Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout FAQ/Walkthrough Copyright Kemco 1990 Written By Brian P. Sulpher E-mail: briansulpher@hotmail.com Version 3.2 Dates Written: January 6th to January 18th, 2003 I dedicate this to anyone who loves the old Looney tunes cartoons. Nothing can beat Bugs Bunny singing Square Dance tunes to make the old hillbillies beat the living tar out of one another. Ah memories... *sheds a tear* Also, for Cougar, Howler, and Koonce. I miss you, and I hope you are living it up in the afterlife as you did in this world. You will always be in my memories, and you will never be forgotten. ----------- Version 1.0 ----------- -Submitted guide on 16th of January, 2003 -Done to the end of World Three -World Four, World Five, World Six due in next Version ----------- Version 2.0 ----------- -Submitted guide on 18th of January, 2003 -Completed walkthrough ----------- Version 2.5 ----------- -Submitted guide on 17th of November, 2003 -Made some spelling/grammar corrections -Altered format somewhat to be more user friendly ----------- Version 3.0 ----------- -Submitted guide on 9th of June, 2004 -altered the format to make it read a little bit smoother ----------- Version 3.1 ----------- -Submitted guide on March 28th, 2005 -I added in Honestgamers as a site allowed to use my FAQs ----------- Version 3.2 ----------- -Submitted guide on June 22nd, 2005 -I added in Retronintendo as a site allowed to use my FAQs -Altered the format to make it easier on the eyes of the reader ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------Table Of Contents----------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) Introduction 2) Controls 3) Gentle Grassland 4) Deadly Desert 5) Mighty Mountain 6) Creepy Cave 7) Freaky Forest 8) Haunted House 9) Bestiary 10)Bosses 11)Items 12)Bonus Rounds 13)Final Word ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------Introduction-------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) Kemco has taken a great license, and the produced an awesome platformer to challenge your skills. They took Bugs Bunny into a tough challenge, all for the purpose of getting him to his 50th birthday party. Below is the story directly from the game, and in no way is the work of Brian P. Sulpher. It's Bugs Bunny's 50th Birthday. He has been invited to a huge party in his honour. Bugs receives a party invitation. It reads, Happy Birthday Bugs! As members of your fanclub, it is our pleasure to request your presence as the honoured guest, at the spectacular Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout. However, his fellow Looney Tune pals are very unhappy about this party. Nobody has ever given parties in their honour! "Why does Bugs Bunny get so much attention?", Wile E. Coyote asks. He and the others are so mad, that they try to prevent Bugs from reaching his own Birthday Party. Bugs must make his way to the party very cautiously, to avoid all those crazy characters. Shakespeare this isn't, but it is still a somewhat original storyline, so break out your mallet Bugs, as you try to make your way past the obstacles in your path. Be sure to be especially careful when Bugs comes face-to-face with his fellow Looney Tune pals! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Controls---------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) This section will review all of the moves that Bugs Bunny will need to make it past his opposition so he will arrive at his 50th Birthday Party. D-Pad : LEFT and RIGHT will move you in the corresponding direction pressed. UP and DOWN will cause Bugs to climb up and down ladders, trees, etc. DOWN will also send Bugs into a rabbit hole, oil drum, pipe, tree trunk, and vases found over the six worlds. SELECT : No apparent use. START : Start the game, pauses/unpauses the game. B Button: Swings Bugs Bunny's mallet. It will also cause Bugs to select numbers and swing his mallet in the Bonus Round. A Button: Causes Bugs to leap into the air. It will also cause Bugs to select numbers and swing his mallet in the Bonus Round. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------Gentle Grassland------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) This section will cover the path Bugs Bunny must traverse in Round 1-1 to Round 1-4. o-----------o | ROUND 1-1 | o-----------o Start your journey off by hitting the Walking Mallet, jump up to the ledge for a Carrot, and then jump to the high ledge on your left for another Carrot. Next you should go right to encounter a Red Soap Box (kill it), and then head right some more to find a Hawk (kill it for a Heart if you are damaged). Head right again to kill a Walking Mallet, and then you need to hop up to the rock ledge above you to hop back to the left across the floating rock ledges to collect two Carrots. Head back to the right past the Walking Mallet to face a jump onto a rock ledge above a cliff (you get a Carrot), and then a Walking Mallet will accost you, followed by Red Soap Box by a ladder (kill it too). Now climb the ladder, get rid of the Walking Mallet, collect the two Carrots to your left, and then jump to the right to find a High Jump icon. Jump off the ledge to the right to grab a Carrot, jump the first set of Spikes for two more Carrots, kill the Walking Mallet on the next ledge once you clear the Spikes, and then finish hopping the Spikes while collecting the lone Carrot. Once you arrive on the far side, hit the Hawk, get onto the Red Soap Box, and then face left before whacking the Red Soap Box so it will slide right as you follow it to see it kill off another Red Soap Box. Get the Carrot to your right, climb the ladder for another Carrot, jump to the next ledge to get the five Carrots there, and then go down the ladder. From there you need to jump and hit the rocks to your right to open a path to the covered area, where you will whack the first rock on the ground to open up access to the bottom area where three Carrots await (be sure to get the Walking Mallet in your way). Bust through the rocks to your right to tangle with a Walking Mallet and a Red Soap Box before continuing right to see a Hawk (kill or avoid). Use the horizontally moving ledge to reach the rock ledge above to jump across for a Carrot. Continue right across more rock ledges (some will break underneath your feet), and if you fall, just go back left to get back on so you can get the three Carrots on the ledge high in the air. A Walking Mallet and a Red Soap Box greet you by the three bushes you can hide behind (kill or hide), and then climb the ladder on the right to fight a Walking Mallet, which guards a Carrot. Now jump down to the rock ledge below to get a Carrot and a Heart Icon (the rock ledge below the Heart Icon will break away after a second of being stood on). Kill the Red Soap Box that approaches, use the seesaw to launch yourself to the ledge above for a Carrot, and then jump right to the small rock ledge before hopping to the right for the floating Carrot. Collect the Carrot on the ground to your left, before heading down the rabbit hole. The first level throws Daffy Duck in your way. Daffy will attack Bugs Bunny by running back and forth along the ground in a rapid manner. Each hit from Daffy Duck will remove one fourth of a heart (the heart will turn white, then black, then empty, and then it disappears completely). Daffy Duck is invulnerable to your mallet attacks, so you need to jump into carrots to gather them for yourself, and then use the resulting solid Warner Brothers symbols as ledges to reach the Giant Carrot above the Rabbit Season sign to get into your balloon to reach the next Round. o-----------o | ROUND 1-2 | o-----------o Head right to get a Carrot, wait for the Bullet Sprinkler to shoot, and then take it down. Next you should climb the ladder, wait for the Alarm Clock to blow up, jump up to the right for a Carrot, and then jump down to get the Carrot below. Get on the WB logo, jump to the moving horizontal platform, jump for the two Carrots above, get on those two WB logos, and then take a running leap to the rock ledge on the right for a Carrot before hopping to the platform below you to the right to go to the next section of the level. When you appear, jump to the two Carrots to the right, drop down to the left, kill the two Bullet Sprinklers, and then climb the ladder to your right for another Carrot (you may to have to contend with a Walking Mallet). Climb the next ladder to your left to head up to find three rabbit holes, and you will take the one closest to Bugs. Once inside, jump to the rock ledge on your left, for a Carrot, jump to the higher rock ledge for a Carrot, let the rock ledge break, get the Carrot, jump on top of the WB logo above you, and then jump to the rabbit hole on the left when no Boulders are coming out (go down the rabbit hole). Jump to the Rabbit Hole on your left, go down it, collect the two Carrots and the High Jump icon, and then use the small ledge to jump across to the rabbit hole on the left so you can get three Carrots, and then go down that rabbit hole. Head down to the left first to get yourself seven Carrots, and then return to the seesaw to send your self back on top of the rabbit hole, and then wait for the Bead Snake to turn green before hopping over to get the three Carrots (then get clear of it's path). Climb the ladder, go right for a Carrot, jump to the rock ledges on the right for a Heart Icon, and then go back to the left. Climb the ladder, wait for the Alarm Clock to blow itself up, quickly finish your climb and jump to the ledges on your right for Carrots before a new Alarm Clock appears. After collecting the Carrots, go down the Rabbit Hole to get to the Boss! You arrive in this room in the top-right corner, and all you will see when you arrive is a single bush closer to the right side of the room than the left side of the room. Jump down to the ground, and then go near the bush to reveal that Tweety Bird is hiding behind the bush! Each hit from Tweety will remove quarter of a heart. Tweety will attack by walking out from behind the bush a little, and then throw a tomato at Bugs Bunny before quickly retreating to the safety of the bush. What Bugs Bunny needs to do is to walk toward the bush to bait Tweety Bird out, and then go backwards a little before quickly turning and swinging his mallet at the same time. This will not only knock Tweety backwards, but it will also prevent a Tomato being thrown in your direction. Three hits will do it here. o-----------o | ROUND 1-3 | o-----------o Run right from the start pass the rocks in the shallow holes and by the bushes to come to a spike pit. Wait beside the pit for the Bead Snake to start to turn green, and then hop across the spike pit (grab the Carrot as you go across), and when you land, jump to the platform above before the Bead Snake changes to red. Jump across the high ledges over the next two Bead Snakes while getting Carrots, and then you arrive at an area of floating platforms with falling rocks. Jump onto the higher moving platform, drop down through the two Carrots to the lower moving platform before hopping on to the WB logos. Avoid the falling Rocks, jump to the ledge on the right, and bust down the rocks to reach the eleven Carrots inside! Go back to the left, get on top of the rock path, and jump through the two Carrots on the right. Go right to get the two Carrots below the enclosed rabbit hole, and then go back left to ride the vertically moving platform