Anyways, I think that's all for the introduction of myself. Before starting the FAQ, I thought all of you knew Captain Tsubasa's story right? If you don't know, I'll give you the story. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Elementary School ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The main hero of the story is of course Tsubasa Ozora. He moved to a city named Nankatsu and studied in an elementary school named Nankatsu also. His first friend there was Ryo Ishizaki. In the city, there was a very great goalkeeper named Genzo Wakabayashi. Tetsuo Mikami, former goalkeeper of Japan National Team, trained Wakabayashi. Tsubasa challenged him and won. Accidentally, a former striker from Brazil saw Tsubasa's skills. His name is Roberto Hongo and he has Japanese blood. Nankatsu also got a group of supporters, leaded by a tomboy girl who likes Tsubasa, Sanae Nakazawa and she's also called as "Anego". In the city soccer competition, Tsubasa's school, Nankatsu, met Wakabyashi's school's, Shutetsu in the final. In the extra time, a new face in the city, Taro Misaki, changed Ishizaki. Misaki followed his father, a painter, wherever he go around Japan so he changed his schools often. Misaki combined very well with Tsubasa. In the end, the score was 2-2. After the competition, 13 players were selected from 5 schools to play for the national tournament in the name of Nankatsu FC and coached by Tadashi Shiroyama. The players that were selected: GK Genzo Wakabayashi (Shutetsu) DF Masao Nakayama (Yamabuki), Takeshi Kishida (Yamabuki), Shingo Takasugi (Shutetsu), Ryo Ishizaki (Nankatsu) MF Hanji Urabe (Nishigaoka), Mamoru Izawa (Shutetsu), Taro Misaki (Nankatsu) FW Hajime Taki (Shutetsu), Teppei Kisugi (Shutetsu), Tsubasa Ozora (Nankatsu) Substitution players: GK Yuzo Morisaki (Shutetsu), DF Koji Nishio (Yamabuki) However, Wakabayashi couldn't play because of his injuries. He could only play in the final of national tournament. Tsubasa and the friends managed to win Shizuoka prefecture competition and went for the national tournament. In the qualifying round, they lost to Meiwa from Saitama 6-7 because a very rude but skillful player played there. His name is Kojiro Hyuga. He combined very well with his younger mate, Takeshi Sawada. Meiwa was very tough because Kira Kozo coached Meiwa. Although lost to Meiwa, Tsubasa made up his way through the semifinal. He found many great opponents such as the twin brothers, Tachibana from Hanawa. They were famous because of their acrobatic play, Triangle Shot. They can also do Twin Shot. There was also a great goalkeeper with big body, Taichi Nakanishi from Naniwa. Tsubasa fought Hanawa and won 3-2 and they fought Naniwa and won 5-1. In the semifinal, they fought Musashi from Tokyo and won 5-4. A great midfielder named Jun Misugi played there. He couldn't play freely because of his heart disease. Musashi's manager, Yayoi, loves him and told Tsubasa about his disease. Tsubasa felt sorry and let Misugi to win but Misugi and the other Nankatsu players said that he couldn't be like that. After the match, he went for a surgery. Meiwa met Furano from Hokkaido in the semifinal. Hikaru Matsuyama, the star of Furano, taught Hyuga to play as a team. Meiwa almost lost but a great goalkeeper suddenly changed Meiwa's goalkeeper. His name is Ken Wakashimazu, who studied Karate. He was able to stop Matsuyama's penalty kick. Meiwa won 3-2 and went to the final. In the final, Nankatsu FC scored the first with Tsubasa and Misaki's Twin Shot. Meiwa also performed their special sliding tackles. In the second round, Tsubasa, Misaki, and Wakabayashi were injured so Hyuga was able to score 2 goals. In the last second, Wakabayashi ran forward and gave the ball to Misaki and Tsubasa continued the attack and scored. In the extra time, Wakabayshi let Tsubasa and Misaki to rest so they could attack in the next round. Tsubasa was able to score the third score in the next round. Wakashimazu also ran forward to equalize but failed. Tsubasa scored another and won 4-2. Soon after the match ended, Roberto went to the airport and flew to Brazil alone. Tsubasa's mom gave Tsubasa a message from Roberto. The moment Tsubasa reached the airport, Roberto already flew. Hyuga was offered to study in junior a high school named Toho in Tokyo. Misaki went to another city with his father. Nankatsu and Shutetsu players entered Nankatsu Junior High School and the other Nankatsu FC players went to a school in Shizuoka named Otomo. Tsubasa himself was also offered to play in Toho, but he refused and continued to play in Nankatsu Junior High School. Wakabayashi went to Hamburg, Germany, with his private coach, Mikami. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Junior High School ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 years had flew by and Nankatsu Jr. High School won the Junior High School Tournament two times. They always fought Toho in the final. Sanae became the manager if the team and a new girl also became the manager. Her name is Yukari and I thought she started became a manager 2 years ago. This time, Nankatsu aimed to be the champion again. Tsubasa was offered to go to Brazil by Munemasa Katagiri, a guy from JAF. He could go to Brazil if he won the championship again. New players entered the team and a new manager entered the team also. Her name is Kumi and she liked Tsubasa also which made Sanae angry often. Tsubasa also changed his position from FW into MF because Roberto's advice. One day, Urabe and the others from Otomo came to Nankatsu. A new face also came, his name is Shun Nitta and he performed his Hayabusha (Falcon) Shot infront Nankatsu players. Nankatsu Junior High School's players: GK Yuzo Morisaki DF Masato Nakasato, Tsuyoshi Oda, Ryo Ishizaki, Shingo Takasugi MF Kenichi Iwami, Mamoru Izawa, Tsubasa Ozora FW Hajime Taki, Teppei Kisugi, Hiroshi Nagano Tsubasa asked his old coach, Shiroyama, about Nitta. Shiroyama said that Nitta played for Nankatsu after Tsubasa and his friends were graduated. Although he has a great stamina and a great shot, he got no techniques unlike Tsubasa and Misaki. Nankatsu met Otomo in the final of the prefecture competition. The GK of Otomo, Ichijo, was Nitta's friend who played for Nankatsu also. A new guy watched the match with his friend and Yukari recognized him. He's Jido, Yukari's cousin, who played in Hirado in Nagasaki. The match ended with 2 goals from Tsubasa and 1 goal from Taki, and a goal from Nitta, Nankatsu won 3-1 against Otomo. In Tokyo, Toho won against Musashi 3-2. Not only Hyuga, Wakashimazu and Sawada also entered Toho. Toho scored 3 goals, which forced Misugi to play. He could only play for 30 minutes and he fell in the middle of the match after scoring 2 goals. Back to Tsubasa, he got a letter from Wakabayashi saying that Misaki went to France with his father and Misaki visited Wakabayashi in Hamburg. After the match, his old coach, Kira visited Hyuga and said that Hyuga became weaker. Hyuga went to Okinawa to study to his old coach how to become like when he was in Meiwa. Finally, Hyuga mastered a very powerful shot: Tiger Shot. Hyuga came back to Toho but Toho's coach, Kitazume, refused to use him in the tournament because as a captain he has abandoned his team without any permission. Nankatsu battled Azuma in the first round. A great defender named Makoto Soda played there. He was nicknamed "the ace players' killer". He scored with his Kamisori (Razor) Shot and also made Tsubasa injured. However, Takasugi and Tsubasa scored and Nankatsu won 2-1. Tsubasa met Hanawa Jr. High School in the third round. Tachibana brothers now got a new acrobatic move, Skylab Hurricane. Taki and Kisugi from Nankatsu scored the first two goals and the old Triangle Shot of Tachibana bros. wasn't effective anymore. Because of those conditions, Tachibana brothers were forced to use their new move and they scored. However, when