Legal Info =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= :::Introduction::: This is an FAQ for Hello Kitty World, a Sanrio game for the NES, or really the Famicom as it was only released in Japan. The game is actually surprisingly good. Its difficulty is fairly balanced and it plays very similarly to Balloon Fight, a personal favorite game of mine. In fact, this should have been called "Balloon Fight 2: When Kitty's Attack" as the amount of gameplay, graphics, sound, and music used in this game copied directly from Balloon Fight is astounding. I'll be sure to make note of when and where during the stage FAQs because the resemblances are incredible. Anyways, you really should play this game given you have it. It's quite fun. ^_^ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 1. Updates 05-27-02: Upon viewing my FAQ on the site... I noticed quite a glaring error in it. I used a previous FAQ of mine as a template, and I accidentally left part of the index for THAT game intact. So I fixed that along with a few spelling/grammarical errors. 05-25-02: I've began work on this game's FAQ. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 2. Story Hello Kitty and Tippy Bear are playing outside Hello Kitty's house, when all of a sudden, an angry gang of red balloons descends from the Heavens. Hello Kitty is shocked and shouts "Une balloon rouge! Zut zut!" viciously at the mob of balloons, but they just laugh and proceed to the north towards Hatworld, a dangerous place where dangerous people reside. But who would want to kidnap Tippy? And even more mysterious, who would do it with a gang of red balloons? Hello Kitty then decides to set off upon a quest to not only rescue Tippy, but to also found out who is culprit behind this dispicable criminal act. Armed only with her deceptively powerful feet, an airpump, and an infinite supply of red balloons, she sets off... Sure it's not the real story, but it makes it a hell of a lot more entertaining, no? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3. Controls Mr. Mole will teach you the controls if you let the game set at the start screen for a minute, but here're the controls anyways. Left/Right - Move Hello Kitty around Down - Pump balloons (up to 2) A Button - Balloon'd: Tap/Hold to fly | Grounded: Tap to jump B Button - Release your balloons Start - Pause the game Up/Select - NOTHING! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 4. Characters :Hello Kitty: This is the uber-cute heroine of the game. She is apparently on a quest to find her companion Mr. Bear who is mysteriously kidnapped by a mob of balloons. :Hello Kitty 2: This is the other Hello Kitty that is controlled by Player 2. I'm SURE she has a different name, but I don't know it, nor care to find out, so n'yah. She's Hello Kitty 2 as far as I am concerned. :p :Tippy Bear: This is the guy Hello Kitty is looking for. He's kidnapped by a mob of balloons. This leads me to believe he's not the toughest guy in the world, but then again, I probably should've been thinking that to begin with since he is a teddy bear with a green suit and red bowtie. :Mr. Mole: He doesn't do much of anything. He just teaches you how to manipulate Hello Kitty if you sit at the start screen for awhile. :Mr. Mouse: Even more useless than Mr. Mole, Mr. Mouse just asks you if it'll be a one or two player game at the beginning of the game. He doesn't show up again until the very end of the game! Why didn't they just use Mr. Mole again for this task? >_< =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 5. Levels The levels in Hello Kitty World are pretty straight-forward. Proceed to the left, and keep going until you get to the end. Sometimes there'll be bonus rooms to stop by in, sometimes there'll be bosses awaiting you (every 2 levels, by the way). Sometimes there'll be items appearing. I'll go ahead and cover these right now. (P) - This is a Power Sphere. Grab it to speed up Hello Kitty and make her completely invulnerable for about 15 seconds. Hearts - These are basically 1-Ups. Strawberry Door - Strawberry Doors lead to bonus rooms that eeriely similar to Balloon Fight's bonus rounds, except not quite as easy. I like to refer to these as "Portals to the Strawberry Diminsion". Balloons - Just grab these. 