up so you can hop to the ledge on the right (be sure to do when the Bead Snake is green). Go past the Bead Snake to get all the Carrots to the right (being sure to not fall through the rocks as they break apart underneath Bugs), and then use WB logos to get back up to the Bead Snake ledge. Head down the ladder quickly, and go down the rabbit hole. You will reappear in an enclosed space, where a rock wall blocks your way, followed by a Bead Snake. Bust the wall, get by the Bead Snake, grab the two Carrots, and then jump the gap (watch out for the Rock falling from above). Go right to kill a Walking Mallet on the ledge above, use the moving platform on the left to get the two Carrots in the sky, and then go right once more through the Carrot on the high ledge to kill a Walking Mallet. Head right to find a vertically moving platform, which Bugs should ride up to the ledge with the Heart Icon waiting, and then come down to ground level to get the three Carrots, followed by the next three. Grab the Carrot on the high ledge, go left through the small hole, break the first rock you see, go through the hole, and then get the three Carrots. Wait for the Bead Snake to turn green, jump the gap, jump to the ledge above, and then jump to the vertically moving platform, which you will remain on till an opening in the falling Rocks is available for Bugs to hop through for the two Carrots high in the air. Go right to duck down into the rabbit hole to go onto the Boss Room! Daffy Duck returns once more, and this time you have a moving platform to ride above him so you can reach the Giant Carrot. Grab the four regular carrots as you go across on the moving platform, and then jump up to touch the Giant Carrot to leave the Round. Keep in mind that Daffy Duck can not be hurt, and he will remove quarter heart per touch on you. o-----------o | ROUND 1-4 | o-----------o Go down the rabbit hole to roar right to find seven Carrots, and then make use of the horizontally moving platform to jump to the next rabbit hole in the top right corner of the room (be sure to land on the edge of the rabbit hole to avoid contact with the Boulder). Once on the other side of the rabbit hole, go down to get the Fast Mallet power-up before retracing your steps back to the original rabbit hole you went down. Go right to find a Walking Mallet and a Rock falling from the sky, and that is followed by some black platforms over the water. These platforms will disappear after you set foot on them for about a second before reappearing once more. Hop across them carefully to arrive at a rabbit hole. Once through the Rabbit Hole. jump right to get eight Carrots, avoid the Rock, and then hop across the two black platforms to get two Carrots (make sure to stand on the resulting WB logos). Go right past the falling Rocks for five Carrots, and then leap to the right for four more Carrots. Go left upon landing to face a Walking Mallet before getting two Carrots, and then go down the ladder for more three more Carrots. Go back up the ladder, go right to face a Grey Soap Box, and then an Alarm Clock before getting two Carrots. Use the resulting WB logos to reach the rabbit hole over the gap, go down inside, grab the Carrot, and then go down the next rabbit hole. Grab the two Carrots, grab the Heart Icon to refill your life meter, and then retrace your steps back to the original rabbit hole in this side path. Once you are back to the main part of the level, go right once again to jump a gap to a ledge where an Alarm Clock falls onto to accost you (it will respawn once it blows up). Jump across the gap to the white platform, and then jump short of the next platform to go right underneath it. When you land, get the Carrot, and then climb the long ladder to the rabbit hole above to take the Boss on! Wile E. Coyote greets you while clutching his knife and fork. He will attack you with three different methods of attack: 1) Wile E. Coyote will walk at you, 2) Wile E. Coyote will jump in large leaping arcs (up to three in a row!), and 3) Wile E. Coyote will start stabbing in a methodical fashion in an attempt to slice and dice you (kind of like O.J Simpson... ALLEGEDLY!). Anyway, each hit from Wile E. Coyote will remove a quarter of a heart per hit on all three attacks. To kill Wile E. Coyote, you can simply hit him three times in a row (probably taking some damage as you do so), or you can try to jump over the attacks as they come at you, at which point you will turn in mid-air to swing your mallet to hit him. Congratulations on finishing World One! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------Deadly Desert-------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4) This section will cover the path Bugs Bunny must traverse in Round 2-1 to Round 2-4. o-----------o | ROUND 2-1 | o-----------o Start off by going right to hop the gap, continuing to run right as the ground behind you falls away, hop the Walking Mallet, and then use half jumps to get the two Carrots while not colliding with the Rocks (the ground stops falling away below the second Carrot location). Continue up the hill to jump past the Spikes to land on the narrow ledge short of the hole, and then hop across hole to find columns with Bead Snakes, which you will hop through when they are blue. Next you get to grab two Carrots, hop the green column, and then hop rapidly through the quicksand to arrive at the solid land on the far side. Grab the Carrot as you walk right, quickly jump on top of the palm tree to avoid the two Bullet Sprinklers, and then continue right to get two more Carrots. Carefully jump the gap, get on top of the palm trees, grab the two Carrots, jump on top of the resulting WB logos, hop right to the small ledge floating in mid-air, and then take a running leap for the two Carrots floating by themselves to your right. Head right to see a quicksand pit with some Ground Gnats in it (they bite you if you come near them in quicksand), so instead of going across the pit to get bit, instead you will get onto the palm tree to use it to get on to the horizontally moving platform. You will then take a big leap off of the platform to the right to clear the green column, and then grab the Carrot to the right of the seesaw. Then you should stand with your back to the green column while standing on the seesaw, and when the Alarm Clock starts to explode, hammer the seesaw to catapult yourself to the ledge above (be sure to run off the ledge to the right before the Alarm Clock respawns). Jump to the black platform, jump to the Carrot as you jump right over the quicksand, and then hop the pit to land on the other side where you head up the hill. Avoid the Rock, go onto the grey ledges, get the Carrot, and then go right to the palm tree where a Bullet Sprinkler sprays it's nasty ammunition. Go right to get onto the horizontally moving platform, get the two Carrots, get on top of the right WB logo, and take a leap to the ledge on your right. Jump across the quicksand by using the crumbling green blocks (if you fall in, the Ground Gnats will start to deplete your life meter). Let the Alarm Clock blow itself into oblivion, jump to the ledge it used to occupy, get the two Carrots above that ledge, and then avoid the Tumbleweeds as they come your direction. Jump the gap to arrive at the chimney, and go down inside to fight the Boss! Daffy Duck is back, and this time you actually have to work a little bit to get to the Giant Carrot. The usual rules of no hurting Daffy Duck whatsoever, and the removal of one quarter of a heart per hit. Head left from the chimney you came through to jump over Daffy, then wait at the seesaw till Daffy Approaches, and then jump him so he goes off the wall so he starts back to the right. Now you need to hit the higher part of the seesaw to launch yourself into the air, land on the brick, jump up to the higher ledge, and then collect the carrots before getting the Giant Carrot to leave the level. o-----------o | ROUND 2-2 | o-----------o You are greeted by an earthquake and a tumbleweed, so ignore the earthquake as you jump the Tumbleweed to go right to get the Carrot from the branches of the palm tree. Use the seesaw to reach the Carrot, jump down to the palm trees to go by two Alarm Clocks (killing them will only cause them to respawn), and then hop to the platform on the right. Once you land, wait for the whirlwind to catch you (jump it to land back on the platform), jump to horizontally moving platform, and from there go down the chimney. Once inside, grab the six Carrots, leave, drop off the left side of the chimney to the left of the Carrots below. Jump the Spikes as you get the four Carrots, wait for the Bullet Sprinkler to stop shooting to hop, kill the Bullet Sprinkler, and then continue right till you come across a seesaw. Wait for the Bullet Sprinkler to stop shooting, kill it, and then use the seesaw to reach the ledges above so you can get the four Carrots and the High Jump icon. you will hop right to land by a falling Rock, and then go right to fight three Alarm Clocks. Then you should grab the Carrot on the top ledge (careful of the respawning Alarm Clocks), and head down past the Spikes to go into the chimney to reach the next section of the level. You will arrive to see many small platforms and ledges. Start off by jumping left to the grey ledge, jump up to the high grey ledge, and then up one more grey ledge for a Carrot (be wary of the earthquake that kicks up). Go down to the Carrot on the low grey ledge, and then jump up two grey ledges to hop left to the last Carrot in the room. Then you just need to go down the chimney to get to the next area of the level. Go right to jump the Spikes to reach a Heart Icon, wait for the Bullet Sprinkler to stop... sprinkling (HAHAHAHA! GET IT?!), and then hop the gaps and the spike to kill the Bullet Sprinkler before it ups and attacks you yet again. Continue right over the pits (the green blocks will crumble), and then bust through the faux Sphinxes for four Carrots. Head right past the Walking Mallet to get onto the grey ledges without the Tumbleweeds hitting you. Next you have to jump rapidly to stay near the top of the quicksand to avoid the Ground Gnats, and then use the seesaw to reach the vertically moving platform above. Ride the platform upwards, jump to the green block on your left (it crumbles away), and then jump across tot he black platform where you will hop to the next ledge quickly (take the hit from the Rock if need be). Grab the Carrot, and head down the chimney to take on the Boss on! This room contains only a cloud on the ground closer to the right side of the room instead of the left side of the room. Tweety Bird is of course hiding behind this cloud, and you will need to use the same tactics as before (bait Tweety out, run away quickly, and then turn and swing mallet). Three hits will send Tweety packing. The usual rules of a quarter heart removed per hit. o-----------o | ROUND 2-3 | o-----------o Head left to jump the gap between falling Rocks, grab the two Carrots, jump the next gap between the falling Rocks, and then kill the Bullet Sprinkler. Go get on the palm tree to the right, get on the moving platform, jump for the two Carrots, and then leap over the gap below. Jump the falling Rock, use the palm tree to get the two Carrots, and then get on to the seesaw on the right while continuing to avoid the Rocks. Use the seesaw to get up to the green block above, jump right to the green blocks below to get