After you pass a thick pillar supporting the dock you are running on, some cannonballs will break through the dock and if you fall in you will die. After the second thick supporting pillar all of the planks will fall after you pass. Scuttle Town Siege Go right and keep an eye out for large cannonballs as they will spawn more enemies, but you can destroy them. Look for large hearts in rooms with windows along the the lowest level throughout this area. Use awnings, balconies, and rooftops to continue right. When you come to it you will see two enemies ramming the wall in the background. This banging alternated platforms going in and out. You must use these platforms to go up before you can continue right. You will be stopped and see enemies take something out of a building. To the right you will have to stand on the different looking platforms to crack and break them so you can go down. Go right and when you see a stack of crates, use them to jump onto a ship and enter into a boss fight. Boss: Watch out for the cannonballs. When the door opens to release some enemies you need to attack the bomb inside. After a few hits it will explode and you will land on the left of three pillars. Now you need to attack the bombs before the enemies can throw them at you. Once you have damaged all three hatched you have won. Scuttle Town Each town has a shop, a bath house (refill life by going into water), a Warp Squid Hut (return with four Warp Squids from labyrinths to learn a spell to teleport you to that town), and another building. For most towns the other building is plot related, but for this town it is the Dance Parlor, and that is the fastest way to get money. It is day when you start, and the Dance Parlor is only open at night. First you should buy Vanish Cream. Go to Scarecrow Field and kill some enemies if you need more crystals. When ready go to the town gates. To the right is Scarecrow Field, and to the left is Naga Wasteland. Go left. Naga Wasteland Continue left, crawl through the small passage, and go down the ladder. To the left is an enemy that drops a wall when you get near. Use the Vanish Cream to walk past it and get Heart Holder[1]. I suggest going to Scarecrow Field and farming enemies until it is night, then making use of the Dance Parlor until you have at least 300. When you are ready go right. Scarecrow Field As you continue right you will pass three small pillars. If it is night when you reach the next set of platforms you can jump up them to find a Firefly[1]. To the right of that is a higher platform you cannot reach yet with a Heart Holder on it. Continue right into the next area. Spider Forest Keep going right and keep an eye out for spiders dropping from trees. At the right edge of this area is a figure. Talk to him to find it is a save point. Go right. Dribble Fountain There is nothing to do here, continue right. Waterfall Make your way right, but be mindful of the many gaps (death) and enemies that pop out of the background. Water Town Enter the town and go to the shop. You should buy the boot. If you want the other fighter gear you can farm crystals or only come back when you have enough. Either way, I will not bring them up again. Water Town also has a Firefly Shrine. Inside is a spell, but it is too dark to read. When you have collected all 12 it will be bright enough to read. Go to Bolo's Gazebo and talk to him. When ready, go back through the Waterfall area and on to the next area. Dribble Fountain When you arrive Bolo will open the entrance to the labyrinth, so go in. Drop down the shaft and go right. There is a Warp Squid in this room, but you cannot reach it until later in the game. Go right into another tall shaft. This one has platforms that will shock you periodically. Drop to the bottom and go left. A gate will close behind you forcing you to beat the enemy in this room. Once beaten, continue left. This room has an upper and lower path. The upper path has some breakable pots along a crawl path. The lower has two enemies and a Warp Squid[1] in the center of the room. Take either path and go left to the next room. This room has several moving platforms. Use them to reach the left side for a 1 up, then up to the top. Take note of the tile with three symbols in the background before falling down the gap in the floor beneath the tile. To the right is a stack of three stones with symbols on it. Attack the symbol blocks until it matches the pattern on the tile above and it will drop an item you need to attack to get a key[1]. Go right to another gap in the floor and go back to the second shaft. Go up and right to use your key. Hold B and run over the small platforms