This is the first & finished FAQ I made. It has some mini walkthroughs on each course to guide you on winning races. It may also have spoilers. It has 0 shortcuts & traps, 1 Wall Booster*. To win (mini walkthrough): You may bomboost jump* before going to the Wall Booster, just be sure you're not too near or far from it. Bomboost* also after Wall Boosting. You can either wall jump* or dash on the 2 last curves. (=+1.2) Bomber Coaster Race 2nd Track (100GB;2500GB). 2 shortcut, 1 trap, 1 Wall Booster. Practice your jumping here. The 1st shortcut is simply jumping above the fountain after passing the Wall Booster. 2nd shortcut is in there, too. Wall Boost, jump over the fountain, then you'll see a very small road. Be ready to jump on its end! The trap is falling into the water. To win: Use either of the shortcuts above. (=+1.3) Wacca Isl Beach Side 3rd Track (400GB;3400GB). 2 shortcut, 1 trap, 1 Wall Booster. I think it's spelled like that, as the game said. (no 'e' on Isl) The 1st shortcut is actually not known as a shortcut, but have 3 Eggs in it. It is done to have 3 Eggs, avoid tackled by Tree Bombs, and preparing for shortcut 2 (Louies only), or any other purpose further made. To go there, wall jump on the stone before the Tree Bombs then jump again. This shortcut is the BEST shortcut of all shortcuts. After the Tree Bombs or shortcut1, you'll see those 5 rocks in the water. Wall Jump on the rock w/ the picture facing at you, wall jump, wall jump, wall jump, and wall jump. The trap is falling into the water. To win: If you are a beginner or novice at doing the shortcut2, do it AT THE FINAL LAP. If you fall into the water, then just wish you can have a Time Stopper item along the way and/or use your Rocket Bomb. Then do a Wall Jump at the first accessible wall instead of dashing. (=+1.4) Bazukan Ski Course 4th Course (900GB;9000GB). 1 shortcut, 3 Traps (not including ice/slippery areas), 3 Wall Boosters. Test your dashing & jumping skills here! Still think there ain't a shortcut here, eh? Well, I found it when I was 'falling' w/ 'very slow speed' at the 'very tip/end of the skiing part'. But I don't recommend going into this one. 1st trap is falling into the water. 2nd is falling in the end of a p-area* then going back in the beginning of the p-area. 3rd is falling while skiing. To win: At the beginning, run through the slippery areas to boost speed nearest to the snowy side instead of going straight to the Wall Booster by running through the snowy side. (which will slow you down) If you can see the Wall Booster, go to the snowy side and Wall Boost. Bomboost jump yourself up when you're very near to trap2 to ensure safety from falling down. You may jump when you're near the end of the skiing part to avoid slipping and falling on the side, but you'll be slowed down. (=+1.5) Star Express 5th Track (1500GB;12000GB). 1 shortcut, 2 traps, 1 Wall Booster. Dash through most parts here. The shortcut here is moderately easy to find. After the Wall Boost, you'll see 4 sloped red arrows pointing you to go straight. Instead, slowly go into the arrows then you'll be able to go here. Just don't bump on the wall near the first arrow. Those 2 traps are the Electrocuters. One near the beginning (Electro Laser), one near the end (UFO). To win: Avoid being electrocuted by Electro Lasers by going to the side then jump, or simply going straight through it by jumping w/o Acceleration*. Use the shortcut. To avoid the UFO Lasers, go in the middle of the road & avoid it, (as much as possible) or just go to any side. (=+1.6) Dyna Mountain 6th Track (3000GB;14000GB). 2 shortcuts, traps, and Wall Boosters. My favourite place on making faces of your player & pet! Dash on most parts here, too. See the big arrows after passing the Landmines? Instead of going right, go straight to the blue road w/ a curve in the end. Jump on the curved part or fall. 2nd one is with water after passing shortcut1. You can just fall or Wall Kick* on the wall to maintain speed. The 1st trap is them Landmines at the beginning. To avoid them, dash at the center or run in the landmine-free side. 2nd is falling freely on most sides. To win: Go straight between those landmines. (jump if you need to) Don't use the first Wall Booster. Jump on the moving-water-w/-2-rocks part. Either dash, run, or Wall Jump after passing moving water. (=+1.7) Bomber Castle The stage with many curves (4600GB;20000GB). 1 shortcut, 5 traps, 3 Wall Boosters The shortcut is located in the right side (left side in mirror mode)(as seen on the map), as the arrow said, after the zig-zag maze. To go there, Wall Jump on the arrow's point then go left, jump when you're near to the wall, then wall boost, Wall Boost, WALL BOOST until you get to the green floor again. 