Issue the "Skills" command and allow Black Rose to use her skills. Headhunter will cast Ani Zot to dish out around 50. If he does this, use repth far away on Black Rose to heal her. Since Headhunter's weakness is lightning, use various lightning scrolls to dish out major damage. Eventualy, his green barrier will say "Protect Break". Go to you skills menu and select "Data Drain". You can now actually cause damage to it! Keep up this strategy and it will fall easily. _______________________________________________________________________________ ---------------------- 3.2)- Rock Head ---------------------- _______________________________________________________________________________ Name: Rock Head Level: 9 Hp: 410 Pp: 185 Element: Earth Weakness: Wood Attacks: Rig Saem (Heal 8 hp every 2 seconds), Slam, Rock twirl Difficulty: 4/10 Strategy: This battle is a bit tougher, but not much. Issue the "skills" command and have mistral cast wood spells/scrolls. You should be busy healing party members and using wood based scrolls. Try not to let anyone die as you do not want to waste any ressurects at this point in the game. You must constantly hit this guy because he heals 8 hp every 2 seconds! _______________________________________________________________________________ ----------------------- 3.3)- Red Wyrm ----------------------- _______________________________________________________________________________ Name: Red Wyrm Level: 10 Hp: 850 Pp: 105 Element: Fire Weakness: Water Attacks: Fire Breath, Vak Don, Tail slap Difficulty: 6/10 Strategy: This guy can handle a LOT of damage. To make this even harder, you are fighting with only Kite! Make sure you level up to at LEAST 13. The wyrm's fire breath attack can deal a good 120 hp worth of damage. Use a burning oil on yourself to cut this in half. To make things better, this also cuts the 50hp damage of it's Vak Don attack down to 20 or 30! It also helps to have armor which raises your fire attribute. Use physical attacks on it until you can data drain it. Once you do this, it will start using it's fire breath attack much more fequently. Back off and use water based scrolls to deal around 80 to 100 hp of damage to it. _______________________________________________________________________________ ----------------------- 3.4)- Stone Turtle ----------------------- _______________________________________________________________________________ Name: Stone Turtle Level: 13 Hp: 1090 Pp: 1090 Element: Earth Weakness: Wood Attacks: Rig Saem (Heals 16 hp per 2 seconds), Smash, various earth spells Difficulty: 5/10 Strategy: This battle is fought much like the Rock Head battle. You must con- stantly dish out damage to counter the effects of Rig Saem! Issue "Skills" command and allow Mia and Elk to use magic and skills. This guy can deal out around 80-120 damage per attack. When this happens, issue the "First Aid" command and allow Elk to use La Repth to heal your party. Use wood skills like "Gale of Swords" and various wood based spells which will deal loads of damage. Eventualy, after you data drain him, you can data drain him a second time! Use this to your advantage to save health drinks and time. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------------------- 3.5)- Killer Snaker --------------------- _______________________________________________________________________________ Name: Killer Snaker Level: 16 Hp: 1330 Pp: 485 Element: Earth Weakness: Wood Attacks: MeGan Rom, Physical Attacks Difficulty: 1/10 Strategy: This guy can be easy or hard, whichever you choose. If you have Hell's Gate for Kite, you can unleash "Gale of Swords" which can get this boss seriously hurt. Use a Mage's Soul to constantly deal major damage to this boss. Also, use La Repth with Elk to heal any lost Hp. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------------------- 3.6)- Thousand Trees --------------------- _______________________________________________________________________________ Name: Thousand Trees Level: 18 Hp: 1090 Pp: 2750 Element: Wood Weakness: Earth Attacks: RaJuk Rom Difficulty: 6/10 Strategy: You should probably level up before taking this guy on. I am a level up freak, so I was level 26. He's easy if you have good skills like "Twirling Dark" and other level 2 tech skills. This guy is slow and he doesn't hurt all that much. Bring a party of Kite, Black Rose, and Gardenia and you should be fine. Issue the "Skills" command and allow them two to do their part while you hack away with "Twirling Dark" and your other skills. Use Ol Repth (if you have it) to recover 400hp to any one who is hurt. If you do not have Ol repth, use Rip Maen on any character who fall dead to this boss. You can get Rip Maen from the "Scarab Earring". To get the scarab earing, use the Springs of mist to upgrade your head armor. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------------------- 3.7)-Skeith (Part 1) --------------------- -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ 3.71)- Preparations -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ -Bring a party of Kite, Black Rose, and Gardenia -Equip Kite with the Scarab Earring. This allows him to cast great healing spells. -Get around 10 restoratives and 10 antidotes -Be at least level 32 -Get the ceramic helm from the Gott statue at Passionate, Dog-Dancing, Tri Pansy and equip it to Black Rose before the battle. This will allow her to cast rig saem and rig gaem before the battle. If one of you characters dies, do not bother recasting both these spells. -Get at least 20 pure waters. These reduce the damage taken by "Judgement" attack. -For a more speedy alternative to the scarrab earring, bring plenty of ressurects and health potions. -Pray to god that you do not die on your first _______________________________________________________________________________ Name: The Terror of Death: Skeith Level: 99 Hp: Unknown Pp: Unknown Element: None Weakness: None Attacks: Data Drain, Judgement, Cross Stab, Cross Swing Difficulty: 9/10 Strategy: This guy is reall a pain in the butt. all of his attacks do well over 300hp of damage except his Data Drain attack which puts every status effect on one of your characters! Use restorative and antidotes to counter this attack. His Cross stab is an attack where he stabs his cross in the ground dealing 400hp worth of damage to anyone it hits! His sword swing only deals around 300 damage to a single character. His final attack, Judgement, does about 400-500 damage to your whole party, regardless of where they are! Use a pure water at the beggining of this battle to cut the damage done by judgement in half. Issue the "Skills" command and and stay back as far as you can. Watch as your party members slowly whittle at Skeith's hp. They will constantly die, there is no way to counter this except the Rip Maen spell or a ressurect. You must be patient and don't try to go in and attack Skeith because he will use his cross stab skill which will obliterate you and your party. All you have to do is stay back and use Rip Maen and ressurects. Don't bother try to actually heal Black Rose and Gardenia as Skeith deals out more damage than you can heal. Use any Health Potions you have on yourself. Every time he casts Judgement, you should use health potions. Keep this up until you can final data drain Skeith. _______________________________________________________________________________ --------------------- 3.8)- Skeith (Part 2) --------------------- _______________________________________________________________________________ Name: Data Drained Skeith Level: 1 Hp: 4000 Pp: N/A Element: None Weakness: None Attacks: Judgement, Sword Stab Difficulty: 10/10 Strategy: Use the same strategy as posted before. Just because he lost two of his attacks does not mean he is easier. In fact, he is much harder than before. He uses his attacks 2 times as much, which means he will be casting Judgement every 15 seconds! He also moves around faster. Just use the same strategy and stay back from him! You don't want to die once you get this far into the battle _______________________________________________________________________________ ############################################################################### 4.0) Parasite Dragon ############################################################################### ------------------ 4.1)- Preparations ------------------ -Be at least level 34 before taking this monster on. -Have everyone's ultimate weapons. -Bring a party of Black Rose and Gardenia with Kite. -Have around 20 health potions, 25 ressurects, and around 15 mage's souls. -Bring Rip Maen spell. -Bring at least 15 Restoratives _______________________________________________________________________________ Name: Parasite Dragon Level: 30 Hp: 9999 Pp: 8888 Element: None Weakness: None Attacks: Breath, Confusion, Claw Swipe Difficulty: 9/10 Strategy: Start off by sending Gardenia and Black Rose to attack the dragon. They should deal around 100-150 damage per hit. Stay back away from the dragon because it's fire breath attack will kill anyone who is in front of it. Once it kills gardenia and black rose, use a single ressurect and cast rip maen skill once to save PP and ressurects. The dragon will confuse gardenia or black rose. You should immediately use a restorative to counter this. All you should be doing is reviving your 2 other party members. If by some chance kite gets hit, immediately use a health potion to restore kite's HP. Use a mage sould when Kite runs out of HP. Do not use magic in this battle. The parasite dragon is magic resistant and cannot be hurt by magic! When it says that you can data drain the dragon, do so because it is the only way to get the rare twin blade swords called Hyakkidouran. _______________________________________________________________________________ ############################################################################### 5.0) Credits ############################################################################### -The many strategies on Gamefaqs for beating the bosses. -My bf for providing the parasite dragon strategy. -Bradygames walkthrough for some tips. -Anyone else I left out who helped me in making this guide.
