OK, it’s not one of the newest and coolest games in the world, but I’m kinda bored, so I decided to make this. Will be done for sure this Tuesday. Notice that this is only my 6th FAQ and I have began this business a year ago. Strange, huh? Just to let you know that you must read the e-mail note at the bottom of this FAQ. I have gotten 2 viruses due to not following the subject codes. I have let it go a lot of times, but now I’m not (starting this Wednesday). Thank you for all the others that have obeyed the subject codes  ======================================================================= >Revision of FAQ/Walkthrough Version 1.0 4/4/00 Made this FAQ/Walkthrough ======================================================================= >Game Information Title Fighting Force 64 Console(s) Nintendo 64 (original “Fighting Force” on PSX) ESRB Rating Teen 13+ (Animated Violence + Animated Blood) No. of Players 1-2 simultaneously Size 128 megabits Accessories N64 Controller Pak needed to save game data Designed for N64 Rumble Pak Designers Crave Entertainment Eidos Interactive Core Genre 3rd Person – Fighting ======================================================================= >About the Game The game is a 3D virtual fighter. You might have guessed that on the title, Fighting Force 64. Fighting Force 64 is just like the PSX version, the controlling and all, except that this game was held for too long. It got the saying, “too little, too late” from IGN. This was released two years after it was released on PSX. People say Fighting Force 2 for PSX is even worse, but I have never played it yet. Hopefully they create a better title, Fighting Force 3, for PS2 and Dolphin! You may be questioning, “Why did you make an FAQ for Fighting Force 64?” Good question, because I was bored and decided too. If you used this FAQ at all, please e-mail me. I want to know! ======================================================================= >Menu Information After the screens of the companies that made the game, you will see “Fighting Force 64” form on the screen, and then you’ll get the choice of two options. -Start Game -Options NOTE: If you wait long enough, you’ll find the Scores Screen. -Start Game Choose this whenever you’re ready to play the game. Remember that you can only save your options settings and game onto a Controller Pak. If you don’t have one, you always have to start over from scratch. ======================================================================= >The Heroes (as from nintendo.com) MACE DANIELS Age: 21 Height: 5’7” Weight: 126 lbs. Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green Vitals: 38-22-38 IQ: 200 Description Mace is a Private Investigator who does always stand on the right side of the law. She is a master of the Martial Arts, and possesses a wide variety of weaponry skill. She has joined the fight against Dr. Zeng to find fame and fortune, and also for the thrill of flirting with danger. Mace is well aware of her sensual appearance, and uses it freely to distract her foes. Hair: Blonde Eyes: Blue Biceps: 36” Chest: 48” Neck: 20” IQ: 187 Description Hawk spent his younger years as a vigilante fighting to free the world of social injustice. Seeing no end to this nation’s inequalities, he quickly became disillusioned and lost his belief that he could make a difference. Hawk views the threat of Dr. Zeng not only as an opportunity to bust heads, but also as a chance to return to the fight against oppression. Perhaps hidden feelings for Mace may have influenced his decision to join the battle. She goes to school during the day, and spends her nights dancing at raves in the warehouse district. She is the illegitimate daughter of Dr. Zeng, who used her to test the experimental drugs when she was only a child. Obviously, Alana is a bit upset at dear old Dad. She is not pursuing Dr. Zeng out of vengeance, but out of a sense of responsibility that she must stop her father. To make some extra money under the table, the prison officials allow Smasher to be hired as a mercenary to anyone who is willing to pay. Hawk is Smasher’s #1 customer, and has decided to use him in the fight against Dr. Zeng. Smasher’s monstorus size and amazing strength have led to rumors that he is not human. Whether or not these stories are true, it’s