Spellcasting 201 Sunday: Prelude, Calm before the Storm -------------------------------------- To get through the first simulation, Prent the banana, take the slicer and cut it to pieces. Now go up, open the package and the Foy spell box, then return downstairs and wait. When the tub is almost full, Foy the banana, then wait for your master. There's also a second simulation that you can try some time later; in that one, go west and north, open the tree and the spell box. Then north and down; take the coins, open the Kwelp spell box and take the coins again. Kwelp the fresco, go south twice, Yuhpee the bork and give him the coins. Board the ship. The third simulation is out of order. The only thing you have to do today, besides roam around and collect anything that you can carry, is meet with the president at 8:00p. You'll be given the key to the lab that holds the Sorceror's Appliance, which you need a lot! The first attachment for the Appliance is the sextant in the HDP house. Attach all attachments you find to the Appliance, as they increase its number of functions. If you drop all, you can push both buttons to open it. Then go in and mess with the dials; pull lever to activate. By the way, every day, be sure to wait in the locations where your fellow pledges have duties, as they're clumsy and fun to watch. Monday ------ Use the Appliance to make a white stone. Go to the janitorial closet; cut the glass with the diamond, and take the Woosh spell. While you're here, read the how-to book and take the coupon. Go up to the statue, Woosh it and apply the moustache. You'll get the second attachment. Be sure to be in alchemy class, as you'll get a key there. For extra points, perform the instructions as given in alchemy class to turn iron to copper. Now would also be a good time to take the second simulation test. There is also a third one, but it doesn't work. Tuesday ------- Early in the morning, go to Moldybreadcrust's office to find the Srinko spell; you need to be level three to cast it! Also you need the blue fluid from alchemy lab and the casserole from the cafetaria, and the Piseks spell from your fraternity house. Eat the casserole three times. Piseks the larva. Go to the appliance and create a flowering evergreen bush. Go to the TKB house and shake the bush, then go into the cellar. Srinko the mascot three times, then remove the chain. Frimp the manhole and go down. Move to the control center, take the Ogowoogah spellbox and leave to the dock; leave the blue fluid in the bedchamber, with Hillary and the mascot. You'll get the third attachment. Wednesday --------- Use the appliance to create a moist, rockbound moss. Take it. Then create a squirrel. Feed it the casserole, then put the moss and vomit in the bowl. Take moodhorn (from the music lab), spellbook and bowl, and go to the stadium locker room. Frimp the manhole and wait underneath until 4:00p, then go up again and into the pool room. Wait until the toast ceremony starts (should be around 7:30p), then drink the potion and use the moodhorn to play the Summer Heat piece. You'll get the fourth attachment. By the way, be at the bar at 4:00p to hear something shocking. If you care. Thursday -------- You need the Deplumit and Fogwacka spells; the first is in the president's house. The second is in the clock tower, but you can only take it when the clock strikes, i.e. at every whole hour. Finally you need the frock from Hillary's bedroom, in the dresser. Go to the Appliance and create Eve. It seems the correct settings are yellow, tall, and 42/24/42 (if it matters at all). Get Eve to follow you, then put the frock on her. You may leave the university now. The west road leads to Balmoral City. In the north part is a shrine you should know from the simulation. Deplumit, then take the coins and the Kwelp spell box inside. Return upstairs. Leave the coins somewhere - you can't take them out of town or you'll get robbed. Open the box, of course. The east road leads to Barmaid U. South of it is a shop; trade your coupon for a wrench. In BU, go ne for the dental floss, then return and go nw to get the tablecloth. Go east, then give Eve the cloth and floss and have her make you a new robe. Wear it instead of your old one. Piseks the sapling, go up, Fogwacka, then fix the shower. Go west twice, unlocking the door. Take the invitation. Exit the way you came. Now wait here until 3:00p, then go north. Give invitation and pellet to Eve, then tell her to first give the invitation to the guard, then put the pellet in the punch bowl. Leave. You'll get the fifth attachment. Friday: Royal Flush ------------------- Eve is gone. Today you will need the bedsheet from your room. Also I hope you still have the simpleberry bush, if not make a new one. Do not take it with you, but leave it at the appliance! Once again use the appliance. This time use power level five, and turn the dials to G7. Pull the lever, but stay inside. You'll turn into a cafetaria worker; in this disguise you may leave the university. Return to Balmoral city and reclaim your pile of gold coins. Enter the bar. Greet Lola and give her the gold. Leave, and give the ticket to the guard. Wait here until the queen comes, then moon her. You'll be taken to jail. Open the drain, then close it again. Fix the basin, and fill it with warm water. Put the coin in there to clean it. Kwelp the coin. You'll end up in the queen's bedroom. Take the bubblewand and have some fun with her. Finally return to the university and attach the wand to the appliance - the final attachment. Final: Storm before the Calm ---------------------------- Piseks the larva, and take the simpleberry bush with you. Now enter the appliance and pull the lever; stay inside to transform you into professor Moldybreadcrust. Deplumit. Take the shortest route in the sewer to below the student union; Frimp the manhole and go up, now go to the cafetaria and up the stairs again. Push the button and push the cart north. If you can't enter here, you've been too slow in going here from the Appliance; restore and try again as you can't miss a single move here. Push the cart north again, then put the sheet and the body on it. Push it south. Shake the bush over you, then take the wand from Joey, then push the cart south again and leave it there. Now return to the Appliance (the quickest way is to go to Ivorytower auditorium and Deplumit). Attach the Bubblewand. Enter and turn the power dial to six. Kwelp the painting.