100 get you a life, and occasionally you get a Dual Balloon Boost at 20, in which the sprite would turn red AND white, and you'd be awarded two balloons instead of one. One more thing about enemies... some enemies Hello Kitty can safely fly into, others she cannot. I'll note which enemies cannot be hit safely with an asterisk (*). Please take note that ALL enemies and objects can pop Hello Kitty's balloons, but not all can kill her. Also, there is an innate enemy in all stage that have water: the Fish. This is another thing from Balloon Fight! You get too low to the water, the Fish will EAT YOU! So... don't send Hello Kitty coreening into the water, ne? Now, on to the stage FAQs! _____________________________ [][] Level 1: Flowerland [][] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Balloon Fight note: The stage music! It sounds like the Mode C/Bonus Round tune except... it's not... Enemies: Pink birds, Mini-Crows, Firepits*, Flamerunners* This is the beginning level, naturally. It's a merry little area with pencil buildings in the background and nice vibrant looking weather. It's fairly simple to navigate and there're no real trouble spots. so if you just avoid the enemies, you'll have no problems. You'll find the Strawberry Door fairly easy to go into, and towards the end there'll be three large buildings with a Heart underneath two of them. To get to the Heart, you have to drop your balloons, but don't worry. You can get the Heart and you'll have PLENTY of time to repump your balloons. After that, just go to the end of the stage which is an arrow door leading into the forest. __________________________________ [][] Level 2: Mushroom Forest [][] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Balloon Fight note: None particular to the stage. Enemies: Treecrabs, Buzzies, Caterpillars, Flamehoppers*, Mosquitoes, Croiky Crocs*, Spikespawns* This is another fairly simple stage, but some new things are introduced here. It's a bit more mean looking than Flowerland, but that's not saying a whole lot. It's still rather colorful and friendly. Anyways, near the beginning you'll encounter a Treecrab. Get used to this kind of enemy, as they are frequently found and can make some pretty hard situations. As you go along further, you'll encounter some other enemies, none too difficult to deal with until you get to the Flamehopper. Around that time you'll also notice a Buzzy circling a hive. Pay no special attention to it, as it's just giving the Buzzy an excuse to move in a circle. As you go along further, you'll notice a Heart between two platforms, and a Croiky Croc roaming about on the top one. In order to get the Heart, you'll need to release the balloons and jump in between the platforms. Once you get it, get out and start pumping fast as another Croiky Croc is going to appear on the left. Keep going until you get to a large wood structure. This is where you'll encounter a couple of Spikespawns. Float under those quickly as they'll attempt to fall on Hello Kitty and kill her with their poison spikes. Once they're dodged, look out as they'll burst into little spike seeds which WILL bust balloons. After this, you can ditch your balloons and head to the bonus room if you like. If not, just go over the opening and continue. After the Flamehopper goes by, the music will change... that can only mean one thing... -------------------------- Boss 1: Wily Wolf -------------------------- YES! That is right, it's boss time! And the first boss is a purple canine I call Wily Wolf. He's not very difficult, though. First of all, ditch the balloons. You can't do anything to Wily while Hello Kitty's balloonified. Now I know he comes off as intimidating with his rapid 2 frame, moonwalker-isqe punches, but he's really simple to defeat. Just jump on his head 3 times. He won't object to it other than by giving Hello Kitty a little bounce backwards. Simply make sure she doesn't bounce into a pool of water and the fight will be over shortly. And one more thing... don't be scared of touching this or any other boss. They won't kill you if you run into them, for some odd reason. Oh well... with that said, proceed to the exit to go to the next stage. __________________________________ [][] Level 3: Airplane Islands [][] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Balloon Fight note: Aha! A penguin ballooner! And notice the sound effect that plays when he appears? Yeah, same as Balloon Fight's enemies whenever they'd be moving around. Freaky. Enemies: Crabs*, Penguin Paladins, Pink Birds, Mini-Crows, Yellow Seagulls, Firepits* This level is different from the last two. It's the first to have a noticable quirk about it: the scrolling speed. It's twice as fast as the previous stages' scroll speed, so be careful. Visually... it's a pretty pleasant stage. Has a slight tropical feel to it, and you can see some nice KITTY blimps and whales in the background. Pretty nice... anyways, a couple seconds after beginning the stage, note the Penguin Paladin. It's a new type of enemy you'll encounter many times again. Other than that, keep going to the left, naturally. After awhile, you'll notice a cascading ceiling of spikes, and a Firepit on the other side of it. Be weary of that deathtrap. Beyond that you'll see a pink platform. Note the arrows pointing DOWN on the blocks of it. That means when you touch it, it's going to fall down. There's no reason to even LAND on it, but just be weary of it and other blocks like it. A little further you'll notice another Heart sandwiched betwixt a platform and the ceiling. Land and ditch the balloons to obtain it. When you fall out the other side, get to pumping quickly as the screen is moving fast and that