Combos Controls: Square, X, O: Attack a focused enemy. Triangle: Action R2: Weapon selection L2: Make spirit guide/Kuzo go to a specific area to scout ahead. Get Kuzo/Spirit guide back. L1: Aim w/ Puffers or Bow R1: Guard Start: Menu Weapons: Tati: Puffers: Her long range weapon. A great weapon. Even if you are spotted you can use it as a trap or throw it at an enemy in a group to kill everybody near him. One tactic I found useful was to throw it in front of a door containing resting soldiers.(I'll call them R. Doors, k?) That way even if u are spotted, u are in less danger than if u didn't throw the puffer there. It's also fun to throw it at Rau's face and hit him. It is also useful at close range as it stuns your target. Rating: 5/5 Bishag: Her first weapon. It is a fast attacking weapon but does weak damage. Its has the easiest combos. (It does so little damage that your enemy won't be dead by your last attack) Rating: 4/5 Kami Yhari: Her blunt weapon. It breaks armor easily but don't use it when you fight unarmored enemies. (My favorite weapon since I like the Fua Usu Rutu combo) Rating: 3.5/5 Buhjer: Her slowest but most powerful weapon. If you hit any wooden object, this will stick to it and you will wait for a few seconds to get it out from the wood. It can split torsos, amputate feet, arms and legs. Rating: 4.5/5 Rau : Bow: Useful long range weapon. You can kill an enemy with one shot if you hit his head. It won affect armored enemies though. Rating: 4.5/5 Broad Sword: Rau's fastest weapon but not the fastest in the game. Has medium power and combos can be easily done with this weapon. Rating: 4/5 Taiaha: Rau's Blunt weapon. Same as the Kami Yhari. Rating: 3.5/5 Battle Axe: Rau's most devastating weapon. Not as slow as the Buhjer but equal in power. Also gets stuck when hitting wooden objects. Rating: 4.5/5 Griz: Kukrins: Griz's long range weapon. Can amputate enemy heads. Rating: 3/5 Arbur: Griz's close range weapon. Just like every other blunt weapon. Rating: 3.5/5 Gollok: Just like the Bushag. Rating: 4/5 Buss Daken: Cool! Can crush enemy skulls. Slow but powerful. Rating: 5/5 Baumusu: Mahee: Just another long range weapon. Rating:3.5/5 Sword: Almost like the Broad Sword. Rating: 4/5 Huatar: Just like any other blunt weapon. Rating: 3.5/5 Narga: Useful in the Vaitaku level. One challenge is to split 15 enemy torsos. Still slow but at least there is another use to its power other than killing enemies fast. Rating: 5/5 Combos: S-Square X-X O-Circle Baumusu/Rau/Tati/Griz: Simple Combo: XXXX/OOOO/SSSS Fua Toko Rutu: XSSS/XOOO/SXXX/SOOO Fua Toko Faahu: XSSX/XOOX/SXXS/SOOS Fua Usu Rutu: XOSS/XSOO Fua Usu Faahu: XOSX/XSOX Tips: 1. Avoid fighting if possible. 2. Throw puffers at R. Doors. 3. Kill horn carriers first, archers second, grunts third. 4. Wait for your partner if you know you are going to fight more enemies than you can handle. 5. If there are 2 enemies ahead that can be stealth killed but cannot be killed via group stealth, wait for your partner. 6. Use bridges, monkeys, gongs, birds to your advantage. 7. If there is a river nearby and you are on or past the Yolo Maibisi Level, it's possible that there is a patrol boat that will pass by. 8. Gongs will only attract horn carriers. 9. Use Kuzo/spirit guide to your advantage. 10. Assist your partner whenever possible. 11. The puffer can be attached to walls, enemies, the flooring, gongs, monkeys. (anything that the bow can hit) 12. Always go for a headshot when using Rau's bow. 13. You might want a lot of enemies crossing the bridge before cutting it. 14. Never cut the rope holding the bridge when your partner is on the other side or on the bridge. 15. If there is anything I missed out, read the hints that appear throughout the game :P Walkthrough I'll start with the Baumusu and Rau Guide. After them it's the Tati and Griz Guide. Baumusu and Rau guide: Level: Tapuroku Characters: Baumusu / Griz Sections: The Lake The Ruins Sacred Ground Maibisi's Pet Level Challenges: 1. Perform Bau'Usu/Gar'Usu combo on an enemy 2. Defend 6 attacks from 6 different enemies. 3. Fua Toko Faahu combo with any weapon. 4. Kill 40 focused enemies. 5. Collect the Tukus. This is just a KILL EVERYONE YOU SEE LEVEL. The Lake: Charge at the running Kasai soldiers. After killing all of the K.soldiers, grab the the Health (red crystal) and the Health+ (white crystal) at the dock. Go to the next enemy camp and take out all the K.soldiers.(I'll call them KS, k?) To your left is a ruin like place. Go up the step and charge at the enemy camp. Save at the save point you will see. Jump down the platform and kill the 3 men. Go to the dock and kill all the KS that come out the boat. Go EAST of the boat and attack the enemy camp. After the battle, go to the orange circle to finish the section. The Ruins: Go opposite of where Griz is going. (right) Keep moving forward until you see KSs. Kill them. Pick up the nearby Health+. Attack the armored KS and his partner. Go left and fight the 3KS. (1 horn carrier) If you let him sound his horn more will come so kill him quick or just jab him so he loses his horn. Climb the platform and fight the 2 KS. Save. Charge at the nearby enemy camp. (You can wait for Griz) After the battle, go to the orange circle to end the section. Sacred Ground: Climb up the platforms and go down. Instead of following Griz, go to the R. Door and kill every KS that comes