they tried to score another, Tsubasa blocked the attack and fell together with Masao Tachibana. He was injured in his shoulder and he went to the clinic. Meanwhile, Hanawa was able to score an equalizing goal. Tsubasa came back to the field after he was temporarily healed. Masao and Kazuo used their twin shot but Morisaki and Ishizaki cleared the ball. Tsubasa tried to score another but the Tachibanas tried to block it with Skylab Defense but failed and Tsubasa scored and won 3-2. Later on, Meiwa (Hyuga's old school) and Toho classified to the semifinal. Furano also classified to the semifinal. Matsuyama almost lost to a team called Minami but finally they won 2-1. It's time to decide which team classified to the semifinal: Nankatsu or Hirado. Before the match, Tsubasa got a letter from Misaki in Italy. He went there with his father and he trained a soccer team of small boys. Among them was a great player named Giovanni Contti. Back to the match, Jido, Yukari's cousin, combined very well with his friend, Mitsuru Sano, and Hirado scored the first 3 goals. Tsubasa's shoulder injury became worst because of Jido's shoulder tackle. Tsubasa was fainted and he dreamed of Wakabayashi, Misaki, and Roberto. Wakabayashi and Misaki encouraged him and Roberto told him to use the shot he taught. In the second round, Tsubasa scored a hattrick with his signature shot: Drive Shot. Kisugi did the winning goal after passing through Jido's legs and they won 4-3. In the semifinal, Meiwa was able to score the first. All 10 players sliding tackled the ball and scored. Toho wasn't able to score because Meiwa knew Wakashimazu and Sawada's type of playing. However, Sawada was able to fool the defenders by passing the ball to Kazuki Sorimachi, Toho's best striker after Hyuga and he scored. Wakashimazu scored the second goal of Toho. Wakashimazu ran forward and passed the ball to Sorimachi and Sorimachi gave back the ball to Wakashimazu and he scored. They won 2-1. As for Nankatsu, they met Furano in the semifinal. Furano's manager, Komi, who loved Matsuyama, gave the team headbands. When the match was started, Furano played the Zone Press tactic, named Snow Blizzard, and they were able to score the first. Tsubasa equalized the score with an overhead kick later on. Izawa also scored then Matsuyama scored another with his new shot: Eagle Shot. Before the match ended, Tsubasa used a Drive Shot but the ball hit the goalpost. The ball hit the ground and spin very fast and went to the net. Nankatsu won 3-2. After the match, Komi went to airport and Matsuyama rushed to the airport to meet her. Tsubasa was brought to the hospital and spent a night there. In Toho's place, Kitazume received a letter from Kira. In the letter, Kira begged Kitazume to use Hyuga in the final. Hyuga also begged Kitazume to use him but he refused. The Toho squad also begged Kitazume to use Hyuga. Kitazume gave a test to Hyuga. Hyuga must score a goal through Sorimachi, Sawada, and Wakashimazu. He immediately launched a Tiger Shot and scored. Kitazume informed the team that Hyuga will play. After that, the team was told by someone that Tsubasa was fainted in the hospital. Hyuga went to the hospital then. In the hospital, Hyuga met Matsuyama and the other Nankatsu players. Hyuga was about to fight with Matsuyama, but Tsubasa's mother stopped them. Before leaving the room, Tsubasa said "Karl Heinz Schneider". Hyuga then told everybody about the tournament in France 3 years ago. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Tournament In Paris 3 Years Ago ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Some talented players from Japan were selected to play in France. They're: GK: Genzo Wakabayashi DF: Shingo Takasugi, Mamoru Izawa, Hajime Taki, Hikaru Matsuyama MF: Tsubasa Ozora, Taro Misaki, Takeshi Sawada FW: Kojiro Hyuga, Masao Tachibana, Kazuo Tachibana Substitution: GK Ken Wakashimazu, GK Taichi Nakanishi, DF Ryo Ishizaki, MF Oda, FW Teppei Kisugi In the plane to France, Katagiri told everybody about Karl Heintz Schneider, a great player of West Germany. Wakabayashi described Schneider: someone who's combination of Hyuga's power and Tsubasa's skill. In France, Japan battled England in the first round. Tachibanas scored the first with Triangle Shot then Steve from England scored two goals. Wakabayashi, Hyuga, Kazuo, and Masao were changed by Wakashimazu, Kisugi, Ishizaki, and Oda because of their bad play. Japan scored another two and won 3-2. After the match, Matsuyama was injured and Hyuga was missing. Back to the story, Misugi came to visit Tsubasa also. Back again to France. In the semifinal, Japan met France. France has a great player: Earl Cid Pierre. He scored upon Wakashimazu at first. In the second round, Wakabayashi encouraged Tsubasa and Tsubasa scored two goals and they won 2-1. They went to West Germany and saw West Germany won the semifinal against Spain. They went to West Germany's changing room and found Schneider. Their goalkeeper, Hefner, told Japan squads about Hyuga. They met Hyuga outside the stadium and Hyuga said he came here to challenge Schneider and he lost to him. The next day when the team was training, Tsubasa's mom, Sanae and Masaru, Tsubasa's friend, came to West Germany. The next day, Tsubasa met his father in the stadium. The final match started and Schneider scored two goals before the half time came. Wakabayashi substituted Wakashimazu in the second round. Tsubasa and Hyuga scored with a twin shot. Schneider attacked Wakabayashi but Wakabayashi was able to block it because of Hyuga. Wakabayashi gave the ball to Matsuyama and Matsuyama gave Misaki a high pass. Misaki overhead kicked the pass to Hyuga. Hyuga overhead kicked the ball to Tsubasa and Tsubasa overhead kicked the ball and goal!!!!!!!!! The match ended and both Japan and West Germany became champion. Back to the story......... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Nankatsu VS Toho ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Tsubasa woke up and Matsuyama and the Nankatsu players entered the room. Hyuga went back to Toho after he made sure that Tsubasa's woke up. Matsuyama told Tsubasa that tomorrow Hyuga will play. The next day, many people gathered in the stadium to watch the match. Matsuyama watched the match with Misugi and Yayoi. Kitazume, Toho's coach thought to himself that he would leave Toho after this match because Hyuga's potential defeated his desire (not letting Hyuga play). The match was getting started and Hyuga was the one who scored the first goal with a Tiger Shot. Tsubasa equalized the score with Drive Shot but Hyuga scored another 2 goals with Tiger Shots. Hyuga was about to score the forth but Tsubasa countered the shot from the middle of the field and he scored. The score became 2-3. However, he went out of the field and got an injection to make his pain disappear by the doctor and came back to the field and played as usual. In the half time, Katagiri asked Misugi to become a coach to train the Japan squad for the Junior World Cup in France. With the teamplay of Nankatsu, they managed to equalize the score finished by Tsubasa's overhead. It's 3-3. Before the second round ended, Tsubasa used a Drive Shot but was countered by Hyuga's Tiger Shot, and again countered by Tsubasa!!! However, Wakashimazu and Hyuga managed to stop it. In the extra round, Tsubasa scored another by Ishizaki's assist. He shot the ball without looking at the pass. The ball went to the right so Wakashimazu jumped to catch it, but the ball hit the ground and spin very fast then it headed to the left so finally Nankatsu leaded 4-3. Tsubasa has to leave the field for sometimes and came back again. The second round of the extra time came. Hyuga couldn't score anymore but when he's desperate to kick the ball, Sawada sliding tackled his own captain! Hyuga kicked the ball high and he told Sawada to lift his foot. Hyuga jumped with the help of Sawada to pass the defenders of Nankatsu and kicked the ball with Tiger Overhead Kick. Morisaki was pushed to the goal but Tsubasa caught his foot but still they went to the goal. Hyuga equalized! The match ended, and they became twin champion. Hyuga and Tsubasa exchanged costumes. Toho was let to take the winning flag for 6 months. 