I N T R O D U C T I O N .............................................*INTRO =============================================================================== Nakayoshi to Issho is an unusual RPG that is based on characters from a Japanese manga magazine called 'Nakayoshi'. It was designed to be a simple, short and easy game for young girls, and it's not surprising that it was never released outside Japan. However, this FAQ is based on a recent fan translation into English. Six manga authors have had their favourite pens stolen and your task is to get them back and bring peace to each setting. Each chapter is a separate entity and you cannot return to a previous area once you've moved on. At the start of each chapter you're given a special weapon which is only used in that chapter and returned to the manga author at the end, when you give back the lost pen. There are Gold Gems to collect, which serve no other purpose than to move things on, and won't even appear in the inventory. Although it's an easy game to beat, there are some very quirky features which are explained in the game basics and battle system sections, and I've included a few maps to help with navigating the slightly confusing towns. Enemies are listed for each area in the walkthrough since their locations are very specific. Any item listed as [KEY] will not appear in the inventory, and is used for story purposes. =============================================================================== II. Menu System 04. Storage and Shopping 05. Navigation --------- 1. Allies --------- An ally will join the heroine in each chapter, and is found by talking to a particular character early on the chapter. You don't see the ally in a a battle and they won't receive any damage, but they might join in the battle, healing the heroine, if you get a smiley face icon in the middle spinning reel. As the game progresses more characters are added to the address book and you can phone them for a chat. To do this you need to have a Phone Card. It's not essential to call them, but gives a little extra something to do and they will give a few hints. Each call uses about 5 or 6 points depending on the length of the response. If you run out of points on the Phone Card you can buy another one at a Phone Card shop, for 1000 Peach. These are all the people you can call and the advice they give. NAME CHAPTER ADDED ADVICE Wapiko - Chapter 1 Each heart represents 30 HP. Transforming without a ring makes you lose health. Riho - Chapter 2 The park is a strange place. MinMin - Chapter 3 MinMin may be stupid but she never forgets to save! There's only one Gold gem left. Moe - Chapter 4 Don't get lost like my racket did. Rakira has the last Gold Gem Kurumi - Chapter 5 Do you have a Lapis? They seem strong! Artemis - Chapter 6 Come back and visit your friends sometimes! If you get three stars in the slots, Tuxedo Mask will appear. ------------------- 02. Saving the Game ------------------- To save the game you need to find a pink telephone. This might appear inside a building or just randomly placed in a wood or town, and it looks like a pink square. The first name on the list can be called for free as he's the Editor of Nakayoshi who will ask if you want to save the game. Select the Yes option to do so, and choose one of three save slots. The next option is to take a rest or to carry on. If you take a rest you can re-start the game from that save file by choosing Continue at the loading screen. --------------- 03. Menu System --------------- Press Select to view the inventory. .____________________________________ | Phone | Food | Items | | Cards | | | |_________| Donut x3 | Wand | | Goods | Bun x1 | Ring | | Battle | | | |_________| | | | Eat/Use | | | | Toss | | | |_________|_____________|____________| | Ally | | | Picture | Details of selected item | |_________|__________________________| GOODS The cursor will be at the left, on the word "Goods". Press A to choose Goods and another cursor appears on the Food list. Use the directional button to select a food item. A pretty picture of the food will appear in the box where the phone cards were shown and details of its healing properties appear in the bottom box. The side cursor will move down to give you the option to eat or toss the food. To select an item use the right directional button to shift the cursor to that list and then use the down and up buttons to move up and down the list. The selected item will appear in the Phone box and there's a description of what the item does at the bottom of the screen. Choose to Use the item. Note that food items can be used at any time, and will heal HP and MP in variable amounts. Sometimes an item might restore more HP than MP, and at other times the same item will restore more MP than HP, so it's important to check the results. BATTLE Select the Battle option to see a new menu screen where the Food list has been replaced with Weapons, and the Items list replaced with Gems. You cannot use any of these from the menu screen, but you can Toss them if you wish. That option is really only for getting rid of a really weak weapon when there's no shop nearby to sell it off. Use the cursor as before to check out the appearance, power and description of your battle goods. ------------------------ 04. Storage and Shopping ------------------------ - You can carry up to 7 of any item: food, weapons, accessories and gems, which includes the non-elemental