It seems we will be recalling Samus first adventure from the NES days, which I sadly never had but get to enjoy it here today ^_^. This time I'm going to do a different format than last time and if you feel that this format is craptasticle i'll re-do the guide and re-make the format to the old one. So one section will be Missiles, another one will be Energy and the other will be P.Bomb. I would also like to thank all of you people for the e-mails that I had gotten from you I really appreciated it and I was very happy to help you. Though I only got 1 negative feedback his was also greatly appreciated as it pointed out my mistakes of what I had done. There will still be jokes, but not that many. I will stick to the guide and to the point. I will also try to be as descriptive as I can with the guides. Hn... anything else...uh... oh yeah while im playing this I'm having subway for lunch and I switched to Geico and saved some cash on my sandwich insurance. Note: To Find which tank you're exactly looking for hold ctrl and hit F and the find box will open. So you want to find missile tank 1? type in the box MT1. Energy tank 5 ET1 and so on and so on and so on. Note 2: You do not have to get everything exactly how I got it. If you noticed 3 of the missile tanks were done by accident I just bombed myself to them when I really needed was power grip. So if you see something out of place don't worry about it. Most of you people already finished this game so you can just use this to get your 100%. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Intro=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=History=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 2/04/2004 - I start to right the guide and I am obsessing for R-Type Final. 2/07/2004 - I finished the guide and the game in the span of 3 days. (Talk about a rush job). 2/10/2004 - Fixed a huuuuuge mistake thanks to DBM11085. Changed P.Bomb tank 3 to Super Missile 15. Fixed a few spelling errors here and there. 2/11/2004 - Added an alternate method to ET10 and PB7. (Don't worry you two you've been credited go take a look) 2/12/2004 - Added a new tank that i had forgot to write down from before Missile Tank 19 (MT19) 2/15/04 - Added Alternate methods to PB7, MT48, SM14. 2/16/04 - Added a better detailed description to MT45. 2/22/04 - Fixed the mix up with PB7 and SM14, added a hint from goatbert, Added upgrade total right before the walkthrough. 4/12/04 - I made an update but I don't know where it is >_< 4/14/04 - fixed a few spelling and number errors. Fave a much more detailed description of SM3. 11/28/08 - ::coughs:: 4 Years later and I'm still getting hints and tips for this game. But yes, an easier way to get MT29 earlier than I thought you could from fusion. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=History=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= MUST READ: This quick hint is very vital to getting a lot of the tanks or getting to new areas in the game I like to call it a recharge this move was borrowed from Metroid Fusion where you had to get to the other terminal while only using your Speed Booster. To do a recharge: You must be charged up first and whenever you see a ramp of any kind go to the bottom of it and do a shoulder tackle towards it. Once you're on the ramp quickly duck down and you're charge will renew. You can do this as much as you want. (And no you won't lose health) To do an air bomb: You plant a bomb under you and when you fly in the air quickly add another bomb and try to bomb yourself into the air to reach an item. I am willing to make videos of certain tanks you are having trouble with. The only thing is you need xvid to view them. Another odd fact...I seem to have 9 missile tanks documented in Norfair...yet there are 13...if you see the mistakes e-mail me... If you see any errors or want to add something to Super Missile Tank number 3 or want to add your own detailed description please feel free to e-mail me about Super Missile Tank number 3 you will be fully credited. When you are e-mailing me about a tank PLEASE for the love of bionicles put the name of the upgrade and the number. Please don't just give me a description of where it is. Good Ex: I need help with MT15, or Power Bomb 6. Bad Ex: I need help with that missile in Brinstar. (There are a crap load of missiles in brinstar) PLEASE GIVE ME TANK NUMBERS WHEN YOU E-MAIL ME I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!! If you don't give me the number and name of the Tank I will not help you. DO NOT DOUBLE E-MAIL ME! I hate it when people do that if i don't get around to you the first time just wait...If you tend to act up talk in caps and get in my face just because i tried to correct you i will no longer put out my e-mail address in these faqs and take them out of user profile and my other metroid fusion guide. Also if you mailed me about something and it's not here mail me again sorry i had to clean out my mailbox. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Walkthrough=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Totals: Missiles: 50 Super Missiles:15 Energy: 12 Power Bombs: 9 D) -------------------------------------------------------- Missile: Tank 1 (MT1) Location: Brinstar Through the room that has the whole place rumbling and ceiling looks like it's about to collapse. Right in the middle of that lava pool. We'll refer to this as the Ruin room. Skills: None How to Get: Continue down the room jump on it and snag it. (Yes snag it is indeed back) Tank 2 (MT2) Location: Brinstar Right after that room with those fly coccoons(if you know the specific name of em mail me) and that room with that spikey thing at the bottom of the screen. You'll be greeted by a wall. Skills: None How to Get: Shoot the bottom part of the wall to reveal your missiles. Tank 3 (MT3) Location: Brinstar Right after you get your morph ball bombs. Notice that under the Chozo there are small gray blocks with a red dot in the middle. Those are bomb blocks and you can only be destroyed by your bombs. Tank 4 (MT4) Location: Brinstar Remember that room where it had a thin piece of land holding you up? Go back there and aim at the floor and start shooting. A block will be destoryed go down and you will land on this platform going farther down, jump towards the right and you will notice your tank missile. Now you will have to be kind of quick about this, roll into a ball and drop off the cliff the one where your missiles are. As you're dropping keep pressing your fire button and make a few bombs. The wall will explode, quickly jump back on the platform using that jutting type wall to your left, roll back into a ball drop from the cliff again but this time hold right and you will enter the small space and get your missiles. Tank 5 (MT5) Location: Brinstar Make your way to the very top of Brinstar(to the point you see a float roach once you see them you go to the door on the right). You will start to go into an area that's a neon green and filled with spike bugs. Make your to the save point. Head to the next room to the right and you will see your missiles. Note: Before we go off to Norfair let's go back to the very first chozo as there is a tank that's to be snagged. Skills: Bombs How to get: Roll into a morph ball(roll into the hands of the chozo if you need the health). Bomb the 2 blocks and you'll end up in another room. Bomb the first gray block and when it's destroyed place another one and you will do what I like to call a bomb jump(which we will refer to this from now on. Move to the platform to the left once you're air borne and do the same thing as before to the next gray block. And bam you third missile tank. Tank 6 (MT6) Location: Brinstar Starting from Energy Tank 2 make your way back. Until you come to the first float roach that you see. Notice for some odd reason there's a little box thing at the top? Well that's where we need to go. Skills: Bombs, or Power Grip, Ice beam. How to get: This is going to be just as tough as getting that energy tank. Make sure that the float roach