Introduction TOWN Items - Mugwort x 3, Valerian Powder, Dagger Note: I will not list any key items because you are forced to get them and can not be missed. AFter Intro go to your house and sleep. I don't think anything is in the town. Run Northeast till you reach the Dream Man. You have to lose the fight. Watch some scenes and Receive Hunter's Earring. When dreaming beat the Pataimel just keep attacking it. Fight the dream man again and lose again. Watch some more scenes and receive the Flute of Capture and supplies (Mugwort X 3, Valerian Powder, Dagger). Recieve the Tears of Reese when you leave Garai's Home. Go find Lui at the Watchtower and receive the Beetle Key. You can explore the town and buy some supplies before going to the forest. Go to the Blacksmith or Town Shop and you can buy some new items. Blacksmith Knife - 50 Dagger - 100 Bronze Sword - 400 Leather Vest - 100 Chain Mail Vest - 100 Leather Hairband - 100 Town Shop Mugwort - 15 Shab Liqour - 50 Valerian Powder - 10 Nothing anywhere else. Go the Forest Gates on the far right is the Beetle Gate. --------------------------------------------- 2. Beetle Forest BEETLE FOREST Minions - Skawasp, Pataimel, Patalchu, Skaeeb, Patash, Mukhambu, Skwoot, Nushab, Terfrayd, Marrdreg Items - Knowledge 1, Shab Liqour, Knowledge 2, Knowledge 3, Aquazor, Meta-Mugwort x 4, Shab Liquor x 4, Iron Headband, Skeleton Key, Beetle Warp Once in the forest you will meet Koris the Blue Cocoon Master. Learn about Attack and Defense and continually disobey him to gain up to 20 Mugworts. Next learn about Capture and capture the Arpatron. Then leave and go back to Garai's Home and purify your cocoon. Don't forget to equip the minion or anything else you bought including the Dagger. Return to the Beetle Forest. Go North. Northwest. West and pick up Knowledge 1. North. West. Northeast pick up Shab Liqour in front of statue. Northwest. East pick up Knowledge 2. Take the Northwest. West. Northwest pick up Knowledge 3. North. North. West pick up Skeleton Key in front of fountain. Northeast. South then inside the hut is Aquazor. South then back North to fight the Masked boy this is optional. Back North to intersection then East. Get Beetle Warp near the Beetle Warp gate. Use the Beetle Warp and go North and then East at the intersection. You will have to press X to make the tree move shortly down the tunnel is a treasure chest (Iron Headband, Meta-Mugwort x 4, Shab Liqour x 4) which is opened by the skeleton key. Back to Intersection and go North to Koris's Hut. Talk to Koris and receive the Dragonfly key and go back to town. TOWN Items - None After talking to Garai you can roam the village. Talk to the Man in the Cemetary to learn that the Bird Man is weak against fire. The Blacksmith has new items and if you listen to him he tells you to go find his son for him. Talk to Kelmar a couple of times until it says Give Message. Return after beating the Dragonfly Forest for a reward. Dragonfly Forest DRAGONFLY FOREST Minions - Terfrayd, Marrdreg, Teralco, Hiralco, Riggu, Ohma, Terbeker, Mashkira, Frey, Ojiae Items - Magic Usage 2, Larva Key, Agni Seal1 x 5, Agni Seal2 x 3, Silver Crown, Chestnut Oil, Bletilla Oil, Tendai Uyaku, Knowledge 4, Skeleton Key x 2, Great Walnut, Kickleberry Go back to the Barrier forest when you are done in town. Go to the second door on the right. East. North. North. North pick up Kickleberry. Northwest. Northwest. North pick up Skeleton key in front of stone column. Northeast. West at the turn North is nothing but a Riggu. East at first turn. North. East at first. East and get treasure chest (Agni Seal1 x 5, Agni Seal2 x 3, Silver Crown) Go back and go to the second turn. Northwest. Northwest. North. North fight Poacher he has Goat minion (fire) and when you win you receive Great Walnut and Larva Key. Apparently he drops Iron Axe as well but I never received this weapon. Pick up the Magic Usage 2 he was standing next to. Go back until the very first intersection. North. North. Around spiral. North. Pick up Skeleton Key in front of you go East around and under the ledge. Press the button and go back and down the stairs to the West. Western door is just the Dragonfly Warp take the Eastern door. Press button in the center of square block. Back and to the middle door. Secret of Killing 1 is on the ground but do not pick it up Kikinak will come and take it. If you come back later in the game you will be able to take it, I'm not exactly sure when to come back and take it but it disappears before you finish Moth Forest. Go back to the spiral ramp and up it. West and down the steps to the treasure chest (Chestnut Oil, Bletilla Oil, Tendai