always better to have a bruiser like Smasher fighting with you instead of against you. E-mail me if you have an item or weapon that I don’t have listed here. ITEMS Money – You get (so much) points for taking the dough. Gold Piece – You get (so much) points for nabbing this gold. Diamond/Ruby – However you want to call it, you get (so much) for stealing this treasure. Sandwitch – You gain life that you lost by eating this. Hot Dog – Acts the same way as a sandwich, you gain life that you lost by eating this. You recover the same amount, too. Pop - You gain life by drinking this delicious beverage, but not as much as a sandwich or hot dog. Makes a perfect combination, dontcha think  Health Kit – Find these in crates. Red, green, and blue kits restore the same amount of energy you lost. WEAPONS Rails – Found at the Lift (1.3). There are on the sides of the room – you have to pull them out. It will take a range of 6-10 hits. Pistol – If you find it new or if an enemy hasn’t shot it at you yet, it’ll hold 5 bullets. If an enemy shot it once, you’ll have 4 bullets. Anything below that, and you’ll have 3 bullets. Shotgun – No enemy gets it and it only has 3 bullets. What a ripoff! Rocket Launcher – Super Cool! Holds 4 rockets each. Use it wisely and … oh yeah! It’ll only take one hit to fully wipe out a group of people that are close together. Flare Gun – Only found in the Hovercraft. There are two of them, and they only hold 1 flare. Use them wisely!! I perfer using them on a fresh group of people – it’s a pretty good explosion! Steel Bars – They take more damage and more hits than the rails on the lift. Axe – Strong, powerful, and hard to find! Fire Extinguisher – You can pick these up and chuck them at people! The real problem is that they may be hard to aim. I usually throw them at objects that are breakable. Grenades – Will take 10 seconds to explode whenever you pick it up. If you find one already active in a barrel, box, etc., you will have 3 seconds to flee! Great damage. Monitor – Found from breaking ATM Machines and other things that use a monitor. Knife – Use these to stab people. It’s for those short-range attacks. Ashtray – Throw and kill! Also damage! Barrels ‘n Boxes – Throw and kill! Also damage! NOTE: Like I told you above, if I missed an item/weapon, please e-mail me! ======================================================================= >Walkthrough/Strategy They made this game a little confusing on how it works. These levels go in different kinds of level numbers, like 1.1 or 1.2. There are also different paths for you to choose. I have explained for you to make it easier (or harder). L1 Car Park - Reception - Lift - Corridor - Zeng’s Office L2 High Street - Truck Driver L3 Bridge - Bronx |FREE| Shopping Mall |100,000 p| Park 1 - Park 2 |150,000 p| L4 Subway Station - Exo L5 Train L6 Naval Base I - Naval Base II - Vulcan |FREE| - Hovercraft Air Base - Flying Wing - JetPac |3000,000 p| - Hovercraft L7 Island Lab - Island Lift – Zeng If this is confusing, don’t look at it, but I just thought it may help some people. Now, for people who want to know exactly how to play this game, look at my walkthrough below. I’ve spent some time on this, on the names and everything, so make sure that you at least look at it. If you have any other suggestions (on your ways), e-mail me, and I’ll create a new section called “Extras.” Note that YOU WILL get credit. |1.1| CAR PARK After the cut scene of your character being dropped off, you’ll start the game. Carl, Floyd, and Dex welcome you. You can kill them off by yourself, or you can get the pistol or iron bar and defeat them that way. They are located on the right of the gate. If you have any extra, destroy the gate. Then go to the police car. Destroy it and out comes a rocket launcher and an engine. If you didn’t destroy the gate yet, you can throw the engine at it. It will not destroy the gate if you haven’t banged on it yet. After it’s busted, run to the rocket launcher. You’ll be greeted by Chuck and Hot Dog. Blow them away and then Strang and H come. Blow them away, too. Hot Dog had a pistol when you blew him away, so if you waste your rockets, get that, otherwise keep your rocket launcher and go through the gate (NOTE: Don’t destroy the gate with the rocket launcher – you won’t get a