Intro Hello, and welcome to a FAQ for Armored Core: Master of Arena. In this FAQ I will cover how to make your AC look like the completely awesome Gundams from the newly popular (in America) series, Gundam Wing. I'll explain which parts you need and what colors to have to make them look the most like the Gundams. Gundam Wing just happens to be one of my favorite Animes, and I bought AC: MOA becuase of the similar concepts. I have known about AC for a few years when I got the sample of the first one. I just never got around to buying it. Recently my friend said that he got AC: MOA and that it was "...the most phenomenal game I have ever played." Soon enough I saved up my cash and bought it. Of course, being the big Gundam fan I am, I decided to make some great looking Gundam Wing AC's. Now that it has become so popular in America thanks to Cartoon Network, I figured I would make a nice FAQ for it. By the way this is my first and maybe only FAQ ever. BUT, before you check out the FAQ go to... "http://www.cashfiesta.com/php/join.php?ref=Orochi-Sephiroth". It's a program that makes you money just for being online. It doesn't cost you money and the more you stay online the more money you make. You can also tell other people about it and make yourself more money whenever they go online. Just thought I'd make you some free money. ANYWAY here is the FAQ... II. Background Info A. Armored Core As you may or may not know (or care) Armored Core was first released in America around 1997 by From Software Inc. It was a great game and a huge hit among Playstation fans. Soon enough a sequal came out. Armored Core: Project Phantasma had more parts, more missions and more game modes. Finally in 1999 they released the third and final (for Playstation that is...) game in the series. There will be an Armored Core 2 coming out for Playstation 2 sometime in late 2000 or 2001. I have seen pictures from it and the graphics for it completely blow away the graphics on AC: MOA. But then again what did you expect from PS2? B. Gundam Wing Well, back in 1979 (I wasn't even a though in my parents mind...) the original Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam, was released in Japan. Since then a total of 15 (yep, 15 count 'em) Gundam series have been released. They are Z Gundam, Gundam ZZ, Char's Counterattack, Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, Gundam F91, Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, Gundam 0083: Last Blitz of Zeon, Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Gundam Wing, Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz (only 3 episodes long), V Gundam, G Gundam, Gundam X and Turn A Gundam. Wow, that's a lot of Anime. Just recently they have released the dubbed Gundam Wing in America. In a month it has become watched almost as much as Dragon Ball Z in America. Anyway, enough with the background info, onto the AC Gundams! III. Gundam Wing AC's To make these AC's you need pretty much every part in the game. You don't need any special codes or anything like that, just all of the parts. Also you can put whatever Optional parts you want on it. Note: I was mainly going for look over performance so if the AC well, sucks, that's why. A. Wing Gundam 1. Info The Gundam Wing is piloted by Heero Yuy, the main character, and its main weapon is a huge Buster Rifle that shoots huge energy blasts. That's why it has the huge gun. It also uses its Beam Saber quite a bit and is very skilled. This AC needs lots and lots of work, so if you have a better Wing or Wing Zero (for those of you who know Gundam Wing) AC, e-mail me the info on it (parts, colors, etc.) at DeathScytheCZero@aol.com. B. Gundam Death Scythe 1. Parts Head: HD-4004 Core: XXA-SO Arms: AN-25 Legs: LN-1001 Generator: GRD-RX5 FCS: RATOR Boosters: B-PT000 Back Weap. L: n/a Back Weap. R: WX-C/4 L. Arm Weap: LS-1000W R. Info This Gundam is piloted by the comic relief of the Gundam group, Duo Maxwell. This is my favorite Gundam. Its main weapon is actually a scythe (that thing that the Grim Reaper carries around) with an energy blade. This is unfortunately not available as one of the weapons in this game. So I gave him the Blade that shoots out and a pulse rifle instead. The laser cannons on the back are there simply because with them on it looks more like the actual Death Scythe. In my opinion, this is the best out of the bunch I made. Also I gave him the LN-1001 legs instead of the LN-1001B legs because they look more , if not exactly, like Death Scythe's legs. C. Gundam Heavy Arms 1. Parts Head: HG-G870 Core: XXL-D0 Arms: AW-GT2000 Legs: LN-SSVR Generator: GBG-XR FCS: RATOR Boosters: B-PT000 Back Weap. L: WM-X201 Back Weap. R: WM-PS-2 L. Arm Weap: n/a R. Info This heavily armed (not intended to be a joke...) Gundam is piloted by the mysterious Trowa Barton. It's main weapon is a huge gatling gun on one of its arms. Unfortunately there is no option to put one gatling gun on one arm so I had to improvise and put one on each. It also hordes loads and loads of missles. In my opinion this is a great AC. Besides the fact that it looks like Heavy Arms, it is pretty damn powerful. D. Gundam Sandrock 1. Parts Head: HD-ZERO Core: XXA-S0 Arms: AN-3001 Legs: LN-S3 Generator: GRD-RX6 FCS: RATOR Boosters: B-VR-33 Back Weap. L: WM-AT Back Weap. R: RZ-Fw2 L. Arm Weap: LS-99-MOONLIGHT R. Info This Gundam is piloted by the peaceful Quatre (pronounced Cach-ra) Raberba Winner. Its main weapons are two short blades that look like sickles. He also has a machine gun. The AC is pretty slow but it has a rating of SuperFine. I was amazed when it got that rating. It does have lots of AP and high defense. In my opinion it is too slow, but the weapons do make up for it. The game has a gun for its hand that is like the one Sandrock has, but it weighs too much to fit. So, I stuffed him off with a pulse rifle. This Gundam could use a little work so that it can hold the WG-AR1000 machine gun. I figured out one modification, but it means that you need to change the arms to lighter ones that don't look like Sandrock's arms. You can change the arms to AN-101 and the gun to WG-AR1000. The result is that it has the gun but not the arms that look like Sandrock's. Either way the performance is still SuperFine. E. Shen-Long Gundam 1. Parts Head: HD-4004 Core: XCL-01 Arms: AN-25 Legs: LN-1001B Generator: GRD-RX5 FCS: RATOR Boosters: BP-351 Back Weap. L: n/a Back Weap. R: WX-S800-GF L. Arm Weap: LS-99-MOONLIGHT R. Arm Weap: WG-FGI-00 2. Colors Head Base: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Optional: R: 25 G: 0 B: 0 Detail: R: 0 G: 22 B: 0 Joint: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Core Base: R: 44 G: 44 B: 0 Optional: R: 30 G: 30 B: 0 Detail: R: 30 G: 30 B: 0 Joint: R: 0 G: 0 B: 40 Arms Base: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Optional: R: 0 G: 0 B: 40 Detail: R: 0 G: 30 B: 0 Joint: R: 27 G: 27 B: 27 Legs Base: R: 40 G: 0 B: 0 Optional: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Detail: R: 45 G: 45 B: 45 Joint: R: 0 G: 0 B: 40 3. Info Shen-Long Gundam is piloted by the very skilled Chang Wufei. His Gundam has a very high close range fighting skill. One of its hands is like a dragon and it can extend as well as shoot flames. His other weapon is a beam glaive, or a stick with a little energy blade coming out of one side. Wow, you should have seen the Shen-Long that I originally made, boy did it suck compared to this one. It practically had no weapons because the arms were weighing it down. It had bigger arms before but I changed 'em. I gave this AC the flame shell over the flame thrower because in my opinion the flame thrower is totally useless. Again this game does not have a weapon like this Gundam's, so I gave him a good beam saber. This AC could use a little work to look more like Shen- Long, so e-mail me if you have any ideas. (DeathScytheCZero@aol.com) F. Tall-Geese 1. Parts Head: HD-GRY-NX Core: XXA-S0 Arms: AN-101 Legs: LNKS-1B46J Generator: GBG-XR FCS: RATOR Boosters: B-PT000 Back Weap. L: WC-IR24 Back Weap. R: RX-Fw2 L. Arm Weap: LS-99-MOONLIGHT R. Arm Weap: WG-1-KARASAWA 2. Colors Head Base: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Optional: R: 51 G: 51 B: 41 Detail: R: 28 G: 0 B: 0 Joint: R: 25 G: 22 B: 25 Core Base: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Optional: R: 25 G: 22 B: 25 Detail: R: 39 G: 39 B: 0 Joint: R: 25 G: 22 B: 25 Arms Base: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Optional: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Detail: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Joint: R: 25 G: 22 B: 25 Legs Base: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 Optional: R: 25 G: 22 B: 25 Detail: R: 25 G: 22 B: 25 Joint: R: 51 G: 51 B: 51 3. Info This Mobile Suit is not really a Gundam because it's not made out of Gundanium. It is piloted by one of the head figures in OZ, Zechs Marquise aka Milliard Peacecraft. The Mobile Suit's main weapon is a pretty large gun that shoots small shots of powerful energy. It also has a beam saber like every other Gundam/Mobile Suit. I gave him the Karasawa because he doesn't have the same gun as Wing and I thought it looked more like his gun. This AC has great power and it resembles the Tall-Geese a lot in my opinion. IV.
