Introduction]-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Welcome to my Star Wars: Rogue Squadron FAQ/Walkthrough for the N64. It's been a while since I last played this game, with the sequel[s] coming out for Nintendo's newest system, the GameCube. Compared to Rogue Leader, this game is still great, although the frame rate suffers. Anyways, this FAQ is to mainly aid you in your fight against the evil Empire. May the force be with you. If you have any questions that you want to email me, you can do so at: Legomondo [at] yahoo [dot] com. If you're wondering why I spelt out the @ and ., it's because I get a lot of spam mail due to my guides, which I'm guessing is due to lots of spam bots. So, instead of depriving you all a way to contact me, this will [hopefully] stop a new wave. Oh, and by the way, when you're emailing me, include the title of the game in the subject. - Legomondo =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=[3. Radar: This is an important feature. With this, you can see both enemy and friendly units on the radar, allowing you to track them down. Enemy units appear in red, while friendly units appear in green. Your radar is invaluable for finding mission objectives. Make sure that the orange wedge is at 12:00 North to head in the right direction. As you pass over your objective, the wedge will widen and disappear. Health: In the lower-left hand corner of the screen, a model of your craft will appear. A perfectly fine craft will appear in green, unless you pick up the Advanced Shield Upgrade in which case it will appear in blue. However, as your craft accumulates the damages, it will slowly turn orange, and then to a red. Finally, your craft will flash indicating you're close to destruction. If you have an R2 unit, it will be able to recover some of your health, until it is knocked out. Weapon Statistics: In the lower-right hand corner, there will be your secondary weapon display. A counter will tell you how much of the weapon you have left. Each craft has a certain amount of secondary weapons, except for the Speeder, so use your missiles wisely. If your craft is destroyed, the counter is reset. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=[4. Luke Skywalker, with the help of Wedge Antilles, has blown up the Death Star. But there is little time to celebrate. The mighty Empire is gathering strength for a determined, all-out assault on the Rebel forces." _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Introduction _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Star Wars Chapter 1 The Rebel Opposition Six months have passed since the battle of Yavin. The Death Star has been destroyed but the fight for freedom is far from over. As the war against the Empire rages across the vastness of space, Luke Skywalker forms the legendary Rogue Squadron from the Rebel Alliance's most skilled X-Wing pilots. Their mission: to defend the struggling Rebel Alliance against a still powerful Imperial foe, in a last ditch effort to control the galaxy... _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 1: Ambush at Mos Eisley Take an early-morning run over Mos Eisley with Wedge Antilles, but keep your eyes open for any suspicious activity. Default Craft: X-Wing Primary: [1] Protect the Homesteads [2] Destroy the Probe Droids [3] Protect Mos Eisley [4] Eliminate the Imperial Forces Walkthrough: [1] Protect the Homesteads Simple enough, you cannot complete this objective without first destroying the Probe Droids. You can actually just fly around, and only destroy the Droids that are firing on the poor civilians, and the others will just hang around. While you're out saving the day, you'll hear your wingmen scream, which signalfies that he got shot down. [2] Destroy the Probe Droids There are five areas that are infested with the Probe Droids. Your wingmen will be on an assigned path the programmers, and will help you take down a few. If you don't want one of them to get shot down, then fly with them, but you'll end up flying in circles. Just let him die, and get on with your mission. Each area will have different amount of probe droids, but you need to destroy them all to move on. [3] Protect Mos Eisley After the last Probe Droid is gone, you will receive word that Mos Eisley is under attack. Head towards Mos Eisley to scope out the situation. You'll find out that six TIE Bombers are trying to destroy it. [4] Eliminate the Imperial Forces Six TIE Bombers, each carrying unlimited payloads of bombs. What do you do? What do you do?! You destroy them of course. You can link up your lasers if you want, since one fully charged shot will take it down with a direct hit. Try to destroy them before they cause too much damage. By the way, your remaining wingman will just fly around. Lazy bum! _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 2: Rendevous on Barkhesh Escort valuable Rebel supplies through dangerous Imperial territory, over the humid lands of Barkhesh. Default Craft: X-Wing Primary: [1] Escort Supply Convoy to Safety Walkthrough: [1] Escort Supply Convoy to Safety Your first protecting mission, and this ones simple. Really, it is. You'll notice that you have lots of wingmen for this one, but there just there for bantha fodder. Well, they do take out some droids, but that's about it. Anyways, as soon as you start your mission, turn to your right and take out the AT-ST there. Use a proton torpedo if you want, it'll make things faster. Follow your radar and finish any leftover Probe Droids that your wingmen didn't [or couldn't] take out. Follow the yellow [brick] road! Finally, you'll come to the small Rebel Outpost, where the five Supply Convoys are waiting. They are your #1 priority here. If you also notice, you'll see two Combat Vehicles behind them, and one in front of them. Destroy the Probe Droids loitering about