one that cannot be sold or discarded. - You can carry up to 10 of each type of food. - You cannot buy more than one of each weapon or gem. - Everything carries over to the next chapter apart from the special weapon and accessory received from the Manga writer. - Anything you can buy can be sold again for half the purchase price. -------------- 05. Navigation -------------- In each chapter you have to find a Bus Pass to enable you to catch the bus from one location to another. Stand at the Bus Stop and a bus arrives immediately and takes you to wherever you have to go. Towns are laid out on four or six different screens with connecting paths and dead ends, which are not obvious until you attempt to go along a particular pathway. In some chapters you'll find a Park in a town that is entered from a gap in the fence or hedge. =============================================================================== IV. B A T T L E S Y S T E M ........................................ *BATTLE =============================================================================== 1. Battle Menu 2. Spinning Reels 3. Enemies The battle system is rather odd, but at least it's turn-based! You don't see any numbers for health or attacks, and all attacks are a matter of luck. You don't equip anything, but a weapon from the inventory is used at random if you hit the correct icon on the reel. Magic attacks require MP to use, and are based on the gems you carry. The battle system involves stopping each of three spinning reels in turn to generate a range of weapon, fist or elemental attacks which are selected based on the gems and weapons you carry. You can choose the element: fire, ice or lightning, but cannot pick the weapon or gem to use. The idea is to carry the best weapons and gems you can buy or find in that chapter, and get rid of weaker ones. -------------- 1. Battle Menu -------------- To initiate a battle you must talk to an enemy. Most of them are not obvious, as they are disguised as animals or humans, although they all appear in set locations. When the battle starts their sprite changes. Choose one of the three elemental icons to start the three spinning slots and press A to stop each reel in turn. The round then plays out automatically with you and the enemy taking turns to fire off attacks. If they are still alive by the end of the round the sequence starts again. Before the round starts you can choose to use healing items to restore some HP and MP. You can also select to run away and this works immediately for nearly all battles, except for the final boss and a couple of other named "boss" enemies. With no MP left a gem attack will fail, and if HP runs out you'll die. and will be given the option to try again by loading your last save, or quit. It's worth dying at least once just to see the consequent animation. .__________________________________________________ | Peach | HP (Hearts) | MP | |_____________|__________________|_________________| | | | Enemy picture Heroine Picture | | | |--------------------------------------------------| | FIRE | ICE | LIGHTNING | | CUTLERY | FLEE | |______|______|___________|______|__________|______| Peach - shows your current cash total HP - Each heart represents 30 HP MP - Each blue circle represents 30 MP Fire - Select this icon and if the gem icon appears, the fire gem is used. Ice - Select this icon and if the gem icon appears, the ice gem is used. Lightning - Select this icon and if the gem icon appears, the lightning gem is used. Omni Gem - This gem can be picked randomly when a gem icon appears. Cutlery - Select this icon and you can eat an item of food to heal HP and MP. This does not use a turn and you can eat as many items of food as you wish. Flee - Select the running figure to escape from most battles. ----------------- 2. Spinning Reels ----------------- This works like a slot machine and when the reels have stopped moving you'll see three icons which determine what kinds of attacks occur for that round. SMILEY FACE This prompts your companion to take action. Most often they won't do anything useful and are asleep, hungry, dazed or some other ineffective status. Occasionally they will fully heal you. This icon will only appear on the middle reel. STAR This has a number of different effects depending on whether it appears once, twice (two stars next to each other) or three times. Two single stars (in the first and third position) will give two misses! 1 Star - Miss. 2 Stars - Continuous attack. The attack is twice as powerful and the enemy will miss getting an extra turn. 3 Stars - Red Rose. This powerful attack will instantly defeat most enemies, and even if it doesn't they will only get one attack. In the final chapter this will be the Tuxedo Mask attack. You can make a phone call to Artemis who will tell you this! BAG This icon prompts the use of one of your weapons. Which one is completely random and this is why it's important not to keep weaker weapons. 1 Bag - Hit the enemy with a weapon. 2 Bags - Hit the enemy twice with a weapon. 3 Bags - Megaton attack. This is a single special attack that can defeat weaker enemies in one blow. Enemies with higher HP might survive, but will only get one attack on their turn. FIST This icon means that you will hit the enemy without using magic or a weapon. It's a weak attack compared to other attacks. 1 Fist - Hit the enemy once. 2 Fists - Make two hits on the enemy. 