and gaps. Jump over the shaft and continue right. In the next room follow the path up and left. You will find another symbol tile. Go left to find the symbol spinner. A key will pop out but fall down a gap in the floor, so you need to follow it down. Get the Key[2] and a 1 up to the left before going right. Go right again. Zig-zag your way down this room, and at the bottom watch the enemy as it shows you a hidden path to the left. After killing it, go right to get Warp Squid[2]. Go left over the platforms to the next room. Continue left, avoiding the fireballs from the statue heads and use your key on the lock to get to the next room. The door will shut behind you and you will see another symbol spinner. Attack the top block to knock it off the stack. Go left, work your way up, and through the door on the left. Defeat the enemy and it will drop a key[3]. Go back and unlock the gate to the right. You will find anther symbol tile, along with a pot and a Warp Squid atop high platforms. A little further you will see another lock and a symbol spinner. Attack the top block to knock it off and attack to push it to the floor and then down a gap beneath a platform. Continue to push the block and it will fall onto the first symbol spinner, where you can now input the code from the tile to get another key[4]. Circle up and right to use the key to enter the next room where another genie is imprisoned. She will teach you a dance to transform into a monkey. Press Select to enter dance mode and watch the music note and four stars. Input the commands when the note and first star are lit. The monkey can jump slightly higher, but mainly it can cling to, climb, and jump off of walls. Use the monkey for to escape the room. Before changing back (by pressing Select) get the Warp Squid[3] and pot. Go left to the next room and use monkey to climb up to get the two pots (large heart and a 1 up) that were below the first Warp Squid. Go right, up, and take the first right. Run over the small platforms and gaps again. Use monkey to grab onto and climb up the center stone column to a hidden chamber. Continue up to another chamber to find a Warp Squid[4]. Drop down to the top of the shaft and go back over the small platforms and gaps to the left. Change to monkey, go all the way up to the top of this shaft, and go right. The door will shut behind you and you must beat the two enemies. Go right into a small room, and right again into the boss room. Boss: It is really easy, just attack its eye when it is stationary and dodge when it is spinning. With the labyrinth clear you should head back to Water Town. Drop off your Warp Squids to learn the teleportation dance before heading back to Scuttle Town. On your way back you can grab the Heart Holder[2] in the Scarecrow Field, and if you did not get it before the Firefly that is above the platform to the left of the Heart Holder. From Scuttle town head left. Naga Wasteland Keep going left until you see the second ladder and go down. The other end of this is a passage that connects to a different area. Ladies Desert The right side of this area does not connect to anywhere making it a dead end, so you must continue left. Oasis Town Go to Sky's Hatchery and talk with her. Once that is done head back through the Ladies Desert to the underground passage and return to the Naga Wasteland. From there go left to the next area. Mens Desert Continue left to the Golem Mine. To the left of that is a save point. When you are ready talk to Wrench who will open the door. Attack the wheel at the top to call the platform of this elevator. Go down to the first branch, but both paths are blocked by rocks. Going down you will see a Warp Squid on the left but cannot get from this side. The second branch has both paths blocked with locked gates. Go down a little more to see more windows, and on the right side is a false wall you can pass through to grab Warp Squid[1]. The bottom of the elevator shaft has two options with a color changing area, red on the left, and blue on the right. Take the right (blue) path. The door will shut behind you. Kill the two enemies on top, but the enemy along the bottom will only move away from you. Use that to push it to either side of the room and open the doors before continuing right. Cross this room on the hanging lanterns, change your color to red, drop down for a jar with a 1 up, and go back. The enemy at the bottom of the room will now be attracted to you. Kill it to get a key[1]. Return to the elevator and go up. Unlock the right path and go that way. In this room the enemies will zap you if you go under them. There is a hidden path up to their area