Characters Name: Buster Bunny Warner Figure: Bugs Bunny Bio: Buster is the star of the show, Tiny Toon Adventures. His attitude is always positive and his athletic skills are unmatched. Specials: Soccer Offensive: Stardust Shot. When Buster has the ball, press C and he'll start running. If you press A, you'll kick the ball with massive velocity, dizzying anyone it touches. If you press C, you'll stop running. (After shooting, his energy bar will completely be depleted.) Defensive: Stardust Sprint. Press C to have Buster start running really fast. If you press C again, you'll stop running and slide. Basketball Offensive: Stardust Shot. Like soccer, if you press C when Buster has the ball, he'll start running towards his net. Press A during the run to jump and shoot. The accuracy of this shot is low. Defensive: Stardust Sprint. Press C to have Buster start running really fast. If you press C again, you'll stop running and slide. Plucky starts flapping his wings and takes flight if you press C. While flying, Anvils will fall from the sky. You can see their shadows before they land. If Plucky gets hit by one, he'll get smashed. However, Plucky's beak will carry the ball straight towards the goal. If you press C again, Plucky will land. (Getting hit with an anvil completely depletes Plucky's energy bar) Defensive: The Anvil Chorus Part 2. If you press C, Plucky takes flight and the anvils start dropping. You can try to land anvils on your opponents. If anyone else gets hit with an anvil, they lose some of their energy. Plucky will still lose all of his energy if he gets hit. Name: Hampton J. Pig Warner Figure: Porky Pig Bio: Hampton loves to be neat and hates to be dirty. He may be the only one to be able to out eat Dizzy. Specials Soccer Offensive: Ball Hog. Hold C to have Hampton engulf the ball and he'll bounce around the field. If you press A while bouncing, he'll storm towards the goal, dizzying everyone that he hits. Unlike other Specials, Hampton doesn't lose all of his energy after shooting. Defensive: Hampton has no defensive special. Basketball Offensive: Ball Hog. Press the C button and Hampton engulfs the basketball. He bounces around. Press A to have him bound towards the net. Press A again while he's in mid-air to have him drop the ball. Timing is critical. Name: Furball the Cat Warner Figure: Sylvester (the Cat) Bio: Down on his luck, Furball is usually homeless but sometimes he's one of Elmyra's pets. He's friendly but he can't talk. No Defensive Special Name: Lil' Beeper Warner Figure: Road Runner Bio: Just like the Road Runner, Lil' Beeper is fast. And I mean FAST. Specials Soccer Offensive: Super Sonic Shot. When Beeper has the ball, press C and he'll start running. If you press A, you'll kick the ball with massive velocity, dizzying anyone it touches. If you press C, you'll stop running. (After shooting, his energy bar will completely be depleted.) Defensive: Super Sprint. Press C to have Beeper start running really fast. If you press C again, you'll stop running and slide. Basketball Offensive: Speedy Shot. Like soccer, if you press C when Beeper has the ball, he'll start running towards his net. Press A during the run to jump and shoot. The accuracy of this shot is actually kind of high. Defensive: Sprint. Press C to have Beeper start running really fast. If you press C again, you'll stop running and slide. Name: Calamity Coyote Warner Figure: Wile E. Coyote (super Genius) Bio: Calamity is super smart but lacks common sense. He tries to catch Lil' Beeper but can't. Specials (All of his specials are the same) The Robot Walker. Press C to have Calamity summon a robot. Press A to release little mini robots that home in on the ball. If they touch it, they will shoot the ball towards the goal. Press B to have the robot jump. You can stomp on your opponents and allies. (Do NOT stomp on Plucky while he has the ball. He will end up doing his special shot where his beak flies toward the goal.) Press C to stop using the robot. There is a time limit and a 'little mini robot' limit. If time runs out or if you use too many robots, the Robot Walker will explode and Calamity will become dizzy. Name: Fifi LeFume Warner Figure: Pepe Le Pew Bio: Fifi is one of those enamored girls with a French accent. However, being a skunk, she has a very strong odor. Specials Basketball and Soccer Offensive: The Sweet Shot. Press C to have Fifi shoot the ball with a purple cloud surrounding it. If it touches anyone, it will hurt. A lot. If she catches one, she'll hug and squeeze and squeeze the energy