east until reaching the opening with the ramp
leading down on the north side of the stadium. Shoot any of the
paramilitaries that are visible in the north, west or center areas of the
stadium. (Note: You may need to stand and move west along the wall to see
some of the paramilitaries in the west area.)
Once all of the visible paramilitaries have been killed, move south down the
ramp.
[***** Secondary Objective – Demo Gas Pumps *****]
If both of the paramilitaries inside of the area enclosed by barbed wire
were not killed, Sandman will eventually say, "Specter, you need to disable
those gas pumps. You're running out of time!" When this happens, a 3:30
timer will appear. If the timer reaches 0:00 before the objective is
completed, the mission is a failure.
Proceed right and move along the concourse until reaching the ramp on the
left leading to the ground. Order Bravo to Hold Position. Move down the
ramp and when reaching the bottom, go through the opening in the fence near
the water tank. Go right (southwest) to the right side of the barbed wire
enclosed area. Move south along the fence until reaching the area's door
(with an orange triangle sign on it). Order Able 2 to Hold Position and
open the door. If the Neutralize Guards objective has not been completed,
the remaining paramilitary may be inside of the left building. Throw a
smoke grenade at the door of the building. Once the smoke begins to appear,
quickly move to the door and open it. Shoot the paramilitary if he is
inside.
Move inside of the building and point the crosshairs at the tanks on the
right side until the C4 Charge special action icon is displayed. Place a C4
charge and quickly move away before the charge explodes. Once the gas tanks
have been destroyed, the mission is complete.

Walkthrough/Strategy:
General tip: Many defense force members in this mission carry the 552 that
has compatible ammunition for the M4A1 and can be picked up after the
defense force member has been killed.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Move along the left side of the street until reaching the white van at
CHARLIE. There is a defense force member standing on the street to the
northeast and three near the intersection at DELTA, two of which are
patrolling back and forth across the street. Move to the right side of the
van. Shoot the defense force member standing in the street when the two
patrolling defense force members at DELTA are not visible. Throw a smoke
grenade toward the intersection at DELTA. Once the smoke begins to appear,
quickly run to DELTA. Locate and kill the defense force members at the
intersection before the smoke clears. One of the defense force members may
move southeast up the street. Be careful when pursuing him to avoid being
spotted.
Once all of the defense force members have been killed, order Bravo to Hold
Position. From the intersection, go left (north) into the alley, staying
along the building on the right, until reaching the barrels where it turns
right. There is a single defense force member patrolling west and east in
the alley (he will stop and turn around before reaching the corner where you
are at). Watch his movements using the third person view. When he turns
around and is walking away, move around the corner and quickly shoot him
before he turns back around.
Once the defense force member has been killed, follow the alley until
reaching the small opening in the short wall on the right after passing
WHISKEY. Order Able 2 to Hold Position. There are three defense force
members on the opposite side of the canal to the north. Two of them will be
to the right of the bridge over the canal and the other will be on the left
side. Point the crosshairs at the ground between you and Jester and order
Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move around the wall and
shoot the defense force member on the left side of the bridge. Be careful
since the defense force member on the left may retreat to the north building
making it harder to get a clear shot. Quickly shoot the defense force
members to the right of the bridge before the smoke clears.
Once the defense force members are dead, move to the right side of the
bridge and turn right. Follow the narrow ledge along the building. Pick up
the sausage at the end of the ledge.
[***** Secondary Objective – At Communications Tower *****]
Turn around and follow the ledge back to the bridge. Go left and move back
to Jester's location. Order Able 2 to Follow and follow the alley back to
the intersection at DELTA. Order Bravo to Follow. Move south along the
street, past the barricade, until reaching the front of the car at ECHO.
Order Fireteam to Hold Position, making sure Jester has moved past the
barricade. There is a defense force member in the alley on the right just
past the car. Point the crosshairs at the LEFT side of the street across
from the alley and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke begins to
appear, quickly move to the alley and kill the defense force member before
the smoke clears.
After the defense force member is dead, move back to the driver's side door
of the car by Fireteam's location. There is a defense force member at the
end of the alley to the northeast. VERY QUIETLY, move northeast through the
alley and shoot the defense force member when there is a clear shot. (Tip:
Stay as far away as possible from the defense force member to avoid being
heard and spotted.)
Once the defense force member has been killed, move back to Fireteam's
location and order Fireteam to Follow. Move southeast along the street
until reaching the rear of the white van on the right side of the street.
Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There are two defense force members inside
of the enclosed area to the east. One of them will be manning the machine
gun turret just inside of the entrance on the west side and the other will
be to the right (south) of the machine gun turret. There are also two
defense force members inside of the communications building on the left
(north) side. There are also two defense force members walking outside of
the area along the rear (east) and right (south) sides, but sometimes one or
both of them will remain on the east side. Get into the prone position and
crawl right until the area to the right (south) of the enclosed area is in
view. Wait for the two patrolling defense force members to appear. If they
do, shoot the rear defense force member first and then the one in front.
The defense force member inside of the enclosed area in the south section
may move out to investigate. Shoot him if he does.
Move left until the white car to the northeast is visible. Point the
crosshairs at the barrel at the corner near the car and order Bravo 2 to
Deploy Smoke. Order Able 2 to Follow. When the smoke appears, quickly move
northeast to the area's entrance and shoot the defense force member manning
the machine gun turret.
Quickly point the crosshairs at the communications building to the left and
order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the second smoke begins to appear, move
to the building door on the south side. If the patrolling defense force
members were not killed earlier, locate them outside of the area and shoot
them. Quickly move inside of the building, locate and kill the two defense
force members inside of the room (be careful since one of them may move
outside of the building) before the smoke clears.
Once both defense force members are dead, place a satchel by the
communications equipment along the north or east wall.