island is small. Beyond that there's another Down Platform, some Pink Birds, and a Penguin Paladin, but that's it. Now the end is different for once... instead of a door, it's a whale. Odd, I know, but enter the whale's mouth to exit the stage. ____________________________ [][] Level 4: The Whale [][] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Balloon Fight note: None particular to this stage. Enemies: Jumping Shrimp, Octopuses, Firepits*, Zombie Fish This is where the difficulty begins to shift to hard. In this stage, the entire ceiling is a pretty much a hazard for Hello Kitty. Unless it is rounded, the ceiling will pop her balloons. That's the only major stage hazard other than the usual water. Visually the stage is... well... it's a whale's stomach, right? Well... why are there stalactites, blocks, and various marine life living in there? And the Firepits... wouldn't they generate smoke like in Startropics, causing the whale to cough or something? Kinda "fishy" if you ask me (Hyuk hyuk). Ahhh... anyways, once you get going to the left, you'll notice some Jumping Shrimp. Avoid them and you'll encounter these octopuses. They are trouble if you hit them but it's not because they kill you... which they don't. It's because they send you flying if you touch them. I mean... it's as if all of them are made of rubber or something. That basically means the bounce could send you coreening into the ceiling, which would of course pop a balloon. So don't hit them! A little ways past them you'll encounter a pair of Firepits, and after those some loose stalactites. You can avoid those in the same manner that you avoided the Spikespawns in Level 2: Run/Float quickly underneath them. We don't want to get Hello Kitty impaled now do we? No. So keep going left after that and you'll find a Heart AND a Strawberry Door. This is one of the few instances that the elevation platforms come in handy. First, ditch the balloons to go underneath the first platform and get to the down platform. From there, move the left to get over the bottom platform and the Heart. Keep moving to the left to get to the Up Platform. It'll take up to the Strawberry Door, and you can go in it to get to the bonus area, of course. But you don't have to do all that. You can simply keep going if you wish. ^_^ You'll eventually encounter some torches. Keep in mind that the torch-part is not actually a tangible object to Hello Kitty. Only the flame part of it is touchable... but DON'T touch it as it will kill you. Be wary of the Zombie Fish floating about and the Jumping Shrimp as you pass through the mini-gauntlet of torches. Past that, there is ANOTHER Strawberry Door. I guess there's a second one to make up for Level 3's lack of one. *shrugs* Anyways, it's easy to get to, so you can go in it if you want or not. It doesn't matter. Soon you'll find yourself going through yet another gauntlet of octopuses, Jumping Shrimp, Zombie Fish, and torches. Avoid all of it, and a few seconds after you're through the music will once again change. Why, what could that ever mean...? -------------------------- Boss 2: Funkmeister Fish -------------------------- Boss time once more! Funkmeister Fish is in full effect... or something. This boss is harder than the first, but that's not saying much. The main tactic again is to simply bop the boss on the head, but this time around you have a better chance of drowning. Just ditch the balloons and wait for him to appear close to your platform, or towards the middle of the area. It's better to wait until he's close, but if you're feeling risky, go ahead and try to hit him in the middle of the screen. The vast jumping power of Hello Kitty will not fail you! Just hit him 3 times to kill him, and then proceed to the exit. _________________________________ [][] Level 5: Umbrella Moors [][] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Balloon Fight note: What's that I see? Oh yes... a lightning cloud! Exactly like Balloon Fight's lightning cloud... how shameless. There're also spark fields ala Mode C in Balloon Fight! Enemies: Dark Penguins, Mini-Crows, Crabs*, Pink Birds I like how the whale has mysteriously grown much larger... anyways, this stage is kind of tough. It introduces some pretty nasty elements. First there're the Rain Clouds which will steadily push Hello Kitty down towards the water. Then there're the lightning clouds which will generate little sparks that will kill Hello Kitty upon contact. It also reintroduces the speedy scroll from level 3, which is quite annoying when combined with the other elements and enemies. Visually speaking the level is still evil looking. It's dark, green, and generally unpleasant to see. Maybe that's why speed scroll is on the level... to get through the crap quickly. Ah well... as you begin, you'll encounter your first of many rain clouds. Just float through quicky and you'll be alright, and the same goes for all the rain clouds found later on, except for the double wide ones. For