a Heart Icon, and then hop right quickly as the green blocks break below you. From the palm tree, run and leap right for two Carrots, wait for the platform on your right to disappear before you start your jump to it (it will appear as you land on it), and then jump to the right immediately upon landing to get off the platform before it disappears. Jump the Spikes to land on the palm trees, collect the two Carrots, get on the resulting WB logos, and take a hop to the moving platform on your right. Jump off the platform to the grey structure, collect the three Carrots and the Heart Icon, and then head right to break the faux Sphinx up for four Carrots. Jump to the ledge above you to the right, kill the Walking Mallet, go right to get onto the palm tree, jump right to the green block to get the Carrot, and then hop left before the green block breaks below you. Head down the chimney to get six Carrots, return outside, and then use the black platform to get across the quicksand below (if you go in the quicksand, a Whirlwind will hit you). When you are on the palm tree you will collect the Carrot, get on the WB logo, jump right to get the High Jump icon from on top of the crumbling green block ledge, and then go right to jump the Spikes for two Carrots as you land between the Spikes and the hole. Jump across the gap to come up short of the next set of Spikes, jump to the green block for the Carrot, immediately get on top of the WB logo, and then hop across the gap to get the two Carrots between the holes in the ground. Use the WB logos to get onto the black platform, hop across both of them to avoid the Bullet Sprinklers, and then bust the faux Sphinx for four Carrots. Head right to go by an Alarm Clock, three falling Rocks, and then you will have to use crumbling green blocks to get across a quicksand patch with Ground Gnats while collecting three Carrots. That is followed up by two Carrots above green blocks, and then take the chimney to go to the hardest Boss Fight in the game (actually, it is not the hardest, and you will see why below!)! This room has no Boss for you to tangle with, so just use your mallet to bust through the impressive amount of rock blocks in your path. Bust through the bottom left or extreme right set of rock blocks to reach the Giant Carrot quickly so you can leave this Round behind. o-----------o | ROUND 2-4 | o-----------o Jump the approaching Rock as you climb the slope, jump right at the top to the disappearing black platform set (keep hopping right to pass the Bullet Sprinklers), and then get the Carrots at the end of the platform set. Go down the hill to drop into the next hole you see to get seven Carrots, exit the hole, and then get to the chimney on the right over the spikes, which you will go down into. Jump across the Spikes to collect the Carrots and the Heart Icon, and then you will arrive at the seven Carrot location. Go up through the hole, go right to go onto the same chimney, and then hop right to the Carrot (beware the green blocks breaking away). Jump to the Carrots on your right (past the Spikes), and then hop to the left past the Spikes to land near another set of Spikes. Go by them and go down the chimney to head off to the next section of the level. When you arrive in the next section, a building will be there that produces both a Walking Mallet and an Alarm Clock. Couple this with the Alarm Clock falling from the sky, and you have a heavy attack coming for you. Head past the respawning trio to jump a Tumbleweed before using the vertically moving platform to get the two Carrots high in the sky. Head right to get eight Carrots by breaking the faux Sphinxes down, and then use the disappearing platforms to cross the Ground Gnat infested quicksand to go down the chimney to the next challenge. When you appear, go grab the Carrot, and use the WB logo that appears to get the Heart Icon above you. Head right to get three Carrots, and then jump onto the moving platform to jump to the right off of when it reaches the height of it's movements. Upon landing on the black platform, jump right to the next black platform, and then leap right once more to go get the two Carrots above the chimney before you go down the chimney itself. You will need to hop to the moving platform on the left (you will likely get hit by the falling Rocks), and then jump to the black platform. Immediately clear off of it before it disappears to the white platform on the left, and from there to the grey ledge where you get a Heart Icon. Then head down the chimney to arrive at the Boss Fight! Yosamite Sam, the roughest toughest hombre to ever lock horns with a rabbit awaits you here. He has three attacks: 1) his favourite way to attack is to shoot corks at you fairly rapidly (each one will remove one whole heart from your life meter!), 2) walking into you (removes one quarter of a heart), and 3) jumps into you (removes one quarter of a heart). Your job is to jump down beside him so you hit him as you fall in to the room for a free hit. Next you will need to use a jumping attack for the next two hits. Keep in mind that making contact with his body as you attack will not be a big deal because he will only damage you for one quarter of a heart. If you use the jumping mallet swing, you will get the hit in, take the body damage instead of the cork damage, and then get ready to leap into the air to land the third hit. Take the Giant Carrot to leave World Two behind you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------Mighty Mountain------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5) This section will cover the path Bugs Bunny must traverse in Round 3-1 to Round 3-4. o-----------o | ROUND 3-1 | o-----------o You start with Carrots in sight, and no enemies (that is the way to travel). However, your first Hopping Toad will attack you along with a Red Soap Box past the first land rise. After dealing with them, get the Carrots, use the WB logos to reach the black platform to your right, and hop into the two Carrots. Avoid the Alarm Clock and the falling Rock, get the Carrot, and run right to hop onto a rock ledge. Grab the Carrot that is their before hopping right to avoid the crumbling ledge, and continue your trip across the small airbounre ledges to get Carrots. Kill the Walking Mallets, avoid the falling Rock, jump to the ledge above for the Carrots, and then get on the white platform to the right. Kill the Hawk as it approached for the Heart it hides, jump for the Carrot on the right, and then climb the ladder to kill the Walking Mallet for the Carrot it guards. Take a running leap to get the Carrot below (be sure to fall on the rock ledge below, and not the lava), jump left to the Carrot there, and then use the resulting WB logos to reach the oil drum to go into. Grab the four Carrots here, go down the bottom oil drum in the room to end up in the one in the top of the room, which you should go down to return to the level. Jump down through the three Carrots to land below, fight off the Hopping Toad, grab the next two Carrots, kill the Red Soap Box, and use the white platform to get to the rock ledge for the Carrot. Continue right along the rock ledges for a chance at the Carrots around the black platforms, and then go across the rock ledges with Comets shooting from below. Jump to the ground below to run right (go right through the Hopping Toads) as the ground is breaking away behind you. Collect the Carrots when the ground stops collapsing, go past the Alarm Clock, kill the Hawk for a Heart, and then climb the ladder to kill a Red Soap Box. Grab the Carrot, jump onto the Alarm Clock, and then jump to the next ledge for a Carrot before going past another Alarm Clock to jump on the white platform to go off to the Boss Fight. Daffy Duck is once again ready to greet Bugs Bunny when he arrives to find his Big Carrot. This is a really simple one to do, so follow these directions closely (not really needed to follow closely, but anyway): Jump from your platform to the rock ledge above you to the right, and then hop from there to the rock ledge further right to get your Giant Carrot. Daffy can not be harmed as usual, and he does remove quarter of a heart in the usual fashion as well. o-----------o | ROUND 3-2 | o-----------o Collect the Carrots at the start while avoiding the falling Rocks, and then jump to the ledge with the One Ton Weight (knock it off the ledge to kill all enemies on the screen). Use the moving platforms to get some Carrots before you kill the approaching Hawk for his Heart, and then go up the hill while avoiding the falling Rocks. Next you should head right to collect Carrots while dealing with a Walking Mallet and some Grey Soap Boxes, and then head left while scanning the bottom of the screen for a vertically moving platform to get onto to reach the next section of the level. Collect the Carrots outside the cave, and then enter the cave itself to ride the moving platform across the first lava pit. Next you will have to jump lava pits as you go along the rock shoots while dealing with falling Rocks, a Hawk, and two Blue One Ton Weights. Head down the oil drum to enter a place with two Red Soap Boxes all ready to fight you. Collect the higher Carrot while dodging the Red Soap Boxes (ignore the lower one as it is too risky to go after), and then go down the next oil drum to enter the next segment of the level. Collect the Carrots that are near the oil drum, and then make your way past the fireball attacks of the volcanoes (stand right underneath the smoking opening to avoid the fireballs), and then use the moving platform to go left for some Carrots. Next up is an Alarm Clock and a Red Soap Box, some Carrots, and then a jump onto the black platform before jumping off of it to the oil drum to head off to the next section of the level (watch out for the Hopping Toad). Here you will have to contend with Alarm Clocks as you jump from rock ledge to rock ledge while collecting Carrots and avoiding walking on too many rock sections (they will break away, sending you tumbling down to the ground below near the volcanoes you passed earlier). Try to stand on the WB logos and the Alarm Clocks as much as possible to avoid falling through to the ground below. Once you are across the danger area, go down the oil drum to tangle with a Looney Tune character, who is the Boss Fight for the Round! Elmer Fudd appears to try and get the Wascally Wabbit in this Round. Elmer has two methods of attack: 1) Shooting a net to trap Bugs for a short period of time (lessened when you wiggle back and forth repeatedly), and 2) walking into Bugs. Both of these attacks remove one quarter of a heart each. To beat Elmer, wait for him to shoot a net, jump it, and as you are landing from the jump you will swing your mallet to thump Elmer. Do this three times to make short work out of the inept hunter. o-----------o | ROUND 3-3 | o-----------o Avoid the Walking Mallet and the falling Rocks at the start as you collect quite a few Carrots, and then jump across the lava by using the moving platforms (the vertically moving one dips into the lava, so be careful). Wait for the Bead Snake to turn blue before you jump through him for his Carrots, use the WB logos to get to the rock ledge, and then jump across the lava pits to the rock ledge with the circling Bead Snake. Keep going right to get two Carrots, and then use the Blue One Ton Weight to wipe out the enemies on screen (including the Bullet Sprinkler to the right). Jump across