No Questions yet. Version 1.2- Changed some wording and stuff around and added a few questions on 8/11/04. ############################################################################### General Information: There are 5 game play modes, 4 standard modes and 1 unlockable mode. -Quick game- Pick any NFL team and play against the CPU or a friend. -Pickup game- Assemble a team from 40 NFL superstars and play. *All NFL Pickup*- Assemble a team from any of the 32 NFL teams plus legends. -NFL Challenge- Take on NFL teams and unlock rewards. The story mode of the game. -Online- Challenge people online to show off your skills *Unlocked after beating NFL Challenge. I will be sharing my strategy guide about NFL Challenge. When you select NFL Challenge, you can choose 1 of 6 roster types, Balanced, Rush Offense, Rush defense, and Pass Offense, Pass Defense, and Custom. After selecting your roster, preferably custom, you can edit your team and players (See Player Options). You can edit you team logo, colors, name and whether you want team colors in your logo or default colors. You can also edit your players name, position, attributes, height, weight, gear, number, face, hairstyle, hair color, celebration, and signature style. If you chose custom roster, leave one player totally undeveloped. After choosing everything for your team and players, go to the challenge menu. Go to either AFC West or NFC West and choose a challenge you think you can win. Ex: A rush Offense should try to run for a TD against the Seahawks for 220 development points and a short sleeve shirt. There are five types of challenge difficulties. No Skills: costs 20 challenge tokens and can win 100 development points Weak Skills: costs 40 challenge tokens and can win 220 development points. Got Skills: costs 80 challenge tokens and can win 480 development points. Mad Skills: costs 120 challenge tokens and can win 760 development points. Legendary Skills: costs 160 challenge tokens and can win 1,220 development points. At first you should try to try challenges you know are easy for you and can win. Then, try to experiment with challenges to see if you can beat them. You have infinite attempts at a challenge. ############################################################################### Controls: Offense- Left analog stick/D-pad Move X Stiff arm/Shoulder charge /\ triangle Catch ball/Pitch Ball O Spin or juke [] square Hurdle or Dive R1 Turbo L1 Style Start Pause L2 and Right analog stick Signature style Before play- D-pad right Motion player right D-pad left Motion player left X Hike the ball R2 Show play L1 and D-pad Audible L2 Show pass icons Passing- X Pass to player marked X [] Pass to player square O Pass to player circle /\ Pump fake Defense- Left analog stick/D-pad Move X Spin or rip [] Dive O Switch Player /\ Intercept or deflect pass R1 Turbo L1 and [] Defensive Power Move L1 and D-pad before play Audible ############################################################################### Fields: NFC West: EA Field- The widest field in the game and most free basically. Besides the fact that there is a wall for one sideline, this is just an average park. AFC West: West Coach Beach- the second worst field in the game for a few reasons. It decreases your speed on your fastest guy to a chicken like speed; also, it is slightly narrower than EA field meaning more out-of-bounds plays. But if all else fails, have some fun with the beach balls in the middle of the field. NFC North: City Limits- Basically it is a junkyard in a shady area. There are some tires on the ground you can play with but they won't help stopping a runner. Watch out for the dumpster and wall on the sidelines when your about to get pummeled. AFC North: Legends Stadium- Drum roll please. This is my personal favorite stadium and is home to the great legends themselves. There are annoying pillars on the sidelines though that make it hard to get out-of-bounds once in a while. NFC South: Da Roof- Da roof is on fire, da roof is on fire. But seriously, no, this field is on the rooftop of a bar or something and is pretty narrow. I find the field annoying with the tight space and walls for sidelines. I hate walls. AFC East: The Warehouse- The only dome in the game and gets annoying for pass crazy teams. Low bars hang resulting in long passes coming back to you if your passing is bad. This is a run- friendly stadium and can determine games. NFC East: The Pit- The worst field in the game by far. There is almost no traction and juking can only be done with high agility. It took me a while but I finally found out that the sidelines are lampposts, not benches, not the snow, lampposts. You have to be able to adapt to the narrow field or you face a loss. AFC South: The Courtyard- A Latino like village made of tile and rocks. There are many interactions on the field like watermelons, crates, and furniture. A good field and is easy to adapt to. ############################################################################### Rewards: When you beat a challenge in challenge mode, you get a reward. Whoo. Usually rewards consist of developement points and something else. This will usually just be clothes and gear your players can wear and look cool in. If you beat an impact challenge, you will win the gear but the gear will improve one of your attributes 1-3 blocks when you wear