3 Fists - Launch a single powerful critical attack. This will kill most enemies outright. GEM Depending on the choice of element on the battle menu, the appropriate elemental gem will be used to attack the enemy. This attack uses MP and the more powerful the Gem, the more MP it uses. Sometimes the non-elemental gem is used instead, but you have no control over when that happens. 1 Gem - A single elemental attack. 2 Gems - Two elemental attacks. 3 Gems - Releases a very powerful single elemental attack that will destroy most enemies in one shot. (Inferno - Fire, Blizzard - Ice) SPECIAL ATTACKS In the final Sailor Moon chapter, Sailor Soldiers join the party and each one has a unique attack icon that gets added to the first and third spinning slots. Each one randomly generates one of two possible special attacks. The more of these new attacks you get, the less chance of getting three icons in a row, although that won't matter too much since these special attacks are powerful. AMI - Sailor Mercury Symbol - A blue heart with a V over the top of it. Shine Snow Illusion Shine Aqua Illusion REI - Sailor Mars Symbol - A red heart on its side with an arrow pointing to the upper right. Special - Burning Mandala Akuryou Taisan MAKOTO - Sailor Jupiter Symbol - A blue 4 shape. Special - Flower Hurricane Sparkling Wide Pressure MINAKO - Sailor Venus Symbol - A red heart with a small cross bar under it. Special - Rolling Hearts Vibration Venus Love Me Chain USAGI - Sailor Moon Symbol - A white crescent moon. Special - Moon Frisbee Moon Princess Inhalation ---------- 3. Enemies ---------- Monsters have taken over the land and when you talk to a seemingly innocuous cat, rabbit or person you might find an enemy. Defeating enemies does not result in experience gains: HP and MP are increased automatically by 30 points at the start of each chapter, but you do get Peach, the game's currency, and item drops of food, which are used to replenish HP and MP. Sometimes an enemy might have three or four parts to it and you can see how effective your attacks have been when one part disappears, but most of the time you won't know exactly how much damage you've done until the enemy is defeated. Enemies are all visible and when accosted their appearance changes, revealing the true nature of the monster! The same disguise might reveal a different enemy, and different disguises can be used for the same enemy. Some of them will re-appear if you leave that screen and return. Enemies are not identified by name, but all of them are described in this FAQ. You only ever fight a single enemy in a battle and, depending on your success with the spinning reels, they might get anything from one to three turns on each spin. Some of them are resistant to one of the three elemental gems, and others are especially weak to one element. Although their HP is not shown, it is always the same as the heroine, and they level up chapter by chapter. =============================================================================== =============================================================================== V. Start the game by selecting a New File and choose a name. You'll meet the Editor who explains what's going on. Nakayoshi World is threatened by an evil man called Rakira who has stolen the favourite pens of all the manga authors. His minions have taken Three Gold Gems which are important for some unknown reason. Your job is to save the world! He gives you the [QUARTZ] which is a non-elemental gem used in a battle. This gem cannot be dropped or sold and will be upgraded as the game progresses, if you find the right people who can do that. He explains that you save the game by phoning him (from a telephone box found in all worlds), and send you to meet Ms. Nekobe, the author of Goldfish Warning. You'll be teleported to her office and she gets down to business straight away. WAPIKO has been kidnapped and her favourite pen stolen. Why she can't sort this out herself I don't know, since she seems to have the necessary tools, however, she gives them to you: a [COW HORN] and [WAND]. This is when things get weird, as she tells you to use the Wand to transform into Wapiko and in this shape you can talk to animals. To change back, use the Wand again. (She doesn't tell you that you lose HP while transformed, so it's important to change back to your normal form.) She teleports you to New Country Junior High to meet Gyopi and the gang. I guess you'd know who these people are if you read the manga... You'll land inside a school compound and can check out your status and items. You have 200 Peach, three hearts and three orbs for magic. Press Shift to view your inventory which contains the three things you've already obtained. The Wand is listed as an item under the Goods heading. Use it and you'll see a corresponding change in the picture on the menu screen as well as on the map. You don't have any food items as yet. The boy will just confirm the name of the school. Enter the left building and it's not what you might expect to find in a schoolyard: it's a cow pen. Talk to the person here and he asks for your help in pushing the cows back into their pens. Press Start if you mess up so the puzzle re-sets. Walk up to the next screen to start the puzzle. Note that the reward for completing this puzzle will be lost inside the school as it's required to advance the story. It's just here to give you an alternative source for the item if you happen to use up the one you find inside the school. I'd recommend leaving the puzzle until after completing events inside the school and then you can keep the item! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.1. Carry on up the corridor and enter the Home Ec room. Talk to the girl to receive a free [BANANA]. Talk to her another 9 times to get as many as you can carry. It saves on having to buy stuff and it's a lot easier to acquire than bothering with the cow moving puzzle again. A white ghost like thing appears and wafts over to the right of the screen. Follow it and you'll discover a second building with a brown robot type enemy blocking the door. Although you can challenge it to a battle it won't fight you just yet. There's nothing else to find in the area so enter the Academy. This building is smaller than the other school and it's easy to find your way around. The first room is the Infirmary and the second room contains a Telephone where you can save your game. Walk up the hallway and enter the first classroom off the top corridor. Talk to the green enemy that turns into four pale crayons holding hands. Defeat them to win 200 PEACH, and they are gone forever. Enter the next classroom and talk to a girl who looks like an ordinary student, but it's another four crayons. As before, they drop 200 PEACH and won't reappear. Walk down the hall and there's a student just before you reach the stairs, who warns you that everyone is acting oddly. On the second floor you'll find a student inside the first room who warns you that there's a trap door in Yurika's room. The next room contains a suspicious student who turns into an artist with a pink tube of paint. 200 PEACH is the reward and they won't return. Check health at this point and either heal up with items or return to the first floor to pay a visit to the Infirmary There are two rooms with purple doors on the top corridor and you must go inside the first one as the other door is locked. Talk to Katou who turns out to be possessed by an enemy. He's a demon with a pale green face and two little horns. You won't get any reward from defeating him but the door to the back room opens up. Talk to the person in green called Tanakayama and fight a yellow faced person holding a key and with striped baggy trousers. Now that the man's sanity has been restored he gives you the [KEY] to the next room. Use the key and talk to Yurika inside the next room. She's a more impressive enemy with a sweeping cloak and two horns. Use fire magic on her and avoid the other elements. Defeat her to restore her normality and she'll tell you that Wapiko is locked inside the shed. She opens up the trap door and tells you to go down into the maze to find the Gold Gem. Jump down the hole and you end up inside the enclosure at the left of the building. Move left to drop down the hole in the ground and you're inside a small maze. MAZE Walk straight up the left passage and down, right, and up again, to reach the upper wall. Go all the way to the right screen where you can view the destination. Take the first turning down, and left. Go down again to reach the bottom wall and follow the passage all the way to the far right to reach the blue enemy. Fight this creamy fish with hearts for eyes and avoid using fire magic. Open the treasure chest to acquire the [GOLD GEM] and that triggers the wall opening up so you can reach the stairs. (Note that you cannot see this special item on the menu screen.) Return the way you came to reach the upper wall again and go right and down to reach the stairs. You'll be back in the school compound at the lower left corner and can return to the maze if you want. SHED Walk all the way right to reach the shed and fight the enemy. It appears as a purple aubergine with green sunglasses and cap. Defeat it to gain access to the shed. Walk left, around the boxes, to reach the person in the middle of the room. Fighting him is optional since you can simply walk past him to the next screen. He's a happy looking cow with a wand and a brown patch over one eye. You won't get anything, but walk up the room to where you'll find that white cloud you saw earlier. As soon as you enter the room Wapiko will speak and you'll acquire the [PEN] from the chest and be whisked back to Ms. Nekobe using one of Peeko's feathers. All without moving a finger. You hand over the Pen, Cow Horn and Wand and are given the [EARRINGS] accessory which you can keep. The Earrings allow you to speak to any animal and you don't have to bother to equip them. You'll have all health restored and that's the end of this chapter. =============================================================================== POCKET PARK ............................................................. *WK02 =============================================================================== STATUS 4 Hearts (120 HP) 4 Orbs (120 MP) TREASURE [WPN] Keyboard [KEY] Bus Pass [ITM] Phone Card ENEMIES None ............................................................................... It drops 200 PEACH and won't return once defeated. Climb the stairs to the second floor and you can avoid the old man enemy if you wish. It's a small lightbulb and immune to fire, but worth beating for the 500 PEACH drop. Go up the stairs to the third floor where an enemy blocks the next stairs. It's another pink circle. On the top floor you'll find a locked door and must defeat the white cloud enemy to open