Move out of the building and go right to the area's entrance. Order Bravo
to Follow. Turn right and go north until reaching the truck. Turn left and
go into the alley. At the intersection, turn right and move to the ladder
leading into the sewer. Climb down the ladder and when reaching the bottom,
turn right and follow the sewer until it turns right. There are two defense
force members standing in the sewer around the corner by the weapons cache.
Peek left around the corner and throw a smoke grenade into the alcove on the
left side of the sewer containing the weapons cache. Be sure the smoke
grenade lands inside of the alcove since it will not work if it lands in
water. Once the smoke begins to appear, move around the corner and kill
both defense force members.
Once both defense force members have been killed, move to the alcove on the
left. Point the crosshairs at the crates until the C4 Charge special action
icon is displayed. Order Fireteam to Place C4 and quickly move away before
the charge explodes.
[***** Secondary Objective – At Electrical Station *****]
Continue north through the sewer until reaching the ladder. Climb up the
ladder and when reaching the top, turn right and move north to the building
corner (approximately 84m from ROMEO). Order Fireteam to Hold Position.
There may be a defense force member walking on the bridge over the railroad
tracks to the northwest, otherwise he will be in the area to the north
between the two sets of train tracks. There are also six more defense force
members in the area near the electrical station at ROMEO. Two of them will
be in the northeast area and two will be in the northwest area (one of which
is sometimes in the far northwest area). There is also a defense force
member in the area to the north between the two sets of train tracks and
there is a sniper on the roof of either the far north or northwest building,
but sometimes he does not "appear" until you start moving to the north.
Shoot the defense force member walking on the bridge over the railroad
tracks if he is visible. Point the crosshairs directly north at the train
car and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move north
to the train car and go around the right side. Jump onto the tracks and
move north until the defense force member in the area between the tracks is
visible. He may be either on the west platform or on the train tracks to
the left. Locate him and shoot him. If the defense force member was not on
the bridge over the railroad tracks, locate and shoot him.
Once the defense force member is dead, quickly turn around and climb up the
ledge to the left (east) of the train car before the smoke clears. Turn
around and get into the prone position. Shoot the defense force members in
the northeast area when there is a clear shot. Crawl right until the
defense force members in the northwest area are in view. Quickly shoot them
before being spotted. Be careful since falling off the ledge to the
railroad tracks will cause injury. Finally, shoot the sniper on the roof of
the building.
When all of the defense force members have been killed, order Fireteam to
Follow. Move north across both sets of railroad tracks until reaching the
electrical station enclosed by a barbed wire fence. Go to the entrance on
the left (west) side. Move to the control panel at ROMEO and place at
satchel at it.

Move out of the enclosed area and go south to the first set of railroad
tracks. Turn left and move along the tracks to PAPA. Follow the tunnel
until it begins to turn south (approximately 55m from LIMA). There are two
defense force members standing in the tunnel. Point the crosshairs at the
southeast wall and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke begins to
appear, move around the corner and kill both defense force members.
Once both defense force members are dead, continue through the tunnel until
5m from LIMA. Move to the right side of the tunnel and order Fireteam to
Hold Position. There is a defense force member patrolling on the railroad
tracks on the bridge to the east and another on the far east end of the
railroad tracks. There is also a defense force member manning the machine
gun turret on the west side of the bridge. There are also two snipers on
the building roofs on the opposite side of the canal. One of them will be
walking on the roof either to the northeast or on the roof to the southeast.
The other will be standing on the southeast roof. Shoot the sniper on the
northeast roof if he is visible.
Move to the left side of the tunnel and then ahead until the sniper on the
southeast roof is in view (or sometimes will "appear"). If the sniper was
not on the northeast roof and is visible on the southeast roof, shoot him
also.
Once the sniper is killed, immediately get into the prone position. Crawl
backwards until the defense force member manning the machine gun turret is
visible (approximately 8m from LIMA). Quickly shoot him before being
spotted. Watch for one or both of the defense force members on the railroad
tracks to the east to move to investigate. If they do, quickly shoot them
before being spotted.
Order Able 2 to Follow and throw a smoke grenade to the bottom of the track
incline. When the smoke appears, run to it and throw another smoke grenade
as far east along the railroad tracks as possible. When the second smoke
appears, run to the top of the incline, locate and kill the defense force
members on the track to the east (one or both of them may also be by the
radar truck on the right (south) side of the bridge). If the sniper was not
on the northeast roof and has not been killed on the southeast roof, quickly
locate and shoot him before the smoke clears.
Turn around and move west along the railroad tracks toward LIMA. There is a
defense force member on the road up the hill to the left near JULIET, but he
may be out of view. There is also another one further west on the road past
the barricade, but will be out of view. Shoot the defense force member by
JULIET if he is visible.
When reaching the start of the fence on the wall to the right (approximately
21m from LIMA), order Able 2 to Hold Position. Point the crosshairs at the
wall and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, climb up the
wall and get into the prone position. There are three defense force members
on the opposite side of the canal to the east and southeast under the
bridge. Crawl ahead (east) until reaching the two barrels. Crawl left
(north) and ahead (east) until each defense force member is visible.
Quickly shoot as many of them before the smoke clears. If the smoke clears
and not all of the defense force members are dead, throw a smoke grenade
east toward the canal (but not in it). When the smoke appears, move east
and shoot the remaining defense force members.
Once the defense force members are dead, turn around and move back to the
railroad tracks. Order Able 2 to Follow and move east across the bridge to
the radar truck on the right. Place a satchel by the radar truck.
[***** Primary Objective – Move to Extract *****]
Turn around and go west across the bridge until reaching the start of the
fence on the wall to the right (approximately 21m from LIMA). Order Bravo
to Follow and climb up the wall. Move east to the canal and then north
until reaching the CRRC in the extraction zone. (Note: If the CRRC is
destroyed, the mission is a failure.) Once the Fireteam reaches the
extraction zone, the mission is complete.

