Secure the Area --------------- Reward- 3,000 bolts Tactics- In this battle mission, you will have to destroy many enemies. There will be small tyrranhoids, ones with guns , ones with lasers, and a new enemy the flying sacuer. The sacers drop of small tyrranhoids and shoot spiraling lasers at you. These babies are strong so keep watch and use the radar in the corner of your screen. I reccomend using lack-strafe mode and kill most enemies with the N-60 Storm. You might want to watch your ammo. Kill the small ones with your trusty wrench and maybe even the larger enemies with a X + []. Overall, just keep dodging and stay alert. You can try using the Plasma Whip to destroy hordes of enemies with guns to save N-60 Storm ammo. Do not count on the Rangers for they are totally useless. Also do not bother attacking the drop-ships because it wastes ammo. Listen to the things the Rangers say because when they speak it is a checkpoint on your mission. Air Assault ----------- Reward- 4,000 bolts Tactics- This battle is way too similar to the last. This time you will have to protect Rangers but it will not be too much of a worry. They last a long time but you might want to stay a bit more alert and try to kill enemies faster. Here is the tactics from the mission before this because the tactics from both missions are basically the same: " In this battle mission, you will have to destroy many enemies. Also do not bother attacking the drop-ships because it wastes ammo. Listen to the things the Rangers say because when they speak it is a checkpoint on your mission." Turret Command -------------- Reward- 6,000 bolts Tactics- This is your first turret mission. You will realize you really don't have to do anything but kill saucers and dropships. Here are some hints on killing dropships. First of all, to control the turret you use the right analog stick to aim, your health is on the top and you have unlimited ammo. Yay!!! You just hold O and aim to the right target. Farther targets will be harder to shoot. For shooting dropships, just shoot not where they are but where they are going because the bullets take a while to get there. After the dropships stop then start pummeling them and they should fall before realesing any enemies. You should kill saucers because they can hurt you and maybe even the ever annoying laser enemies. If you are getting hurt you screen will turn red so just swerve around the screen shooting and you should kill them. The turret might take a little getting-used-to so stay determined and keep trying and you will eventually get it. Under the Gun ------------- Reward- 7,500 bolts Tactics- In this mission you will have to protect the repair crew. At least one repairer must survive and if one doesn't, you lose. The timer is to show how much time is left before the repair is over. So basically you just duke it out for 2 minutes. To assure full security of the repair crew, I suggest you stand on the same plat- form as them and shhot all enemies around you. This way you only have to shoot the enemies that are shooting the repair crew. This on is pretty easy, just use th N-60 Storm to kill far enemies and maybe even the ones closer by. The rangers will last a long time so this shouldn't be too hard. Just remember your priorities, first saucers, then laser tyrrhanoids, then gun tyrranhoids, then little tyrranhoids. Remember to dodge, use lock-strafe and watch your ammo. Hit n' Run ---------- Reward- 9,000 bolts Tactics- In this one you'll have to run up to a bolt crank and turn it to activate all the turrets. There are five bolt cranks. To turn a bolt crank, click [] near it and spin your left analog stick. First just glide over to the first one. It is forward on the left (Look on your radar for green dots. Get there as fast as possible and start turning. You should see a saucer coming in but just ignore it and keep turning. You should finish before taking a hit. Then ignore the enemies and run to the next bolt crank. It is on the top left. Destroy the enemies, quickly turn the crank. Do this for the rest which are on the bottom left, top right, and bottom left. Use lock strafe mode, N-60 Storm, and dodge. ------------- Thyrranhossis ------------- !!! OPERATION ISLAND STRIKE !!! (optional) Assault on Kavu Island ---------------------- Reward- 8,000 bolts Tactics- Drop down dodging missiles. The white ones don't hurt you. Just dodge the red ones and you should be fine. When you land kill the enemies around you. Use lock strafe mode, N-60 Storm, and dodge. Turn the bolt crank and cross the bridge. Kill the missile launcher using the Annhi- alator and jump when the first missile comes. Kill the rest with N-60 Storm or Spitting Hydra. Go forward, kill more enemies the same way, kill the missile lanchers the same way and go to the hovership. After you get there you will beat the mission. Fight over Kavu Island ---------------------- Reward- 12,000 bolts Tactics- Well, you're first hovership mission. The controls might feel weird. I can't help you much here. Use the left analog stck to move, right to aim, O to fire, and L1 and L2 to move up and down. Destroy all the dropships, just move back and forth across the island. If saucers are annoying you, go ahead and kill them. Also kill missile launchers. Destroy it before it shoots at you. If it manages to get a shot. Move back until it becomes out of range. The dropships won't shoot at you much. Operation Thunderbolt --------------------- Reward- 16,000 bolts Tactics- This is the exact same as the last one except the ships will start shooting at you. This mission is also a lot shorter. If the drop- ship shoots at you then simply move up. It that easy. Since these 2 are basically the same here is the tactics of the last one: " Well, you're first hovership mission. Move back until it becomes out