22 talented players were told and Mikami, Wakabayashi's coach said that 17 of them would go to Europe to play in the Junior World Cup. Misugi also agreed to become the coach. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Junior World Cup ----------------------------------------------------------------------- All talented players of Japan were called and they flew to Germany to have a friendly match with Hamburg before they went to France to play for Jr. World Cup. Unfortunately, Tsubasa couldn't play because he's still injured and Hamburg's goalkeeper was Wakabayashi and their striker was Karl Heinz Schneider (remember?). Schneider has a talented friend in Hamburg and his name is Herman Karltz. Well, Japan had a big reason to lose cause Tiger Shots of Hyuga could be catch by Wakabayashi and Wakashimazu couldn't catch Schneider's Fire Shot. Tsubasa arrived in Germany with Katagiri and rushed to the field but Hyuga and Matsuyama won't let him play. Wakashimazu was injured and must be changed by Morisaki, who's worse than him. Wakabayashi let Hyuga to score once, so the final score would be 5-1 Hamburg. Hyuga was sent a weighed ball by Kira. Hyuga was told to practice with the ball to make another powerful shot: Neo Tiger Shot. They had a friendly match again with Bremen, where a good player of Germany, Franz Schester, played. They lost 3-2 however. They had another match with Bayer Munich and this time, Tsubasa's playing and they won 3- 0. Japan squads went to France after that and Tsubasa met Misaki below the Eiffel Tower and soon Misaki joined the forces. Japan Jr. also had a match with Amsterdam and they won 4-0 and a match with Belgium and again won, 3-1. The Jr. World Cup started. Wakabayashi entered Japan team and encouraged the team but the team thought that he's insulting, so they refused to use Wakabayashi and they used Wakashimazu. The first match of Japan Jr. was with Italy Jr. Italy, with his great goalkeeper and also the captain, Gino Hernandez, was very good. A good striker also played there, Salvatore Gentile. And don't forget, Misaki trained a team in Italy and their best player, Giovanni Contti, was playing in the team. Even though, Japan Jr. was able to beat them. Their next opponent, Argentina, has a very good captain with great ball control, Juan Diaz, and their striker, Alan Pascal. Diaz and Pascal's combination matched Tsubasa and Misaki's. Diaz also had watched the match between Japan Jr. and Hamburg, but he hasn't watch Tsubasa playing. Tsubasa is better than Diaz and Japan won. In the semifinal, they fought the main host team, France Jr., just as 3- 4 years ago. Remember France's best player, Earl Cid Pierre? Now he's back with his friend, a great striker, Louis Napoleon. Bad luck for Japan, not that the 2 players were very great, they also played in Paris, France's capital city!! Of course the referee wanted France to win and Soda was given a red card, Tsubasa was given a yellow card, and 4 Japan's goals were cancelled. After a long match, Japan won 5-4 in a penalty shootout. In the other semifinal, Uruguay lost to the best team in Europe, no other team else but Germany Jr., where Schneider captained the team, with the help of Herman Karltz (Hamburg), Franz Schester (Bremen), and a great goalkeeper, Duath Muller, who had been nicknamed, the European Wall because he's very big and great (he's better than Gino? I don't think so...). And then, this is where the game started!! Bored after reading so long stories? I'm very sure you bored!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2.) How to Play the Game ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ First, buy a Captain Tsubasa J: Get in the Tomorrow CD. That's right, buy!! Don't rent because you won't regret buying it!! Put the CD in your Playstation, and then press the power button. The screen will show you the Playstation logos. Then there'll be Bandai logo (if you like to play Dragon Ball in PSX, it'll be familiar). After that, there'll be a blue screen where Captain Tsubasa J is written in Japan words. The screen will tell you to press start. Don't press start yet!! If you don't press start for a several seconds, the screen will change, it'll show you the anime when Tsubasa and Hyuga championed the tournament (the double junior high school champion, Toho and Nankatsu), Tsubasa is wearing Toho's shirt, and Hyuga got Nankatsu's shirt on his shoulder. They're holding the champion's flag. The screen then will show several players like Wakabayashi, Gino Hernandez, RJ7 players with their coach, Minato Gamo, then Diaz along with Pascal, Napoleon and Pierre, Duath Muller, Schneider, and Shingo Aoi. Tsubasa also appears with the other Japan players. Roberto Hongo also appears. Then you will see Shinpurasado Bunnark with the Konsawatto brothers and Wakabayashi catching a ball. You can press start if you want now, cause after this there'll be some demo playing the game. Press start at the main screen and there'll be 5 menus, like this: 1 2 3 4 5 Well, the first menu is the Story Mode. Second is the VS Mode. Third is the Tournament Mode. Fourth is Memory Card. Fifth is Option. Fourth mode is to load and look your saved team (more on this later). Fifth mode is the option. You will see a screen with writings in Japan like this: Commentator Voice Game BGM ON/OFF ON/OFF Time COM Level 3/5/10/15/20 Easy/Normal/Hard Sound Test Commentator voice is set on. If you want the match without any commentator voice, select off. Game BGM is set on. You can set off but there won't be any music. I've tried selecting off. Very quiet and annoying because you'll only hear the commentator's voice with the sound of the players kicking the ball. Time of playing is set 3 minutes each round, you can change it to 5 or 10 or 15 or 20 minutes. Computer level is set Normal. You can change to Easy or Hard (the first time I began the story mode, I used Normal). You can hear the music in the sound test room. The first, second, and the third are where you can play the game. If you wanted to learn how to play, choose the VS mode and choose the MAN VS COM. Choose the team you want, recommended Japan, the best team for beginners (look at the flag. The REAL Japan flag, not the one written RJ7) and fight any team. You will ask to choose one from 5 fields/stadiums. After waiting for loading (if you play Story Mode, the picture when loading is Tsubasa. VS Mode loading picture is Hyuga, and Tournament loading picture is Aoi), the screen will be divided into two. The left one is your part and the right one is the opponent. This is the team management. You can change your players and positions. If you choose Japan, from the beginning you will ask which player will be playing, which will be sitting at the bench, and some players to be thrown out. The lists of players are listed below. Press X and then choose 'yes'. There will be 4 options. The first one (starts from left) is the substitution menu (you can't change GK to play as DF/MF/FW. Second is the position menu. Third is the edit position menu, and the forth one is OK. You will control the opponent's menu but you can't substitute the computer's player, you can't change and/or edit their positions. You can only see their statistics (I found my opponent was very hard once and I wanted to change his FW into GK, but I couldn't). After that, the options will appear (commentator voice, game BGM, time, com level). Press OK then and you'll be brought to the field (if you're playing story mode, the options won't appear. You must control