out of the unlucky player. If you hug the player with the ball, the ball will shoot towards her goal. She can grab her own teammates. Press C again to stop. Name: Montana Max Warner Figure: Yosemite Sam Bio: He's rich and you're not. So understand your problem. This spoiled brat is the best in his own mind. Specials Soccer Mad Max: Press C to have Max summon a car. If you press A or B, he'll shoot the ball towards the goal, followed by a trail of dollars. Basketball Mad Max: Press C to have Max summon a car. Press A to shoot the ball. This is VERY accurate. Monty's Playroom Special If you're playing in Monty's Playroom, he gets a different special. Air-pain: Monty hops into a flying airplane. Press A to drop Anvils on your foes. All defensive. ----------------- 4. Stages There are 5 stages to chose from when playing Basketball or Soccer. Stadium - This stage is designed for fair play. There are no obstacles to worry about. Western - Occasionally, a pair of wooden barrels will roll down the screen, squashing anyone in their path. Also, there are horses positioned on the northwest and southeast part of the field. Getting near one will prompt it to kick you into the air for damage. Forest - The only thing to worry about are the patches of grass that will trip you up. Downtown - Like the forest, there are puddles of oil that will trip you up. Monty's Playroom - This can be a real pain in the neck of a stage. Little cars on a race track will speed around on their tracks, causing massive damage to those in the way. Also, there are trains that go around the train tracks that will trip you up. When you score, there is a little wheel of numbers that activate. Whatever it lands on is what your point will be worth. In soccer, you can score 0-3 points. In basketball, you can score 2,3,5 or 0. If you make a three pointer, you can get 3,5, or 0. (The little picture of Max is 0.) 5. Soccer You play for 2 three minute half's unless you change the time limit in the Option menu. ------- Basic Offensive Controls Control Pad - Moves you character with the '1p' over him/her. ('2p' is you are the second player) A- Shoots the ball. If you hold an arrow, you can control the direction the ball goes. B - Passes the ball to the character with 'Hey' over his/her head. C - Activates Special Ability ------- Basic Defensive Control A - While standing still to do a Slam attack. You will slam into the person you are next to for damage to yourself and the person you hit. B - Switches which character you are controlling. C - Activates your Special Ability -------- Advanced Offensive Controls The Head First slide - When the ball is free near the goal, press an arrow and the A button to slide head first into the ball. The High Shot - If you are standing in the corner and press B while one of your teammates is standing near the goal, you'll kick the ball into the air. It's a good setup like the Corner Kick. Flip Kick - Press B after a Corner Kick or The High Shot to have your character jump into the air and kick the ball. It takes some timing. Header - Press A after a Corner Kick or The High Shot to have your character hit the ball with his/her head. Not as effective as the Flip Kick or the Head First slide. --------- Advanced Defensive Controls Slide - Press an arrow and the A button to slide and attempt to take down the opponents. You lose some stamina for this. --------- Other Soccer Stuff After a goalie stops a few shots, they'll become tired. (Note the sweat marks). After becoming tired, the goalie will become KO'd if he/she takes a hard shot to the head. If the score is tied after two half's, you will have to have a shoot out, where you'll take turns shooting at your opponent's goalie. It's rather impossible to fool the computer but it can be done. 6. Basketball You'll play 4 3-minute quarters here. Score more than your opponent's team can. ------ Basic Offensive Controls Control Arrows - Move the player where you want to. A - Jump in the air. Press A again to shoot. If you press B in mid-air, you'll pass the ball. B - Passes the ball C - Activates your Special Ability ---- Basic Defensive Controls A - While standing still to do a Slam attack. You will slam into the person you are next to for damage to yourself and the person you hit. Arrow + A - Steals the ball from the person who has it if you are close enough. B - Changes who you are controlling C - Activates your Special Ability ----- Other Stuff If you shoot the ball from behind the 3-point line, you'll score a three pointer. (really?) You can slam dunk the ball if you jump and press A when really close to the hoop. It will say 'Nice Shot'. 