Uyaku). Go back to the very first split and go up the ramp. Go across pick up Knowldge 4 and keep going North. When you come to a split go West and pick up Magic Usage 1 at the base of the statue. Go back and Northeast this time. Put the Larva Key in the hole in the rock. Neither side has anything except minions. Go forward. Save and keep going. Now you will fight Kikinak. He does not like fire so it is best to use a fire minion. He is also pretty fast and agile so it might be a good idea to not use Elemental attacks which miss more often. He isn't that hard and when you win he might drop a Great Walnut. Once you are done talking to him he gives you the Spider Key and Calabas Powder and then the Ocarina. You then go back to town. TOWN Items - Nagi Belt, Life Stealer Talk to Garai show Calabas Powder make sure to talk to Mahbu before leaving. She will give you a Nagi Belt. The Blacksmith and the Item Shop have new items and if you gave Kelmar the message he will give you the Life Stealer. Blacksmith Iron Sword - 1000 Little Bird - 2000 Silver Vest - 1200 Divine Vest - 2000 Silver Headband - 1500 Item Shop Fine Liqour - 100 Ikara Powder - 50 DRAGONFLY FOREST Items - Special Liqour x 2, Sleep Spores, Dragonfly Warp Head to the Dragonfly forest real quick and go past where you fought Kikinak and get the Dragonfly Warp. Also you can use the Ocarina to call Kikinak and fight him in the field you might get a Great Walnut if you win and you hear part of his story. He will sometimes drop a Great Walnut every time you fight him and he gives good experience similar to a level 6 minion or so. There are also Sleep Spores on the ground next to where you call Kikinak. After beating him five times he will give you Special Liqour x 2. Head to the Spider Forest now. --------------------------------------------- 4 Spider Forest SPIDER FOREST Minions - Radgore, Rugdogle, Radoimel, Radmole, Dogulchu, Patakuga, Tergrip, Doghambu Items - Knowledge 5, Great Walnut, Divine Tablet, Merging 2, Akiri Powder, Spider Warp, Merging 1, Stone Choker, Malty's Seal1 x 5, Malty's Seal2 x 3, White Horn, Minion's Fang, Skeleton Key x 2 Note: Giving the people the items they want doesn't seem to do anything except for Totoyamu. Go South. North. Go Northeast at the split. Head West at the split. Keep going. Find Yami and give her the Kickleberry and pick up Knowledge 5. If you go back to the last split and go Northeast there is a Treasure chest with Malty's Seal1 x 5, Malty's Seal2 x 3, and Stone Choker. Go back to first split and go Northwest. Go Northeast. Northeast and pick up White Horn near the log on the left. Northwest. Pick up Skeleton Key keep going. Go North. Hut with Kakayamu wants Divine Tablet go back. Go South. South. South. Go Northwest. North. North. At intersection go West the North has a save point and is blocked. Go South. Poacher is here he has Lagoat minion (air) this time when you win you get Great Walnut and Skeleton Key go west. Grab Ikara Powder West. Another West. Pick up Divine Tablet go back. Go South. Go South to the West is Yamu wants Minion Fang pick up Merging 2. Pick up Spider Warp and go back. Go East. Northeast leads back to where you fought Poacher go South. South again. Southwest. East leads back up and has Minion's Fang along the eastern edge of the trail then go West. Totoyamu don't give ring pick up Merging 1 then give him the Tears of Reese (ring). You then go back to town. TOWN Items - None Listen to the story and received the Champion's Belt and the Capture Amulet and go back to the forest. --------------------------------------------- 5 Spider Forest Again SPIDER FOREST AGAIN Minions - Rashab, Skwmorj, Maryen, Embla Items - Skeleton Key, Excellent Liqour, Yellow Bead, Kukumira Oil, Ichishi Oil Go all the way back to Totoyamu and give him the Champion's Belt. After that go to blocked path with the save point in front of it. Go through the now unblocked door. South. North. East grab the Excellent Liqour then go back. South. North. West. There is a treasure chest (Yellow Bead, Kukumira Oil, Ichishi Oil) and a save point then go back to last split. East. South and North both lead to the same place but if you go North you can get the Skeleton Key along that path. East. East. Northeast is the Tree if you go to it you will leave the forest and start the next part of the storyline. You should get any minions you want to catch before going here. Soon you will be stuck in the Barrier forest and you won't be able to go to town to talk to Mahbu or buy items. TOWN Items - Riketz' Garb Buy anything you might need because you will not get a chance until after Moth Forest. Also make sure you fix your