Swim southeast to the dock and climb onto it. There is a defense force
member above on the right side of the bridge to the southeast. DO NOT SHOOT
HIM! Proceed up the stairs and when reaching the top, turn right and go
west until reaching the guard tower.
Move through the guard tower into the courtyard. There is a defense force
member patrolling west and east on the sidewalk to the far left (east).
Wait until he is out of view to the east or walking away. When he is, turn
right and move to the wall. Turn left and follow the wall until reaching
the first set of stairs.
Go up the stairs and turn left at the top. Move south along the walkway
until reaching the second set of stairs. There is a single defense force
member patrolling east and west by DELTA. After reaching the stairs, move
to the top and then go south until reaching the stairs leading down into the
courtyard. There is a defense force member either standing to the southeast
or patrolling toward the stairs. There is also a defense force member to
the east by the statue in the center of the courtyard. Be sure to remain
behind the small wall to the left of the stairs to avoid being spotted. If
the defense force member is walking near the stairs, wait until he turns
around and is walking away. When he does, move around the wall and shoot
him.
Move down the stairs and go right. Follow the wall south until reaching the
large tree. Shoot the defense force member standing near the building to
the southeast.
Once the defense force member is killed, continue south along the wall until
reaching the entrance leading to the parking lot. Move southeast to ROMEO
and then east until reaching the stairs. Go up the stairs to the door.
Open the door and proceed into the kitchen.
***** CHECKPOINT *****
General tip: While in the building, be sure to move slowly to avoid being
heard by the defense force members. Even though the defense force members
are killed with a silent weapon, other nearby ones will hear it and move to
investigate. Remain alert since the nearby defense force members may appear
unexpectedly.

Turn left and go the pantry shelf on the left (west) wall. Pick up the
sausage on the left side of the fourth shelf from the top.
[***** Primary Objective – Obtain Intel *****]
Turn right and look toward the door near FOXTROT. There may be a defense
force member patrolling in the hall to the right. Point the crosshairs at
the ground in the center of the doorway and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke.
When the smoke appears, move through the door into the hallway. Quickly
locate and kill the defense force member if he is present.
Quickly turn right and go to the first door on the left leading into an
office. There is a defense force member inside of the office. Open the
door and move inside of the office. Quickly locate and kill the defense
force member before the smoke clears.
After the defense force member is dead, point the crosshairs at the door in
the northeast corner leading into a conference room. There are one or two
defense force members inside of the conference room. Order Bravo 2 to
Deploy Smoke. When the smoke begins to appear, move to the door, open it
and go into the conference room. Locate and kill the defense force members
inside of the room. If there is only one inside of the room, the other one
will be in the large room through the door in the northeast corner. If the
defense force member was not in the hallway earlier at FOXTROT, he may also
be in the large room through the door in the northeast corner. Move through
the door, locate and shoot the defense force members before the smoke
clears.
Once both defense force members have been killed, pickup the IED blueprints
on the left (south) side of the table in the conference room (1 of 5).
Go back into the office and then to the hallway at FOXTROT. Turn right and
then immediately turn right again. Follow the hallway north and east until
reaching ECHO. Continue moving east and south through the hallway until
reaching the hallway leading to INDIA. Order Fireteam to Hold Position.
There is a defense force member near the hallway on the right at INDIA, one
may be inside of the room (library) on the left side of the hallway on the
right at INDIA and one in the room (office) directly across the hall from
the library. Peek left around the corner and throw a smoke grenade toward
the on the right at INDIA. When the smoke appears, move to INDIA, locate
and shoot the defense force member in the hallway. Quickly move to the
library door, open it and go inside. Locate and kill the defense force
member inside of the library (he may also have moved out of the door on the
west side of the room). Quickly move north across the hallway to the
office. Move into the office, locate and kill the defense force member
inside before the smoke clears.
Once both defense force members have been killed, move back into the
library. Pick up the blueprints on the small table along the north wall (2
of 5).
Return to Fireteam's location in the hallway and order Fireteam to Follow.
Move back through the halls to the kitchen at FOXTROT. Move into the
kitchen and go south to the ladder. Climb the ladder and when reaching the
top, turn left and move toward the left door leading into the hallway.
There is a defense force member in the hallway to the right outside of the
door. Once all of the Fireteam are at the top, point the crosshairs at the
door and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, open the
door, locate and kill the defense force member in the hallway before the
smoke clears.
There are one or two defense force members inside of the office to the
northeast. Throw a smoke grenade at the door and when the smoke appears,
open the door and go inside of the office. Locate and kill the defense
force members inside of the office.
Throw a smoke grenade toward the door in the northwest corner (another
office). There one or two defense force members inside of the office. When
the smoke appears, move into the room, locate and kill the defense force
members (who may also have moved through the east door into the hallway).
After the defense force member(s) are dead, pick up the white map hanging on
the east wall (3 of 5).
[***** Primary Objective – Capture Snakebite *****]
Move south back into the first office. Point the crosshairs at the
southwest door and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears,
go out the door into the hallway. Be careful since a defense force member
may have moved into the hallway from the kitchen. Turn left and move east
through the hallway until reaching the door on the right (office). There
may be a defense force member inside of the office, but be careful since he
may move into the hallway. Point the crosshairs at the ground in front of
the door and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move
through the door into the office. Locate and kill the defense force member
in the room if he is present (who may have also moved west into the
kitchen).
Move to the left side of the east door leading into the large office. There
are two defense force members inside of the office, along with Snakebite.
Open the door (if not already open) and throw a smoke grenade into the room
toward the right (south) wall. When the smoke appears, move into the room
and kill the two defense force members. Be careful not to kill Snakebite
since killing him will cause a mission failure. Once both defense force
members are dead, move to Snakebite and rifle butt him until he surrenders.
Once he has surrendered, restrain him.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain All Intel *****]
Order Bravo to Hold Position. Point the crosshairs at the double doors to
the east leading into a second large office and order Bravo 2 to Deploy
Smoke. There is a defense force member inside of the office, usually behind
the desk on the east side. Another defense force member may have moved into
the office from the conference room door on the north side. When the smoke
begins to appear, move through the doors into the office. Locate and kill
the defense force members inside.
Move to the desk on the east side of the room. Pick up the codebook (dark
green book) on the east side of the desk (4 of 5).
Point the crosshairs at the north door leading into a conference room and
order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. There are two defense force members inside of
the conference room (or only one if he moved into the office and was already
killed). Be alert since one of them may open the door and move into the
office. When the smoke appears, open the door and go into the conference
room. Locate and kill the defense force members inside.
When the defense force members are dead, point the crosshairs at the double
doors on the west side of the room and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When
the smoke appears, move to the double doors, open them (if not open) and go
right. Move through the hallway until reaching the corner at the first
hallway on the right. There is a defense force member at the end of the
hallway and one or two inside of the last room on the left (office). Peek
left around the corner and throw a smoke grenade toward the end of the
hallway. When the smoke begins to appear, quickly move to the end of the
hall, locate and kill the defense force member in the hallway. Go into the
office on the left and kill the defense force members inside.
Once the defense force members have been killed, pick up laptop on the desk
in the northeast corner (5 of 5).
[***** Primary Objective – Move Snakebite to Extract *****]
Move back to the large office where Bravo and Snakebite are holding. Point
the crosshairs at Snakebite and order Bravo to Escort. Order Bravo to
Follow. Move east back into the second office. Go to the northeast corner
and turn right. Proceed down the hall and when reaching the end, go through
the door and proceed down the stairs in the tunnel. At the bottom, go
through the door into the small room and then through the door to the
outside. Move southeast to the extraction zone. If stealth was not
maintained when infiltrating the headquarters (i.e., Maintain Stealth
secondary objective was failed), the extraction zone is across the canal
from the mission's starting location. Once Snakebite is in the extraction
zone, the mission is complete.

