The majority of this guide is basically an attempt at a verbatim copy of the in-game descriptions provided for each spell. It should not be viewed as the final word, as it is very likely I made a mistake or two while copying, and it is equally as likely that the in-game descriptions themselves are not 100% accurate in the first place. However, it remains a vast improvement over the scant amount of information provided in the manual. I started this guide which much higher aspirations. I planned on doing some in-game testing as well as scrutinizing the actual code in order to verify that each spell description was accurate. In addition, I wanted to add a strategic commentary for each spell. However, I finally could no longer deny the overwhelmingly daunting scope of such a project, and decided to abandon it. But I did manage to complete a short section of various lists near the end of the guide that some players should find useful, as well as a short list of errors in the manual's spell list.