is out of your way. Place 1 bomb wait a few moments....than place a few more and keep tapping your bomb button until you get up there bomb the small block and get ready to kill off a bunch of fungy monsters(those small things) and darts(those things on the ceiling) and spike monsters...god I just make stuff up don't I?) Okay make your way through the passage ways and stand on those crumbling blocks. Notice that there is something else there but we can't get that now. Alternate Way: Turns out all you need for this part is the Ice beam. Shoot the Float Roach jump on it and jump up to that box and bomb it. Tank 7 (MT7) Location: Norfair Instead of going towards the save point room go to the room on the left and make your way down the hall. Yes another air bombing tactic is needed here. Skills: Bombing How to get: Just like before place a bomb wait a few moments after that keep placing more bombs until you can reach the missile. Alternate way: Just have your power grip technique jump up and grab it. Blah believe me I do a lot of things backwards. But eh... Tank 8 (MT8) Location: Crateria Right after you get your first Unknown Item. Skills: Bomb, Unkown item How to get: Notice those glowing blocks that kind of look like encyrptions of chozo's on them? Shoot those blocks and the block where your missile tank is. And drop down on your missile to snag it. Tank 9 (MT9) Location: Crateria In that pool with all of those shark type fish. Skills: None How to get: As soon as you come through the blue door head down into the pool and kill of the shark fish because they'll most likely come after you anyways. Shoot at the bottom of the floor and a hole will open up. Continue shooting and bombing your way through and you'll be in a small room with your missile tank in it. Tank 10 (MT10) Location: Norfair From that room with a purple fire gremlin that's crawling on the wall on the ahead of you. Skills: Power Grip Jump up towards the wall fall down the corridor kill off a few enemies and make your way to the door. There will be a sewer hole there so watch out for that and a few fire floaters make your way past the floating platforms and at the end of the hallway is your missile tank. Tank 11 (MT11) Location: Norfair Skills: Power Grip, Ice Beam How to get: After you finish getting your ice beam(hehe...ice cream crap..now i want some macademia brittle) Make your way on to the chozo statue. Just as soon as you go past it there is a purple float roach. Freeze it so it's near the wall to the right. Hold the L button and shoot and your missile should appear jump up and snag it. Tank 12 (MT12) Location: Norfair On your way back to Brinstar notice that lava monster at the bottom trying to get out. Skills: Ice Beam How to get: Shoot the floor and let it jump up. Notice how far it can go, shoot it just as it's turning back to go into the lava to freeze it. Jump on it and jump onto the next platform and your missile is sitting ever so snug into a tight corner. Tank 13 (MT13) Location: Brinstar Remember those 2 float roaches from Tank 5? Well since we have the Ice Beam let's go up there. Jump up and grab onto the ledge and roll in. Go down the cavern to get your next set of missiles. Skills: Ice Beam How to get: Freeze the 2 float roaches and hop on them to get to the very top Tank 14 (MT14) Location: Kraid Go to the first save room of Kraid Skills: Bombs How to get: Don't ask me how I found this out, but I just did on my first time through the game. Anyways when you get to the save room roll into the corner. Place a bomb and hold left, you'll enter a small duct. You will be greeted by small blocks bomb those also to find ::insert that I found something theme here:: your missile tank. Tank 15 (MT15) Location: Kraid The door to the right of the save room. Skills: Missile, and 1337 jumping skeelz (no not really >_>) How to get: Shoot the red door with a missile. Go in and jump from platform to plat form and you will soon see your missile tank. Tank 16 (MT16) Location: Kraid Along that looooooooooooooong tube of float roaches. Skills: Bombs How to get: Bomb the corner of the tube and you will fall through. Put yourself into the MB shooter (morph ball) place a bomb and you'll be shot into the air. Notice that there is a Missile Tank to your left. As soon as you hit the ceiling let yourself fall back into the tube, and just as soon as you enter it keep holding left. Roll down and get your next missile tank. Tank 17 (MT17) Location: Kraid Go back to the entrance of Kraid. Once you're at the top go 3 doors down(heh 3 doors down the band!) and enter. This room will be filled with green hoppers take them out. Skills: Bomb, and a bit of timing How to get The first platform you see is collapsable so go down and take out the hoppers. Travel up to the platform that has the red button. Place a bomb on top of it and keep placing bombs so you can catch yourself into the zip line. Now once that happens and your just above the missiles press the jump button and Samus will release her self and drop down on the missile tank. *Splat* Tank 18 (MT18) Location: Kraid Go one floor up from tank 17. Take the zip line across and shoot the blocks that are comming towards you..or you're going towards. Skills: Missiles How to get: Follow the path upwards. And you are soon greeted with a big friggin hopper that's kind of difficult to beat. Once it starts to turn dark red you know it's dead but also it gets kinda pissed off when it's about to die thus he's in berserk mode. Kill it and travel up to meet another one. But this time you have a bit of protection. Use the vent to your advantage and slip in and out to kill it. once he's done travel to the next room and blow the lid off the tube drop down and get your missile. Tank 19 (MT19) Location: Kraid (Thank you ever so much wolvenone27 i mean it) From the first save point room drop down one floor. As soon as you get into the room jump up and shoot the blocks ahead. Jump on over, bomb the block below you and continue through the corridor. Once you are are on the other side jump into the second pool that you see. Skills: Gravity Suit, Speed Booster How to get: Once you're down there clear the path with a ice beam. Once that's done return to the end of the room and put your back against the wall. Start running forward, and just as soon as you are about to hit the wall duck down turn around and do a recharge for the speed booster. Go on the left side of that little hill roll into a ball and do a ball charge attack to the right. Make sure you are rolling on the ground. Tank 20 (MT20) Location: Kraid With a very long zip line but has blocks blocking the zip line. Skills: Bombs How to get: First off we need to rid of those blocks. Notice those green discolored platforms? Bomb the center of it and you will drop into the MB shooter. Once you're in it there are 2 things you need to do. One you need to destroy that block and second destroy the purple float roach. Keep doing that till you get to the end of the platform. Destroy whatever enemies are left and travel back to the end of the platform. If the zip line isn't at the end of platform where the first MB shooter is bring it back there now. Place yourself in there and the MB shooter should shoot you into the Zip Line. The Zip line will carry you towards your Missile. Tank 21 (MT21) Location: Norfair After you get your Hi-Jump. Across the room you'll see your missiles right behind the wall. Skills: Hi-Jump. How to get: Jump over the ledge and land on to your missiles. Tank 22 (MT22) Location: Norfair Going into the extremly hot temperature room at the top of Brinstar. Skills: Varia Suit How to get: Make your way across the room. Be careful the pool is still to hot for you to handle. Once you reach the end you'll see you're glorious missiles! Tank 23 (MT23) Location: Norfair Starting from Energy Tank 6. Skills: Speed Boost How to get: After you get your energy tank 6 run back down the hallway, and run back down towards the blue door. Keep firing and you will break the floors under you when you enter the next