to get them moving. After they make a right turn, you'll come across another AT-ST - which is bad. Take it out quickly with a proton torpedo and your lasers before it does too much damage. When you hear your wingmen say: "Watch for enemy fighters.", you'll know that enemy TIE Bombers are on their merry way. Head for the rear of the convoy and take them down while they're flying over the ridge. If you also notice, the two Combat Vehicles have gone on a separate route. Two more AT-STs are ahead of the convoys, and you know what to do. Take them out. Above them are two Turbolasers on ridges, which you can destroy. It's up to you really, they don't pose a threat, since you're quite small. La la, killing some time, they make it out into an open area, where two more AT-STs are waiting. If you notice to the right side, you'll see the remains of the AT-ST you took out at the start of the mission. Take them both out. As they go near the canyon walls, two more TIE Bombers will attack them. Finally, they go around a pyramid like structure and one last TIE Bomber will attack. The two Combat Vehicles also meet up at the rendevous point, though under heavy fire by Turbolasers. Wait for them to meet up, and the mission is accomplished! _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 3: The Search for the Nonnah Race against time to recover the crew and cargo of a downed Rebel ship - before the Imperials beat you to it. Default Craft: A-Wing Primary: [1] Locate Crashed Rebel Ship [2] Protect the Ship from Invading Imperial Forces Walkthrough: [1] Locate Crashed Rebel Ship This ones tougher than you think. As soon as the mission starts, dive down some, and then pull back up so the TIE Interceptor's laser fire doesn't hit you. You have to quickly take down the two squads of TIEs that attack your wingmen, or else they'll go down. Once finished, you have three paths to choose from, and your radar is null right now. If you hang around long enough, two more TIE Interceptors will come, followed by a TIE Bomber. Choose a path, and stick with it. You know if you reach the right location by swarming A- Wings, and the activation of your radar. If not, choose another. If you don't find it, the Nonnah will send out a call for help when the Imperials start to attack, and your radar will activate. [2] Protect the Ship from Invading Imperial Forces Once there, you need to destroy the three Tank Droids and the AT-ST. Doing so will activate four waves of TIE Bombers. They will travel in pairs, and come from either the left or right. It all depends on which area the Nonnah crashed in. After the first wave, three AT-PTs deploy. Quickly take them out, and wait for Han's shuttle to pick up the crew and cargo. Once the last TIE Bomber has been destroyed, the "shuttle is away!" - sort of. A continuous wave of TIE Interceptors are on the shuttle's tail, and will relentlessly pursue it. The shuttle itself won't fire back, so you'll need to pursue them. Just watch out and don't get in front of the laser fire. Once the shuttle reaches the starting point of the mission, you have completed it. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 4: Defection at Corellia Imperial Officer Crix Madine wishes to join the Rebel Alliance, but the Empire will do anything to stop him. Protect Corellia from destruction as Madine makes good his escape. Default Craft: Snowspeeder Primary: [1] Investigate Strange Readings [2] Protect the Capital Tower [3] Protect the Tech Center [4] Protect the Evacuation Shuttles Walkthrough: [1] Investigate Strange Readings Fly around and wait for your radar to pick up something. Go ahead, and fly with it, until you reach a group of Probe Droids. The main concern here is crashing into them, so make sure you fire from far away. When the last one is destroyed, Madine will call for help. [2] Protect the Capital Tower The first thing you need to do is to defend the city from TIE Bombers. There will be an endless stream of them, and the only way to save it is to take them all out. Eventually, you'll get a call from the Tech Center and you can leave that behind, for now. [3] Protect the Tech Center It will be easier to protect the Tech Center, since there are only four TIE Bombers. Taking them out will trigger another attack on the Capital Tower. En route, Wedge will be attacked by TIEs, and the Millennium Falcon will take them out. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ! Skip the TIE Bombers, because the only thing that can destroy it is the AT-AT. Tie it up, and once it's down, the Tech Center will again be under fire. [3] Protect the Tech Center A whole "legion" of troops are there, including Stormtroopers. The friendly turret nearby will take them out, so you can focus on the AT- STs. Aim for the neck to cause the most damage. You will then see an AT-AT off into the distance. Tie it up to trigger the Evacuation Shuttles. [4] Protect the Evacuation Shuttles Hang around the Tech Center for a moment, and a squad of TIE Fighters will pass. Destroy them, and then head for the Shuttle. Another squad will come up behind them. Take that down, and wait for the mission to end. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 5: Liberation of Gerrard V The cowardly Imperial governor is looting the city, using his luxury yachts to transport stolen goods. Help the citizens of Gerald V keep their rightful treasures and stop the Empire in its tracks. Default Craft: X-Wing Primary: [1] Escort Y-Wings to Their Targets [2] Disable Civilian Yachts [3] Destroy Big Gun Turret Walkthrough: [1] Escort Y-Wings to Their Targets You could just follow your radar and follow the Y-Wings, but then... they would die. The Y-Wings have think armor and shields, and can take a variety of attacks, but you must take care of the source of them. Located on the outer edges of both cities are Missile Turrets. Take out the three around the city, and another one near the second one. Search for Gun Turrets on the ground, and any on top of buildings. Then, you can follow them around, or take out some of the AT-PTs walking around. Eventually, Wedge will tell you that the 128th TIE Interceptor Squadron has arrived. The Y-Wings will move onto the second city. Along the way, destroy the two AT-PTs, and the Missile Turret. Destroy the two Missile Turrets on top of the buildings, and the Gun Turrets around them. Just hunt TIEs after that. [2] Disable Civilian Yachts You can't complete this objective really, without being in a Y-Wing. So, just protect the Y-Wings to the best of your ability, and let them do the dirty work. [3] Destroy Big Gun Turret This ones hard to destroy, and with your current state of weapons, it'll take a long time with just using lasers. Thankfully, you have Advanced Proton Torpedoes to help you out. Take care of the Missile Turret at its base, and the two AT-PTs. Then, use three Torpedoes, and your lasers to take it out. Then, wait for the Y-Wings to finish their job. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Chapter II _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Star Wars Chapter 2 Rogue Squadron Kasan Moor, Imperial Ace and leader of the dreaded 128th TIE Interceptor Squadron has now defected to the Rebel Alliance. Default Craft: X-Wing Primary: [1] Use Trench to Avoid Missile Turrets [2] Locate and Destroy the Shield Generator [3] Escort and Protect Madine's Troops Walkthrough: [1] Use Trench to Avoid Missile Turrets Rather simple really, and there's no way you can fail this objective. Don't even bother to ask why they put this in here. You'll need to protect the Attack Convoys, so destroy the three AT-PTs ahead. You can take out the structures if you want, but it's not necessary. Destroy the four Gun Turrets around the shield and look for the Shield Generator. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ! [3] Escort and Protect Madine's Troops As soon as you meet back up with them, destroy the three AT-PTs coming up from behind, as well as the ones emerging from the "base" or sorts. One of the Combat Vehicles will engage them and destroy them too. Next comes the air assault. Three TIE Bombers and two TIE Interceptors will come. Once you've passed the dishes, you'll come across an AT-AT. If you don't somehow distract it, your wingmen will get shot down trying to destroy it. Fly around in front of its face, like a fly, and then take it down. Destroy the TIEs on the landing pad (Does this seem like the Imperial Academy Heist in Rogue Leader?) and any other defensive structure nearby. Fly to the next landing pad, and you might be able to take out the Imperial Shuttle before it leaves. Head towards it and destroy it, and directly behind it will be the AT-ST Factory. Of course, you're going to destroy it. First, destroy the turrets and the second AT-ST, then go in for the kill. Stormtroopers and TIEs will take pot shots at you. Destroy the main, large building to complete this objective. [3] Locate and Destroy the AT-AT Factory Head out, and turn right once you're at the entrance of the AT-ST Factory into another canyon. You might think that you're heading back towards the entrance point, but upon rounding the corner, you'll see four turrets, both Missile and Gun, and an AT-ST. Take the Missile Turrets down first, and then the AT-AT. You'll need to destroy the main buildings here too. What's weird is that underneath the big one, there's a fallen AT-ST on the ground. Take a left, pass two Turrets and you should come to a pretty much open valley. Your first priorities will be the Missile Turrets in the immediate area, then the Gun Turrets. All in all, they are very easy to take out. You can then focus on the Imperial Garrisons nearby, or waste your time going to the Spaceport. If you do destroy the Imperial Garrisons before destroying the Spaceport, an Imperial Shuttle will come in. [2] Locate and Destroy the Imperial Spaceport The Spaceport is heavily guarded, I can tell you that. The first thing to do is to destroy all of the defenses. Then the Spaceport itself. You can also find and destroy three Imperial Shuttles. I always find it fun to ionize them and watch them go down. If this is the last thing you need to destroy, then a cutscene will intervene and you will see Wedge get shot down. [3] Locate and Destroy the Imperial Garrisons If you haven't done so already, the Imperial Garrisons are right next to the Sensor Array. One bomb will do, and you get drop another simultaneously to take out the Imperial Stormtroopers that emerge. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 9: Rescue on Kessel You must find Wedge before the Imperials deliver him to the prison facility - and certain death! Default Craft: X-Wing Primary: [1] Rescue Wedge Walkthrough: [1] Rescue Wedge It's all about Wedge, isn't it?! Oh well, you gotta save him. You can follow your wingmen around, and destroy the nearby Missile Turret, or you can just leave it. The train will be off to your right. You'll need to stop the train with your Ion Cannons. What? What is this you say? I'm in an X-Wing. Well, of course, they armed its secondary with the Ion Cannon. The first thing to save yourself is to knock out the three defensive cars. Simply tap the secondary fire button to fire short bursts and eventually knock them out. You'll need to act fast to disable the rest of the train, before they come back online. The more you ionize the train, the slower it goes. As the train progresses however, you'll encounter missile turrets which will take down your wingmen. Once all parts of the train are ionized, the mission is complete. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 10: Prisons of Kessel Now that Wedge is safe, help General Madine free other Rebels from the notorious prions of Kessel. Default Craft: X-Wing Primary: [1] Destroy the Power Generator [2] Protect and Escort Madine's Shuttle Walkthrough: [1] Destroy the Power Generator Follow Madine's ship and you'll come across three Probe Droids and two AT-STs. Blast them all if you want, especially the AT-STs. The ship will land at the first prison facility, but as you can tell, it's surrounded by a shield. Off to find the Generator. Following your radar, look on top one of the nearby mountains to spot a Missile Turret. Take it out and follow your radar, taking out any Turbolasers that you pass by. Finally, you'll reach the Shield Generator. Take out the nearby Missile Turret, and the AT-ST if you want, and then the Generator. Watch the shield power down, and quickly speed back toward the shuttle. [2] Protect and Escort Madine's Shuttle There are four prison locations, and each one wil have three to four Turbolasers, as well as some structures. Take out what you can and wait for the TIEs to come around. You know what to do. Engage them in a dogfight, and you'll come out as the winner. By the way, if you don't take out the bunkers fast enough, Imperial Stormtroopers will come out and kill the fleeing Rebels. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ! Preparing to capture Thyferra, with its precious supply of healing bacta, Seerdon is now consolidating his power for a massive attack. His success could very well break the fledging Rebellion, and surely doom the galaxy to Imperial rule. Luke Skywalker and Rogue Squadron are assigned to disrupt his operation with swift hit-and-run missions against key targets such as the Imperial mining operation on Taloraan... _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 11: Battle Above Taloraan In the skies above Taloraan, fight the Empire for control of the Tibanna Gas platforms, but be careful not to harm the civilian operations there! Default Craft: A-Wing Primary: [1] Locate and Destroy the Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers [2] Avoid Civilian Casualties Walkthrough: [1] Locate and Destroy the Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers Simple enough. The Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers are marked with the Imperial logo. The only problem is, sometimes, your laser fire will go through them and hit the civilian containers nearby. Sucks, doesn't it? There are nine platforms I believe, that need to be rid of the Imperials, and some of them are guarded by Turrets. More Turrets appear as you move along, and they will target your poor A-Wing. After the eighth platform [if you've made it that far], a huge wave of TIE Fighters and Interceptor comes at you. They'll probably score a few hits, and you'll continue onto the city. What you don't know is that a TIE Interceptor is on your tail and braking will put you in his sights. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ! [2] Avoid Civilian Casualties Imperials won't fire on the containers, or at least most of them won't. Of course, the wall will only blow up once the AT-PTs reach a certain point. Fly around for awhile, but it's best if you clear the area ahead. [3] Escort Rebel AT-PTs to the Landing Zone You have two more AT-ATs that you need to face. The first is next to the Shield Generator. Take it out fast, or it'll blow up the defenseless AT-PTs as they try to cross the valley. As soon as you take that one down, ignore the Tank Droids, as they won't damage them too much, and proceed along the path until you come to the last AT-AT. Take it down fast, and if you've been doing things right, you should have plenty of time. Once you've taken it down, take out any Turbolasers nearby. As the AT-PTs cross the valley, three waves, each with three Tank Droids will converge. The AT-PTs can handle some of them, and mop up the rest with laser fire. As they're going down the home stretch, TIE Bombers will attack. Your wingmen will [thankfully] take some of them down, and you'll need to take down the rest. When one says: "Watch for enemy fighters.", you'll know that another wave is coming. Destroy the last line of Tank Droids, and they're on their way. [4] Destroy Imperial Research Facility Head back to the Shield Generator and take it out now, if you haven't been doing so. Also, one of the bunkers nearby is continually producing Tank Droids, so you can blow it up if you want to put a stop to it. Head towards the research facility and take out the Missile Turrets guarding it. After that, pump it full of laser and wait for it to blow up. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 13: Blockade on Chandrila Moff Seerdon has chosen to hold Chandrila hostage, in an attempt to make the Rebellion pay for its raid on Fest. Even without the thousands of Jedi Knights who formed the backbone of the Old Republic, the Rebel Alliance has managed to control three quarters of the galaxy. Darth Vader is dead, but a reborn Empire under a mysterious new leader strikes back at the struggling Rebel Alliance, hoping to crush the fledging new Republic. Massive World Devastators, more powerful and unstoppable than the Death Star, ravage entire planets. Rogue Squadron, which is now commanded by Wedge Antilles, persists in mounting daring missions throughout the galaxy... _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 16: The Battle of Calamari The World Devastators are raining destruction on the peaceful world of Mon Calamari. Fly as Wedge Antilles, and battle against all odds to stop their evil conquest. Default Craft: V-Wing Primary: [1] Destroy the World Devastators [2] Protect the City Walkthrough: [1] Destroy the World Devastators If you watch the opening scene, are the Rebels destroying each other?? There are three that you need to destroy, and each of them have a variety of gun