the option from the main menu initially, though). Hold left when highlighting a player to see his special moves. The special moves box will be like this: -------------------------------------------- | (The Special Move Name) | | | | Power (No) | | Assist (Name) | | | | (The buttons needed to be input) | || -------------------------------------------- Power: points needed for executing the move Assist: friends needed for executing the move Hold right when highlighting a player to see his status. The status box will be like this: ----------------------------------------------------- |Level (#) Position (GK/DF/MF/FW) | |Body Strength (#) Attack (#) | |Breath/Inner Strength (#) Technique (#) | |Decision (#) Engine Power (#) | ----------------------------------------------------- It's all in Japan words after there, which I don't understand. However, except level and position, the others can be read in Chinese and that's the result my dad gave. Thanks dad!! Anyone get any other meanings?? After finishing a match, a screen will be brought and show you 4 options: Level Up, Database, Save, and Exit. Level Up shows you who're the players whose levels gone up (how to gain more level easier will be described later). Database is to see the team's players you play. Save is for saving the game. And Exit is for exiting, doh. If your players get level up, you might want to save the game. Later in VS Mode, you can load it. Don't choose the team you played before, instead choose the memory card logo. The level up box will be like this: ---------------------------- |Player's Photo | |Level (#)-->(#) | |Body Strength (#)-->(#) | |Inner Strength (#)-->(#) | |Decision (#)-->(#) | |Attack (#)-->(#) | |Engine Power (#)-->(#) | |Technique (#)-->(#) | ---------------------------- In the database, you can see the players' deeper positions, such as Tsubasa (SGMF) and Hyuga (SFW). S means Super and SG means Super Great. How to play the game: The Buttons When you're holding the ball/Offense: Square: Pass X: Shoot Circle: Run (Hold circle button and press directional button) Triangle: Jump, Dribble, Trick L1: Press with X or square to do a high pass or shoot R1: Press, then input the buttons for special moves L2: Press with Square or X to make the ball curve to the left R2: Press with Square or X to make the ball curve to the right L1+R1: Standard Special Move When the ball is at the opponent/Defend: Square: Shoulder Tackle X: Sliding Tackle Circle: Run (Hold circle button and press directional button) Triangle: Jump L1: Change players R1: Nothing L2: Nothing R2: Nothing Start button: Pause the game. Press start button in several occasions (goal, throw in, goal kick, throw in, foul) to access to the team management. Select button: Don't know. Maybe nothing. +++++++++++++ GENERAL TIPS +++++++++++++ -Look at your screen while you're in the field. There'll be 2 photos of players with a bar in each photo (including their names, in Japanese). The bar is the stamina. Too much running, using special moves, sliding, and shooting will make the stamina less. If the player is dying, their photos will change into their exhausted photos. Let your players rest!! However, making your players running until they exhausted is the easiest way to level up your players!! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ DRIBBLING, PASSING, SHOOTING, AND SCORING +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ -If you know the opponent is going to sliding tackle you, press triangle (jump) to avoid them. But if you find that the opponent is in front of you, press triangle before they tackled you. Instead of jumping, you will do a charging dribble, which causes any opponent in front of you fall (this dribbles cost a lot of energy to use, so don't use it often, you need energy to use special move). However, some charging dribbles are not "charging", but zigzag dribbles such as Sawada's. This type of dribbles can avoid sliding tackle, but they can easily tackled after "zigzagging" and this dribble won't make any players fall! Also, if you collide into the opponent, he will pass the ball without any proper direction and the opponent and him will fall -You can also use the triangle button when you're holding the ball to perform "trick". Maybe there are many tricks, but I can only find this one. When the opponent is in front of you, hold L1 then press triangle, the player will do a heel shot!! Several players however can't do that like Hiroshi Jido. - Sometimes when you dribble the ball, someone will ask you to pass the ball (shouting). Don't pass the ball until you're sure you can perfectly pass the ball. If you pass the ball without looking at the player you want to pass, sometimes it will be intercepted. -To use heading or overhead moves (or other air moves), press triangle when the ball is in the air -To score a goal, use special moves (more on that later). There's also another way to score, but hard. - This is the hard way of scoring. The best way to score when the opponent's goalkeeper is very great (second and third match against RJ7 in story mode for example) isn't by using standard/special moves (the GK of RJ7 can catch all standard special moves when you're playing the second and third time. Misugi's Drive Shot works sometimes.). You must bring the ball near the spot at the penalty part, and press L2 OR R2 together with square button. The player will kick the ball beside the GK. This is very hard, which means you must train first until you mastered it (like me, heheh). To do this, the position of your team must have only 1 forward (that's why I like 4-5-1). If you have more than one striker, you can't do this because the moment you press square button, the player will pass the ball to the other striker. - Also, there's an easy way of scoring but rarely scores and it's hard to use. Dribble the ball near the GK then press L1 + X to loop the ball. If the GK's too far from you, he will catch the ball. +++++++++++++++++++ TACKLES +++++++++++++++++++ -Don't use shoulder tackle often. Using shoulder tackle may cause a fault, yellow card, even a red card (doing sliding tackle too hard can cause those results too. But sliding tackle has a lower chance of getting those problems) - Sometimes if you play with hard difficulty, your opponents use shoulder tackles often. To prevent falling because of shoulder tackles, stand still and press R1. -Sometimes when the opponent is dribbling a ball, near your player's photo there'll be a word "CHANCE" in blue color. When you see this, immediately press triangle. Your captain will shout something in Japanese and all your players around the opponent (who is holding the ball) will tackle him. This is a great way to take the ball from the opponent if your opponent likes to jump. This kind of tackle is called as Surround Tackle. However, the opponent can avoid this if he jump or ran backwards (not at the direction where your players are sliding). Sometimes when you press triangle, nothing will happen. Maybe you pressed the triangle button when the "CHANCE" is blinking yellow. If you press the triangle button when the "CHANCE" is blinking yellow, it will become offside trap. -I've heard of Special Tackle. Is this one true? E-mail me if you know to 1rv4nh@starmail.com!! I got a feeling special tackle is the same as surround tackle. +++++++++++++ SPECIAL MOVES +++++++++++++ -Special moves are shots which done by some players that will immediately head to the opponent's goalkeeper. The game will freeze for a moment and the player that do this move will shout something (yes, freeze. So while shouting the opponent can't tackle you) and launch their shot to the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper can catch the shot (varies on the goalkeeper's statistics. The best goalkeeper is SGGK Genzo Wakabayashi) by pressing the L1+R1 rapidly (rapidly, hardly, and fastly will help to catch