it. This comes in handy when you want to improve a players stats without spending costly developement points. Plays- You can earn offensive and defensive plays by defeating challenges with a playbook on them. NFL Players- The best reward you can get is a professional player. In order to do so, you must give up 760 challenge tokens to play a game against any NFL team. You play to 24 and if you beat the team, you add a player from thier team onto your roster. If you chose custom roster and you left a player undeveloped, you can replace him with a superstar from the same position. The following list shows the best all-around players in this game from their positions. QB- Donovan McNabb, Steve McNair, Daunte Culpepper RB- Priest Holmes, Marshall Faulk, Shaun Alexander WR- Tony Gonzalez, Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss OL- Orlando Pace, Johnathan Ogden, Tra Thompson DL- Warren Sapp, Simeon Rice, Grant Wistrom DB- Sam Madison, Champ Bailey, Aeneas Williams LB- Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Derrick Brooks *These players are the best for their position based on every aspect of the game which means that even though Tony Gonzalez isn't the best wide reciever, he is better on defense than the other recievers. ############################################################################### Player Options: First name- Player's first name Last name- Player's last name Position- Where the player plays on the field Attributes- Player's abilities can be improved here with developement points and impact items Passing- Only the QB needs this. Speed- Everyone should eventually have speed but RB,WR, and DB need the most. Blocking- OL, DL, and LB are on the offensive line so they need it only. Agility- RB, WR, DB, LB, and QB. Catching- RB, WR, and DB needs a little for interceptions. Run Power- RB needs most, anyone who handles the ball will need some. Carrying- Everyone needs it because if you recover a fumble, you don't want to lose it in the same play. Along with speed, it is the most important. Tackling- LB, DL, DB, and your fastest player. Coverage- DB, fastest player, and LB at first and then everyone. D-moves- DL needs most and DB will need some. Many strategies can be applied but the real strategy is up to you. Keep in mind that running is much safer than passing. Many divisions have the same types of teams. Blocking does not need to be a priority. Runningbacks are better when they are all-around with catching and tackling. A speedy QB is great to start out with and build your team around. A well-rounded team is okay to start out, but with stacked players it is easier to complete certain challenges and get the developement pts. Height- How tall or short a player is, it goes from 5'5"-7' Weight- How much a player weighs. There are big differences between 229 lbs. and 230 lbs. Also between 294 pounds and 295 pounds. Gear- Anything the players wear are here. This is where you can equip impact items and change your players clothes. Number- The number of the player will only show up if you have front or back decal on in the gear section. Face- You change your players faces and skin color here. Hairstyle- Change your hairstyle from afro to bald and everywhere inbetween. Hair Color- What do you think this is? Celebration- Change how you player celebrates after touchdowns, sacks, etc. Signature Style- The last of the player options and one of the most interesting. You can choose the kind of style you want and use it by pressing L2 and right analog stick. My favorite one is hoopin' it up. ############################################################################### Gamebreakers: Alas, the gamebreakers are here. A gamebreaker is like the power-up in this game. By getting enough style points to fill the bar in the upper left corner (It usually takes a little more than 100,000) you earn a gamebreaker. On offense the gamebreakers make you near invinceble with the ball allowing for an easy score. On defense the gamebreakers make you exceptional in all defensive aspects and when you touch an opposing player who has the ball, he automatically fumbles making turnovers a guarantee. Gamebreakers affect all players but the player you are controlling gets the most out of it. If you have a rather easy time scoring, it is very wise to use your gamebreaker on defense so you can get the ball back. On the other hand, if your opponent has a gamebreaker they will almost always use it on defense. This forces you to get out of bounds after each play (See Fields). ############################################################################### Challenges: Many challenges are self-explanitory and just have to be done as it says, few can be "cheated" on. One example is in the AFC West. The challenge is to beat the Chiefs in a game to 12 using only pass plays without getting sacked. It says that you have to use pass plays but that doesn't mean you have to pass. If you use a speedy QB you can select any play and then just have him run to the endzone without passing. You could also choose a play like flea flicker and have your RB run the ball down the field. Other challenges especially legendary skills can be beaten if you just try them over and over and over. Ones that are "Make a goal line stand" or "keep this team with a gamebreaker from scoring" can be beaten if you keep trying