Walkthrough/Strategy:

[***** Bonus Objective – Destroy Transport *****]
Begin moving northwest. There are two defense force members patrolling east
by the facility entrance at CHARLIE. Continue northwest until reaching the
pile of snow leading to the top of the fence. Move up the pile and into the
facility. Move northwest to the west side of the closest building. Move
north until reaching the corner. There is a defense force member standing
on the road to the northeast, facing away. Shoot him.
Once the defense force member is dead, turn north. There is a defense force
member standing on the left side of the road by the snowman. Two additional
defense force members will be out of view to the north, but will walk south
along the road. Occasionally only one of them will walk along the road. If
this happens, the other one will be standing in the road to the north.
There is also a sniper on top of the stairs on the catwalk of the building
to the northwest, currently out of view. Wait until the defense force
members walking along the road are visible. When they are visible, shoot
both of them and then shoot the defense force member by the snowman.
Move west across the road to the garage building and then north to the metal
stairs leading up to the catwalk of the building to the northwest. If one
of the defense force members did not walk along the road, while moving
north, watch for him to come into view on the road and quickly shoot him
before being spotted.
When reaching the bottom of the metal stairs, order Fireteam to Hold
Position. Slowly move up the right side of the stairs and shoot the sniper
at the top if he is standing. If the sniper is not standing, use the third
person view to determine his location when nearing the top. Quietly move up
to the top of the stairs and shoot him before being spotted.
Once the sniper has been killed, move back down the stairs and order
Fireteam to Follow. Move northeast to the road and then follow the road
until it turns east. There is a cargo truck sitting at INDIA, facing east,
with one defense force member in the driver's seat. Move along the road
until 40m from INDIA. Point the crosshairs at the center of the road just
ahead of the Fireteam's position and order Bravo 2 to Move To. When he is
in position, point the crosshairs at the cargo truck and order Bravo 2 to
Takedown. Simple will destroy the truck with the AT-4.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Order Bravo 2 to Follow and move west along the road until it turns south.
Move southwest until reaching the snowman. The sausage is located inside of
the snowman. Point the crosshairs at the snowman and order Bravo 2 to
Deploy HE. When the grenade explodes, it will destroy the snowman. Pick up
the sausage located inside of the snowman's remains.
[***** Primary Objective – Neutralize Death Squad *****]
Move northwest to the metal stairs leading up to the catwalk. Move up the
stairs and when reaching the top, move to the right side of the door on the
left (south) side of the building. There is a mercenary inside of the room
behind the door or in the northwest hallway. Point the crosshairs at the
ground by the door and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke
appears, open the door and quickly shoot the mercenary inside of the room or
in the northwest hallway before the smoke clears.
Move northwest to the hallway and follow it north and east until reaching
the top of the stairs. There are four mercenaries located on the two floors
below. Throw a smoke grenade down the stairs to the southeast. When the
smoke begins to appear, quickly move down the stairs, locate and kill any of
the mercenaries on the second floor before the smoke clears.
When the second floor is clear of mercenaries, move south to the railing of
the stairs leading to the bottom floor. Throw a smoke grenade over the
railing down the stairs. When the smoke appears, quickly move down the
stairs, locate and kill the mercenaries on the ground floor before the smoke
clears. Note that one or more of the mercenaries may move out either the
north or south doors. Be careful if pursuing them out the doors to avoid
being spotted.
[***** Secondary Objective – Defuse First Bomb *****]
Move back to the stairs and go up to the second floor. Turn right and move
to the explosives on the left side of the equipment. Point the crosshairs
at the explosives until the Defuse Bomb special action icon appears. Select
to defuse the explosives. The defusing process will take 10 seconds.
During this time, DO NOT MOVE since moving will cause the process to need to
be restarted from the beginning.