you can use to kill them and avoid the damage. Go right and down, changing colors as needed to reach the bottom. Here there are both color changers and a hidden monkey path above, which allows you to freely change your color. You need to be red, and lure the enemy to the lower area so you can kill it, claiming another key[2]. Go left into the next room and open the lock. Go left and up into a hidden path left, then down to find a guardian genie, who teaches you the elephant transformation. In this form you have a limited jump, but can ram enemies and objects. Go right, change your color to blue and use monkey to climb back up. Go the elevator room. Change your color to red. Go up to the first level, smash the rocks on the right, and go through the door. The doors lock behind you until you kill the enemy (use elephant). Go right the door will shut behind you. Kill the usual enemy for a key[3], and the large enemy to open the door. Go back to the elevator and go to the room on left side. Go to the left side of the room, passing over the gap. Take the hidden path in the left side of the room to the upper area, where you can kill the enemies, and at the end is a Warp Squid[3]. Go down to the bottom of the shaft and kill the rock enemy to get a key[4]. The path to the right leads to the elevator room, and the room to the left has a lock with a room where you can get a key beyond that. Save the time and don't bother with it. Change into monkey and climb up the shaft. Slide down the right side, and there is enough of a ledge for you to stand on and change to elephant. Smash the rocks and go right to get the Warp Squid[2] you saw from the elevator. Go to the bottom left side of the main elevator shaft and take that door. In this room use elephant to ram the elephant statue to knock down some rocks to use as platforms. On the other side you can see a Warp Squid above you, but can't reach yet. Go left and open the lock. Below is a short elevator. Take it down and open another lock. Smash through some rocks and go through the door to the boss room. Boss: Another easy one to beat. Change into elephant, jump on its fists, and at the top ram its head. Jump onto its head. A crystal will pop up, so ram it as fast as you can. Reenter the Golem Mine, go down, left, break the rocks, and go left. The door closes behind you, so kill the big enemy to unlock it and kill the small one for a key. In the upper left corner is a false wall where a Warp Squid[4] can be found. We are done for now, so exit. Because the next town moves around it can be hard to get to, I recommend saving your warp squids for the Zombie Caravan. Be sure to have some Storm Puffs. Your next destination is far to the right, so head that way. Spider Forest At the first tree stump you come to change to the elephant and ram it to reveal a ladder. That ladder is a shortcut, but the other end is still blocked, so continue right to the Waterfall area. Waterfall Below the entrance is a ladder, take it to a forest area. Go left and ram the stump to open the other end of the shortcut. Continue left and crawl through the log. Take that path to another forest area. Go up the left wall and ram the stump at the top for another ladder. Go down and use a Storm Puff on the stationary enemy. Crawl past and claim the Monkey Claw Talisman. Now continue on to Water Town and go right. Rain Storm Continue right over the gaps. Above the second pillar after the first set of gaps you can find Firefly[2]. Continue right to the next area. Snail Wasteland The snails will hide in their shells at night. Continue right. Climb the second (middle) set of rock platforms. Just right of the highest rock you can find a Firefly[3]. Go right and climb the third (right) set of rock platforms. At the top is a rock that you can break with elephant to reveal a ladder. That passage is a shortcut, but the other end needs to be opened. Continue right. Swamp Zombies will rise from larger platforms. You will pass Crackle Mound as you continue right, and there is a save point beyond that. Ghost Forest Go right until you find a stump. Use elephant to ram it, revealing a ladder. This is the other end of the short cut in the Snail Wasteland. Take the trees up, change to monkey, go right to a wall, and up into a small alcove that holds a Firefly[4]. Drop down, change to elephant, and ram the wall to open it. To the right is another wall you need to ram. You need to wait until night to get to where you need to go. Zombie Caravan When ready enter the wagon labeled 'Keep Out' and speak with Rottytops. You need to win a race against her. Race controls: hold Right to run. Press Down to