===================================DISCLAIMER================================== I have decided not to allow websites other than Gamefaqs (www.gamefaqs.com), IGN (faqs.ign.com) & Gamespot (www.gamespot.com) to host my FAQs from now on. Please don't ask, because I will not grant permission. It's just that too many sites don't keep their version of my FAQ up to date which makes for a lot of hassle in my mailbox. So if anyone sees this FAQ on any site other than those mentioned above, please let me know and I will take care of the situation, thanks. Just to make things crystal clear for some people, this FAQ is not to appear anywhere at the following URLs: http://www.cheatcc.com http://www.cheatindex.com This document Copyright 2005,2017 Daniel Engel =============================================================================== Win, Lose Or Draw FAQ November 30, 2017 Daniel (DEngel) Engel dan.engel.2017 [AT] gmail [DOT] com ############################################################################### (A) TABLE OF CONTENTS ############################################################################### Table of Contents (A) This Table of Contents (B) Controls (C) Setup (D) The Game (E) Answer List (F) Experimental ############################################################################### (B) CONTROLS ############################################################################### The controls for this game are very simple, and are as follows: D-Pad - Moves the cursor. A - Draw, confirm choices. B - Erase drawing, enter your guess. Start - Pause, start the game. Select - Not used. ############################################################################### (C) SETUP ############################################################################### Once you press start at the main screen you will reach a menu with the following choices. ----- Teams ----- You can choose men or women for each team or you can select "none" for the second team if you wish to play alone. ----- Level ----- Here you can adjust the difficulty of the game, which basically means less time to guess solutions. When the computer is drawing, you get 80 seconds on easy and 60 seconds on moderate and difficult. When the players are drawing, you get 240 seconds on easy and 180 seconds on moderate and difficult. ------------ Drawing Mode ------------ The computer draws for both teams in automatic mode, while both teams take turns drawing in player mode. Finally, practice mode just lets you free draw without any clues. --------------- Set Puzzle Code --------------- This allows you to enter a password from a previous game, so that you don't get as many repeat clues. ############################################################################### (D) THE GAME ############################################################################### There isn't really much to say, the game is based on the old Win, Lose Or Draw TV game show. One team draws as the other team attempts to guess what the drawing is. Guesses are entered by selecting the right letters that spell out what the drawing is. If one team doesn't guess the drawing correctly when the computer is drawing, then the other team can try to guess instead. Each incorrect guess takes 10 points away from a possible 100 points until you reach 5 points, otherwise guessing correctly gives you the points displayed. After 5 normal rounds, the speed round begins. In this round you only get one guess per clue, then the next clue appears and so on until the timer stops. Once the timer runs out the speed round and the game are both over. -------- One Team -------- When playing with one team, you don't have to worry about the other team so there's only the timer to bother you. Watch as the picture gets drawn and guess, when you think you know the answer. You can wait for the whole picture on the easiest difficulty before guessing, while on others you may want to guess early. Once you reach the speed round, you should guess the pictures as early as possible and just hit B to skip a picture if you have no idea what it is. --------- Two Teams --------- The strategy for two teams is almost identical, although the gameplay is slightly different. When the computer is drawing, the game plays very much like it does when you play alone. Guess the picture as soon as you know it, otherwise the pool of possible points drains from 100 down to 5 points with incorrect guesses. Once the timer runs out, the other team gets a chance to guess the answer. However they get a shorter timer and a much smaller pool of possible points. When the players are drawing, the game plays the same way as above, except both teams have more time to guess the answer. ############################################################################### (E) ANSWER LIST ############################################################################### Below is a list of the answers to all the drawings in the game. Unfortunately, it's not possible to reproduce all the drawings here in text art, but I do have an image solution with all of these drawings at http://www.gamefaqs.com and http://faqs.ign.com . Mainly as a small experiment since a few other FAQ authors have also had the same idea. I had a few people email me before I put this link in because they wanted to send money, so it's here for those people. For the record I've received about $87 (which works out to a bit more in Canadian lol) last I checked, so I've been getting cases of pop and making some excellent progress on a few FAQs. If you don't want to send money or can't then send me an email, it's nice to hear what people thought about my work and there's always room for improvement. My email address and paypal address for those that want to contribute are both dan.engel.2017 (AT) gmail (DOT) com Many thanks, and I hope you continue to use my work! ~Dan
