Red Lines Red lines indicate the alternative stage, which will be playable when the player has completed mission object 2. ---------------------------------------------------- > The L1 Button Mode 13. Locks etc. Explained When the marker is on a stage box and the player pressed the L1 button, HOLD mode will be activated, the player may now freely move on the Link Navigator Screen. If the stage the player pressed L1 button at says LOCKED, it means that Mission Object 2 is locked. And an arrow will be visible at the Circle around the word HOLD. The player might now follow this arrow to a stage box with the word KEY on it. This means that the Stage with the KEY word on it has the item/object needed/triggered to unlock Mission Object 2 for the LOCKED stage. Extra Information about Locks etc: The word LOCKED will only show itself when there is a need to unlock a mission object 2 goal in another stage. ---------------------------------------------------- > Extra Information If a stage box has a Red line going out from it, Mission Object 2 is unlocked and can be played. The Player may now press X, and choose to go to "Alternative stage" the marker will move to a Light Blue or a Light Green stage box, that will be unlocked when the player completed Mission Object 2. Because the player have unlocked mission object 2 doesn't however mean he might be able to complete it, he might need an item or object from a previous stage. ---------------------------------------------------- > FAQ I've made these questions myself, to be able to answer what I believe is common thoughts and questions about the Link Navigator.