the lava pits, kill one of the Grey Soap Boxes, ride the resulting bubble for some Carrots, and then go right to hit the Blue One Ton Weight to wipe the enemies out. Go across the lava pits while collecting the Carrots, then use the white platforms and the black platforms to cross the lava while avoiding falling Rocks and collecting Carrots. Once you reach the end of the lava field, kill the two approaching Hawks for one Heart from each of them, and then go by the Bead Snakes and the Comet to reach the Horizontally moving platform over the large hole. Continue across the pit past another Comet, collect the Carrots, and then deal with the falling Alarm Clocks, the Red Soap Box, and the Hopping Toad before you can use the seesaw to launch past the Comet to the black platform. Immediately jump up to the rock ledge above, immediately jump right to avoid the crumbling blocks, deal with the falling Alarm Clocks and the Red Soap Box to reach the ladder where you should hop across the gap to the right so the Hopping Toad above hops right to get it out of your hair. Next you have to hop across many small gaps while collecting Carrots and dodging Comets and Alarm Clocks. When you reach the far side, kill the Hopping Toads, and then use the black platform to cross the gap to reach the oil drum, which brings you to the Boss Room! Daffy Duck has returned again! It is too bad you can not wallop this guy so he would not return, but his Boss Rooms are rather simple, so I guess we can not complain about. The usual rules of one quarter heart removed per hit and Daffy is invulnerable to your attacks apply. The easiest room yet as Bugs Bunny just needs to walk off the oil drum, and then hold LEFT on the D-Pad to get your Giant Carrot to finish the Round. o-----------o | ROUND 3-4 | o-----------o Collect the Carrots as you take on the respawning Alarm Clocks at the start, head right to jump across the small gaps as you collect Carrots and avoid Comets, and then you will be attacked by a Volcano before you head down the the oil drum to the next section of the level. When you arrive, jump right, fall down the line of Carrots, get the one to the left, and then jump back up the WB logos to go right to fight the Hopping Toads by the lava pools. Collect the Carrots there as the earthquake begins before heading right to kill a Hawk for the Heart it carries. Avoid the Alarm Clock, collect the Carrots above the rock ledge, and then carefully kill the Hopping Toads so you can fall to the chamber below (fall down towards the middle of the possible places you can fall through so you will land on the ledge below). Go left to kill the Hopping Toad, get the Carrot, jump to the white platform just before it appears, and then quickly get off of it to another ledge. Collect the Carrots here as you carefully jump across the rock ledges to the left, and go down the oil drum. Sit tight on your oil drum till the Comets fly away and the Alarm Clocks kill themselves before you go across the rock ledges while collecting the Carrots (just be sure to not wait too long, or both sets of enemies will respawn here), and then you will have to tiptoe past the volcanoes on the right. Jump to the rock ledge between Comet shots, jump the next gap, and then head down the oil drum to the Boss Fight Room! Sylvester the Cat's Son guards the end of World Three while riding his trusty... SKATEBOARD?!? Anyway, He will move back and forth slowly between the two walls, and your job is to hit him three times (big surprise there). If he hits Bugs, you will one quarter of a heart. Jump him as he gets close to you, turn in the air, and hit him from behind with your mallet as he passes by. Do this three times and you will have defeated him! However, Sylvester will take exception to this, and he will join the fray quickly to avenge his Son! He too will do the same back and forth action of his Son, but if he touches you, you will lose one whole heart (OUCH!). Go about defeating Sylvester in the same manner with the jump and hit technique for the required three hits. This will get you out of World Three, and onto World Four! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------Creepy Cave-------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6) This section will cover the path Bugs Bunny must traverse in Round 4-1 to Round 4-4. o-----------o | ROUND 4-1 | o-----------o Use the seesaw to get to the block platform so you can grab the four Carrots, grab the next two Carrots, and then get on top of the Oil Barrel to knock it away before it darkened the whole cavern. Get the three Carrots, jump the gap between water surges, and then jump the Spike beds here between the dropped stagtilites. Jump the gaps as you collect Carrots, jump the Spikes, jump the gap between water surges, and then collect the Carrots and Heart Icon before using the white platform to get to the high ledge above (watch out for the Spikes on the ceiling). Next you should break the rocks in the floor to get a Carrot, go into the pipe to appear on the one above (this gets you past the fast falling stagtilites), and then use the white platform to get over the bottomless pit (do not worry about the stagtilites here as it is near impossible to avoid getting hit by them). Go across the Spikes while collecting the two Carrots, kill the Alarm Clock, and make your way past the holes between the water surges. Collect the Carrots you will find next, use the seesaw to get on top of the resulting WB logos, and jump to the white platform. Ride it to the first Carrot you see, collect it, stand on the WB logo, get on the next white platform before transferring to the next white platform, and then jump down to the solid land on the right. Use the seesaw to collect the Heart Icon and the Carrot before you go past the hole in front of you when the water is not threatening you. Avoid the spike pit by using the black platform o reach the two High Carrots, kill the Alarm Clock, and jump the two gaps while collecting the Carrots present. Get the three Carrots, run underneath the stagtilite attacks, use the white platform to go up to the high ledge, and then hustle past the Red One Ton Weight before it calls other enemies to come help it out by hitting the ground. Do the same thing on the next two high ledges with the Red One Ton Weights, go by the last set of falling stagtilites, and then down the pipe to go off to the Boss Room! After making your way through the first cave of the World, you will arrive to learn that Rabbit Season is indeed on. Once again Daffy Duck has returned with his usual effects of removing one quarter heart per hit and his invulnerability. He will have a few rock ledges above him, which you need to hop across to reach the Giant Carrot to finish the Round. o-----------o | ROUND 4-2 | o-----------o Use the Carrots to make WB logos appear so you can get the high Carrots at the start (while avoiding the Ghost), and the head across the gap to collect the four Carrots before you get into the pipe above to head into the next cave of the level. Head left past the Ghost, jump the gap after the water passes so you land on the white platform, get the high Carrot before getting the two Carrots below, and then jump the Spikes to the left to land on the Alarm Clock. Jump the gap that is to your left to find a pipe that will take you to the next segment of the cave. Collect the three Carrots here before using the water spout to reach the approaching white platform, which you should get off of the ledge on your right as soon as possible so the falling stagtilites do not harm you. Collect the Carrots on this ledge, fall down the hole when lined up with the Carrot in the pit to land on a white platform, which you should jump off of to the right (jump through the Ghost), and get the Carrot and Heart Icon before using the white platform to get out of the hole to the ledge on the right. Use the rock ledges to go by a Ghost as you collect some Carrots (careful of the crumbling sections), and once you have cleared the high ledges of Carrots, you should break through the rock flooring to fall down to the black platform below (jump immediately to avoid falling down to the pit below). Go left to collect some extra Carrots, and then go across the same pit to the right to come face to face with a Heart giving Hawk. That is followed be a leap over the water spouts to pass two Ghosts, collect two Carrots, jump the gap when the water is not in your way, and then use the white platform to get the two Carrots. Return to the water spouts (the Ghosts will attack again), and then jump to the white platform above before collecting the three Carrots. Head right to battle an Alarm Clock, and then use the black platform to get the Carrots above it and to the left of it. Next you need to fall down the hole while holding RIGHT (a Ghost may hit you), and then go down the pipe to enter a room with three Carrots and a Heart Icon (watch out for the Ghost coming from the left wall). Once you are done here, go down the pipe in the top right of the room to enter the Boss Fight! You will arrive in a room with four platforms (one occupied by the pipe you came in through), and two rock formations that can hide things (just guess at who the Boss is). Yes, the one and only Tweety Bird has returned to torment you with tomato throwing abilities. Tweety will remove one quarter heart per hit, and he will hide till you draw near, at which point it charges out to attack. Go near to the right rock formation to draw Tweety out, go back one step, turn, and then swing. Hit Tweety Bird three times to end this Round. o-----------o | ROUND 4-3 | o-----------o Head right up the slope to go past an Alarm Clock, kill the Oil Barrel, and then use the white platform to reach the ledge above. Take out the Alarm Clock, go left to the wall, jump up to the right, dodge the Ghost as you collect some Carrots, and then run past the falling stagtilites to get four more Carrots before heading down the pipe. Upon appearing, go right off the pipe to avoid the approaching Ghost, and then collect Carrots before jumping the gap between water surges to battle an Alarm Clock. Jump the gap to get the Heart Icon, avoid the Ghost, jump the Rock, and then take out the Alarm Clock. Next you will see a Rock, followed by a Walking Mallet, and then you have some Carrots to collect by using the seesaw. Now you should use the same seesaw to get across the gap to land on the Alarm Clock, which you will whack off the cliff. Now you should jump the gap, kill the Hawk for a Heart, and collect the six Carrots before you head down the pipe. Collect the five Carrots that are near your pipe when you enter, head left to follow an Alarm Clock to the falling stagtilites, let the Alarm Clock blow up, and then run underneath the falling stagtilites. Avoid the charging Ghost, collect the Carrot before going right down the slope, and then jump down the Carrot line when the stagtilite is not in your jumping path. Head left again to find a pipe that will take you to an area with an Oil Barrel you should kill immediately before it darkens the area. Collect the four Carrots near the black platform, and head left over the gap between water surges to find another gap to jump to land on a white platform. Get the four Carrots here as you go left to jump a Ghost. Following that is an Oil Barrel which you kill off before heading down the pipe to the Boss Fight for the level! Daffy Duck is back again! To beat this incarnation of