Now, I am led to believe, thanks to The True Mecha Sonic of GameFAQs.com
message boards, that there is a VisualBoy Advance coding method to pick which
Emerl skills you want.  I have tested these codes, and post that they work, and
I am doing this purely for the sake of experimentation, not to encourage ROMs
or cheating or hacking of games in any way.  Right,
Here is the working of a VBA code:

Lets say we want Knuckles's Fight Pose.
We enter the code:

0300226E:09

Most of you think.oO{Hmmm... Just some random numbers} But it's a lot more
easier than you think it is. See it like this:

XXXXXXXX:YY

Now, you may do this in maths or maybe science, where you do co-ordinates on
graphs, with an X and a Y axis.  Now think of a map of where Saddam Hussein is
hiding (He was caught the moment I started writing this guide :)).  The X
co-ordinates are a patch of land.  Y is how deep into the land.  Well, the X's
are the address.  The address means where the object (In this case a skill) is
located in the ROMs data.  The Y's are quantity. 09 = 9, like 01 = 1.
But, instead of 10 = 10, 0A = 10.  I'll give a quick runthrough:

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,1A,1B,1C.....
FFFFFFFFFFFFF
etc.

you get the picture.  Since the number of a skill possible is 9, I have put 09
after all the codes.  Put 00, and you can see the skill, but you can't equip
it.  Put 0A or higher if you want to experiment.  I really do not want to try
that myself.

So, you got the skill adress.  You can see it like this:

And you get the picture, but that goes on for ages, like sprite locations,
sprite co-ordinates damage done, damage taken, jump height, sprite speed, etc.
EVERYTHING can be altered by VBA coding, but it just gets harder the deeper you
go, and it will take you a week to find out one bit of code if you go to deep.

Q: The code doesn't work!
A: Either you mistyped it, which is highly probable since I test these codes,
or contact me via E-Mail.  Its in the Contact section.  You may also have a
different version of the ROM.  Remember, this is Sonic Battle (J) (Eurasia)

Q: How do you know the names of the codes if its in japanese?
A: I can speak French.  No I jest, the options menu allows language change.

Q: I can't tell which is the option menu
A: when the menu appears, go left one, its a peach colour

Q: Whats the point in this? Wouldn't it be better just to use an all skills
code?
A: This FAQ is a detail of every skill, and a code to obtain them.  Use them to
look good in front of your mates, 'cause I highly doubt they'll believe you
managed to get all skills in one day without cheating.

Q: I can't tell which one is the language option
A: Do you want me to wipe your ass aswell? Does your mum still breast feed you?
Jeez.  Its the first option. Look closely, it says language at the top.  Its
kinda hidden because the option sticks out.

2.0                            Sonic's Skills
###############################################################################

Rating: 6/10.  Sonic is a fast character (Duh...).  His skills are well
               balanced and are very good for beginners to the game.  Also
               Emerl's base moves and the Ultimate moves are just slower and
               faster versions of Sonic's.  Problem is against stronger enemies
               battles will take longer due to his lack of strength.  His
               healing isn't all that good either.  Stick to running around the
               arena. Remember being hit in the air is harder, so keep higher
               unless attacking.