slide. Press A to jump. The course is the same every time, so you can memorize the pattern until you win. You don't have to have a perfect run, but you have to do the latter half without error to catch up and overtake her. Get some mints before leaving, and go right. Archer Forest Being mindful of the ramps into pits, go right until you see a stump and ram it to reveal a ladder. Go down and you will find a clown blocking a path. Use a mint and press Select to dance, which will get rid of clown so you can get a Heart Holder[3]. Go to the entrance to Crackle Mound in the Swamp. Go up and with monkey grab a Warp Squid[1]. Stay at the top and go right. Pass into the next room and go down the zig-zag slide. Go right and right again. In this room is a statue and a jar on the left. The object in the jar is an eye for the statue and you must attack it so that it will bounce into the socket in the statue. When that is done a key[1] will pop out of the statue's mouth. Go back to the bottom of the zig-zag slide, go left and use the key to get past a lock. In the next room you will see a gap. You need to go down this long shaft and will see spikes along both walls. At the bottom you will see a block with the same kind of eye you knocked into the statue. The direction changes and indicates which way the block will move when you stand on it. Go right and use these eye blocks to go all the way right and get a 1 up from the jar. When you try to go back you are taken up and right to a Warp Squid[2]. The path continues up and left to another eye statue with key[2] and a gap in the floor leads to the start of the eye block room. Go back to the shaft and ride the eye block back up. Go left and you will be in the shaft near the entrance. Continue left, unlock the gate, and get past another enemy. In the next room are more eye blocks. Go a little left, then up, then left to a 1 up, and into another room. Here is another eye statue, but you need to get the eye into the statue, hit it out and then back in until it drops the key[3]. Go back and go down, then left to another long shaft with spikes on both walls. Go down it and right to unlock a gate. Go right and when you see the eye block take it up through a false ceiling to find a Warp Squid[3] before going left. Go up and left to find another eye statue that gives another key[4]. Go back down and right to unlock a gate. Climb up and beat the enemy to open the path down. Here you will find a mini-boss. Beat it to continue down. At the bottom go left to find a genie who teaches you the spider transformation. The spider can cling to webs and other background types then use them to climb. Go back and climb the webs to reach the doorway right, which leads to the bottom of the first spike shaft. As soon as you go through the door change to monkey and follow the arrow in the background up for a Warp Squid[4]. Take the eye block up and go left to the shaft by the entrance. Go to the upper right and back to the room with the zig-zag slide. This time use spider to climb the webs to the top right side and use the door there. In the next room is a statue with two eye sockets and two eye jars. You need to get both eyes in and have both eyes pointing up for it to drop a key[5]. Go left a few rooms to the shaft by the entrance and take the door in the upper left. In the upper left side of this room use spider to climb some webs and open the lock above. Go right and enter the boss room. Boss: The boss converts into a wheel and circles the perimeter of the room after you hit is a few times. The spider can press the buttons in the background to open sections of the floor for a short time. The boss will walk into the pits and take damage, or you can kill it with normal attacks. The Zombie Caravan can appear in several locations around the map, so keep that in mind if you warp to it. When ready make your way left. Snail Wasteland Go to left side of this area and the first (left) set of rock platforms that were of reach. Use spider and crawl up the background rock, use monkey to get up the side of the platform, and elephant to ram a rock revealing a ladder. Take that passage to end up in the Waterfall area. Waterfall Use monkey to clime above the ladder to find a Firefly[5]. Stay as monkey, go left and up to another ladder. Go down the pit, and just to the right you will find the Elephant Tote Talisman. Holding down when jumping will generate a small shock to both sides. The exit is blocked so you must go bask to Snail Wasteland and go back to the Waterfall area. As soon as you re-enter this area change to spider and follow the path up to a rock. Change to elephant and ram it to