room. If you look as you fall you will see your misisles. Roll into a ball and get 'em. Tank 24 (MT24) Location: Ridley In a room with 3 ball fires that are bouncing around the room over excited about something. Skills: Bomb How to Get: As you are rolling beneath them place a bomb and that small strip of land will explode. Of course these guys are going to be released but they are easy now that you have you have a wave beam and an ice beam. So take them out jump up the floating pillar and snag your missiles. Note: A super missile tank is in this room but we'll get that later. Tank 25 (MT25) Location: Ridley One room after Tank 24. Skills: None How to get: Notice how the Ice balls are floating around that one pillar? Destroy only one of them. But when the 2nd one comes close to range shot it once to freeze. Jump on it and jump up to get your missiles. (Why does this feel like Double Dare to me...?) Note: This is also where you can get your super missiles Scroll down to super missiles (SM) Tank 26 (MT26) Location: Ridley After Exiting the room from getting energy tank 8, go down one level and enter the door down there. You will be in a room filled with pipes and lava pits galore. So make your way down the hallway as every other pipe has something in it. And they sometimes come from behind. Skills: None How to get: Nothing special at all. You will find it once you get on the second platform of pipes. You will see it sitting there with all of it's majesty. (Trogdorrrrrrrr!) Tank 27 (MT27) Location: Ridley From Super Missile Tank 2 travel up a few of those platforms until you reach the next door. Enter the door and this room has a bunch of pipes also but at the bottom there is an area that is not mapped. Travel to the second platform of pipes once you do start to bomb the second pipe that you see. You will fall down to a new area, Shoot the purple platform and jump down. (This lava is safe dun worry >_>). Bomb the bottom right corner of this small pool to reveal your next set of missiles. Tank 28 (MT28) Location: Ridley From the first green door of Ridley run a few rooms to the right and you meet a dead end. Even though it's not there is a passageway up top. Just shoot straight up a bit with a missile (you have plenty so eh). If you're missile doesn't explode as it hits the wall but instead it just goes right through that's where you need to go. It's right above the entrance of this room. Freeze a bug and jump up there. Also fire a ice beam up there so it clears out more room for you to grab. Keep bombing and rolling and watch out for the flying insects. Once you reach a pipe stop right there. Skills: None How to get: Notice how bugs come out of there yet there is an unmarked space on your map? You need to get up there by freezing a bug and jump up to the platform up there. Make sure it's not directly under the platform you need to have the bug near the wall so you can get a nice jump up there. Once you're up there Run forward a bit and booya a new set of missiles. Tank 29 Location: Ridley After the very first green door of Ridley. When you come across an energy tank you will fall through I don't think there is a way to get it the moment you see it because of a big gap. But unless you can bomb yourself across that may be the only way to do it. Fall through the floor and run into the next room. You will be in a red room, make your way through this room you'll be in a room with a save point in the next room. Don't go there yet instead drop down. A helpful tip from Fusion! "Very simple: Just freeze one of the wallhugging blobs at the edge. Once done, stand on them to make the gap smaller and simply jump to the other end, grabbing the edge and getting that energy tank. :)" Skills: None How to get: Drop down through the floor and lo and behold(or is that behold and lo) Your missiles are there. Go save if you need to. Now travel up so we can get our next energy tank number 9. Tank 30 (MT30) Location: Norfair Right after you get your screw attack upgrade. Skills: Screw Attack How to get: Right after you get your Screw Attack head out of the room and destroy the super float roaches. Also Destroy the blocks that are holding up your Missile Tank. Okay Now it's time to go back and get some stuff with our new screw attack and anything else that we have missed because those metroids will be hard. Tank 31 (MT31) Location: Brinstar Go back to where Tank 6 was. Okay remember where there was a super missile but you couldn't get it? So we just exited to a few floating platforms, well go back to that section and jump towards the wall opposite wall in ball form. You will enter a small cave. Skills: Bomb How to get: Go towards the float roaches and bomb it. The floor will collapse and also reveal a speed booster block. go under and climb up top and get your missiles. Note: Now let's continue this to get our next super missile. Tank 32 (MT32) Location: Brinstar Go back to the coccoon room with those blue sacks that gave birth to those flies. We're heading back there. Skills: None, but prefarabbly an ice beam but still nothing is required. How to get: When you get up to the first coccoon turn left and jump over to the ledge. Keep holding left and you will enter a hidden area. Blast the coccoon to smithereenies(okley dokley) and snag your missile-roonies. Tank 33 (MT33) Location: Brinstar Go to the location of the Kraid elevator. Once you reach the door leading to kraid's lair stop. Skills: Bomb How to get: Bomb the center of the floor on the left side of the room. When you bomb it you will kind of sink into the ground. The floor will fade and reveal to you an MB Shooter. Go in and charge it up with a bomb and when you are shot off into the air keep holding right. When you start to fall you'll land in the chamber. Go inside and get your missiles. Tank 33 (MT33) Location: Kraid Mini Boss fight with that worm that popped out of the lava and dragged you down and you had to use the zip line to escape from it. Skills: None How to get: Go down the hole where that worm was. Go left and bomb the wall. An opening will be revealed continue through the hole to find a few bug eyes guarding your missile. Take care of them and get your missile. Tank 34 (MT34) Location: Kraid Go back to that room where you had to destroy an unknown block and all those bugs just started to swarm at you. If you look at your map comming from the main elevator of kraid, Go down 3 doors and take the right door. Roll through the vent and down into the pool. Skills: Varia Suit How to get: When you drop down into the pool you will fall to another floor down a type of waterfall. Go left and shoot the super bug eye crawlers. When you reach the end shoot the wall and you find your missile tanks. Tank 35 (MT35) Location: Ridley Head to the map room. But before you do, as soon as you land on the third platform of pipes shoot up. Up above is a platform that gives you just enough space to do a speed boost. First off we need to clear the way. Clear any fire balls or ice balls that may cling to the ceiling of that vent up above. Second open the door. Now we are ready. This may get a bit tricky but it works. And also notice the ramp, we will need that to break a floor ahead. Oh and believe me this is quite long and tedious. Skills: Speed Booster, patience How to get: First off get up into the vent that we just opened. Go all the way to the end. Now start running towards the direction of the door leading to the map room. As soon as you get to the edge, drop down and run towards the map room. Try your best to get to that ramp with a charge still on. Once you land on the ramp make sure you're at the end of the ramp or else you won't run on the ramp instead you will do a straight shoulder tackle.. Now Do a shoulder tackle up the ramp and as soon as you enter the map room shoot like a mad man (or samus in this matter). You will open another door, when you enter the next room you will break through the floor and fall in some lava. Don't worry this is the safe stuff. When you drop down put your back against the wall shoot