and eventually force a fumble or stop them. Those are the easiest ways to get massive amounts of dev. pts. ############################################################################### Ladder Mode: Ladder mode is where you put your skills to the test by playing NFL teams so you can advance to other stages in the game and unlock All NFL Pickup. After using 800 challenge tokens you must beat ladder mode to get more tokens and unlock another division. I have taken the liberty to tell you how to beat each and every team in this game so you can beat the game itself. You must beat the 4 normal teams in each division and then an All-Star team consisting of players from that division. Since you have to beat all of ladder mode without going back to challenge mode, it is wise to save some dev. pts. to improve your players while in ladder mode. NFC West Arizona Cardinals: A balanced offense with weak defense. How to beat 'em- Arizona is a slow team and so just put the ball in the hands of your fastest and most agile player and allow him to bring it to the endzone. The coverage on this team is very bad and pump faking will allow you to buy extra time. You don't need the pass but it is good practice for harder teams. Keep the team on their toes with zone defense and blitzing. Don't bite on the play-action and you can turn the tables for a sack. San Francisco 49ers: Decent offense w/ a shaky defense. How to beat 'em- Their defense is good at stopping runs and they like many QB spy plays. If you get a reciever open downfield go for him and it will be a big gain if not a touchdown. They have bad ball-handling ang easy passes to pick- off. You are almost guaranteed a take-away using the defensive power move. Stick with the zone defense and go for interceptions. Don't blitz that much. St. Louis Rams: Best team in NFC West by far and are equally powerful both ways How to beat 'em- Blitzing when they are in a pass formation causes bad passes and can lead to turnovers. They play zone defense so if you send 2 recievers in the same area you can pass to one of them for a completion. If you get by them when you're on offense you can put up a large amount of style points to get a gamebreaker before them. Don't style as freely as you normally would because their team is fast and will force you to fumble. Try to keep the ball away from Marshall Faulk and capitalize when they are being cocky with the ball. This team may be overwhelming at first, but keep trying and you'll beat them. Seattle Seahawks: Weak offense and defense. How to beat 'em- Trick plays will fool them and fast players will have a field day against them. Their blockers aren't great and blitzing from the sides will shut down their offense. They usually play a zone and if you buy enough time then they will break away and create open recievers. Watch out for reverses and their running back Shaun Alexander. This should be an easy win. NFC West All-Stars: Better offense and defense than any other team here. How to beat 'em- Since there are players from all different teams, they aren't very fluent. 4 of 7 of the players are from the Rams but Jeff Garcia is the QB and they don't mix well. Their passing plays don't work nearly as well. Playing a good zone defense will shut down the pass. If you can get more gamebreakers or take-aways than them, it makes a win all the easier. Just keep them off- balance with trick plays and go to your best player when things get rough. AFC West Denver Broncos: Take advantage of their poor play calling and the game is yours How to beat 'em- Denver is not a very fast team, run many of the same plays, and aren't smart with the ball. They don't have very strong tacklers so run power dominates and you can burn them. Sometimes they will pitch the ball to linemen or other players with low carrying. When they do so, you should use the defensive power move on them andforce an easy fumble. Punish them on them on defense when they call stupid plays. If you get in a rhythm, just don't give up and the game is yours. San Diego Chargers: Worst team in the division. How to beat 'em- On offense you should try to pass often and deep. The team likes the 2+ man blitz which will leave recievers wide open for you to pass to. Also, the teams good tacklers aren't that fast and if you can get a quick RB past the LB, it's clear sailing from there. On defense watch out for passes you can pick off because Drew Brees will throw one every so often. They aren't a great team but they don't give up. Easy win. Kansas City Chiefs: Best team even with the All-Stars. How to beat 'em- If you have a quick RB, he will show his skills by simply running outside. Their defensive team for some reason stays in the middle of the field for some reason. They are an average speed team so passing will help. Watch out for Preist Holmes and Tony G because they can foil defensive strategies with their run power. The best way to slow down the offense is blitzing. If you follow all this, you'll earn a well deserved win. Oakland Raiders: Horrible at defending the pass, great at throwing it. How to beat 'em- Learn to pass and then do it. Deep passes= huge yardage or TD. PASS! PASS! PASS! The team can not defend it and just keep going. Their offense is very good and they love the pass but can't run. If you have fast DBs go with man on man, if not, stick with the zone. The