open the path where you just were, completing the shortcut. Go all the way to the left, but before leaving the area go down and use spider to climb up and get a Firefly[6] you may have seen before just below the left entrance/exit. Now go into Dribble Fountain. Dribble Fountain Open the gate, go down the shaft, and go right. In the middle of this room change to spider, climb up, and grab the last Warp Squid[5] in this place. Head back out and continue left. Spider Forest Go to the large hill with two slippery sides and spider up to the top to grab a Heart Holder[4]. Now go to Naga Wasteland. Naga Wasteland Go left of the second ladder (which leads to Ladies Desert) and you will see spikes along both walls of the path up. Use spider and monkey to get to the top where a Firefly[7] can be found. Go to Oasis Town and continue left to the next area. Mud Bog Climb the right side of first rock platforms you see. On the right side of the upper section you will find Firefly[8] On the left side of the first rock platform is an area to ram with the elephant to reveal a ladder. Go down and in front of the pit use a Float Muffin to bounce across and grab a Heart Holder[5]. Back out and continue left. Use elephant to open a blocked path and go left to the next area. Eagle Wasteland Use spider and monkey to get above the entrance to find a Firefly[9]. Continue left along the bottom into the next area. Bandit Town There is a building in this town called Advanced Genies. If the game is being played on a Gameboy Advance then the guy here will teach a dance for 500 crystals. Go to a building called The Rusty Gullet and talk to the Bandit Town Genie there. When ready exit the town and go right. Eagle Wasteland Go to the upper part of this area and take that path left to the next area. Mount Pointy Make your way up by avoiding the slippery slope of the mountain side. At the top Bandit Town Genie will open the door, so go in. Twinkle Palace Entrance=E Warp Squid=S Lock=L Genie=G Boss=B Space=X ___ ___| | |S L|B__| ___ | |_______|_| | _____ |L| |__S__| |_| | |_|_| _____| |XXXXX| | ______________| |_ _|G| |_| |_|XXX| | |E | _|__S__|_|_|____ | |X| |XXXXX| |_ |____| |L| |____|_|_| | |X| |_| |X| | |_________| |S| S | |_____|__L| |_|______|L|___|______|_____| The first room is large with an enemy trapped in ice. The door shuts, so you need to ram the enemy to free it and kill it to open the door. In the next room go up and right. The door will shut behind you. Beat the enemy and continue right. You will see a Warp Squid you can't get yet, so continue on. Spider will not be able to take you up so go right. In this room are four large tiles and a key in ice. Attack the tiles to spin them and make the image whole (the center looks to be a large eye, in case that helps), and when it is you get key[1]. Go back the way you came, and take the lower right door. Past the small slide is a lock you can now pass. You will see a spinning object. When you jump into these it will hold you for a short time. Press any direction and it will launch you in that direction. You can only interact with these when in human form. There is one at the bottom to get you back up in case you make a mistake. From the start press R, U, and drift left as you fall to grab Warp Squid[1]. Use monkey to check the left wall by the indent to find a falls wall to Warp Squid[2]. Launch yourself R D L U R U R to get to the upper right door. Go right, grabbing the 1 up in the upper left and another at the lower right end of the room. In the next room the doors will shut and there is another frozen enemy to beat. At the end is another tile room where you get key[2]. Go back to the launcher room and take the lower left door. The shaft in the ceiling leads back to the entrance, so continue left. Pass through the next room. Here use your key to open a lock. This room is the second launcher room. Sliding down gets you nowhere. Use monkey to climb up above the gate to a hidden path with launchers. Press U L D L D L U to reach a hidden path leading left. The door shuts behind you and there is another enemy to fight. The next room is a shaft. Go up and take the door to the right for another spinning tile room and get key[3]. In the lower left side of the shaft is a lock you can now pass. It's another enemy room, but you need to use a hidden path in the left gap of the floor to reach the ice block. The next room is the third launcher room, and this one has lots of spikes on the walls, floor, and on blocks so choose carefully. There is only one launcher you can reach so it is the staring point. Press U L U R R, you will hit a wall but drift left to get into the