Introduction -= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Fighting Hero III is the other Fighting Hero game from Mega Soft (there was no FH II apparently). It is a bit more polished than the first game, since the controls are not as clunky. You have a variety of characters to choose from, but your opponents are extremely difficult! If you are interested in trying this game out, be prepared for a beat down, or be VERY patient if you hope to actually win. I would personally avoid this game, but the final choice is yours. ***************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= 3. Controls -= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Control Pad: Move your character A: Punch B: Kick Start: Pause/resume game Select: N/A ***************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= 4. Overview -= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ========== Game Modes ========== Game Start: This is the 1-Player mode, basically. You pick a character and then you do battle with a randomly selected opponent. V.S. Battle: In this mode, you can battle against a second human player. Pick from a selection of 30 characters to fight as! ========== Characters ========== 1-Player Mode ------------- These are the characters you can pick from in the 1-Player (Game Start) mode. This is the only mode where you can actually see statistics for the character you choose: Duke Weight: 80kg Height: 185cm Terisa Weight: 68kg Height: 178cm Lee Weight: 70kg Height: 180cm K. Sato Weight: 72kg Height: 176cm Bayefu Weight: 124kg Height: 199cm Tanam Weight: 74kg Height: 187cm Hook Weight: 95kg Height: 196cm Sama Weight: 68kg Height: 179cm Toza Weight: 62kg Height: 160cm Rasha Weight: 110kg Height: 202cm 2-Player Mode ------------- Duke Terisa Lee K. Sato Bayefu Tanam Hook Sama Toza Rasha Frank Erica Jing Zen Ivan Magat Noah Rita Arkun Munzer Tim Gina Tiger Kanada Isaac Yuga Pedro Sylvia Galula Adel ======== Fighting ======== Of course, the main focus of the game is the fighting. As opposed to the first Fighting Hero game, you can now perform jumping attacks by pressing A or B when in the air. If you want to do a rolling jump, which covers more horizontal distance, you can hold Left or Right while pressing Up to jump. Unfortunately, there is no way to block attacks in this game, so you need to be very careful when dealing with your opponents. You can crouch down by pressing Down, though. While crouching, you can perform a low punch or a sweeping kick attack. In order to win a match, you must beat your opponents in two rounds of battle. There can be a third round in the event of a tie, of course. The main objective is to win two rounds in order to win the overall match. ***************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -= 5.