best way to beat them is to keep scoring and to do that, PASS! PASS! PASS! run PASS! PASS! AFC West All-Stars: They're supposed to be All-Stars. How to beat 'em- On defense try to put pressure on the offensive line and if you get through you will either sack Gannon, force a fumble, or create a bad pass. As you can see, those are pretty good things and so just keep blitzing and expect the pass. The team prefers the pass despite the fact they have Priest Holmes. Try to keep passing or give the ball to an agile RB. I truly think the Chiefs are a harder team than than these "All-Stars" so you will win if you try. NFC North Chicago Bears: They got nothing. How to beat 'em- The team likes shallow passes, but they have a weak offensive line. To easily beat them, just select a play that covers shallow zones and has blitzing such as outer attack. On offense, passing will kill them or a quick, agile RB. For really easy scores, just toss the ball to your RB and have him bring it down the field. This is an easy win. Detroit Lions: An average Joe team. How to beat 'em- Detroit has no star players and is easily beatable. They have bad zone D and horrible coverage altogether. Your recievers will have a field day with there defense and you should be able to beat them without any help. Green Bay Packers: Tough offense, bad defense. How to beat 'em- Offense will be a breeze for you. Thier players can't handle 3 recievers and it will be too much for them. They really can't tackle so run power will only help and they really can't run. Just stay with a zone defense against Brett Farve and the game is yours. Minnesota Vikings: Run 'n gun team. How to beat 'em- Run. Any RB can get by them and score for the TDs. This team is just as easy to beat as any other because they can't handle the blitz. Only threat is Randy Moss on the reverses and Daunte Culpepper as a runner. Again, this is a pretty easy win. NFC North All-Stars: Bad division has bad All-Stars? Go figure. How to beat 'em- Like every other team in this division, they can't handle blitzes or passes and is an easy win. Nothing to it but there is something weird. These All-Stars don't even have Randy Moss, I guess there not really all stars. AFC North Cincinatti Bengals: Their offense is better than defense. How to beat 'em- Offense. Just keep passing and running. Their coverage is a confused mix of zone and man on man. Pump fake for some extra time and find your open reciever then hit him for an easy score. When you are on defense, you will be able to sack the QB with ease because he takes way too long to find a reciever. Don't bite on the play-action plays and your win is insured. Cleavland Browns: Their offense is better than defense. How to beat 'em- Just keep your normal strategy and apply it. Running will do wonders here because they are a slow team and can't handle jukes and spins. If you tend to pass, just buy some time and wait on your WR. It might be a slow game but if you hold on, you'll win. Baltimore Ravens: Super-duper defense. How to beat 'em- In order to take control of this game, you need to use a wide variety of passes and runs. The defenses will fall apart if you can use different plays and still get yardage. Hold onto the ball at all costs but still try to juke and stuff. If you can score every drive, you will win, but a take-away wouldn't hurt. Pittsburg Steelers: Best team in AFC North excluding the All-Stars. How to beat 'em- Their man on man coverage will create mismatches with your better recievers. Try to go to your best reciever every pass. Passing will get you the most yardage, but you still have to run. Force and recover a couple fumbles and you are on your way to victory. AFC North All-Stars: Defense is worse than Ravens but still good. How to beat 'em- When you are running the ball, try to run towards their off. players like the QB and RB because they can't tackle beans. You need to run more than before and some trick plays will help. Practice with them and find what plays you are best at if you need to. Just remember to hold onto the ball and equal out running and passing. NFC South Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Toughest defense in the game (of the normal teams). How to beat 'em- The only way to beat them is with a very good offense or an offense with good play calling. You need these three things to stand a chance: Quick passes, great carrying, and the ability to pitch the ball. The entire defense will run at you and smash you against the wall to get the ball so you must either hold onto it or pitch it to someone you know can hold on. When you're on defense, try to get through the offensive line because the linemen are just defensive players so they are not good at blocking. Don't be afraid to use a gamebreaker on offense if you are having problems and don't give up. It took me 16 minutes to beat them my first time. Atlanta Falcons: The opposite of Tampa Bay. How to beat 'em- Shut down their offense. If Micheal Vick gets the ball, he doesn't have great carrying so try to force a fumble. Spying and blitzing is the best way to stop them so you can imagine the play spy and blitz will work. When you're on offfense there is not much work to do so style it up. Carolina Panthers: Worst team in division. How to beat 'em- Not a hard team at all. On offense you can style all you want but have to