next launcher then press U U L to reach a door to the left. Drop down the short shaft to find the genie who teaches you the Harpy transformation. The harpy has the ability to fly by pressing A repetitively to flap its wings, but be careful as it has some momentum whenever it moves. Return to the launcher room, jump to the one by the door and press R D L D D and you will be right next to the door. Go back to the shaft, fly up past the spiked walls, and take the door on the right. Take the small path below the door to find a hidden rout where you can get Warp Squid[3]. Go right. This room connects down to the second launcher room, but continue right. Go up and left to a spinning tile room and get key[4]. Go back to the shaft in the second launcher room, take the shaft down and go right. In the first launcher room and fly up to get Warp Squid[4]. Fly up the spike shaft above that and go right into another enemy room. Beyond that is the last spinning tile room where you get key[5]. Go down and left to the second launcher room. Fly over to the platforms you passed earlier to get two 1 ups. Take the shaft up and go left. Go left, and in the spike shaft take the top left door. Unlock the gate and go up. At the top of the left wall is Warp Squid[5]. Use the last key to open the lock and go right for the boss room. Boss: What you need to do is fly above him and land on his head. After the third time he will fall to the ground, allowing you a chance to attack. Once you know what to do, it is not a hard fight. Mount Pointy Fly to the left, following the mountain and you will find a save point. On the way you will spot Firefly[10] if it is night. Fly up from the save point to the top of the map and a little to the left to find a Heart Holder[6]. Head back to Bandit Town to drop off your Warp Squids. Now is the time to backtrack and collect items. Start by going right to Mud Bog. Mud Bog Fly right until you come to the three huge mushrooms next to each other. On top of the middle one you will find the Spider Venom Talisman. This allows the spider to shoot globs of venom. Mens Desert Fly up from the first large sand dune to find a Heart Holder[7]. Continue left into the Golem Mine. Golem Mine Work your way down and take the elevator all the way to the bottom. Go left, and on the far side of the lava pit, fly up to get Warp Squid[5]. Now head to Scarecrow Field. Scarecrow Field When you see the three small pillars, fly up to find the Harpy Talon Talisman. Next go to Crackle Mound. Crackle Mound Go right to the shaft room and take the upper right door. Go right into the zig-zag room. Slide to the bottom, change to harpy, fly up to an alcove on the right to get Warp Squid[5]. Exit the labyrinth and go right. Ghost Forest From the left end of the area stand between the first two trees and fly up. Look in the alcove to the left to find Firefly[11]. Go right. Archer Forest Go right and fly over the large pit. Go to the top of the stone pillars to find the last Firefly[12]. With the last Firefly gained, return to Water Town and learn the final dance, which heals your hearts for the cost of 10 crystals per heart. With everything collected its back to the plot, so return to Scuttle Town. Scuttle Town Go to Mimic's Dock and speak with him. His clue does not help much. What you should do is warp to Oasis Town and go right. Ladies Desert Continue right and at the first large sand dune fly up to a floating platform and in human form press B to use the Spy Scope. It will send you to the island you spot. Tinkerbat Factory If you want to go back, stand in the light left of your staring position. This area is a long gauntlet not a labyrinth, so keep moving right all the way to the end. When the two tinkerbats go up in a crow's nest, ram the poll twice once they are out of sight to break it. Change to monkey and follow the pipes in the wall. At the end jump up to a pipe that loads you into a cannon. Shoot yourself up to a ledge on the top right, and ram another crow's nest. You will come to a section with spikes on the floor, ceiling, and grates in the background. If you die or Game Over you will respawn here. Change to spider and proceed. At the end of the hall is another cannon pipe at the top. Once on the ledge above the second cannon, continue right to another set of pipes. The path branches into five. The two on the left lead t a chamber with a large heart. The one on the right is a dead-end. The two others lead to the pipe leading down. Go right and ram the door until it opens. When ready enter the final boss room. Boss: You need to fly up to the top of the head and drop down to the chest. Take the narrow path