minions however you like. Go to the Chief's Estate when you have everything you need. Don't go North into the Hall go South towards a lighter spot. Go to Garai's Home after the scene. On the floor is the Moth Key. Another scene and you get Mahbu's Cocoon and Riketz' Garb. You have head to Moth Forest but if you want to trap some good minions go to Spider Forest. Note: Since you can't talk to Mahbu you can only catch a certain number of minions because you will run out of empties before being able to get more after Moth Forest. SPIDER FOREST THE THIRD TIME Minions - Yoalk, Nevan The Yoalk minions are very deadly. They have a spell that causes instant death. You can't get these minions later. On to the Moth Forest. Note: Once you beat the Moth Forest you will not be able to return to any of the previous forests to get items or capture minions. --------------------------------------------- 6. Moth Forest MOTH FOREST Minions = Shulia, Asha, Radtodon, Raddlchu, Patbaran, Raddreg Items = Bitter Mugwort x 2, Special Liqour x 2, Tendai Uyaku, Whistler, Urvy's Blessing x 3, Sparrow Ruff, Great Walnut x 4, Skeleton Key, East. East. North. First West is a treasure chest (Bitter Mugwort x 2, Special Liqour x 2, Tendai Uyaku). Second West. Northwest. West. Save Point pick up Whistler on the wall and go back. North. Go up the stairs and get the Great Walnut and go North. Near the North wall is a Skeleton Key turn around and go back to the fountain East to the side of the fountain. West. Down the stairs to the East and then around. South and East to a treasure chest (Urvy's Blessing x 3, Sparrow Ruff, Great Walnut x 3). Go back again to the fountain. South. East. South. North. East you will reach a treasure chest (Shisiudo Oil Bletilla Oil, Ichishi Oil) go back to the last split. Northwest. North. South. South. North. North. South. North. Fight Poacher he has a Gigoat minion (earth) He isn't too hard if you have been leveling. I won a Great Walnut from him. You get the Pupa Key after the fight. Go all the way back to the fountain again. Northeast. Put key in the stone and go through. West. pick up Skeleton Key and go get other chest. Go back through the door again. North. Northwest. North. Northeast. Save go through archway. This is the point of no return. If you go through this arch you won't be able to return to the regular versions of the forests. Through the and you are now in the Nagi Village. NAGI VILLAGE Items - None Scene after it you get Jewel of Water. You can mess with minions or buy items the new items are Bitter Mugwort - 500 Excellent Liqour - 200 Ring of Venom - 70 Ring of Sleep - 100 Ring of Stoning - 300 Ring of Death - 500 Mirror of Deva - 200 Urvy's Blessing - 200 Vary's Blessing - 200 Agni's Blessing - 200 Malty's Blessing - 200 Urvy's Seal1 - 200 Urvy's Seal2 - 300 Vary's Seal1 - 200 Vary's Seal2 - 300 Agni's Seal1 - 200 Agni's Seal2 - 300 Malty's Seal1 - 200 Malty's Seal2 - 300 Sleep Spores - 100 Blue Phantom - 10000 Spring Blossom - 80000 Nagi Garb - 10000 Navy Blue Garb - 15000 Forest Garb - 20000 Sparrow Ruff - 500 Iron Bracelet - 500 Silver Crown - 500 Holy Ruff - 500 Once you get anything you need you should get some water or fire minions because the next boss is fire. Head to the West of Ni and go to the Netherworld Beetle Forest. Also once you beat any of the next forests you will not be able to go back to them to capture minions or get missed items. --------------------------------------------- 7. Netherworld Beetle Forest NETHERWORLD BEETLE FOREST Minions - Spikarta, Hackaroo, Patdreg, Skwimel, Swav, Patmanty Items - Vary's Blessing x 3, Malty's Blessing x 3, Hawk Ruff, Skeleton Key The Skeleton Key is in the same place the masked boy was and the treasure chest (Vary's Blessing x 3, Malty's Blessing x 3, Hawk Ruff) is in the same spot. The Fire boss is at Koris' hut. He isn't that strong but he has a strong fire minion who will poison you. The spell Devi Agni will always be in place so fire minions might be better than water ones. When you win you get Tendai Uyaku (maybe) and the Jewel of Fire. You then go back to the Nagi village. NAGI VILLAGE Items - None You talk to Ni and then mess with your minions and head to the Netherworld Dragonfly Forest. --------------------------------------------- 8. Netherworld Dragonfly Forest NETHERWORLD DRAGONFLY FOREST Minions - Amasag, Hirasag, Skarunga, Dogle, Mugoo, Zulmoo, Karn, Geenwee Items - Thunderbolt, Skeleton Key, Bletilla Oil, Chestnut Oil, Sleep Spore x 3 Thunderbolt is at the same place the poacher was. The Treasure Chest (Bletilla Oil, Chestnut Oil, Sleep Spore x 3) is to the left of the door leading to the ice field Kikinak