destruction bonus). After you enter, you will see a truck pull buy. It says Z Corp on the side. Nielsen, Jay, Jack, and Eddie come out. Kill them single-handedly, and then you’ll find Carl, Dex, Leon, and Morris. Now, get a weapon if you want. There are three small boxes to chug at them, to big boxes that you could destroy and get something, an iron bar by the boxes, or you cound destroy the police car and grab the tires or the shotgun. Oh, you can also use the bars along the parking lot. Kill them and then come out Chuck, Samuel, Strang, and Jack. Once you kill them, George, Junior, and Jay come out. Aim for George or Junior first – they are harder. After they are defeated, your are done. Wait until the Destruction Bonus adds up, and then head for the exit. Note that some people hold weapons, but I don’t want to list them. I’m just to lazy… |1.2| RECEPTION If you scored enough points, you’ll have a shotgun to start out with. You’ll meet Carl, Floyd, Chuck, and Dex. Kill them off and then pick up a pistol that one of them left. You’ll meet Dave and Janitor next. Kill and then Spanner and Phil come out. Next in line is Matt, Strang, Henry, and Hot Dog. Next is Jay, Max, Janitor, and Nielsen. They come out from those doors on the side. During this wave of people, there are a few options for you. There is a pop machine, which hold 3 cans of pop and an iron bar if you destroyed it enough. There is an ATM machine by the pop machine that leaves a monitor and a iron bar. You can destroy the two gates on the sides. The right gate (facing toward the entrance) holds an automatic grenade in the left box and a Health Kit in the right one. A fire extinguisher is by the left wall. The other gate holds a grenade and pistol in both boxes. There is also an ashtray by the left gate (facing toward the entrance. Lots of things! After you are done, destroy the two green doors (note that grenades will not count as a destruction bonus). Make sure to throw any weapons you will use down there, because you can’t come back in this area. Now for area two. You’ll meet more freaks. H, Morris, and Carl come out. After defeating one, Dave comes out. After you kill them, grab a pistol that one of them left. Eddie, Dex, and Phil are your next victims. Defeat them and then you’ve beaten this level. Take note that there is another pop machine and ashtray to the left. After defeating the level, wait until the destruction bonus is finished, then exit (you really don’t need to, but I do ). |1.3| LIFT Short, small, and stubborn. You’ll start with a pistol if you scroed enough points. Before any freaks and geeks come out, I have some time to explain the weapons. Break open the glass in the FIRE box contains an axe that will fly out. You can grab the rails on the sides of the lift (four in all). You can use the monitor above as a weapon, but that’s really confusing to get, so just leave it alone. If you want to know, you need to use an attack that will make your character to attack it upwardly. Now for the enemies. 1st Floor – None, you get on 2nd Floor – Carl, Dex, Floyd (Strang, Chuck, Hot Dog from ceiling) 3rd Floor – H, Jay, Jack (Nielsen from ceiling) 4th Floor – Morris, Carl, Eddie (Dex from ceiling) 5th Floor – Dave, Chuck, Janitor 6th Floor – Phil, Jack, Strang (Nielsen and Leon from ceiling) 7th Floor – Junior and Bubba 8th Floor – None, you get off You will find bats and iron bars through enemies. Make sure to wait until the destruction bonus is done, and then wait or exit the level. |1.4| CORRIDOR Finally, the corridor of Zeng’s office! You start out with a pistol if you scored enough points. You’ll be greeted by Dave and Janitor. Kill them off with the pistol or single-handedly. After you kill them, Spanner, Phil, and Matt come rushing out. Kill them and then pick up the pistol. Wait for another line of enemies to come, which are Janitor, Phil, Dave, and Spanner (once again). Shoot them and then after your out of ammo, defeat them single-handedly or get an iron bar from one of the drinking fountains to your right (facing toward the end of the hallway). You’ll have to smash it up to get it. After they are done, make sure to have a pistol or iron bar in hand, because you will meet Bubba and Junior again, from the lift. One has an iron bar in hand. Kill that one first