I been wanting to play this game since like 3 years ago and now that I finally got it, I liked it a lot. The graphics of this game are beautiful (well, after Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, it was a MUST to have the same quality graphics in the game). This was going to be my first started and complete guide written in 2010, but because I got a PSP, it wasn't. Anyway, I've played through the game twice and now in this third playthrough, I decided to FAQ it. Why this one and not other Final Fantasy game? Well, the answer is pretty simple. This is the little list I made at the beginning of the year, so let's see if I can finish before it ends, shall I? -- Write for at least: - Write for my Final Fantasy game [Dirge of Cerberus]. - Write for THE Resident Evil game [Resident Evil 4]. - Write for a Silent Hill game [Silent Hill 3]. - Complete my Tales of Legendia and Tales of Eternia Walkthroughs. - Write for at least 10 SMS Games. These take me roughly 3 days. so that'll be easy. - Find a co-writer for my Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. I already found one for my PKMN Platinum guide - A Darkstar Ripclaw. - Get my KB count to 7,000 KB. I'm almost there dude! That's a pretty long list, as well as ambitious as all hell. I'll try my best to do all that and see what the future has in store for me. So by all means, continue reading the guide. There're some things I want to address, so please read the following paragraphs: - I'm writing this for free and because I like this game (just like I mentioned above). If you are looking for tons of eloquent ways for me to say "move here and shoot the enemies", you are going to be so disappointed. This guide is way, way too big to begin with, and lofty language does not help. - If you take a quick scan thru my guide, you won't find the explanations for battle basics, main menu, saving-loading, etc. Why, you ask? Well, because the game manual and in-game tutorials do a perfect job explaining the battle system. - The usage of abbreviations. When you're in my place or any who writes for GameFAQ's or any other page, writing a guide for any game of such proportions, people complain about using too many abbreviations. You have no idea how helpful abbreviations are. It also looks better in every aspect you think. - My guide is not the only one out there. I'm not forcing you to use mine, but if you use others, then you better be prepared for lots of spoilers, which will ruin the element of surprise for you, as well as to get you lost in the walkthrough (like what happened to me when I tried to use some of the FAQ's in the site). Also, people that have problems with how I write my guide are from slim to none. - The spoilers are great issues in making guides. I am a player of the game, just like you are. The first time I played through this game was completely by myself. I didn't read any spoilers, therefore nothing was spoiled for me. All the story's ups and downs that were supposed to surprise me had such effect. And I really think it's not fair spoiling such story elements to you. Even if I want to spoil it to you, I'll bit my fingers so you can get the most spoiler-free walkthrough here. With all this said, let's start with the guide! Enjoy this guide and remember that it is a spoiler-free, so you don't have to worry about important info of the game being spoiled. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ~-~ ~-~ ~-~ 1.1] Contact Rules ~-~ ~-~ ~-~ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-.sx101.-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= '-----' Any critics, suggestions, spelling mistakes, contributions are welcome, so please send them at the following e-mail: --> vinheim@gmail.com <-- I always reply to all the mails I get, since feedback is the best reward of all. o Important ----------- The only sites allowed to host my FAQ's from here on out are the following: - www.gamefaqs.com - www.supercheats.com - www.neoseeker.com This is because many sites either steal my guides or they don't update them, making it really hard on me because many readers from other sites often ask me question from an incomplete guide, so this is a better way to keep track of my FAQ's and my readers. Please, if you're not on the list above, don't even bother asking about hosting them because the answer will be NO. Thanks. ----------- I also have MSN and AIM, but please, if you add me, do NOT start bombing me with IM. Alrighty, once all the scenes finish and you gain control, it's time to save some people and kick some ass - Rock On! From where we start, shoot them once to kill these DG Soldiers. Now go E to find 'Potion'. Go up the ladder, kill 2 more DG Soldiers and when you get to the outer wall (E most side), go S and break the crate with physical attacks to get '500 Gil'. Now go N and you'll see some DG Soldiers from a distance. There's a barrel with oil here, so shoot it to kill all the DG Soldiers at once. Continue a little bit to the N, take out 2 more DG Soldiers and when you see an entrance going W, ignore it, go N a little bit and follow the outer wall to the W. When you get to the end, you'll find 'Potion'. Backtrack just a little bit and look S where the white chimney is to find something glowing. This is the first Memore Capsule, so we get "MEMORY CAPSULE #1" [1] (coordinates F3). Return now to the entrance you skipped, start descending and you'll find 3 DG Soldiers. Take them out ASAP and go all the way to the bottom. A little scene triggers here and then the map opens. Go W and a Mission starts. You need to protect the civilians. Let the people run past by you and kill the DG Soldiers behind them. When you get to the main street, start going S, kill the DG Soldiers and the Beast Soldier. On the E side, you'll find 'Potion' right next to a tent. Keep going S, ignore the path to the W for now and when you get all the way to the S, go E and you'll find 2 DG Soldiers and a Beast Soldier. Take them out, go E past the fence and check behind the crate to find '500 Gil'. Go E some more and you'll find a civilian. After rescuing him, there's a path going S at the fence. Go S and you'll find a pair of civilians. Return to the main street and follow the path to the W that I told you to ignore. Here, you'll find a Mako Point. These recover your MP. Also, grab the Fire Materia, equip it on all 3 weapon slots and go W some more to trigger a scene. Once it's over, go N some more hugging the left wall and shoot the barrel to kill the Beast Soldier and some DG Soldiers (around 2-3). You'll find 1 more DG Soldiers in the area, so take care of him and break the crates on the NW corner of the area to find '500 Gil'. Now check the blue laser gate to have a female DG Soldier appear from whence you came and another one drops from a roof near the gate. Kill them both, grab the 'Cardkey', open the gate and proceed N. Follow the path and when you hear gunshots and screams, quickly look N you'll find a helicopter called Dragonfly. Shoot it to make it fly away and help the civilians. Once done this, go E from here, kill the DG Soldiers that pop out of the houses. Use the Mako Point and continue to the E to have some more DG Soldiers appear. Once you kill them, open up your map and you'll see that the path starts leading NE. Check the second house from E to W on the N side to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #2" [2] in a window (coordinates I10). Keep following the path while killing the 2 DG Soldiers that appear to trigger a little scene. As you proceed NW, you'll see the Beast Soldier take the little girl inside the crate. Let him do so (you can't stop it) and you'll have another mission. Save her. Quickly go NE to find the mother being attacked. Kill the Beast Soldier and approach the fountain near the crate and several DG Soldiers will appear through the area (some are inside the houses and shoot you through the windows), as well as some Beast Soldiers. There are like 2 Beast Soldiers and like 5 DG Soldiers. Once you take care of them, open the crate to have the Beast Soldier that took the little girl come out. Kill it and you've rescued the little girl. After the little scene, time to grab the loot from the area. Go to the NW corner and destroy the crate to find '500 Gil'. Grab 'Hi-Potion' from on top of the crate and grab 'Potion' from behind the large crate. Now check the NW corner to find 'Potion'. Take a look inside the fountain from here to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [3] (coordinates J7). Now check the SW corner of the fountain to find 'Phoenix Down'. Now start going NW from this area and soon enough you'll find a path to the N blocked by a blue laser gate. A mission starts as you get close. Time to go find that Keycard. Before continuing, approach the gate and look S to find the "MEMORY CAPSULE #4" [4] (coordinates H7). It's on top of some wooden planks over the light window. Now continue to the W and a little scene triggers. Quickly dispose of the enemies to save the little girl. Continue to the W, grab the 'Sniper Scope' and equip it on your weapons slots. Now go all the way W (ignore the path to the N for now) and a little scene will show you 3 civilians being chased by 4 DG Soldiers. Quickly take out your Sniper and use Fire against them. Since the radius of the explosion is so-so, you might kill more than 1 with a Fire shot. Once you take care of this, return and NOW go N. As you pass through the hallway, some DG Soldiers appear. Quickly shoot the barrel to take care of all of them. Now grab the 'Cardkey' and '500 Gil' from behind the crate. Now return to where the blue laser gate is and go inside. As you approach the first set of stairs, 3 DG Soldiers appear. Use a single Fire shot to take care of them. Now go up this first set of stairs to have 2 more Soldiers fire at you. Take care of them and go up to where they are. Now check the SE alcove to find 'Phoenix Down' and 'Handgun Bullets x180'. If you picked the previous Phoenix Down and still have it, use it to have it revive you when you die and pick this one up to have a spare one. Now continue on to the W and at the bottom of the stairs, 4 DG Soldiers are waiting for you. Same like before, use Fire. One of them will drop 'Long Barrel'. This Long Barrel increases your POW and RNG by a lot (well, more RNG), but decreases your SPD (fire rate) and WT, making you run a tad slower. I say go for it. It's a ton better. Now use the Mako Point and look W of this Mako Point to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #5" [5] (coordinates H5). Now check the E alcove to find 'Handgun Bullets x180' and 'Hi-Potion'. Now open the door and go outside to trigger a little scene and a... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: DRAGONFLY ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: This fight is not as hard as you may think. The first thing to do, equip the Fire Materia and the Long Barrel. Now start aiming and shooting the Dragonfly. You may notice the barrels through the area. Ignore them for now and try to stay away from him. Let me list its attacks: o Machine Gun. Rapid fire that deals around 7-10 dmg. per hit. o Rockets. Several rockets are fired at you which deals around 80 dmg. o Reinforcements. Once you start depleting its HP, it'll drop down some DG Soldiers. These are all the attacks. Try to always move around, just like it is so you can evade its Machine Gun attack more easily. Now, when it drops DG Soldiers, quickly take care of them with Fire. Once they're gone, keep shooting Dragonfly. It doesn't have that much HP, so it'll go down fast. There are some items scattered through the area, but let them there. We'll be coming back later for them anyway. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== Watch the scene after the fight. Inside the house, go behind the desk next to you to find 'Phoenix Down'. Now go W and enter the first door on the N side. Grab '500 Gil' and use the shop if you need to (the music machine). I recommend modifying your Cerberus to Cerberus II. It'll pass from 60 POW all the way to 105 POW - almost doubled. Return to the hallway and enter the door in front of you to find '500 Gil'. Return, go W some more and enter the next door on Vincent's right to find '500 Gil' and 'Handgun Bullets x180'. Return to the hallway, go W, grab 'Short Barrel' (this one makes you shoot faster, but makes your weapon weaker) and go up the stairs to trigger a scene. Once it's over, kill the DG Soldiers that appear (should be easy with Cerberus II and a Long Barrel) and the scene will continue. I loled so hard with this scene and Cait Sith. Once you regain control, another mission starts - assist WRO. Ok, this area has infinite DG Soldiers, so don't waste your time like I did the first time (I was here like 30 minutes killing Soldiers nonstop XD). You see the central structure of the area? The one that's all rusty? Climb to the top of it to find 'Limit Breaker'. Now go S from this structure to find 'Potion' and 'Potion'. Now check the E side (N of the Mako Point) to find yet another 'Potion'. Now go SE and before going through the gate, break the crates to find '500 Gil', '500 Gil' and 'Potion'. Now go through the gate to the SE and you'll trigger a scene in here. Talk to him about Supplies and grab 5x Vital Rations and 5x Spirit Rations. I like free stuff =3. Talk to him about the other stuff if you're interested and when you regain control, grab 'Griffon Frame'... 