those, its best that you get near the top of the cloud, then rapidly float through them. You'll still go down, but you won't die that way. After a few rain clouds, you'll find the first lightning cloud. These clouds only shoot sparks to the right, so be wary of that. After a few of those, you'll notice a wide rain cloud with a 500 token near the bottom. I'm not sure what that does... I can't reach it without dying. =/ Beyond that you'll encounter a field of spark lines. Touch one spark and you die, so be extremely careful there. A little beyond that first field of sparks you'll encounter yet ANOTHER field of sparks, and this one has moving sparks. It's very dangerous. Once you're through it, you just have a couple of Dark Penguins and rain clouds to get through before hitting the exit. __________________________________ [][] Level 6: Snowman Glacier [][] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Balloon Fight note: None particular to the stage. Enemies: Projectile Penguins, Flamerunners*, Firepit*, Walruses*, This level is flatout hard. Not only is it icy and hard to move when on the ground, but 3/4 of the level takes place ON THE GROUND. Very little ballooning is necessary in the stage. The stage itself is kind of fun to look at, but just because it's a cartoony take on the arctic. But I digress, as you begin the stage you'll notice a small platoon of Projectile Penguins. Simply go under them to avoid them. Past them, land and ditch the balloons. Go into the little room and wait. You're going to have to jump over a Flamerunner. Once you've done that, quickly move into the next room. You have to jump over TWO Flamerunners in this one. Proceed into the third room and wait. You'll notice a platform area outside, but wait until the other side of the next room appears. Once it does, run onto the platform outside and jump across to the other side quickly. There're stalactites and two Firepits on torches in there, so be careful about those. In the next room you'll see the platform blocks space out. Don't worry about that, though. You can still just run over them, but once you do, be on guard as a walrus is going to come charging at you. Be prepared to jump over it as touching it will kill you. In the next room, once again you find spaced out platform blocks, but this time there's a 500 sphere and a Strawberry Door. NOW I've discovered the purpose of the 500 sphere! Let the 2nd block sink with you on it to hit the sphere, and not only do you get 500 points, but it'll send you flying into the air! This is convenient as it can launch you up near the Strawberry Door. Of course, given you don't want any of that you can just keep going on ahead. Now you're done with the rooms. Pump yourself up two balloons and proceed floating to the left. Beware of the falling spiked snowflakes ahead. Beyond them you'll find a Walrus on patrol and a Heart underneath his platform. It'd seem as if you can't get to the Heart, but just hop onto a Iceberg that is floating by from the right and ditch your balloons to gain access to them. You can ride out the Iceberg until you reach the otherside of the screen, then you have to get to pumping. After that, you'll find a few Projectile Penguins and a Walrus or two. Just keep avoiding them. Once you reach a stack of four platforms with two Projectile Penguins, you'll see another easy-to-access Strawberry Door. You can go in it if you want, or keep going. After that Strawberry Door the background turns quite a bit darker and the music changes after a few seconds. You know what that means... -------------------------- Boss 3: Sociopath Snowman -------------------------- Boss fight again! This time you're opponent is Sociopath Snowman. This boss is actually a tad hard as he has the novel idea of ATTACKING you. He'll pace back and forth across the stage for a second or two, and then he'll take off his golden bucket helm and hurl it at you. It sounds fairly simple to avoid, and it is really, but if you're in the wrong place is can become difficult to do so. On top of avoiding it, you have to strike him on the noggin while his gold helm is off his head, making it even more tough on you. But there's a simple way to defeat him. Ditch your balloons, naturally, and wait on the elevated ledge for him to throw his bucket towards you. The bucket will have an upward angle to it, so you can drop down from your perch and run towards him without needing to dodge. Then you can jump on his head, and his bucket will mysteriously disappear from flight. While he's still reeling from your blow, run back to the ledge and wait for him to recover and attack again. Repeat this 2 more times to defeat Sociopath Snowman. Then proceed to the exit to get to the second to last stage! _____________________________ [][] Level 7: Rat Cavern [][] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Balloon Fight note: None particular to the stage. Enemies: Spiders, Firepits*, Mini-Crows, Octopuses, Flamehoppers* This is the