and then kill the other. After that is done, you will then be able to exit the level or wait until it takes you to the next level. Make sure to wait for the destruction bonus to be done before exiting! |1.5| ZENG’S OFFICE Finally your at Zeng’s Office! Now you can show that little – HEY!! Where’s he going? He’s making his getaway on the Z Corp chopper. After he leaves, you’ll meet his “secretaries,” and they are, of course, women. But don’t underestimate them ‘cause they’re girls! These are hard babes to kill, because they have these claws hooked on to their hands. And you cannot have any weapons or destruction bonuses either! The best suggestion is to grab them and do whatever you want to them because they will block tremendously. You’ll be greeted by Storm and Bleach. Kill and then Angel, Beck, and Gina. Once they’re gone, they’ll come back (???) and they’ll bring the back-up, Martina, with them. Once they are gone, you have defeated the level. Wait until the loading is done. |2.1| HIGH STREET This level is set to three parts. First the first part. When you enter, you’ll be greated by Otis. Grab onto him and do something that’ll hurt! Then you’ll catch up with TP, Victor, and Shady. I forget which one, but one person will possibly pick up a metal barrel. When he’s picking it up, run and roll right into him. That’ll knock ‘em out cold! After you kill them, Shady, Blade, and Fear come out. They will pick up those metal barrels, but stop them before they have time! After that wave, Stoney, Lord, and Apollo come up. Kill one and then Louis comes up. Kill them and then get ready for part two. In part two, you’ll see a truck and a taxi almost hit head-on, but the taxi and truck curve and hit something. Run to the truck and you’ll find Janitor and Dave. Kill them and then pick up the pistol. Get ready for a big wave of Byron, Spanner, Pol, Phill, and Scar will come out. One has a knife and one has a pistol. Pick up a knife or pistol (or whatever you have left from these items) and then there will be a helicopter coming your way. Now, there are two ways to do this, one is DEFINITELY easier than the other. One, you can stand still at a place you know the copter can’t aim and shoot you … perfectly. Two, you can run and roll forever until the copter stops shooting. I perfer to do number two, because one you can’t count it a lot. Now come out, for the rest of this part, Clyde, Snake, Nelson, TP, Otis, Blade, Ash, Victor, Shady, Fear, Stoney, Lord, Apollo, and Pol. After they’re all gone, go to part three. Part three starts as another car hits a fire hydrant. Out will come three guys, and each one you kill, another one comes out, until no one comes out. They are Scar, Snake, and Louis that start, and then it goes TP, Ash, Nelson, Shady, Clyde, Byron, Victor, Stoney, and Fear. After that, you are done! The destruction bonus (if you did anything) will come and do its thing, than just wait. Remember that these dudes will carry boxes, barrels, knives, and bottles! |2.2| TRUCK DRIVER You’re first boss! You begin with a cut scene of a big Z Corp truck causing an accident – a big one! Now, remember that this is a boss, and has more life, excuse me, STOP – REWIND … Now, remember that this is a boss, and has WAY more life than an enemy. The best thing is that since this is your first boss, he won’t be terribly difficult, but he is little challenging. Now what you want his is axe. Roll him over and then quickly recover and steal his axe. Slice him three times, and then it’ll go away. When he is down, grab an item and chuck it at him or hit it with him. After he is dead, you have a choice to go to any of these three levels: LEVEL POINTS NEEDED ---------------------------------- Bronx None Shopping Mall 100,000p Park 150,000p After you have chosen a level, wait and then you’ll enter that level. |3.1A| BRIDGE The bridge is the way to get to the Bronx. Destroy the car in the beginning. It holds a pistol in the trunk, and engine in the front, and four tires. Grab any weapon and start chucking them to the following people: Psycho, Spike, Spyder, Nails, Flair, Poison, Ratty, and Stress. After they are all killed, go up the trail and you’ll see some trash cans that you can pick up. Unfortunately, a bus is in your way … but if you get close to it, it’ll blow up, and