Go back down the stairs and move outside through the north door. Move north
past the pipes on the right. After passing the pipes, turn right and move
east to the road. Follow the road east, past INDIA, until it turns right
(south). Move southeast across the road to the horizontal pipes. Be alert
since a defense force member may be behind the Fireteam in the area to the
west of the large tanks. When reaching the horizontal pipes, move south to
the building and then go right (west) to the corner. There is a defense
force member patrolling on the balcony of the building to the southwest and
another standing on the street to the southwest. Wait until the defense
force member on the balcony is on the left side and when he is, shoot the
defense force member standing on the street. Quickly shoot the defense
force member on the balcony before being spotted.
Once both defense force members are dead, move south along the building
until reaching the corner at the bottom of the stairs. There are two
defense force members walking on the road to the southeast, one of them
usually further ahead of the other and another defense force member standing
further south on the road but is sometimes not visible. Quickly shoot both
of the walking defense force members before being spotted. If the defense
force member standing further south on the road is in view, shoot him also.
Move up the stairs and when reaching the top, go left and stop at the left
side of the door. Open the door, but stay out of view to the left of it.
There is a defense force member on the catwalk that runs along each wall,
usually somewhere near the far corner. Use the third person view to
determine the defense force member's location. When he has been found, peek
right and shoot him before being spotted.
There are three defense force members on the second floor or on the far west
side of the first floor. Their location will be at whichever location has
the explosives. Throw a smoke grenade into the center of the room over the
catwalk so that it lands on the second floor. When the smoke appears, move
into the room and turn right. Move to the edge of the catwalk and if the
defense force members are on the second floor, stand and quickly shoot them
before the smoke clears.
Move to the ladder on the north side and climb down it. If the defense
force members were on the second floor, the explosives will be next to the
right control panel. Point the crosshairs at the explosives until the
Defuse Bomb special action icon appears. Select to defuse the explosives.
Move east to the stairs. If the defense force members were not on the
second floor, point the crosshairs at the bottom of the stairs and order
Able to 2 Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move down the stairs, turn
right and quickly move to the far side of the room. Locate and kill the
defense force members before the smoke clears. Once the defense force
members are dead, move to the explosives along the west wall. Point the
crosshairs at the explosives until the Defuse Bomb special action icon
appears. Select to defuse the explosives.

Move to the door on the east side leading outside. Move through the door
and then go southwest until reaching the stairs on the side of the first
building on the left. Move up the first flight of stairs. There is a

near the explosives. There are also three more defense force members at the
far (south) end of the hall on the left near the explosives. Point the
crosshairs at the door and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke
appears, open the door, quickly locate and kill the defense force member if
he is behind the door or in the hallway. Point the crosshairs at the far
end of the hall and quickly order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke before the first
smoke clears. Quickly move down the hall, locate and kill the defense force
members in the area near the explosives before the smoke clears.
Once all of the defense force members at the end of the hall have been
killed, move to the explosives in the southeast corner. Point the
crosshairs at the explosives until the Defuse Bomb special action icon
appears. Select to defuse the explosives.

Move north back down the hallway to the door. Move outside and go left down
the stairs. At the bottom, go northwest to the door at FOXTROT. Be careful
since a defense force member is on the road between the buildings to the
south, but he should not see the Fireteam. When reaching the door, go
inside and follow the hallway until reaching the corner leading to the large
room.
If the explosives are in the large room (as determined by the location of
the explosives NAV point marker), there will be three defense force members
near the explosives by the right (north) wall and a defense force member on
the east balcony above. Point the crosshairs at the ground to the left and
order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move around the
corner and quickly shoot the three defense force members in the north area.
Quickly point the crosshairs at the bottom of the stairs and order Bravo 1
to Deploy Smoke before the smoke clears. When the smoke appears, begin
moving backwards up the stairs. Locate and shoot the defense force member
on the balcony before the smoke clears.
Move back down the stairs and go to the explosives on the north wall. Point
the crosshairs at the explosives until the Defuse Bomb special action icon
appears. Select to defuse the explosives.
If the explosives are not in the large room, go west to the short hallway on
the left leading into another large room. Go through the hallway and when
reaching the next large room, go right. Move along the wall until reaching
the corner of the long hallway on the right. Be alert since there are three
defense force members in the office area on the south end of the second
floor, but they should be out of view. When reaching the corner, there is a
defense force member standing at the end of the hallway. There is another
defense force member at the west end of the room at the end of the hallway.
Point the crosshairs at the floor to the left and order Bravo 1 to Deploy
Smoke. When the smoke appears, move into the hallway and shoot the defense
force member standing at the end. Move down the hallway, locate and shoot
the defense force member at the west end, although sometimes he stays out of
view in the west hallway. If this happens, point the crosshairs at the west
wall and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. Order Fireteam to Hold Position.
When the smoke appears, run to the west hallway, locate and shoot the
defense force member. Quickly run back to Fireteam's location before the
smoke clears and order Fireteam to Follow.
Move to the end of the long hallway, but do not go past the corner. There
are three defense force members in the office area to the right (north).
Using the third person view, peek left and throw a smoke grenade toward the
office area when there are no defense force members visible. When the smoke
appears, move north into the office area. Quickly locate and kill all of
the defense force members before the smoke clears.
Once all of the defense force members are dead, move to the explosives on
the south wall next to the table. Point the crosshairs at the explosives
until the Defuse Bomb special action icon appears. Select to defuse the
explosives.

If the fourth bomb was found in the large room, move south to the short

left. A defense force member sometimes walks east out of the long hallway
on the right. Throw a smoke grenade south toward the door. When the smoke
appears, move south along the right side of the stairs until reaching the
stairs.
If the fourth bomb was found in the office area, move south down the hall
until reaching the long hallway on the left. Go down the hallway and at the
end, go left to the bottom of the stairs. Order Fireteam to Hold Position.
There are three defense force members inside of the office directly
overhead. Face south and move backwards up approximately 1/3 of the stairs.
Throw a smoke grenade over the railing to the right (southwest). When the
smoke appears, quickly move to the top, turn left and go toward the office.
Locate and kill the three defense force members in the office area. Be
aware that one of them may move out of the east door of the office into the
hallway. In addition, there is a defense force member in the next area to
the northeast and he may appear to investigate.
Once the three defense force members are dead, move to the explosives in the
northwest corner of the office. Point the crosshairs at the explosives
until the Defuse Bomb special action icon appears. Select to defuse the
explosives. Once the bomb has been defused, the mission is complete.

