INTRODUCTION ============================================================================= This is a FAQ to help you out with collecting all of the Madden Cards in Madden NFL 2002. In this FAQ I list all 329 of the Madden Cards, give you tips on how to earn more tokens, and list stats for the Madden Cards. ============================================================================= III. TOKEN TIPS ============================================================================= Here are some tips to gain extra tokens and to conserve the tokens you already have. These are some of the ways I used to collect all of the Madden Cards. Tip 1: If you have more than one of the same card, then sell the extra card you have for more tokens. There is not really any need to have two of the same card. Tip 2: If you buy a pack and do not get any new cards then reload your user profile so you still have the same amount of tokens before you bought the pack. This is helpful when you have a lot of Madden Cards because when you only have a few cards left to collect, it takes a few packs to get a new card. Tip 3: Save your profile after every new card(s) that you get. You do not want to lose any cards and if you use tip 2 above, then you will still have your new card(s) before you reload. #Note: The next two tips are from CheatCC.com. Millions of tokens Edit the speed of every player on the Ravens' defense to 15. Edit all of the halfbacks', fullbacks', tight ends', and wide receivers' ratings down to 0. Edit your offensive lineman's pass block rating to 99. Edit your quarterback in the following manner: 0 Passing Power, Accuracy; 99 Speed, Accel, Carrying, Awareness, Stamina, and Agility. Save your roster as "Cheat", load it before doing the following trick. Start a Two-Minute Drill. Choose All- Madden, and then the Ravens' defense. Choose whatever team you modified offensively, and make them your offense. Next, you will need a passing play. Choose Single Back Formation, and then Hot Route your second wide receiver, looking left to right. Also Hot Route your tight end. For the Hot Routes, make them do a buttonhook (Down on the D-pad). Now instead of passing the ball, run a "Quarterback Sweep" by sending the quarterback to the right side of the field. Run towards the end zone, using speed bursts as needed. Make sure you get to the end zone. If you do not, call timeout if the clock keeps ticking. If a penalty is called, do not waste the time running down the field. Just head out of bounds, and do it over. You should be able to score about ten touchdowns. Your score will be very odd, and you will get millions of tokens. Go the Madden Cards menu to see your tokens -- they may not appear on the Two Minute Drill menu. -From: jmretrac@earthlink.net Easy tokens For easy tokens, go to the two-minute drill screen. Choose two to four accounts, and the Admirals for defense. Choose your team and make sure you choose a profile to save to, and then start playing. Keep throwing to WR2 and you should get a lot of touchdowns. It is possible to get a score over 33,000 with this trick. ============================================================================= V. MADDEN CARD STATS ============================================================================= These are the stats listed on the back of the cards. Here is what the letters I am going to be using represent: R: is Rarity, the odds of getting that card. V: is Value, number of tokens received for selling that card. L: is Life, how long the card stats take effect. P: is Power, indicates how strong the card is. Players (1 - 150) ----------------- The player cards increase that players stats by a certain percent depending on if you have the bronze, silver, or gold card. Bronze: R: 1 in 350 V: 2 L: 1 Play P: 25 Silver: R: 1 in 550 V: 4 L: 1 Quarter P: 25 Gold: R: 1 in 1200 V: 8 L: 1 Half P: 25 Historic Players (151 - 200) ---------------------------- The historic player cards will unlock that player so you can play as some of the greats. These cards only come in Gold. Gold: R: 1 in 1300 V: 10 L: Unlimited P: 0 Cheat Codes (201 - 232) ----------------------- The cheat code cards let you use certain cheats when you play that card. The length on some of these cards differs. Bronze: R: 1 in 450 V: 3 L: 1 Play or 1 Game P: 25 Silver: R: 1 in 650 V: 6 L: 1 Quarter or 1 Game P: 50 Gold: R: 1 in 1500 V: 12 L: 1 Half or 1 Game P: 75 Secret Stadiums (233 - 248) --------------------------- The secret stadium cards unlock that stadium at the stadium select screen. These cards only come in Gold. Gold: R: 1 in 2000 V: 25 L: Unlimited P: 0 Secret Teams (249 - 297) ------------------------ The secret team cards unlock that team at the team select screen. These cards only come in Gold. Gold: R: 1 in 1400 V: 10 L: Unlimited P: 0 John Madden Card (298) ---------------------- This card unlocks the Madden millennium team. This card only comes in Gold.