Daffy Duck, jump him as he charges you, jump onto the Rabbit Season sign, and then hop up to the Giant Carrot. The usual rules of quarter heart removed per hit and Daffy is invulnerable. o-----------o | ROUND 4-4 | o-----------o Grab the two Carrots, jump the gap carefully between water surges, get the two Carrots from the ledge above (just take a hit from the stagtilites as you do so), and then go past the Alarm Clock to hop the gap where you find an Oil Barrel you should kill off immediately. Avoid the Ghost, collect the Carrots (be sure to get the one high up above the gap to the left), and then go right to hop your way across the fallaway bridge (jump across for safest results). Get the Carrots here as you head right to jump onto a white platform, which you should hop off of to the ledge above to kill the Oil Barrel before it cuts the lights on you. Wait for an opening in the falling water so you can jump the gap, let the Alarm Clock blow itself to pieces, and then use the white platform to leap through the falling stagtilite pattern to reach the high ledge on the right. Grab the Carrots as you go down the hill to find a Ghost (avoid) and a Walking Mallet (destroy it). Now you should continue to grab all the Carrots in sight as you hop the Spikes, hop the rolling Rock, and then leap across the fallaway bridge in front of you. Collect the three Carrots by way of the rock ledge, followed by the one Carrot via the black platform. Now you should head across the Spikes to the seesaw, which you should use to reach the Carrots above you before heading right to get two more Carrots. Now you have to use the white platform over the gap to your right, jump to the next white platform between falling stagtilite groups, jump the Ghost as it comes at you so you land on the next white platform, and continue along this pattern through the stagtilite and Ghost attacks while collecting Carrots until you arrive on the far side of the gap. Kill the Alarm Clock, avoid the Ghost, kill the Hawk, and then collect the Carrots as you head right to hop the gap between water surges. Jump to the ledge above to get the three Carrots, jump the Rock, and then hop across the fallaway bridge to find three more Carrots and a Heart Icon awaiting pick up. Then you just need to head down the pipe to enter the Boss Fight! Pepe Le Pew is the final guardian of World 4! He will make use of his most special technique, the poisonous Stink Spray (it removes one whole heart with each hit!). Pepe will also remove a quarter heart each time his body touches you. To beat this stinky old skunk, you will need to hide behind the rock formations of the room so the stink clouds will not hit you, and when Pepe goes past, jump up from behind your cover, swing your mallet into him, and then go behind cover before Pepe can get his slow to fire butt into play. Three hits will send the lovesick Skunk back to France where he can try to get a lady skunk (although he will likely find a cat for that...). Now off to World Five with ya! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------Freaky Forest------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7) This section will cover the path Bugs Bunny must traverse in Round 5-1 to Round 5-4. o-----------o | ROUND 5-1 | o-----------o Start off your trek through the Freaky Forest by killing a Walking Mallet, climb the tree for two Carrots, and then run right under the ledge with the Hopping Toad. Leap up to the ledge from below, whack the Hopping Toad jumping down and up around you, and then get the Carrots up high. Go right over the gaps as the Bead Snakes turn green, climb the tree to get Carrots and a Heart Icon, and then head right to kill a Walking Mallet. Next you have to kill an Alarm Clock, and then jump across the wide expanse of water by using the black platform to hop to the moving vine when it draws towards you, followed by a leap to the next vine. Once you land on the solid ground again, hop the Spikes, get the Carrots out of the tree after killing the Walking Mallet, and then cross the gap via the breaking brick platform. Now you see your first Trashcan Man (he drops Alarm Clocks out to attack you), so head by him quick, and then get the three Carrots. Take out the Walking Mallet below, kill the Alarm Clock, and then kill the next Walking Mallet to get the two Carrots near it. Jump the wall to get the Carrots from the tree, and then use the vine to cross the water. Kill the Alarm Clock that is on the ledge, jump the Spikes, get the Carrots, and then kill the Hopping Toad to get the two Carrots it was guarding. Jump to the High Jump icon (be sure to get off the bricks as they break quickly), and then go by the Bead Snakes to clean the two trees out of Carrots. Go right to avoid the two respawning Alarm Clocks as you clear that tree out of Carrots, and then head right to whack the Hopping Toads to get the Carrots they guard. Go past the Bead Snake to get a couple Carrots, and then head down the Tree Stump to go to the Boss Fight! Daffy Duck appearing should not be of any shock to you, and here he is like his good old punctual self. The usual rules of Daffy is invulnerable and he removes one quarter of a heart per hit still apply. Wait till Daffy Duck charges at the tree stump you came through, jump over him, head left, and then hop onto the block on the far right. Now you just need to hop across the blocks going left till you reach the ledge by the left wall with the Giant Carrot to end the round! o-----------o | ROUND 5-2 | o-----------o Start off by going right to the ledge with the Bead Snake when it is green, grab the two Carrots, and then jump the gap on the right to the ledge there. Kill the Hopping Toad, grab the Carrot to the right, go left on the ledge above, and kill the Hopping Toad before grabbing the Carrots. Go right to kill the Alarm Clock as you grab two Carrots, go left to take out a Hopping Toad, and then use the white platform when it is visible to grab the two Carrots above it before going right for two more Carrots. Use the highest platforms to get Carrots as you take hits from enemies (do not worry about the hits), and grab the Hammer icon, where the bricks break to drop you down to the Heart Icon for a life refill. Grab the tree trunk as you fall, get the Carrots from the tree, and then kill the Walking Mallet. Jump the gap to fight two Walking Mallets, and then climb the tree to get Carrots before jumping from the branches to the ledge on the right. Go right quickly before the Hopping Toads fall from above, jump right to the next ledge, and then go to the Bead Snake ledge to jump at the two Carrots to the left. Now you end to get back on the Bead Snake ledge, use the WB logos on the left to reach the higher ledge, where you will have to jump to another bead Snake ledge with a Hopping Toad (nearly impossible to do without getting hit). Collect the Carrots around the ledge, use the WB logos to get to the high ledge on the right, and then go by the Trashcan Man as you get more Carrots. Go right to hop onto the black platform, and then hop right through the Carrots on the right to land on the ledge below (watch out for the Walking Mallet). GO right to jump onto the black platform, go to the white platform when it is visible, and jump from it to the high ledge where you can collect many Carrots. Follow this up by jumping down at the two Carrots on the right side of your ledge, far below you, and then go down the tree stump to go to a room with two Bead Snakes on the floor. Jump to the ledge to your right while getting the solo Carrot, avoid the Tarantula, and then get the two Carrots before going down the tree stump to the Boss Fight! Elmer Fudd returns to torment you on this Round! Elmer has two methods of attack: 1) Shooting a net to trap Bugs for a short period of time, and 2) walking into Bugs. Both of these attacks remove one quarter of a heart each. To beat Elmer Fudd, you as the Wascally Wabbit should jump the net shot at you, swing your mallet as you fall down from the jump to hit Elmer, and then repeat two more times to put Elmer out of the hunting racket for this Round. Remember to wiggle back and forth quickly to break free of the net quickly. o-----------o | ROUND 5-3 | o-----------o Start this round off by killing the two Hopping Toads, collecting the Carrots, and then jump onto the moving vine. Jump from the moving vine to the black platform, followed by an immediate jump left to the next moving vine, and then hop off it to the right (be sure to clear the Spikes). Go right past the Trashcan Man to hop the Spikes to land on the tree trunk, which you should climb to get Carrots and the Fast Mallet icon. Now you will continue your trek right to kill a Walking Mallet, pass a respawning Alarm Clock for two Carrots, and then past a Hopping Toad to get on the moving vine. Now make your way across the vines carefully to the solid ground where a Hopping Toad awaits you, and after dealing with it, collect the Carrots in the area as you hop the Spikes. Jump to the ledges over the hole (just remember that the right block of each breaks away), and then jump to the ledge above when the falling Rock is not in your way. Jump right to the solo Carrot, jump immediately off the crumbling block, and continue right to jump the Spikes. Collect the Carrots that are on the ground, kill the Hopping Toad, and then climb the tree trunk to get a couple of Carrots as well as a refill on your life meter courtesy of a Heart Icon. Jump the Spikes on the right to hit a white platform that whisks Bugs upwards to the next segment of the level. Jump to the ledge on the right once the Rock rolls by, jump to the next ledge, and then kill the two Walking Mallets and pass the Trashcan man (while collecting Carrots the whole time). Go right to take a running leap off of the ledge to the right to land on a big ledge that crumbles underneath your weight, so grab the Carrots above Bugs, and then get on the resulting WB logos. Go right across some more crumbling ledges, grabbing Carrots the whole way, and once you find the white platform, jump onto it to be swiftly carried to the Boss Area! When you arrive in this room, you will see Spikes on the floor, as well as a few platforms (one of which has the Giant Carrot!) with no Boss in sight. However, Daffy Duck will be to the right, guarding a trove of carrots (collect them if you wish). Whenever you are done here, grab the easily accessible Giant Carrot, and head off to the next round. The usual Daffy Duck rules apply with him being invulnerable to your attacks, and he will remove one quarter heart per hit. o-----------o | ROUND 5-4 | o-----------o Go right to jump up the ledges while collecting Carrots an dispatching the Hopping Toad army that is located here, you will arrive at the top of the formation where you will use the white platform just as it turns visible to get the Carrots above it. Next you need to kill the Walking Mallet on the ledge to the right where the Bead Snake circles, and then hop to the white platform on the left to be whisked away to the next section of the level. When you arrive you will jump right to kill the Walking Mallet, avoid the falling Rocks, and get the Carrots from the ledge above before using the white platform to go off to the next segment of the Round. When you come onto the screen, immediately move right to avoid the falling Alarm Clocks, and then head right to use the black platform to go on the high road as the bricks you just walked