'Tis the Machine Gun of Vincent's armory. It has very low POW, but has incredible SPD. No wonder why it's a machine gun. Equip it with a Normal Barrel, Sniper Scope if you want to and Fire Materia. ... and 'Machine Gun Bullets x200'. From here, without moving, look NE and up and you'll find "MEMORY CAPSULE #6" [6] on top of a wooden platform (coordinates E8). Now follow the path and at the fork, go SE and assist the WRO troops. Kill the DG Soldiers, pick up 'Cerberus Relief' that a DG Soldier drops. Equip it if you want, return to the previous fork and go NW to trigger a little scene. Quickly run up the stairs and kill all 4 DG Soldiers and return to the area where you got the Cerberus Relief. Here, check the SW alcove to find some crates. Destroy them to find the 'Cardkey'. Open the map and you'll see 2 paths blocked by the blue laser gate. Follow the N path first, grab '500 Gil' and the 'Cardkey'. Return to the previous area and before proceeding, go to the little fire pit on the N side of the area and Snipe through the fire to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #7" [7]. Now follow the lower path to the E outer wall and go N. You'll be greeted by some DG Sniper Soldiers. Take them out with your Sniper and then climb on the small ledge on the E side. Use the Mako Point and grab 'Handgun Bullets x180'. Before even moving, look W to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #8" [8] on top of the roof (coordinates H8). Now go N and E where the WRO troops are and a scene triggers, as well as a... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: DRAGONFLY GL ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: This fight is pretty similar to the previous one. The only difference is that Dragonfly is now on the ground. He has basically the same attacks, only that there are no reinforcements this time: o Machine Gun. Rapid fire that deals around 15 dmg. per hit. o Rockets. Several rockets are fired at you which deals over 100 dmg. o Reinforcements. Once you start depleting its HP, it'll drop down some DG Soldiers. You can do the same thing you did before. Aim at it, shoot it nonstop with either Cerberus II or Griffon (I recommend Cerberus because it's way stronger) and keep moving. This will make the Machine Gun attack fail a lot. When it shoots the Rockets, you can press [] to bounce them off. That's a nice trick and never new until right now while writing this XD. Also, when you deal enough dmg., it'll lower it top part (where the propeller was) and it has a blue circle. Shoot this to deal severe dmg. against it. If you like to use Magic, there are 2 Mako Point inside 2 crates. One is on the That's all of this fight. Before stopping the strategy, let me tell you that there are tons of items in this area. Most of them are AMMO, Potions and Hi-Potions. Use these that you have when you need to and restock freely here. There are some chests that are useful like Gil, so let me only point those out: o 500 Gil. All the way on the E side. Go up the stairs and follow the lower path E. o 500 Gil. Right next to the Mako Point on the S side of the area. o 500 Gil. SE of the previous Mako Point. o Limit Breaker. He's not that hard. The annoying part is that he comes with several Guard Hounds. I recommend equipping your Cerberus (hopefully a level III) with a Normal Barrel II. Maximum POW and normal SPD. Let me list his attacks first: o Dive attack. He jumps from on top of the rocks to deal medium dmg. Around 90 dmg. or so. o Whip. Just uses his whip on the head to deal around 50 dmg. o Tackle. This is his most dangerous attack. He charges against you to deal massive dmg. Well, massive in comparison to his other attacks. Deals around 200 dmg. o Super whipping. He'll whip you 3 times to deal around 35 dmg. per hit. Not as hard. The first and best thing to do is to take care of the Guard Hounds. One of them will drop the Thunder Materia. Now, you can either go in between all the pillars hunt him down, or you can equip Cerberus III with a Long Barrel II and aim for him (without the Snipe Scope) near the beginning of the fight. Go up and drop down on the other side of the fence to find 'Handgun Bullets x36'. Now go all the way S and go to the blue laser gate marked on the map. Enter the house, which is a bar, and grab 'Potion' and 'Hydra'... The Hydra is THE sniper rifle of the game. It's POW is devastating, but its SPD is very low. Put it in Weapon Slot 3, along with a Long Barrel III, the Sniper Scope and the Thunder Materia. Now go up the stairs and grab 'Rifle Bullets x12', 'Rifle Bullets x12' and 'Rifle Bullets x12'. Now enter the door to the E and you'll be attacked by 3 Beast Soldiers. Move along and another one pops out behind you. Kill it and follow the path until you reach the main area. A scene triggers and your new mission is clear - take out the 15 DG Snipers. When you regain control, return from whence you came (to the SW) and shoot the DG Sniper that was on the scene. From here, look on the right side of the statue-thing in middle to find another DG Sniper on the roof. Pan a little bit to the right (on the other side of the street going inward) from the one you just killed to find the third one. A little bit more to the right and you'll find the fourth one. Now enter the main area, stay behind the fallen rock on your right and look on the roofs to the left side of the arc you're in to find the fifth DG Soldier. Now open the map and you'll see that there's a path going in every of the 8 directions (N, S, W, E, NE, NW, SE, SW). Go to the W one and in middle, look N and up to find your sixth DG Sniper. The last DG Sniper of this part of the chapter is located on the N path. Stick to the statue in the middle and look N to find the last DG Sniper over the large blue laser gate. To proceed the game, you must go to the S path, where the Mako Point is, so go there, kill the DG Soldier, use the Mako Point and grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x60' from the crate. Now try to return and a little kid will run by. Follow him to the W and enter the door he goes in. In here, grab '1,000 Gil' from behind the counter, go up the stairs and kill the DG Soldiers. Use the Shop if you need to (I upgraded my Hydra to Hydra II) and continue going up. Grab 'Potion' and 'Machine Gun Bullets x150' on the top. Now return to the bottom and you'll see the kid run outside and on to the N. Kill both DG Soldiers and grab 'Hi-Potion' from behind them. Now go to the N path where the blue laser gate is and kill both DG Soldiers. Approach the kid to trigger a little scene. New mission. Protect the boy. Remember that the DG Sniper mission is still ongoing. Approach him and follow him. He'll open the door to the NE building, but watch out because a Beast Soldier appears as he opens the door. Once inside, before following the kid up, go the other path to find '1,000 Gil'. Once you're on the top level outside, go E instead of W and at the ledge, look NE to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #1" [12] (coordinates K7) on top of a building (it's very hard to see). Now look S to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #2" [13] (coordinates H10) on top of the statue in the middle of the area. Now start following the kid and when you go up the ladder check on the right side of Vincent to find a ladder going down. Since the kid is safe here, follow the path until you get 'Materia Floater'... This makes you level up by one your materia equipped. If you have Fire, you'll have Fira and so on. Equip this on all except for the Hydra. Now return to where the kid is and at the end of the bridge, 2 Beast Soldiers appear in front of him. Take them out ASAP and before going on, look N from the bridge to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [14] (coordinates F7) on a ledge right in front of you. When you get to the SW bridge, 2 DG Soldiers appear to attack you on the SW side of the bridge. Take them out with the Hydra. On the S bridge, 3 more Beast Soldiers appear, 1 from behind Vincent. Since Vincent is not the target, just let it run past by you for you to kill it easily. When you reach the SE bridge, the kid will stop moving and now there's a DG Sniper. Look for him all the way directly across from you. You're on the SE corner so he's on the NW corner, on top of some yellow/orange billboard. This was your eighth DG Sniper. Now continue and the boy will open the door at the end. He'll unlock the door and step aside. Open the door, go inside and wait for the DG Commander to appear. Kill him with 2 shots and grab 'Cardkey'. Now watch the scene (man, I love Vincent) and when you regain control, return inside the building you came out from (on the E side) and you'll find 'Model Gun'. Now go N, use the Cardkey and as you go N, 3 DG Soldiers appear. There are 2 on the ground and the other one is on the platforms with signs above the street (this one is a DG Sniper #9). Once done that, return to the plaza and 2 more DG Snipers appear. From whence you came, look S on the W side (where the large white billboard is) to find the DG Sniper #10. Now go to the W path and you'll find the DG Sniper #11. Only 5 more to go. Grab the 'Hi-Potion' here as well. Return to the N path and go E to enter a small area. There will a DG Soldier on the ground, and DG Sniper #12 on a platform, so take them out. Stand underneath the platform where the DG Sniper was and look NE to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #4" [15] (coordinates F2). Continue on the path and in the alleyway, you'll find a DG Soldier on a platform on top of the building in front of you and another one is coming your way. Follow the path until you reach the main street once again. On the left side of Vincent as he comes out, you'll see a DG Soldier on the platform across the street moving around. Now locate the stairs near Vincent. Go up and after the second set of steps, before crossing the bridge, look NE to find DG Soldier # 13. Now cross the bridge, use the Mako Point and break the crate to find 'Rifle Bullets x12'. Now cross the second bridge NW and you'll get shot at. When you reach firm ground, use the billboards to crouch and hide yourself and look SE to find DG Soldiers (2 of them). Snipe them down, use the stairs on the NE side of this roof and directly in front you'll find another ladder go up. Follow the path and 2 more DG Soldiers appear (1 in front of you and the other one on the ground). Now follow the path and climb at the end to find a crate. Break it to find '3,000 Gil'. Now stand on the edge of the path and look E across the fence to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #5" [16] (coordinates I8). Now drop down and return following the path you just passed and break all the crates to find 'Machine Gun Bullets x60' and 'Hi-Potion'. There are 2 paths going NE inwards to the building. Go inside them to find 'Limit Breaker' and 'Handgun Bullets x36'. Now go S and when the path forks N and S, go N inside the building and as you go up the stairs, 2 DG Soldiers attack you. Grab '1,000 Gil' from the second floor and follow the path from the third floor all the way to find 'Elixir' from inside the crate at the end. Don't fall or you'll have to run all the way over here. Return to the fork prior to entering the building and go S this time. A scene triggers as you approach. Now kill this lone DG Soldier and 2 more will appear. Take care of them and move to the top to have 2 more appear. Go down the stairs right afterwards and another DG Soldier appears underneath the stairs. Kill him, use the Make Point (I hope you're not forgetting to use your Magic) and continue on until 2 more DG Soldiers appear. When you drop down into an alley, follow the path carefully because there are DG Soldiers in every corner. When you get to the large area of construction, take out the DG Soldiers and go SE on the top bridges. You'll be targeted from a DG Sniper that's all the way to the SE side, on the other side of the fence behind the Mako Point. If you search behind him, you'll find MEMORY CAPSULE # 6" [17] (coordinates J14). Now look NE into the passage to find some DG Soldiers. Kill this one with the Hydra and when the other come out, use the barrel next to the door to kill them. There's another barrel inside which you can use to kill the rest. Also, look up on the NW side of the area to finally find DG Sniper #15. There's a shop here. If you can afford it, upgrade your Griffon II to P Griffon. Now, before entering, open the door, crouch and enter like half a step. Equip your Hydra, snipe to the ceiling where the crystal glass is and you'll find MEMORY CAPSULE #7" [18] (coordinates K13). Once you've taken care of these dudes, the Heavy one is easy. Let me list his attacks first: o Grenade Launcher. He shoots some grenade-looking explosive dealing around 140 dmg. o Machine Gun. It deals around 25 dmg. per hit. o Upward Slash. When you've dealt around 3/4 of dmg., he'll put away his fireweapons and take out his sword. The single slash deals around 400 dmg., so be careful. These are his attacks. When he's using his firearms, it's the best time to deal severe dmg. Just attack him and if he's approaching, run backwards while you keep shooting. You'll deal around 270 dmg. per shot, so his HP will go down fairly quickly. Like I said, without his backup, he's nothing. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== Watch the scene and this chapter reaches its end. _________________ o Targets Destroyed ----- 80 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Accuracy Rate --------- 80% ------------ /_________________/ // S o Damage Sustained ------ 4052 ------------ __/_____/ // D o Critical Hits --------- 16 ------------ ________/________/ // C o Killchains ------------ 33 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Items Used ------------ 9 ------------ __/______________/ // A o Magic Casted ---------- 10 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Mako Collected -------- 100% ------------ /_________________/ // S o Times KO'd ------------ 0 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Time Expired ---------- 0:43:43 ------------ /________/ // C _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯\\\ Chapter Rank \\\¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯ _______________________________________S_______________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Oh man, 4052 dmg.? Once you regain control, you quickly start a mission - Assist the 20 WRO Members. The 20 WRO Members are scattered through the whole chapter. Anyway, kill the 5 DG Soldiers that are here and look upwards to the SW (from where you start) to find a Heavy Armored Soldier. This one is not like the boss, just take him out with 2 shots from your Hydra to the head. Now this first floor is secure. There are 3 WRO members here, so make sure they're alive (they're on the W side of the floor) and now go to the N side of the room (where there's a hole for an elevator), look S and all the way up to the ceiling to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #1" [19] (coordinates H13), which is on the left side of the arc glass... You'll see shots passing through the room, you'll hear gunshots and screams. Ignore these. The WRO members are not dying or anything. It's just there to put up a good mood. You'll also find 'Handgun Bullets x60' and 'Rifle Bullets x30' inside 2 crates. Also grab the Mako Point in the S side of the floor. Now go up the stairs to the second floor on the W side. A DG Soldier appears in front of you as you go up, so take care of him. Up here, go S and as you move E, a Heavy Armored Soldier and a DG Soldier appear on the bridge to the N in middle of the area, on the third floor. Kill them with the Hydra and continue to the E to have 3 more DG Soldiers appear. Shoot Fira (Fire lv.2) to take them out. As you try to go up the stairs to the third floor, a blue laser gate pop up. Dammit. Continue N and kill the DG Soldier that appears to have him drop the 'Cardkey'. Now that the second floor is safe, go N a little bit more to find a crate with 'Red Potion'. Return to the stairs on the W side and go N to find 'Machine Gun Bullets x30' and 'Rifle Bullets x30'. Now return, use the cardkey and go up to the third floor. As you get up here, turn left, start crossing the bridge and kill the 3 DG Soldiers on the W side of it. Now return and and you'll see a door on the E wall. Go inside and then N to find 'Limit Breaker'. Use the Shop if you need to and go to the S part to find 'Rifle Bullets x30'. Now exit onto the main area and go W. As you approach the blue laser gate, some DG Soldiers appear on the other side. Use Fira to take care of most if not all of them. Now enter the hallway to the S. Follow the path, kill the DG Soldier that appears in here, use the Mako Point adn reenter the main area. If the DG Soldiers you just killed left any items, grab them, go all the way N to find 'Potion' inside a crate and a Mako Point. Now return to where the hallway is and go up the stairs to the fourth floor. As you go up, 2 WRO members are running S towards you with 2 DG Soldiers behind. Quickly dispose of them with either Fire or with Cerberus. From here, look to the E side of the floor to see barrel. Shoot it down right here or you'll be sorry. Follow the path to the E side but keep looking to where the barrel was. All of a sudden, some DG Soldiers appear shooting 3 WRO Members. Quickly shoot Fira to take care of the DG Soldiers. If you wouldn't have destroyed the barrel, the WRO members would've died as well. Go N from these 3 WRO members and 2 DG Soldiers have a WRO member cornered. Use Fire to take care of both of them and grab 'Cardkey'. Now return to where the 3 WRO Members are and go up the stairs to trigger a little scene with Shalua (nice thong ;). Once it's over, go up and go N to have some DG Soldiers go inside the elevator and go down. Kill the lone DG Soldier that remains, return to the N side of the previous floor. Several enemies come out the elevator, so Fira their asses, grab 'Gravity Floater' that someone left behind. Equip it on all weapons and use the elevator to return to the fifth floor. Up here, go out the W side and quickly look S to find a barrel. When a DG Soldier appears, shoot the barrel to kill the enemy. Now continue to the W and enter the door. A little scene triggers in here. Now we need to move... fast. There's a Mako Point here, use it, grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x30' and start following the path, killing any enemy that approaches you. This WRO girl from the scene must be protected to. When you get to a stair, shoot the barrel that falls down so you don't lose time. Fira the Heavy Armored Soldiers when you see them and you'll trigger a scene at the end. Once it's over, return to the main area to trigger a scene with Azul. Once it's over, go to the E side of the floor. Enter the door on the E wall and go NE to find 'Limit Breaker'. Now follow the path, kill the 3 DG Soldiers that appear and exit to the main area in front of the turret. Grab 'Ether' and climb on the turret and you'll have enemies popping out from left and right on both the fourth and the fifth floors. DO NOT keep the turret shooting. Just like in Chapter 2 against the Guard Hounds, this counts in your accuracy rate at the end. You'll have to take care of 4 DG Soldiers and 2 Heavy Armored Soldiers - one group on each floor, having a total of 12 enemies. Take out the Heavy Armored Soldiers first as they'll inflict greater dmg. Remember to heal if necessary. Return to the hallway all the way back to the main area, go down to the first floor using the elevator. Go inside the door you came out in the beginning of the chapter. Follow the path until you find 2 WRO members being attacked by 2 DG Soldiers. Kill of them before they take out the WRO members. Grab 'Handgun Bullets x60' and 'Limit Breaker' from the alcove and descend the stairs. Follow the path and you'll find several DG Soldiers passing to the E. Quickly get behind them and use Fira to take care of all of them. These enemies drop 'Power Cross' and 'Cardkey'. In this room, take a look to the NW corner, on the top to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #2" [20] (coordinates I4). Now go N from here to get the Mako Point. Continue on to the S and in this long hallway, you'll find a new enemy, a little Robot. Use Magic on these or the barrels to take them out quickly. Keep running S and when you go W, some more enemies appear chasing 2 WRO members. Fire their asses (finally all 20 WRO members are safe) and before continuing, look up to the ceiling to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [21] (coordinates J13). Continue and when you're on the S hallway, open your map and locate the circular room above you. Go in here to find a Mako Point. Now go all the way to the W in the hallway and before entering the door, look up the ceiling to the NE to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #4" [22] (coordinates F13). Now heal up and go inside the door. It's hard because Shelke is fast, strong and the area you're fighting in is really small. I hope your aim is good, because her movement is sick. You'll have a hard time attacking her. Let me list her attacks: o Slash attack. She dashes towards you several times to attack you once for around 70 dmg. Not too bad. o Double attack. She dashes the same way as the previous attack, only that she slices you twice for around 80 dmg. a piece. o Thrust attack. She envelops in some blueish aura and lunge at you to deal around 350 dmg. o Combo attack. Shelke jumps all over the place to end up attacking you with her swords several times. This one deals whopping 800+ dmg. to Vincent. This attack only occurs once you've depleted around 1/2 of her HP. As you can see, her attacks are devastating. Way stronger than any enemy/boss so far. Keep moving around... always. Never stay put and always know where she is 'cus some times she just disappears. Use all your Magic you have. Fira/Thundara are work well here, but with Cerberus is more than enough. Don't even thing of using Griffon, as its accuracy is horrible. Azul may look intimidating, but actually he's waay easier than Shelke. Let me list his attacks first: o Heavy attack. You'll know it's this attack because he stops, crouches a little bit, then shoots. It has a small radius, but better jump or you'll receive around 500+ dmg. o Machine Gun. Yes, his weapon works as two. He'll shoot several bullets dealing around 80 dmg. per shot. o Shockwave. When you see he raises his weapon, jump 'cus he'll create a Shockwave, dealing over 300 dmg. o Kick. If you get too close to him, he'll kick you for around 100 dmg. As you start the battle, you'll notice several barrels around Azul. Shoot them one at a time to deal over 600 dmg. to Azul. Keep moving around until you shoot all the barrels around Azul. Go to the back and start evading his attacks until he comes near another barrel for you to shoot. Don't even bother attacking him, since you'll be doing very little dmg. On the right side of the area, near the ceiling, there are several barrels. Shoot one to have it drop down. Use these if you run out of barrels on the ground. This is it. Pretty easy huh? Also, it's pretty easy to evade his attack so altogether, you'll be fine. Just to let you know, this is one of my least favorite chapters. From where you start, before even moving, turn around to the N and you'll see "MEMORY CAPSULE #1" [23] (coordinates K4) inside the sewer. Now go S and a little scene with Sahagin triggers. This is the first mission of the chapter. Kill all 3 Sahagin [3/33], keep following the path and in the narrow passage, there's a little sloppy path leading N and another one going S. These contain 'Handgun Bullets x72' and 'Potion'. As you go W, there's another sloppy path to the S, with 'Phoenix Down' in it. Watch out because a Sahagin [4/33] drops down. Follow the path and when you see the blue laser gate, another Sahagin appears [5/33]. Now go W from the blue gate and go up the stairs. Up here, go to the E side to find a Mako Point. Now go near the stairs you just used and look S between the pipes to see a Sahagin [6/33]. Use the Hydra to shoot it in the head. Now drop down and 2 pairs of Sahagin will attack you [10/33]. Grab the 'Cardkey' to one of them drops, open the blue laser gate and follow the path. Soon enough, another Sahagin attacks you [11/33]. Once you get to the second part of the sewers (you can tell because of the change of map), quickly locate the barrel in between 2 Sahagins and shoot it to kill them [13/33]. Continue on and when you get to a fork, go N and break the crate to find another Sahagin [14/33]. Now go S a little bit and when the water raises, search for the Sahagin patrolling this area [15/33] and snipe him down. There's another one on the SW corner spitting down [16/33]. Snipe him down as well and approach the tunnel on the S side near the Mako Point to have 2 more Sahagins appear [18/33]. Once you've taken care of them, look N of the Mako Point to find another passageway with some crates. Go here and look upwards to find a Sahagin nearby [19/33]. Open the crates to find '900 Gil' and 'Machine Gun Bullets x70'. Return to the Mako Point, stand right on top of it, crouch and look upwards and N. You should see "MEMORY CAPSULE #2" [24] (coordinates G10). Now let's grab the remaining items in the area. There's 'Rifle Bullets x56' on a ledge on top of the path you used to get here. Near the Mako Point, up the ladder, there's '1,000 Gil' and inside the tunnel there's 'Limit Breaker'. That's it for this area, so follow the path to the E and when the path forks, near the end of this second area of the sewers, go W to find 'Blizzard Materia'. Now go E to the third area of the sewers. As you enter, quickly look S to find a Sahagin [20/33] behind some bars spitting at you. Kill him, go N and enter the small alcove here on the right to find 'Potion'. Go N some more and enter another alcove on the W side to find 'Rifle Bullets x40'. As you do, a Sahagin attacks you [21/33]. Take care of him and go N to take care of one more [22/33]. This one drops a 'Cardkey'. Use it to open the blue laser gate next to you and grab 'Handgun Bullets x72'. As you do, 4 more Sahagins appear to play with you [26/33]. Use Firaga on them (assuming you have both accessories equipped) and you'll be able to kill them all with one shot. Grab 'Cardkey' dropped by a Sahagin and lower the W blue laser gate to find '2,500 Gil'. Before leaving, move to the center of the N wall (there's half a circle on the wall on the ground) and look up to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [25] (coordinates C8). Return to where the first blue laser gate was and go E. Climb up the ladder, use the Mako Point and proceed. As you start entering the next area, a Sahagin rushes towards you [27/33]. Backtrack and kill it. Now follow the path and take out the next Sahagin [28/33], which is at the end. Quickly turn around and kill the one behind you [29/33]... Man, this one scared me so bad when I first played the game XD. Now push the button near you, jump down and kill 3 more Sahagins [32/33]. You may snipe them down from above if you can. Down here, break the crates to find 'Potion' and '500 Gil'. Now push the button in the center of the tower and when the gate goes up, go N and W when possible. A lone Sahagin appears here [33/33]. Kill him and go NE, up the ladder to get to the next section of the sewers. You'll notice the Soldier right in front of you and 2 more Soldiers will start shooting you from the upper floor. Take them out and now go slowly to the N side. You'll see 2 Soldiers guarding the elevator. Kill them and go E to find a half closed shutter. Crawl and start going it, only a little bit hugging the N wall and look SE to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #4" [26] (coordinates J4). The next thing you need to do it quickly. Go in and grab '100 Gil', '400 Gil' and 'Power Booster'. Once you've gotten these, quickly get out because 5 Soldiers appear. Don't even bother killing them because they'll just keep coming out. Anyway, enter the elevator that was guarded and once on the upper floor, go to the N side to find a Mako Point. Now follow the S path down the stairs, kill the Soldier that comes out, use the shop if you need to restock on items, return to the elevator and get off the third floor. Once up here, go S, grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x45' and 'Handgun Bullets x90', use the Mako Point and as you try to proceed, the