The game has 30 new tracks and if you have the first singstar game you can do a
disc swap just by pressing a button. So if you want to sing all 60 songs you
won't need to restart your playstation 2 every time.

There are more multi player options, these are currently in the game:

 Collaborative Duet - two players sing their own lines of the same song for a 
                     combined score.

 
 Battle Mode       - two players can either sing the whole song or one vocal 
                     part of a dedicated duet, competing on scores.

 
 Pass The Mic Mode breaks down into the following game rounds for 2-8 players:

 
 Solo Round        - players take it in turns to sing a song; the highest score 
                     wins.

 
 Combined Duet     - players from the same team sing a duet, then two members 
                     from the other team sing the same duet - the highest score 
                     wins.

 
 Battle            - players from different teams sing a song at the same time 
                     and whoever contributes the bigger score wins.

 
 Keep It Up        - one player performs a song keeping the momentum bar above 
                     a certain point. Then a member from the next team attempts
                     the same song and the one with the longest duration wins. 
                     If they both complete the song, it's a draw.

 
 Pass the Mic      - teams take it in turns to sing a song. Each team member 
                     must sing designated sections of the song to contribute to
                     an overall team score - the highest score wins.

 
 First To The Post - players from different teams sing a battle and whoever 
                     reaches a designated score first wins.

 
 Risk              - teams must score 7500 points or more to win. 
                     Each team takes it in turns to sing a song. However, they 
                     can choose to Play or Pass, sometimes forcing the other 
                     team to sing. The team must surpass 7500 to win. If the 
                     other team also achieves 7500, it is a draw. 
                     If they don't, the first team wins the round. 

Also you can now take a picture of yourself when you are in the high scores.

Q: How's the duet in Elton John & Kiki Dee Don't Go Breaking My Heart, ...
A: It's cool :) the text you have to sing is in your mic's color. If you play
   solo the text you have to sing is regular the other lines are italic.

Q: Why aren't there any songs of (insert artist)
A: I know, only very famous songs are in the game which could be harder for 
   some younger players because the songs are older than they are! I hope
   somebody would make a singstar for PC that analyzes the songs you want and
   makes the sing tones and text for you. But I highly doubt that's going to
   happen, so the only thing you can do is mail those guys from Lodon Studios
   and ask them VERRRRRY nicely if they want to add the song you want.
   Note that only regional songs won't be added.

Q: Is there -like in the other singstar game- a difference beteween the
   UK/German/Spanish/... version of the game?
A: Yes thanks to SnowCrash I now know there are yet again other songs in the
   different versions.

Q: Will they make singstar games with more recent songs in it?
A: We can only hope they will in the future.