it. You'll receive the essential [PEN] from this enemy. Go through the door to open a blue treasure chest and obtain the [MEDICINE]. Walk back down all four floors and leave the mansion. Fight the large brown eared enemy to reveal a human like green robed man with a yellow and pink cap. You'll get 500 PEACH from him and he's resistant to fire attacks. Once again, fire attacks don't work and you'll win 500 PEACH. He will reappear if you return here later. The human is actually human, and will just tell you that people have been acting "funny". NORTH 2 Park Walk right, to find the Park location, but leave this for now until you've done some Gem shopping. There are three people wandering around this screen and the girl in pink says that Gems are useful, if expensive. The boy on the upper path is another green robed man with a yellow and pink cap, but this one only drops 200 PEACH. The other boy is an aubergine, pink with green sunglasses and yellow boots. You can use any attacks on this enemy and both enemies will be back again if you leave and return to this screen. NORTH 3 No Shops Exit this screen to the right and you'll arrive in the next section of town. The girl in a pink dress is an enemy with a yellow kimono and a small white hat with a red circle on it. It's another variation of the oriental enemy type and yet again, fire attacks won't work. It drops 500 PEACH and will reappear so you can fight it again. Check the ground to find the weapon: [MARBLES], which has 60 attack power. Use the Wand again to fly back over the telephone. The brown eared enemy next to the telephone is a green bag lady with the word HA! She complains about you picking on the poor and she might steal an item from you. You won't win anything from her, so it's best to just avoid fighting this enemy, but she will disappear after you defeat her. The cat is another yellow robed enemy with a turban that resistant to fire and drops 200 PEACH, and it also disappears once defeated. The green old man will tell you that there is another Gold Gem in this world. Enter the Gem shop and upgrade your jewels. Sell off the weaker ones so you don't risk using those in a battle. At least make sure you have an Onyx, Beryl and Agate. Also sell off all weaker weapons: although I kept the Toy Gun for the time being, you only need the Harmonica and Marbles. SOUTH 2 No Shops From the shopping area, walk left to find another empty section with just two people wandering around. The green one tells you about the weirdo in the Park and the blue boy is a peach enemy: a pretty pink robed oriental type with a pink peak to its head. Once again, don't use fire attacks and you will probably win a BAOZL food item. This enemy will respawn if you leave the screen and return. (Having this item in your inventory allows you to transform without loss of HP.) Shiva tells you that Lord Amon took MinMin to the Magic World and gives a hint to find Loki. Leave the Park and walk around to enter the Park from the south: there wasn't an opening before so really there's no choice about this. Beware, because once you enter the maze you cannot get out again. Walk over the bridge at the right of the screen and drop down the hole. You'll encounter the God of Happiness in the guise of an old man at the left of the simple maze. He gives you a [BUN]. Walk up right side of the screen to reach the upper side of the maze. Fight a white enemy with a black hat to discover an aubergine with a green hat and sunglasses and win 200 Peach. Open the treasure chest to obtain a [GOLD GEM] and you're whisked into somewhere else. The Magic Realm! MAGIC REALM You start off inside an enclosure surrounded by impassable blue trees. Use the Wand to transform into MinMin and fly over the trees. You can fly all the way to the north exit, or walk around the path to encounter a snake looking enemy. This appears as an orange pumpkin with a green dress and it's resistant to lightning. It will drop 200 Peach and won't appear again once defeated. Walk up to find a bear that says Loki knows healing magic. There's also a white enemy with a black hat and a house. Go inside the house to meet Loki who upgrades the Quartz gem to a [CRYSTAL] and heals you for free! He'll do that as many times as you wish. There's nothing behind the upper fence but you should fight the enemy. This enemy is four white mice looking things that will disappear one by one as you make successful attacks. It's nice to see your progress for once! You will win a GUMMIES item from them and you can fight them as many times as you like. Just visit Loki again to get healed and keep going until you have as many Gummies as you can carry. Return to the first screen and walk or fly around to the right side where there's an opening leading into another screen. Here you'll find a house and telephone. All other exits are dead ends so save your game and fight the blue monster outside the house. This is a floating white ghost with four droplets around it. Don't use ice attacks on it, and you won't win anything, but it's gone for good and you can enter the house. If health is low then fly back to Loki for free healing again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.3. On the second floor you'll find blue enemy that's the same white floating ghost type that blocked the house and this one also drops 200 PEACH. The second blue enemy on this floor is a squirrel which drops COOKIES. Go through the door in