door shuts. Try leaving from whence we came from and the door'll shut too. Now the walls on the sides will open and some DG Soldiers come out to play. Wait for them to stop for you to shoot them, otherwise you'll miss and your accuracy will go down. Use Firaga when several DG Soldiers appear (there are like 13 enemies total), continue to trigger a scene. Now we get to play as Cait Sith. =============================================================================== When we gain control, go SE, jump over the pipes and at the third one, a little scene triggers to show you your mission. Once the DG Soldier walks by, jump over the pipe and hide behind the crate. When the DG Soldier passes by, you pass on the other side. Once done this, go to the NE corner and you'll see a ladder going down. What you need to do here is to jump forward from here in order for you to land on a pipe, then jump forward and behind the crate (on the N side). Wait here until you see 2 DG Soldiers patrolling both paths. Follow the one going NW and when he stops, hide behind the crate next to him. A little scene triggers showing you where to go. Now go down the ladder halfway and move the camera so you can see all the DG Soldiers. You'll have 2 of them, one each path, as well as a robot. When the DG Soldier on the right is facing away from you, jump down and head over to the other one (where the white barrel is). When he's not facing you, push the barrel to kill him. Go NW a little bit and hide behind the barrel. When you see a DG Soldier appear, wait for him to turn around, as well as the other DG Soldier we ignored) and push the barrel to kill him. Now move to the NW corner, jump on the crates and get behind the robot to get to the next area. When you appear, go SW, jump over the barrel and look NE to see a DG Soldier. Use the barrel to take care of him, continue and hide behind the next barrel. You'll now have 2 DG Soldiers patrolling. Wait for one to pass by, run behind him and walk slowly behind him. Now go down the stairs and go NW to finish the sneaking mission. =============================================================================== When you regain control of Vincent, go S and enter the room. Go S again and a scene triggers. Once it's over, mission time. Go into the E room, kill the Soldier that surprises you and 2 more will come out. Kill them too and grab 'Handgun Bullets x60' and 'Rifle Bullets x60' from inside the little room. Now look under the fallen bookshelf on the N side of the room to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #5" [27] (coordinates K7). Return to the previous room and go S. A Beast Soldier and a DG Soldier appear, so take them out quickly and enter the E room to find 'Potion'. Now go W, kill the DG Soldier in here and in the hallway, enter the door right in front of you. There's a lone soldier in the E room, so take him out and grab the Mako Point in the W room. Return to the hallway, go W and as it goes N, shoot the DG Soldier on top of some crates, as well as a Beast Soldier. Check right new to the DG Soldier (on your left side) to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #6" [28] (coordinates C8). Now enter the lower left room to find 'Handgun Bullets x60' and 'Limit Breaker'. Enter the room to the N and kill the DG Soldier and the Beast Soldier that appear. Now check the N side to find 'Omega Report' [2/4]. Exit this room through the N door and go N a bit more to find another DG Soldier. Kill him and return all the way to the S side, which you should take the E path this time. Kill the 5 DG Soldier behind the door (use Firaga all you want) and enter the door to reach the second part of the basement. Grab 'Phoenix Down' from inside the crate, go S and enter the door to the E. Approach the coffin and a SOLDIER Trooper appears. Return, keep going S and 2 SOLDIER Troopers appear, as well as a DG Soldier. Take them out, grab 'Handgun Bullets x60' from the S most tip and go E through the hole in the wall. As you go down, a DG Soldier appears. Easy. Continue on, pass by the blue laser gate indentations on the floor and a new mission starts - deactivate the mines. When you approach them, a beeping sound starts. This is to let you know where they are. Once you find them, they show up, looking like an orange circle. Backtrack a little and shoot them. Here's the location of all the 4 mines. 1. K11 2. I10 3. K9 4. I7 Go after K11 first. Then move NW a little to find I10. From here go to the E side of the area and deactivate K9. Lastly the I7 mine is on the N most side, in front of the blue laser gate. Once you deactivate them, the 'Cardkey' pops up. Go N and when you get to a gap, look down to find a Beast Soldier. Take him out, go down, use the Mako Point, return up and then press the orange button. This starts the little platform to move. As it moves, a DG Soldier appears. Shoot the barrel to kill him if you want this way and continue on to the next area of the basement. Follow the path and when it starts going W, 2 DG Soldier start shooting at you, and a Beast Soldier approaches from the wall. Kill them and proceed. Soon enough, you'll come to an open area with 3 DG Soldiers and some barrels. Shoot the barrels to kill all 3 of them. Now enter the W door and you'll find a Shop, a Mako Point in the next room and 'Handgun Bullets x60', 'Machine Gun Bullets x70' and 'Limit Breaker' in the next room. Return to the large area now. Start going N and then a DG Soldier pops up. Kill him and as you arrive to the N most side of the area, 2 SOLDIER Troopers and a DG Soldier appear. Firaga them, go inside a little to find 2 more DG Soldiers shooting at you from above. Firaga them too and start going up the stairwell and at the top, a DG Soldier and a Beast Soldier come out to play. Exit the stairwell and 2 more DG Soldiers appear. Take care of them, exit the room and grab 'Rifle Bullets x60' in this room. Now go N into the hallway (remember this place from the original FFVII? Those were good times =D) and N from here. Go inside the room, break the crate to find 'Hi-Potion'. Do you see both windows on the N side of the room? Jump on top of the table in front of the right window and look down outside to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #7" [29] (coordinates L4). Now return to the hallway and go W a little. Look at the main open area to find some DG Soldiers. If you want, snipe 1 in the head and use Firaga on the rest as they go up the stairs. Now go to the W wing of the house and you'll find 3 doors in this corridor. Use the S one first to find a crate with '1,500 Gil'. Return and enter the N room to find a Mako Point. Now go W and a DG Soldier pops out behind the crates. Kill him and grab 'Omega Report' [3/4]. Now return to the hallway leading to the first floor and look to the SW corner of the glass window on the roof to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #8" [30] (coordinates G10). Now jump down to the first floor and as you do, some DG Soldiers and a Beast Soldier appear on the second floor. Shoot them and then follow the hallway to the E. Enter the room at the end to find 'Omega Report' [4/4]. Return to the open area and enter the SW room to find '800 Gil'. Now go W and inside the large W room. 3 DG Soldiers come out and after you kill them, 2 SOLDIER Troopers pop out. Once you taken care, follow the E hallway and enter the room at the end to find 2 SOLDIER Troopers and a Beast Soldier. Grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x70' from the S side of the room and enter the next room, to have a SOLDIER Trooper pop out of here. There are 2 DG Soldiers behind the crates on the W side, so shoot a Firaga ball before they even notice you. In this next room, grab 'Potion' from the SW corner, go N and enter the small corridor on the W. A scene triggers in this room with the hotness. Now, in the hallway, shoot Fire to the balls in the way to get rid of them, then proceed. Just shoot them and avoid their really slow missiles. When you've killed the 3, the last one should drop 'Cardkey'. Before proceeding, check the W side of the area, S of the Shadowfox to see "MEMORY CAPSULE #1" [31] (coordinates C13) just on the other side of the fallen logs in the stream. Now go E, use the Mako Point and the Cardkey. Right after the Shop, some Guard Hounds appear. Continue to the E and when you see some ostrich-like animals, stay there in that little area and some more Guard Hounds appear. Kill them and before proceeding, look NW and up to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [32] (coordinates K13). Continue on to the N, kill more Guard Hounds as you proceed, use the Mako Point and enter the cave. You'll find a new enemy here, a bug. When it chases you, backtrack a little bit and wait for it to turn around. This is the time to shoot it, in its soft side. Continue on and soon enough you'll fight 2 DG Soldiers and 2 bugs. Use Firaga on them to take care of all of them and grab 'Rifle Bullets x15' and 'Potion'. From here, look E and you'll see several DG Soldiers, a couple of Sweepers and there are some bugs as well. I recommend you shooting at the Sweeper on the left with Firaga and quickly shoot the other one with Firaga. If done correctly, you'll kill most of the DG Soldiers and both Sweepers. Now go down there, kill the remaining DG Soldiers and kill all the bugs (you may want to Firaga all of them together). Once all clear, locate the ladder on the N side, stand in front of it, look directly S and look up to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [33] (coordinates L6) on top of the hill. Now enter the little cave on the W side and break the crates to find 'Limit Breaker'. Now enter the NE tent and break both crates to find '1,000 Gil' and 'Potion'. Now enter the S tent to find 'Handgun Bullets x60' and '100 Gil'. Now proceed SW and soon enough, the first mission of the chapter starts - Save the 12 WRO Members. Quickly take out your Hydra and look W to find a DG Soldier on a turret. Destroy the barrels near him to take care of him. Now use the barrels to take care of the DG Soldiers nearby, then take out your Cerberus and start popping heads. Once you're done with the WRO members, a more dangerous thing appears... 15 Choppers. Shoot all the barrels that are left and jump on the turret. You'll have to take on the 15 Choppers while keeping alive the WRO members. The first 10 Choppers come by themselves. The eleventh wave of attack has 3 Choppers and the last one 2. Let me list you where they're coming from: 1. W 2. W 3. W 4. NW 5. SE 6. S 7. E 8. W 9. NE 10. W 11-12-13. W 14-15. W The last one is the hard one, since it take almost 6 times the time needed to take out. Once you deal with all 15 Choppers, release the turret, take out your Cerberus because when this last chopper falls, 3 Heavy Armored Soldiers appear, but these have a huge sword instead of the rocket launchers. Kill them to get 'Cardkey'. Use a Firaga on them and if they're still alive, just shoot them to get rid of 'em. Now break the crate on the W side of the building (outside) to find 'Rifle Bullets x15'. Now that there's peace, move to the barrels that are/were next to the Rifle Bullets x15 you just got (NE of the turret) and between 2 of them you'll see a bush. Use the Hydra and snipe to the base of the bridge (through the bush), on the water to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #4" [34] (coordinates E3). Now, just inside the building floor, break the crate on the E side to find a Mako Point. Now go NW, grab 'Potion' and use the Cardkey you got from the Heavy Armored Soldiers. Now go in the Causeway. Follow the path, use the Mako Point, use the Shop if you need to and keep following the path until you exit to the bridge. There's a DG Soldier in front of you. Kill him and a Guard Hound appears on top of the crates, as well as 2 DG Snipers at the N, on the top of the bridges. There's another DG Sniper on the W side, so take care of him as well. Grab 'Handgun Bullets x60' on the W side and as you try to go N, several DG Soldiers and some Guard Hounds appear. Use all the barrels that are around the area to take care of them, which is a pushover. Once you've taken care of them and before proceeding, take out your Hydra and aim to the top of the tower on the W to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #5" [35] (coordinates F10). When you get to the N side, 2 Guard Hounds and a DG Soldier greet you. Kill them and another 2 DG Soldiers appears on the E side of the area, as well as another 2 DG Snipers to the N. Take care of them and go all the way to the N to find 3 WRO members being attacked by 2 DG Soldiers. Take care of them, grab '1,000 Gil' from the center of the area and 'Machine Gun Bullets x120' on the NE corner. Now, from this item, take out your Hydra, aim S and up the tower on the E (your left side) to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #6" [36] (coordinates I10). Now enter the door on the W side, and you'll find 3 DG Soldiers. Take them out with melee attacks so you don't shoot the barrel and kill the WRO member. Now proceed to the N most area. You'll find some DG Soldier scattered around the area, as well as 2 Guard Hounds. Take them out to receive 'Cardkey'. Check the W side to find a Mako Point and move to the E side looking S. Take out your Hydra and snipe to the cliffs on the S part of the river to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #7" [37](coordinates I14). Now use the Cardkey on the blue laser gate and go in to trigger a scene. Once it's over, you'll have to fight several DG Soldiers that are on the ground with some DG Snipers on the arcs. Use the large blocks on the sides to gain some cover and when you've killes them all, grab the items around here that are (DO NOT GO UP THE STAIRS YET): 'Handgun Bullets x60', 'Potion', 'Rifle Bullets x15', '1,000 Gil', 'Potion' and 'Machine Gun Bullets x120'. Now look on the W side and in the fifth waterfall, look on top of it to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #8" [38] (coordinates D8). Now go to the NE corner, look on top of the WRO building to the N on the right side to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #9" [39] (coordinates J2). Once you're all done, heal up and go up the stairs. As you come up, your first step, move W along the edge and go S to find '3,000 Gil' and 'Limit Breaker' across the beams. Now go N near the gate to trigger a scene and a... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: BLACK WIDOW II ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: Yay, the Black Widow again. Thankfully, this one is easier... like if the previous one was hard XD. Like always, let me list her attacks: o Beam. Deals around 500 dmg. o Missiles. Deals around 100 dmg. o Machine gun. Deals around 50 dmg. per bullet. o Tackle. It tackles you for around 80 dmg. Punny attack. This one comes with 4 DG Soldiers, so take them out first using your trusty Cerberus. One of them drops 'L Adjuster', so make sure to grab it. Now, basically the same strategy from the previous Black Widow remain, shoot it with Thundaga around 4-5 times and it's toast. Don't even worry about using the turrets on the back, as you'll be an easy target for all of its attacks. Also, before the fight ends, break the crate on the NW corner to find the last Mako Point. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== Before moving, use the Mako Point behind you. Follow the path, grab 'Potion' and kill the DG Soldier. Now grab 'Handgun Bullets x60' and 'Rifle Bullets x15' from behind him and go N and enter the room. You'll find 4 WRO members fighting for their lives against several DG enemies. Take them all out using magic. Use the Mako Point on the W side of the area and move to the entrance and locate the huge screen that's destroyed in middle of the area, like on the third floor. On the left side of this bridge is "MEMORY CAPSULE #10" [40] (coordinates G7). Now go to the N side to find 'Limit Breaker'. Now enter the door to the basement, follow the path while killing the enemies and before going down the stairs, grab '1,000 Gil'. Follow the path and go N to where a pillar is on the ground, with some fire. IF you saved all 12 WRO members throughout the chapter, you'll receive a secret weapon, 'Guard N Barrel'. Now go E a little bit to trigger a scene ='(. _________________ o Targets Destroyed ----- 121 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Accuracy Rate --------- 73% ------------ /_________________/ // S o Damage Sustained ------ 3832 ------------ /______________/ // A o Critical Hits --------- 108 ------------ __/______________/ // A o Killchains ------------ 88 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Items Used ------------ 5 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Magic Casted ---------- 12 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Mako Collected -------- 100% ------------ /_________________/ // S o Times KO'd ------------ 0 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Time Expired ---------- 0:18:03 ------------ /_________________/ // S _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯\\\ Chapter Rank \\\¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯ _______________________________________S_______________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Now get the Gil and lets level up those babies. As you move W, 2 WRO members get killed by several DG Soldiers. Kill all of them using the barrel nearby. Now go all the way W to find '2,000 Gil' behind some "train stoppers?". Now follow the path NE to find 4 WRO members that need to be escorted. This is the first mission - Escort the WRO members. Now, go W a little bit and 3 DG Soldiers appear. Shoot Firaga between them to kill all them and go all the way W to find the fifth WRO member. Now there are 5 to escort. Before moving, look W from this lone soldier in between the metalic crates on the floor to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #1" [41](coordinates D9). Now, go S from the door where the DG Soldiers camo out from to find 'Hi- Potion'. Now go inside the building where the DG Soldiers came out from but be careful because there will be several DG Soldiers waiting for you at the end. Grab the 'Cardkey' an enemy dropped, open the blue laser gate and prepare to kill 3 DG Soldiers, as well as a DG Sniper behind you on a tower. Grab 'Mega-Potion' from the SW corner and proceed N. After the scene, we need to protect the WRO members from the hardest part, in my opinion that is. You'll have 6 DG Soldiers on the W side and 3 more appear S of you, from whence you came. Shoot the ones on the W and when you see the S ones appear, Firaga their asses. There are 2 more DG Soldiers all the way on the W side, so use your Hydra to take care of them. Once you're done, use the Mako Point and proceed until you see a blue laser gate. Try opening it and since you don't have the Cardkey, try to return to have Heavy Armored Soldier S appear. Kill him, grab the 'Cardkey' and proceed. Run as fast as you can trying to leave the WRO members behind and kill the 4 DG Soldiers that appear. Once you do, approach the blue laser gate and 9 red cockroach machines come out. Use Thundaga to take care of all of them, or shoot them with Griffon/Cerberus. Now grab the 'Cardkey' and before proceeding, look W from the blue laser gate to see "MEMORY CAPSULE #2" [42] (coordinates C6). Now go through to finally leave these WRO members. Now, buy anything from the shop inside and proceed E. When you see a large cloud of black smoke, look S and up to see a DG Sniper on top of a "house". Shoot him and to HIS right (your left), you'll see "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [43] (coordinates H7). Now go all the way E and jump over the crates to find a Mako Point. Now follow the path and when you're directly under the "house" where the previous DG Sniper was, look SE to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #4" [44] (coordinates I8) under the train car. Now go to the W side of this area to find '2,000 Gil'. If you want '2,000 Gil' more, you can find the on the W side of the "house", in the little narrow path. Now enter the train car where the Memory Capsule was. As you proceed, 2 DG Snipers will start shooting at you. They're on top of the building to the W of you. Now go inside the house and the next mission starts - save the surviving WRO members. DO NOT STOP to read the mission, go to where the 2 WRO members are and look N to find 2 DG Soldiers and a Heavy Armored Soldier. Firaga them so the WRO members survive and quickly look S and up to find more DG Soldiers fire at you... only that in turrets. Shoot Firaga towards them to kiss them goodbye. Now stand on the W side of the barrels where the WRO members were and look S and in between the wrecked train cars to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #5" [45] (coordinates D11). Before proceeding, make sure that all 4 DG Soldiers on the turrets are gone. Now go NE from here to have 3 more DG Soldiers come out. Kill them and proceed. Grab the Mako Point and look N on top of the building to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #6" [46] (coordinates G5). Now make sure all 9 members survived. Now go W from the surviving members to find '2,000 Gil'. Now hug the S wall and look towards the water tower where the turrets are to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #7" [47] (coordinates D13). Now go inside the building. A DG Soldier appears on top of the train car, and 2 behind him on the floor. Kill them all and locate the 'Omega Report' from behind the "train stopper" in front of the entrance. Now move to the SE corner to find '2,000 Gil'. Now go to the N exit and before exiting, look S and up to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #8" [48] (coordinates J10). Now exit to the N and out here, grab '2,000 Gil' and 'Limit Breaker'. Now enter the next building, grab '2,000 Gil' from the right as you enter, now hug the W wall and go S to find '2,000 Gil' near 2 fire pits. Now enter the train car to the SE to trigger a little scene with the WRO member. Once it's over and like Shelke said, there's a heavy line of defense coming up. Buy anything you need from the shop nearby... I got the S Hydra upgrade, which is lighter and faster, which is good. I also got the Short Barrel Beta. Of course, you can get whatever you want. I could add this as a Boss, but I won't, just because it doesn't look like it. Ok, here's how it goes. As you get out, equip the Hydra and aim S with the Snipe Scope to see some DG Soldiers run around, as well as 2 Sweepers. Try ignoring the Sweepers and kill the DG Soldiers, but this is without going further in the battlefield. Once you've taken care of the DG Soldiers, you'll see the Deepgound Commander just standing there. Aim for the head and shoot over and over. He won't even move, so this is the best way of doing it. Once you kill him, kill the Sweepers, collect from the area the Mako Point, the 'Cardkey' and '2,000 Gil' from the S side. Now, from the W side, look E at the wrecked train cars (the ones on the NE corner of the map). You'll be able to see "MEMORY CAPSULE #9" [49] (coordinates K7) from under them. Now use the Cardkey, go down the stairs, take out your Hydra and snipe the DG Soldiers at the far E. Grab 'Mega-Potion' from the W side and follow the path. In the corridor, you'll find a Heavy Armored Soldier S, kill him and you'll find another one up ahead. Use the Mako Point from the E point and go W to have several DG Soldiers appear, as well as 2 Heavy Armored Soldiers (the ones with the rocket launcher). Use Firaga on them, grab 'Hi-Potion' from behind and continue on until you exit this place. Once outside, follow the path N hugging the E wall to find the last Mako Point. Use it, go to the W side to find '2,000 Gil'. Now follow the middle path N to trigger another scene and what's supposed to be a boss fight, which I won't put as such. These suckers are annoying because they shoot and move a lot. You saw that some train cars are open, so use these to cover from the bullet rain. They take around 20 HP per bullet, which isn't that bad. The best weapon, believe it or not, is the Hypra... well, it's the weapon it worked for me the best. There are 6 Shrikes. If you deal around 140 dmg., each will go down with 3 shot, and since the Hydra has long range, you can shoot them from very far away. If you got the S Hydra upgrade like I did, this will make the fight even easier since the SPD of Hydra will be almost doubled, making this fight quicker. Simple huh? You'll receive dmg., which is normal, since it's impossible to evade the bullet rain. Anyway, watch the scene and the chapter ends. ______________ o Targets Destroyed ----- 73 ------------ /______________/ // A o Accuracy Rate --------- 77% ------------ __/______________/ // A o Damage Sustained ------ 3143 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Critical Hits --------- 36 ------------ /______________/ // A o Killchains ------------ 43 ------------ __/______________/ // A o Items Used ------------ 2 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Magic Casted ---------- 8 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Mako Collected -------- 100% ------------ /_________________/ // S o Times KO'd ------------ 0 ------------ /_________________/ // S o Time Expired ---------- 0:52:41 ------------ /_____/ // D _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯\\\ Chapter Rank \\\¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯ _______________________________________S_______________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ DO whatever you want with the points. Now follow the path and enter the hallway where the 2 WRO members are shooting. Kill the 2 DG Soldiers behind the table and another one that's hiding. Now grab 'Cardkey' and 'Hi-Potion', return and use the Cardkey. You'll see several crates and barrels in here. That's because several DG Soldiers appear at the N. Use the barrels on them, Firaga if needed and break the crate on the W side to find '1,000 Gil'. Now climb on top of the large crate to find 'Limit Breaker'. Now use the Mako Point and proceed NE. Follow the path all the way while killing the DG Soldiers that appear until you reach a turret. Several other enemies will come out the door nearby, but I recommend using only a Firaga shot to end this. This way you kill them quicker and you don't have to worry about your accuracy. You can also find 'Handgun Bullets x24' in the SW corner of this little turret area. Grab 'Cardkey' the last DG Soldier drops, stand on the frame of the entrance, crouch, take out your Hydra and look N in between the wall and the fallen train car to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #2" [51] (coordinates N4). Now go inside the room, use the Cardkey, use the Mako Point and grab '1,000 Gil' from the crate. Now go up the ladder and the first mission pops up - Avoid the aerial mines. Equip your Hydra and as you start going, a DG Soldier appears at the end of the narrow pathway. Shoot him with the Hydra and make your way across the area. Be careful with the aerial mines. Grab 'Potion' at the end and proceed up the stairs. You'll have 2 WRO members fight against several DG Soldiers and 2 DG Commanders. Use the barrels nearby and Firaga to get rid of them. Proceed and mission 2 appears - Destroy the Robotic assault units. These are like the Black Widows. One of them runs down the stairs, so shoot Thundaga twice on it to destroy it, before it kills both WRO members. It dies when it reaches the end of the hallway, so make sure to kill it. Now go up the stairs and when you get to the shop, take out your Hydra, crouch and slowly approach the S hallway. At the far W, you'll have a DG Soldier on a turret, so shoot it in the head a couple of times until you kill him. Now go E and you'll find a room with several blue laser gates. To open these, you need to shoot those red little mines (like the ones the Black Widow