Completed up to right before crossing Lake Forwel. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2. Walkthrough ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2A. Klein the Alchemist ---~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Items: 100 Cole, 280 Cole, 300 Cole, Ale x 5, Canola Oil x 5, Dark Mana, Feather Charm, Flour x 5, Goat Milk x 5, Green Powder x 5, Karikari Nuts x 5, Mini Pendelook, Pinenuts, Rock Sugar x 5, Tingleberry x 3. The game starts with Klein and Lita standing by a sparkling circle of pillars. Lita will begin reminiscing about when the two of them met, triggering what'll probably be a flashback for the first few parts of the game. We'll see Lita walking around a deserted town, and then two women speaking to each other, one of which is apparently a cat. She's being sent off to find "them," but of course we don't know "them" who yet. We'll also see the Chief of Water and the Chief of Fire conversing about mana waning. We'll also see a Mysterious Man trying to use a large magical circle to achieve something, but there's simply not enough mana for him to do so. He'll need the Ruby Prism to achieve his goal! Whatever that is, anyway. We'll now see Klein the alchemist appear in the Lapis Woods, having run away from something. Popo, a Mana spirit or elemental if you'd prefer, will pop in to make fun of Klein, but he'll vanish again right before a Falcon Hawk swoops in for the attack! Klein's out of elements, so he can't use any of his alchemy powers. Fortunately for him, a girl named Lita will appear, and assist Klein in driving the beast away. Just attack, there's no real way to lose this fight that way. With the Falcon Hawk gone, Lita will chew Klein up a bit verbally, before informing him of a local town, Kavoc, and leaving. Some light teasing from Popo later, we'll be able to steer ourselves the small area. Walk over towards a rock, and an Elemental Extraction tutorial should appear, which'll explain all you need to know about Klein's special ability. Plus it'll be retained in the Help Menu if you ever need a refresher course. To sum it up, if in doubt, try to suck the elements out of everything around you, as it can't hurt. Destroy the local rocks, especially the blue one, and press X by the tree trunk to climb up, to find a hidden chest with a Feather Charm! Feel free to equip it right away, stat boosts always help! Now just climb back down, walk over to the northwest, and fight the Falcon Hawk again. Just follow the Magic Synthesis instructions, smack the Falcon Hawk with an Ice Bomb, and the game will start off for real. Klein will stroll into Kavoc next. There's a lot to do, especially for Extracting elements and collecting replenishing items. You'll see sparkling items from time to time; if you grab these items, then leave the screen and come back, chances are there will be more of that item available, though in some cases, there might be several versions of an item, such as Lando and Sweet Lando. Also, while many items can have elements Extracted from them, it is not recommended to do so to barrels right away. Some barrels contain items, which you will only get if you hit X to examine them. Your characters will tell you just what the barrel is, and if there's an item inside, the barrel'll vanish in a flash of light. Some of these barrels don't seem to come back, in Kavoc at least, while ones in other locations seem a bit more randomized. In any case, I am going to assume you're checking every barrel you encounter on your journey, so I won't remind you to. Barrels that don't vanish when examined are safe to Elemental Extract, and will come back if you leave the area as well. First things first! Jump up on the ledges immediately to your west from the town entrance. You can use this to walk across a small walkway to a pouch with 300 Cole! Head west and to the next screen, to be outside of the town's Weapon Shop. Before going in, extract the crate on top of the rooftop to reach a chest with Pinenuts. You might want to hold off on any purchases from the Weapon Shop for now, but you can extract the fire that's burning to the side of the counter while you're here. Now head back to the main section of town. You'll see a pouch on top of some crates and barrels as you go to the southwest. You'll also probably see some sparkling fruits, which would be the aforementioned Lando and occasionally Sweet Lando. Extract the crates and boxes so you can hop up them to the top, and you'll get 280 Cole! Now, walk into the building with the large mug on its sign, which is the Wild Moss Bar. You'll meet Norman, and be given the heroic "Mission" of delivering lunch boxes to the Magic Shop and the Grocery Store. Klein will also set up a Journal, so that you can save your game! You can also talk to Popo for free healing, always useful. Back outside, go up the steps to the west to the next area, then enter the Magic shop to the east of you. Veola, the woman behind the counter, will take her lunch, and suggest visiting the Grocery Store to see some knickknacks, before basically kicking you out. Outside the shop, you can find a few good items if you look for them. You can examine the water in the small pool for some replenishing Foul Water, and you can also find two replenishing helpings of Well Water in the small well right above it. There is usually some replenishing Kavo Potato hanging from this blue house's roof, and you can find an item called Dark Mana on top of the roof, which you can get if you make a jump from the barrel. The cathedral usually has some replenishing Skinny Log to the east of the door, and there's even more replenishing items, Magi Grass and Green Pepper growing to the east of the cathedral and its stairs. Speaking of stairs, if you go up them, then climb the ladder and run east across the walkway, you'll find a Mini Pendelook. Now, go back to the main screen of Kavoc, and go inside the Grocery Store to the south. Lyla will greet you a lot more nicely than Veola did, and will let you into her back room to open a box that she found, which supposedly has some alchemy-related item in it. It's a Heal Jar, and having found one, now Klein knows the recipe to Mana Synthesis it in the future! Thank you very much, Lyla! There'll be a Mana Item tutorial, as well as a separate one on Mana Synthesis, so don't fret if you're not sure what to do. Lyla will walk inside the room, and upon being questioned by Klein, will say that Norman should be able to give us a clue where to go next. Norman will give us 100 Cole for a job well done. Norman'll be very hesitant to tell us anything about the town in the sky, but Delsus will tell us to check the tower to the west. And that easily, we can now go to the Tower of Airfen! Make sure you're healed up, saved, and when you're set, walk out of town and go back to the Lapis Woods, where the game started. This time around, there will be some replenishing items: Old Smoking or Fresh Smoking by the rocks as you enter from the northwest; Green Pepper from a small tree you pass along the path; Old Dancing of Fresh Dancing by the big tree roots; Spoiled Nue on the big tree roots; and Karikari Nuts hanging from the big tree. There are also a few monsters, but you should be able to easily handle any that you encounter, before you exit to the southeast. On the southern end of the forest, just follow the path to the only place we can visit, the Tower of Airfen. When you enter, you may see replenishing Old Pinenuts and Pinenuts by the western tree, Magi Grass and Tall Magi Grass to the east, Spoiled Nues by the eastern tree, and Karikari Nuts hanging down from said tree. There's also a glowing magical