the ball). Not all special moves can be executed at the same distance. Every special move varies. Tsubasa's Drive Shot can be done from the center of the field while Hyuga's Tiger Shot can't. -Pressing L1 together with R1 will cause the player to perform their standard special move. Not all the players can perform the standard special move. To check whether the player can perform special moves or not, hold left button while highlighting the name of the player in the team management. If a gray box appears, that means that player can perform the standard shot. In the gray box, it's written there the special moves and double shots (more on that later). Hold the right button to see the player's statistics. Press L1 + R1 rapidly, hardly, and fastly soon after the game freezes to get more successful rate of scoring. -To perform special moves, press R1 then input the buttons needed. Special move is stronger than standard move (however, some players' standard special move is the same as one of their special moves). Example: Tsubasa's standard special move is Drive Shot. Drive Shot is very cheap, cheap, cheap!! If you watch the anime, you'll know that this move is a long-range shot, which means, you can use this move from the middle of the field. With Tsubasa's speed and stamina, he can do this move multiple times in the game. Drive Shots also only spare a bit of stamina due to Tsubasa's great stamina. To avoid you winning each and every match with Tsubasa's Drive Shot in the Story Mode, not all the time in Story Mode you have a match with Tsubasa. And sometimes, when you play with Tsubasa, the goalkeepers' skills are out of your mind (Gino Hernandez and Duath Muller). They can stop Drive Shots!! But keep in your mind that Drive Shot is only a standard special move. Special moves are the ultimate source of scoring goals (costs more energy, of course)!! -Tsubasa's famous special move is Flying Drive Shot. Unlike Drive Shot which go straight immediately to the goal, Flying Drive Shot flies high with a big curve to the left or right, then lands in the goal. Impressive, huh? However, this time is not as easy as you execute Drive Shot (kick-off, L1+R1), you must press R1 (until the player's name is blinking blue) then press up, left, down, right, X (fastly). Understand? -Double Shots are special moves that must be done by 2 players, but you only have to press the buttons on one player only. The players that will do this move must be near (sometimes the other player will come by himself after you press the associated buttons) and the distance from both of them to the goal mustn't too near (in the middle of the goal and the center line of the field). For example, Tsubasa and Misaki's double shot. When you're in a good position to use double shot (example you're controlling Misaki), press R1 then left, down, right, triangle. The game will freeze and when Misaki is shouting, Tsubasa will run to join him and prepares the Double Shot. Double Shot is pretty accurate to score a goal (if you've seen the anime, double shot is a shot which done by two players and the ball will spin madly without any proper direction where it heads). This special move spends both players' power. I've seen no GK has ever caught this shot. However, there's one player who can perform this mad shot alone (as far as I know, only ONE PLAYER). He is Brian Cruyyford (MF 11) from Netherlands. His shot's name is Illusion Strike (R1 + Left, Down, Right, Up, X) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3.) Players and Movelists ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Below is the list of all players along with their special moves and their stats. The lists of players down here you can find them from the VS Mode. To perform standard special moves press L1 + R1 and to perform special moves, press R1 initially then input the buttons. The players that don't have special moves won't be listed the word 'Standard Move' and 'Special Moves'. I will put the status in this order: Body Strength/Inner Strength/Decision/Attack/Technique/Engine Power The teams below are: Japan Youth, Holland Youth, China Taipei Youth, Thailand Youth, Juventus Primavera, AC Milan Juniores, Inter Milan Primavera, Sao Paulo FC, RJ7 (Real Japan Seven), CR Flamengo, Hamburg Jr. Youth, Italy Jr. Youth, Argentina Jr. Youth, France Jr. Youth, Germany Jr. Youth, Inter Milan Juniores, Street Team, Dream Team, and Japan Jr. Youth. 4. Walkthrough
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here comes the walkthrough! The walkthrough will tell you the story and
strategy to beat the opponents in the story mode.
In story mode, if you do something like tackle, shot, or score a goal,
sometimes you get a picture of someone talking. It's not necessary to
see them, but I'll tell you what I've got and please tell me if you have
more.
Remember, after a match, always saves the game.
Here we go!
---------
Yep, this is your first match: the final of Junior World Cup, against
Germany Junior Youth. You'll see a movie where some planes are flying
with firecrackers. The cup is also shown.
--------
Advices:
--------
- The players that will play are strong enough, but if you wanna some
changes, exchange the players in the bench to Masao, Kazuo, Misugi, and
Wakashimazu.
- All the players that will play have special moves except Sawada and
Sano. Sawada is great and Sano is fast. You might wanted to exchange
them to Masao and Kazuo for their Skylab Hurricane (although Muller can
catch it. The move can only score sometimes.). Ishizaki's special move
is only Long Shot, the same as Misugi's. You might wanted to change him
also to Misugi.
---------------
BATTLE TACTICS:
---------------
OK, now start the game. Soon after the kick off, try to score with
Tsubasa's Drive Shot. Press L1 + R1 fastly and hardly because the
goalkeeper, Muller, is very great. If you score, that's great. In your
second try, the chance of scoring with another Drive Shot becomes
lesser. Try Hyuga's Tiger Shot also. Press L1 + R1 harder also. The next
time you use Tiger Shot, Muller might be able to catch.
As for defense, watch out for Schneider's Non-Fire Shot. Your
Wakabayashi might be able to catch it, but only sometimes. Press L1 + R1
harder too, to catch the Schneider's shot. Schester and Karltz seldom
use their special moves, so try to intercept every pass they try to give
to Schneider. Matsuyama's Eagle Shot, Jido's Power Shot, and Soda's
Kamisori Shot are great, but you don't know it will score or not, so
don't overlap them. If you wanted to score more, use
Tsubasa/Misaki/Hyuga's Double Shot. Muller surely won't be able to catch
it.
----------------
BATTLE PICTURES:
----------------
- Let Schneider kicked the ball to Wakabayashi. If Wakabayashi catch the
ball, Schneider will say something.
- Let Schneider use his Non-Fire Shot and catch the ball with
Wakabayashi. Wakabayashi will say something and Schneider also will say
something.
- If Karltz kick the ball and Wakabayashi catch it, Karltz will say
something.
- If Karltz get a pass in the middle of the field, he will say
something.
- If Karltz get a pass near your penalty area, he will say something.
- If Karltz interept your pass in the middle of the field, he will say
somehing.
- If you tackle Karltz in the middle of the field, he will say something
---------------
AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
After the match, Japan Jr. will be given medals and the cup. Tsubasa
said something to the spectators and announce that Japan would win the
World Cup someday. Gino Hernandez, Juan Diaz, Alan Pascal, and Earl Cid
Pierre watched the match and they said something to themselves. Tsubasa
and the friends ran along the stadium and Tsubasa found Roberto Hongo!!
This time, Roberto would bring Tsubasa to Brazil because Tsubasa now
become the best player in the world (for his age)!! Tsubasa cries, and
the stadium became very noisy!!