dropped in Shinra Manor). There's one right there, in front of you, the second on is on top of the crates on the E side. With this, you can now enter and shoot 2 more red mines. Grab all the items that contain '1,000 Gil', 'Hi-Potion' and '1,000 Gil'. Now go to where the DG Soldier on the turret was and grab 'Rifle Bullets x10'. Now heal and sit down on the turret to have a ton of enemies come at you from whence you came. Take them out with the turret and go up the ladder. Use the Mako Point and a DG Soldier appears from the door. Kill her and go W to where the WRO members are to have the third mission appear - Assist the 3 WRO members. Crouch and snipe with your Hydra. You'll a WRO member on the W side hitting the wall and the mechanism there. Some DG Soldiers appear to take him out. You need to shoot these bastards so that the WRO member can hit it 40 times. This one is easy. Try leaving the aim still on where the heads of the DG Soldiers are and shoot them there. Then reload every time you kill a DG Soldier. Once you're done, follow them and they'll start shooting up some stairs. Quickly run in front of them and shoot the barrel and the crate that's falling down so they don't die. Now kill both DG Soldiers on top ASAP, go up these stairs and then up the ladder to find 'Limit Breaker', 'X-Potion', 'Machine Gun Bullets x50', 'Rifle Bullets x10', 'Handgun Bullets x24' and 'G Report'. Nice =D! Grab the Mako Point near the WRO members, return and enter the door now. You'll have 4 more DG Soldiers in here, kill them and grab 'Cardkey' from the last one. Before leaving, take a look at the SW balcony of the upper floor to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [52] (coordinates A9). Now use the Cardkey, push the button and go up the elevator. Once up here, another Black Widow appears, so 2 more Thundagas and he's gone. Now break the crates in front of the elevator to find '1,000 Gil' and '1,000 Gil'. Now go up the stairs and another mission starts - Defeat the Sentry Robots. Up the stairs, use the Mako Point and 4 red cockroaches-robots things come out. Take care of them with a Thundaga and break the crates to find 'Machine Gun Bullets x60', '1,000 Gil' and '1,000 Gil'. Now get on the elevator to the N, use the control panel and quickly turn S. As the elevator goes up, wait for the third white light to find "MEMORY CAPSULE # 4" [53] (coordinates L/M5). When it reaches the top, stay on the elevator, take out your Hydra and snipe down the Heavy Armored Soldiers B at the end of the hallway (good way of making those hard criticals). Once they're gone, step off the elevator and more cockroaches appear. Return to the elevator and shoot them from there. They can't enter and they can't hurt you there. Go left at the fork, use the Mako Point, use the Shop on the S side and BEFORE entering the room, approach the door on the W side, let it open, stand on the frame of the door and look SW over the large crate of steel to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #5" [54] (coordinates B14). Check the coordinates and now enter the door to trigger a scene and a... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: ROSSO THE CRIMSON ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: Ok, Rosso is not that tough, but she's quick though, so that's bad. Take out your Quantum Cerberus, start aiming at her and shoot her nonstop. Let me list her attacks and then I'll continue: o Revolver. Shoots from her weapon to deal around 60 dmg. per bullet. o Combo. She dashes towards you and attacks you several times for around 200 dmg. o Fire sickles. One the first part of the fight passes, after the little scene, she'll start throwing some sickles at you for around 300 dmg. o Ground wave. Once you've dealt around half her HP in dmg. she'll start creating some waves that advance towards you. This one deals around 150 dmg. o Super combo. Once she's about to die, she start another combo in which she approaches you very fast and attacks you several times to deal around 400 dmg During the first half of the fight, she'll run around while shooting at you. The dmg. is medium, so there's nothing to really worry about. She's sometimes dash towards you and attack you several times with her weapon, something like Shelke's attack. Also use the Mako Point on the W side of the area. There's also a shop, so buy anything you forgot to buy. Before proceeding, move to the NW corner and look inside the Shinra building to the NW corner to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #1" [55] (coordinates E4). Now proceed N to the next area. Once inside the lobby, 2 SOLDIER Troopers descend from the stairs on the right side. Kill them ASAP because they're quick. Now go up the stairs and another SOLDIER will come out. Take care of him, grab 'Rifle Bullets x12'. Now go to the W side of the area and try going up the stairs to have some DG units come from the entrance from whence you came. Take them all out with the Hydra. Now go up to the third floor, go E and grab '1,000 Gil'. From this exact point, look S and a little bit up with the Hydra to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #2" [56] (coordinates H12). Now drop down in the elevator hole. Down here, grab 'Handgun Bullets x36' and 'Potion' from the W side, then drop down the hole on the E side. Follow the path and some bugs will come out to play. They'll come one at a time, so it should be easy. When you fight the first bug, you'll have some machines on the N side behind a fence. Check the E side of them to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [57] (coordinates I7). Now follow the path, go E at the fork to find 'Rifle Bullets x12'. Continue on until a little scene triggers. Wow, we're now in a large area. Check behind you before anything to find 'Red Ether'. Now keep going and 2 DG Soldiers and a Beast Soldier will appear around the corner. Take them out, grab '1,000 Gil' from the briefcase. Now proceed N in the next room and 4 DG Soldiers appear on the upper floor. Snipe them down, using the crates in the entrance as cover. Now grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x90' from the W side and proceed E through the door. Go inside the next room to the S and 2 bugs play with you. In the room to the E, several bugs appear. Use Firaga twice on all of them then grab 'Mega-Potion' from inside. Now exit this room, use the Mako Point and go S a little to have 2 DG Soldiers appear. Use the barrel to take care of them. Now go inside the room where 2 DG SOldiers and a Beast Soldier are waiting for you. Kill them, grab '1,000 Gil', exit this room and at the fork, go right to find 'Red Potion' and 'Red Potion'. Proceed, use the shop if you need to and enter the room to the N. There's a lone DG Sniper in here and several barrels. Take care of him ASAP before he blows everything here to hell. If you still have all the barrels intact, jump on the one standing in front of the entrance and double jump to find '5,000 Gil'. There's one Black Widow on the ground while the other one is hanging from the ceiling. Allow me to list its attacks: o Beam. Deals around 100 dmg. o Machine gun. Deals around 20 dmg. per bullet. o Tackle. It tackles you for around 50 dmg. Punny attack. o Proximity mines. Does around 10 dmg. per mine. As you can see, it does half the dmg. the Black Widow II did, and this is because they split the attack of these 2. First of all, focus on the one on the ground. I recommend using the Griffon, although I don't like it, and shoot away while you evade its attacks. The Black Widow on the ground only uses its Beam and Machine Gun attacks while the one on the ceiling uses Proximity Mines, which you should be familiar with. With 2 Thundagas, they're gone. I recommend shooting with the Griffon nonstop and then shoot Thundaga one to kill it. If is doesn't die, keep shooting at it until it does. Once the first one goes down, shoot the second one and it'll fall to the ground. Same strategy. This is it. Simple, huh?! ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== Once you regain control, go inside the elevator. Once you're on the bottom, prepare for a surprise because there's no map. Ok, from where we start, exit the elevator and facing it, go SE and in this little room you'll find 'Top Secret Files'. Now return to the elevator (all directions will be given as facing the elevator) and go SW to find some cockroaches. Kill them and enter the room to find 'Limit Breaker', 'Rifle Bullets x12' and a Mako Point. Return to the elevator and go in the NW room to find '3,000 Gil'. Now move on to the NE room to have 2 Beast Soldiers and a DG Soldier appear. Kill them and grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x90'. Now you'll see a door with a light on top of it N of the elevator. Follow the path and when you're "outside", 2 Shrikes appear. Use your Hydra without the scope and shoot them down (with 3 shots they're good to go). Before that, look on the left side of the bridge all the way to the bridge on the other building to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #4" [58]. Now enter the next room and 4 DG Soldiers come out the door at the end. Kill them and proceed to the next room where you'll find 2 Beast Soldiers, a DG Soldier and 'Top Secret Files'. Continue on and 2 pair of DG Soldiers will attack you in this hallway. Take care of them like usual and proceed until you're "outside" again. A little scene triggers and finally we got a map of the area... just when we're about to end this XD. Now, go inside the next building and go to the SW side to find 'Handgun Bullets x108'. Now hop on the elevator and the second mission begins - Destroy the surveillance mines. Remember these suckers? Well, we have to destroy them now. Shoot as many as you can with Cerberus. I got a 34 score. Anyway, once at the bottom, proceed SW, use the shop if needed, and in the next room grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x90'. Now proceed S and you'll see several DG Soldiers waiting for you inside the room. Go inside the let the beast go wild. Once you've taken care of all of them, grab 'Top Secret Files' from the S side. Now go in the N room and 4 more DG Soldiers appear. Kill them and move W to the next room. As you enter, you'll see several enemies moving S. Enter the S room ASAP and shoot them as they get in. Use Firaga to kill them faster. Now return to the previous room and grab 'Top Secret Files' from the NW corner, return to the S room and grab 'Top Secret Files' from the center of the room. Now leave onto the hallway to the W and 2 DG Soldiers and 2 robots appear. Snipe down the DG Soldiers and use Thundaga once on the robots to destroy them. Now proceed to the end of the path, grab 'Handgun Bullets x108' from the NW corner and go down the elevator. The same thing happens here, several aerial mines are floating around the elevator, so stay in the center of the elevator and shoot them down. When you hear some DG Soldiers, quickly face the NW side of the elevator and look at the wall on the floor under the DG Soldiers to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #5" [59] (coordinates A43). At the end, I got 94 total. Nice. Now proceed NW and when you get in the large area, 3 Heavy Armored Soldiers S appear. Firaga them or just shoot them. Now go W, use the Mako Point in the hallway and go N. Just like in the previous room, you'll have to fight 2 Heavy Armored Soldiers B here. Destroy the barrels in here as well to raise your killstreak. Go E and in the first room that opens, some cockroaches appear. Take them down with either Cerberus, Griffon or Thundaga. Now, kill the 3 Beast Soldiers that appear in the next room and in the last area grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x270', 'X-Potion' and 'Handgun Bullets x108'. I got the Normal Barrel Gamma here, but this is up to you. When you see he raises his weapon, jump 'cus he'll create a Shockwave, dealing over 300 dmg. o Kick. If you get too close to him, he'll kick you for around 100 dmg. The difference between this boss and the previous one is that there are 2 barrels to shoot. Luckily, he's easy. Use the central pillar for cover, take out your Quantum Cerberus and start shooting at him. Shoot him over and over and over and over until this fight ends. Yes. That's how easy he is. Open your map and look at the 8 yellowish dots across the area. These are Mako Points... but here's the list first =P: o Body Slam. Man, many of these attacks are named after Pokemon ones XD. Anyway, he jumps and tries to Body Slam you for around 100 dmg. o Horn Attack. He tries to horn you for over 200 dmg., which makes it a really powerful attack... XD. o Multi Beams. He stays put and releases several blue beams from his mouth, dealing around 120 dmg. per hit. Ok, the Mako Points are covered. You need to have Azul destroy them by passing over them. Once he's done that, make sure you grab all of them. In case you didn't know, the Mako Points fill up after some time, always - all the Mako Points, so you won't end up without MP. Anyway, use Thundaga against him. It's the best magic. Use it over and over to deal over 1,000 dmg. every time. Now go E, grab 'Handgun Bullets x90' and use the shop if needed. Now follow a scene until a little scene triggers, with a new enemy, the Gargoyle. You have to kill 8 of them. While they're flying around all the area, you'll also find 3 DG Soldiers and a Heavy Armored Soldier S. Once you've taken care of all the enemies, the Heavy Armored Soldier mentioned above appears. Kill him to get 'Cardkey'. Now move near the beginning and use the Carkey. Drop down and grab 'X-Potion' and '1,200 Gil'. Drop down once again and go up the ladder when you get to it. Now go E and approach where there was a blue laser gate to have some DG Soldiers appear, as well as 2 Heavy Armored Soldier. Since you didn't drop down, you can just snipe all the enemies around here. As you drop down, look W to find 'Omega Report'. Now go E and before dropping down, move to the NE corner, look NE