of range." The Final Battle ---------------- Reward- 20,000 bolts Tactics- This one is a lot like the first one except it is longer, more enemies, and you walk the entire island. At the end there are turrets so come out of lock strafe mode and into third person. Take out your N-60 Storm and lock-on to the turrets. Run around constantly while holding O. Don't go too far or both will shoot at you. For the second one just go on the bridge behind the ranger and shoot it from there using the look mode on the N-60 Storm. Here is the first one cause the are similar: " Use lock strafe mode, N-60 Storm, and dodge. Turn the bolt crank and cross the bridge. Kill the missile launcher using the Annhi- alator and jump when the first missile comes. Kill the rest with N-60 Storm or Spitting Hydra. Go forward, kill more enemies the same way, kill the missile lanchers the same way. " --------------- Blackwater City --------------- !!! OPERATION BLACK TIDE !!! The Battle of Blackwater City ----------------------------- Reward- 15,000 bolts Tactics- Drop down dodging missiles. The white ones don't hurt you. Just dodge the red ones and you should be fine. When you land kill the enemies around you. Use lock strafe mode and dodge. There will be many enemies all around you so use the Rift Inducer, really useful. You might also want to use the Flux Rifle from behind the sniper blocks. Also use the annihaltor. Just keep up long enough, these enemies should be old. Kill all the enemies to win, they just keep coming! The Bridge ---------- Reward- 20,000 bolts Tactics- Use lock strafe mode and dodge. There will be many enemies all around you so use the Rift Inducer, really useful. You might also want to use the Flux Rifle from behind the sniper blocks. Also use the annihaltor. Use the Annhialator to kill the two saucers on the side. Then use the Rift Inducer to fire warp holes through the shield around the bridge and kill the enemies. When the enemies stop appearing on the bridge turn around and kill the enemies behind you. Counterattack ------------- Reward- 25,000 bolts Tactics- Go across the bridge and go behind the laser shooting enemies and kill them with X + []. Use lock strafe mode and dodge. There will be many enemies all around you so use the Rift Inducer, really useful. You might also want to use the Flux Rifle from behind the sniper blocks. Also use the annihaltor. Use the Flux rifle behind the blocks to kill the turrets and kill the other enemies using X + [], dodge but they don't really shoot at you. This one is really easy. ---------- Metropolis ---------- !!! OPERATION URBAN sTORM !!! (Optional) Countdown --------- Reward- 10,000 bolts Tactics- Use the left analog stick to move, right to aim, O to fire, and L1 and L2 to move up and down. Go to the green dots on the map and the objects will be there. The time really doesn't matter much. There isn't much to say so that's basically it. You might want to kill the green laser enemies and saucers if they annoy you too much. Urban Combat ------------ Reward- 35,000 bolts Tactics- Big bloody battle! YAY!!!! This is fun but hard. Here are the tips: -use Rift Inducer, Annhialator, and Liquid Nitrogen Gun -lock-strafe mode -dodge -kill them with Rift Inducer before they get onto the field -survive long enough -don't snipe -destroy all enemies -destroy saucers with jump + annhialator -have fun!!!! Tower Attack ------------ Reward- 20 Tactics- Use the left analog stick to move, right to aim, O to fire, and L1 and L2 to move up and down. Go to the green dots on the map and the objects will be there. Just kill all the enemies. There is really nothing else to say, this is really easy. Air Superiority --------------- Reward- 15,000 bolts Tactics- This is a lot like the one on Tyrranhosis except longer, harder, and you'll have to kill the green laser shooting enemies. Here is the last one: " This is the exact same as the last one except the ships will start shooting at you. This mission is also a lot shorter. If the drop- ship shoots at you then simply move up. It that easy. Since these 2 are basically the same here is the tactics of the last one: " Well, you're first hovership mission. Move back until it becomes out of range." Turret Command -------------- Reward- 20,000 bolts Tactics- This is a really easy turret mission. Just keep shoting enemies right in front of you, how easy is that. You'll have to stay alert though because the enemies come in hordes and you might have to swerve a lot especially up and down. Not too hard though. ------ Aridia ------ !!! OPERATION DEATH VALLEY !!! The Tunnels of Outpost X12 -------------------------- Reward- 10,000 bolts Tactics- Just like the one on Metropoleis except shorter and you get to the hovership at the end. here is the metropolis one: " Big bloody battle! " Ambush in Red Rock Valley ------------------------- Reward- 15,000 bolts Tactics- OK, come on, there is nothing to say here. Just go around on the hovership killing enemies. Kill all the enemies and you win! How easy is that! You want me to repeat the controls, fine here: Use the left analog stck to move, right to aim, O to fire, and L1 and L2 to move up and down. You should have known that! Assassination ------------- Reward- 20,000 bolts Tactics- Just like the one on Metropolis except you kill the 4-eyed commanders. Use the Flux Rifle on the commanders and don't waste your ammo on anything you don't have to kill. You might want to use the buggy. Here is the Metropolis one: " Big bloody battle! " Reclaim the Valley ------------------ Reward- 25 Tactics- Just like the one on Metropolis except you turn on the turrets. Use the Flux Rifle on the missile launchers and don't waste your ammo on anything you don't have to kill. You might want to use the buggy. Here is the Metropolis one: " Big bloody battle! YAY!!!!