1st trap- fall into the water 2nd- fall freely 3rd- float bomb explodes when touched 4th- big bomb explosion when a button is stepped on 5th- landmines near the end To win: Slow down your pet while turning on the curve after passing through the first set of items. Don't run & accelerate until you have your sight straight to the far wall w/o bumping on the sides. Slow down while turning or just dash on the beginning of the maze part. Slow down again at the 2nd Egg item, make the way clear to the far wall (fitting your pet in w/o bumping) then run. You'll eventually bump on the wall at the end of the maze, just continue running. Do the shortcut. After the shortcut, slow down on the curve part if you're using a Louie. Avoid the float bombs. Get an Egg item. You may push the last button and get out of there fast if there's someone behind you (use the Tyra Egg and push all buttons if you want >). Use the Louie Egg then dash or run when you're on the curve part. Avoid the landmines. (=+1.8) Highway Star Road Think you're finished after those Normal & Mirrored Tracks, eh? Well, Now you will know how to reveal this secret track (10000GB). Continue Reading! To reveal, finish all the tracks, (normal & mirror) buy all the pets, and have the 100000GB ticket payment ready. If you accomplished it all, go to the Course Select. Push right 2 times then the cursor will point at the Rocket Ship near Star Express. Select it, buy its ticket, then race in the "Super Chicken Course", if you know what I mean. And don't forget to buy 2 Rocket Bombs or Rocket Bomb & Skates. Very easy in viewing the whole track, no? Well it has neither any shortcut, trap, nor Wall Booster and this time it's only you & your pet. Your opponent can gain at you in seconds, so you have to make it to your fullest! To Win: You can use either the Black Louie or the King Tyra (recommended) here. When you start to run at the end of the 2nd beep, hold a bomb then throw it to your foe w/ the fastest pet of the 4 of them when the race starts. Try to avoid the triple bombs (if someone used it). Run on the side because someone may use P-Bomb. You may or Bomboost Jump on the 3rd set of items (don't worry about bumping). After the 4th set of items, hold a bomb to fulling 2 1/2 or 3 gauges then throw on the straight lane to make the leader (not 'leader' as in boss) suffer on speed. Just run, throw bombs, use items you got, and you might take the lead. If not, go in to the Final Lap. If you're still not leading before the 3rd set of items, use your (1st) Rocket Bomb & Skates. If you lead, hold your 2nd Rocket Bomb in case another opponent leads (if you purchased 2 Rocket Bombs). That's it, you win! (n_n) (=+2) Bonus Stage (in GB) Course Name Time (mirror) 100 Bonus 100 Bonus (mirror) Bomber Circuit 70 300 1000 Bomber Coaster Race 80 500 2000 Wacca Isl Beach Side 70 700 3000 Bazukan Ski Course 120 2000 4000 Star Express 90 2000 5000 Dyna Mountain 100 3000 6000 Bomber Castle 100 5000 10000 Highway Star Road N/A N/A N/A (0o0) (=+3) Others (=+3.1) Tips/Techniques -Bomboost Everywhere! -Bomboost Jump only when there is no ceiling. -Do a combo of Bomboost-Jump-Wall Kick everytime you Bomboost Jump. -Always run near the side of where you're heading. (left or right) -Always dash on deep curves even if your stamina is getting full already. -Slow down by releasing X button shortly when you can't do it by only dashing. -In doing the wall jump/kick/boost, always push the jump button before hitting the wall. -In great speeds (wall boost/bomboost), you can instantly stop yourself simply by releasing X button. Notice how your pet breaks? -Buy 2 Rocket Bombs or a Rocket Bomb & Time Bomb in hard races. Use them NEAR THE FINISH LINE (final lap) to slow the leading down. -You can also keep a Time Stopper bringing it to the final lap & use it when your opponent is near the finish line. -Your opponent is ALWAYS faster than normal speed when you're leading against them, and ALWAYS moderately slow when they're leading against you. If you use Skates often, use them near the finish line. -You can hold the bomb a bit to aim & throw it to where your opponent is going. -Don't be frustrated after playing so many races already & still isn't a 1st Placer. -Experimenting with the 3 different camera angles can also help you race on your full potential. (=+3.2) Extras Funny Faces: Make'em flat by running/bomboosting straight on a wall (hard to do with Tyras, but they'll bounce instead) Bomber Coaster/Castle Relationship: On the start of Bomber Castle, you'll notice that it's in the same place as the Bomber Coaster. The location of it in Bomber Coaster is from where you see a big door (as the entrance) to the 2nd door you'll see. (as the exit) Evidence? The light poles lighted, water, floor design, poles in the water, wall design, the red house on the water, and the two doors opened! (=+3.3) Words With * Wall Booster - color yellow w/ paw sign; Wall Jump to boost speed Bomboost - throw a bomb a little in front of you and boost speed Bomboost Jump - a bomboost while jumping Wall Jump - jump then kick on the wall Wall Kick - kicking the wall while free falling Acceleration - pushing up button and thus use stamina to run faster (^o^) (=+4) Credits -First, I want to thank Hudson for making such an addicting race game, Bomberman Fantasy Race. -Me for creating this fun game a Guide to help you people from being frustrated in racing.
