Then add the values up, and this gives you the xxxx value for the code. Example, if you want to assign the a particular code to be executed when you press L3+R3 together, first add the values to get 0200+0400=0600. Now say we want this to be used in a rendered area, so the appropriate code is D0070A98 0600. Now just insert this before each line of the code which you would like to assign to the buttons. If you were assigning an in-battle code, the code would be D008329E 0600. Easy huh? For an example of a joker code, have a look at the debug mode code below. Though this code is meant for the imported version of Final Fantasy VIII, the US version's code will soon be discovered -- after it's release. On with the guide!" So credit goes to Game Lobo for being the original creator of the japan debug code, which I used to find this PAL one. The code allows you to access certain programmers debug features.
