This upgrade will simply add on to the amount of damage that their weapons do. This is a worthwhile upgrade if a substantial part of your fighting force is made up of infantry units, otherwise don't bother with it. Of course once you get a substantial amount of money you can grab this upgrade just as a little more insurance but it is best to just stay away from this unless you plan on using infantry as your attack force. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Infantry Armor -- ---------------------- Minerals : 100, 175, 250 Vespene Gas : 100, 175, 250 Location : Engineering Bay Units Affected : - Marine - Firebat - Ghost Once again this is just an unnecessary upgrade unless you want to attack primarily with infantry units. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- U-238 Shells -- -------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Academy Units Affected : - Marine This does have a use. This upgrade will upgrade the distance that Marines will fire at an enemy. If you have a lot of bunker defenses this will definitely make your defenses stronger since thay can attack the enemy at a greater range than before. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Stim Packs -- ------------------ Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Academy Units Affected : - Marine - Firebat - Ghost This upgrade will allow your infantry units to attack at shorter intervals. They won't have to go through the entire cooldown period before attacking again. This is useful in any defense or offense because your Marines will be able to do much more damage than before. This is especially useful in a Bunker defense since your Marines will be able to take out a huge number of attacking enemies before they can do any appreciable damage to the Bunker. This makes attacking your base a complete nightmare. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Vehicle Weapons -- ----------------------- Minerals : 100, 175, 250 Vespene Gas : 100, 175, 250 Location : Armory Units Affected : - SCV - Siege Tank - Goliath - Vulture This upgrade will affect your vehicle units such as the SCV and Vulture. What it will do is add on to the damage that they do when attacking. If a unit has two attacks, one for ground units and one for air units, then this upgrade will upgrade both of them although they won't be upgraded equally. One attack may gain more damage than the other. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Vehicle Plating -- ----------------------- Minerals : 100, 175, 250 Vespene Gas : 100, 175, 250 Location : Armory Units Affected : - SCV - Siege Tank - Goliath - Vulture This upgrade will affect all the vehicles you have. It will upgrade all of their armor plating so that they can take more abuse from the enemy while taking less actual damage. If a vehicle already has a layer of armor then this upgrade will just add onto the armor that they already have. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ship Weapons -- -------------------- Minerals : 100, 150, 200 Vespene Gas : 100, 150, 200 Location : Armory Units Affected : - Wraith - BattleCruiser - Valkyrie All of your air units will be upgraded so that they can deal out more damage to the enmy with their attacks. As with the Vehicle Weapons if a unit has more than one attack for either ground or air units then both will be upgraded even if not at the same level. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ship Plating -- -------------------- Minerals : 150, 225, 300 Vespene Gas : 150, 225, 300 Location : Armory Units Affected : - Wraith - Dropship - Valkyrie - BattleCruiser - Science Vessel This upgrade protects all your air units against damage dished out by the enemy. Works exactly the same way as the Vehicle Plating. One thing to note, if a vessel aalready has a level of armor this will just add one level onto what it already has. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Cloaking Field -- ---------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Control Tower Units Affected : - Wraith This is perhpas one of the best upgrades that you can provide for your Wraiths. This upgrade will allow your Wraiths to cloak themselves against enemy vision. This will serve to hide them from enemy attacks, if the enemy can't see your units they can't attack them. The only way that the enemy will be able to see cloaked Wraiths is if they bring in a detector unit or if your Wraiths stray to close to one of the anti-air buildings, the Missile Turret, Spore Colony, and Photon Cannon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Apollo Reactor -- ---------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Control Tower Units Affected : - Wraith This is a great upgrade if you plan on using cloaked Wraiths at all. This will allow your Wraiths to build up a higher amount of special energy, which they will use to cloak themselves. This will let them stay cloaked longer if the higher special energy is left to accumulate. Remember, this doesn't instantly give them more it just gives them the potential to get more. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ion Thrusters -- --------------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Machine Shop Units Affected : - Vulture This upgrade will boost the power of the Vulture's thrusters so that it can move around faster. This is useful so that you can build a Vulture that can scout around the map incredibly fast even if you aren't going to use it for attacks. That is mainly what I use this upgrade for, scouting, since I never use Vultures when attacking. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Spider Mines -- -------------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Machine Shop Units Affected : - Vulture This upgrade will give your Vulture units the abilty to carry around Spider Mines. Spider Mines are just little mines that the vulture drops off where he wishes. When they are dropped off they burrow into the ground so that they can be invisible to the enemy. When it senses an enemy nearvy it will unburrow and attack dealing out huge amounts of damage. Use this upgrade to plant mines in your enemy's path and around your outer perimeter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Charon Boosters -- ----------------------- Minerals : 100 Gas : 100 Location : Machine Shop Units Affected : - Goliath This upgrade will enable your Goliath units to shoot their ground-to-air missiles much further than before. If you are planning to attack an enemy base make sure you have this. Or if you want to use Goliaths for defensive pruposes this will help a lot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Siege Tech -- ------------------ Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Machine Shop Units Affected : - Siege Tank Wan to know why the Siege Tank has the word "siege" in it? Well this upgrade will allow your tanks the ability to go into "siege mode". This is where they firmly attach themselves on the ground via two stabling arms on either side of it and be ready to attack units that are very far away on the map. This is useful for wreaking havoc on your enemy's base. If you plant one of these outside their base along with a few supporting units they can cause some insane destruction from very far away. Just be careful with this because the Siege Tank is very vulnerable to close range attacks as it only attacks long range. it is also very slow and bulky so it cannot avoid enemy attacks. Also be careful that they Siege Tank cannot move at all when it is in Siege Mode. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- EMP Shockwave -- --------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Science Facility Units Affected : - Science Vessel This upgrade will give the Science Vessel the ability to cast an Electro-Magnetic Pulse in all directions that will disable any mechanical or electronically powered units in its range. This is immensely useful against Protoss units and Terran vehicles and air units. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Irradiate -- ----------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Science Facility Units Affected : - Science Vessel This will allow your Science Vessel the ability to make a unit radioactive for a short period of time. This will give the unit about 250 hit points and will damage any unit that is nearby, given that it is an organic unit. This will last about 30 seconds before it wears off. Being an attack that only affects biological units it will be primarily an anti-Zerg unit although it can be used gainst Terran infantry units. You can also target buildings with this attack so it will be able to damage abny units close to it. This works well on Zerg hatcheries since that will be the nexus of their base. If you can target that then you will damage the building and the workers around it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Titan Reactor -- --------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Science Facility Units Affected : - Science Vessel This upgrade will affect your Science Vessels. It will allow them to have 250 energy points instead of 200. This extra 50 will give them the ability to use more special abilities such as Defense Matrix and Irradiate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Lockdown -- ---------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Covert Ops Units Affected : - Ghost This upgrade will give the Ghost an ability to completely stall out any mechanical unit that it targets. This will completely render it useless until the lockdown wears off. The unit will still be able to be attacke though so if one of your units gets locked down in enemy territory then you can kiss it goodbye. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ocular Implants -- ----------------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Covert Ops Units Affected : - Ghost This upgrade will let your Ghost units see very very far away. The main use for this is so that they can launch nukes from further away, that way they won't get caught in the blast and the enemy will have a greater area to search than if he had normal sight. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Moebius Reactor -- ----------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Covert Ops Units Affected : - Ghost This upgrade just gives your Ghost units an additional 50 energy storage to work with. If you only have a few Ghosts then this will let you do more with what little you have, casting more special spells and such. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Personal Cloaking -- ------------------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Covert Ops Units Affected : - Ghost This upgrade will let your Ghosts cloak themselves from the enmey. This is great for using nukes and sending out scouts. The only time that a cloaked unit can be revealed is if the enemy brings in a detector unit, otherwise he will stay hidden until he either runs out of eergy to power his cloak or you turn off thew cloak. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Yamato Gun -- ------------------ Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Physics Lab Units Affected : - Battle Cruiser This is basicaly an attack that will deal out a huge load of damage to whatever it hits. This upgrade is great for tkaing out buildings such as Command Centers, Hives, Nexuses, and any other building that the enemy can't survive without. This does take a little bit to charge up once you select the target so it will be vulnerable to attack while it is charging up. Only use this against buildings since it would be a complete waste against a unit of any size, worth, or power. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Colossus Reactor -- ------------------------ Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Physics Lab Units Affected : - Battle Cruiser This upgrade will net your Battle Cruisers an additional 50 energy to use. Only use this upgrade if you plan on building Battle Cruisers for the Yamato Gun, although it is a good thing to have just in case you do need it. ============================================================================== 1.2 Zerg Upgrades ============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Melee Attacks -- --------------------- Minerals : 100, 150, 200 Vespene Gas : 100, 150, 200 Location : Evolution Chamber Units Affected : - Zergling - Ultralisk This upgrade will enhance the danage of any melee attacks that your units do. This will only affect the Zergling and the Ultralisk when upgraded. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Carapace -- ---------------- Minerals : 150, 225, 300 Vespene Gas : 150, 225, 300 Location : Evolution Chamber Units Affected : - Drone - Zergling - Hydralisk - Broodling - Defiler - Ultralisk This strenghtnes th biological armour of your units. Therefore they will be able to take slightly more of a beating before being destroyed. Nifty, eh? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Missile Attacks -- ----------------------- Minerals : 100, 150, 200 Vespene Gas : 100, 150, 200 Location : Evolution Chamber Units Affected : - Drone - Hydralisk - Broodling This upgrade will up the damage rating that all your units' missile attacks do to enemy forces. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Burrow -- -------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Hatchery Units Affected : - Drone - Zergling - Hydralisk - Defiler This upgrade will allow most of your ground units to burrow under the ground. This is useful for hiding groups of units in different parts of the map since a burrowed unit an only be detected by a detector. Use this to help defend your base, attack enemy bases, and decieve your enemy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ventral Sacs -- -------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Lair Units Affected : - Overlord This allows your Overlords to pick up and carry your ground units. This is especialy good for island warfare or for straight line transportation of workers or for tactical air raids on enemy bases. For in-depth strategy see the Zerg Strategy section. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Antennae -- ---------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Lair Units Affected : - Overlord All this upgrade does is increase the sight range of your Overlord units. This is a great uprade for better surveillance over your surroundings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Pneumatized Carapace -- ---------------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Lair Units Affected : - Overlord This upgrade allows your Overlords to move around faster than before. This is especially useful for surveillance purposes (dash in and dash out -- a quick peek). This also is really good for transporting attacking units across the map quickly or right into an enemy stronghold without getting shotdown immediately. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Metabolic Boost -- ----------------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Spawning Pool Units Affected : - Zergling This is an upgrade that will enhance the performance of your Zergling's legs so that they can move around the map about twice as fast as before. Zerglings are weak units so it is important to get them close up to a unit and start attacking them before they can be destroyed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Adrenal Glands -- ---------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Spawning Pool Units Affected : - Zergling A good upgrade if you plan on using Zerglings. This upgrade allows them to use a melee attack much faster now and therefore doing more damage to that they are attacking. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Muscular Augments -- ------------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Hydralisk Den Units Affected : - Hydralisk This upgrade will allow your Hydralisks to move around faster. If you are trying to break through some heavy defenses then you will want your Hydralisks to get to the target as soon as possible so that they don't get destroyed before they can do any damage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Grooved Spines -- ---------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Hydralisk Den Units Affected : - Hydralisk This upgrade enhances the range of your Hydralisks' missile attack. In case you were wondering this means you can attack from further away. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Lurker Aspect -- --------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Hydralisk Den Units Affected : - Hydralisk Using this upgrade will turn any Hydralisk selected into a Lurker. Once the upgrade is done the Hydralisk is lost but if you cancel during you can still regain your Hydralisk. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Flyer Attacks -- --------------------- Minerals : 100, 175, 250 Vespene Gas : 100, 175, 250 Location : Spire Units Affected : - Mutalisk - Guardian - Devourer This upgrade enhances the damage that all of your attacking air units do to their targets. Therefore they will be able to dish out more damage than they normally do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Flyer Carapace -- ---------------------- Minerals : 150, 225, 300 Vespene Gas : 150, 225, 300 Location : Spire Units Affected : - Overlord - Mutalisk - Guardian - Devourer This increases the armor on your air units. This includes the Overlord althogh it does not attack it is still an air unit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Spawned Broodling -- ------------------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Queen's Nest Units Affected : - Queen If targeted at biological units this will allow the Queen to turn that unit into a friendly unit called a Broodling. Broodlings are weak units but they can be good to irritate your enemy by taking out some of their more expensive biological units. Broodlings can only last a maximum of 120 seconds and then they will die. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ensnare -- --------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Queen's Nest Units Affected : - Queen This upgrade gives the Queen the ability to cast over a large group of units a sticky chemical of some sort that will dramatically slow down their speed until it wears off. Use this on large groups of enemies and such because this will make them easier targets for you to pick off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Gamete Meiosis -- ---------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Queen's Nest Units Affected : - Queen This gives the Queen +50 energy. That means that when fully charged she can use more energy with special abilities. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Plague -- -------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Defiler Mound Units Affected : - Defiler If a Defiler is enabled with this ability then it will be able to cast a life sucking substance over buildings and any units that it touches. The Plague will decrease any units HP by 300 by the time it runs its course. If a unit has only 60 or so HP then it will stop affecting it when it reaches 1. This is perhaps the most useful ability of a Defiler since this will make enemy units incredibly easy to destroy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Consume -- --------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Defiler Mound Units Affected : - Defiler If your Defilers are low on energy they can be upgraded to consume other Zerg units to increase their energy supply. You had best use a Zergling because they are cheap and effective for this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Metasynaptic Node -- ------------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Defiler Mound Units Affected : - Defiler This upgrade increases the amount of energy a Defiler can have by 50. That means that they can do more and more of their special abilities before needing to recharge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Anabolic Synthesis -- -------------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Ultralisk Cavern Units Affected : - Ultralisk This allows your normally slow Ultralisks to move about with greater speed. This makes them formidible opponents when they can rush head on into a pack of enemies and start opening up some extra large cans of whoop-ass. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Chitinous Plating -- ------------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Ultralisk Cavern Units Affected : - Ultralisk This will increase the armor on an Ultralisk so that it can take more of a beating and still keep going. ============================================================================== 1.3 Protoss ============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ground Weapons -- ---------------------- Minerals : 100, 150, 200 Vespene Gas : 100, 150, 200 Location : Forge Units Affected : - Probe - Zealot - Dragoon - Dark Templar - High Templar - Archon This upgrade will enhance your gound weapons, therefore your ground units can deal out even more damage than before. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ground Armor -- -------------------- Minerals : 100, 175, 250 Vespene Gas : 100, 175, 250 Location : Forge Units Affected : - Probe - Zealot - Dragoon - Dark Templar - High Templar - Archon With this upgrade your ground units can take more of a beating. Since this upgrade enhances their armor they will be lasting longer than before in battle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Plasma Shields -- ---------------------- Minerals : 200, 300, 400 Vespene Gas : 200, 300, 400 Location : Forge Units Affected : - Probe - Zealot - Dragoon - Dark Templar - High Templar - Archon - Scout - Reaver - Carrier - Observer - Arbiter - Corsair All Protoss units have plasma shields so this will affect all your units. This is just an additional armor upgrade. Plasma shields divert some damage off of the targeted unit and lessens the blow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Air Weapons -- ------------------- Minerals : 100, 175, 250 Vespene Gas : 100, 175, 250 Location : Cybernetics Core Units Affected : - Carrier - Scout - Corsair With this upgrade all of your air units will be able to dish out more damage when they attack with any of their weapons. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Air Armor -- ----------------- Minerals : 150, 225, 300 Vespene Gas : 150, 225, 300 Location : Cybernetics Core Units Affected : - Carrier - Scout - Corsair - Observer - Arbiter This upgrade will allow your air units to take more damage than they could before by shielding them more efficiently than their previous armor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Singularity Charge -- -------------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Cyberbetics Core Units Affected : - Dragoon This upgrade allows the Dragoon to increase the tange that it can attack from. This means that Dragoons won't have to advance as far up as they had to before in order to attack an enemy and therefore saving them some damage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Leg Enhancements -- ------------------------ Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Citadel of Adun Units Affected : - Zealot This upgrade will allow your Zealots to move faster. This lets them advance quickly upon an enemy so that they can use their melee attack sooner. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Scarab Damage -- --------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Robotics Support Bay Units Affected : - Reaver With this upgrade your Reaver will spit out scarabs that do collossal damage to whatever it hits. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Reaver Capacity -- ----------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Robotics Support Bay Units Affected : - Reaver This upgrade increases the capacity of your Reaver from 4 scarabs to 8 scarabs. This means that you can leave your Reavers alone for a longer period of time before you have to order them to create more of them. This isn't anything more than a convenience upgrade. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Gravitic Drive -- ---------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Robotics Support Bay Units Affected : - Shuttle This upgrade boosts the power of your Shuttle's thruster so that it can putter around quicker. This means that it can zip past enemy defenses and make quick drops in enemy terriatory without taking as much damage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Psionic Storm -- --------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Templar Archives Units Affected : - High Templar With this upgrade your High Templars can now use a devestating Psionic Storm attack in which they cast out a sheet of electrical currents so that all the units it covers take a huge amount of damage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Hallucination -- --------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Templar Archives Units Affected : - High Templar This upgrade allows High Templars to create replicates that only serve to cloak your real attacking units. The hallucinated units will not be able to do damage they will just make the enemy destroy more units of yours and letting your real units do the real damage. this is a great tactic for confusing your enemy. Create an attack force of 100 or so scouts and then create hallucinations of half of them. Your enemy will be like, "liek oMg! hes cheetng!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Khaydarin Amulet -- ------------------------ Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Templar Archives Units Affected : - High Templar This gives your High Templars +50 energy storage. Now they can do an equivilent in additonal special attacks/abilities. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Mind Control -- -------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Templar Archives Units Affected : - Dark Archon This upgrade allows your Dark Archons to take complete control over a targeted unit. This basically means that you can mind control a zerg or terran worker and then have all three races under your control; with all three races under your control you can build up to 600 (or equivalent) in units so you can build a massively overwhelming army. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Maelstrom -- ----------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Templar Archives Units Affected : - Dark Archon This renders the targeted unit useless for about 60 seconds. Use this on enemy tanks, carriers, ultralisks and such. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Argus Talisman -- ---------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Templar Archives Units Affected : - Dark Archon This upgrade will give your Datk Archons +50 energy storage to use at your whim. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Apial Sensors -- --------------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Fleet Beacon Units Affected : - Scout This upgrade will increase the sight range of your Scout units. Coupled with the Gravitic Thrusters (below) they make excellent scouting units to quickly dash in and dash out of enemy bases or to scan ahead of your attack force or to just partol around your base. This helps the scout to perform the way its name indicates. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Gravitic Thrusters -- -------------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Fleet Beacon Units Affected : - Scout Coupled with the Apial Sensors (above) they make excellent scouting units to quickly dash in and dash out of enemy bases or to scan ahead of your attack force or to just partol around your base. This helps the scout to perform the way its name indicates. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Carrier Capacity -- ------------------------ Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Fleet Beacon Units Affected : - Carrier This upgrade boosts the Interceptor capacity of your Carriers. They can now hold 8 Interceptors rather than 4. Now they can more quickly damage units that they are attacking. In fact do the math, it doubles their attack capabilities. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Disruption Web -- ---------------------- Minerals : 200 Vespene Gas : 200 Location : Fleet Beacon Units Affected : - Corsair With this upgrade the Corsair will be able to cast an immobilizing electric cloud over enemy defenses such as Missile Turrets, Siege Tanks, Photon Cannons, and Spore Colonies. If you cover one whole area of an enemy's defenses then you will be able to drop units in without worrying about them being shot down. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Argus Jewel -- ------------------- Minerals : 100 Vespene Gas : 100 Location : Fleet Beacon Units Affected : - Corsair This upgrade increases the energy storage of your Corsairs by 50 so they can do one additional Disruption Web if they are fully charged. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Gravitic Booster -- ------------------------ Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Observatory Units Affected : - Observer This allows your Observers to move around faster. I guess this means that they can observe more stuff quicker than they could before, eh? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Sensor Array -- -------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Observatory Units Affected : - Observer This upgrade increases the sight range of your observers. So that means that they can... see further. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Recall -- -------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Arbiter Tribunal Units Affected : - Arbiter This allows your Arbiter to warp into its location any selected group of units. Scout with the Arbiter into the enemy base and plant it over a critical section, then warp in a big group of attackers to deal out some damage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Stasis Field -- -------------------- Minerals : 150 Vespene Gas : 150 Location : Arbiter Tribunal Units Affected : - Arbiter This is a complete and total stoppage of activities for whatever this touches. When the Arbiter uses this it will hit the selected unit but it will also splash around and get a lot of surrounding units in the process. This will completely halt the unit in its path but they cannot be harmed while they are under effect by the Stasis Field.