and up to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #2" [61] (coordinates M4). NOW drop down, grab 'Rifle Bullets x20' and go S to the next area. Use the Mako Point when you get to it and go through the door. Grab 'Hi-Potion' and 'Limit Breaker' next to the door and from the Limit Breaker, look E and down to see "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [62] (coordinates N5). Now start following the path S. Kill both DG Soldier giving you their backs and in the SE area, you'll have a DG Soldier shooting at you all the way from the NW corner. Snipe him and approach the W side to have a blue laser gate appear, as well as 2 Aerial Mines, only that these shoot at you, are quick as hell and take more dmg. to take down. Once you've taken care of them, grab the 'Cardkey' and grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x60' before the blue laser gate. Now drop down and several barrels will come your way. Shoot at them all and proceed forward. A DG Soldier comes and tries to take all the items, but kill him before he escapes. The items are: '1,000 Gil', '1,000 Gil', '1,000 Gil', '1,000 Gil', 'Elixir' and 'Phoenix Down'. Now continue on, use the Mako Point when you get to it and a blue laser gate appears as you try to proceed. Look behind you and there's a Heavy Armored Soldier S coming your way, as well as several DG Soldiers on the upper W side of the area. Kill the Heavy Soldier first then snipe down all the other enemies. Now grab the 'Cardkey' and proceed to the next area. When the scene is over, you'll have to fight the DG Elites. This is the only place I recommend using a Limit Breaker. These bastards have a magic shield that repels bullets, so you have to kill them with magic. Since there are 4 of them, it'll take you a lot of magic and some Ethers, so use a Limit Breaker and kill them all. Once you kill them, only the DG Commander is left. Look for him and use Cerberus over and over until he's dead. Also, use the Mako Point on the N side and grab 'Limit Breaker'. Now grab the 'Cardkey' and before anything, go to the left side of the area (where the stairs are) and from here, aim S and down with the Cerberus to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #4" [63] (coordinates E12). Now proceed SW through the blue laser gate on to the next area. Use the shop here if you need to, use the Mako Point and from here, aim S to see 2 DG Soldiers patrolling. Snipe them down, go W to have 2 more DG Soldiers attack you. Now go down the ladder and a DG Soldier attacks you from the E and 2 more from the W. Kill them and go down the ladder. Another DG Soldier appears E of you, so take him out. Go down another level and down here, you'll have several crates. DO NOT USE MELEE ATTACKS! Don't destroy the crates with melee attacks. Instead, shoot all of them with the Griffon to find 'Ether', 'Machine Gun Bullets x30', 'Rifle Bullets x12', 'Rifle Bullets x12', 'Cardkey' and '1,000 Gil'. Now move to the NE corner, look up to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #5" [64] (coordiinates L5). Now go up 2 floors, kill the DG Soldiers on the W side of the room and use the Cardkey. Drop down and then go inside the door. Right as you enter, look S and up to see "MEMORY CAPSULE #6" [65] (coordinates B14). Now follow the path, open the map to find the path going E, follow this path, use the Mako Point, buy whatever you need and go N to trigger a little scene. Once on top the monorail cart, equip your Quantum Cerberus with the Power Booster, as well as the Long Barrel Betta (just for this part) and now we need to take care of 10 targets. Soon enough, when you hear them, 2 targets appear behind you. 2 Quantum bullets should be enough. This makes 4 targets - 2 DG Soldiers and 2 carts. Afterwards, when both tracks are side by side, there's another DG Soldier and cart approaching. Once you take care, the other track goes over you. When this happens, another cart appears, but this time with 2 DG Soldiers. This makes 9 targets. The last one is a Chopper. You have to deal around 10,000 dmg. for you to destroy it. He's quite easy with the Long Barrel Betta and the Power Booster. Critical hits deal over 1,000 dmg, and regular one deal around 400 dmg., so it's pretty easy to take care of him. Once this is over, go W as far as you can and you can see "MEMORY CAPSULE #7" [66] coordinates (coordinates C9) under the entrance of the cart. Now follow the path, drop down and go S to the next area. Did you hear what Vincent said to his gun? "You know what to do, Cerberus". Oh man, that sounded so awesome. Anyway, go W from the start, break the crate to find 'Machine Gun Bullets x180' and look W to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #8" [67] (coordinates G14). From here, we can reach another one. Stay close to the N fence, look NW and down to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #9" [68] (coordinates J12). Now return to the main street, go N and break the crate to find 'Ether'. Now stand N of the barrel, look E and down through the broken street to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #10" [69] (coordinates M12). Now go E and you'll have to take on 3 DG Soldiers. Once done that, proceed N a little following the E passageway and 3 more DG Soldiers appear, along with a DG Elite. Take out the DG Elite with 2 Firagas and the other ones normally. Now go further N a little bit more and 2 DG Snipers and another DG Elite appear. You know what to do. Now go down the stairs at the end, go down only one set and 2 DG Elites appear, along with a DG Soldier. Take them out and go down a little stairway N on the right side to find '3,000 Gil'. Grab 'Cardkey' from a DG Elite corpse and go W onto the roof. Before moving, go to the E side of this roof (under the walkway) to find 'G Report'. Now follow the path, use the Cardkey and go down the stairs. As you approach the next blue laser gate, 3 SOLDIER Troopers appear behind you. Kill them to get 'Cardkey'. Now use it and grab... 'Potoin'?... lol, I laughed so hard. I thought it was a glitch or my game was wrong, but no, it's an actual item XD. Watch out because a Heavy Armored Soldier S appears right next to you. Grab the 'Cardkey' and use it. Once you get out, look S to see 1 DG Soldier on top and 3 DG Soldiers on the lower ground. Kill the lower ones with the barrel, then snipe the upper one and grab 'X-Potion'. Now drop down to have 3 more DG Soldiers appear. Now use the Mako Point when you get to it and 2 DG Snipers and a DG Soldier come out and play. Drop down from the Mako Point and go W to find 'Rifle Bullets x12'. Locate the DG Sniper to the N and when you get to a fork, go N and grab 'Blast Machine Gun'. Equip it if you want and try to leave to have the blue laser gate activate. Now try going N and a s***load of Guard Hounds appear. The first 2 waves come 9 enemies. Use a Firaga to kill all of them on one shot. You should have a 17 killstreak. Then 3 Crimson Hounds appear. Use the same tactic. Grab all the items, the 'Cardkey' and leave this area to the previous fork, which you should take NW. Up here, go E to find 'Cardkey'. From here, stand in middle of the bridge, on the N side and look NE and up on top of the house to the NE to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #11" [70] (coordinates J6). Now go W and 2 Heavy Armored Soldiers B pop up and shoot at you. Kill them and look N from where one of the Heavy enemy appeared to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #12" [71] (coordinates E6). Now go W across the blue laser gate and in this area, you can drop off the S side. Before doing so, take out your Hydra and look S inside the cannal to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #13" [72] (coordinates E11). You'll also see a crate right in front of you. DO NOT SHOOT IT! Take out your Hydra and aim at the barrel behind it to make it fall. Now drop down and grab 'Fairy L Barrel'. This Barrel is better than the Long Barrel Beta, only that it has -10 POW than the Long Barrel Beta. Now go to the W side of this area and go S and hop on the turret. A mission starts - swiftly neutralize the enemy onslaught. Shoot everything that moves. EVERYTHING! Once you're done, grab the 'Cardkey' and use it on the blue laser gate behind the turret to find 'Cardkey', 'Phoenix Down', 'Limit Breaker' and '3,000 Gil'. Now go N, use the Cardkey and kill the 3 DG Soldiers that are waiting for you here. Go down the stairs and grab all 4 items here: 'Handgun Bullets x36', 'Elixir', 'Machine Gun Bullets x60' and 'Rifle Bullets x12'. From this last item, aim S and up to see 4 barrels. Shoot the second one from right to left to have a Cactuar appear. Kill him. Now go inside the house S of here to find 4 briefcases with 1 Gil and another one with '10,000 Gil'. Once you grab this, 3 DG Soldiers appear inside the house and 2 DG Elite appear outside. Kill them all and now go E, up the stairs and before getting on the bridge, go N and look N to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #14" [73] (coordinates E2). Now move onto the bridge where you can find 'Limit Breaker'. You'll also be greeted by tons of enemies. You'll have like 3 or 4 waves of 4 DG Soldiers. Take them out. The final wave has 2 Heavy Armored Soldier S and a DG Elite. Kill them all with a Thundaga and proceed E across the blue laser gate to trigger a little scene. Once it's over, go E to the shop. If you have Gil, upgrade your S Hydra Gamma to Feather Hydra. Also grab 'Handgun Bullets x36'. Go up the stairs to find 'Rifle Bullets x12' and 'Machine Gun Bullets x60'. Go to the top, where 2 blue laser gates appear and grab '1 Gil' and 'Cardkey'. DO NOT USE THE SHOP! If you do, a DG Soldier comes out of it. Also, break the crate to find a barrel. Shoot the barrel to discover a mine and shoot the mine to find a stupid 'Protoin'. Now keep going up and enter the room. You'll see several mines here, so use Thundaga to take care of them (or most of them) and several enemies appear on the bottom of the room. Kill them, shoot the barrel on the W side over the entrance and grab 'Cardkey'. Enter the next area and a DG Soldier will appear from below. Also, 2 aerial mines will approach you. Take care of them first, then the DG Soldier. There's a DG Soldier in one of the crates, so be careful. Use another 'Cardkey' and kill the DG Soldier that appears right in front of you. Now you have to evade the barrels... oh goodie. Time your jump (right after them exploding) and jump across. Grab the 'Cardkey', use it and exit the building before the 30 seconds pass. Wow. Look N to find some DG Soldiers on the roof. Shoot the barrel to take care of them. Now go down the stairs and around halfway, stop and locate the 3 DG Snipers to your NE. Kill them to make things easier, grab 'Rifle Bullets x12', follow the path, use the shop if you need to and then enter the house, where you can get '5,000 Gil'. From here, try to snipe the dude with the turret. Now go downstairs where probably all the DG Soldiers of the area are trying to enter. Shoot them all with Thundaga. When you kill all DG Soldiers and the DG Snipers, 3 DG Commanders appear. Now go E out here and use the Cardkey. Down here, in this little room, several things start exploding, making a SOLDIER appear, as well as a Heavy Armored Soldier S and a shop. Buy whatever you need and use the Cardkey on the left door. Follow the path and the third mission starts... and it's totally optional. Kill 100 enemies in here to get 'Gold Moogle Doll'. This baby is worth 35,000 Gil. Not bad. There's also a Mako Point in here, so make sure you use it. Leave this area to the top and go NW. You'll see a building that has a blue laser gate not active. Go N to the cliff to overlook the ruins. If you look NE you'll see several enemies. Look NW and you'll see a bridge. There's a part of it that raises like this: /\. Underneath that is "MEMORY CAPSULE #15" [74] (coordinates H7). Also, shoot the 2 turret DG Soldiers to the NE, as well as the other enemies there. Now go inside the building, grab '3,000 Gil' and use the Mako Point. Now go to the bottom and open the door. Drop down and now you have to find 4 items. Time to do this... oh man, this gonna be tough explaining. Remember the cliff you were on when you killed the DG Soldiers? Well, go underneath that, look up and you'll see a rusted pipe on the left. Inside it has a small red mine. Shoot it and then shoot it again to find 'Cardkey'. Now, on the E side, on top of the blue laser gate is a crate. Shoot it down to find 'Cardkey'. Now go inside the tunnel and midway through it, you'll see a mine on the ceiling, next to the light. Shoot it to gain another Cardkey. Now return and go all the way W. Use a Cardkey to get 2 more 'Cardkeys'. Return inside the tunnel and follow it. When you get to a room, use the Mako Point and proceed W, kill the DG Commander and drop down. Kill another DG Commander here, now go up the next ladder and as you go up, you'll see another 'Cardkey'. Once at the top, jump down to get it. Return up here and up another ladder to find a shop. Look behind the shop to find 'Cardkey'. Now break the crate to find another 'Cardkey'. Now follow the path NW until you get to a ledge. DO NOT FALL DOWN YET! You'll find a 'Cardkey' here, so crouch and crawl to get it. Now return to where the DG Commander was and use all the Cardkeys you've got to get 'Cardkey', 'Cardkey' and 'Lucky S Barrel'. Meh, not the best thing. Now return to where the Mako Point is and use a Cardkey to find 'Bayonet Rifle' (I kept the Feather Hydra). Now return to the blue laser gate near the entrance to the tunnel to find 'Elixor'. Now return to where the DG Commanders were and use the last Cardkey to find 'Limit Breaker'. Now go to the shop, fill yourself with Handgun Bullets, Potions, Hi-Potions, etc. Load yourself up and go all the way NW to trigger a scene and a... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: NERO THE SABLE ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: Ok, Nero is not hard, but obnoxious. Always, ALWAYS move around. Just like with Rosso, stay on the move. Nero has few attacks, which are the following: o Revolver. He shoots his revolvers that look like machine guns to deal around 40 dmg. per bullet. He does that through the whole battle. o Dance Macabre. When you get too close to him, he'll spin around and attack you around 10 times for around 250 dmg. total. o Shadow Clones (Naruto?). He starts glowing purple and creates 2 copies of him. Anyone you shoot deals dmg., so to deal massive dmg., get all 3 together and use Thundaga to kill all 3 and make the clones go away. o Shadow Orbs. Nero raises into the sky and shoots 2 Shadow Orbs that deal around 1,000 dmg. each one, so if you get hit, you'll be dead, so make sure to have Phoenix Down on. Like I said above, keep moving around all the time since he likes to shoot around so damn much. Equip your Quantum Cerberus with Thundaga and Faerie L Barrel. Stay away from him at all times. A good trick I found. When you have Nero around 50% or less HP, let him on the E side of the area and quickly run to the W side. There's a large collapsed pillar on the NW part. Nero will start shooting his Shadow Orbs agains you over and over and over and over. When he raises to the sky, use this time to take out your Hydra and shoot him in the head to deal over 450+ dmg. to him, and also getting tons of critical hits for the ranking of the area. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== Now watch the scene and my ranking XD! Use Firaga to take him down and go N to the Mako Point. Grab it and the 'X-Potion' and kill the Gargoyle and the second DG Elite Sniper. From the X-Potion, look N through the wall and you'll see the reactor with some rings spinning around. On the upper ring, there's "MEMORY CAPSULE #1" [75] (coordinates F-3?). Now follow the E path, enter the door, use the shop if needed and proceed to the next room. A little scene triggers in the next room where you have to destroy the Gargoyles. There're 2 Gargoyles in this area, as well as a DG Soldier to the NE on top of a pipe. Take them out, proceed, use the Mako Point, grab 'Handgun Bullets x51' and proceed to the next room. Drop down and kill the cockroaches. Grab 'Rifle Bullets x20'. Follow the path, grab 'Handgun Bullets x51' and soon enough you'll encounter 3 more DG Elites. Kill them and a Heavy Armored Soldier B appears to the SE. Kill him and 2 bugs appear, as well as 2 blue laser gate. Grab the 'Cardkey' from the bugs, go NE and jump on the little platform to find 'Mega-Potion'. Now drop down the ladder and at the bottom, go down the few stairs in front of you and turn S to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #2" [76] (coordinates J13) on the ground. You know where are we now, right? Yeah, same place as when we were playing with Cait Sith. Anyway, go NW and go down the ladder at the bottom. Go up the ladder right next to you to find 'Limit Breaker'. You'll also find '100 Gil' x9 and a Mako Point. As you grab the Mako Point, 4 bugs drop down. Use a Thundaga to take care of all of them. Grab 'Cardkey' and proceed to the next area. There are 3 more Gargoyles, so take care of them. There's also a turret to take care of them, but don't use it. We need the accuracy. Grab 'Rifle Bullets x20', 'Handgun Bullets x51' and 'Machine Gun Bullets x80' just N of the turret. Now go N to the next area. A little scene triggers here and your next mission starts - defeat all the enemies in the central pillar. Start by locating the pillar. Once you've done so, look on top of the pillar to find several crates and barrels. Shoot at a barrel to make everything fall down, killing most of the enemies. If DG Elites are still alive, use Thundaga to get rid of them. Also, go to the SE corner to find 'Hi-Potion'. Now go to the NE corner to find 'Phoenix Down'. Now proceed to the next area, grabing 'X-Potion' and 'Hi-Potion' along the way. You'll have to fight 9 Gargoyles here. What a pain. At first, most of them approach you together. Use this valuable time to shoot a Thundaga and kill/hurt most of them. Then just use Hydra to take care of the rest. Now go NW, use the Mako Point and proceed to the next area. In this area, some enemies pop out. Kill the DG Elite with magic or melee attacks, use the 'Cardkey' it drops. There's a DG Soldier pushing a turret on the other side. If you can, snipe him from where you fought the DG Elite before he takes his place. If you can't, stay on the side where you fought the DG Elite and use the consoles in middle of the hallway to take cover. There's a time when the Turret Soldier stops firing. Use this time to snipe him in the end. Once you've killed him, move to the consoled in middle of the room and look S to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #3" [77] (coordinates C7). Now follow the path and you'll find 3 DG Elites giving you their backs. Thundaga them all and proceed. In the next room, you'll find 2 bugs inside the pipe on the roof. Kill them and proceed to the next room. Use the Mako Point in here and proceed to the next hallway. You'll have 4 DG Elites on top shooting downwards. Shoot these that are shooting downwards with Thundaga to create an opening, then run to the next room. You'll have 8 bugs in here, so use the expansion wave of Firaga to take care of all of them. Pretty neat. Once you kill all them, grab 'Cardkey' and look up in the W corner to find "MEMORY CAPSULE #4" [78] (coordinates A6). In the next room, you'll have some DG Elites. There's a "MEMORY CAPSULE #5" [79] (coordinates C10)and a 'G Report' in here. First of all, shoot Thundaga to the DG Elites to kill them. More will reappear, but there will only be 2. Anyway, as you enter, go to the SW side of the room and you'll see 2 white pipes coming out of the ground in the center. Jump on them and look inside to find the Memory Capsule. As for the G Report, stand in the middle of the room and the platform will rise. Once at the top, jump either on the left or the right side and make your way to the N corner to find the G Report. Make sure you use all 4 Mako Points , proceed to the next room, grab 'Machine Gun Bullets x80', 'Handgun Bullets x51', 'Rifle Bullets x20' and 'Hi-Potion'. It also has some Gargoyles and cockroaches with it, so this makes it a little bit tougher... nah, not really. Since you don't have that much space to move, have the Gargoyles be on their way (if they're not attacking you, let them be) and kill the cockroaches with they appear. Ok, do you see those purple crystals flying around the area? With 3-4 shots from a Quantum Cerberus, they get destroyed. Once they're destroyed, start shooting at Nero's magic barrier to destroy it. Once destroyed, you can damage him, while he shoots Fireballs at you. These are easy to dodge, so do so and keep shooting at him. He jumps near you and attacks with both swords to deal around 250 dmg. o Ground wave. She creates some waves that advance towards you. This one deals around 200 dmg. per wave. o Earthquake. He moves to where he was seated in the previous scenes and shoot 4 homing orbs at you that deal around 150 dmg. per orb. o Slash combo. Once he has like 20% left, he starts to pump up and jumps at you, attacking you several times for around 150 dmg. per hit. If you're low on HP, this attack can kill you. N side of the area, near the middle. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== C H A P T E R 2 _,-^¯\_}\_____________________,-._____________________/{_/¯`-._ ¯`-._/¯}/¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯'-'¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯\{¯\_,-^¯ S H O W D O W N I N T H E W A S T E S ____________________________________[sx602]____________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: CRIMSON HOUND ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: Alrighty, the Boss of the Guard Hounds. You might be dealing around 250 dmg. per hit, so with a couple hits, he'll go down. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: PEGASUS RIDERS x5 ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: Are you kidding me? Let me list the attacks: o Machine Gun. It deals around 7 dmg. per hit. It may not be much, but with several hits, it's a lot. o Charge. They charge at you to deal over 100 dmg. Ouch. Well, this will go down rather easily and fast. First of all, take out your Cerberus III with a Normal Barrel II. Focus on one and use all your Mako on them (remember that magic used is also counted for your ranking). Use the Mako Point on the E side of the area to refill and deplete that Mako as well. Once you're out of Mako, simply shoot them once to destroy them. Yes, with just one shot from Cerberus III and Normal Barrel II they'll die. The snipers are on your left and right side, 2 on each side. You'll also find some stairs going up, so I recommend shooting both DG Soldiers as you gain control, go up and take care of the 4 DG Snipers. If you're about to die (like having around 100 or less HP), use a Limit Breaker to replenish your HP and gain STR and DEF. Like I said, always move, use magic and have her in your aim to get out victorious of this battle. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: AZUL THE CERULEAN ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: Alrighty. Like I said, with those 3 things equipped, you'll deal over 1000 dmg. to Black Widow. Use Thundaga around 4-5 times and it's toast. See, it's that easy. But also, let me explain some more. It likes to crawl around the place, climbing on the walls and on the roof. If you want, you can keep shooting at it with your Griffon, just to deal a little more dmg. There's really no strategy here, rather than keep yourself in movement all the time, never stay still and always shoot at her with your Cerberus, since it's the weapon with the most dmg. output/speed you have ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== C H A P T E R 9 _,-^¯\_}\_________________,-._________________/{_/¯`-._ ¯`-._/¯}/¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯'-'¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯\{¯\_,-^¯ A N E M P I R E I N R U I N S ____________________________________[sx609]____________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: BLACK WIDOW TW ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: Ok, even though we're against 2, it's still easy. This is it. Remember to jump over his Shockwave. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: ARCH AZUL ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: Alrighty, this is true and last battle with Azul. Thank goodness. Also, let me tell you right now that bullets don't work on him. You have to rely on magic. Thankfully you have how to replenish. Use it over and over to deal over 1,000 dmg. every time. It also has some Gargoyles and cockroaches with it, so this makes it a little bit tougher... nah, not really. Since you don't have that much space to move, have the Gargoyles be on their way (if they're not attacking you, let them be) and kill the cockroaches with they appear. Once Dragonfly is near you, use either your Griffon or your Cerberus to take care of it. Shoot Thundaga over and over throughout the battle to make its HP deplete even faster. That's it basically. You can use the pillars around you to take cover from its rockets. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: ARACHNERO ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: This fight is pretty simple if you know what to do and how to damage Nero. Use Blizzaga every time you can and after some damage, he'll return behind his magic barrier and the purple crystals come out. Do this over and over until a scene triggers and this fight ends. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: GORGONERO ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Strategy: Nero is now his usual self. He shoots his revolvers that look like machine guns to deal around 40 dmg. per bullet. He does that through the whole battle. o Dance Macabre. When you get too close to him, he'll spin around and attack you around 10 times for around 250 dmg. total. We have nowhere to run to. We're stuck in this little piece or land. Nero likes to appear and disappear in several locations. If he gets besides you, he'll use Dance Macabre. When he disappears, start looking for him and when you find him, shoot at him. He jumps near you and attacks with both swords to deal around 250 dmg. o Ground wave. She creates some waves that advance towards you. This one deals around 200 dmg. per wave. o Earthquake. Remember the wave attack Azul did? Weiss does it too to deal around 200 dmg. o Multi-bullets. These deal around 120 dmg. per round. o Homing Orbs. Whenever you see Weiss dashing towards you or jumping, quickly step aside and press [] to dash and probably evade the attack. Always stay away from Weiss. Try to stay as far from him as possible. Just shoot him with Cerberus normally like you would do to any other boss. Using Thundaga will privide useful, as it deals 3 times more dmg. than Cerberus. When he does his Slash combo, which is his most powerful attack, try evading it with aside + []. Tap that as quickly as possible to evade. Also, always keep your HP high. Weiss comes down and slashes you with his sword ot deal around 350 dmg. o Slash combo. Weiss attacks you several times to deal around 600 dmg. o Mirrors. Several mirrors form in front of Omega and then attack you with them dealing around 100 dmg. per mirror hit. He's seriously not that hard. Just wanted to scare you ;). Since you're attacking both Omega and Weiss, you'll be dealing double dmg. to him. Keep shooting at him from a distance to have him only attack you with attack 1. These can easily be avoided while pressing [] and a side. Also, when Weiss comes down, focus on him and ignore Omega, as Omega won't do anything while Weiss is down here. Also, try to keep your HP above 1500. His Meteor attack deals a whopping 1500+ dmg., so try having Phoenix Down on at all times. When he turns red, he starts following you around.