Chapter I
=========
---------
2nd Match
---------
The story takes place in the city of Milan, in Italy. A young Japanese
is dribbling a ball in the street. His name is Shingo Aoi. In Japan, his
team, Nakahara Jr. High School had a match with Nankatsu Jr. High
School. Aoi managed to pass all Nankatsu players with his dribble, but
Tsubasa Ozora could stop him. His team lost 11-0 to Nankatsu. He decided
to go out from the team and stopped playing soccer, but Tsubasa said
that he got talents and never stop playing soccer if he likes it.
Aoi met Tsubasa and Katagiri in the airport before Tsubasa flew to
Brazil. Aoi said goodbye to him and Tsubasa gave him three coins: U.S.A
coin, France coin, and Japan coin (U.S.A 1994 World Cup, France 1998
World Cup, and Japan-Korea 2002 World Cup). Aoi made them as three lucky
coins. In Italy, Aoi wanted to play in Serie-A Juniores. In AC Milan,
they refused to recruit a Japanese. Aoi then showed his talents and
Inter Milan recruited him.
However, all Inter Milan Juniores' players hated him, especially Carlo
Matteo. One of the players must be sent out from the team because of Aoi
entered the team. Only their goalkeeper who doesn't hate him, Gino
Hernandez. Hernandez was the goalkeeper of Italy who fought Japan Jr.
Youth. Matteo and his friends wanted to make the coach sent Aoi out by
giving Aoi bad passes in the training. In a Juniores Milan Derby (Inter
Milan VS AC Milan), number 4 of AC Milan scored upon Hernandez. The
coach substituted number 11 of Inter Milan to Aoi........
Advices:
- No need for advices I think. Just never put away Aoi, Matteo, and
Hernandez.
---------------
BATTLE TACTICS:
---------------
You start the game in the second round and the current score is 1-0.
That means you must hurry!! Try to score with Aoi's Non Stop Shot. Press
both L1 + R1 harder because AC Milan Juniores' goalkeeper can stop it.
Matteo's Banana Shot can also be effective. Try to make the goalkeeper
tired by using Aoi's Non Stop Shot and Matteo's Banana/Long Shot again
and again.
As for defense, two of AC Milan Juniores' players, number 9 and 11, can
use special moves. Hernandez can catch it, but press L1 + R1 very fast
and hard. Try to tackle number 9 and 11 if they're near the penalty
area.
BATTLE PICTURES:
- Only know one and a little rare. Try to tackle (or intercept, I
forgot) opponent's ball near their penalty area. Inter Milan Juniores'
players (number 4, 7, and 9) will say something about Aoi.
---------------
AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
After the match, all Inter Milan Juniores' players will congratulate
Aoi. All the players and Matteo changes their opinion about Aoi.
Hernandez also congratulates him.
---------
3rd Match
---------
Aoi continues to work shoes polisher. He met a Japanese in the town and
polished his shoes. This man likes to travel around the world to see
soccer. Aoi then told him to go to San Siro Stadium to watch him playing
for Inter Milan Primavera. The man shocked to know that there's a
Japanese who played for Serie-A Primavera.
- Again, no need for advices. Your players are good and don't change
Aoi, Matteo, or Hernandez. To tighten the defense, you can change the
position into 4-5-1 with Aoi as the striker.
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
--------------
This time, Aoi gets new special moves: Shinkansen Shot. Non Stop Shot
also works here but again, always press L1 + R1 very hard. Matteo's
special moves doesn't work very effective here. Just dribble the ball
with the other players and give it to Aoi to finish it. Don't waste
Aoi's stamina.
Gentile is a great player with two special moves. He played with
Hernandez in Italy Jr. Youth back then. You might won't be able to catch
his shot but try to press L1 + R1 very hard. Try to tackle his ball. His
mate, Takini, also have two special moves. Watch out for both attackers
as they might launch their special moves.
---------------
BATTLE PICTURES
---------------
- Only one that I found and extremely rare. I got it in extra round.
Juventus Primavera began to kick off and Aoi tackled the ball.
Immediately, Gentile tackled the ball from Aoi and Gentile will say
something.
---------------
AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
There are two versions of the story after the match.
If you win: Aoi fell to the ground (tired or shocked, I don't know)
although he won. His friends cheered up after winning. Gentile, although
lost to Aoi, stared at Aoi coldly before he went.
If you lose: Aoi will fell to the ground. Gentile will say something to
him (something like: "If you can only running to and fro, apes'
offspring also can do it"). Aoi became angry and cried.
Try to win the match. If you lose, you won't be able to have a battle
with Street Team. If you don't battle Street Team, you won't get perfect
ending. If you don't get perfect ending, you won't get secret teams!!
The story now goes to Maracana Stadium, in Brazil. Tsubasa was standing
in the stadium with Sao Paulo FC's costume, number 10. He went to Brazil
and joined Sao Paulo three years ago. He showed his talents and he was
chosen as the captain. Now he is having a final match with CR Flamengo.
Tsubasa found out from a magazine that Brazil's great player, Carlos
Santana, played in CR Flamengo. Santana was nicknamed "Soccer's Cyborg".
- Your players are OK but there's a great defender in your bench, number
his stamina equals to half of Tsubasa's stamina. His face is very creepy
like zombie but he's great. You might want to use him and he's a SGDF.
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
--------------
Though in the anime or in the manga the battle looks very hard, in this
game, NO. Why? Because the opponent's goalkeeper is very weak and your
striker, Georgenio, can use Long Shot and Drive Shot!! Tsubasa also
mastered Flying Drive Shot this time. One of your MF also great (he's
SGMF), he can use Middle Shot and Banana Shot.
Your enemy's best player, Santana, can use an Overhead special move, and
his friend, Leo, can only use Long Shot. Actually, Santana has Golden
Eagle Shot and Flying Drive Shot (man!!) also but CPU's too stupid to
use special moves. Leo also can use Middle Shot. CPU usually only use
standard moves.
As I said before, the match is easy. Just score many times with Drive
Shots and tackles Santana and Leo, as their shots are hard to catch.
------------
BATTLE CARDS
------------
- I think only one. Rule the game with two goals (2-0, 3-1, 4-2, etc.).
Make CR Flamengo get the kick-off after the score become 2-0, 3-1, etc.
After Santana gives the ball to Leo, he will say something.
The story came to Japan. In Japan Youth Training Camp, Matsuyama told
Ishizaki that there are some people playing soccer in their camp.
Ishizaki shouted at them and two people (number 11, Foreman and number
12, Ikeda) asked Ishizaki where's Tsubasa. One of their player (number
9, Asaka) kicked the ball to Ikeda. Ikeda avoided but Ishizaki's face
hit the ball. Hyuga kicked back the ball and the ball went beside
Asaka's face. Both of them will have a match!!
Hyuga gets Neo Tiger Shot and new Twin Shot with Sawada. Nitta gets Long
Hayabusha Shot. Sawada gets Twin Shot with Hyuga. Matsuyama gets Golden
Eagle Shot. Ishizaki gets Banana Shot. Jido gets Sklyab Twin Shot with
Masao and Kazuo. Masao and Kazuo get Skylab Twin Shot with Jido and new
combination: Galaxy Attack. Many players get new special moves and you
can use on this battle!!
