The quiet, peace-loving Mushroom People were turned into mere stones, bricks and even field horse-hair plants, and the Mushroom Kingdom fell into ruin. The only one who can undo the magic spell on the Mushroom People and return them to their normal selves is the Princess Toadstool, the daughter of the Mushroom King. Unfortunately, she is presently in the hands of the great Koopa turtle king. Mario, the hero of the story (maybe) hears about the Mushroom People's plight and sets out on a quest to free the Mushroom Princess from the evil Koopa and restore the fallen kingdom of the Mushroom People. You are Mario! It's up to you to save the Mushroom People from the black magic of the Koopa! *********************** -CONTROLS- ##################### # Super Mario Bros. # ##################### Control Pad: -Move character left or right -Use with B Button to run -Duck(Super Mario only) A Button: -Jump, jump higher if held down longer -Used to "bob up" when swimming B Button: -Used to run with Control Pad -Throw fireballs Start Button: -Pause Select Button: -Choose 1 Player or 2 Player on main screen ############# # Duck Hunt # ############# (Controller 1 must be in socket 1, the Zapper must be in socket 2) Control Pad: -Control ducks in Game A A Button: -Not used B Button: -Not used Start Button: -Used to pause game, also possible with Zapper Select Button: -Used to choose between games Trigger: -Start game, fire at ducks or clay pigeons *********************** -ITEMS- Items: Affect: 1 Up Mushroom Gain an extra life(mushroom is green in color) Coins 100 coins result in extra life ? Follow it all the way to the right, past the exit pipe. You should find a room with three pipes in it. They take you to either worlds 2, 3, or 4. World 4-2: Towards the end of the level, you should find a lift that goes up. As in World 1-2, ride to the top, and run along the top area. You should find a pipe that leads to World 5. World 6-4: Starting at World 6-4, Bowswer will start throwing hammers similar to the Hammer Bros. World 7-4: In World 7-4, the castle requires a special pattern to be able to move further ahead. You notice there are 3 different leveled platforms. The bottom, the middle, and the top. In the first section, it goes: Bottom Middle Top After you go through it that way, you will come to another area, it follows this path: Top Middle Top World 8-3: On the platform where the Hammer Bros. are, there are items. Magic Mushrooms or Fire Flowers. Use them to your advantage. World 8-4: In World 8-4, you must go down pipes in certain orders. Here is the order: 3rd Pipe 4th Pipe(pipe in air), there should be an invisible coin box to the left. 4th Pipe(first pipe after the lava pit). When you beat the game, a new mode will open up. This mode is basically the same as the first, with a few changes. Most notable is the lack of Goombas, with Buzzy Beetle in its place. Enemies are also faster. ########### # Enemies # ########### (thanks to www.classicgaming.com/tmk for the names) Name: Bloober Description: The jellyfish enemy found only in underwater boards.
