Intro + How the Guide Works ******************************* I personally loved the NES version of Dragon Warrior 3 & I was totally thrilled when Enix announced the remake of it for GBC. Had enough of Dragon Warrior 1+2, so lets get ready for the 3rd dose of it. Hopefully, Enix will continue remaking the lost Dragon Warrior/Quest games, hopefully for GBA. Now on how the guide works. Instead of using just words to explain how to get over a particular area, I decided to use maps to help you get through the game better, after seeing how well maps are used for the Zelda games. I hope that this will work better than the confusing chunk of text used by other walkthroughs, so now we're on to the walkthrough. *********** B. Version *********** ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Current Version: V 0.3 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ -- Short update till Baharata Town **After taking a long break of more than a month, I finally sat down & continued my walkthough/FAQ. The List section will be halted for the time being. I also had a try on ASCII art & pls note the change of e-mail if you are contacting me** ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Version 0.25 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ -- Covered the walkthrough till the MagicKey section. -- Made a big update on the Personality list & added a Bestiary/Monster Medals section covering some of the first monsters faced in the game. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Version 0.1 - 0.2 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ -- Only a short walkthrough & a severely incomplete Personality list. ************** C. What's New ************** i. Added a list (Bestiary/Monster Medals) & revised the Personality List ii. Continued the walkthrough till Portoga *************** D. Walkthrough *************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (1) Quest for the TheifKey ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^^^^^^^^^^^ i. Aliahan ^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Speak to the King at the castle -- Recruit 3 companions from the Tavern Items: STRseed, 2 TinyMedals, Antidote, LUCKseed, 50G, 25G, Herb & 5G. After choosing your name & gender, you will have to be tested for your personality, something exclusive in the GBC version. Walk north a screen & you would be asked some questions. Just answer them & you’ll soon be put into something like a trail based on your answers & this will also test your personality. After that, your test is finally over (my personality is smart) & it starts off just like in the NES version. Now that you are awake, you should first get a STRseed from the dresser in your room before heading out. Your mom will then lead you to Aliahan Castle. Go inside. You can now explore the castle. Most of the doors are locked, though. You can talk to people to know more. Explore the castle thoroughly & you should be able to find an unlocked room with 2 barrels containing a Tiny Medal & an Antidote. When you’re ready, head up stairs. The room on the bottom-left contain a LUCKseed, so you might want to get it. You could also get some info from the people. When you’re done, talk to the King. He’ll tell you about your father & the Demon Lord, etc. He'll then tell you to get yourself some companions, and gives you 50G for equipment. You will also get 2 Clubs, a Stick, and a Traveller Suit in your inventory. Its time now to get out of the castle & explore the city. Here's an overview of Aliahan: ------ |Temple| ------ | ------ ----- |Tavern| --------- |House| ------ |Item Shop| ----- | --------- | ------------ | --- ----------- ---- |Hero's House| -- |Inn| -- |Weopon Shop| -- |Well| ------------ --- ----------- ---- Let's start from the Tavern, where you get your companions. Just pick any 3 classes (you can register them on the 2nd floor). Any class should do, but I suggest having a Cleric along is best. There's also a bank there, where you can store money safely away from monsters, but you must deposit at least 1000G at one time. After you have picked your party, you should go one round over the Tavern to pick up 25G in the barrel. After that, you should go to your house. Here, you can pick up a Herb in a barrel & 5G from your grandfather’s dresser on the 2nd floor. Now, its time to move to Inn. Nothing musch here but to heal when needed. North of the inn is the Item Shop. You can buy herbs, antidotes, warpwings & a Pot-lid shield here. East of the inn is the weopon shop. One or two additions to the weopons/armour the king gave you should be enough to serve your party currently. You can find a well to the east of the weopon shop. Go under it to find a place where you can trade your Tiny Medals for prizes. In front of the well is a house. If you roam outside on the World Map till it turns dark before coming back to it, you can find a Tiny Medal in its dresser. Now, let's head to the Temple. For those of you who had played the previous Dragon Warrior or the original Final Fantasy, this is the place where you revive fallen characters, for a price, of course. You can also De-Tox (heals poison) & Uncurse your characters. ^^^^^^^^^^ ii. Reeve ^^^^^^^^^^ Items: Muscle Book & TinyMedal You might want to train up a few levels & heal up at Aliahan's Inn before heading to your next destination, Reeve. You might also get a few Monster Medals in the meantime. To ge to Reeve, head north of Aliahan & stay along the water coast until you hit some grey mountains (don't be surprised if you ‘bump' into a secret area). Head north & you'd soon find the village of Reeve. Now, you're finally in the village of Reeve. Here's an overview of it: ------------ |Locked House| ------------ | --------- ----- ------ |Item Shop| -- |House| |Temple| --------- ----- ------ | | --- ----------- ------- |Inn| -- |Weapon Shop| -- |Boulder| --- ----------- ------- The map basically shows the whole village, so I won't go through it with you. You can buy new weapons/armour if you have the money, rest at the inn & find out more info about the ThiefKey. The house contains a muscle book in its bookshelf while the boulder has a Tiny Medal under it when you push it aside & search the place. There's nothing much left here now, so you should head into the world map & south into... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ iii. Najimi Tower (via Promontry Cave) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Find the entrance to Najimi Tower -- Get the TheifKey from the old man in Najimi Tower Items: 32G, 56G, Traveler Suit, Herb, 40G, TinyMedal, WarpWing & Tomboy Book The entrance to the cave is actually in the middle of the forest south of Reeve (The patch without any trees). Once you step on it, you'd be transported to a secret area. Take the stairs in the middle of it to get to some sort of a tunnel. Here's the overview of it: -------- |Entrance| | | | | ------------------------------ | | Chest | | | -------- ------ Door ----- | | | Chests | | | -------- ---------- --------- | | | | ----------- ------------- | Stairs Stairs | | (1) (2) | ----------- ------------- | | | | -------- ---------- | | | | | Stairs | | (3) | -------- Well, just follow the map to get through the tunnel. Leave the door alone first & get the lone chest, which contains 32G. Stairs (1) leads to Promontry Cave, which you should go first. Stairs (2) takes you to Aliahan Castle's prison, but the door after you go there is locked. Stairs (3) actually lead to Najimi Tower itself, so go to it if you wanna save time. Now, here's the map of Promontry Cave: --------------------------------- | Chest | | (1) | --- ------------ | | | | | | | | | | | | | -------------------- ------------ | | Chest Entrance| | (2) | | ------------------------------------------- | | | | | | --------- ------- | | | ------------------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | -------- | | | | | | ------------- | Stairs | | Chest (3) | | (4) | ---------------- | | | | ----------- Again, you can follow the map to get to the numerous chests. Chest (1) contains 56G, Chest (2) contains a Traveler Suit while Chest (3) contains a Herb. Stairs (4) leads to the World Map if you want a breath of fesh air. When you're done, head back to the tunnel & take Stairs (3) to get to Najimi Tower. Here's the overview of Najimi Tower: Level 1: ************* | | | | ----- --- --- ----- | | | | | | -- | | | | -- | ------------ ------------ | -- -- | | ---------------------- -------------------------- | | | | ----------- ----------- | Stairs Stairs | | (1) (2) | ----------- ----------- | | | | ----------- ----------- | | | | ----------- ----------- | | ------- | | ------- | | | | | | | | | | | | -- ----- ----- -- | | ------ ---- ---- ------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | *** | | *** | E | This map might be pretty confusing, & there's nothing much to explore, to top it off. The E stands for the entrance, & the ***** leads you out in the world map. Just head straight to the opening with the 2 staircases. Stairs (1) leads you to an inn for a rest, while Stairs (2) leads you to Level 2 of Najimi Tower. Here's the overview of Level 2: ---------- ---- ---------- | | | | | Stairs | | | | | | (3) | | ---- ---- | | | | ---- ---- | | Chest | | | | | ---------- | | ---------- | | ---------- | | --------------- | | | | | E | | | | | | | | ------ ------ | | | | ------ --- ------- | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------- ----------- | | ---------- ---------- | | | Stairs || | ------ ---------- | (4) || | | | -- -- -- -- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---- ----- ---------- | | | | | ------ | | | | | ------------------------------------------------- Again, its another maze with lots of useless places to go, so follow the map to avoid them. The 'E' stands for where you start out. The Chest contains 40G while Stairs (3) leads to a chest containing a TinyMedal After that, head to Stairs (4) (be careful of the edges, which will bring you out on the world map at the base of Najimi Tower). Now, its time to explore Level 3 : ------------------------------ | | | | | | ------ ---- ------ | | | | | | | | ----------------- ---- ------------------------------- | | | | | ------------ ------ -------------------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ------ -- -- ------ | | | | | || | | | | | | Stairs || | | | | | | (5) || Chest | | | | | ---------------- ---------------- | | | | | | | | | | | --------------- ----------------------------- | | | | | | E | | Stairs | | | | (6) | ---------------------- ------------------------------------ Again, the 'E' is where you start out. Take the WarpWing from the Chest first, before taking Stairs (5). Stairs (6) can actually be left alone. On your last level, take the ThiefKey from the old man. You can finnaly open all the red doors. There is a Tomboy Book from the bookshelf, so you might want to take it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (2) Search for the Traveler's Gate ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ i. Out To Steal At Aliahan & Reeve ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Get the MagicBomb from the man in Reeve Items: AGLseed, Wooden Hat, TinyMedal, INTseed & Antidote Now that you'd got what you want (the ThiefKey) its time to exit back to Aliahan. There are a few ways to do so, so I'll explain them one by one. 1) This is the easiest (and fastest) way to get back to Aliahan. Just jump off the ledge of the tower in that level (by opening the door south). Use a WarpWing to get back to Aliahan instantly. 2) This is the recommended way to get back. Slowly backtrack all the way to the tunnel you first came in through. Open the door for 2 Chests containing an AGLseed & a wooden hat before heading to Stairs (2) (refer to the map back up). This will take you to the Aliahan Prison. Unlock the door & you instantly back into Aliahan. 3) This is the long & tedious way back. Backtrack all the way to Reeve (you might want to heal at the Inn first). Next, go back to aliahan the way you came through. Good for gaining experience. Now, you're back to good ol' Aliahan. Even with the TheifKey, there's nothing much to pilfer. There are actually only 2 doors to open & only 1 room contain something useful. OK, here it is. The first room is south of the room where you can see 4 chests lying around (but can't open the door, yet). Inside is a man who wanna be a scholar but failed (he didn'r read the Smart Book). Well, what more do we have from this little lad, NOTHING! The next room is west of the princess, who happens to be all the way up front near the prison. Inside, you can get the only thing you can loot from Aliahan, a TinyMedal. Now, it is time to head back to Reeve, by Promontry Cave, the World Map or a WarpWing. Here, head into the locked house north of the temple. There is an INTseed in the vase on the first floor, so you might want to take it. Now its time to pay the old man upstairs a visit. Tell him that you came in with the ThiefKey to get the MagicBomb. You can finally be on your quest for the Traveler's Gate now. Before you exit from his house, be sure to take the Antidote from the dresser. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ii. Off to the Traveler's Gate (via Tempt Cave) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Use the MagicBomb to blow open a hole in a wall in Tempt Cave to advance -- Locate the Traveler's Gate & travel through it Items: TinyMedal, WarpWing, MagicMap, Antidote & Knife Now that you have the MagicBomb, it is time to find the Traveler's Gate. From Reeve, head all the way east until you see some brown mountains. Then, start to head south, 'tramping' on them & through the gap of the 'untouchable' grey mountains. Soon, you should see a shrine. Go inside. The man inside will tell you some info, but it is not really important. What is more important, in my opinion, is the book in the bookshelf about Boomerangs & Whips. You can also get a TinyMedal & a WarpWing from the vases in the shrine. Now, head into the forests northeast of the shrine to go into another secret area. Go down the stairs in the secret area to arrive at Tempt Cave. Here is the map of Level 1 of Tempt Cave: ---------- | Entrance | --------------- | | | | ------ | | | | | | | | | | ------------ | | | | MAN ---------- | | | | ------ *** WALL **** -------------- | | | | | Chest | | Stairs | | (1) | ------------- This map is quite inaccurate, but it should at least be understood. From the entrance, just head to where the man is. If you talk to him, he will confirm to you that this is Tempt Cave, where the Traveler's Gate lie. Then, head to the wall & use the MagicBomb to unseal the wall. After that, take the Magic Map in the chest before heading down to Level 2. Here is the oveview of Level 2: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | Chest | | (1) | --------------- ------------------------- ---- | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------------- ----------------------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------- --------------- | | | | | | | | | | | ------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ****| | | | | | | ----- *** --------------- | | | | | | *** | | | | | | *** | | | | | -----*** ----------------------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------- | | | | --------------------------- | | | | | | ---------------- ------------------ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------------- ---------- | | | | | Stairs *** | | | | | | (2) *** | | | | | | ---------- ---------- | | | | | | | E | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |****** | | | | | | | | ****** | | | | | | | | ******| | | | | | ---------- ------------ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------------- ------------ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | -------------- ------------------ | | | | Chest ***** | | | | (2) ***** | | | -------------- ------------------------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | --------------- ------------------------------------ | | ***** | | | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a very complicated dungeon with lots of pits (represented by ****) & dead ends. Just follow the map above & get through this level. Start from the 'E' & avoid the pits (or you'd have to start from one level below). Remember to get the chests too. Chest (1) contains an Antidote while Chest (2) contains a knife. After you've got everything you need, head to Stairs (2) for the exit. Here is the overview of Level 3: ------ | E | | | -------------- -------------- | | | | | ------ ------ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Door | | Door | | Door | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ----- | ------ ------- | | | | | ------- | | | | | | | T | ----- After such a hectic level, you can now sit back & relax. Just take the left path & walk all the way & you're finally at the Traveler's Gate. 3 Cheers for yourself! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (3) Quest for the Stolen Golden Crown ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^^^^^^^^^^ i. Romaly ^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Talk to the King & help to retrieve the Golden Crown from Kandar -- Find out where Kazave Village is from the villages Items: MoonHerb, Antidote, 2 TinyMedals, Leather Hat, Smart Book, Toughness Ring, 2 Tokens, Cheat Book After being transported by the Traveler's Gate, you'd be in some sort of a cave. Just go up the stairs & you're at a whole new continent. Just had north a bit & you'd be in a new continent. You can see a castle somewhere north, so head inside. Here is an overview of the city of Romaly: ------------- |Romaly Castle| ------------- | | ---------- ---------- | | | | ----- ------ |House| |Temple| ----- ------ | | | | ----- ----- | | | | | | | ----------- --------- --- |Weapon Shop| |Item Shop| |Inn| ----------- --------- --- | | | ---- | | ----|Room| --------------- ---- |Monster Stadium| --------------- Well, as you can see for yourself, Romaly is BIG, & it might take some time just to explore. You can find a MoonHerb in the dresser in the room next to the Inn & an antidote in the dresser in the room upstairs. West of the Inn are the weapon & item shops, while the stairs below them lead to the Monster Stadium, where you can bet on the monsters. The chances of winning is quite low, but all it takes is 1 or 2 wins to make you a rich man. North of the shops is a house, where you can nab a TinyMedal in its vases & a Leather Hat in the dresser. East of it is a Temple, where you can find a Toughness Ring in its dresser & a Smart Book in the bookcases. If you search under the ground beside the torch on the right of the castle, you can find another TinyMedal. The last item that can be found in the city is a Token, trapped under the dog you see in the day, so you have to wait for nightfall to get it. Now, it is time to explore the castle. It is a big castle all right, so here is the map: -------------- --------------- | Stairs | | Stairs | | (1) | | (2) | | ---------------------------- | | | | | -- ---------------------------- -- | | Stairs | | | | (3) | | | | | | | ----- ----- | | | | | | ----- ----- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ----- | | | | | | | | | | | | ----- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Stairs | ----- ----- | | | (4) | | | | | ----------- | E | ------------ Well, there's nothing much to explore here. Stairs (1) & (4) leads to locked doors, so take Stairs (2) to get a Cheat Book from the bookcase & a Token from the dresser. After that, head to Stairs (3) to get to the King's throne. Talk to him & he'll tell you to find his crown from the hands of Kandar. If you'd talked to the people in Romaly before, a lot of them will tell you about Kazave up north of Romaly so there is where you should head to. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ii. Kavaze Village ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Items: Boxer Shorts, Poison Dagger, Club & TinyMedal On your way to Kazave, you can actually find a Pachisi Shrine & play Pachisi with the tokens you found (more info will be available when I add a Pachisi section) Kazave Village is actually a resting place as you travel from Romaly to other places. Your goal now is Shampane Towe, West of Kazave, but take a moment to explore Kazave's things to offer. Here is the map of it: ------ --------- ------ |Temple|--|Graveyard|---------|Tavern| ------ --------- ------ | | | | | | -- | | | | --------- | |Item Shop| ----------- --------- |Weapon Shop|---------- | ----------- | | | --- ------------|Inn| --- Kazave's small, but it does have quite some items in it, so here they are. There is a Token in the dresser of the Inn. The Item Shop has a Boxer Shorts in its dresser, but the 2 Chests beside the owner look kinda weird, maybe it contains the Poison Dagger it once sold, so loot it at night for the Poison Dagger all right & a Club. The Graveyard, which is accesible through the temple hides a TinyMedal under one of the Tombstone (you can see the ghost of the fighter at night there). That's about all Kazave has to offer, so it's time to head to our destination, Shampane Tower. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ iii. Shampane Tower ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Locate Kandar & follow him all the way to initiate the boss battle -- Defeat him (& his Goons) to take back the Golden Crown Items: 430G & Bronze Shield To get to Shampane Tower, head west all the way from Kazave until you pass all the grey mountains. After that, head south, & you should be able to find a bridge. Cross it & start moving southwest. In no time, you'd see a tower, & that is Shampane Tower. Here's an overview of Level 1 of Shampane Tower: ---------- | | ---------------------- -- ------ | | | | | | -- -- ---- --------- | | | | | | | | | ---- ---- | | | | | | ----- --- | ---------- -- | E | | ----- --- | | | | | ---------- | | | | | | | ------- | | | | | | | | ------- | | |Stairs| | Chest | | | | (1) | | | -- -- ------ -- -- | | | | -- -- -- -- | | | | -- ---------------------- | | | | | ---------------------------------- Start off with the E. This level is pretty starightfoward, so you might want to head to the Chest for 430G. Head to Stairs (1) when you're done to go to Level 2. Here's the overview of it: ---------------- | | ---- | | | ---- | | | -- | | | | -------- -- | | | | | | ---- ---- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | -- | | | | Stairs | | | | (2) | | | ------------- | | | | -------------- | | | | | | | | | -------- | | | | | | -------- | | | | | ---- | | ---- | | | | | | E | -- | | | --------- | | | | -- | | | | | | --------------------------------- | | | | | ------------------------------------------------------- This is another straightfoward leve. Just start from the E, get to the stairs & you're done. Just be careful of the 'ledges' that you can find in Najimi Tower or you'll have to start from the bottom. Now, it's time to explore Level 3: -------- ---------------- | | | | | | | | | ------ | | | ------- | ------ | | Chest | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | -- Stairs | | | | | | (3) | | | | | ------------------- | | -- | ------- | | | | | | | -------- | | | | E | | | | | | ---------- | | | | | ----------------------------------------------- This map is pretty inaccurate, but it should guide you through. Just get to Stairs (3) & you're through. (The chest contains a Bronze Shield) Level 4 is actually very small, so I won't use a map. Just 'stick' to the wall & travel south, then east, to get to a door. Open it & take the stairs in that 'room'. Level 5 is even simplier. As you approach the 2 men in the 'room', they will say something about telling their master & will escape. Follow them through the stairs they took. Here, you'd Kandar. He has a trap for you, though. Never mind, you'd only land in Level 5. Go back up again & you'd find out that Kandar has gone with the treasures in the chest. To get to him, 'jump' off the ledge in front & you'd end up just in front of him. Heal your party as you'll soon have your first boss fight. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Boss Battle: Kandar (With Goons) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kandar's stats: HP: 300, MP: 0, ATK: 70, DEF: 54, AGL: 10 Goons' stats : HP: 60, MP: 0, ATK: 45, DEF: 31, AGL: 20 Experience: 2,200 (Kandar), 80 (Goon) Items/Gold: N/A This battle can be quite tough, especially with the pestering Goons & Kandar's high HP. The key here is to kill off the Goons first. I personally think that the 'classic' Hero, Warrior/Fighter, Cleric & Mage party works well for this fight. The Hero & the warrior/fighter should be able to kill of 1 Goon per turn, the Cleric should do the healing, while the Mage can cast spells, maybe to the goons or Kandar itself. The Hero can occasionally help out in healing while the Cleric can deal out some damge physically, too. Just don't let anyone die as they will lose out on those precious experience. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ iv. The New King/Queen Of Romaly ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Return the Golden Crown to the King -- Find the old King in the Monster Stadium & return him his crown if you'd decided to take the throne After the battle, Kandar will plead for mercy. You must release him, though, & he'll leave you with the Golden Crown. After that, exit the tower through the ledge. Here, you can walk by foot , use a WarpWing or cast the Return spell to get back to Romaly. He then want to abide his throne to you, & you must say no a lot of times to convinve him, so you might want to try out how it is to be the King/Queen of Romaly. As you 'patrol' the city as the King, you'd be shocked to see the people's respectful tones when they speak to you. But you'll soon find out that being the King is way too boring. You can't buy anything, leave the city & gamble at the Monster Stadium (you can't even pick up items as 'nothing is good enough for the King). Now, it's time to revert to your good ol' ways, so you should find the old king. He's at the Monster Stadium, & he'll agree to take back his throne (you could always request to be the King again) when you talk to him & say 'No' to his question. After you're done being the King, it's time to continue the journey. If you'd talked to the people in Kazave, you should hear of a sleeping town to the north of it, so that is your next destination. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (4) Quest for the Dream Ruby ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ i. Noaniels Town ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Talk to the only person awake in the town to know more about the curse Items: STRseed, Kilt, MoonHerb, AGLseed & TragicBook From Kazave, head northwest to find a town. It appears to be normal at first glance, but if you talk to the people there, you'd find that all of them are asleep! Let's take this opportunity to loot, so here's the overview of it: ---------------- --------- |Item/Weapon Shop|-------------------------|House (1)| ---------------- | --------- | | | | | | | --- -----------------------------|Inn| | --- | | --------- |House (2)| --------- OK, so let's start from House (1). The entrance is actually hidden on the left side, so find your way in. You can get a STRseed from the vase of it. Next, it's time to explore the Inn, where you can find a Kilt & a MoonHerb in the dressers in the 2nd floor. The last place you'd have to explore is House (2), where you can grab an AGLseed from the vase there & a TragicBook in it's bookcase. Here, you can also find the only man awake currently, so talk to him. He'll tell you more about the curse. You should now find Elvenham & the Dream Ruby to help lift the curse. **The Item/Weapon Shop & Inn can only be used after you wake the town** ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ii. Elvenham ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Talk to the Elf Queen to find out more about the curse of Noaniels -- Undertake the wuest to find the Dream Ruby Elvenham is a 'hidden' area near Noaniels. It lies only a little walk west of Noaniels, & is hidden just north of a cave in a clearing like the entrance of Promontry Cave. When you step into the small vilage, you'll find out that the elfs there actually don't like human. The woman at the item shop won't even sell you items (it'll be sometime later before you can shop from there). To know more about why the elfs hate humans so much, talk to the Queen there. She'll soon tell you that she will only lift the curse if you find the Dream Ruby. That is what you should do now. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ iii. Noaniels Cave ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Retrieve the Dream Ruby & the note attached Items: 288G, Repellent, TinyMedal, Spear, STRseed, Rosary Necklace Leather Dress, Token & 224G Noaniels Cave is the cave you see just south of Elvenham. Just get in there to be in level 1. Here's an overview of it: -------- | E | | | | | | | | | ---------- | | Chest | | (1) | ---------- | | | | | ---------------- ---------- | | Chest | | | | (1) | | | | | | ---- | | | | | | | ---- ---- -- -- | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------------------- ------------------ | Man | | | | | | | ----------- ------------------------------------------------- | | | | | -------------------------- | | | | | | ------------------ | | | | | | | | | ---- ---- | | | Stairs Stairs | | Stairs| | (3) (2) | | (1) | ----------------- ------- Start from the 'E' on this level & make your way to the 2 chests containing 288G & a Repellent respectively. You might want to talk to the man too to hear about a healing 'spring' in the cave. When you're done with this level, head to Stairs (1). Stairs (1) will lead you to an extremely short tunnel leading to another flight of stairs. Take it to get to Level 2. Here's the overview of Level 2: -------------------- | Stairs | | (4) ---- ------ | | | -- | | Chest | | (3) -- -- | | E | --------------- This is a very simple level (I don't know what made me draw this map. Just start from the 'E', get the TinyMedal from the chest & exit through Stairs (4). Stairs (4) will bring you to something like the tunnel you went through before, so take the flight of stairs at the end to get bak on Level (1), at Stairs (2). Now, head to Stairs (3) to get to Level 3. Here's the overview of it: ----------------------------------------- | Chest Chest | | (1) (2) | ----------------- ---------------- | | | | | | | | ------------- | | | | | | ----- | | | | | | | | | ---- ---- | | | | | --------------------- | | | | | Stairs | | ****************** | | (5) | | ** Healing Spring | --------------- | *********************| | E | ---------------------------- Once again, start from the 'E'. You might want to make one round round the water (represented by ****) to the 'healing spring', where you can recover all your HP & MP. You might want to use this free healing facility to level up near it. You can also get the Spear from Chest (1) & STRseed from Chest (2). When you're done, head to stairs (5) to get to level 4. Here's the overview of Level 4: ---------------------------------------------- | | | | | | | | | | | -- --- | | | |Stairs (7)| | Stairs | | | | Chest (2)| | (6) | | | | ---- --- ---- | | | | | | | | | | Chest | | ---- --- --- | | | (4) | | Chest (3)| | Chest (1)| | E | ------- ---------- ----------- ------ This crammy little level contains a lot of items, so take your time & explore. The chests contains a Rosary Necklace, a Leather Dress, a Token & 224G respectively. When you're done, head to Stairs (7) . Here's the overview of the last level (Level 5): ---- | E1 | | ---- -- | ------------ | -- | | -- | ------------------------------- | | | | ------------------------- Dream Ruby | -- - | | | | | | | | ------------ - | E2 | ----- If you hadn't heed my advice earlier on & took Stairs (6), you'll end up in 'E1'. If not, you should start at 'E2', just a straight walk to the Dream Ruby. There's also a note attached to it. When you're done, head out of the cave, go back to Elvenham & show the Dream Ruby to the Queen. She'll give you the Wake Dust. Head back to Noaniels after that & use it to wake the people there. You can finally use the Inn & Item/Weapon Shop there. After you'd woke them from their sleep, you cannot loot some of the items, but you can learn that Ortega, your father had went to Ashalam in search of the MagicKey 'yesterday'. Ashalam is exactly where you should head. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (5) Quest for the MagicKey ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^^^^^^^^^^^ i. Ashalam ^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Learn about the MagicKey & the desert city of Isis From Romaly, stick to the east coastline until you reach a bridge. Cross it & go along the east coastline, later the grey mountains, again. Soon, you should find a cave, which you might wanna explore. The cave (or tunnel) actually has no monsters in it, so it's all right to explore it even if you're weakened. Sadly, there's nothing much to explore, for now. There's a well there, & a man named Norud the Hobbit. He's not too friendly, though, so you might want to loot the Training Suit & Club there. After you're done with the cave. Just head a little south & you should see the town of Ashalam. Here's an overview of it: --------------- ------ --------------- --------- |Weapon Shop (H)|--|Stairs|--|Weapon Shop (N)|--|Item Shop| --------------- ------ --------------- --------- | | | | ------ ----------- |Temple| |Weapon Shop| ------ ----------- | | ------------- ------------------------ | |Item Shop (H)|--|Powderpuff Massage House| | ------------- ------------------------ | | | | | ------- --- |Theater| |Inn| ------- --- Ashalam is indeed a busy town. It has 5 Weapon/Item shops, although two of them sell items/weapons at an unreasonable price. You can still haggle (the last 'chance' is when he say something about suicide), but the price is still high, so I suggest you do not buy anything from them (those shops are represented by (H). The shop with the (N) beside it only opens at night. Nightlife is when Ashalam gets more lively. You can watch the belly dancers at the theater, & even get a powderpuff massage, although the truth is something different. That's all Asahlam has to offer for now, so let's head on. ^^^^^^^^^ ii. Isis ^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Talk to the Queen & learn about the Pryamid -- Listen & learn the chidren's song in the castle's nursery From Ashalam, stay along the coastline & you'll soon see a Shrine. It is another Pachisi Shrine! Play all the Pachisi you want with your Tokens before heading ' out. From there, stay along the coastline again until you get to the bottom of the desert. From there, head west all the way until you see an oasis surrounded by trees. To get into the secret area Isis is in, enter the trees through the southwest (going to the other entrances results in blocked paths). You will then see a city with a castle behind it. You're finally at Isis! Lets head to the city & explore it first: --------- ------ |House (1)| |Temple|----- --------- ------ | | | | | ---- | | |---------------|Well|----------| ------------- | ---- | |Item Shop (2)| | | | ------------- ------------- --- --------- | |Item Shop (1)|--------|Inn|-----|House (2)| | ------------- --- --------- | | | | --------------- | | |Monster Stadium| --------- | --------------- | | | | | --------- --------- ------------------ |Graveyard|-----------|House (3)|---|Weapom/Armour Shop| --------- --------- ------------------ Let's start exploring the city starting from the Graveyard. Like the one in Kazave, it has a TinyMedal under one of its tombstones. House (1) contains a pair of Boxer Shorts while the well has a Brave Book in it. There's a little room in the Weapon/Armour shop, & it contains a TinyMedal. Blocking the path into House (2) is Sokras, who has some pretty deep philosophies. Come back at night to get a Token & a Smart Book. Now it's time to explore Isis Castle. When you first come in though, head for the 'boundary' west of the entrance way down south. Cross over it & head all the way north to find a 'cave' opening. Head all the way, going through staircases, & you'll soon find a chest, containing the Starry Bracelet. A spirit will appear after that, but fear not, he'll let you keep it whether you speak the truth or not. Now, let's officially enter the castle. The castle has a pretty simple layout, with some items to loot (which I will go through in the next update). There are some others sealed by Magic Doors, so just head for the stairs to go up when you're done. One the 2nd floor, I suggest you check up the nursery at the east, and listen to a rhyme, which goes like this: Round buttons are magic buttons, Round buttons open a door. From west of east to east of west, From west of west to east of east. I suggest you remember this rhyme for the convenience of your quest later. After that, talk to the Queen to know more about the Pryamid. Save your game & proceed to your next destination, the Pryamid ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ iii. Pyramid ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Press the buttons on Level 3 to open up a wall -- Get the MagicKey From Isis, just head north all the way until you see a Pryamid. It's not too obvious, but you should at least see it. Enter it. Here's the overview of Level 1: ---------------- | Stairs (1) | ---------- | | | | | ------ ------------ | | | | | ------ | | | ----------- | | | | | | |Chests --------------- --------------- | | (E) TTTT | | (C) --------------- ---------------------- | (C) | | | ------ | | ------ | | ------ | | | | | | |Chest --------------- --------------- Chest | | (E) TTTT (E) | | --------------- --------------- | | | | | | | ------ | | ------ | | | | | E | You start from the 'E' here. Before you even take the first corner, let me warn you that the centre 4 'tiles' of each intersection actually are traps, & you'll be 'transported' to a Level where you cannot use magic. If you happen to fall into the trap, get out & start all over again. The Chests with an (E) beside them are empty while the Chests with a (C) beside them actually contain a Canniboxes, whose physical attack may even kill one of your weaker party member at once. You might want to avoid them & get to Stairs (1) to get to Level 2. Here's an overview of it: ------------------------------- | E | ---------- ---------- | ------------------- | | | | | Stairs| ---- | | | | | (3) | | | | | | | | -------------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | -------------------- ---------- ---------- | | | | | | -------------------- ---------- ---------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------- | | ---- | | | | | | | | | | | | ---- | | | -- | | | | | | | Chest | | | ------- ---------- | | (1) | | | | | ------- | | ------- ---------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ---------- ---------- | | | | Stairs (2) | ------------------------------------ This level might look confusing, but it is actually not. Just head to Chest (1) first & get the INTseed first before heading to Stairs (3), where there are 3 Chests with a Cannibox, TinyMedal & one with nothing. Head back after that & take Stairs (2) to get to Level 3. Here's the overview of it: -------------- ------ | Chests (1)(2)| ------ |Stairs| ---- ---- |Stairs| | (4) | | | | (5) | | | -- **** --- | | | | | | | | | | -- -- | | | ---------- | | ---------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | ------ ----- | | ------ ----- | | | | | | | | | | | | ---- --------- | | --------- ---- | | | | | | | | | | | | | --------- | | | | --------- | | | | | | | | | | | --- --- | --- --- | --- --- | --- | | | | --- | | 3 | | 2 | | E | | 1 | | 4 | --- --- ------------------------- --- --- Level 3 is when the nursery rhyme finally comes handy. The directions actually tell you which buttons to press first, but if you'd not remembered it earlier, I had marked them in order on the 'map'. When you're done, the wall (represented by ****) will move away, making way for 2 chests containing the MagicKey & a VITseed. Now you'd got what you want, you can leave with the Outside & Return spells, but if you still have some energy left, take either Stairs (4) or (5) to go up. On the next level, just head left/right, depending on which stairs you'd taken earlier, open the magic door & head down. There are lots of chests, but