Thrill Kill Throw/Kills FAQ Written by BoneDrag bigsexyets@hotmail.com INTRODUCTION\DISCLAIMER Thrill Kill is the name of the game created by the twisted folks at Paradox and Virgin for the Playstation home console. The game raised controversy in the media for being a so-called "child corruptor". Because of the game's mature theme, and graphic content, it was cancelled by Electronic Arts upon their acquisition of Virgin Entertainment. This is a faq written for the Beta test version of the game, and I claim no responsibiity for any illegal actions the reader of this document may commit for purchasing this game. This was written from demo displays of the game at the Atlanta E3 exposition, and through the assistance of guides written for the game by various Playstation magazines. All illegal actions taken by you, the reader, are your own responsibility. KEYS: B-Back F-Forward D-Down U-Up HCF-Half Circle Forward QCF-Quarter Circle Forward 360-Full Circle Motion (Because there is no jump motion, all keypad presses can be in the direction you choose. So a QCF is the same from Left to Up on the D-pad as Left to down.) Square, [] button = Left Punch (LP) Triangle, /\ button = Right Punch (RP) X, X button = Left Kick (LK) Circle, O button = Right Kick (RK) L1 button = Duck L2 button = Block Both Right buttons = Right Throw (RT) Both Left Buttons = Left Throw (LT) Universal Moves []+O is the Swap Throw. This move is handy for trading places with an opponent. This is quite useful when trying to evade someone trying to kill you. /\+O when behind an opponent is the hold throw. When in a multi-player game, this throw will cause your character to grab the arms of an opponent from behind. This gives any other player the opportunity to get in a few cheap shots while you hold him\her back. The best thing about this throw is that both characters atacking recieve kill strength to their kill bars. Kills Once your kill bar is full, your character will be lifted off the ground in a stream of red hellish energy, knocking all characters around you into the walls. The object now is to choose a character you want to kill and get within throwing distance of him while pushing one of the four keypad buttons. Be quick about it though. If your kill meter runs out before you can grab an opponent, you will no longer be able to perform a kill until you refill your bar. Although there are variations of each button, the death is the same for whichever button you push. Pushing each button near an opponent while you are in Kill mode gives you a different Kill. X button..... Your character will smack the opponent into the wall killing them instantly, and leaving their dead carcass stuck to the wall. [] button.... Your character will perform a Blackout combo, beating the opponent to a pulp until they spew out a stream of blood, clutch their stomach and fall lifeless to the floor. /\ button.... Your character will hit the opponent, knocking their head off toward the ceiling, at which point you will get a slow-motion closeup of the head in flight. The head falls to the ground and your character celebrates amid the pools of blood. O button..... Your character hits the opponent so hard they shoot into the ceiling (or the stratosphere) leaving a raining mass of blood falling onto your opponent as they celebrate another homicide. Once you have eliminated all opponents except one, you get a treat. Instead of the normal kill powers bestowed upon you, you get a Thrill Kill power. The camera circles around your character and a moment later, your character is struck by lightning from above and lifted off the ground trembling at the power they now possess. Once they fall back to Earth, you must again get within throwing distance of your opponent and press a button on your keypad. To get different Thrill Kills, you must press and hold down certain buttons while the camera circles your character. Once your character is hit by lightning, you can let go of the controls. Each character has a default Thrill Kill that can be done without any buttons being pressed during the camera circling. Characters *************** Tormentor *************** THROWS Neck Slice: LT Punishment Knee: RT Nutcracker: B,F,B + /\ THRILL KILLS Chain Decapitation: Default Tormentor whips off his opponents head with his chain. Body Splitter: /\+O Tormentor whips his chain around his opponent's waist and violently yanks on the chain, ripping the opponent in half. Raising Hell: []+O+Up Tormentor summons four chains from off screen that grab the opponents limbs and yank until he\she