How to acquire these books is simple: Data Drain. There be 8 in all, so get
them for ultimate gaming pleasure, and as well as cool stuff to reward yourself
with. Having started this game w/o data transfer or for some odd reason it got
corrupted <ouch, that sucks> or for whatever reason here are the requirements.

In Theta Servers' Grunty Farm you can raise the following: <.HACK//INFECTION>

Noble Grunty:
The BASIC and default Grunty in ALL of the Servers Towns. Not really special. A
little thing for those who hate this grunty. Keep talkin to it, and he will
start to hate you. My friends noticed it in Mutation. I laughed when I saw what
he says to you... only for a little bit... ya. "MON AMI!"

***HOW TO MAKE***
24 or 25 Golden Eggs, or anything really.

Iron Grunty:
The second grunty made, and is ready for action. Spiffin' the armor man. Now
where is that SWORD, "CLANG"!

***HOW TO MAKE***
4 Piney Apples

12 Golden Eggs

Poison Grunty:
One crazy arse grunty that is like a mutated, one-eyed... frog? Oh, come on!
This thing rocks, well sorta, ok, maybe not but it has some good items at
least, "RIBBIT"

Bony Grunty:
"Master? Rattle, Rattle." This Grunty is pretty freaky, but a good freaky kind
of way. This Grunty is excellent for the flag race, and provides some good item
tradings.

1 Mandragora
1 Snakey Cactus
17 Golden eggs.

Snakey Grunty: "Red Chief? Hiss!" This Grunty is what I think one of the
coolest Grunty's. Well for Mutation it was. This Grunty has potential in the
races but doesn't take teh cake in my book. However, if you like summons, and
such, trade with Snakey Grunty, he give you the hook up.

***HOW TO MAKE***
9 Oh No Melons
4 Piney Apples
3 Snakey Cactus
9 Golden Eggs.

On Sigma Server you can raise the following: <.HACK//OUTBREAK>

Aqua Grunty:
One of the more... Unique Gruntys in the game. All water and Kite doesn't
drown, OR sink. I like 'em better than Noble though... Actually all others but
Noble Grunty. "Glubglubglub..."

6 Invisible Eggs
5 Cordyceps
3 La Pumpkin

Milky Grunty:
Well 'DARLIN!'.... OH GOD! A CRAZY MOFO-IN SMILING GRUNTY... Oh well.. Still
better than Noble Grunty. She makes an intresting comment to Kite when you make
her an adult... *cough* Animals...and Kite??? ......ANYWAY!

***HOW TO MAKE***

On Omega Server you can raise the following: <.HACK//QUARANTINE>

Rocker Grunty:
Baby, Baby! This Grunty is pimped out to the max. It's like Elvis and a old
fashioned hot rod with shades. The fastest of the Gruntys, BUT don't use him
for the race. <You get either 2nd or 3rd with him>.

***HOW TO MAKE***
18 Golden Eggs
4 Cordyceps

Wooden Grunty:
Heh heh... This Grunty rocks. Maybe an old man, but as cool as they come. The
best for the race on this server. He doth be the last of the bunch. Scoring the
best time in all races <on each server>, you score an image of all Gruntys,
which is a nice addition.

***HOW TO MAKE***

3 Cordyceps

THIS CONCLUDES GRUNTY RAISING... So sad, no more little buggers to raise, and
enjoy the comments they make, and...stuff. A TIP ABOUT GRUNTY RACES THOUGH..
TAKE THE TURNS TIGHTLY, MAKE SURE YOU CAN BEAT YOUR OWN 1ST PLACE SCORE AND NOT
BE ABLE TO BEAT IT AGAIN... I MADE IT TO WHERE I CAN'T TO IT AGAIN...(SADNESS)

Also on Sigma server, since it seems it is a problem for some, make sure to
start immediately to the left, then go through the middle on left side, and get
the purple flag, taking corners sharply and such, it helps. ALSO HOLD DOWN ON
THE ANALOG STICK, it may help... MAY! OK, laterz!

For Omega Server, use Woody Grunty, and make for the first flag. THen cut on to
the right path, making sure to keep the cornering tight, and sliding with what
you can <use the right analog stick to move the camera to your advantage>.
Repeat until you get a feel for it, and try for all the prizes. Even 2nd place.