Walkthrough/Strategy:
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Badger *****]
Move north until reaching the small, brick walls. A sniper will appear from
behind the trees on the left (west) side of the hill ahead to the north and
walk to the right (east) side. Shoot him as he is walking to the right.
Order Bravo to Hold Position, turn around and move southwest to the lone
tree. Order Able 2 to Hold Position. Crawl southwest until reaching the
edge of the small, brick wall and the barricade at DELTA is visible. There
are five defense force members in the area near DELTA. One of them is a
sniper on the ridge to the west and another sniper is on the hill to the
southwest. There is a defense force member in front of the barricade and
two behind it. Shoot the sniper on the ridge to the west.
Once the sniper is dead, slowly crawl forward until there is a clear shot of
the defense force members at the barricade. Shoot the defense force member
in front of the barricade. Point the crosshairs at the corner of the small
wall and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, quickly
shoot the two defense force members behind the barricade and then the
defense force member on the southwest hill, who may move to the road to
investigate, before the smoke clears. (Note: There is an invisible barrier
at the wooden part of the barricade that prevents a defense force member
from being shot if he is behind it, even if there is a clear shot.)
Once the defense force members at the barricade are dead, order Able 2 to
Follow and move northeast back to Bravo's location. Order Bravo to Follow
and move northeast up the footpath in the snow on the hill. Follow the
footpath until reaching the tall tree near the wooden fence at the top of
the hill (ignore the nearby explosions since they will not hit you or the
team). There are four defense force members to the southwest shooting at
the cargo truck and Badger, although Badger may have killed several of them.
Throw a smoke grenade southwest toward Badger and the cargo truck. When the
smoke appears, move left around the rock and move into the smoke. Shoot any
defense force members that are visible. Quickly point the crosshairs at the
road to the southwest and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke before the first
smoke clears. Once the second smoke appears, move along the road, locate
and kill the remaining defense force members before the smoke clears. If
Badger is killed, the mission is a failure.
[***** Secondary Objective – Demo Road Barrier *****]
Get into the truck and drive it along the road toward the roadblock at
DELTA.
***** CHECKPOINT *****
When approximately 60m from DELTA, get out the truck. Point the crosshairs
at the barrier and order Fireteam to Place C4. Jester will plant a C4
charge on the barrier.
[***** Crosstalk Objective – Avoid KA-50 Helicopter *****]
Get back into the truck and when the entire Fireteam is in the truck, turn
left and drive southeast down the path until reaching the frozen lake.
(Note: If the original road is followed, there are two ambushes further
along on the road. The ambush on the right has two defense force members
and the ambush on the left has five.)
When reaching the frozen lake, get out of the truck and get into the prone
position. There is a KA-50 helicopter circling over the lake to the right
(west). There are also two defense force members on the hill across the
lake to the south. One of them is standing in the middle and the other will
walk down the path on the right side toward the lake. Wait until the
defense force member walking on the path is approximately 1/2 way down the
path to the lake and when he is, shoot him. Shoot the defense force member
standing in the middle of the hill.
Once both defense force members have been killed, get back into the truck.
Drive southeast across the lake to the path on the left side of the hill.
Drive along the path up the hill and when reaching the top, turn right at
the footpath in the snow. Drive along the footpath until it ends at the
small walls (approximately 100m from KILO). Get out of the truck and move
southwest to the mountain. Follow the mountain until 58m from KILO. There
is a defense force member standing on the hill to the west, another one
standing on the ground near KILO and a third standing on the road east of
KILO at the bottom of the hill (currently out of view). There are also two
out of view behind the rock to the left (south) of KILO. Stand and shoot
the defense force member standing on the hill to the west. (Tip: To avoid
being spotted by the defense force member standing on the hill, have Bravo
throw a smoke grenade at your location before standing up.)
Once the defense force member standing on the hill to the west is dead,
throw a smoke grenade toward KILO. When the smoke appears, move to the edge
of the hill, quickly shoot the defense force member at KILO (who may have
moved to the first defense force member's location to investigate) and then
shoot the one on the road below before the smoke clears.
Throw a smoke grenade toward the left side of the large rock to the left of
KILO. When the smoke appears, run down the hill and go around the left side
of the rock. Locate and kill the two defense force members behind it.
Once the defense force members have been killed, move northeast back up the
hill to the cargo truck. Get back into the truck. (Note: Sometimes one or
more of the Fireteam members will get "stuck" behind the small walls and not
get into the truck. If this happens, drive around the left side of the
barricade to the hill overlooking KILO and order Fireteam to Follow.) When
the entire Fireteam is in the truck, drive around the left side of the
barricade. Continue driving southwest down the hill to KILO.
[***** Primary Objective – Clear Convoy Route *****]

Drive south along the footpath until reaching the main road. When reaching
the road, get out of the truck and move begin moving west along the road.
Continue moving along the road until reaching the abandoned truck. There
are two defense force members on the opposite side of the road by the large
rocks. They will be unable to see the Fireteam as long as you stay behind
the embankment. Continue along the road until the bridge is in view
(approximately 131m from FOXTROT). There are two defense force members
manning a machine gun turret on each side and are facing away. There is
also one on the left side of the road near the house (currently out of view)
and a sniper on the ridge behind (south) the house. Slowly move northwest
along the edge of the road until the defense force member by the house is
visible. Quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Once the defense force member has been shot, continue moving northwest along
the edge of the road until reaching the truck wreckage. Order Fireteam to
Hold Position. Shoot the defense force member manning the left machine gun
turret at the bridge and then shoot the one on the right.
After shooting the defense force members manning the machine gun turrets,
point the crosshairs west across the road and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke.
When the smoke appears, move west across the road. Locate the sniper on the
ridge to the left (south) and shoot him. Quickly move back to Fireteam's
location before the smoke clears.
Order Able 2 to Follow and move northwest until reaching the small wood
fence (approximately 22m from FOXTROT). There are two defense force members
facing away by the barricade in the center of the bridge. Point the
crosshairs at the barrier at FOXTROT and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When
the smoke appears, quickly move to the barricade. Point the crosshairs at
the barricade until the C4 Charge special action icon is displayed. Place a
C4 charge and quickly move away before the charge explodes.
[***** Bonus Objective – Destroy Enemy Armor *****]
Quickly move back to Bravo's location before the smoke clears. Order Bravo
to Follow and move southeast along the road until reaching the rock.
***** CHECKPOINT *****
Continue southeast along the road until reaching the cargo truck. Remember
when passing the abandoned truck that there are two defense force members on
the opposite side of the road by the large rocks. When reaching the cargo
truck, order Bravo to Hold Position. Move southwest across the road until
reaching the small gray rock. (Note: Be sure to watch Jester's position to
ensure that he is following you since if you get too far ahead, he may run
down the road and will be spotted by the defense force members by the MGL
turret). Get into the prone position. There are two defense force members
standing to the southeast in front of the MGL turret. Shoot the defense
force member on the left and then quickly shoot the one on the right before
being spotted.
Slowly move south until the far MGL turret is visible. There are two
defense force members standing near it. Quickly shoot each of them before
being spotted.
Move directly east across the road to the cliff (should be approximately 40m
north of the MGL turret). Order Bravo to Follow. When Bravo arrives,
quickly move south to the left side of the chimney in the ruins. Order
Fireteam to Hold Position. A tank will be sitting on the right side of the
road to the southwest. If the Fireteam is spotted, it will move toward them
along the road. There is another tank that will approach the road from the
south and stop on it. Each tank has two defense force members inside of it.
When the second tank is stopped in the road, move left to the corner of the
building ruins, making sure to not be spotted by the tank. Point the
crosshairs at the ground to the left just past the edge of the wall and
order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move left around the
wall, equip the AT-4 and shoot the second (closest) tank.
Once the tank has been shot, the defense force members inside of it will
jump out. Quickly locate and shoot both of them before the smoke clears.
One or both of them may also be killed by the tank's explosion.
Once both defense force members have been killed, order Able 2 to Follow and
move southwest to the building ruins by the MGL turret. You will not be
seen by the tank as long as you remain behind it. Once the ruins have been
reached, move northwest down the hill to the road. Point the crosshairs at
the middle of the road and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. As soon as the
smoke begins to appear, point the crosshairs at the tank and order Able 2 to
Takedown. Jester will shoot the tank with the M3. It is important for
Jester to shoot the tank just as the smoke begins to appear.
Once the tank has been shot, the defense force members inside of it will
jump out. Quickly locate and shoot both of them before the smoke clears.
One or both of them may also be killed by the tank's explosion.