into one of the arms and attack the gear in the shoulder. The orb will change back to normal, but you need to go back and destroy it. That will open the path to the lower part of the arm, where you can destroy another gear. Do this to the other arm, then return to the lower part of the chest and destroy the last two former orbs. A shield will open and you can now attack it. Part 2: This boss has three phases depending on health. It can be tricky to deal damage, but you need to do so when the boss is standing still. The spider's venom attack is an easy way to score hits. The first phase is rather simple, You know you are in the second phase when the boss starts using different attacks. When the hat is knocked off you have reached the third phase, again with new attacks. Once this boss is beaten you have to navigate a vertical flying section and avoid fireballs. Need Spider. Golem Mine 1 - False wall in right side of elevator shaft. 2 - Above 3, false wall on the left leads up to it. 3 - Seen from the elevator, smash rocks and go through false wall. 4 - Just below the entrance, go through a false wall in the upper left of the room. 5 - Bottom of elevator, left path. Fly up on the left side of the lave pit. Cackle Mound 1 - Top of the shaft near the entrance. 2 - Right side of the eye block area. 3 - Ride the eye block up through false ceiling. 4 - Use monkey and follow arrow in background left of spike shaft. 5 - Fly up from bottom of the zig-zag room to an alcove on the right. Twinkle Palace 1 - First launcher room - right, up and drift left as you fall. 2 - First launcher room below the entrance is a narrow path in the left wall. 3 - In the center of the top right room of the shaft along a hidden path. 4 - Fly up in the first launcher room to grab this one that you see below the floor previously. 5 - in the upper left corner of the room right before the boss room. ----------------------------HHL007------------------------------ Heart Holder Locations 1 - Naga Wasteland - take the ladder down and use Vanishing Cream to walk through the enemy wall, and claim the Heart Holder. 2 - Scarecrow Fields - atop a pillar. Change into monkey to grab the side of the platform to get up to it. 3 - Archer forest - ram stump, use mint, and dance to get rid of clown. 4 - Spider Forest - on top of the large hill with two slippery sides. 5 - Mud Bog - underground passage in first rock wall. Use Float Muffin to cross pit. 6 - Mount Pointy - up and slightly left of Twinkle Palace. 7 - Mens Desert - fly up from the first large sand dune. ----------------------------FFL008------------------------------ Firefly Locations 1 - Scarecrow Field - above a platform to the left of the Heart Holder. 2 - Rain Storm - above the second platform after the first set of gaps. 3 - Snail Wasteland - (monkey) go to the second (middle) rock platforms. It is just right of the highest platform and above the third snail enemy. 4 - Ghost Forest - (monkey) upper part of the wall, in alcove. 5 - Waterfall - (spider) above the entrance to the shortcut to Snail Wasteland. 6 - Waterfall - (spider) beneath west entrance/exit. 7 - Naga Wasteland - (spider) atop rocks left of 2nd ladder. 8 - Mud Bog - (monkey) climb the first rock wall you see and it will be on the right side of the upper section. 9 - Eagle Wasteland - (spider) Above the east entrance/exit. 10 - Mount Pointy - (harpy) just left of Twinkle Palace entrance, half way to the save point. 11 - Ghost Forest - (harpy) fly up next to the second tree and it will be in the alcove to the left. 12 - Archer forest - Right of the large pit and above the stone pillars. ----------------------------Tal009------------------------------ Talismans Monkey Claw - monkey and elephant required Below the left entrance/exit of the Waterfall area is a ladder. Take it to a path to a forest area. At the left end of that area is a log to a pass and leads to another forest area. In the upper left of that area is a stump hiding a ladder which lead to a chamber. Use a Storm Puff to get rid of the enemy and get the talisman behind it. Elephant Tote - spider required In Snail Wasteland, climb the first (left) rock platform section, and take the ladder atop the highest platform there. It leads to a part of the Waterfall area. From there go left and up to another ladder. In that area the talisman can be found down and to the right. Spider Venom - harpy required In Mud Bog there are three huge mushrooms fairly close to each other. The talisman in on the top of the middle and tallest of the three. Harpy Talon - harpy required In Scarecrow Field near the left side are three small stone pillars with platforms.