is left dying on the ground, leg and armless Thrill Kill Combo: O+X+L1+Left Fever Dance: O+X+[]+/\+Right *************** Oddball *************** THROWS Buttswap: LT Neck Twister: RT Neck Breaker: HCF+[] Donkey Kick: B,F,[]+X Knee Breaker: HCF+X THRILL KILLS Kickoff: Default Oddball jumps high into the air and comes down on his opponent's head, stomps on their face three times, and kicks it toward the camera. Sit and Spin: L1+Left Oddball jumps onto his opponents shoulders like in his Neck Twister throw, but instead of a half rotation, he rotates 2 full turns, wrenching his opponent's head off. Corkscrew: []+O+X Oddball kicks his opponent high into the air and during their descent he leaps into the air after them spinning his head into the opponent's body shattering them into many pieces. Thrill Kill Combo: O+X+L1+Right Buttbump Dance: []+O+X+L1+Up *************** Belladonna *************** THROWS Crotch Crush: LT Slap & Tickle: RT Self Shock: When close, hold /\, release Triple Attack: 360+O THRILL KILLS Choke the Prod: Default Belladonna shoves the cattle prod down her opponent's throat and electrocutes them until they fall dead at her feet. Do It Yourself: X+Left Belladonna hands her opponent the prod at coaxes them into electrocuting themselves to death. Thril Kill Combo: /\+X+L1 Aneracam Dance: []+/\+O+X+L1 *************** Dr. Faustus *************** THROWS Surgery: LT Turn Around Slap: RT 1000 Stabs: HCF+/\ THRILL KILLS Mad Doctor: Default Dr. Faustus jumps onto his opponent's chest and chews off their head. Plastic Surgery: []+L1 Faustus starts to work on his opponent's face until they are equipped with their very own metal jaws. Shake & Spit: O+X+Down Faustus grabs his opponent by the head and shakes them wildly until they are decapitated. Thrill Kill Combo:[]+/\+L1+Right Ballet Dance: []+/\+X+L1+Left *************** Imp *************** THROWS Stilt To The Head: LT Tiny Slams: RT Knee To The Head:B,F,[]+X Stilt Spin:B,F,/\+O THRILL KILLS Stilt To The Head: Default Imp grabs his opponent and shoves a stilt through their face. Body Possesion: []+Down Imp jumps down his opponent's mouth and moment's later the victim screams as his body is blown apart from the inside. Now Who's Tiny?: /\+X+Right Imp throws magical dust on his opponent, causing them to shrink. Then he smashes them under his stilt. Thrill Kill Combo: []+X+L1+Left Rump Shaka Dance: []+/\+O+X+Down *************** Violet *************** THROWS Private Pounder: LT Violet Grab: RT (Causes game to glitch and freeze sometimes) Twister: From Violet Grab, []+X Neck Roll: From Violet Grab, O, then []+X THRILL KILLS Spinal Adjustment: Default Um, ouch. Violet practices the ultimate spinal realignment technique. Too weird to describe. Twister Kill: []+/\+X Violet messes up your back and neck real bad. Another that you have to see. Thrill Kill Combo: []+O+L1+Down Snake Dance: []+/\+O+L1+Up *************** Mammoth *************** THROWS Triple Fist: LT Coconut Grab: RT Banana Slamma: HCF+O Gone Bowling: B,F,([]+X) THRILL KILLS The Big Punch: Default Mammoth does a huge windup and knocks the opponent's upper torso right off their legs. Self Beating: /\+Up Mammoth rips off his opponent's arms and beats 'em with them. Merry-go-round: []+O+Down Mammoth grabs his opponent by the legs and spins them around until the centrifugal(?) force causes the legs to rip off. Mammoth then beats his chest (legs in hands still) and tosses away the legs. Thrill Kill Combo: []+/\+X+Up THIS IS SO BRUTAL!!!!! YOU THINK MORTAL KOMBAT WAS BAD? THIS KILL ALONE MAKES MK LOOK LIKE SESAME STREET! Monkey Dance: []+O+X+/\+L1 *************** CLEETUS *************** THROWS Arm on the cob: LT Filet of Calf: RT Lip Lunch: B,F,([]+X) THRILL KILLS Feasting: Default Cleetus eats his lunch. Fountain of You: /\+L1 Another Yummy One. New Toy: []+/\+L1 Cleetus decides that his nasty old leg isn't half as nice as the one on your body, so he rips it off. Well, they say the leg is always bloodier on the other side of the fence. Oh wait, that's grass is always greener. OOPS. Thrill Kill Combo: []+O+Right+Down Victory Dance: /\+X+L1+Left+Down OKAY, THE NEXT THREE CHARACTERS ARE OBTAINED BY BEATING THE GAME ONCE WITH ANY OF THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS. Deception: X+L1+Right Marukka pretends to die, and your opponent walks away. Marukka does a zombie- like levitation trick and kills them. Bwahahahaha..ha..ah, um sorry bout that. It's Better In A Hell Hole: O+X+L1+Left Marukka pushes her opponent into a hell hole and blood spews out after she jumps in afterwards.