the door amd start to run in. Once you reach the end of the hallway duck down to keep your charge inch yourself a little bit more to the end and jump up. You will smash through a small ceiling. Quickly Hold right and role into the hole. Now becareful because there are collapsable floors. Roll right and keep holding the right d-pad and you will fall on another platform. Now the small Square ahead of you is a semi-collapsable block. It will take a few moments to break so hurry up and roll on and jump up to the ledge above. Now we're back into a ball about to roll down. Not just yet, be ready to go back to regular form and hang off the ledge. Now aim right and shoot a rocket at the small block. Roll into the ducts ahead. Bomb the blue block to reveal that you need to shoot it with rockets. This is where it gets complicated. You will see a missile tank in front of you but don't get that right now. First off above that first missile block is a shootable floor what you need to do is roll toward the collapsable blocks(I suggest you inch yourself towards the end of the vent to see where it starts so you can get ready. Now as you start falling down the collapsable blocks you need to shoot at the missile block while holding left. When you get to the near bottom you will latch onto an edge. Quickly grab yourself up. Now the spot where you will need to shoot the missile block is another semi-collapsable floor. Quickly roll on it, change back to regular form, aim up with a rocket and fire, quickly jump and latch on to the edge. Now the rest is easy, shoot another rocket up to destroy another block and one more for your missile tank. Jump up there and grab them. Tank 36 (MT36) Location: Ridley Same room Skills: reflexes How to get: Now to get the missiles at the bottom, Do the same thing as you did before by rolling on the collapsable floor, change back to regular form and hold left, as soon as you latch onto the ledge roll up. And than roll straight towards the next set of missiles. Ugh man...that was tedious i know i know..just for those 2 things blah. Give yourself a pat on the back for this one I know I did lol! Tank 37 (MT37) Location: Chozodia When you are dropping down that long chamber. Notice while you are falling there is an odd space in the wall on the left. Skills: Space Jump, Missile How to get: Space jump up to the space above. Shoot a missile at the corner and roll in there to find your next set of nikes.. I mean missile upgrades. Tank 38 (MT38) Location: Crateria Comming from Power Bomb 7 run down the hall to get a speed boost. When you get to the door blast it. As soon as you get through press down to hold your charge. Skills: Speed Boost, Quickness How to get: Roll into a ball and drop down to the next level(be sure you are still charged, when you drop down to a platform below, jump up in ball form and hold left when Samus stays afloat in the air. You will smash through a few speed walls. Watch out as there are collapsable blocks so keep holding left so you can fall on your missile tank. Note: Go back to that corridor that we used to pick up our speed booster and continue to Super Missile 11. Tank 39 (MT39) Location: Kraid Go to Kraid and when you step off the elevator jump down to the second door on the left. Run all the way to the left and jump down in the pool. Put your self all the way into the wall on the left. Skills: Gravity Suit, Speed Boost How to get: Run all the way down the hall and you you start charge press down. Turn around and do a should dash, When you are over the hill press down again to maintain a second charge. Turn around once more roll into a ball jump in the air in ball form and hold right. Keep holding right and you'll smash through to get your next set of missiles. Tank 40 (MT40) Location: Norfair (Thanks zeroach) Go to the very first first green door of Kraid. You will be in a extremly hot room and it's very hot in here believe me no matter where you step. I suggest you have you have your gravity suit for this. Or unless you want to get this sooner and don't mind losing a ton of health go ahead. Skills: Gravity Suit, Space Jump How to get: Space jump across the room and when you get to the last concrete platform turn around and shoot at the pillar in front of you aim at the top corner of it. You will find your next missile upgrade. Tank 41 (MT41) Location: Norfair (Thanks zeroach and hounddog88) From the map room drop down one level into the pool and through the little square. Pass through the super float roaches and drop down into another pool. Drop down from the last block and shoot a missile at the floor. A hole should open up. Drop down and shoot another missile at the floor. Follow the path to find a door, jump up a few platforms when you see a small place you can roll through go on ahead but watch out the floors are collapsable. Skills: Gravity Suit, Missile How to get: Continue to roll through the corridor. When you reach under the missile bomb the floor. While you are falling through the floor hold R and unroll into regular form quickly aim at the missile above. Shoot the wall to your left and roll out. Get back up and by the time you get up the the stable block should of regenerated so you can just go in there and get your missiles. Note: Drop down one platform and walk towards the wall. Aim diagonolly with a missile. Continue to shoot the wall with missiles. Continue to P.Bomb 9. Tank 42 (MT42) Location: Norfair (Thanks zeroach) Starting from the map room: Drop down in the pool, fall through the invisible hole, watch out for the float roaches and travel down one floor and exit out the first blue door you see. Make your way through the lava pit. When you reach the next room shoot at the floor near the door in front of you and drop through. You'll be in another room full of lava and lava dragons and lava jumpers. Skills: Gravity Suit How to get: When you get to the third platform of this room shoot at the wall to reveal your next set of missile tanks. Jump towards it grab on the ledge and pull yourself up towards the missiles. Tank 43 (MT43) Location: Norfair (Thanks zeroach) Starting from the last missile tank 42: Continue making your way down room until you reach 2 small platforms. Watch out for the walking fires. Skills: Gravity Suit How to get: Blasts all the walking fires and jump on to the blue platform and there on the platform are your next missile upgrades. Tank 44 (MT44) Location: Norfair From Super Missile 13: Shoot at the wall to the left. Skills: Gravity Suit How to get: After you shoot at the wall to the left climb in and run down the corridor to see your missiles happily awaiting for you to whisk em away. Tank 45 (MT45) Location: Ridley Go back to the save point of ridley's room. Go back 1 room and hug up against the wall. Start to run and keep shooting. You should start to charge when you get to a hill type room. Turn back and go out the door with your charge. Skills: Speed Boost, Space jump How to get: Go back to the Save Room the one right before Ridley Go one room to the left Shoot the door and keep running past the save room, shoot and the next room, and in the next you will see a type of hill By the time you reach this room you should be charged up, duck down shoot the door behind you and exit. As soon as the next screen loads up jump into the air. You should smash through a small platform and hit the ceiling and drop back down on the regenerated platform. Make your way to the door on the other side of the room. Run down the hallway blasting those jumpers, go to the next room Jump onto the platform in front of you turn around and jump towards the jutting ceiling in front of you. Climb up roll in and jump up. Bomb the block to reveal your power bomb. Tank 46 (MT46) Location: Ridley The next room after tank 45. When you move into the room you will see a missile up ahead. Roll into a ball and under the wall, quickly change back to regular and latch on to the ledge ahead. Jump to the right ledge and jump up to the missiles at the top. Tank 47 (MT47) Location: Ridley From Tank 46: Roll down to the first ledge on the right and latch on. Shoot down so you can destroy a block. Skills: None How to get: Drop down quickly and while falling roll into a ball and quickly. Keep holding right and you should move in towards your missile. Tank 48 (MT48) Location: Ridley Go to the save point all the way at the bottom of Ridley. Go one room to the left. Skills: Speed Booster, extreme quickness, Space Jump Note: Theres a small trick that I like to call recharge. This move is borrowed from Metroid Fusion. How to get: Turn around and shoot the blue door. Turn around hold L go to the tip of the platform you're standing on shoot once. A hole should open up in the ceiling, Jump up and run down until you reach a wall. Turn around and and run back towards the save point room. Once you get to the end of the platform duck down and go towards the blue door leading to the save room. Quickly run in. do a recharge off the ramps in here. Go to the next room, quickly jump up the platform and to the platform in front of you. And jump up to the blue platform above. Now quickly jump in the air and becareful of the ice and fire balls. When you jump in the air quickly press up and Samus will float in the air. While she is there hold the right button and you should smash through the wall. Well now that we got our foot in the wall let's get our next missile shall we? Shoot the blue door in front of you run inside as soon as you charge up change into the morph ball, and roll under the wall quickly jump up and Samus should rocket up towards the ceiliing. As soon as you hit the ceiling hold left. Now here goes the tricky part. Bomb the wall in front of you quickly roll over the collapsing blocks. Once you roll under the wall change back to normal jump up and grab the ledge. Space Jump up continously until you see 2 blocks that are not collapsed yet. jump on them and roll in them. The first block is an semi-collapsable block. Don't worry it gives you enough time to wait for the rest of the blocks to finish collapsing. Once that semi-collapsable breaks the next block is a instant breakable. So quickly start to space jump towards the wall grab on and roll down on your missiles. Holy crap..wow... Alternate Method for MT48 (dragonfoxpal): MT48 in Ridley where room has collaspable platform along bombable blocks. I found easier way. For some reason, using Power Bomb only destroys some random bombable blocks to separate those blocks in some series instead of one whole series. Regular-bomb first series then drop down where some blocks have not destroyed. Again some blocks are very random. I succeed to get missile tank with some blocks left. Tank 49 (MT49) Location: Ridley Starting from tank 48 after falling from the floor. Run all the way back to the end of the of the room. Start running towards the door shoot at it and when you get to the next room you should be charged, duck down to stay charged. Notice the indent in the ceiling? Position yourself right under that indent and jump. You will smash through the ceiling and stop at the top. Run inside the door and right back out to regenerate the floor. Skills: Ice Beam, Missile, Space Jump. How to get: Run into the room shooting when you destroy the first block quickly change to your missiles. By now you should be charged up, as soon you get under the blue platform above you start to space jump and make it over that bump in the room. Try to get that row of speed blocks at the end of the hump. Hopefully you made a clear path and can go and get your missile. If not try it again. Tank 50 (MT50) Location: Tourian Go back to mother brains tank. Place a P.Bomb notice that there are speed blocks at the top? Run back one room and we'll start running from there. Skills: Speed Boosting, Precision(good aiming) How to get: Go back one room and when you charge up duck down jump up to the next platform and enter the room of mother brain. Now this is where it gets tricky. You need to aim yourself just in between those 2 speed blocks ahead. And to speed over the only stiff standing pillar near mother brain. It sounds difficult but it's not. Once you get in there place a P.bomb to clear all the debris to find your missiles are burried under the ground snag them and let's get the hell outta here. Alternate Method for MT50 (MrTwitch17): I figured out an alternate method for snagging Missle Tank #50 in Tourian. Like you said, Mother Brain's tank is where you noticed this, but in the next room, there're six blocks concealing that hidden wall, and you only need the top few in the descrption you gave, so I fugured there might be another method of getting in there, for someone who may have a lack of precision. Case in point, you use the pre-previous room on the right to get the head start like you said, but, as you reach the point where you stop, screw stopping, literally. Screw attack right through the speed block ceiling into the next room as you're boosting, then continue through the "Mother Brain Sanctum", space jumping at top speed over the green acid, hurdling the stiff pillar, and ducking the low ceiling at the end into the next room where you can comfortably slam through the large target of six blocks, coming to a stop as you please. Shooting the floor out, you find your prize. Now, you can get the hell out of there. E) --------------------------------------------------------- Energy: Tank 1 (ET1) Location: Brinstar After Tank 2 and the second spike worm fight. Skills: Missiles How to get: Fight the Spike worm boss until it runs away. When it leaves run to the right to see your first energy tank. Jump on em and be happy that you got your first E.tank...you're gonna need it. Tank 2 (ET2) Location: Brinstar Back to where the first Chozo was. And it's time to get the infamous energy tank in the ceiling. Skills: Bombs How to get: Shoot the ceiling and air bomb your way up to it. Tank 3 (ET3) Location: Kraid In the room where we power up the zip lines. Skills: None How to get: Once you power up the elevator shoot the red dot above your head. It will bring the zip line over. Jump onto the zip line and it will automatically take you into your E.Tank. Tank 4 (ET4) Location: Kraid Going back towards the entrance of kraid. Go back to that 3rd door but this time we'll take the door to the right. Skills: Speed Booster How to get: As soon as you enter the room start running towards the right and don't let go at all. As soon as you reach the end of the platform jump and you will most likley break a few rocks opening up a passage for your energy tank. Tank 5 (ET5) Location: Brinstar Right after you get you're varia suit travel down into the pool and you will see an energy tank. Skills: Varia Suit How to get: Go into the pool. Notice that in between those jutting rocks there is one space that doesn't have any rocks. Bomb it and crouch down and shoot the floor in front of you. Take out the rest of the blocks with your bomb. Go in and snag your energy tank. Tank 6 (ET6) Location: Norfair After defeating the second worm that is blocking the way to Ridley. Skills: Bombs, Wave Beam How to get: To defeat the worm push it back with your wave beam. Once it's far enough roll into a ball and roll away while placing bombs. Keep repeating and it will explode!