second to last stage, and it is pretty hard. It introduces a new level hazard... most of the floor is made of stalagmites, which means if Hello Kitty fall onto them, she will die. Flat areas that are okay to land on come few and far between. Aesthetically, the area looks like a cave should... it has a purple tint to all the rocky areas, and stalactites/stalagmites are found everywhere. Now, as you begin the stage you'll notice a Firepit, but there're also two loose stalactites beyond it, so when you jump over the Firepit be quick about proceeding to the left. Next you'll encounter a spider. Normally this type of enemy could be easily avoided, but this time around the area is shrunken down. Wait for him to go back up and fall down again before you continue. After that, you'll see a Firepit and a Flamehopper jumping into the water. Land on the small flat hill before the Firepit and pump a balloon if necessary, then continue on past the Firepit and the spider. Past a few Mini-Crows and Octopuses you'll notice a large hill. This place can be very tricky to go down because there are THREE loose stalactites waiting to fall on you, the ground and ceiling are hazards, and there's an octopus waiting on you at the bottom. Once you navigate that mess, you still have to get over the octopus, and then you have to deal with a Firepit and THREE Flamehoppers. Wait for one Flamehopper to kill itself by jumping into the water, then try to go above the second one. Or if you have two balloons still and you mind sacrificing a balloon, purposely hit the ceiling and you'll turn invulnerable for a moment. Then fly through the Flamehoppers quickly. Beyond those three, you'll notice yet another Firepit, two octopuses, and two spiders. Navigate through them to land on a stretch of flat land, but be wary of the torch and Firepit. Pump balloons if necessary and proceed to the left carefully. The area is small, has hazards on the ground and ceiling, and a Mini-Crow is circling. Furthermore, on the other side two cylinders are going to drop from the ceiling as SOON as you get through. Fly through fast to dodge them, but don't fly too far because the two cylinders will unveil a Strawberry Door. Go in it if you want to. Either way, continue to the left. You'll have to navigate past an octopus and a couple of Mini-Crows next. Once again, going down the incline area can be tricky as there are hazards on both floor and ceiling, and there're TWO stalactites that aim to impale Hello Kitty. Get past them and you've completed the stage. ______________________________ [][] Level 8: Hat Factory [][] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Balloon Fight note: Return of that Mode C music and spark fields! Also when you go through the door at the end, there's the little respawning music from Balloon Fight. Why they put it THERE, I don't know. But it's there. Enemies: Pistons, Gears, Flame Columns*, Firepit*, Volcano Boxes*, Flamehoppers* Claws* This is it! The final stage! Your journey has led you this unholy, worn down Hat Factory. You're very close to finding out where Tippy is and who commanded his capture! As far as looks go, I think the hat factory looks like it was made of lego blocks or something. But if you can see past those, it does kind of resemble a factory-type environment. Now the stage itself is VERY difficult. You're being introduced to tons of new elements, and thankfully you'll not have to meet them again since this is the last stage. As you begin, you'll notice two flame columns. These are new, but worry not about them. Just wait for them to die back down to nothing before trying to pass them. Beyond that, you'll see a couple of gears on the ceiling, three conveyer belt platforms, and a Flame Column on the end of said platforms. Needless to say, don't ditch/pop your balloons else you'll die by being conveyed into the Flame Column. Now... once you're past the Flame Column and landed you should ditch your balloons. Proceed to the left between the pipes and platform. Be ready to run to the right against the conveyer belt though, and once you land there you have to jump over a sea of fire. Take the up platform to the conveyer belt above, but pump yourself up two balloons on the way. Once you're there, continue to the left but be aware of the moving gears that want to pop Hello Kitty's balloons. There're also hazards on the ceiling and floor, so be wary of that as well. Once you navigate past the gears and you can see the small doorway, land on the conveyer belt and ditch the balloons. From there you have to jump into the doorway. Once you're in, be ready for a piston wanting to pound you. Naturally, go under the piston while it's going back up. Beyond it, you'll notice two more pistons dangerously close to each other. Wait for the first one to pound down and start going back up before jumping up there. Then wait in between them for the time which you can pass under the second piston safely. Then after you're past it, you have to