7. Obstacle Course You have to run 4 laps faster than the rest of the group. ---- Controls ---- Press any button to run. You can use the arrows to move around (while pressing any button). ---- Other Stuff ---- There are little action buttons around the course, mostly in the last stretch. The stars give you the ability to kick while running. The sprint allows you to run abit faster. The arrows switches your position. If you fall behind and off the screen, you get a +1 second penalty. 8. Bowling Try to knock down more pins and score more points than your opponents. There are 5 frames. --- Controls --- First, use the arrows to increase/decrease the speed of the ball. Use Up and Down to move your character up or down. Press A or C to select. Then, press A or C when the arrow is in the direction that you want to roll. Press B to undo. ---- Other Stuff ---- The Special Bowl - If you go full strength and aim the ball straight, something odd may happen to the ball. If it does, then you'll know that you hit a Special Bowl and all the pins WILL fall. Scoring - The scoring in bowling in general is odd so bare with me. If you knock down all the pins on your first ball, you'll get a Strike. A strike is worth ten points. Also, the Strike will add on to the score in the next frame. For example, if you get a Strike in the first frame and then get 6 pins in the second, you'll have 16 points in the first frame and a total of 22 points (10 + 6 + 6). If you knock down all the pins on your second ball in the frame, you'll get a Spare. A spare is worth ten points like a strike. However, it will only add the score you get in the first roll of the next frame. For example, you get a Spare in the first frame and a 3 on the first roll of the second frame. You'd have a score of 13 in the first frame, and a score of 16 in the middle of the second frame (10 + 3 + 3). If you keep getting strikes, you'll get special names: Strike, Double, Turkey, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Perfect. A perfect game is 150 points. The last frame is different from the first four. If you manage to knock down all the pins, you'll get another roll (for up to 3 rolls). 9. Montana Hitting Run around using the arrows and press A to swing your large mallet. Point System Montana Max - +100 points Dizzy Devil - -100 points Elmyra - -300 points 10. Story Mode In Story Mode, you are forced to pick from Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck and Hampton J. Pig. Stage One ---- Event: Soccer Opponents: Dizzy, Fifi and Furball with Calamity as Goalie. Court: Stadium Stage Two ----- Event: Basketball Opponents: Montana Max, Shirley the Loon, and Calamity Court: Western Stage Three ----- Event: Montana Mash Opponents: Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck and Hampton Pig Stage Four ----- Event: Soccer Opponents: Elmyra, Calamity and Dizzy with Fifi as Goalie. Court: Forest Stage Five ----- Event: Basketball Opponents: Montana Max, Furball, Dizzy Court: Downtown Stage Six ----- Event: Obstacle Course Opponents: Babs Bunny, Montana Max and Lil' Beeper Stage Seven ----- Event: Soccer Opponents: Lil' Beeper, Fifi, and Dizzy with Elmyra as Goalie Court: Stadium Stage Eight ----- Event: Bowling Opponents: Dizzy, Elmyra and Montana Max Final Stage ----- Event: Basketball Opponents: Elmyra, Lil' Beeper and Montana Max Court: Max's Playroom 11. General Stuff/Hints Those little bars on the bottom are your stamina bars. If you lose a lot, your character will sweat. While you are sweating, you cannot perform a Special Ability. If you lose all of your energy, you'll be more likely to be KO'd. When playing Montana in Bowling during Story Mode, he'll cheat. A lot. He'll make the pins explode, even if he rolls a gutter ball. Even if Babs wins the Obstacle Course in Story Mode, it won't count unless you, Buster, wins. When choosing a team for Story Mode, Buster can be a good goalie as well as Babs. Pick the team that you work best with. By the way. . . Bookworm is the little worm that selects your modes at the title screen. Sweety is the pink bird that selects Team One's participants. Sneezer is the young mouse that selects Team Two's participants. Gogo Dodo is the referee for all games. He also drops bombs on you as you play Montana Mash. And Sports FAQs are entirely too hard to write. 12. Legal Info ----- Legal Information This is a copyrighted work from Delbert Harris (2002). Any usage of this FAQ not noted by its author is banned.