(like bombastic) Just above that coccoon shoot a missile and your energy tank will be there. Tank 7 (ET7) Location: Ridley A room from Ridley's lair. Go in and get your unknown item. Skills: Unkown Item 3(Kinda) How to get: Once you get unknown item 3 notice that there is one block already glowing in front of you. Hn...intresting shoot it.. BAM! You have an energy tank. Tank 8 (ET8) Location: Ridley A few rooms after the save point from Ridley's lair. You will come to a room with a HUUUUUUUGE GROUP of enemies in a box. The way to get rid of them is you can A) Kill them with your ice wave or B) Kill them off with your Speed Boost and collect the insane amount of health they will give you. Just back up a few rooms and get some running speed to demolish them. Anyways go one room over and you will see a red pipe. Skills: None How to get: Notice where there platform starts to turn green. Run a little bit and shoot at the green floor. A hole will open, drop down and you will be under the pipes and as you go a bit farther you will find your Energy Tank. Tank 9 (ET9) Location: Ridley Starting from the save point start to climb up those floating pillars killing the balls and falling from that fake floor. When you enter the room a inectoid fly will be hovering about. Kill him off, notice those small blue squares on the next wall? Bomb those- wait a tic OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL IS THIS THE ROAD IS ATTACKING MEEEEEEE. I mean shoot through the wall because there is a crap load of ice balls and fire balls lurking around in there. Bomb the next corner of the wall again and you will notice another insectoid bug. Shoot him and exit out the room. W00t our energy tank laying out our feet and this time we won't fall through the ground ;). Alternate method for ET9 (thanks to myrmidon): if you watch where you are walking you can reach it from the far ledge. As you are a bout to fall the floor coloration chages. if you jump from there you can get the tank without the extra work. Tank 10 (ET10) Location: Chozodia Starting from the room before Mecca Ridley: Go back outside from the room you just came from and go towards the next door, as soon as you reach the blue door bomb the floor. Notice there are a bunch of speed blocks remember where those blocks are. And notice on the floor are those ancient writings again as we are going back take note to the second ancient writing from those speed blocks they look like this on the floor ||||. Skills: Space Jump, Speed Booster, and a lot of space jump skills, and a butt load of patience How to get: Go back to the room before Mecca Ridley and put your back against the wall. Now start running. Keep your eye on the floor as you're running, the first ancient writing will have |||, the next will be |||| ||||, and the next will be ||||, on the next |||| jump up and hold left(Believe me a took me awhile to pin point this down). Okay we're down the hole right? Now if we touch those censors of course we will alert the space pirates but also lock up our energy tank even if we go up and kill the 2 chozos. The alarm will still be on and you won't get your energy tank at all and we will have to start this all over again. So what you need to do is...you guessed it, space jump in between the censors. Now the vertical sensors(the ones going up and down like so |). You can hang off of those and use it like a checkpoint. There is another one farther down the room and you could use that as a checkpoint. Now there will be 2 censors in a smaller space. My advice rapidly tap your jump button or find your own little method. Once you reach your energy tank snag them and leave and don't worry about the censors. Just go on ahead and destroy the space pirates. Alternate (easier) Method: Thanks to aamaralc543 for this one! What I did is run and jump to blow the hole in the floor as your FAQ says, but once you do that, go back up to the other end of the room. Then run all the way left, charge up, then jump down into the hole. You have to space jump so that Samus is basically in front of that first ledge, without being too low that you hit the sensor. Then you just fire yourself horizontally with the charge and you fly right across (right under the vertical sensors too) to the energy tank. No need for goofy jumping through all the sensors. Tank 11 (ET11) Location: Chozodia Go back to that glass tube that you break with a power bomb (if you've already done it don't worry you don't have to do it again). When you drop down go left go towards the wall and place a p.bomb. You will go through a secret corridor. Drop down and you will find those annoying electrodes, kill them off with your screw attack and continue to the room towards your right. You'll find some red bug eyes kill them all off and continue up the corridor. Don't blast open the door just yet. Skills: P.Bomb, Screw Attack, Speed Booster How to get: Once you reach the end of the corridor with those red bug eyes make sure the door that you just came through is opened. Run back down the corridor and when you get to the next room you should be charged, duck down and position yourself so that you can shoot up through that tube you just came down from (not the glass one the one we just dropped from). You will break through one of the floating platforms and re-enter that tube we fell through and smash through that ceiling to find our next energy tank. Note: Go back down to this area and past the corridor with the red bug eyes, you will come to another room with a few more electrodes. Drop down and go into the next room. This will lead us to super tank 10. Tank 12 (ET12) Location: Chozodia Go back to where you got your suit back but fall down into the pool. Skills: Speed Boosting, Space Jumping, Recharging How to get: Okay this is how it is put your back against the wall. Start running down the corridor, as soon as you get to those big brown blocks duck down and charge. Space Jump up to the next platform. Do a shoulder tackle going left(Jump in the air and hold left) as soon as you hit the ramp jump up to the next platform. Do a recharge move there(what we just did before). Jump up to the next platform and do another recharge. Jump up one more plat form and do a recharge on both ramps for safety precautions. Drop down to the nearest platform while holding left. You should land near a ramp. Recharge on that and quickly drop down to the platform on the right. Jump in the air and hold right and you shoulder tackle through a few screens(gee I wonder what those space pirates are saying when they see Samus in the sky). As you crash through a few more screens you will be in a purple and you're energy tank will be in there. F) --------------------------------------------------------- P.Bomb Tank 1 (PB1) Location: Chozodia Keep going left until you see a glass tube. Fall down and you will be in a red room with small corridors for moving around in. Roll down them, but what's this...IT'S THAT SPACE PIRATE WITH OUR P.BOMB! Skills: Space Jump How to get: Go into the next room and you will notice that your P.bomb is safe guarded by sensors. Now you can be A) Rambo or B) Solid Snake about this. If you take the Solid Snake way space jump all the way to the top and you will notice that the sensors end. Drop down in between them and get your P.bomb, now space jump your way out (yeah I never got it either but eh lol). Now the Rambo way cross the sensors and kill 2 space pirates. So you're choice ;p. Tank 2 (PB2) Location: Chozodia Go to the next room from where you got your first tank of P.Bomb's. Skills: P.Bomb(blah), Space Jump How to get: Go into the room place a P.Bomb and 2 space pirates will drop from the ceiling. Kill them off and space jump up towards the ceiling to see your P.Bomb's(geez why do these Space Pirates like your P.Bomb's so much...) Tank 3 (PB3) Location: Chozodia Go back to where you first started in chozodia. When you reach a screen where you have to roll under the Space Pirate mother ship, jump all the way to the top and on to the mother ship. Skills: P.bomb How to get: Place a p.bomb as you're on the platform of the mother ship. A block will disintergrate and your p.bombs will be revealed. Tank 4 (PB4) Location: Chozodia Reach the section where you have to run through a huge glass tube and a space pirate is underneath you. Go in the middile of the glass, and place a p.bomb run to the right and place another p.bomb. Skills: P.Bomb, Space Jump How to get: Run into the room after you have placed another p.bomb and a few space pirates will drop from the sky oddly enough. There are about 3-4 of them, when they are dealt with space jump all the way up to the top and you will find your P.Bomb on a altar. Tank 5 (PB5) Location: Chozodia Go back to where you got Missile Tank 37. When you get there exit out to the other side and you will be greeted with a space pirate. Go up