Introduction and Version History Street Fighter EX 2 Plus is the follow up to 1997's Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha on the PlayStation. It is your typical port of the Arcade game, along with some of the extras that were included in the first PlayStation version. It requires and uses 1 Super Combo Gauge level to perform, and it can be performed by pressing a punch and kick button of the same strength (i.e. HP + HK). ======= =Excel= ======= New to SFEX2 is the Excel. When the Excel is activated, normal and super moves can be canceled into other moves for several seconds, like the "Custom Combo" from Street Fighter Alpha 2 and 3. Excel requires and uses 1 Super Combo Gauge level, and it can be performed by pressing a punch and kick button of different strengths (i.e. HP + MK). During an Excel, Super Combos and Guard Breaks cannot be performed. ============= =Super Combo= ============= Just like SFEX, the Super Combo is here. Each character has multiple Super Combos to choose from, and each one requires and uses 1 Super Combo Gauge level. ============= =Meteo Combo= ============= New to SFEX2 is the Meteo Combo, a super-damaging combo that connects much like a Super Combo. Each character has his or her own Meteo Combo, and it takes all 3 Super Combo Gauge Levels to perform. ========= =Cancels= ========= In SFEX2, there are three types of cancels available: - Cancel - This is the standard cancel of a regular move (Punch, Kick) into a Special Move. Not all moves can be canceled into Special Moves, and vice versa. - Super Cancel - While a Super Combo is in progress, a different Super Combo can be performed (given the restrictions of that combo), resulting in a Super Cancel. IV. Expert Mode Mission Solutions
Since a good number of the combos in Expert Mode require incredibly precise
timing (bordering on inhuman timing for some missions), I proudly present
the incredibly cheap way to pass Expert Mode for those of you with slower
hands: the Interact ProgramPad. Circa 1997, this pad accepts programmed
commands assigned to a single button. Even if you don't have a ProgramPad,
these charts should show you exact timing and commands for completing every
single Expert Mode mission (eventually), as (if I recall correctly), the
ProgramPad sends commands to the PSX in 1/12 of a second intervals.
Unless otherwise specified, each of these attacks should be performed with
the opponent in the corner, and at immediate range (as close as you can
possibly move).
Not every mission can be perfectly programmed into the ProgramPad due to its
length. In these cases, the commands are split into two or more segments
that can be programmed. Of course, you'll have to time the hits properly.

Complete all available Rank E Missions in Expert Mode for the first 20
characters

On the main menu screen:
Move the cursor to "Arcade" and press Start 3 times,
Move the cursor to right to "Practice" and press Start 2 times, and
Move the cursor to down to "Director" and press Start 3 times.
--Unlock 2 More Bonus Games (Excel and Satellite Fall)--
Complete all available Rank D Missions in Expert Mode for the first 20