circle, which when you enter, will warp you to the top of the tower. We'll now be able to travel to Henmil's Gate, but more importantly, there is a chest right next to us with an Herbal Drop! As Popo will verify, he cannot handle any Mana Synthesis that requires Fire Elements, so we'll just need to find another helper later on to help with this synthesis. Arriving at Henmil's Gate, Klein will bump into Lita again, where they'll exchange formal introductions. Klein will set right to trying to figure out the Gate's secret, so much so that a mysterious man will come by, flee after seeing Klein's alchemy, and he'll never even realize it. Lita'll be rather amazed, and will invite Klein to be a Galgazit, a kind of monster bounty hunter. Lita'll join the party, and tell you to go back to Kavoc. You'll also get to learn how to use a tent in certain locations. Back in the Lapis Woods, you'll bump into a pair of children, named Dia and Yach. They seem to also have a ghost following them around, named Pamela! After asking if Klein happens to know where her body is, she'll head off to continue her chaperoning. Continue on to Kavoc, and Lita will automatically talk to Norman about the house. It seems rather nice, but Klein wants to use the big boiling pot on the fire for alchemy, which I guess is better than using it just to heat up the pot for however long it's been there. Norman'll agree to this, as long as Klein and Lita can pick up some Tingleberries from the Magic Shop real quick. Of course, this'll lead to the party bumping into Rurona, another alchemist, who mentions a ruin known as the Flawless Marvel. She'll wander off, depriving us of some alchemy recipe-swapping. After a small fight between Lita and Veola, you'll have the Tingleberries, and can bring them to Norman. He'll thank you, and make you launch right into a Shop Synthesis trial run. He's supplying the ingredients, so there's no real way to mess this up. When all is said and done, you'll have the Meuniere you made, and Popo'll let you see the Shop Synthesis tutorial. Afterwards, Norman will be happy, and give you: five Flour, five Green Powder, five Rock Sugar, five Ale, five Karikari Nuts, five Goat Milk, and five Canola Oil! Quite a reward for something you couldn't mess up! You'll also get to keep two of the Tingleberries. I've also spotted replenishing Meuniere on the tables at times, but they seem pretty infrequent. Klein gets his alchemy pot, and a night's rest. But it seems a coughing Sir Beggur wants Klein brought in for questioning... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2B. Growloon Hunting and Ghost Catching ---~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Items: 140 Cole, 220 Cole, 325 Cole, 360 Cole, 360 Cole, 500 Cole, Blue Bracer, Black Mana, Blue Mana, Broken Grass, Dark Mana x 2, Feather Charm, Meuniere x 3, Milk x 5, Red Bracer, Red Mana, Twisted Lando. We're all ready for a brand new day as a Galgazit. Make sure you're healed up, and try to walk out of Kavoc. A Growloon will have been spotted in the Lapis Woods! Klein and Lita will rush over, and spot a swordsman who looks very much like someone from the game's introduction, named Arlin. Arlin wanders off to let us fight the Growloon, and a Mandragora attacks! He brought along some friends, too. In case you haven't had many battles yet, remember that many of your characters can hit a wider area. For instance, One of Lita's Claw ATKs can easily take out three Mini Puni in a single blow. So really, the fight isn't as hard as it might seem. Klein will dispatch the floating balloon-thing, which is what the Growloons look like apparently. I wonder how the Galgazits, who specialize in taking out Growloons, stay in business, if alchemist Galgazits are so necessary yet so rare... Looks like Arlin was watching, too, and he has his own Mana accompanying him! Head out of the Woods and go to the Wild Moss Bar in Kavoc, to get 500 Cole from Norman and a red book showing us our Growloon slayings. You can also pick a team name! Do keep in mind, the list is slightly random each time, so if you don't like any of the names, and really want to be picky, you can just load your save, bash the Growloon again, and do this part again to see if you get something else! Head back to your base, and Lita'll verify that Growloons are problems due to the monsters they summon, not their floating in place and such. You can get a Growloons tutorial as well if you want. Afterwards, a man will barge in to tell us to head to Kavoc's cathedral. Inside, you'll meet Beggur, as well as the white-haired man from the game's intro who looks a lot like Arlin. Beggur will ask for Klein to join the Alkavana, but upon seeing how Beggur mistreats his Fire Mana, Klein attacks him instead. The party, with Fire Mana in tow, flee from the cathedral, and Delsus will appear to help you hide from your pursuers. Some dialogue later, Delsus joins the party! From the start of the Kavoc Sewers, head past the barrel. Continue straight ahead, breaking the crates in your way, and walk down the stairs to a chest with a Blue Bracer! Retrace your steps back west, then go southwest down the path. Hop over the purple crystals and go east, grabbing the replenishing Fresh Smoking and Old Smoking if they're there, then cross the bridge to the southwest. Some replenishing Fresh Dancing will be east, along with a not so helpful sign. But first, go west, to some pots, possible regenerating Red Legien, and a barrel. Going further west and breaking a crate will let you reach a chest with 360 Cole. Southwest of the sign, you'll find replenishing Fest Rock and a rock, and to the west will be another sign warning of an area for authorized people only. Ignore it, clear the place out, and uncover a chest with Blue Mana inside. Over to the east, you'll find replenishing Red Legien, and some purple and black crystals to hop over. The passage will open up inside the Grocery Shop, and by this time the guards have given up. Delsus will suggest we hide at Lake Forwel, to the east of Kavoc. We'll also be able to visit an Outdoor Theater there. But the goodies aren't done yet; Uru, the Mana of Fire will officially join the team, and Klein can now use Destruction Blast. Now that Uru is with us, we can finally make more Herbal Drops. Just be sure to boost Uru's Love and Energy, and he doesn't start off in the best shape. While we're supposed to be fleeing Kavoc, there's no reason why we should just yet, as we have more goodies to collect first, so head back into the Sewers after healing and saving your game. First things first. You'll want to head to the east, near where we got the Blue Bracer on our last trip. Head southwest, northwest, and use a Destruction Blast on the purple crystals here. The chest on the other side will give you Black Mana. The chest on the other side of the black crystals, we'll just have to get another time. Walk back towards the start of this area, going southwest and around the bend to the purple crystals. While we can see a chest on the other side, there is also an electrified floor, that will hurt us if we touch, so for now we'll have to leave that chest alone. Continue southeast, finding a replenishing Fest Stone, then hop down onto the wooden walkway. Examine the log to sail over to the other side, then Destruction Blast the purple crystal to get to the other log. You'll find 360 Cole in a chest on the other side! Sometimes you can also spot some replenishing Large Gear. That's it for here, so feel free to leave, heal and save, and stock up on anything you might need, before we leave town. After the scene where the mysterious white-haired man is identified as