the the next to last floor of the chamber(not the one at the tippy top but on top of those stones with writings on them. There will be 2 more space pirates kill them off. Notice those big slabs of stones? Place a p.bomb and destroy them. A small vent will be revealed. Crawl through and notice those 2 Space pirates above? Blast them and travel to the top most corridor. Skills: P.bomb, Screw Attack, Missile, Ice beam How to get: When you reach the top most corridor, roll all the way to the end notice that theres a missile symbol there. If it's not when you're at the end of corridor shoot at the center of the ceiling with a missile, than shoot an ice wave up there to break up a few more blocks and jump up to the room above. to get your next P.bomb. Tank 6 (PB6) Location: Chozodia After exiting the previous room you will exit to crateria. From the pool space jump up to the opening above. You will see a missile tank but let's not worry about that yet. Screw attack the wall that's blocking you, space jump up all the way to a yellow door and place a p.bomb there. Skills: P.Bomb, Bomb, Screw Attack, Missile How to get: Once you blast open the door with a p.bomb run down the hall and drop down into a room. Go close to the left wall and shoot a missile. Jump in and place a bomb to reveal your next set of P.Bombs. Note: From here we are going to need speed boost continue to Missile Tank 38. Tank 7 (PB7) Location: Crateria Go back to the pool room with those exo-fish inside first let's clear our path. In the next room ahead there is a stump that can't be broken with missiles or super missiles. Continue on ahead until we get out to the rainy area. Look at the big rock ahead of you and look at the corner. Roll into a ball and fit yourself so you take up the whole corner of that rock(believe me being precise here is the key). the rock should look something like this (i'm not very good with ascii but i'll do my best. _ \/ __/ \_ <--you need to be here in morph ball form ( ) | | or here (Thanks too wakka) | | \/ ( <----Door ________| |______ /¯\___( Room with 2 float roaches \_/ and an glowing block---> So head on back to the pool, but what's this? There is some type of block in the way place a p.bomb at the rock and continue down to the pool. When you reach the end turn around and get ready to keep running and shooting. Just keep running and shooting and do not stop for anything. Once you get outside in the rainy area duck down to keep your charge. Jump up to the rock above and roll into a morph ball quickly. Jump in the air and samus will stay in the air for a few moments while she is doing this hold up/left at the same time. Hopefully you got the right angle and you bust through the wall and see your P.Bomb. Alternate Method 1(dragonfoxpal): There are 2 ways to get Power Bomb, but the method is same. Easier if you come from either Tourian or Brinstar(start point). Use Speed Boost to clear blocked boulder in Crateria, so you can have more room to dash instead going by pool. Because what if you failed to clear the blocks up there, you have to try again. Hint from Goatbert: there is a hidden charger under where you first started the game) and charge your way through the blocks into the main area. Now, as you go through, hold down just before you hit the outcropping of rocks. Somersault over that, and you'll notice the space next to you is actually a ramp. Go to the bottom of that ramp, hit A and>right, and as soon as Samus points right, hold down. This will (as you say earlier) give you a brand new charge. Now somersault to the spot you marked on the big rock, turn to a morph ball, hit A and then up and left. Tank 8 (PB8) Location: Norfair Same room as missile 41. Drop down one floor and move towards the wall on the left. Shoot a missile at it and you'll find an opening. Shoot the wall 2 times more with a missile. Skills: Missiles, Space Jump How to get: Enter the room and space jump up all the way to the top of the room. Land on the platform, jump up to the blue brick platform and there are your p.bombs. Tank 9 (PB9) Location: Tourian Go back to where you fought Mother Brain. Don't worry all the metroids are dead now no need to worry. Skills: Super Missile How to get: Drop inside the tank to where mother brain was and right in the center shoot a super missile. Drop down the hole and right there you shall see your next set of power bombs. G) --------------------------------------------------------- Super Missiles Tank 1 (SM1) Location: Ridley From Misile Tank 25 where those 2 ice balls were. Exit the room and re-enter so they ice balls are back but this time we don't kill any of them. Skills: None How to get: Shoot one of the ice balls climb on it and jump up to where your missiles were. Now you can risk it and shave a few seconds off by dropping down and holding left and grab on to the ledge. Or you can be safe and shoot the second ice ball at the bottom and jump off of that. When you are in the next room. You will fight a bunch of purple jumpers so finish them off quickly with some missiles and ice beams. The next room after will hold your super missiles. Sadly... you only get 2. Tank 2 (SM2) Location: Ridley Remember when I said on tank 24 there was a super missile tank? Well we can get it now. Blow up the floor again and kill off the fire balls. But this time travel up to the top corner of the room and bomb it. Jump up and you will notice a small block there blocking a vent. Skills: Super Missile How to get: Super Missile the small block (yes use that precious super missile i know it's scarce). Roll into the vent and bomb again creating a type of circular chain reaction....but what's this? A small block is left? How odd...jump on it and bomb it. OH SNAP it's our super missile upgrades =D. Tank 3 (SM3) Location: Brinstar Skills: Continuing from the missile 31 that we got. Continue going right and exit the room. Once you are outside you should see a blue door shoot it. If you remember correctly this is the room where wyou first fought the spiked worm. Yeah this is it. Skills: Speed Booster, Morph Ball, Accuracy How to get: Remember that room where you first fought that big spikey worm? That's where you run from. But you have to roll into a ball to do it as you are charged. So this is what you do Go back to where first fought the spike worm. Run down towards the end of the hall till you get to a platform you have to jump on. But do not jump on it. Instead just put your back to that wall. Start running towards the door to your left. Keep Shooting so you will open the doors. By the time you get to the pillars in the background you should be charged up. Quickly duck down and roll into a ball. jump up in the air and hold left. Hopefully you will hit the top of the ramp that's just before the blue door. Keep holding left until you go 2 screens to the left. Once you get into a room with those 2 float roaches quickly press down to do another charge. Jump up again and hold left becarefuly not to be hit by the float roaches. Keep Holding left till you get to the small room of your super missiles. I hope this helped. I tried to explain it as best as I can in it's simplest form. Tank 4 (SM4) Location: Norfair Back to the location of where you fought that bug with the vines sticking out of it. If you notice it's now sank and changed into a coccoon earlier. But now it's gone and has laid eggs. Hn...odd...Travel down and keep going. Don't worry about the eggs opening it's a cool effect though lol. When you reach the nest the boss will pop out and hit ya. Skills: Missile, Speed Booster How to get: The main object to destroy it's tail. Dodge it's stinger by rolling ito a morph ball, and as soon as it passes you get up and whip out your missiles and chase the giant bug. It goes left to right and right to left, so think of it always doing this in the room a really big U. Don't worry about aiming just shoot straight. Repeat this proccess. But after awhile it starts to shoot it's stinger at you. Oh god that just stinks -_-...But the stingers are shootable so shoot it when