Mostly, Samurai Shootout. These games are not just fun to play, but also worth playing, for a better score. To get an S rank, you must get over 1,000,000 points. In achieving this, you recieve the Shotgun, for use in Story Mode. >>> III. The Mini-Games a) Night Ambush Description: Basically, you are in a forest, and shurikens (ninja stars) are thrown at you in groups of 2, 3 or 4. If you shoot one down, the meter at the top increases by one. (BTW when you shoot the whole group of stars down, that's when another group is fired) When the meter is full, time stops and it says "GOLD FEVER!". Gold Shurikens (worth a lot more points) are then thrown at random times for about 10 seconds. It then returns to the normal mode, and you have to get the meter up again. Method: To reach over 1,000,000 points in this mini-game is easier than the rest, really, if you try. Shoot the shurikens as fast as you can, reloading all the time. The further away you get them, the better. I reccomend sitting up next to the screen for this one. My record: 1643400 points b) Samurai Shootout Description: Personally, my favourite mini-game. Basically because it's so easy, entertaining and I'm good at it! Well, back to the description.. There are three niches with doors on them. Every second and a half or so, they open. Then close. Then open. Every time with statues in them. Sometimes one is empty, but never are two empty. Don't shoot the girls. I know this sounds easy, but you can be fooled when the girls start wearing what looks like the statues crowns. Method: Get up close to the TV. Shoot quick. Simple! Get better. I believe 1107200 pts. is the max you can get- for a perfect. My record: 1107200 points c) Fireworks To Unlock: Get a 1st place ranking in Arcade mode. Description: Fireworks are shot up from the ground and you have to shoot them. Easy as it seems, if a firework that has not blown up hits the sparks from a blowing up firework, it too explodes. Method: I consider this to be kind of a cheat/trick. Shoot the fireworks as fast as you can at the start, and when a firework is going to touch an explosion, leave it- it will get you points. Don't miss; you'll need a 25 hit combo at least to get over 1,000,000 points. Try try again. My record: 1015900 points d) Haunted Lake Description: Uurgh.. I really don't like this mini-game. It's hard, basically because something like it's your brains instincts to shoot the blue, not the yellow or red.. and plus you have to shoot the fish to get it out of the water, then shoot it again to destroy it! When you shoot it creates a huge splash, making it near impossible to see the fish other than the one you just shot out of the water. Method: Shoot quick and shoot the ones at the back more than you would. Shoot twice, really quickly to get rid of them. Aim for no blue fish. Even if your score is 999,999 when the time is up, you may still get points for a fish you killed 3 seconds ago. See those star things? When they pass your score, you get points. So if they haven't reached you scorebar yet, don't despair. My record: 1011000 points e) Gold Rush Description: This will remind you of that game in Pointblank how you have to keep the cans in the air.. but this time it's coins. Harder, because they're thin and you can miss them easily if they're on their side. Get up close to the TV, again. Method: Shoot rapidly and keep aiming for the coins. Get over 85 hits or so for 1,000,000 pts.. I think. Not much to say.. My record: 1424800 points >>> IV. Final Missions a) Pre-Requisites - A good knowledge of these levels b) The Missions Difficult Missions: 1, 9, 12 Like all final missions, get up close to the screen. Play the level many times (Well, you have to, anyway). I think this is one of the most difficult levels. If you keep missing, or you think it's unfair (I did it with the gun) then use the Controller, using Square and Triangle. Tips: Know what baddies to kill, and if you don't need to kill them, don't worry about it. Even if saving a bit of health means possibly missing, don't go for it. Mission 1 was seemingly impossible. I barely survived with 1 hit left before I died, but I did make it. The mechanical spiders are really annoying. The best thing to do if you miss (MISSION FAILED!) is to laugh and say "Heh.. I hate when that guy does that.. I'll get him next time!" (Applies mostly to those Halloween ghost guys with two knives when they backflip) Mission 9 is quite hard because those little annoying ghost guys keep hopping around and constantly make you miss because of their agility. Also, archers are quite slim targets making them very hard to shoot a long distances with half their body concealed by a balcony or something. Mission 12 is hard because guys are all over the place and this level deals you the most damage. I died first try, and I only ever completed this mission with the joypad. Finishing all Missions; Chapter 1 through 4 and Final Missions 1-12, you unlock the well-deserved Magnum. I personally think the Magnum is cooler.. but I can never get as many points as I do with the shotgun.. why is that? The Final Missions should last you about 5 hours if you're good. >>> V.