on are falling away (plus you avoid all the Alarm Clocks as well). Get the Carrots as you go right, and when you come o the spot with a Bead Snake below a ledge with a load of Carrots and a Heart Icon, wait beside the Bead Snake for the Alarm Clock on your left to respawn. When it comes near you, jump on top of it before hopping up to the ledge with all the goodies for you, and then take a running leap to the right to land on a white platform. Jump to the ledge on the right (just take the hit from the Bead Snake if you have to), collect four Carrots, and then hop across the two black platforms to the solid ledge. Use the white platform when it is visible to reach the next ledge, followed by another white platform so you can grab four Carrots, and then return to the ledge on the left. Now fall down to the top of the tree for the Heart Icon, grab the tree trunk, and then clean the Carrot stash from the branches. Then you just need to hop down to the tree trunk below to head off to the Boss Fight! You will enter this room to see that both Foghorn and Leghorn (BOY, I say Boy! It is Foghorn Leghorn son!), and one of his arch-nemesis’s in The Chickenhawk! The Chickenhawk will remove one quarter of a heart for each hit he puts on you, and Foghorn Leghorn will not harm you unless you walk into his side for one quarter of a heart damage (you can stand on his head with no penalty to your health)! To win in this room, all you need to do is jump down through the carrot, jump off of Foghorn Leghorn to the now present WB logo, and then hop up to the ledge above where the Chickenhawk awaits. Once on the ledge just above the Chickenhawk, just swing your mallet into the helpless Chickenhawk for three quick hits, and he will fall off the screen quickly. Foghorn Leghorn will quickly die after the Chickenhawk falls away. Another quick note for this fight is that if you stand on Foghorn Leghorn and then swing your mallet, Foghorn will quickly move back to right underneath the WB logo. After finishing these two off, you have just one more World to go! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------Haunted House------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8) This section will cover the path Bugs Bunny must traverse in Round 6-1 to Round 6-4. o-----------o | ROUND 6-1 | o-----------o Start off your trek through the hug Haunted House by getting the six Carrots that are in your sight while avoiding the Alarm Clock, and continue right to the conveyor belt where a Ghost attacks you as you get two Carrots. fight the conveyor belt as you go right till you come to a seesaw, which you should use to reach the vase above. Grab the five Carrots in the room with help from the white platform, head back out to the conveyor belt area, and head right on the conveyor belt that moves with you to get three Carrots as another Ghost attacks. Leap to the next conveyor belt, fight it as you jump through the two Carrots to land on solid ground again where you should dodge the Rock immediately upon landing. Now continue right over the gap to find a white platform (just ignore it), and then you see two platforms running parallel to one another. They both have breakable bricks in them, and if one breaks on the top platform, the one directly below will not. It works with the solid ones on the top, have breakables in the bottom row. The trick is to walk on every second one in a row once you figure the pattern out. GO right with this knowledge in hand to get a couple Carrots from the bottom near the seesaw, and then continue right for the three Carrots on the ledge, followed by a hop over the gap for two more Carrots. Jump the gap to get three more Carrots, go by the falling rock ledge, and then wait for the Diver to come down to your level and start to retreat before you go by it as well. Now you will see a white platform giving the option of the high road or the low road. The high road has falling stagtilites for you to pass as well as the odd crumbling block, but the low road has a bunch of Divers for you to pass. Either way you do it, you will see two Hawks coming along the bottom with two Hearts for you (the high road will drop you down if you walk on it). Now continue right past the Diver, past the falling Rocks, collect the Carrots on the ground, and then go past the Diver to the ledge with the Alarm Clock. Jump the gap to the ledge with the four stagtilites falling, run through their dropping area to jump to the higher ledge on the right to go fight an Alarm Clock followed by a Hawk with a Heart for you to refill your life on. Now you need to hop the gap as you get the two Carrots, go through the narrow opening past the stagtilites to get two Carrots from the room, and then go right to pass a Ghost while hitting the approaching Hawk to get yourself another Heart for a partial life meter refill. Go right to grab the two Carrots, kill the Walking Mallet, and head down the vase to go to the Boss Fight! Daffy Duck is still looking to get Bugs Bunny during Rabbit Season yet again! The usual rules for Daffy Duck still apply with one quarter of heart removed per hit, and Daffy is invulnerable to all attacks. The easiest, fastest and safest way to do it is to jump up to touch the two carrots above you, jump onto the resulting WB logos, and then hop across the top two platforms to land on the Rabbit Season sign before jumping up to the next ledge for the Giant Carrot collection. o-----------o | ROUND 6-2 | o-----------o Grab the Carrot to your right, use the WB logo to get the one above when the Rock is gone, and then head right to get the Carrots to use the WB logos to reach the high Carrots (remember that all kinds of things are falling from the ceilings of the platforms). Now you should head right to repeat the same process on the next set of Carrots, and then run right to get a couple more Carrots. Now use the WB logo to get the Carrots on the ledge above, go right on top of the highest ledge, and kill the Alarm Clocks that are in your way until you reach the gap you need to leap. Collect the three Carrots, go past the two stagtilites, get three more Carrots, and then hop the gap to go past a Trashcan Man for three more Carrots. Now you have to jump into a stagtilite as it falls so it hurts you for a quarter of a heart (instead of the Spikes taking one whole heart), and then you have to run right while collecting the Carrots. As soon as you see the Alarm Clock walking in the spikes, jump onto it so the Spikes will not hurt you, and then jump right to the solid land. Another Trashcan Man greets you here, so go by him to find another stagtilite shower for you to pass, and then you will see three Hawks you should kill for the Hearts they hold. Climb down the ladder, go left past the Trashcan Man for the two Carrots he guards, and then head right past him once more to see more Hawks to replenish your depleted life meter from the attacks from the Alarm Clocks. Now you need to climb the ladder again, jump right to the white platform over the Spikes, get the Carrots as you leap to the ledge on the right, and then leap the gap in the floor. Use the seesaw you see to boost yourself to the three Carrots and to clear the gap. Once on the conveyor belt, run right past the two Alarm Clocks while getting the two Carrots, and then use the black platform to get to the next conveyor belt where two Hawks attack you with Hearts all ready for you. Collect the Carrots here before you go right over another gap in the conveyor belts courtesy of a black platform. Go right past the Alarm Clock to jump the gap for a couple Carrots, and then walk underneath the platform on the right to jump up and get the Carrots before leaving to the right. Now you should run right along the middle ledge of the top and ground floor while getting the first Carrot, and then when you see a group of Carrots in the air, be ready to jump the charging Diver. Collect any Carrots you missed when avoiding the Diver, and then head down the vase to arrive at the Boss Fight for the Round! Elmer Fudd has returned for one more attempt to get that Wascally Wabbit! Elmer has two methods of attack: 1) Shooting a net to trap Bugs for a short period of time, and 2) walking into Bugs. Both of these attacks remove one quarter of a heart each. Remember that if you get netted by Elmer’s attacks, quickly wiggle LEFT and RIGHT alternately to break loose faster than waiting for the net to let go. To finally stop the frequent Elmer attacks, attack Elmer using the following method to beat him easily: Wait for Elmer to shoot a net at Bugs, jump the net, swing your mallet as you are falling down while in range of Elmer, and then repeat two more times to move onto the next Round. o-----------o | ROUND 6-3 | o-----------o Collect all seven Carrots at the start, go past the Alarm Clock to hop to the white platform over the Spikes, and then jump for the Carrots as you go right to clear a pit to land on some stairs. Get the Carrots, kill the Alarm Clock, and then run underneath the falling rock ledges. Wait for all the Alarm Clocks on the conveyor belts to self destruct, and then you need to carefully hop up the conveyor belt ledges to reach the top of the set where you hop to the ledge on the right. Once there, jump the springboard in the ground carefully so it does not launch you into the Spikes above, but be sure to not hit the Spikes yourself. Get the two Carrots above the stairs, hop to the ledge on the right (the ground at the bottom of the stairs is false, you will fall through it), and then get the Carrots above the blue ledge before heading left past the two Alarm Clocks to go down the vase to the next segment of the Round. Go jump the Spikes below to the platform where you can kill an Alarm Clock, climb a ladder, and then do a mini-hop (tap the A Button) to clear the springboard in the floor so you or it do not cause the Spikes above to hit poor bugs. Go up the ladder in front of you to grab two Carrots (careful of the falling stagtilites from above), head right to the ladder, and then climb it to get to the vase to head you off to the next segment of the Round. Grab the three Carrots, run underneath the stagtilite rain, and jump on top of the Trashcan Man so you can use the black platform to get the Carrot above it. Head right past more stagtilites, grab the two Carrots, get on to the resulting WB logos, and jump the gap as you get two more Carrots. When you land on the ledge, jump to the black platform above the Spikes, and then hop to the vase before the black platform disappears, where you can do down the vase to move to the next room of the Haunted house. Go jump the Spikes below to the platform where you can kill an Alarm Clock, climb a ladder, and then do a mini-hop (tap the A Button) to clear the springboard in the floor so you or it do not cause the Spikes above to hit poor bugs. Go up the ladder in front of you to grab two Carrots (careful of the falling stagtilites from above), head right towards the ladder, but be sure to jump when you get over the section of floor where the floor below is not directly under (false floor will cause you to fall through). Once you are past the trap, climb the ladder and go left to the vase to go into the next section of the level. Jump across the gap to the small ledge, wait for the Alarm Clocks to obliterate themselves, and then jump onto the conveyor belt where you get a few Carrots. Jump tot he next conveyor belt, kill the two Alarm Clocks patrolling back