Move back up the hill to the building ruins. Jump onto the crate on the
left side of the fireplace. Stand up and pick up the sausage on the mantel.

into the truck and when the entire Fireteam is in the truck, drive southeast

Walkthrough/Strategy:
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Courtyard *****]
Move ahead (north) to the courtyard entrance at the stone wall. Immediately
turn left and move to the wall. Go north until just past the first tree
(does not have any leaves) and get into the prone position. There are two
defense force members moving in the courtyard to the northeast by the
building's entrance. Shoot both of them before being spotted. (Note: They
will be difficult to hit since they are moving quickly.)
Once both defense force members are dead, move north just past the last tree
(without any leaves) and get into the prone position. Order Fireteam to
Hold Position. There are a total of seven defense force members in the
courtyard. One or two of them will be by the structure to the northeast in
the center of the courtyard. There may also be one to the left of the
structure. There are up to four near the ZSU to the northeast. Quickly
shoot any visible defense force members before being spotted. Occasionally
a defense force member will exit from the rear (south) side of the building
and move to the west side of the building. Listen for Fireteam to call out
his location and quickly shoot him before being spotted.
Crawl north toward the wall, occasionally looking northeast toward the
center of the courtyard and shooting any visible defense force members.
When approximately 1/2 way to the wall, the ZSU will be destroyed by a
missile from an aircraft. When reaching the wall, crawl right until
reaching the corner. Continue crawling north, looking to the north and the
east and killing the visible defense force members. (Tip: Look for the
Takedown special action icon to appear when scanning the area for enemies.)
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Bearcat *****]
Move south back to Fireteam's location and order Fireteam to Follow.
Continue south to the courtyard entrance where the mission began. Go left
(east) until reaching the stairs leading to the building's door. Go up the
stairs to the door. Open the door and proceed into the kitchen.
General tip: While in the building, be sure to move slowly to avoid being
heard by the defense force member. Even though the defense force members
are killed with a silent weapon, other nearby ones will hear it and move to
investigate. Remain alert since the nearby defense force members may appear
unexpectedly.
Turn left and go northwest toward the open door. There are two defense
force members in the hall, although sometimes one or both of them may be in
the room (office) to the northeast or at the far north end of the hall.
Point the crosshairs at the floor by the door and order Bravo 2 to Deploy
Smoke. When the smoke appears, move into the hall and shoot the defense
force members before the smoke clears. If either of them is not in the
hall, quickly move through the door to the northeast into the office. Shoot
the defense force member(s) in the room. If either of them is not in the
hallway or office, be alert since he may be out of view in the north hall
and could move down the hall towards the Fireteam.
Once both defense force members are dead, determine if Bearcat is in the
first or second office to the northeast. If his NAV point shows a distance
of approximately 10m or 25m, he is in the first or second office,
respectively. (Tip: You will hear Bearcat talking when you are near the
room where he is at.) There will be two mercenaries in the room guarding
him. If he is in the first office, point the crosshairs at the ground in
front of the door and order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke
appears, quickly open the door and kill the mercenaries inside of the room
before the smoke clears. Once the mercenaries have been killed, restrain
Bearcat. The mission is a failure if Bearcat is killed.
If Bearcat is in the second office, go into the first office. Point the
crosshairs at the door in the northeast corner of the room and order Bravo 2
to Deploy Smoke. Once the smoke appears, quickly move to the door, open it
and kill the mercenaries inside of the room before the smoke clears. Once
the mercenaries have been killed, restrain Bearcat. The mission is a
failure if Bearcat is killed.
Move back to the hallway and move east down the hall, staying on the left
side. Stop when reaching the corner. There may be a defense force member
in the center of the room near the statue. There may also a defense force
member patrolling on the second floor to the northeast. Point the
crosshairs east at the floor to the right of the first pillar and order
Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move into the room, look
for the defense force member in the center of the room and shoot him if he
is there. Shoot the defense force member on the second floor to the
northeast if he is visible. Do not worry if he is not in view.
Before the first smoke clears, point the crosshairs at the east wall and
order Bravo 2 to Deploy Smoke (or Bravo 1 if Bearcat was already located).
There may be two defense force members inside of the double doors on the
east wall leading into the library. Be careful since one of them may open
the door and move into the room. When the smoke appears, move into the
library, locate and shoot any defense force members inside. Sometimes one
of them will be between the shelves on the right side of the room.
If Bearcat has not been located, move to the door in the northeast corner of
the room. Bearcat, along with two mercenaries and sometimes a defense force
member, will be in the room (office) directly across the hall. Open the
door and throw a smoke grenade into the hallway. When the smoke begins to
appear, move across the hall into the office. Locate and kill the
mercenaries and any defense force members inside of the room. Once they
have been killed, restrain Bearcat. The mission is a failure if Bearcat is
killed.
[***** Secondary Objective – Secure Artwork *****]
Move back to the library if not already there. Move to the door in the
southeast corner of the room leading down into the tunnels. Go through the
door and begin moving down the stairs.
***** CHECKPOINT *****
Continue down the stairs until reaching the bottom. There are two defense
force members standing in the small room on the far right (east) side.