Try to score with Hyuga's Tiger Shot initially. If they retaliate, try
to tackle the ball and give to Hyuga, Nitta, and Sawada. Try to perform
Hyuga and Sawada's Twin Shot to get perfect rate of scoring. Try Nitta's
Long Hayabusha Shot also. As for defense, don't try to overlap your DFs
because Street Team has 4 forwards!! 3 players of them (Asaka, Hibiki,
and Foreman) have a very strong standard special moves, Death Crash. I
think Wakashimazu can't catch it, neither Morisaki, so keep scoring and
tackle every dribble of them.
wanted to.
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
--------------
This match is an easy one since Tsubasa is here. As usual, Drive Shot is
your main weapon. Other shots also work except weak ones. Their
attackers, Kaiser, Lensebling, and Klinsmann, will usually use Long or
Middle Shot. Try to catch it with Wakashimazu. Twin Shots of Tsubasa,
Misaki, Hyuga, and Sawada works very effectively also. You can win this
match 15-0 more with Drive Shots, Tiger Shots, and Twin Shots. Try
Hayabusha, Kamisori, Power, and Eagle Shot also.
---------------
BATTLE PICTURES
---------------
- I don't know but when Klismann scored and the score became 3-2 for
Japan Youth, there's a picture of him saying something and showing his
fist. Maybe you must let him score to get that picture
- Let Klinsmann get a pass in the middle of the field and one of the
spectators will say something (actually, he's Brian Cruyyford, the real
captain of Holland Youth).
---------------
AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
Japan Youth players cheered for their winning. Holland Youth felt
disappointed and Cruyyford came to the field and performed his "Illusion
Strike". Kaiser, Lensenbling, Klinsmann, Dick, and Dormann couldn't
block his shot. Wakabayashi then told Tsubasa about Cruyyford. The place
changes to Japan Airport. Hyuga, Wakashimazu, Sawada, Jido, Soda,
Ishizaki, and Misaki said goodbye to Tsubasa (he's going to Brazil).
Before going, Sanae met Tsubasa then she also said goodbye.
Chapter IV
==========
---------
7th Match
---------
This story takes place in Japan Youth Training Camp. Minato Gamo, an old
friend of Tetsuo Mikami (Wakabayashi's private coach. Remember? He's
Japan Youth's coach), challenged Japan Youth with his team, RJ7 (Real
Japan Seven), consisted of 7 players (actually, the Japanese man Aoi met
in Milan was Gamo). Gamo also said, if RJ7 wins, they will enter Japan
Youth. Hyuga refused and said that the team that wins the match will
become the member of Japan Youth, meaning if Hyuga cs. lost to them, 7
players from Japan Youth must be sent out!! The captain of RJ7, Noboyuki
Yumikura, accepted what Hyuga had said.
Actually, this is bad for Japan because Wakashimazu has left Japan Youth
and played for Yokohama Fyugerls, one of J-League teams. Wakabayashi
also suffered injury in both hands because of Brian Cruyyford of Holland
and Stefan Levin of Sweden. That means......Morisaki must play!! And
Tsubasa also still in Brazil. Who will win?
-----------------------
Do you know what's above? It's the edit formation picture =>! The dots
are blank places and the alphabets resemble the positions (G= GK, D=DF,
M=MF, and F=FW). Like this you can tackle the enemies before they launch
a shot.
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
--------------
This match I call as semi-hard. Why? Their striker, Hino, has a very
great standard move with 25 points of power, Dragon Shot! Their captain,
Yumikura, has a Drive Shot!! Okano, a very speedy player!! Yoshikawa, a
great player with good standard move and also a rough player! Hanji
Urabe, Tsubasa and Ishizaki's friend!! Sakaki, great defender with high
stamina!! Yamada, a great goalkeeper that can catch all shots of your
team except Tiger Shot!! Can you imagine??????
OK, that's why I told you to edit your position. Tackle every dribble of
Hino, Yumikura, and Yoshikawa as they're the players that can use
special moves. Perform Hyuga's Tiger Shot every time you get the chance
and also Hyuga + Sawada's Twin Shot. Power, Eagle, Hayabusha, or Banana
Shot won't work here. After sometimes, Tiger Shot also become immune to
him. All RJ7's standard move can't be catch by Morisaki, so tackle each
and every attack of them. Give the ball to Hyuga after you see a clear
path to give a pass because sometimes Sakaki or Yoshikawa will intercept
it. And sometimes, your enemies can score with a normal kick because
their powers are very powerful and Morisaki is quite dumb. They can even
score from a free kick!
------------
BATTLE CARDS
goals, Matsuyama will say something.
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
--------------
This is the hardest match ever. Your best player is Soda and his
standard move: Kamisori Shot, can be caught by Yamada as well as
Tachibanas' Long and Middle Shot and Ishizaki's Banana Shot. However,
you can use Skylab Hurricane to score ONCE but what happen if
Hino/Yumikura/Yoshikawa score? The solution is up there and I will write
it once again:
- This is the hard way of scoring. The best way to score when the
opponent's goalkeeper is very great (second and third match against RJ7
in story mode for example) isn't by using standard/special moves (the GK
of RJ7 can catch all standard special moves when you're playing the
second and third time. Misugi's Drive Shot works sometimes.). You must
bring the ball near the spot at the penalty part, and press L2 OR R2
together with square button. The player will kick the ball beside the
GK. This is very hard, which means you must train first until you
mastered it (like me, heheh). To do this, the position of your team must
have only 1 forward (that's why I like 4-5-1). If you have more than one
striker, you can't do this because the moment you press square button,
the player will pass the ball to the other striker.
Remember this? Well, if you mastered this way, you can win the game
easily. I have nothing to say but block every attack of RJ7 before they
launch their shots because once they use their standard special moves,
Morisaki won't be able to catch it. Give the ball to Masao after you see
a clear path to give a pass because sometimes Sakaki or Yoshikawa will
intercept it. Don't forget to guard Okano also because he can also score
from a free kick.
Yes, you're right, and he's Jun Misugi. He's totally recovered and he
got new shot: Drive Shot. You can score with Drive Shot sometimes
because the bald goalkeeper Yamada can catch it!
Use the way I told you before and make use of Sano's speed to give the
ball to Sorimachi and let Sorimachi scores. Give the ball to Sorimachi
after you see a clear path to give a pass because sometimes Sakaki or
Yoshikawa will intercept it. Don't forget to guard all attackers because
Do you notice that your opponent is Sao Paulo FC? Yeah, Sau Paulo FC
came to Japan to become Japan Youth's training opponent. However,
without Tsubasa, they're nothing because their attackers are only
Georgenio and Anthony. Try to score with Tsubasa and Matsuyama, because
neither Hyuga nor Nitta is there. Georgenio will usually attack with his
Long Shot and Morisaki won't be able to catch it so guard him and score
- Don't forget to switch Izawa to Tsubasa.
