Please don't laugh too much. Some constructive criticism would be nice. By the way, "UR FAQ SUX" isn't constructive. So far, all I have are some monsters, some items, and the bosses. ____________ ********************************** A) Copyright ********************************** This document is owned by Matt Horn and is protected by US copyright. If you're really nice, you'll make the subject something like MONSTER IN MY POCKET. ________________ 2) Information ________________ **************** A) Moves **************** A nice list of moves. A: Jumps A (wait until at top of jump), A: Double Jump You'll want to practice this. B: Punch Down + A: Jump off the surface you're on. Down + B: Pick keys/screws **************** B) Items **************** Here's a list of items. If I stupidly forgot some, please e-mail me. Heart Container: This item increases your health bars by one. If you are playing with someone Else, you may want to let them have it if they have less health than you. If You take a heart container which THEY needed, but you DIDN'T, they are Likely to steal your lives after they're dead. Keys/Screws: Pick these up by holding down and pressing Bb. Throw them by pressing A. It will kill most enemies. Handy for bosses. **************** C) Monsters **************** I'm sure I'm going to miss some monsters, and I'm positive I'm going to get The names wrong. Oh, well. Feel free to correct me. Zombies: The first bad guy you meet. Wow, they're fast for zombies. Just press B to Do your punch attack. That's enough to kill them. Short Skeleton Guys: The second bad guy you meet. They are short, and are skeletons! WOW! Anyway, duck and punch them. They roll fireballs at you, which you can Block with your punch. Witches: Witches appear out of nowhere, shoot purple rays at you (which are very slow) And disappear. If you want to take them out, jump and punch. Dragons: These first appear in the fit stage, Monster Mountain. They are slow, but they Breathe fire. Get close, then duck and punch it three times. Flying Dragons: These fly in the air and shoot electricity at you. They are rather annoying, And are probably the hardest creatures in the game, besides the bosses. Try to stay behind them, jump, and punch them. **************** D) Bosses **************** After every level is a boss. Here is a summary of them: 1st Stage: Knife Thrower This guy isn't tough, unless you panic. Step in between the set of knives he Throws in the air, and hit him in between his attacks. Difficulty(1-5):1 2nd Stage: Ice Man He isn't hard if you know his pattern. He walks most of the time. Just Hit him twice, double jump over him, and jump over the ice projectile that He shoots at you, and then him. Remember that when you hit him, he Starts running, and then shoots an ice attack, then walks again. Difficulty:2 3rd Stage: Octopus He's a skeleton octopus! Well, what did you expect in the sewer? There are two puffs of smoke. That's the edge of where his tentacles will Pop up. If you are on the right side, stay to the right of the rightmost Puff of smoke. Vice-Versa for the left. It's better to stick to the left side, But not necessary. Wait for the tentacle to lower, Then jump over the end of it, and hit the body several times, then jump Back. Wait for him to lower his tentacle again, then strike him three more Times. If you're on the left side of him, you can punch him more than Three times, but if you're on the right, you have to get out of the way, Because the tip of his tentacle comes halfway up once more. Repeat Until he is defeated. Difficulty:2 4th Stage: Crane Dude This monster rides a crane! There's not much I can help you with, since He appears at random. He appears from the left, right, or from above, Stops in the middle, throws some stuff, and then goes off another direction. He's probably the hardest, except for the final, final boss. (Not a typo) 5th Stage: Medusa The next to last boss, Medusa! I think she's Warlock's mother, but I'm not sure. Anyway, there appears to be 5 Medusas, but it's only One. Jump and hit one at random, and if all the medusas flash (no, Not that kind of flash), it's the right one. If not, try again. You Won't have time to hit more than twice, because then the real one Shoots a projectile at you, kind of like the ice man's one. It'll freeze You in place until she hits you. Difficulty:3 Stage 6: ALL OF THE BOSSES, AND WARLOCK You have to fight every boss in the game again, plus Warlock. Warlock is fairly easy and fun. He floats in the air. You have time to hit him once, then double jump away. He'll shoot lightning, And if you followed my instructions, he'll miss you. He's not really That hard. Difficulty:3 Stage ?: WHAT!? Warlock's back! I guess it was too easy. It should have Been clear, I mean, it's Konomi. They have this thing, along with Square and several other Nintendo game makers to say "Game Over" and freeze the game. Anyway, Warlock is harder than all The other bosses, but not too hard. He's also on TV again. Either He's a movie star, or he's violating some sort of law about intercepting Signals. Anyway, go to the far right (left is fine) and wait for his eyes to shoot. Double jump over the beams, and they will become monsters. Avoid them and punch Warlock. Repeat this. Difficulty:5 Thanks to: God, for the ability to think. (And type) Nintendo, for making the console and publishing the game. Konomi, for making the game. Nintendo of America, for translating the game. CJayC, for putting this on GameFAQs My school, for having summer vacation and giving me more time Than I could ever use. IBM, for making my computer, monitor, and keyboard. Microsoft, for making my mouse. Sir Isaac Newton, for discovering gravity. Pepsi, for giving me strength in my time of weariness.