There is also a defense force member patrolling in the hallway on the left
side of the small room. Point the crosshairs at the bottom of the stairs
and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move right
around the corner and go toward the doorway on the far right side of the
room. Shoot the two defense force members in the room. Quickly move left
to the hall if necessary and shoot the defense force member in it before
being spotted and the smoke clears.
Once the defense force members are dead, move to the tunnel in the northeast
corner of the room. Follow the tunnel until it turns right (south). There
are two defense force members at the south end of the next tunnel. Point
the crosshairs at the ground to the left (east) and order Bravo 1 to Deploy
Smoke. When the smoke begins to appear, move around the corner and quickly
move down the tunnel. Locate and kill the defense force members who
sometimes will hide in the alcoves on the left and right side of the tunnel
before it turns left.
Once both defense force members have been killed, follow the tunnel to
JULIET. Continue following the tunnel until reaching the intersection.
Turn right and follow the tunnel until it ends at a door. Order Fireteam to
Hold Position. There are two defense force members inside of the room.
Point the crosshairs at the ground in front of the door and order Bravo 1 to
Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, open the door, go into the room and
shoot the defense force members inside. Be careful since there is a
mercenary outside of the closed door on the west side of the room.
[***** Bonus Objective – Obtain Sausage *****]
Move back into the west hall where Fireteam is holding. Close the door to
the artwork room and order Fireteam to Follow. Move south and west through
the hallway until it turns right just past the open door. Order Fireteam to
Hold Position. A mercenary is at the north end of the hall, but sometimes
he is in the east hallway. Point the crosshairs at the ground by the west
wall and order Bravo 1 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move around
the corner and kill the mercenary if he is at the end of the hall.
Move down the hall until reaching the door on the right. Open the door and
move inside of the room. Go to the second filing cabinet from the left
along the east wall (which is darker than the others). Open the drawer and
pick up the sausage inside of the drawer.
[***** Secondary Objective – Secure Gold Deposit *****]
Move west out of the door into the hall and go south to Fireteam's location.
Go through the open door and move 3/4 way down the stairs. There are three
defense force members in the room at the bottom of the stairs. One of them
will be on the outside of the enclosed area either on the north or east
side. The remaining two will be inside of the enclosed area. Face
northeast and throw a smoke grenade toward the east wall. When the smoke
appears, move around the corner, locate and shoot the defense force member
on the outside of the enclosed area.
Quickly move north and west around the enclosed area until reaching the
gate. Open the gate and move inside of the enclosed area. Quickly shoot
the two defense force members inside before the smoke clears.
[***** Primary Objective – Secure Resources *****]
[***** Secondary Objective – Secure Funds *****]
Move east and south around the enclosed area back to the stairs. Go up the
stairs and when reaching the top, order Fireteam to Follow. Move west and
north through the hallway until it turns right (east) at the corner just
past the door to the room where the sausage was found. There are two
mercenaries at the end of the hall and a third one if he was not killed
earlier at the north end of the hall (i.e., at Fireteam's current location).
Point the crosshairs at the ground by the north wall and order Bravo 1 to
Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears, move around the corner and quickly
kill the mercenaries at the end of the hall before the smoke clears.
Once the mercenaries are dead, move east through the hallway until it turns
left. If the door to the room on the left is open, close it. Turn left and
follow the hallway north until reaching the hallway on the right just past
the crates on the right. Order Fireteam to Hold Position. There is a
mercenary at the end of the hallway. Occasionally he is in the room on the
left side of the hall. Point the crosshairs at the floor at the beginning
of the hallway and order Able 2 to Deploy Smoke. When the smoke appears,
move around the corner and shoot the mercenary if he is in the hall.
Quickly move through the hallway past the open door on the right before the
smoke clears.
Throw a smoke grenade toward the door on the left side of the hall. There
are two defense force members inside of the room and a mercenary if he was
not already killed in the hallway. When the smoke appears, open the door
and move into the room. Locate and kill the defense force members and
mercenary (if not killed earlier) inside of the room.
[***** Bonus Objective – Destroy Escape Vehicle *****]
Move back into the hallway and turn right. Move to the left side of the
open door on the left side. There is a defense force member on the near
(north) side of the crates along the right (west) side of the room. There
is also a mercenary on the far (south) side of the crates. Throw a smoke
grenade through the door. When the smoke begins to appear, move through the
door into the room. Quickly locate and kill the defense force member and
mercenary before the smoke clears.
Once both have been killed, order Bravo 2 to Follow. When he arrives, point
the crosshairs at the boat at the dock and order Bravo 2 to Takedown.
Simple will shoot the boat with the AT-4.
[***** Primary Objective – Capture Kingfish *****]
Move north back into the hallway and order Fireteam to Follow. Turn right
(east) and follow the tunnel until it turns right (south) for the second
time, leading to a door. Kingfish and two mercenaries are inside of the
room behind the door, although they may also move through the door in the
southeast corner into the adjoining conference room. Throw a smoke grenade
at the door. When the smoke appears, open the door and enter the room.
Quickly shoot both of the mercenaries. Be careful not to kill Kingfish
since killing him will cause a mission failure. Once both mercenaries are
dead, move to Kingfish and rifle butt him until he surrenders. Once he has
surrendered, restrain him. Once Kingfish has been captured, the mission is
complete.