Mull, turn right back around and go to the Wild Moss Bar. Norman should prompt Lita into sharing the Monster Manual with you, either at Base or in your tent. Veola in the Magic Shop will also ask you to bring her back some books, to inspire her to make new items. Then again, I've been doing a lot of Shop Synthesis, and several lesser events and scenes have been happening, so this could just be a coincidence. Anyway, we're set, so leave Kavoc, heading east and then south to the Outdoor Theater. As you enter, walk to the west between the edge of the screen and the red chest-like object, and you'll find Dark Mana. You can also get 140 Cole with some well-placed Destruction Blasts on the purple crystals. Continue to follow the path south to a Field, and enter it. You'll find 220 Cole in a bag, as well as some replenishing Magi Grass, Karikari Nuts, Fresh Dancing, and Pinenuts. You'll also see three Growloons! You can either ignore them, and fight in the Field here to see if you can take on any stronger monsters, or you can just destroy them. A Destruction Blast works, but using Element Extraction can give you some rarer elements, so I recommend doing so. If you do take out all three, that should be enough to boost your Galgazit team-ranking, so you can check the red book in the Wild Moss Bar for your rewards! I've met the monsters from the Growloon-buffed area out and about on the world map, so there's no worry about missing any of them. Once you're set, continue east of the Field, and you'll see a small town to the northeast, which is Lake Forwel. Once there, Delsus will get a small assignment from Gemlis, the fisherman. It'll be our job to find some Stained Grass from the forest. The only forest we've entered so far in the game was the Lapis Woods, so that must be the spot! First though, if you open the chest on top of the crate, Klein will learn how to synthesize a Sleepaid! Nab the replenishing Tall Magi Grass and Pinenuts nearby, and the Magi Grass from near the cow, then enter the house to the east, with the replenishing Carrot outside. You'll get a Twisted Lando and a Feather Charm from the pouches! There are usually replenishing Skinny Log and Kavo Potato here, too. Go back outside, and follow the path south towards the pink ship that looks like a duck. Some crate-breaking and Destruction Blasting later, you should have a Red Mana and a Dark Mana. Now let's head back to Lapis Woods! We must be in the right spot, because it's suddenly raining. Lita will go off to dry herself without any of the guys around to see her, and will meet a redheaded female knight, who's doing the exact same thing. Keep your mind out of the gutter now... Delsus will get shot down and ignored as he tries out his slightly rusty moves, and will be branded the party's pervert. With that all done, you'll want to climb up the tree trunk, and get the Broken Grass at the top. Take it back to Gemlis, who will accepted the damaged goods, but not before scolding Delsus about it. It's just not his day... 325 Cole will be our reward, and it's back to Kavoc to see if the Alkavana are mad at us still. Visit the Wild Moss Bar when you get into town, and Norman will tell us that the townspeople like us opposing the Alkavana, or at least they feel it's a good topic for gossip. We'll now be assigned to investigate a ghost who is haunting the Kavoc Sewers. If you head towards it, you'll see Dia and Yach teasing each other about being scared to investigate it. Lita will tell them that she'll handle it, and they'll run off home. Enter the Sewers, walking over to the area with the purple crystals and electrified floor, to encounter the ghost! But it's only Pamela, and she denies being the scary ghost everyone is so scared of. She's too nice to do that, anyway. So, head back to Base, and Dia will barge in, looking for Yach. Pamela will appear through the wall, and say she saw Yach in the Sewers earlier. Guess it's time to make another trip, but be sure you're ready for a fight! In the Sewers, head towards where the rock was. You'll see Yach getting attacked by a spirit in a witch outfit, but Lita'll take the blow instead. She seems to be okay, so it's time to kick the ghost's butt! Lita'll warn Klein that physical attacks won't work, but there's really no reason to worry, as it seems everyone has skills that can get around the "no physical attack" rule. Even Klein's default ELE EXTRACT attack counts as a magical attack in this way. So have the rest of the party dispatch the Ghost's friends, and kill it off with your preferred method. Dia will be glad that her homework "helper" is alive and well, and she'll head off, but then she'll return to give you a Red Bracer for your help. Make your way out of the Sewers, and go back to Base, where Lita will leave the party to take a nap. Something seems a little different with Lita, too, and it's not a haircut... Go visit Norman, to get your reward of five Milk and 3 Meuniere. Next, go to the next screen as if you were going to the Magic Shop, then turn around and head back to Base. A scene will occur, and the kitty from the opening will appear. Seems Klein really is the "them" she was looking for! Go back inside the Base, to get Lita back in the party, then heal and save and all that fun stuff! It seems there's finally a show that will be happening at the Outdoor Theater, so that's our next stop. When you arrive, Klein and crew will find out the Alkavana are hosting the play. There's also Arlin in the crowd, but I don't see how Lita missed that green hair. The cat lady will also decide to watch the play, but will interrupt it with a bit of cat burglary! Or pick-pocketing actually, as Klein loses Daphne's Book, Delsus loses his flask, and some cookies and surfboards go missing. You'll rush off to find her, but first, turn around and enter the Outdoor Theater again. The place cleared out fast, and now you'll be able to find replenishing Snowbug, String, Spoiled Nue, and Skinny Log. The thief has run off to Kavoc, as you'll see if you enter the town. Out by the cathedral, two female knights named Vier and Neun will have the thief, Norn, cornered. She'll escape in the confusion as the party arrives, and will run off. The knights will depart, and Arlin will appear to tell us to check the forest! Sure enough, she's there, but so is Beggur. You'll have to fight him, as well as Ein and Zwei. Many of their moves are Double Types, meaning they'll set their move up, and not hit you until the next round. You can wail on them to try to disrupt it if you want. You must finish off all three, and since they do about the same amount of damage, you'll want to take out Ein and Zwei first, then dispatch Beggur. Before you know it, you'll win! Norn will rush off, saying Zeldalia wants Klein's book. Delsus isn't too worried, as he knows where Zeldalia lives, so he suggests going back to Base to rest. You'll also get a Battle tutorial, if you're so inclined to see it. On the way, you'll see a scene with Beggur sending Ein, Zwei, and Vier to arrest Klein. We already beat up two of them, so this is probably something we don't need to worry about. Back at Base, we'll find out Zeldalia lives in Poto's Forest, but we'll have to get past Fort Galga to get there. There's supposed to be a path around Lake Forwel, by Iris' grave, that'll lead there, or so Delsus says. Finally, we'll see Zeldalia and Mull talking. They apparently know each other, and Mull is just there to brag about his experiment, that is supposed to defy nature, almost being done... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2C. Furry Cats, Winged Girls, Puni Gods ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Items: 280 Cole, 340 Cole x 3, 370 Cole x 2, 1940 Cole, Ancient Mask, Black Mana x 2, Blue Mana x 2, Dark Mana, Dragon Fangs, Fairy Claw, Frozen Rain, Glowing Mana x 2, Green Mana, Gust Sphere, Red Bracer, Red Mana x 2, Sorcerer Support, Speedster, Super Puni Ball, Yellow Mana x 3, Visa. Naturally, our next stop will be right where Delsus told us to go, Lake Forwel. When the party arrives, a conversation with a possibly deaf man will reveal that our only options are to beat up all of Alkavana, or to get a Visa. The area still deserves some investigating, so talk to the man by the pink duck boat, and we'll arrive at the Crossroads. We'll now be able to move on to the Collector's Caravan and the Proselyte Encampment. Feel free to help yourself to replenishing Fest Rock before moving on, if you don't already have a ton of it! To start, move east along the road, until you reach the Proselyte Encampment. While we can't get past this spot yet, there is a blue book here if you need a save point, plus there's a chest. You'll now be able to make Flame with Mana Synthesis! As you try to leave, Neun will appear, demanding that we return the Flame since Mull made it. No matter what option you pick, Klein will keep it, and eventually lose her. Leave for real this time, return to the Crossroads, then move north and east to the Collector's Caravan. Here we'll meet Lector, who agrees to solve our Visa problem on one condition: we help her make an Item List. Just like that, problem solved, and we'll get a new tutorial on the Collection System. Talk to Lector again, and she'll show you the list of items she currently is searching for. You might have a Bonus or two unlockable already, depending on how heavy your inventory is, plus you get 100 Cole for new every item you bring by, so chances are your financial problems are solved for the moment. Plus there are replenishing Pinenuts here, might even be a new item for your list! Returning to the Proselyte Encampment, Beggur, Ein, and Zwei will leave on patrol, with Drei being left on guard. Since he's never seen the party, it's easy to show him the Visa and walk right on by. Out on the other side, follow the path right to Iris' Resting Place. Right inside, the first thing you will see is a Growloon! Hard monsters will be in the area, and the only closest spot for healing is at Lake Forwel. I returned there, and found down by the docks that there was a new puzzle, with black and purple crystals, that resulted in me earning a Blue Mana. Worth the trip! Back at Iris' Resting Place, move southwest, Element Extracting a broken sphere and continuing by to nab a replenishing Mini Pendelook. The nearby chest contains a Red Bracer, and there are replenishing Small Gear, Large Gear, Broken Handle, Red Legien, and Mini Pendelook here. If you move northwest and enter a door, you'll find a Furnace that is undergoing repairs, or so Puko the janitor tells you. Seems I was wrong about there not being a local place to heal, as well, since you can use a tent in this room. Be sure to nab a replenishing Broken Handle, Thin Metal, and Thick Metal, and the pouch with 340 Cole. Examining the northern wall will net you a Black Mana and a Yellow Mana, too! Walk up the stairs outside of the Furnace, getting past the lightning traps. Lita will notice some pedestals up ahead, which Klein can sense are full of Mana. The party'll ignore them, deciding to continue on to find Norn. Sometimes there are replenishing Mini Pendelook on the bridge here, too. If you walk back towards the closest Growloon, and hop around firing Destruction Blasts, you can take it out! Move to the northeast, hopping over the crystals, and you'll find another Growloon you can beat up with Element Extraction. There is usually replenishing Large Gear around here, too. Continue northwest, avoiding the conveyor belt, and go north when you can to a statue. An honest conversation later, and Plua the dark Mana will join us, and give us Gather Monsters and Obtain Mana tutorials. Make sure to extract the dark sphere in the next area, for a good amount of Dark Elements! Walk up the stairs, then go east and up another flight, before going south to a chest with a Mana Jar inside for us to make in Mana Synthesis. Move back north, then walk east, hopping over the crystals, then carefully making your way up the floating platforms back west. Defeat the Growloon, and open the chest for Sorcerer Support. Retrace your steps to the bottom of the stairs, then hop down, moving west by the large blue magic circle. You'll see a pouch guarded by an electric floor trap, but we can jump towards it, and reach the pouch with a Yellow Mana if you're willing to take some damage. You can get back across the same way, too. Moving northwest will cause the party to bump into Mull. He'll call Lita a Daughter of Iris, and then paralyze the party, somehow taking a Ruby Prism from Lita! He'll then vanish, leaving Lita to scramble to prevent telling us anything she might know. It's probably not the best time... Continue up the stairs, and you will reach Poto's Forest finally. First, let's head to the east. Those mushrooms are great sources of Dark Elements, and chances are you'll need a few. You can also find some replenishing Karikari Nut and Pinenuts. You'll see a gray log leading across the river, but continue east, get past the mossy rock, and you can get a chest with 340 Cole. There are usually replenishing Unue by the mossy rock as well. Now you can go over the river and through the woods! Replenishing River Water can be found around the gray log on the next screen, as can Fest Stone, Lando, Fresh Poison, and Extreme Poison. The pouch behind the mushroom has Glowing Mana inside. Also, there is a path leading east, if you go between the logs by the nearby sign with the replenishing Tall Magi Grass by it. You can nab some replenishing Belgrade Potato, and the pouch has Red Mana. The main area will have some replenishing Pinenuts and Old Pinenuts, in case for some reason you've missed out on getting nine of either one by now. To the northeast is the exit from the woods, but as Zeldalia lives in the woods, Delsus won't let us explore out there just yet. Head back to the previous screen, near where we entered Poto's Forest. The area to the west has replenishing Lando, Lovely Lando, Green Pepper, and Belgrade Potato. Forests certainly have a lot of random growing stuff in them, don't they? Move north past the pumpkin, and over the gray logs, getting some replenishing River Water if you want to. Continue east, past the sign and around the bend, where you can get replenishing Fresh Poison past the mushroom. If you destroy the logs to the north, you can find a chest with 340 Cole inside. Further to the northwest of here are some mushrooms, replenishing Old Dancing, and a chest with 370 Cole. Head back towards the gray log, this time hopping up onto the raised path and moving west over the gray logs. You can get rid of the shrubs in your way to head south to a chest with 370 Cole inside. You can examine the barrels on the next screen for items, and also find replenishing Big Log. You'll see a chest we simply can't reach yet, but there will also be one we can, with 300 Cole inside. If you continue southwest of the chest, you can find replenishing Old Smoking, as well as the glowing pillars we saw in the game's opening. Very curious... Heading back to the northeast will find us a tent area to heal and save, which is a good thing since Zeldalia lives right inside this house! Inside, we'll find Norn, as well as Zeldalia. Delsus will get shot down again, and Zeldalia scolds Klein's apparent illiteracy, unlike his grandma. She