emplacements, including missiles. The first thing you need to do is to destroy their shield generators, which looks like a tiny furnace on the top. Make strafing runs and be sure to fly sideways of sorts to avoid the missile fire. Once the Shield Generator is blown, take out two of the legs to cause it to stop. You will need to repeat this process two more times. [2] Protect the City After the World Devastators are no more, you have a new threat to worry about. New, faster, and more nimble TIEs arrive on the scene, harrassing the cities. They are extremely agile and if you get one on your tail, travel in a straight line till the city is behind you and return. This is where the V-Wing's cluster missiles come in handy. If you can get to the third city fast enough, you can see the TIEs approaching from the sky. You can then head head on to them and destroy them before they make it to the city. Your choice, but once you do, the mission is over. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Bonus Missions _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 17: Beggar's Canyon Race through Beggar's Canyoj in your T-16 Skyhopper! Default Craft: T-16 Skyhopper Primary: [1] Win the Race Walkthrough: [1] Win the Race I really can't help you here, it all depends on skill. As soon as you start though, all three will be ahead of you and you will need to catch up. The left path is the intermediate route. The middle is the easiest, and the right is the hardest. Consequently, the left earns you a silver medal, the central earns a bronze, and the right earns you a gold. You can fire at your wingmen, but if they take too many shots, they go down, and you're blamed. Don't ram into them either, although it's most likely their fault. Finally, you cannot cheat by going over the sides because Luke will reprimand himself and you'll start over. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 18: The Death Star Trench Run Travel down the Death Star trench, eliminating as many laser cannons as possible. If the trench guns stop firing, you can bet the Death Star's compliment of TIEs will be in close pursuit. Continue down the trench until you reach the exhaust port area. Good luck, and may the force be with you. Default Craft: X-Wing Primary: [1] Chase the Imperials Through the Trench [2] Destroy the Power Plant at the End of the Trench Walkthrough: [1] Chase the Imperials Through the Trench Well, they recreated this scene from A New Hope and yet, it sucks. The real trench didn't turn at 90 degree angles, nor did huge towers that were turrets try to blas you. And what's with the huge blocks that act like walls. Anyways, you can't really chase the Imperials because when you're going down the trench, they're always going head on. They always score a few shots while you're trying to aim, and then they pass you by. The Millennium Falcon will save you, just like in the movies. [2] Destroy the Power Plant at the End of the Trench Talk about a bad recreation, the hole is surrounded by a dozen turrets. If you've the homing missile upgrade, you're going to want to fire a dumb missile (double-tap the Secondary Fire Button) straight at the port. Don't try to escape either, because someone will say the line: "Luke, what's wrong?" or something like that and you'll fail. _______________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Mission 19: Battle of Hoth Experience the Battle of Hoth from the cockpit of your snowspeeder, as you hold off the Imperial forces and help the Rebel Transports escape. Just aim at them, and continue on with your mission. [2] Defend Rogue Ten From AT-ST Attack How a little guy manages to stay alive while three AT-STs are on him is a mystery to me. When you're heading towards his direction, come from the right to aim at the backside of the first AT-ST. Destroy the one attacking Rogue Ten next, and then the final one. [3] Defend the Generator from the Imperial Attack The Imperial attack consists of three AT-ATs, five AT-STs, and some Stormtroopers. If you don't take care of the central AT-ATs fast, your wingmen will get shot down. Not like they or the Turrets guarding the Generator are doing any good for that matter. Rope them down, although you might want to watch out, because you could crash into the other one or an AT-ST since they're travelling pretty close. Move slowly toward the Probe Droids until you're just out of reach of their firing range. If they start to fire on you, move back. Since you don't have a targeting reticule, you're pretty much blind. Aim up with Z and the Control Stick and fire off a few blasts. It'll take a while to destroy the floating Probe Droids, but it will reduce the damage you take. Once they're gone, head for the three Turbolasers and let the auto-aim take care of them. The auto-aim will also take care of the Imperial Storm Troopers. Once all threats are gone, take out the radar dish. Head to your left, towards the shield and the Rebel Convoys. Take out the single Rebel Turret first, and then the Convoys and attack Convoys. They should really be no threat to you, just take them out at long range. Then, take out the miniature Shield Generator to power down the shield around the building. Destroy the building and some Rebels should run out. Quickly shoot them all to stop the Imperial Landing Craft from taking off. It doesn't really matter though as it is invincible. If the Rebels do escape though, it's no big deal. Go down south after you decimate the Rebels toward what looks like a miniature village. There will be no more resistance from this point on so don't worry. Now's the time when you can put the walking without using the Control Stick. Just head towards them and go forward while blasting at the buildings. After they're all gone, let the auto-aim take out the villagers. Finally, head west from your position to your last objective. This is just a moisture farm and a few other buildings. Follow the previous directions to take out the farm and any moisture towers. Then, just eliminate the people on the ground to end the bonus mission. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=[5. NOTE: Any paragraph in " marks means that I took the excerpt from the Instruction Manual. _______________________________________________________________________ The Rebel Alliance ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Incom T-65 X-Wing ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Primary Weapon: [4] Laser Cannons Secondary Weapon: [6] Proton Torpedoes Special Ability: Opens/Closes S-foils "Named for its unique double-layered wings, or S-foils, this ship is one of the most versatile weapons in the Rebel Alliance. In combat, its S-foils are opened to give it greater maneuverability. These S- foils are closed during normal flight, so it can fly faster while still pulling off advanced aerobatics such as rolls. The X-Wing is formidably armed, with high-powered blaster cannons in its wing tips, plus prton torpedo launchers on its main space-frame. With its reinforced titanium alloy hull and high-powered shield generators, the X-wing can take a barrage of minor hits and still keep flying." "A proton torpedo is armed with a proton-scattering energy warhead that inflicts heavier damage than an ordinary missile. There is also an advanced version that has a seeking device that allows it to follow a moving target." A-Wing Starfighter ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Primary Weapon: [2] Laser Cannons Secondary Weapon: [8] Concussion Missiles "This is the fastest starfighter in the Rebel Alliance. The A-wing can outrun most ships in the Imperial Navy, making it deal for Rogue Squadron's hit-and-run missions. Its powerful armament includes twin wing-mounted pivoting blaster cannons and concussion missiles. Although the A-wing is highly maneuverable in dogfights, it cannot sustain much battle damage, and its cockpit design exposes its pilot to enemy fire." The A-Wing comes from their sleek arrowhead shape and is the fastest fighter the Rebel Alliance has. It is capable of matching and exceeding a TIE Interceptor in speed. However, what they gain in speed, they lose in armor, as the A-Wing is poorly shielded, downed by a barrage of laser cannons. They rely on their small size and their manerverability and are exceptional at hit-and-run missions, ideal for chasing down individual enemy starfighters. Green squadron in the Battle of Endor was made up of A-Wings. "When this sub-lightspeed projectile [Concussion Missiles] hits home, it creates powerful shock waves that can penetrate even the heaviest armor to obliterate its target. These air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons are most effective against stationary targets. A concussion missile will travel in a straight line once it's fired, and can only be fired one at a time. These are not as powerful as protons, and seeking and advanced versions are available." Y-Wing Starfighter ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Primary Weapon: [2] Laser Cannons Secondary Weapon: [20] Bombs Special Ability: Ion Cannon "A cross between a fighter and a bomber, the Y-wing formed the backbone of the Rebel Alliance starfigheter fleet prior to the introduction of the X-wing. The workhorse Y-wing is larger, slower, and less maneuverable than the X-wing, and has difficulty against the more agile Imperial craft. However, it is extremely durable, and heavily armed with blasters, an ion cannon, and bombs, making it ideal for bombing and strafing runs against surface targets." "Only the Y-wing is armed with these destructive weapons [Bombs], which can be dropped on ground targets. They have a large blast radius, to inflict heavy damage over a wide area. Bombs can damage your own craft if dropped at a low altitude. An advanced version is available." "The special weapon for the Y-wing. Uses blue blasts of ionized energy, which overload and fuse the circuits of ship weapons, shield, and engines, effectively knocking them out of action and sometimes destroying smallery targets. An ion cannon needs time to charge to full power, and if you use it before it's fully charged, your ion blast will be less effective. Charge the ion cannon by holding down the Special Button." Incom T-47 Airspeeder [Snowspeeder] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Primary Weapon: [2] Laser Cannons Secondary Weapon: Tow Cable "A nickname for the Income T-47, this craft made a valiant defense at the Battle of Hoth against Imperial forces, enabling the Rebels to evacuate their base. An airspeeder is limited to low alititudes, is unable to perform elaborate acrobatic maneuvers such as rolls, and has no shields. It compensates for this with fast speed and small size that make it a difficult target for Imperial weaopns. This craft is armed with two blaster cannons, plus a tow cable to tangle AT-ATs." "Airspeeders are fitted with a harpoon gun that launches a high- powered, barbed projectile attached to a retractable flexisteel tow cable." V-wing Airspeeder ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Primary Weapon: [2] Laser Cannons Secondary Weapon: [5] Cluster Missiles Special Ability: Scram Jet "With its light weight and swift speed, the V-wing has a definite advantage over the airspeeder. It features a scram jet, a huge booster. Press the Special Button for a big speed boost. Use the scram jet sparingly, or the engines will overheat. The V-wing's weapons are already linked, so increase the rate with the Fire Mode Button. These also overheat if used too often." "Each of these weapons breaks apart into five smaller warheads shortly after launch. This results in a "spread" effect that increases the chances of hitting a