Street Fighter Collection 2 Extras FAQ V1.0 (Jan. 27, 1999) By Fury (dbuel@tampatrib.com) For free use only, copyright reserved This short little FAQ exists namely to answer two questions: One, are there any hidden extras in Street Fighter Collection 2 for Sony PlayStation (why, yes there are), and two, what are they? This FAQ will not tell you how to play Street Fighter, how to excel at it and so on. Apologies. There are numerous other FAQs available for this purpose. The hidden extras in this game, or games, depending upon how you look at it, are simply listed below. __________ HIDDEN ART There is artwork already available to view in the game's "collection" mode, but there are two more sets of this artwork that must be earned. The player will note the unselectable squares in collection mode that are labeled as secret. By beating Street Fighter II: The World Warriors with any character on any setting, using any number of continues, extra color pictures become available on the World Warriors portion of collection mode. This set includes pictures of characters added later in the series, such as Cammy. By beating Street Fighter II: Champion Edition with any character on any setting, using any number of continues, extra pictures become available on the Champion Edition portion of collection mode. Most of these pictures are black-and-white conceptual drawings of the characters in the series. ____________ HIDDEN MUSIC By beating Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting with any character on any setting, using any number of continues, extra music becomes available in the Hyper Fighting portion of collection mode. This music consists of modern remixes of all the music from the three games. By beating any of the three games with any character on any setting, using any number of continues, this extra music is also selectable during that particular game from the options menu, i.e. by beating World Warriors the remix can be selected while playing World Warriors. When playing, there are new sound effects as well. __________________ DELUXE VERSUS MODE By beating all three games, Deluxe Versus Mode becomes available from the overall main menu. In Deluxe Versus Mode, two players can fight with characters from different games. For example, Champion Edition M. Bison can be matched against Hyper Fighting Ryu. (Note that characters from World Warriors have less moves but do more damage.) Also, the game speed can be selected from slow to much faster than Hyper Fighting's normal speed.