challenges Klein to prove his worth against Norn. Norn brings back up, though, in the form of seven Punis, one Master Puni, and herself. The Master Puni can heal, and use Punis to block your attacks, so try to take it or the Punis out fast with attacks that can hit a large area. Then you're just left with Norn, who has a MagicalStaff that damages both HP and MP, as well as a Sleep spell. If the spell is really annoying you, just remember that Klein's Cane can offer protection against Sleep effects. Without her friends, she's not that hard. After the fight, Zeldalia will hand Daphne's Book back to Klein, mentioning that she only did this because Daphne wanted her to be sure Klein would be okay and a good alchemist. Once she sees that Klein has found more than one Mana in his travels, and mentions the Lineage of Iris, she'll assign Norn to be a part of our team! The scene will move back inside of Zeldalia's house, and she'll suggest we revisit Iris' Resting Place, and the pedestals Klein saw earlier. Make sure to talk to Iris right afterwards, as she will then give you a choice between the Living Item skill, and an Ether Bulb we can use in Mana Synthesis. It is up to you which one to choose, so feel free to try one out, and reload your save to try the other. Maybe Zeldalia will let us have the other one later, so I wouldn't worry too much... Before leaving, talk to Nyaron the cat, who's up on the second floor, to get a new shop opened. I strongly suggest purchasing "Magic in 7 days" if nothing else, as Veola could certainly use it. Outside, you can find a yellow sphere which has a lot of Light Elements in it, as well as an Ancient Mask! Now make your way back to Iris' Resting Place. The first time you get in a fight on the way, the game will explain how the Change command works. Also, party members who do not actively take a role in the fight, will only get half of the experience. Still better than nothing! Back in Iris' Resting Place, return to the pedestals, and Klein will manage to turn the lights on thanks to his three Mana. He'll also deactivate a forcefield that was previously blocking a door. To get to it, go southeast, northeast, northwest, north, northwest up the steps, southwest, and northwest up some more steps. Get past that broken sphere, and... the door won't open! Once Lita inspects it, however, her and Klein will be teleported inside. A winged Lita will be clearly visible, and while Lita tries to hide herself, Klein will find Iris Blanchimont's diary. It is quickly found out that Lita is an artificially made person, and that with her Ruby Prism removed, she'll probably die soon. The party decides it's best to visit Zeldalia again and find out what to do next. Before doing so, you can reenter the room for replenishing Small Gear, Large Gear, and Broken Handle. Back at Zeldalia's, Lita will take a bath, which will let us see the Mana Bath and Mana Protection tutorials. The plan is to recapture the Ruby Prism from Mull, but before much thought can be given to that, Arlin will appear. He'll challenge Klein to a fight, and pretty much no matter what you try, he'll destroy you in one blow, saying you could never defeat Mull if you can't beat him. Klein will have some flashbacks of Lita, and decide he'll just make a Ruby Prism. He'll also apparently remember he wanted to go to Avenberry in the first place. ^^; Arlin will join the party, and the group will decide Kavoc is the best place to ask around. Of course, it's never that easy. On the way back out of the woods through Iris' Resting Place, the group will be sucked up into a dimensional rift! Luckily, they'll meet Paka the fairy, who will spend three days teaching Klein how to use Weapon Synthesis. He'll also supply us with an anvil for our Base, and a Weapon Synthesis tutorial! You'll also find Pattet the fairy, who's opened up a shop, and you can find replenishing Lando, Red Legien, Big Pumpkin, and Comet Stone around. There's also Blue Mana, Green Mana, Glowing Mana, Black Mana, Red Mana, Yellow Mana, and a Speedster! Quite a haul! You'll also get a direct warp back to Kavoc. Now, before doing anything in Kavoc, leave town and head to the Lapis Woods. Pamela is there, and she has a bit of a crush on Arlin! He'll reject her, but it will be okay, since he'll die eventually. Over in Lake Forwel, Gemlis will trade us a Mountain Fish for some of the Ale from the Wild Moss Bar. Norn also seems to enjoy raw fish, we'll find out. Now go back to Kavoc, and head towards the Magic Shop. If you bought the "Magic In 7 Days" book, Yach'll show up to ask Klein to teach him to be an alchemist. He'll read the book in a few moments as opposed to a week, and we'll still have the book afterwards, so why not give it to Veola? Lita's getting jealous... When I visited Norman, he had a Jaja Bowl ready to be Shop Synthesized, though I'm not sure if it's a condition of getting this far in the game or just a happy coincidence. Turns out Lita's addicted to Sweet Lando, though. Enter your Base, and everyone will go off on their separate ways for naps, errands, or training practice. It seems Arlin might have a physical condition, perhaps like Lita's... His Mana certainly isn't helping us out any. Lita'll try to flirt with dense Klein, and then the party minus Delsus will set out to locate him. It appears he's been getting drunk with another fairy, Pilke, and hitting on chicks. Pilke will give us a job to do, however, which is getting the Super Puni Ball from the Puni God! Sounds fun. Back outside, you can find Oscar the fugitive chef, who can sell you some interesting ingredients as well as offering some Shop Synthesis. Talking to Norman again may trigger another mission, where he asks us to find and bring back some Frozen Rain, so he can start to serve some sashimi. Finally, head towards the Magic Shop to run into Rurona. She'll give us an update on the Flawless Marvel, before running off to parts unknown. Head through the Lapis Woods, and follow the path past the Tower of Airfen, then head west and you'll reach the Puni God. It's really hard to miss it, considering it is the large, blue Puni-shaped object. When you arrive, the Puni God will speak, saying that you can trust it, and that it won't try to eat you. So, grab some replenishing Red Peppers, and the pouch with 280 Cole inside, save if you'd like, and head inside! I personally think the insides of the Puni God's stomach are rather awesome, but the party disagrees. Head northeast, southeast, northeast and northwest. You'll soon encounter the three Puni Brothers, Puni Taro, Puni Jiro, and Puni Kichi, who are really just average Punis. Once you defeat them, you'll receive Frozen Rain. Might want to save it to bring back to Norman! You may encounter them again in your travels here, so just beat them up each time for an item. Continue along the path, diverging when you can to reach a chest with Dragon Fangs. Go southwest, grab the replenishing Puniball or Aqua Snowbug, go all the way around the bend, then jump over the black crystal for a Dark Mana. Further ahead, you can get replenishing Puniball, and to the north is a chest with a Love Gem, for Mana Synthesis! Guess this means Punis are full of love. ^^ Travel west, hopping over the black crystal for a chest with a Fairy Claw inside. Fall off the path up ahead to get to the Dark Mana. Hop back up, move east, and hop over the black crystals and replenishing Puniball to find a pouch with 1940 Cole! Jump back over, move east, north, and over to the west, to face the Super Puni! If you want a lot of Cole, be sure to defeat the Golden Punis first, then you can take out the Red Punis and focus all your attacks on