out. Follow Griz after. Do not climb ladder, follow Griz. Keep following Griz until you fight some KSs. There is some health if you need it. Once you see the path to the left there is a save point near. Charge the enemy camp and kill all KS. After, climb the ladder nearby. Jump down the wall. Follow Griz and kill anyone you see. There is some health+ if you want it. (Of course you do) There is also a book nearby. There is a gap in the wall with some KS in it. Kill them if you want. There is a save point behind the wall so use it. Find Griz and use the switches to open the door. Go to the orange circle to finish the section. If you don't want to read this guide for this section, just follow Griz and kill everyone you see! Maibisi's Pet: The tentacles with scales are weak to blunt weapons so use the Huatar. The ones without are weak to both the Sword and the Narga. When the tentacles curl up, use your blunt weapon to hit them. They will become open to attack again. Always deal the finishing blow with the Narga. Level: Ngari Characters: Rau and Tati. Sections: City Edge Market Square The Oracle of the City Challenges: 1. Stealth kill 15 enemies 2. Stealth kill 2 groups of enemies 3. Wall stealth 5 enemies 4. While unarmed, disarm 1 enemy 5. Discover and use a story shrine (book) City Edge: Once you are up the ladder, unequip anything by going to the weapon screen and picking the fist. (unarmed) Once you pick the fist, focus on the nearby enemy and kill him. (via stealth kill) Now put your back against the wall near the next enemy, and stealth kill him. (I'll call the stealth kill, SK from now on, ok?) Climb the stairs and SK the next KS. (horn carrier)Go inside the room nearby and GROUP SK the 2 horn carriers. (Group SK is performed by focusing 2 enemies and pressing the 3 buttons that appear) Equip your bow and kill the KS on the narrow path via headshot. Then kill the other KS on the balcony via headshot. Go to the room through the narrow pathway and watch the patrolling guard via Kuzo. Once he faces away, kill him via headshot. Go to the next roof and drop down the platform. Once the KS faces away, climb up and SK him. Drop down again and SK the guard. Join up with Tati and go to the orange circle to finish the section. Market Square: Unarm yourself again and SK the KS. Go through the bridge and go left. GROUP SK the 2 horn carriers. Go through the 2nd bridge and stick to the wall. Wall SK the KS. You will see a bridge with a guard. Kill him via headshot while he is far away and grab the health if you need it. Wall SK the KS you will see after crossing the bridge. Wait patiently for the next guard to come near the wall you are on and Wall SK him when he does. (You could just kill with your bow/swordfight. He isn't carrying a horn anyway) Continue forward and go to your left. There is a health+ you can pick up. Go back and go up the steps. Keep going forward and soon you will see a KS facing away. SK him. Go to the wall on the other side and wait for the other KS. Be prepared to wall SK him. After you do, grab the health if needed. Go forward you will see a bridge. Stick to the wall and wall SK the KS. Go left to the alley and save. Wait for the patrol and SK him when you can. Go forward then right and you will see a bridge. Do not cross it yet. Hide in the alley and wait for the patrol to face away and kill with your bow. Once you are on the other side, go right to another alley. There is some health there if you need it. Go left from there and stick to the wall near the corner. A KS will come so WALL SK him. There is a health+ from where you saw the patrol. Go down and equip your bow. Go beside the crates under the shade and kill the KS in front of the ladder. Climb up the ladder and go to the orange circle to finish the section. The Oracle Of the City: Go forward and go up the ladder and equip the bow. Stick to the crates nearby and wait for the KS to appear. Kill him via headshot. Use unarmed. Go down and look for a balcony. A KS will be in one of them. Grab the arrows nearby and stay at the bottom of the steps. You can shoot a KS from there. Shoot him. Go up the steps and down the next. Cross the bridge and SK the KS beside the next bridge. Stay where the KS you killed was and equip your bow. Shoot the patrol you will see. Cross the bridge follow the path until you see an open area. Save if you want. Climb the platform beside the save point. Use the switch you will see. Climb down the ladder and jump down. Stick to the wall wait for an armored horn carrier to come near. SK him when you get the chance to do so. After killing him, stick to the wall at the corner and wall SK the KS that will pass. Don't go right, go forward since there is a switch. Use it and open the gate. Now go forward then left from where you are. Stick to the right side wall and wait for the armored KS to come near you. Wall SK him when you can. Equip your bow and shoot the KS on the balcony above. Continue forward and up the steps then drop down or go down the steps. Prepare for a battle. Go through the gate a fight the KS. There are health crystals scattered around. Also, there is a Tuku behind some pillars. There is also a save point so use it if you need to. After the battle, go to the orange circle to finish the level. Level: Mt. Basuku Characters: Rau and Tati Sections: The Fortress Inner Chambers The Tower Ganguun Challenges: 1.