target or inflicting more damage. A seeking version is available." Bespin Cloud Car ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ You don't get to pilot one of these, unlike in Rogue Leader. They do provide support in one of the missions, helping you take out the TIEs floating above. T-16 Skyhopper ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Primary Weapon: Laser Cannon You can pilot this craft, but only on the first bonus mission that you unlock. Used for early pilot training, they are often raced. Luke races his with Biggs Darklighter through Beggar's Canyon. Armed with a single laser cannon, you won't be doing much damage in this thing. Millenium Falcon ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Primary Weapon: [2] Quad-Laser Cannons Secondary Weapon: [10] Proton Torpedoes You know the deal. It's been modified with whatever, to help it and armed with quad-laser cannons. Can't say too much about this craft, except it performs exceptionally well when you're able to pilot this. Naboo N-1 Starfighter ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Primary Weapon: [2] Laser Cannons Secondary Weapon: [10] Proton Tropedoes The best ship in this game. Not earnable the legitimate way, instead, you must type in two passcodes to open this up. Check the "Codes & Secrets" section. Fast, agile, and armed with torpedoes, this is a force to be reckoned with. Also has an R-2 unit to help heal damage. Blockade Runner ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ You might recognize a Blockade Runner from the beginning of A New Hope, but it seems to be scaled down in size. It's got two rotating laser cannons on top and on the bottom of the ship, and will provide [some] cover fire. However, you must protect it from too much fire or else it'll go down in flames. Rebel Convoy ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ If you encounter one of these, you will most likely have to protect it. These convoys carry valuable supplies to the Rebel Alliance and will be under heavy fire in missions. Combat Convoy ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Modeled after the Rebel Convoy, or vice versa, they are smaller than a Rebel Convoy, and have a mounted gun on the top. They don't do much damage by themselves, but can help out. Watch out, they can easily be destroyed. _______________________________________________________________________ The Galactic Empire ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Stormtrooper ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ You wouldn't think that little men running around on the ground would pose much of a threat to someone flying the air, but they sure do. Swoop in low enough and they all fire at your craft, causing lots of damage if there are a lot around. Bombs work wonders against them as well as rapid laser fire. Speeder Bikes ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ I've only seen these in Assault on Kile II, but they are there. They're pretty fast too, so you generally want to aim before its path, although it's hard to predict. Attack Boats ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ In Corellia, they'll land on the beachhead, and invade the cities. You can destroy them before they can land, which will eliminate the problem, but they're never in your way. Armored Hover Train ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "With cars heavily defended by numerous gun emplacements and missile turrets, strafing runs against this mobile target are difficult at best." The best way to take this down, when you counter this, is with the Ion Cannon. While you aren't supposed to destroy this, you might be able to destroy the mounted guns of the train, which consist of two Turbolasers and a Missile Launcher on each offensive car. Ionize them to knock them out of the fight, as well as the rest of the train. AT-AT [All Terrain Armored Transport] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "Short for All Terrain Armored Transport, the four-legged Imperial walker strikes terror in the heart of any defender. This mechanized beast is armed with blaster cannons underneath its "chin" and medium blasters on each side of its "head," and have thick armor plating [about 15 centimeters] to protect it from most types of artillery fire. Try to wrap a tow cable around the "legs" of an AT-AT with a airspeeder to bring this behemoth down." The only way to bring this down is with the tow cable, unlike in Shadows of the Empire where you could [painfully] shoot it after a long time. After it's down though, blast it anywhere and watch it explode with brilliance. AT-PT [All Terrain Personal Transport] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "Short for All Terrain Personal Transport, this small, two-legged weapons system has the ability to climb up 45-degree mountains and hills. The AT-PT houses one or two soldiers, surrounding them with thick, heavy armor in its central command pod. It is armed with a twin-blaster cannon." They fire rapid shots, and can take you down quick, but has weak armor. AT-ST [All Terrain Scout Transport] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "Short for All Terrain Scout Transport, this chicken-like walker is used to support Imperial ground troops and protect the vulnerable underbelly of the AT-AT walkers. Since it balances on two legs, the two-person AT-ST is more unstable than the AT-AT, but its superior speed and formidable firepower more than make up for this weakness." The AT-ST is a smaller cousin of the Imperial AT-AT, but still served as a significant addition to the Imperials. Lightly armored, AT-STs have two chin mounted laser cannons and a concussion grenade launcher on its left side. It walks on two legs, and have been dubbed, the "Chicken" walker because of such. They are usually used in accompanying