be cautious of the fields random walls. When you play your defense, use blitzes and man on man. If you try you will stop at least one offensive drive insuring victory for you. Easy win. New Orlean Saints: Play smart and it is yours. How to beat 'em- The Saints are almost identical to the Panthers. This team doesn't really like to style so you can take advantage of that and win before they get a gamebreaker. Don't be stupid and style dive into the endzone with someone right on your ass. You might want to run more than usual because it works here. NFC South All-Stars: Defense is outstanding and offense is alright. How to beat 'em- The flaw in their defense is their coverage. If you buy enough time, it will break away and leave someone open. One idea is to switch your QB and RB for a play, select a pass play then press L1 and up, wait for your WRs to get downfield, and then run for a 20 yard gain with your 'QB'. Actually, that'll work about once. Remember to blitz on 1st-3rd down, then play a zone on 4th. Don't think to much, just play and win. AFC South Buffalo Bills: All pass and no run. How o beat 'em- The team doesn't have good deep coverage and they mainly play man on man so a fast WR will do great. If you wait for your WR, they'll get open. What I found out is that they do not have any running game, Eric Moulds is a WR and is the RB for the team, not Travis Henry! Watch out for Drew Bledsoe because he has a golden arm and the team likes to style. They will probably get a gamebreaker before you do; nevertheless, you will still win. Miami Dolphins: Supposed to be the best team in this division, but aren't. How to beat 'em- They have a poor man on man D, offensive line, and tackling. They are a very cocky team and even threw a style pass on 4th and 4. You can probably get Ricky Williams to fumble when you want and it is easy to return thier fumbles for def. TDs. Try quick passes and play-action or better yet, a quick play-action pass. Not as hard as they seem. New York Jets: J-E-T-S! Jets are bad! Yeah! How to beat 'em- Blitz in and then switch to a DB and go for an int. The Jets lack any pass defense and that allows you to pass all day. A reciever will be either open or barely covered making easy completions and TDs. Just watch Curtis Martin and Chad Pennington when they're on offense. New England Patriots: Former Super Bowl Champions aren't that bad. Whodathunk? How to beat 'em- A very good QB (Passing 17+) will dominate but only if he risks int. by squeezing the ball through defenders. Their running back isn't great so they stick with the pass and they call easy and predictable plays. The defensive plays all zone and zoned out work very well. Don't try to blitz too much because Tom Brady will make you pay. AFC East All-Stars: Superbolous (Very good). How to beat 'em- When you are on offense, Ricky Williams will have to cover a WR so just throw to the player he's covering. When on defense, blitz all you want but make sure to leave at least 3 people back to guard the pass. Outer attack is a good play to select. If you can capitalize on all of their mistakes and don't run on 4th and 20, it won't be too hard. NFC East Dallas Cowboys: The surprise of the division. How to beat 'em- Offensively, it will be hard for you. The best way to always get yards are quick passes, passes to all recievers, and very fast players. The Pit is a horrible place for offenses because you cannot juke or spin and will have a very hard time with any sort of running plays. I strongly recommend that you should pass every chance you get and hope for openings. On defense, use an all-out blitz such as road kill and come hard from the outside. Also, watch Quincy Carter and go man on man to make sure there are no open recievers. Philadelphia Eagles: Not as hard as they look. How to beat 'em- Make sure you have won a game in this division before you play the Eagles because then you'll know how The Pit feels and have a better chance. On offense, if they blitz, just pass the ball to your best reciever no matter where he is. If you can keep all your drives alive on offense, they will wear down and make it easier for you. Always go for the ball on defense; jump at passes, dive on fumbles and go all out for stolen pitches. Stay in a zone defense and blitz occasionally for an easier win. New York Giants: No real problem here. How to beat 'em- New York is weaker on defense than the Cowboys so you won't have a very hard time scoring on offense. Try ro run more than pass even though the field is horrible and when you do pass, be careful of their D-backs. On defense just do what you normally do but look for oppurtunities to get the ball back. Washington Redskins: Easy team. How to beat 'em- They will pass about 80% of the time so work your defense with zone and man on man. Blitz with your defensive line all you want because just like in real life, the offensive line cannot keep defenders out. You can sack Ramsey about once every 3 or 4 plays so keep notice. Offense won't be hard but keep the ball away from Champ Bailey. NFC East All-Stars: One of the highest rated teams overall. How to beat 'em- By the time you get here, you will know how to score easily. There defense isn't great and so just hold onto the ball. Watch out for their trick plays like reverses and pitches and keep going. This won't be too hard of a win, but