the Super Puni. He can use Overdrive to get stronger, but otherwise, he's just a Puni. For a Puni, he's rather tough, but Punis are some of the weakest monsters in the world, so he'll accept his fate and vanish. Now you can take the Super Puni Balls and head back to Kavoc! Bear in mind, you can walk right out of the opening the Super Puni was guarding, as long as you don't want to think about just where you're exiting... Head back to the Wild Moss Bar in Kavoc, and give Pilke the Super Puni Ball. He will be rather happy, and will give us the Gust Sphere. He'll also do us a favor in the future, from what it sounds like! Now we can get started on tracking down the mirrors. Talk to Lyla, in the Grocery Store, and she will mention someone from the Weapon Shop was asking about us. If you head there, you'll see Rurona using a Mana as a stepladder. We could sure use that for some of these chests in town... Inside the Weapon Shop, Hagel will ask us to head to Arcose, to pick up a mineral for him. The party decides this isn't a bad idea, and we'll see a glimpse of Poto's Forest, and the exit we were never allowed to take. Apparently that's where Arcose is, so let's get going! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2D. To Arcose and Locations Beyond ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Items: 320 Cole, 340 Cole, 370 Cole x 2, Ancient Mask, Comet Stone x 2, Dark Mana x 2, Edge Cast, Glowing Mana, Hulking Smasher, Large Gear, Me,Myself&Bomb, Ore, Phoenix Tail, Picture Diary, Poison Blade, Red Legien x 2, Red Mana x 2, Red Pants, Small Gear, Star Piece, Sylvan Ring. Make your way to Poto's Forest, and out the eastern side. Follow the path, and take a detour to the Mine we encounter on the way. Hop down the ledges all the way, helping yourself to replenishing Red Legien if you wish, then go east and into the building. Ignore the inspector, and help yourself to the pouches for Red Legien and Large Gear. Go back outside, and make your way up the ledges, grabbing replenishing Mini Pendelook on the way. At the top, enter the building and you'll find that it's empty, with its owner Hute currently elsewhere looking for more supplies. Leave the Mine, and continue to the south, and you will eventually see Arcose! You'll bump into Lector, who seems to have a thing for kitty ears... ^^; Once she leaves, take not of the tent spot slightly north of you, and help yourself to replenishing Nue. As you head up to the higher parts of town, enter the building to the west. This is where you'll meet Villa, and she'll soon ask us to find her missing sister in the Alexia Cave, named Hute. It seems we'll have to find her to get Hagel's mineral supplies, so we don't have much choice! The new destination will be a very, very long trek up to the north on our world map from what the directions showed us. Before leaving, we should continue to explore Arcose! Next door to Villa, you'll find Blaire, who apparently wants to really get back at someone. You can engage in Shop Synthesis with her, though, so who knows what you'll make! Haan is next door to Blaire, and he sells some unusual items. The tree outside has replenishing Karikari Nuts and Garigari Nuts as well. Higher up the stairs, you'll find a portal back to the Fairy World and the forge there! This means we can conveniently use this shortcut to teleport between towns. Don't forget to get the Dark Mana, as well as the 340 Cole in a pouch right below it, before hopping in! In the Fairy World, you'll have access to the shop, and Paka will ask that you bring him five of the same color Legien Stones. With five Red Legiens, he'll give you three Black Manas, so we'll just have to see what better Legiens brings as a reward. In any case, our next goal is outside of Arcose, and following the road to the northeast of town as it heads to the Valiant Path. Right as you enter, Delsus will show us that the path we want towards Alexia Cave is just a few steps to the west. However, that would mean ignoring the neat things we can find inside the Valiant Path. There are Growloons to smash, and mana synthesis items! If you want to continue on and ignore the place, you may, but I'm going in, so just skip ahead! Hop up on the bridge, and get past the sign to smack the Growloon out of your way. Drop down, and walk to the east, and you can easily destroy another Growloon. Now go back west. See the faint little bubbles in the lava? That will help you know just where you can actually jump out over the lava, to try to land on other platforms. Jump, making sure to destroy the Growloon on the way down, then jump to the next ledge. The pouch contains an Ancient Mask. Walk to the east, and hop over to the chest which contains the Mark of Courage, a great Mana Synthesis item for those who dislike being killed by monsters. Jump back across, and bash the Growloon that blocks your path. Move east, and jump the two platforms. Don't try to skip the middle one, as you'll just get burned. The next jump I found to be one of the hardest to make. If you get burned, there is a chance you can jump in the time between getting burned, and the second burn that will occur. That makes the gap much easier to cross. There's a Growloon by the black crystals, which we can't get to, but you can go to the west, and then hop into the lava for a Red Mana. That's it for the Valiant Path for now, so either head out and go heal up then come back, or continue along the road now to Alexia Cave. When you get there, you'll see Villa's sister, trapped behind a Growloon! Now you just have to get there. Walk east, get the replenishing Red Legien, ELE EXTRACT the Growloon you come up to, then go under the bridge and head north. Get past the rocks, getting another replenishing Red Legien, then climb the ledges to the north to get a Poison Blade. Before going up the crates to kill the Growloon, head over the floating bits of stone to the southeast, as you'll meet up with Diemia, the Mana of stone! Be sure to watch the Stepping Stone tutorial, as it will be the key to getting some of those annoying treasures we've passed by so far in the game! Now go ahead back, climb up to beat up the Growloon and get some replenishing Fest Stone and Fest Rock, then make your way east over the rocks, get the replenishing Rock Sugar, and go to the next screen. All the way to the east is replenishing Mini Pendelook. Grab it, then hop over the lava pool, and make your way down the stairs. Klein will find a closed door with a draft coming out of it, but it doesn't seem we can do anything with it yet. So, head east, grabbing replenishing Rock Sugar, and using the tent if you would like to. Continue down the stairs, jump around the side of the lava pool, and open the chest further down for a Red Mana. Continue west to the next screen. Here, Klein will have a flashback involving his new Mana. Go ahead, use him as a stepping stone, after you get the replenishing Gold Legien, Comet Stone, and the pouch with 370 Cole. Just walk across the bridge, smack the last Growloon, and you'll rescue Hute! You can easily exit Alexia Cave by dropping down on top of the nearby rock, and meeting Villa to the west. You'll get Hagel's Ore, as well as two Comet Stones! You can also shop at Hute's store in the Mine, and get another pouch with Red Legien and Small gear in the storage shed. Make the long trip back to Arcose, and heal up and such. Enter the first house, and talk to the old woman inside, to find out just how desperate Lector is about petting Norn! She's really scaring me now... Anyway, since we have Diemia, we're going to take some time to make some of those annoying "I can't reach that item!" situations go