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
--------------
The battle's not too hard, I think. Always take the ball from Lo-Wei and
Wei Fon because they might use their standard special moves and Morisaki
will have a hard time catching the ball. The tactic's the same as
before, score with Tsubasa's Drive Shot continuously, even it's the
cheapest way to win. You can use Sawada, Matsuyama, and Misugi's also.
Try to score with the hard but easy way also until you mastered it.
Even though Japan Youth won, the supporters said that it was really
close to lose. Wakashimazu went after the match ended, but Katagiri knew
he was watching the game and told him that his name was still in Japan's
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
Easy one since Tsubasa's there. Drive Shots work very effective and so
the Flying Drive Shots. Tighten the defense since many players of them
such as Asaka, Foreman, and Hibiki can use Death Crash. Morisaki is
worse than Wakashimazu. Not a very hard match, just attack with Drive
--------
Advices:
--------
- Sano and Sawada in place of Takasugi and Kishida if you want.
- Izawa's position to Tsubasa's for initial Drive Shot.
- Change the position to 4-5-1 if you desire.
- Look who's in the bench in the second round!!
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
--------------
Okay, in the manga, match with Thailand Youth is very hard!! But here,
quite easy......, why? Because CPU's too stupid to use Sepatacrow or
Daikuchu Rolling Spike and Chana and Sakun's standard move should be
easy to be catch by Morisaki by now. Bunnark is nothing special in
defense, unlike in the manga. He won't overlap also. Score as much as
you can with Tsubasa in the first round.
In the half time, access the team management and look who's in the
bench!! Shingo Aoi (level 33) and Genzo Wakabayashi (level 48, man!)!!
What else to do? Immediately put both of them in the team. Shingo Aoi's
Non Stop Shot and Shinkansen Shot work effectively and Wakabayashi is
very good!! You can win easily!
---------------
BATTLE PICTURES
---------------
- I think this one's hard. Bring the ball (with Tsubasa, I think) and
let Bunnark intercept (or tackle? forgot...) a pass and he will say
something (and overlap if I'm not forgotten).
- Before the kick-off of Thailand Youth started, there will be a picture
of Aoi saying something.
- After the above picture, Tsubasa will say something and I heard he
says "Nakahara" (Aoi's old team).
- Give Tsubasa a pass from Aoi and Aoi will say something.
---------------
AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
After the match, Aoi will run along the field and all the Japan Youth
players will cheer up. The story will be flashbacked when Sanae met
Tsubasa in the airport.
----------
14th Match
----------
The Japan Youth players that were sent out will be playing again with
RJ7!! Who'll win?
--------------------
Japan Youth A VS RJ7
--------------------
Japan Youth A's players (Captain: 9. FW Kojiro Hyuga):
FW 9 Hyuga
MF 18 Nitta
MF 11 Misaki
MF 7 Soda
DF 2 Masao
DF 5 Jido
GK 3 Kazuo
RJ7's players:
FW 9 Hino
MF 10 Yumikura
MF 11 Okano
MF 7 Yoshikawa
DF 4 Urabe
DF 2 Sakaki
GK 1 Yamada
--------
Advices:
--------
- Just edit the position again like this:
-----------------------
|...|.....|.....|.....|
|...|.....|.....|.....|
|...|.....|.....|.....|
|...|.....|.....|.....|
|...|.....|M....|.....|
|...|....D|.....|.....|
|G..|.....|M....|..F..|
|...|....D|.....|.....|
|...|.....|M....|.....|
|...|.....|.....|.....|
|...|.....|.....|.....|
|...|.....|.....|.....|
|...|.....|.....|.....|
-----------------------
- Take a look who's the GK!! It's Kazuo Tachibana! Well, you can't do
nothing but he's better then Morisaki in my opinion. You don't believe
it? Believe it.
- Wow!! Check out the players' special moves!! Hyuga gets Raiju Shot!
Misaki gets Boomerang and Drive Shot!! Soda gets Double Shaving Shot!!
Jido gets Megaton Shot! Tachibana Brothers and Jido get Meteo Bomber!!
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
--------------
Another battle with RJ7! This time, it's easier because many players get
new special moves. Hyuga's Tiger Shot still works here, use Raiju Shot
if Tiger Shot isn't effective anymore. Try Soda's Double Shaving Shot
also. Misaki's Boomerang Shot can be catch sometimes. Jido's Megaton
Shot maybe works also, never try though.
Hino's Dragon Shot and Yumikura's Drive Shot are as good as ever but
Yoshikawa's Ikasama Shot can be catch be by Kazuo!! Believe it or not!
Just score as much as you can and tighten the defense as usual.
---------------
BATTLE PICTURES
---------------
- Make sure you're the one who score the first in the match (with Hyuga,
I think) and after that Hyuga will say something
- Score the second goal (you must lead the game after you score the
second goal like 2-0 or 2-1, I think with Hyuga again) and Hyuga will
say something.
---------------
AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
Hyuga and his friends will say something and Yumikura and the others
will say something also.
----------
15th Match
----------
Tsubasa, Hyuga, Misaki, and the others gathered and Gamo will say
something. He will give them a training opponent!! And guess who? It's
Dream Team (yes, it's the name)!! Consist of: Gino Hernandez (Italy),
Herman Karltz (Germany), Shinpurasado Bunnark (Thailand), Faran
Konsawatto (Thailand), Sakun Konsawatto (Thailand), Juan Diaz
(Argentina), Earl Cid Pierre (France), Chana Konsawatto (Thailand), Alan
Pascal (Argentina), Karl Heinz Schneider (Germany), and Louis Napoleon
(France)!!
MF 2 Chana
MF 11 Pierre
MF 9 Diaz
DF 3 Sakun
DF 5 Faran
DF 4 Bunnark
DF 8 Karltz
GK 1 Hernandez
--------
Advices:
--------
- Your team's good, no need changes. However, you might want to change
Ishizaki to Sawada because of Sawada's Twin Shot with Hyuga. Change also
Morisaki to Wakashimazu.
- Look at Tsubasa's special moves!! New move: Flying Phoenix!!
--------------
BATTLE TACTICS
--------------
Whoa! The match is really great! Just take a look at those players!
Schneider, Pierre, Diaz, Bunnark, Hernandez, and the others! Many of
them get new moves (look at the movelists section). Not only Hyuga and
the others, Tsubasa also gets new move: Flying Phoenix, the enhanced
move of Flying Drive Shot. Beware that in this match you can't score
easily because Hernandez can catch even Flying Drive Shot and Raiju
Shot!
However, Wakabayashi will have a hard time catching Schneider's Non-
Fire, Pascal's Long Shot, Napoleon's Cannon Shot, and others' shots. So,
after the match is getting started, launch Flying Phoenix immediately.
Add some goals also with Twin Shots and the easy but hard way of
scoring.
---------------
BATTLE PICTURES
---------------
Some opponents will say something after they score. As far as I know:
- Napoleon
- Pascal
- Diaz
- Use Shingo Aoi to launch a normal shot (X button) and let Hernandez
catch it and Aoi will say something and I heard he said "Gino"
- After the above picture, Hernandez will also say something and I heard
he said "Shingo".
---------------
AFTER THE MATCH
---------------
After the match, Gamo will have a conversation with Katagiri about Japan
Youth.
