Date: Wed, 5 Aug 1998 08:31:21 -0600 Kart Fighter for NES "The best unlicensed game of all time!" -Anonymous FAQ Version 0.1 By Death Gryphon May not be used on sites other that www.gamefaqs.com This ROM is available at www.geocities.com/Area51/Chamber/5621/Kart.zip I am still missing a large portion of the moves. If anyone has any moves, email me at deathgryphon@geocities.com Basic Moves Punch- Tap A for a punch attack. These are rather weak but good for holding off your opponents. Kick- Tap B for a kick attack. These are stronger and more useful for hitting a jumping opponent. Jump- Tap Up on the control Pad. Use this to prepare for a Jump Kick or Jump Punch. Throw- Hold toward your opponent and tap Punch to throw them. Duck- Hold Down on the Control pad. Use this to avoid jump attacks. Block- Hold Away from your opponent to block their attacks. Jump Punch- Jump in and punch your opponent. Jump Kick- Jump in and kick your opponent. Characters Mario- His last name is Mario too! Luigi- He's basically a Palette Swap of Mario, with similar moves. Kinopio- Toad is the second shortest character, and is a good fighter. Peach- Cool, she's a rip off of Chun Li! Yoshi- Now Yoshi can kick Mario's ass! Donkey Kong- He's hideously deformed and his attack range sucks! NokoNoko- He's a cool fighter with cool moves. Bowser- He's even shorter than Toad! He's also the main boss of the game. Special Moves Mario Fireball- Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Punch. Uppercut- Down, Forward, Down-Forward and Punch. Luigi Fireball- Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Punch. Kinopio Mushroom Shot- Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Punch. Peach Purple Blob- Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Punch. Spin Attack- Down, Down-Back, Back and Kick. Hair Swipe- Forward, Back and Kick. Yoshi Green Wave- Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Punch. Tounge Lash- Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Kick. Donkey Kong Peel Slide- Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Punch. Uppercut- Down, Down-Back, Back and Kick. Note: The Uppercut is useless unless your opponent is jumping towards you. NokoNoko Charge- Down, Down-Back, Back and Punch Shell Shock- Back, Forward and Kick Bowser Fire Spit- Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Punch Charge- Back, Back-Down, Down, Down-Forward, Forward and Kick. Notes The interesting thing about this game is that there is no end to it. When you defeat Bowser, you fight a clone of your character. Then Bowser, a clone, Bowser, etc. so there is no way to finish the game or get a high score (although I could be mistaken. Mail me if i'm wrong). To play in two player mode, have Player Two press Right on the Control Pad on Controller Two and he will be able to select a fighter as well.