away. Climb up to the top of Arcose, and summon Diemia near the anchor. If you hop up, you'll be able to nab a Dark Mana. The other one we'll have to leave where it is for now. Go use the Fairy World teleport to get back to Kavoc in a jiffy! Head towards the crates behind Oscar. With a stepping stone boost, you can get up on the crates, run across the rooftop to get the replenishing Snowbug, and climb the ladder to open a chest with an Edge Cast inside. Delsus'll thank you! If you enter the Kavoc Sewers, you can go straight ahead, around the bend, and past the purple crystals to a stack of black crystals. Careful placing of Diemia will let you vault over, however, and get the chest with an Obake Bag for Mana Synthesis! Getting back over is a lot simpler. Next stop, Iris' Resting Place. While you can use Diemia to hop up to the conveyor belt area, for a small short cut, we want to head over towards the Furnace. There will be a gap in the rock wall where we can hop up on, with a well-placed Mana that is, to reach a small nook with some goodies. One chest has a useful Cure Jar for Mana Synthesis, and the other has a Sylvan Ring. You can also smack the Growloon to add to your total. You can also head to the area by Iris's workshop, and use Diemia twice to grab a replenishing Golden Handle. We can't get any further up there just yet, we're too big, but we'll just have to return later on as well. Our last stop on the tour for now is Zeldalia's house, in Poto's Forest. Luckily, we're close by. The chest we want is right on top of the pumpkin in her yard, and opening it will give us some Unholy Water to make Klein's Mana Synthesis even more useful! That's it for now, unfortunately, so just go back to Kavoc and Hagel at the Weapon Shop, who is so happy he'll sing you a little song! He'll also give us a Star Piece, thankfully. Go back to the base for a brainstorming session, and to see a scene showing Mull is making a lot more progress than we are... Head towards the Cathedral, and you'll see Beggur arguing with the redhead that Lita met in Lapis Woods, Marietta. She just got thrown out of Alkavana, from what it looks like. Our plans are delayed further because Norn wants something to eat, so it's time for Delsus to show us his cooking skills. Norn will wander off for something a bit quicker to eat, and of course, she gets kidnapped while doing so. Head down into the Kavoc Sewers, to the east of that electrified floor we can't get past yet, and you'll find Beggur and Norn. A teleport from Arlin later, and we'll have Norn back, with Beggur and his friends running away in retreat! Pursue them to the east, jumping down the steps then taking a log ride to the northeast. Up ahead is a secret exit into the Cathedral, where we'll be ambushed. They even brought a pig with them! I would recommend targeting Tonta first, as he is rather weak, and can defend Neun if you attack her. Neun should be the next one to go, as her Heal Area can, well, heal everything in an area around her. That means everything but your party, so you'll want to get rid of that as soon as possible. Plus, she's not that high in the HP department either. Drei is next, as he has some annoying physical attacks, and he's brought food for healing with him too. After that, you just have an annoying Vier and Beggur to defeat, though Vier has less HP so you might want to take her out next. Before you know it, Alkavana's latest attack is completely defeated, and the party will just stroll back to Base after some dizziness on Arlin's part. At this point, it's obvious the party didn't bother telling Arlin the full riddle of Henmil's Gate, as the moment he hears it he suggests a destination for us to try, the Cleft of Nelvia. Problem is, we need to get past Fort Galga, but Pilke is going to repay that favor to us now, and try to assist with that. If you've forgotten, Fort Galga is to the north of Lake Forwel. However, this is also a good time to do a few side quests. Speaking of Lake Forwel, it was at this time that the old man in the town's only house, Zazzy, mentioned trying to get a letter from his grandson, but it hasn't arrived yet. I also took this time to visit Lector at the Collector's Caravan. When I did so, she finally got to pet Norn's ears, but we received Lector's List. There's also a Mana Statue here! Nymph the water Mana will now be part of the team, yay! We'll also get the Barrier tutorial, as well as the appropriate ability, so electrified areas or pits of lava are now easier to handle. Head back to Kavoc, if you had that event with Zazzy, to hear that a ship was robbed on the way to Lake Forwel! They're hiding in Poto's Forest, apparently. If you don't have that event, don't worry, go to Kavoc anyway and just head into the Kavoc Sewers to get the chest past the electrified floor, for a Glowing Mana. To pursue the thieves, enter the Poto's Forest from the Arcose side. Going through Iris' Resting Place won't trigger the event. As you arrive, you'll find a Thief, Rogue, and Master Thief, who are the ones responsible. Dispatch them, as they're rather easy, and you'll get a Picture Diary. Bring it back to Zazzy in Lake Forwel for a Phoenix Tail! It's also around this time that I found a chest in our Base with Red Pants inside it, and Veola at the Magic Shop gave me a quest to seek out Glow Stained from around the Spring of Nelvia. We're heading near there anyway, so why not? At Fort Galga, you'll find that nothing is ever easy for Klein and company. Pilke is there, with a pair of chickens, but none of the other fairies have shown up yet. Plus, you need to simply "take out" all of the cannons. At least there's a handy tent area nearby, Pilke'll just keep them distracted as we rest. Climb up the ladder to the west of the tent spot, and you'll get into a fight with a Thief and Rogue. There are tougher enemies than this just wandering about, so they're no big deal. After they're defeated, run up the stairs to the west, jump the conveyor belts, and engage the two Thieves, a Rogue, and a Master Thief. Head up another flight, and hop over the black crystal, conveyor belt, and crates, and you'll have a Thief, Rogue, and Master Thief to beat up. With the enemies out of the way, be sure to open the chest with an Aeroangel, for another Mana Synthesis option! Climb back down, heal and save if you want, then head up the ladder to the east. Take out the Thief and Master Thief, grab the replenishing Belgrade Potato and Carrot if you're so inclined, then continue up the tower past the conveyor belts to fight two Archers, two Gunners, and a Heavy Metal. They can cause a surprising amount of damage if you just let them hit you, so it's best to take them all out in a round or so. Examine the nearby barrel for an item, then advance to the top to face a Rogue, Master Thief, and Mercenary. Once these foes are gone, all the cannons will be disabled, and Pilke's syndicate of partying fairies will storm the gates of Fort Galga. Don't forget to open the chests for a Hulking Smasher and Me,Myself&Bomb, and help yourself to what the barrels are offering. Climb up the middle ladder where the gate used to be, then examine the barrel to the west and climb up the ladder. A Rogue and Master Thief will try to stop you, but I'd be surprised if you didn't beat them up within a round. Head back down, examine the barrel to the east, and climb up the ladder. A Thief and a Rogue will be your next opponents. Climb back down, go to the ladder in the center, and scale it. The ladder to the west will result in a fight with a Thief, Master Thief, two Gunners, and a Mercenary. The eastern ladder has a Gunner, Rogue, Mercenary, and two Heavy