jump onto a small moving platform that's above a small sea of fire. From that platform you'll have to jump onto a conveyer belt with a piston on it. To make matters worse, that conveyer belt will try to convey you into a Firepit! After passing under a small doorway, you'll have another conveyer belt, but it's trying to convey you into TWO Firepits! Simply jump over the Firepits to the flat area and pump up two new balloons. Now as you proceed to the left, beware of the Volcano Boxes that will explode and shower rocks around Hello Kitty. They won't kill her directly, just pop her balloons. But don't touch the top of the boxes, as that WILL kill you I'm certain. As you try to navigate underneath the boxes, be prepared to dodge a Flamehopper going across the sea of flames. Past those enemies you'll see some spiked-bottom platforms going up and down and some Claws in the sea of flames. This is a VERY bad area. Take extreme care when floating under the platforms as they will try to come back down on you, and the Claws will be waiting for you as well. After that, you find a stretch of flat land. Pump some balloons if needed and continue left to encounter a Flamehopper in the sea of flames. On the ceiling is a new hazard, though: Lightbulbs. Don't bump into them or they'll spawn a spark that will bounce about on screen, giving it a good chance of killing Hello Kitty. Now the next area can be hard to navigate as well. All the spark fields are moving and made of three powerlines. First, go over the first two spark fields, then go over the third once its sparks are going towards bottom. Go into the fourth's powerlines when it is going to the left, and then up to the fifth set of powerlines. The sparks on this line will only go halfway across. Once you land on the conveyer belt, ditch the balloon. If you want to get the Heart, wait for the spark to go above you and then jump across and quickly fall down onto the Up Platform. If not, just fall down to the Up Platform and continue to the left. You see some spiked- bottom platforms and a Flame Column. You'll have to jump on top of the platforms, but be wary of the Flame Column and the bottoms of the platforms. Once you're across, go through the doorway and note the music changing. You know what that means... it's time to find out who the master of Tippy's kidnapping is, and have the final showdown for ultimate justice! ------------------------- Final Boss: Rampage Robot ------------------------- WHA?! The mastermind is Rampage Robot, lord of the Hat Factory! And he doesn't seem too keen on releasing Tippy peacefully. He is the toughest of all the bosses. He'll start off by shooting 4 sparks at 4 angles: straight, 45, 80, and 90 degrees. All easy avoided at first, but they will bounce around until you jump on Rampage Robot's head, so be sure to do that soon after he shoots. You have to hit him a record FIVE times on the head to defeat him, and every time you strike him, he'll recoil by shooting his sparks faster. One tactics I find useful when fighting him is to constantly run against him as he walks towards Hello Kitty. Eventually Hello Kitty will break through, and you'll be able to jump his head easier from the other side since the sparks will be on the other. But that just seems easier to me. Either way, bop him 5 times on the head and he's done for. Then proceed to the cracked doorway to the left. As Hello Kitty walks through the doorway, she looks around confused, concerned for the well-being of Tippy Bear. After looking around for a moment, she notices Tippy Bear floating down from the ceiling, still held by those violent red balloons. The balloons release him upon landing and float away, knowing they no longer have a master thanks to the powerful feet of Hello Kitty. Afterwards, Tippy will thank Hello Kitty for the daring rescue. From there, we see Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty 2, and Tippy Bear all floating home over the Airplane Islands. Aww... how cute. Then once the credits have rolled, there's a screen of Mr. Mole, Mr. Mouse, Tippy Bear, Hello Kitty 2, and, of course, Hello Kitty all waving good-bye to you, the player. That's all there is to the ending. Turn off the console or reset the game. They will not quit waving and go home at any point. Stop right now and turn off the console. Hurry up! You just rescued them all from pain and suffering, and now you're controlling their thankful waving of goodbye by refusing to turn off the console! GOD, just let them rest! *sob* *sob* =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 6. Rumors ***I know it's a hot rumor in Hello Kitty World circles, but NO! You cannot play as Tippy Bear! Get over it! Hello Kitty and Hello Kitty 2 are all there are! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 7. Credits I'd like to thank the following... Arch0 - Simply because he won't want to be associated with this. :X GameFAQs - For hosting this FAQ. CJayC - For creating GameFAQs in the first place.