and forth along it, grab the two Carrots, and then head over the Spikes to the vase, which takes you to the next segment of the Round! Go jump the Spikes below to the platform where you climb a ladder, and then do a mini-hop (tap the A Button) to clear the springboard in the floor so you or it do not cause the Spikes above to hit poor bugs. Go up the ladder in front of you to grab two Carrots (careful of the falling stagtilites from above), and head right to mini-jump (tap the A Button) to clear the springboard without running into the Spikes on the ceiling. Next you have to jump the same spot you hopped in the floor in the last room like this to get past the false floor to the ladder, which you climb to get up to the vase. This will take you to the Boss Room! Daffy Duck sure is persistent isn't he? Anyway, Rabbit Season is open for business again, and you can not harm Daffy Duck as usual. Daffy will also remove one quarter of heart per hit he puts on you. This room requires the most work of all the Daffy Duck rooms, and that is not surprising considering this is the LAST time you have to fight him (YES!). Start by getting Daffy Duck moving on his platform, wait till he has to be heading right when you jump up to his level, and then jump up to collect the two Carrots above you. Now you need to hop up to the WB logos, jump right to hit the Carrot in the air (do this when Daffy is heading to the left), and then run off the platform to the right. Now head back to the left side of the platform (you are still below it), and then hop up onto the platform before hopping to the WB logo. Now hop right to the next WB logo, and then hop across to the ledge on the right with the Giant Carrot to end the Round! o-----------o | ROUND 6-4 | o-----------o Run right to mini-hop the springboard as the stagtilites are breaking on the floor, and then do another mini-hop to clear out from underneath the next stagtilite wave coming down. Next you have to jump to up as the stagtilites break so you can run through to jump to the conveyor belt on the right (it is over the large Spike bed). Jump the Alarm Clock that comes at you, jump to the conveyor belt on the right, wait for the Alarm Clocks to blow up, and then jump up to the left to the next conveyor belt. Now you should continue up the conveyor belt set to the top one, where you have to dodge stagtilites as you go left to solid land. Go down the staircase carefully as you avoid the falling implements of hurt, and be sure to jump the springboard before you get to the vase, which takes you tot he next segment of the level. Jump the gap tot he right while ignoring the Alarm Clock, and continue right to get on the conveyor belt. Kill the Alarm Clock that inhabits this conveyor belt, and then take a running leap to the right at the springboard. This will launch you upwards past the gap tot he vase up high near the Spikes (do not worry about avoiding the stagtilites as they will hit you regardless of what you do). Head right to hop the gap, go up the stairs, and then go underneath the falling stagtilites. Wait on the edge for the Alarm Clocks on the right to blow themselves to smithereens, and then jump onto the conveyor belt set. As you move up the set, kill/avoid the Alarm Clocks that are higher up, and remember that you should try and fall onto a lower ledge if you mess up anywhere so the Spikes will not take a whole Heart from you. Once you reach the top, jump left pass the falling rock ledge to hit eh springboard so you launch in the air to the left of the Spikes on the ceiling. Head down the stairs to go left towards the vase, avoid the rock ledge falling from above, and then go down the vase to head t the next room of the Haunted House! Head right to hop the gap, go up the stairs, and then jump to the conveyor belt between falling rock ledges. The conveyor belt requires you to avoid another falling rock ledge, and then jump off the conveyor belt to go down the vase sitting there. Wait for the first rock ledge to fall, go past it, and then repeat the same procedure on the second falling rock ledge. Go up the stairs to discover two blue ledges to your right over the Spike bed. Carefully go across these ledges as block two and three of the higher ledge will immediately break away on you, and block four and block five will break away on the lower ledge. Get on the bottom ledge, jump to the last one in the line, and then hop onto the springboard to launch yourself up to the vase on the high platform (do not worry about getting hit by the stagtilites as it is really hard to avoid). Go down the vase to enter a small room where you will need to hop a small hole in the floor to reach another vase, which you go down to reach the vase above. The thing is, this vase is in the Boss Room! The Tasmanian Devil is the final foe you will face on your path to the Birthday Bash being thrown by your fan club in your honour! You will appear through the vase, and the Tasmanian Devil will be below you. The Tasmanian Devil appears to have taken up football waiting for you to arrive at this nice Mansion, and his attacks will remove one whole heart from your life meter (touching will remove one quarter heart only). How do you take down the toughest Looney Tune of them all? You need to hit the footballs thrown at you back at the Tazmanian Devil for six hits to send him packing. Sounds simple enough, but the footballs move quite fast as well as a football hit at him can be blocked by the next one he throws (more likely to happen when he has sped up from a few hits). The Tazmanian Devil also hoofs it back and forth across the room quite fast himself. After six hits, you will have succeeded in winning the game, so a hearty Congratulations to yourself for a job well done! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Bestiary---------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9) This section will list the enemies you will face on your long journey, how they behave, and any other additional information relevant to your encounters with them. If it is not mentioned, they remove one quarter of a heart. Alarm Clocks : These clocks will walk back and forth on their assigned platform for a few seconds, and when the alarm goes off, they will flash before exploding quickly after that. They will also explode if you whack them with your mallet from the side, but if you stand on them and whack them, they will go flying in the opposite direction you face till they hit something or fall off a cliff. Bead Snake : These guys move on a set spot (back and forth, or in circular motions around a specific spot). They are harmful to Bugs when they are coloured red, but they are safe to touch when green or blue (depending on the area of the game you are in). Use this to your advantage when you encounter them. Boulder : These come in and out of rabbit holes, oil drums, pipes, tree trunks, and jars. They can not be killed, and you just need to let them go back into their hole before going down the hole yourself. Bullet Sprinkler: These grey things will extend to the top of their reach, shoot three bullets, shrink down, and then hop towards Bugs before doing it again. The best way to take them out is to get them on the hop. They remove a whole heart per bullet, but only one quarter of a heart with a touch. Comet : These blazing fireballs will shoot from their source in the ground, and they will fly upwards at a very fast speed. Invulnerable to attack, they will remove one quarter of a heart per hit. Diver : Found in the last World only, these red and white guys will block your path by coming down from the ceiling, going up to the ceiling, or along a horizontal path (depending on where they are parked). They remove one quarter per hit, and they can not be killed. Let them go by, and then run through the open space before they return. Ghost : These white beings inhabit the second half of the game, and they fly on 45 degree angles, up and down. After a while, they will change direction to suddenly go in the opposite direction. It is impossible to kill them, so avoid or be penalized by one quarter a heart per hit. Ground Gnat : These little red blobs make their home in quicksand. They move around very quickly, but in their own small areas. They will remove one quarter of a heart from your life meter, and they are impervious to your attacks. These guys will often have an alternate path past them, so look for a high path past. Hawk : These yellow enemies fly on big diagonals through the air, and they usually do not pose much of a threat. If you kill them, they will leave behind a Heart for you every time (refills one heart on your life meter). Hopping Toad : These thick-skinned, red coloured toads will relentlessly hop around when Bugs Bunny enters their immediate area. They are tough little buggers, requiring three mallet swings to bring down, but they still only do one quarter of a heart damage per hit. Avoid them if you can, as they are just not worth the trouble of killing. Oil Barrel : These enemies can not hurt you, but they will indirectly cause you problems by darkening the screen for a short while. Jump on top of one when you see it, and quickly whack it with your mallet to send it sliding. One Ton Weight : These come in two colours: Red and Blue. Red will try to hop off a ledge to cause a ground tremor, which also summons many enemies. Blue will hop around on a platform, and if Bugs knock them off the ledge with his mallet, the ground will tremor, which destroys all enemies on screen. Rock : These fall from the sky, and they can be destroyed with your mallet. However, once broken, they spray shrapnel over a small area, and they will likely damage you as well. They also respawn from their place of origin to come at you again. Avoid them as best you can. Soap Box : These enemies will walk along the ground. There are two colours of this enemy, and each behaves in a different manner. The red ones will spit out bubbles to try and hit Bugs Bunny (these bubbles will often change direction after a bit of flight time). Grey ones will just walk around until they get killed, at which point they transform into a bubble that Bugs can ride into the sky. Both types take one mallet swing to take down. Spikes : These are found in various shapes and sizes, but they all have the same things in common. They remove one whole heart per touch, and they can not be killed through any method. Just avoid them, but that is easier said than done sometimes. Tarantula : This enemy will drop from the treetops to try and bite you. They remove one quarter of a heart per hit, and Bugs is unable to damage them. Avoid them whenever they threaten Bugs. Trashcan Man : These reclusive fellows will hide in the safety of their aluminum homes, and drop Alarm Clock after Alarm Clock to attack you. They can not directly harm you, but you can not hurt them either. Go by them quickly to avoid problems. Tumbleweed : These brown and twisted plants will roll forward in a straight line in an attempt to take you down. These enemies are impervious to your attacks, and they will remove one quarter of a heart per touch on you. Walking Mallet : These red mallets will walk around for a bit, and then they will jump into the air to try and hit you. One mallet whack will finish them off quickly. Whirlwind : This gathering of wind will come streaking across the screen to put the hurt on you (to the tune of one quarter heart per hit). These can not be attacked in any way. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------Bosses----------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10)This section will give the best ways to beat the Boss at the end of every round. o-----------o | ROUND 1-1 | o-----------o The first level throws Daffy Duck in your way. Daffy will attack Bugs Bunny by running back and forth along the ground in a rapid manner. Each hit from Daffy Duck will remove one fourth of a heart (the heart will turn white, then black, then empty, and then it disappears completely). Daffy Duck is invulnerable to your mallet attacks, so you need to jump into carrots to gather them for yourself, and then use the resulting solid Warner Brothers symbols as ledges to reach the Giant Carrot above the Rabbit Season sign to get into your balloon to reach the next Round. o-----------o | ROUND 1-2 | o-----------o You arrive in this room in the top-right corner, and all you will see when you arrive is a single bush closer to the right side of the room than the left side of the room. Three hits will do it here. o-----------o | ROUND 1-3 | o-----------o Daffy Duck returns once more, and this time you have a moving platform to ride above him so you can reach the Giant Carrot. Grab the four regular carrots as you go across on the moving platform, and then jump up to touch the Giant Carrot to leave the Round. Keep in mind that Daffy Duck can not be hurt, and he will remove quarter heart per touch on you. o-----------o | ROUND 1-4 | o-----------o Wile E. Congratulations on finishing World One! o-----------o | ROUND 2-1 | o-----------o Daffy Duck is back, and this time you actually have to work a little bit to get to the Giant Carrot. Now you need to hit the higher part of the seesaw to launch yourself into the air, land on the brick, jump up to the higher ledge, and then collect the carrots before getting the Giant Carrot to leave the level. o-----------o | ROUND 2-2 | o-----------o This room contains only a cloud on the ground closer to the right side of the room instead of the left side of the room. Tweety Bird is of course hiding behind this cloud, and you will need to use the same tactics as before (bait Tweety out, run away quickly, and then turn and swing mallet). Three hits will send Tweety packing. The usual rules of a quarter heart removed per hit. o-----------o | ROUND 2-3 | o-----------o This room has no Boss for you to tangle with, so just use your mallet to bust through the impressive amount of rock blocks in your path. Bust through the bottom left or extreme right set of rock blocks to reach the Giant Carrot quickly so you can leave this Round behind. o-----------o | ROUND 2-4 | o-----------o Yosamite Sam, the roughest toughest hombre to ever lock horns with a rabbit awaits you here. Take the Giant Carrot to leave World Two behind you! o-----------o | ROUND 3-1 | o-----------o Daffy Duck is once again ready to greet Bugs Bunny when he arrives to find his Big Carrot. This is a really simple one to do, so follow these directions closely (not really needed to follow closely, but anyway): Jump from your platform to the rock ledge above you to the right, and then hop from there to the rock ledge further right to get your Giant Carrot. Daffy can not be harmed as usual, and he does remove quarter of a heart in the usual fashion as well. o-----------o | ROUND 3-2 | o-----------o Elmer Fudd appears to try and get the Wascally Wabbit in this Round. Do this three times to make short work out of the inept hunter. o-----------o | ROUND 3-3 | o-----------o Daffy Duck has returned again! It is too bad you can not wallop this guy so he would not return, but his Boss Rooms are rather simple, so I guess we can not complain about. The usual rules of one quarter heart removed per hit and Daffy is invulnerable to your attacks apply. The easiest room yet as Bugs Bunny just needs to walk off the oil drum, and then hold LEFT on the D-Pad to get your Giant Carrot to finish the Round. o-----------o | ROUND 3-4 | o-----------o Sylvester the Cat's Son guards the end of World Three while riding his trusty... This will get you out of World Three, and onto World Four! o-----------o | ROUND 4-1 | o-----------o After making your way through the first cave of the World, you will arrive to learn that Rabbit Season is indeed on. Once again Daffy Duck has returned with his usual effects of removing one quarter heart per hit and his invulnerability. He will have a few rock ledges above him, which you need to hop across to reach the Giant Carrot to finish the Round. o-----------o | ROUND 4-2 | o-----------o You will arrive in a room with four platforms (one occupied by the pipe you came in through), and two rock formations that can hide things (just guess at who the Boss is). Hit Tweety Bird three times to end this Round. o-----------o | ROUND 4-3 | o-----------o Daffy Duck is back again! To beat this incarnation of Daffy Duck, jump him as he charges you, jump onto the Rabbit Season sign, and then hop up to the Giant Carrot. The usual rules of quarter heart removed per hit and Daffy is invulnerable. o-----------o | ROUND 4-4 | o-----------o Pepe Le Pew is the final guardian of World 4! Three hits will send the lovesick Skunk back to France where he can try to get a lady skunk (although he will likely find a cat for that...). o-----------o | ROUND 5-1 | o-----------o Daffy Duck appearing should not be of any shock to you, and here he is like his good old punctual self. The usual rules of Daffy is invulnerable and he removes one quarter of a heart per hit still apply. Wait till Daffy Duck charges at the tree stump you came through, jump over him, head left, and then hop onto the block on the far right. Now you just need to hop across the blocks going left till you reach the ledge by the left wall with the Giant Carrot to end the round! o-----------o | ROUND 5-2 | o-----------o Elmer Fudd returns to torment you on this Round! Remember to wiggle back and forth quickly to break free of the net quickly. o-----------o | ROUND 5-3 | o-----------o When you arrive in this room, you will see spikes on the floor, as well as a few platforms (one of which has the Giant Carrot!) with no Boss in sight. However, Daffy Duck will be to the right, guarding a trove of carrots (collect them if you wish). Whenever you are done here, grab the easily accessible Giant Carrot, and head off to the next round. The usual Daffy Duck rules apply with him being invulnerable to your attacks, and he will remove one quarter heart per hit. o-----------o | ROUND 5-4 | o-----------o You will enter this room to see that both Foghorn and Leghorn (BOY, I say Boy! After finishing these two off, you have just one more World to go! o-----------o | ROUND 6-1 | o-----------o Daffy Duck is still looking to get Bugs Bunny during Rabbit Season yet again! The usual rules for Daffy Duck still apply with one quarter of heart removed per hit, and Daffy is invulnerable to all attacks. The easiest, fastest and safest way to do it is to jump up to touch the two carrots above you, jump onto the resulting WB logos, and then hop across the top two platforms to land on the Rabbit Season sign before jumping up to the next ledge for the Giant Carrot collection. o-----------o | ROUND 6-2 | o-----------o Elmer Fudd has returned for one more attempt to get that Wascally Wabbit! To finally stop the frequent Elmer attacks, attack Elmer using the following method to beat him easily: Wait for Elmer to shoot a net at Bugs, jump the net, swing your mallet as you are falling down while in range of Elmer, and then repeat two more times to move onto the next Round. o-----------o | ROUND 6-3 | o-----------o Daffy Duck sure is persistent isn't he? Now hop right to the next WB logo, and then hop across to the ledge on the right with the Giant Carrot to end the Round! o-----------o | ROUND 6-4 | o-----------o The Tasmanian Devil is the final foe you will face on your path to the Birthday Bash being thrown by your fan club in your honour! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------Items----------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11)This section will list all of the items found within the game, and what effect they have upon Bugs. Carrot : These are collected to give Bugs Bunny a chance to use the Bonus Round at the end of each Round for the chance at extra lives. They also turn into WB logos once collected, which can be stood upon. Fast Mallet : This icon will have a mallet on it. This will allow Bugs to be able to swing his mallet much faster than he normally can. Giant Carrot: These are your ticket out of each Round into the Bonus Round and then next Round. Bosses guard each one, so you need to do battle to get them. Heart : These are found by killing Hawks along your journey. They will refill one whole heart of your life meter. Heart Icon : This icon will completely fill Bugs life meter to it's fullest amount (three hearts). It has a large heart on it. High Jump : This icon looks like a small Bugs moving farther (little lines behind it). It will allow Bugs to jump to heights he previously could not reach. After taking a hit, this icon will usually wear off. It is accompanied by a change in music as well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------Bonus Rounds-------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12)This section will look at the two types of Bonus Rounds, and how each one works (how to get 1-Ups and how many you receive). o------------------------------------o | ROUNDS ONE TO THREE ON EVERY WORLD | o------------------------------------o -For every 10 Carrots you collect, you get to draw five balls. -every board gives you a Free Space in the exact centre of the board. -After drawing the five balls, the game will check to see if you got three, four, or five squares in a row. -For three squares in a row, Bugs will receive a 1-Up. -For four squares in a row, Bugs will receive a 5-Up! -For five squares in a row, Bugs will receive a 50-Up!!! -Here is what the game board looks like: +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ | |---| |---| |---| |---| | +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ | \ | | | / | | \ | | | / | | \ | | | / | +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ | |---| |---| |---| |---| | +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ | | \ | / | | | | \ | / | | | | \ | / | | +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ | |---| |---|FP|---| |---| | +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ | | / | \ | | | | / | \ | | | | / | \ | | +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ | |---| |---| |---| |---| | +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ | / | | | \ | | / | | | \ | | / | | | \ | +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ | |---| |---| |---| |---| | +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ +--+ -As you can see, not all diagonals will pay-off, so keep that in mind before you get angry with the game for ripping you off. -This Bonus Round is more luck, but it can pay-off with large amounts of 1-Ups (5-Up or even a 50-Up!). o----------------------------------o | ROUND FOUR ON WORLDS ONE TO FIVE | o----------------------------------o -For every 20 Carrots you collect, you get one round of smashing moles. -Each game is timed. -For every target you reach, one more 1-Up is added to your total extra lives. -Here are the targets for each 1-Up: 10, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26...