they are all guarded by 4 MummyMen, so think about whether you wanna take te items. The items are :- (i) 176G (ii) WarpWing (iii) STRseed (iv) 80G (v) AGLseed (vi) 112G (vii) Skirt (viii) 304G (ix) Ruby Bracelet (x) 56G (xi) TinyMedal (xii) Stone Wig When you're done with all the looting & Mummymen, head south & take the stairs. From that level, you can get a Flashy Coat. Take it & leave via the stairs to the south. From that screen, you can finally exit the Pryamid & return back to Isis. **Searching the floor in the centre of the northwest 'room' in the basement of the Pyramid would unveil a set of stairs, which will eventually lead to a casket on a altar. Opening it will let you get the Golden Claw, which is a superb weapon for your fighter (or you can sell it for 6000G). The thing is, taking it will result on a curse where you will encounter enemies every few steps (2 to be exact) you take. And as you cannot use magic to heal/attack in the basement, I suggest you wait till your party's level is higher before you try this out** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (6) In Search Of Pepper In Exchange For A Ship ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ i. Out To Loot With The MagicKey, Again ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Now that we got hold of the MagicKey & can open new doors, it's time to steal all you can. In Isis Castle, there are 2 rooms which contain 4 chests each. They are guarded when you try to enter, but as you'd learned through the game so far, sneak in at night to find a Silk Robe, 72G, a Ruby Bracelet & an INTseed in the chests in the west room & a Tiara, LifeAcorn, TinyMedal & 80G in the other one. While you're still in Isis Castle at night, pay the Queen a visit in her chamber. She will tell you to search around her bed to find a 'present' for you. Do so to find your first handy Wizard Ring (which recovers MP but disappears after a few uses). Be sure to keep it in a safe place & use it only in time of a crisis until you acquire the Change Staff. Now, backtrack to Ashalam. The Magic Door located north of the town leads to a staircase, where you can get a Joke Book from the bookcase. Next up is Aliahan Castle, where you can nab 128G, 336G, an AGLseed, a STRseed, a Lune Wand & a Hero Ring, which changes your personality to Valiant. ************ ii. Portoga ************ Objectives :- -- Talk to the King & agree to help him get Pepper from Baharata -- Get the Letter to Norud from him Now that you'd got the MagicKey, you can now open up the door in the Romaly-Portoga gate west of Romaly & across the mountains. From there, just move southwest & you'd soon see Portoga. Let's explore the city first. Portoga city is quite small & distinct (the Inn & shops are all in the same place while the castle is somewhere further), so I don't think a map is needed. A Token is just lying in the dresser in the Inn, so you might wanna take it. West of the shops/Inn, you can find some staircases where you can get STRseed from a hanging sack above. Also, you can find a TragicBook & a TinyMedal if you stick to the border north of the town, round the castle through a long 'tunnel' to a flight of staircases. Head to the castle when you are ready. Before speaking to the king in this simple castle (everything is packed in one floor), you might want to get 3 chests containing a Tatoo, VITseed & Mist Staff in the middle if you step into the barrier (your HP will decrease). When you finally speak to the King, he will say that he will indeed give away a ship for some pepper & give you a letter for Norud the Hobbit to open up the path to Baharata for you. The King is so obsessed with pepper that thye Duke will take over the job of saving the game for you! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ iii. Norud the Hobbit ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Give Norud the letter the King of Portoga gave you -- Follow him as he opens up the secret passageway to the other side of the mountains To get to Norud's cave, get to Ashalam first before heading northeast. You should soon see a cave. Enter it & you'd soon find a hobbit at the end of the cave. He would shove you off rudely at first, but if you show him the letter the King gave you just now, he's show you the secret path. Take the smooth route (there ain't any monsters in the cave) & you should soon be at the other side of the mountains. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ iv. Baharata ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Objectives :- -- Learn about the Pepper Shop's daughter who is being kidnapped -- Witness the scene behind the Pepper Shop where her Fiancé rushes off in a bid to safe her After you'd exited Norud's cave, it will still take a long, tedious walk south before you will see the town of Baharata. But when you'd finally got there, you'd find that the Pepper Shop is closed because the owner's daughter is kidnapped. Anyway, before you rush off to safe her, let's explore the town first: ------ --- |Temple| ---------------- -------------- |Inn| ------ | --- | | | ---------------- | --------- |Weapon/Item Shop| ---------- ----------- |House (1)| ---------------- --------- | | ----------- --------- |Pepper Shop| --- |House (2)| ----------- --------- ********* E. Lists ********* ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ i. Personality ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Your personality determines your starting stats, while your party member's personality depends on how you distribute your seeds. Meanwhile, during your game, personalities affect the way you level up. For example, if you have a Valiant personality, when you level up, your stats will increase more to the STR stat than to the others. On the other hand, if you happen to have a Lucky personality, your stats will increase more to your LUCK stat. Now, I'll go through the scenarios & the stats/personalities involved :- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scenario A: Monster In The Well ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You will be a monster in this scenario & you get to kill people by breathing a flame at them. You must kill te 1st person confronting you. This scenario will end when you leave the town. Action | Personality ----------------------------------------------------------- -- Kill 1 or no people after killing the man | Valiant at the start | | -- Kill everyone but miss the person hiding | Careless outside the inn | | -- Take out the little boy in bed + someone | Logical else | | -- Kill the Nun but leave the boy alive | Cowardly | -- Kill 2 or more people but leave the Nun & | Helpless the boy alive | ~~~~~ Stats ~~~~~ Personality | STR | AGL | VIT | INT | LUCK | --------------------------------------------------- Valiant | 7 | 2 | 4 | 2 | 2 | Careless | 2 | 5 | 4 | 2 | 2 | Logical | 2 | 5 | 3 | 6 | 2 | Cowardly | 3 | 2 | 3 | 6 | 6 | Helpless | 3 | 4 | 3 | 5 | 4 | ---------------------------------- Scenario B: The Queen's Treachery ---------------------------------- This is definitely a weird scenario. You are put in a position of a soldier & you are to invade a neibouring kingdom because of the queen's tale so that she can get their jewels. Your personality depends on what you tell the duke downstairs. Action | Personality ---------------------------------------------------------- -- Leave the castle instantly | Happy | -- Believe that the king's orders are | Lewd (male) absolute & must be followed | Sexy (female) | -- Believe that how people decide what is | Smart right/wrong depends on the individual | | -- Believe that the king's orders can be | Silly ignored if they are clearly wrong | | -- Say 'no' to both the duke's propositions | Kindly ~~~~~ Stats ~~~~~ Personality | STR | AGL | VIT | INT | LUCK | -------------------------------------------------- Happy | 3 | 4 | 3 | 4 | 6 | Lewd (Male) | 5 | 3 | 6 | 5 | 3 | Sexy (Female) | 5 | 6 | 5 | 5 | 6 | Smart | 3 | 4 | 4 | 6 | 3 | Silly | 4 | 6 | 3 | 5 | 5 | Kindly | 5 | 3 | 5 | 5 | 3 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scenario C: Boulders in the Forest ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a very basic scenario. The numbers of boulders you push to the old man determines your personality. Action | Personality ------------------------------------------- -- Bring back 0-1 boulders | Lazy | -- Bring back 2-5 boulders | Vain | -- Bring back 6-19 boulders | Diligent | -- Bring back 20-39 boulders | Eager | -- Bring back 49 boulders | Tough ~~~~~ Stats ~~~~~ Personality | STR | AGL | VIT | INT | LUCK | -------------------------------------------------- Lazy | 5 | 1 | 6 | 2 | 5 | Vain | 5 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 3 | Diligent | 5 | 3 | 6 | 3 | 2 | Eager | 5 | 3 | 5 | 4 | 2 | Tough | 5 | 3 | 7 | 2 | 2 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scenario D: The Famous Dancer ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This scenario puts you in the place of a 'matchmaker'. Your personality will determine on what you answer the man or leave the theater. Action | Personality ----------------------------------------------------- -- Leave the theatre | Carefree | -- Answer 'yes' to the man's question | Weepy | -- Answer 'no' to the man's question | Solitary | -- Answer 'Huh?' to the man's question | Naive ~~~~~ Stats ~~~~~ Personality | STR | AGL | VIT | INT | LUCK | -------------------------------------------------- Carefree | 4 | 2 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Weepy | 3 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Solitary | 4 | 5 | 6 | 5 | 2 | Naive | 4 | 3 | 3 | 2 | 5 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scenario E: The Tower ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This scenario puts you on top of the tower. You have only 2 options, to jump or not to, & that alone decides your personality. Whether you heed the advice of the signs (& fall down the pits) & save the lady determines your personality. Action | Personality --------------------------------------------------------- -- Follow the signs & make it to the exit | Stubborn | -- Ignore the first sign | Selfish | -- Ignore one of the signs (other than the | Defiant first one) | | -- Go for the treasure | Foolish | -- Save the lady | Honest ~~~~~ Stats ~~~~~ Personality | STR | AGL | VIT | INT | LUCK | -------------------------------------------------- Stubborn | 4 | 1 | 6 | 1 | 2 | Selfish | 3 | 5 | 3 | 3 | 3 | Defiant | 3 | 5 | 5 | 3 | 3 | Foolish | 3 | 5 | 2 | 2 | 3 | Honest | 4 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 3 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scenario G: The Theft ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This scenario tests your honesty. You are first asked to fetch a purse from an old man, but it turns out a trick later. How you defend yourself (or leave the town immediately) determines your personality. Action | Personality ---------------------------------------------------------- -- Leave the town immediately | Timid | -- Plead guilty of taking the purse at your | Vain own will | | -- Say you were tricked & point out the old | Alert man | ~~~~~ Stats ~~~~~ Personality | STR | AGL | VIT | INT | LUCK | -------------------------------------------------- Timid | 5 | 1 | 6 | 5 | 3 | Vain | 5 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 3 | Alert | 3 | 5 | 3 | 6 | 4 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scenario H: Lost in the Desert ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You are trapped in a desert. Two brothers are there too, but they have a problem of lack of water & one of them is dying. What you tell the healthy brother to do decides your personality. Action | Personality -------------------------------------------------------- -- Tell him to leave his brother behind | Bully | -- Tell him to carry his brother with him | Macho | -- Tell him to leave the canteen with his | Fearless brother | ~~~~~ Stats ~~~~~ Personality | STR | AGL | VIT | INT | LUCK | -------------------------------------------------- Bully | 6 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 2 | Fearless | 3 | 6 | 5 | 4 | 4 | Macho | 5 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 1 | ~~~~~~~~~~~ Other stats ~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't know how to get these stats, yet (though they can be found in other character classes), but they appeared in Prima's strategy guide, so here they are :- Personality | STR | AGL | VIT | INT | LUCK | --------------------------------------------------- Agile | 3 | 6 | 3 | 4 | 2 | Amazon (Female) | 6 | 3 | 4 | 2 | 2 | Gourmet | 5 | 1 | 5 | 1 | 2 | Ironman | 5 | 2 | 6 | 3 | 2 | Jock | 6 | 2 | 4 | 2 | 2 | Ladylike (Female) | 4 | 2 | 3 | 5 | 7 | Lucky | 4 | 5 | 4 | 4 | 7 | Meddler | 5 | 3 | 5 | 2 | 2 | Ordinary | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 | Quick | 4 | 7 | 4 | 4 | 4 | Sharp | 4 | 6 | 2 | 7 | 3 | Tomboy (Female) | 5 | 5 | 2 | 3 | 3 | Twisted | 2 | 6 | 2 | 5 | 6 | ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ii. Bestiary/Monster Medals ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ There are lots of creatures in Dragon Warrior 3, all with different 'styles' of attack & stats even if they look the same (and where's my favourite Dracky?). Due to the time constraint, I'll be covering only the monsters up to where the walkthrough had covered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Medal #1: Slime ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HP : 8 MP : 0 ATK : 4 DEF : 5 AGL : 9 EXP : 6
