Controller
########################

The game is played with up to four competitors. Of course there are only two
controller on the Famicom so the developer came up with a way to split up
these. Two people can share one controller to enable this. Player 1 and 3 use
Controller 1, Player 2 and 4 will use Controller 2.

The D-Cross Pad is used to move around on the screen. Buttons A and B are for
answering questions.


Game
########################

At the beginning of the game press START to begin the game.
On the first screen you can change the game's rules and settings. Use the A or
B button to make changes.
The first option [にんずう - 人数] is the number of people wishing to play.
Select between 1 and 4.
Option 2 is for the Level [レベル]. Level 1 is easy whereas Level 2 is hard.
Third set the registration requirement [とうろく - 登録] to Yes or No.
Finally, select one of the venues you want to play. I will described in detail
later, but know that not all of them can be played by yourself.
Press START to continue.

If you selected Y for the registration then you will be asked to input a name
for each person. Otherwise the game assigns something automatically.

Every game has questions you have to answer. Each correct answer is worth 100
points. There is a short time limit on how long you can take to answer the
question once you have buzzed. I think it is only 3 seconds.


Venue 1: Quiz
########################

This game is for 1 to 4 players. The rest of the non-human players are occupied
by the computer.

Each player is assigned a color for the quiz. The person that buzzes first will
get to answer the question. Your aim is to get to the top of the ceiling as
first or reach 1000 points (with double points this means you won't reach the
top but doesn't matter).

You can already buzz while the question is being displayed without the answers,
but you will risk not knowing the correct answer position.

To get to the top you have to answer a question once to light up your color
display, then once more to rise by one level. If you get something wrong you
will lose all points, the flashed up light as well as return to the floor.

Sometimes you get a double point event at random which will, as it says, double
your points for answering correctly. It only lasts one round.


Venue 2: Othello
########################

This game is for 2 players or up. You cannot play on your own or against the
computer.

You answer questions as usual, but as reward for correct answer you get to
place a tile on the Othello board.

The goal is too simply gain more of your color on the board than your opponent.
To do this, you must be able to convert your opponent's colors  into your own.
Place a tile where the opponent's tile will be surrounded on both sides either
horizontal, vertical or diagonal. This will turn it around and change to your
color. The aim is to convert everything to your color as much as possible. Each
tile of your color is worth 100 points and once one person has 1,000 the game
is won.


Venue 3: Board Game
########################

This game is for 2 players or more. You cannot play on your own or against the
computer.

The first person to reach the GOAL in the center wins the game. You can move
when answering correctly, then hit the A button to cycle through the number of
moves one can make. The number is from 0 to 5. In order to reach the middle you
must first land directly on your color corner and with the next move you may go
towards the center goal. If you get too many then you will walk backwards from
the goal again and back towards the corner. It can take a long time to finish
the game.

If you answered incorrectly then you must sit out the next round and let the
others make a move. After this one round you are free to answer again.

Each tile moved forward is worth 100 points.

Use START to pause the game.


Venue 4: Card Game
########################

This game is for 2 players or more. You cannot play on your own or against the
computer.

On the table are 20 overturned Mah-jong tiles. The game is played like Memory
where you can uncover two if you answered correctly. If you find two you get
points for it, else they are overturned again and the next person can retry.
The trick is to remember where the tiles are. When you get a correct pair, you
may continue until you miss. Each correct pair is worth 200 points. The person
with the most points wins the game.