AT-ATs and help take care of any infantry that sneak by the larger walkers. Imperial Probe Droid ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "This reconnaissance device was used by Darth Vader to locate the Rebel base on Hoth. It can move quickly across planet surfaces, and is programmed to detect life forms and signs of habitation. An Imperial probe droid is armed with a blaster device." Easy to take out, one or two blaster shots from your vehicle will do. However, if you run into one, be sure to take heavy damage or end up as a black spot on the ground. Imperial Landing Craft ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "This heavily armored assault ship devotes two-thirds of its power to its shields, making it extremely difficult to destroy." If you want it plain and simple, you CANNOT destroy these things in any mission, unless otherwise specified in a mission objective. Imperial Lamba Class Shuttle ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Used to transport infantry and pick up some. Don't know too much about these things, except that you can destroy them. They have laser cannons, but don't pose a threat. Tank Droid ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "Designed to stop civil unrest on Imperial worlds, this fully automated combat vehicle driven by a droid brain is a brutal urban assault machine." It's not an anti-aircraft gun, which means you really won't have much trouble taking it out. Watch out if you're taking it head on though, as it might fire your way. Lightly armored, they are easy to take out. TIE Fighter ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "Powered by Twin Ion Engines [TIE], a TIE Fighter's advantage are its excellent maneuverability and its small profile, which makes it a difficult target to hit. However, these advantages come at a steep price, since it has no shields, no hyperdrive system, and no other weapons besides forward-mounted blaster cannons. A direct hit on one can usually destroy it." Your most numerous enemies in the game, they tend to fly in squads and pursue you. A ball shaped cockpit makes it hard to hit from behind, but its wide wings allow for an easier target. TIE Bomber ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "A TIE Bomber is armed with two front-firing blaster cannons, and can drop a variety of payloads, including bombs, guided concussion missiles, orbital mines, and thermal detonators." Heavily armored, compared to a TIE Fighter that is, they pack a payload as stated above. They don't engage in dogfights, instead, they focus on mission critical targets that you need to protect. Simply use its slow speed and maneuverability against it and it should go down. TIE Interceptor ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "This dagger-shaped starfighter is more than a match for the Rebel craft, since it's nearly as fast as an A-wing and more maneuverable than an X-wing. The TIE interceptor's weapons include four blaster cannons with advanced targeting software for greater accuracy. Since the TIE Interceptor has little armor and no shield generators, it can easily be destroyed by a few direct hits." An improvement on the orginal TIE Fighter design, if you get one on your tail, you're probably going to have a hard time shaking it, especially in an A-wing. These things are extremely agile, and you'll see a good deal of them on later missions. Waveskimmer ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "Like its name implies, this attack hydrofoil was designed to operate above the water's surface at high speeds. Originally built around the frame of an AT-AT, a waveskimmer is far more maneuverable than its land-bout counterpart." You won't be seeing much of this craft at all. It poses not threat to you either, so you can either ignore it, or destroy it. Turbolaser ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "Turbolasers are the backbone of Imperial planetary defenses throughout the galaxy. These stationary cannons fire twin blasterse strong enough to take out any fighter or infantry." Slow-firing structures, if you weave, you can easily avoid their fire, no matter how many there are. Take them out to make your life easier. Missile Turret ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "Advanced ground-based defensive weaponry used to protect important Imperial facilities. These turrets fire powerful missiles that home in on their targets and rarely miss. The destructive capability of these missiles should not be underestimated." Extremely lethal, if you're slow when you're in their sights, you're going to go down. If you hear a beeping nose when you're flying, you know a missile has tracked onto you. You can either fly around until it disappears, or either fly between canyons and hope it runs into it. The best thing is to avoid it completely or take it out before it spots you. Ionize it if you can, but simple laser shots can do well too. World Devastators ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ You'll only encounter this on the last true mission. You cannot destroy them until you take out the shield generator on top. They are extremely lethal, armed with a variety of turrets and missile launchers that track you down. Strafing runs are best for this target. After you take the shield generator out, aim for its legs or hoverpads to ground it and put it out for good. TIE Vanguard ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Also another vehicle you encounter in the last mission, these are an improvement, either in the AI category or some other, over the TIE Interceptor. They are extremely fast, and hard to hit. Add that to their ability to track you like a dog, and you've got a major problem on your hands. Best to take them out when you're heading straight-on. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=[6.