you’ll find out that a gang blew it up. Al, Pale, and Tiffany will come up to greet you. Show them some muscle! I think Al is the one that holds a rocket launcher, so kill him. After you kill them, grab the rocket launcher. This too has only 4 rockets. Use them wisely!! There will be more people coming up to you, including Shady, Nicole, Widow, Spyder, Nails, Al, Sharly, Stress, Pale, Carrie, Psycho, Lucy, and Spike. After they are killed, take a breather and get the two medical kits from destroying the two boxes … well, if you need it. Continue and then you’ll find a car. Destroy it to find a shotgun and four tires. Get rid of the rest of the gang (the names just repeat themselves like Spyder and Nails, so why bother to name them) to finish the level. |3.2A| BRONX When you enter the level, you’ll see a guy running toward you and then a siren. First, punch the guy so he equals the route that the parked car is aimed at. After a while, the parked car will get moving and run over the guy if you did it right. After that, Psycho and Otis come out to play, including Victor. Kill them and then pick up the iron bar. Hit it with Blade, Spike, and Shady. After they die, you have a choice of having a baseball bat or keeping the iron bar. After you made your decision, go to the fences. You can pick up the two small boxes to throw them, you can destroy the big box and get a medical kit, and then defeat Nails, Apollo, and Spyder. Kill them and then you’ll find another iron bar. Replace your iron bar or baseball with this. Now you’ll meet Fear, Ratty, and Louis. They come in right after. If you go further into the Bronx, you’ll find stuff to fight with, like a small box, trash can, a piece of thin metal, a baseball bat, or you could heal your life with a medical kit under the box. Kill them and then go to the bypass. This bypass has a train going by it. Whatever you do, DO NOT DESTROY THE CAR! You’ll waste time and then you’ll find grenades that some weirdo threw out of the train above whenever it comes by. Just run under the bypass. After you ran under it, keep on going until you meet Al, Stoney, Byron, Stress, Psycho, Clyde, Pale, and Lord as your final eight. You’ll find weapons by there, too. After they are dead, you’ll be done and now you’ll go to the Subway station (in 4.1) |3.1B| SHOPPING MALL A pretty good sized level, and it’s only one of these, so that saves my hands a little. Anyway, TP, Carl, and Otis come to reck the day for you. After they are gone, Victor, Dex, and Floyd come, then Phil and Janitor. One of them hold a pistol, so make sure to pick that up, and shoot Chuck and Dave. You probably want some stuff to save you. Well, there are bottles on the tables. Just kick the table for the bottle to fly off. You could also kick the chairs to them to give them a piece of your mind. If you need life, go to the hot dog stand and destroy it for a couple of hot dogs to munch on. After you are done in this part, enter the sliding doors. The people that greet you in this part are Shady, Spanner, Hot Dog, Janitor, Henry, and Matt. There are no weapons in this part, so kill a person that has one. Then enter the sliding door to the left for the next part. Part three has bottles, knives, and guns in it, so be lucky. You first meet Jack, Strang, and Dave. Then it’s Phil, H, and Spanner. Matt, Fear, and Blade are the final ones that come out. Grab a weapon and enter the sliding doors to the final part. Part four has a nice car on display, but destroy it for 4 tires. You can destroy the two pillars by the car, the one on the right has a timed grenade in it. Eddie, Henry, and Jay greet you, then it’s Janitor, Apollo, and Stoney. Dave, Nielsen, and Phil are your final. Remember that there are two bottles by the pillars, and the enemies hold knives (but not all of them). The destrutciton bonus will add up, and then you’ll be done, and to move on to the subway. |3.1C| PARK 1 & 2 Why don’t you take a stroll in the park … with baddies! (((((((((( UNDER CONSTRUCTION )))))))))) This walkthrough is not done (due to time), so I’ll get MOST of it finished in the next version. ======================================================================= >FAQ These are all those Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about this game, Fighting Force 64.