was at. The Skeleton Key is all the way down and at the same place the Secret of Killing 1 was at. The Wind Boss is where you fought Kikinak before he is pretty quick and evades a lot. His minion uses sleep and then heals it's life so this is a tough battle. When fighting him the spell Devi Malti will always be in place so air minions might be better than fire ones. When you win you get the Jewel of Wind and Tendai Uyaku (maybe) and I also got Bloody Garb but I think this was rare. You then go back to the Nagi village. --------------------------------------------- 9. Netherworld Spider Forest (not done yet) NETHERWORLD DRAGONFLY FOREST Minions - Berbansa, Tragaron, Turen, Uglam, Jirahl, Spiral, Mukshab, Carmine, Terhambu, Dogpara, Robun, Noobwee Items - Skeleton Key, Urvy's Blessing x 3, Agni's Blessing x 3, Tendai Uyaku The Earth Boss is at the same place where Yami, Kakayuma, and Yamu were. These fights are optional but are quite easy as the Boss doesn't summon a minion and he gives good experience. The Skeleton Key is at the same place the Divine Tablet was. The Treasure Chest (Urvy's Blessing x 3, Agni's Blessing x 3, Tendai Uyaku) is at the place that has a circular path after the doorway that blocked your path before, it is on the same screen that the Skeleton Key was before except you have to take the South path instead of the North. The Earth Boss is at the big Tree. You have to fight this one and he has a minion who likes to use Stone. When you win you get the Jewel of Earth and you will immediately fight the Chosen One. He has a minion that will change elements at random so be prepared for a tough fight. Use whatever items you want since this is the last battle. Whenever he switches elements which rotate in a clockwise direction, Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, the minion will cast the corresponding Deva spell. When he is Earth he stones, Fire he just hurts you, Water he heals, and Wind he hurts you. Once he is dead The Chosen One is really easy. Enjoy the end movie and make sure you watch the credits because after you beat the game you can go into the Eternal Corridor. Save your game when given the choice and it will be unlocked. --------------------------------------------- 11. Eternal Corridor (not done yet) This place has the same setup as the Nagi Village, except there are lots of new weapons, armor, and items. In fact it has just about every weapon, armor, and item in the game. There are lots of different monsters here from before and new ones too. As the name states I believe there is no end to the corridors but prove me wrong if you can. Their are bosses along the way but I haven't got that far yet. If I have time I will add where the bosses are and everything. --------------------------------------------- 12. Won Tsunami from Dogle in Netherworld Dragonfly Forest. Won Tsunami from Dogle/Mugoo in Netherworld Dragonfly Forest. Won Bloody Garb from Wind Boss in Netherworld Dragonfly Forest. Won Bloody Garb from Earth Boss in Netherworld Spider Forest. Won Bloody Garb from Earth Boss in Netherworld Spider Forest. Poison 1/10 damage of total life. If a minion dies of poison your minion will gain no experience for it. It also lowers your Attack and Magic Attack. Stone will lower Accuracy and Avoidance and will kill you after you take action (ie. attack, defend) 5 times. Sleep lowers Defense, Magic Defense and Avoidance you will recover when it is your turn or when you are hit. Fight enemy same level you get level up. One level less fill half the bar. 3 levels less it takes 4 of them for a level up. It keeps going up by a power of 2 so the equation is x=your monster's level, y=defeated monster's level, and e is the number of monster's of that level you have to defeat to gain a level. 2^(x-y)=e So if your monster is level 5 you will need to defeat 2 level 4 monsters or 4 level 3 monster. 2^(5-4)=e 2^1=e or 2=e 2^(5-3)=e 2^2=e or 4=e The same thing goes for capturing and merging. When battle is over minions heal 1/4 health/mana. When blocking heal mana based on your level. I am not sure exactly what the ratio is. ?-? gain ? mana 15-16 gain 6 mana 17-? gain 7 mana ?-? gain ? mana I will finish this table if I have time. Skwoots in Dragonfly Forest drop Great Walnuts which permanently raise your Health by 1 or 2. Merging a minion with a minion that has poison, stone, or sleep will make the new minion have a resistance to that ability. I am not sure how effective this resistance is. It doesn't stop it completely just a lot more often. Also the minion must have the ability or it won't have the resistance. --------------------------------------------- 13.