this small room to meet another enemy, and don't bother climbing the stairs as the door on the upper floor won't yet open. Talk to the white cloud in front of the door in the next room and you'll discover four flame looking things. Don't use fire! 200 PEACH is the reward. Go through the door and around to meet a purple bird enemy, which is another aubergine with green sunglasses. You should receive a BUN. Don't take the stairs down as the door on the lower floor is locked. CLimb the stairs to the third floor where you'll find a white round enemy with a black hat, but this one reveals a very different kind of monster! It turns out to be a totem type with three faces: two red ones with a green one in the middle. Happy or maybe it's Nappy is written on its upper face. Each part will disappear as you inflict damage, until there's just the bottom one remaining. You get the [KEY} but it won't open any of the locked doors already found. Carry on up the stairs to Floor 4. The next monster is a man disguised as a four flame creatures but you can avoid this one if you wish. It drops 500 Peach and you should avoid fire attacks. Continue up the stairs to Floor 5 and you can finally use that Key on the locked door. Talk to the person here, who's called Amon and is a pumpkin monster in disguise, with a wide evil grin and pink bow tie. One critical attack will destroy it and you discover Amon had been brainwashed. She gives you the [KEY] to the basement room where Waruji is found. Go back down the stairs to the second floor where there are stairs down at the lower side of the floor. Approach the door where you'll use the key. Enter the room and talk to Waruji. He's a rather splendid looking dude equipped with a kind of feathered whip and dressed in gold. He attacks with a special Waruji Wallop or Shining Spark, and Lightning gems won't work on him. Keep a close watch on your HP and MP and heal up if you get down to two hearts. You'll get the [PEN] after defeating him and can open the blue chest for the last [KEY]. Return up the stairs and go around and down that room with the two sets of stairs, to exit through the open door. Carry on down through two rooms and take the stairs up at the lower left corner. This takes you to a side room where MinMin is locked up. (It's quite cute if you're in the MinMin form as you'll see pink twins when you meet MinMin.) Talk to her and you'll be given her phone number and then teleported back to Ms. Asagiri. You return her Pen and hand over the Wand and Harmonica. It's another round cream-coloured enemy with three balls floating over its head/body and like the last one, it's vulnerable to fire magic. You get a [KEY] from it. Use the Key on the door in the upper wall and you'll enter a maze-like room filled with gym equipment. Don't bother exploring the left passage as it leads to a dead end. Walk through the first gap to the right and go up to where you see two orange coloured horse boxes. Push the first one to the right thanks to the Bangle. (You don't have to equip it, just have it in your inventory.) Then push the second one all the way to the left. This allows you to access both white enemies with black hats. If you make a mistake just leave the room to re-set this simple puzzle. You don't have to fight the left enemy, but if you do it is another white ghost type with a purple skull hat. You will get a SILK PIE from it. If you want to fight this one again for another silk pie, just walk up to the next screen and return and it will be back, but moved down by one step. Check health and fight the second enemy. This is a cream head with two rackets and tennis balls weapons. Defeat it to obtain the essential [PEN] and don't use fire magic. Walk up the passage that enemy had blocked and open the door to the back room with the Key you obtained from the first enemy in the gym. You'll return the Racket to Moe and get her phone number. Then you are back with Ms Ayumi who takes her pen, retrieves her Whistle and restores your HP and MP. . =============================================================================== KURUMI AND THE 7 DWARFS ................................................. *WK05 =============================================================================== STATUS 7 Hearts (210 HP) 7 Orbs (210 MP) TREASURE [WPN] Ocarina ENEMIES Description Drop Immune Green Pixie 500 Peach - ALLY Kyle ............................................................................... Ms. Takase gives you an [OCARINA] and tells you to meet up with Kyle. She transports you to the woods. It looks exactly the same as the area in the Magic Realm except it's not blue. There's a Telephone to save your game at the right of the first screen, and a wooden hut. Enter it to find your companion, Kyle, who says that all his friends are missing. Yep, you have to find all Seven Dwarfs as well as the missing Kurumi. All three lower exits are dead ends so walk up to the next screen. Follow the short path through the trees to the upper right of the area. You'll encounter a rabbit that's the disguise for a green capped pixie enemy that yields 500 PEACH. It has no immunities and will return if you leave this screen. Talk to the pink dwarf behind the defeated enemy and you'll find someone called TRAIN who disappears after you tell him you'll take care of things. The opening to the right is a dead end, so return down the path and up the left path to the upper screen. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5.1. Turn left and slide to the ice block and then, turn down and slide down to the small section of wooden fence near the bottom left corner of the ice. Turn right and slide to the iceberg and then turn down to slide one pace to the bottom fence. Go left now, to end up in the lower left corner of the fence. Turn up and slide to the treasure chest. Open it to find the [AMULET], as very useful accessory that will halve MP consumption. From the treasure chest, slide left to stop at the small section of fence. Turn up and slide up to another section of fence. Turn to the right and you'll slide directly to the pink dwarf. This is HYUPUSH and he disappears after talking to you. All that's left is to turn up and slide to the fence next to the purple enemy. This is a three part totem type enemy with a green bottom section, orange middle and and cream top section. It's immune to lighting magic and you'll get a DONUT for beating it. Head up to the next screen which is another forested area. Walk up the right path to meet a pink person that reveals itself to be three carrots. It will drop 500 PEACH and it's weak to fire magic and disappears after being defeated. The old man enemy turns out to be a kind of onion with a knife and spoon sticking out of its head. Ice attacks don't work on it and you'll win a PIE. Both enemies will reappear if you enter a building and exit again. Heal up at the hospital for 350 Peach, which is cheaper than using a food item if health is low. The cat outside the Fortune Teller will just warn you about monsters. Walk left in front of the lower left building and you'll trip and fall. Press A to find the [MAGNIFIER] weapon. It will drop 200 PEACH, but you won't find anything in this area and there's no way forwards. Return to the bridge, and go left, and up the first path to fight the pale green enemy. This is another onion with a knife and spoon sticking out of its head, that drops 500 PEACH. Follow the path up to the next screen and back down. You'll end up walking around the middle pond and then, up the path to the next screen. Approach the brown enemy at the far side of the bridge to discover an evil looking cow with a green wand. It's immune to lightning magic, but other than that is just as straightforward as the rest of the enemies. Kill the cow to get the [PEN]. Move forwards a step and Kyle will appear and you find Kurumi. She gives you her phone number and uses her book to return you to Ms. Takase. You'll hand over her Pen and she takes her Ocarina. The real Luna turns up and joins the party and tells you that not only have the Gold Gems been stolen but the Sailor Soldiers have disappeared. (Who ARE these people?) Anyway, you're told to meet Artemis at the Crown Game Centre and Luna joins the party. Check the menu to see the cute blue cat face and you can use the Wand to transform into Usagi for this chapter. Stock up on some food at the bakery (I think the Silk Pie is the best value of all the foods on sale) and heal up if you need to. Enter the Crown Games Centre and inside you'll find Motoki. Talk to him to prompt a battle with a smiling pumpkin head that has a green body. It's immune to lightning magic and you won't win anything. She will join in the battle with her two special attacks if you hit her icon of a blue heart. You're told to look for Rei in the park. The other enemies are optional but you'll win some additional Peach from them. Talk to the green man to initiate a battle with a three tiered enemy using any attack, and get 500 PEACH. Once defeated he's gone forever. There's another enemy inside the room behind the door which consists of four fireballs, so only use Ice on them. You'll get 500 PEACH and this one will reappear. Walk south and talk to the old man to initiate a battle with a white cow with horns and a wand to get 500 PEACH. It won't reappear and isn't weak or immune to anything. Leave the park at the south and you're back in the town and the building at the top right will now be accessible. Go through the door to the next room where there's an enemy that must be defeated before the door to the back room will open. This is Naru, a female in a long whitish cloak with blonde hair and two horns on her head. Don't use fire attacks against her. When defeated the Naru says she'd been brainwashed and to apologise she exchanges your crystal for a [DIAMOND]. Enter the back room and open the chest for [1000 PEACH]. Talk to Makoto who gives you a [BUS PASS] and says that the next person went to Tokyo Tower. MAKOTO joins the party. She has a blue 4 type icon and will join in the battle with her special attacks if you hit that icon. Talk to Naru again after adding Makoto to the team and she will heal you for free. She'll do that again if you return here so you can save spending money at the Hospital from now on. The other enemies in here have gone so it's simple enough to walk back up the stairs to get healed again. Leave this location and walk along the path to the right to the SOUTH 3 section of town. Ice Storm and Kaseet Krush are his special attacks and you should avoid using ice magic on him. I'm pretty sure he has more HP than the ordinary enemies so it might take a bit longer to defeat him. Keep a close eye on your MP and use items to heal up if you need to. You get 1000 PEACH for defeating him Head up to the back room and talk to the person who's the shopkeeper.