you'll have to work for it. AFC South Indianapolis Colts: Best offense of all normal teams, normal defense. How to beat 'em- Since they are such a great offense, you have to work hard on defense. You need to blitz when you know Manning is going to pass like on 3rd and long. He will throw a quick bad pass, and if you are playing zone, you have to jump at it. Get inot a rhythm on offense and defense and the game gets all the easier. Be careful though when you use a gamebreaker because they know how to defend it. They have very smart playcalling so try to return the ball for a defensive touchdown every chance you get. Jacksnville Jaguars: Come on, it's Jacksonville. How to beat 'em- You really shouldn't have any worries with them. There good qualities are tackling and unpredictable play-calling. Other than that, you shouldn't have any worries or concerns. Pass quickly and blitz often. Houston Texans: Easiest team here. How to beat 'em- This team is as easy, if not easier, than Jacksonville. David Carr takes too long to pass and they have a weak off. line. Try blitzes and man on man defenses with pass plays on offense. Tennese Titans: Powerful team. How to beat 'em- On offense the Titans like to use their power and run more than pass. Try not to blitz too much but when you do, go outside. The best way to get them is to guess what kind of play they are doing depending on their formation, and then try to stop it. It's a gamble, but if you guess right, it pays off. On offense for you, go deep with the passes to good recievers and run to the strong side (whatever side has more blockers). Try to balance runs and passes and then you can style all you want. AFC South All-Stars: Not as hard as Titans. How to beat 'em- They run a lot of plays from the same formations and don't have a runningback. They will probably funmble a lot for you and you can get them back if you dive. Just stick to your normal strategy but blitz less. Call the run and pass evenly. NOTES: This entire ladder mode portion was completed starting from NFC West and working my way all the way to the AFC South. Since teams get harder as they go along, it is smarter to save easier divisions for later such as NFC and AFC West and North. If you do that, you will have a much easier time completing the mode but this guide will not help you as much. Since most people figure this out too late, I wrote the strategy guide in the way they most likely did it. I recommend unlocking the harder divisions first so you don't run into too many problems. Any questions or comments can be submitted to me at blinkchld7@yahoo.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NFL LEGENDS This is what it all comes down to. The big kahuna, the grand finale, the works. After you finally beat all those teams and All-Stars, you play the hardest team out there, the NFL Legends themselves. They are made up of some of the best players of all time. You beat them and you are a real NFL Legend and you get one of their players for your team. How to beat them: First, only if you want, play this team in a quick game and put it on easy. Gain confidence and knowledge on their team and get ready to put it to the real test and play them in ladder mode where it counts. A few things first: -You'll have to face them more than once to beat them or get really lucky. -You're gonna need luck to beat them and all of your skills. -When you play them and re-play them, they alternate RBs between Barry Sanders and Ronnie Lott. Find who you think is easier and then play a game with who you want in it. -Take the sack over the interception. Here it is: Play smart. +Do not try trick plays unless you found a way for them to work. +Do not tempt them with a lob pass or pass right over their heads. +You'll need to pass more than run to get those first downs and TDs. +They will sometimes give up a big run and you will need to allow blockers to come over and help you to get all you can out of a run. +Passes will need to be to the most open reciever no matter who it is. +When you're on defense you need to get every take-away you possibly can. If you can get the ball back and score on that drive, it will help sooo much. +You need more possesions and scores than them so you need the ball now more than ever. +Use your defensive linemen to the max. because they have defensive linemen as their blockers. +They will make their mistakes and if you're ready, the game will be yours. Good luck and don't stop trying until you win. ############################################################################### Cheats: I'd like to thank the people at www.gamewinners.com for the following cheats. Because when you start NFL Challenge, you choose which kind of roster you want and if you choose custom, you're roster will have no players with skills. But if you choose another type like Balanced or pass-offense, you will have players with skills depending on the type of roster you chose. -What's the easiest division to beat? NFC West. -What's the hardest? Depending on when you unlocked it, probably AFC South. -Should I try to go for impact items early on? It depends how many attribute points you have, I wouldn't get any until I had at least 17 blocks filled so I could fill it up with +3. -How many tries does it usually take to beat the NFL Legends? Again, it depends on your skill but usually 5-10.