Metals. If you've taken out all of these enemies, Klein will blast down the logs blocking the final ladder. Mr Brigand seems to be running the Fort. All the rumors about the hundred men it's manned by are just that, rumors, and there seems to only be fifty. Though I thought we fought even less than that... Mr Brigand fights like a Master Thief with higher HP, and he has two Gunners and four Wolves with him. Take out his helpers, and then just smack him up while he keeps trying to heal, and the fight will be done before you know it. Afterwards, be sure to take the pouches to the west with 320 Cole and 370 Cole, then climb all the way down and go east to the World Map. *TO BE CONTINUED* ~~~~~~~~ 3. Lists ~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~ 3A. Shop Synthesis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shop Synthesis is when you allow certain shop owners to make you items, based on recipes they provide, and whatever concoctions and alternative ingredients you come up with. I'm still trying to hammer down just what the rewards are for Shop Synthesis, if there is one other than the items gained, and so this particular list is going to be very minor and rough to start, with just how to make the highest quality version of an item that I've found so far. Also, for Veola and Norman at least, you can visit their shops several times to improve your relationship with that shop owner, which according to Popo, is a good thing! Norman seems to react well to Veola being visited often, and Veola does give you many more scenes from what I've seen so far. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shop | Recipe | Ingredients | Result ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaire's | Baking | Fresh Smoking, | Baking Powder (+65 QLTY. Growloons ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you'll find out early in the game, the citizens of Kavoc really dislike the Growloons. These blue and white balloon-monsters just float around, causing the local area to be packed with harder monsters. Not only are Growloons good for Elemental Extraction, but defeating enough of them can give your team better rankings and rewards! Here I've listed those rankings and rewards, as well as the locations where you can find Growloons to beat in the first place. ------------------------------------------------ Rank | Kills | Rewards ------------------------------------------------ Rookie | 1 | None ------------------------------------------------ Smalltime Hero | 4 | 1600 Cole, Dark Mana. ------------------------------------------------ Growloon Hunter | 9 | 2500 Cole, Black Mana. ------------------------------------------------ Deputy Galgazit | 15 | 3600 Cole, Red Mana. ------------------------------------------------ ??? | 22 | ??? ------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------- # | Location ------------------------------------------- 1 | Lapis Woods. ------------------------------------------- 2-4 | Field southeast of Outdoor Theater. ------------------------------------------- 5 | Iris' Resting Place, up the stairs | from the Furnace. Jump to the north, and hit | the Growloon blocking the path. ------------------------------------------- 12-14 | Alexia Cave. The first is to the | east of the entrance. Then go | underneath the bridge, move up past | the rocks, and climb the crates to | the north to find the second one. | The last one is found right before | rescuing Hute. ------------------------------------------- 15 | Iris' Resting Place. Collector's Caravan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Relatively early in the game, your party will meet Lector at the Collector's Caravan, and be given help to progress in the game in exchange for showing Lector various items you find. Not only do you get 100 Cole for each one you show her, but you'll also gradually unlock various Bonus options from the main title screen! Here are the special collections Lector will open up as the game advances, what items you need to complete it, and the Bonus earned from doing so. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Collection | Items | Bonus Unlocked ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 150+ Items | Any 150 or more items | Gallery: Art01. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the | Phoenix Quill, Phoenix | Sound Gallery: Moment of Wind, Phoenix | Tail. | Sound Gallery: Night Together. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bread Sword | ???, ???, ???. | ??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cleaning Kit | Wax, Flax Cloth, ???. | ??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Green Power | ???. | ??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hard Food | Big Pumpkin, Hard | Sound Gallery: Revelation | Carrot, Garigari Nuts. | Introduction, Sound Gallery: | | Shopping in Kavoc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kid Leader | ???, ???, ???. | ??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Life's Gift | Palm Fish, ???. | ??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lita's Fav | Animal Paw, ???. | ??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Norn's Fav | Milk, ???. | ??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Player's Kit | Pretty Stained, Gogo | ??? | Suit, ???. | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sashimi Plater | Red Sashimi, White | Sound Gallery: Lakeside. | Sashimi, Black Sashimi. | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sweet Fruit | Sweet Lando, Lovely | Sound Gallery: Midnight Illusion, | Lando, Tingleberry. | Sound Gallery: A Genesis. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Too small! | ???, ???. | ??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Travel Kit | Klein's Cane, Medicine. | Character Introduction: Klein, | | Gallery: Klein. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Triple Mushroom | Fresh Dancing, Fresh | Sound Gallery: Forest of Innocence, | Smoking, Fresh Poison. | Sound Gallery: City of Bells. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Underwear | Red Pants, ???, ???. | ??? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~~~~~~~~~ 3I. Monsters ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Few games of adventure and discovery can get very far without any sort of conflict. Here will be listed everything I can find out about the monsters I've encountered, such as their stats, their attacks, and their item drops. I have also listed what candy item they will turn into if Turn 2 candy is used on them successfully. The second listed item drop seems to be the rarer of the two. It seems some monsters may not appear in the Monster Manual, so I've tried to be as accurate as possible. If I don't see a specific monster use a specific attack, it won't be listed, so be cautious! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name | HP | Mana | Element | EXP | Cole | Attacks/Notes ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archer | 88 | 74 | 6 Fire | 36 | 63C | Aim, Flaming Arrow, Reverse | | | | | | Arrow, Becomes Astral | | | | | | Crackers candy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Baby Pig | 36 | 12 | 3 Fire | 6 | 4C | Appear, Desire, Hide, | | | | | | Tackle, Drops Wild Meat, | | | | | | Becomes Dog Candy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Banshee | 8 | 120 | 8 Spirit | 17 | 16C | Air Slash, Energy Drain, | | | | | | Fear, Drops Swimsuit, Drops | | | | | | Scandal Bikini, Becomes | | | | | | Sour Block candy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beggur | 577 | ??? | 3 Stone | 220 | 440C | DragonThunderStrike, For | | | | | | Justice!.