it comes near you. And keep shooting at the tail. Once the tail falls off it will smash into it's own nest and destory the wall. Go ahead and take the super missiles..you deserve it >_>. Tank 5 (SM5) Location: Chozodia After you get back your fully powered suit and are going to go kick some Space Ship Pirate hn...uh....anyways when you are going back to save notice that there is some water under you. Shoot a missile at the platform and drop down. Skills: Speed Boost, Gravity Suit How to get: Put your back against the wall. Start running and you will smash into a wall which has an upgrade to your super missiles. Tank 6 (SM6) Location: Chozodia After falling from that long chamber drop down into the lava and run right. Notice there is a chamber under there. Skills: None How to get: Roll inside that little vent there, hop up a few ledges and booya your next set of super missiles. God I wish we had this on that Mother Brain fight -_-. Tank 7 (SM7) Location: Chozodia Comming from the eye scan chamber: Go into the next room drop down one floor and go into the next room. Notice all of those runes on the wall? Place a bomb and drop down. Skills: Bomb, Missile How to get: You see those blocks with writings on them on the floor? Stand on the middle one and aim at the left wall with a missile. Crawl in the newly found hole and plant a bomb. Booya you're next set of Super Missiles. But what about our friggin POWER BOMBS GAAAAAAAH! Tank 8 (SM8) Location: Chozodia Comming from the sensory room with Space Pirates and electro balls: Starting from the save point go right one room. Bomb the walls and enter through the blue door. Space Jump up to the space pirate above destroying it and the floor. Get on the platform to the left. Skills: Missiles, Ice Beam How to get: Move to the end of that small space and shoot a missile at the crack floors. Look up and you will notice a golden bot at the top. Shoot it once that it goes to the right. Once it settles down shoot it once again so that it goes to the wall on the left, once it's there shoot that small cracked block. Jump up, roll under the wall, don't worry the robot can't hurt you. Jump up to the platform and get your next set of super missiles. Note: Go to the save point at the top of chozodia. When you get to the floor with all those red circles in the background keep going left and you will see a glass tube. Go to P.Bomb 1 for the rest. (Yes I said P.Bomb) Tank 9 (SM9) Location: Chozodia Go to the second yellow door of chozodia. Place a P.Bomb at the door and enter the room. Skills: Space Jump, P.Bomb How to get: As soon as you enter the room place a p.bomb. You will notice that there is a super missile right under the pillar. Space jump to your super missile and climb up and get it. There are a few space pirates down there do what you will with them. Tank (SM10) Location: Chozodia Right after the corridor with the bug eyes, and the next room with the electrodes you will come to a small hill type room. If you shoot at the ceiling something will explode...odd..if you wait awhile a spike monster will crawl out. Skills: Bomb, P.Bombs(optional) How to get: Keep shooting through the ceiling until there aren't anymore explosions (if you want a clear view place a p.bomb). Jump through the hole and crawl up, there might be one more spike monster but he can easily be dealt with. When you travel up the corridor you will come to a fork. Take the right path, when you reach the top go left and place a bomb or a p.bomb(don't know really I placed a p.bomb on the left by accident to see where this tank was). And you will see your super missiles wedged into a corner. Note: Continue to the next room. Tank (SM10) Location: Chozodia Right after Super Missile 10 continue to the next room. Notice all those metal gates at the top all of that is bombable but if you want to make it quick place a p.bomb. Skills: Bomb, P.Bomb(Optional) _ | | _______ Note: Anything that is | | or _______| is considered one beam. So if you see a beam that is sectioned off from the others that's one beam. How to get: Run down to the end of the hallway and bomb the middle beam. Crawl in and bomb the third beam that is going up and than makes a sharp turn to the right. Crawl up, and when you can stand up jump up to the top platform. Jump again to the top level, move over to the third beam on the left and bomb it. Notice it stops short? Jump in there and bomb that last square. That's if you want to conserve your P.Bombs if not just bomb the crap out of everything and make your way through the puzzle. Tank 11 (SM11) Location: Crateria Starting from that same corridor that we used for Missile 38. Go back in there and do the same charge technique from before. Skills: Speed Booster, Space Jump, Quickness How to get: As soon as you duck down quickly start to space jump up to a platform above. As soon as you land jump up and hold right and continue holding right. Samus should start out doing a shoulder tackle, but as she hits the ramp she should start running continue running and smash through the wall. Tank 12 (SM12) Location: Kraid Continue from Missile 40 into the next room. Bomb the bubbly rocks. Skills: Space Jump How to get: Space Jump across the room and you will see a platform with your super missiles there. Tank 13 (SM13) Location: Kraid From the map room keep going straight down the path until you reach a dead end. Turn around and bomb the floor near the door. Drop down watch out for the super float roach and the fire ball. Enter through the door and you will be in a with lava at the bottom. Skills: Gravity Suit, Space Jump How to get: Make your way across the room, and when you reach the end of the platform space jump to the blue brick platform to get your next set of super missiles. Note: At the wall to the left. Tank 14 (SM14) Location: Brinstar (god this one took me a while to figure out i'll put the skills up here just for this once.) Skills: Speed Boost, and timing. Go back to where you first fought that worm boss(the one where you got your charger from). Go outside of that door. Shoot the door and run inside, as soon as you get to the second rock press down and turn around you should be charged. Do the shoulder dash to the left(jump up and hold left). And as soon as you hit the ramp slide your finger(and I really really mean slide or else you'll just hit the ramp)press down. You'll crotch down in a charge shoot the door turn around a down the end of the ramp, quickly roll into a ball jump in the air again hold left and you will smash through the bottom of a rock keep holding left. When you enter the next screen slide your finger to the down button again. You will stop on a ramped rock and you should still be fully charged, quickly jump up and hold left again and you will charge through the float roaches. You will fly 2 screens across and smash through another floor and stop at the feet of a super bomb. Alternate Method 1 (seanyriver6): Insted of doing what u did open the hatch run to the rock run to the other room when u start flashing duck open the hatch then open it from the other side go down the ramp go to morphball jump and hold left. after u get threw the first speed block then push down. go to the next room then u will see a plat form infront of u jump on it do the speed boost then be happy u got it without your hassle. Alternate Method 2(Brigade and Majin for telling me this was in the wrong place) Basically, the setup is very similar. You're in Brinstar next to the Centipede room. You build up a boost in the same manner (by running into the room) and as soon as you hit the outcropping of rock, you duck to save your charge. Now, you have JUST enough time to run back to the left and blast the door open. If you'll notice in the background there are two pillars. If you stop at the pillar closest to the door, you can't see the door, but one shot will still open it. Then, you have BARELY enough time to ball up, hold down, and hop up in the air. This activates the boost, so you can hold left and shoot through the door into the next section. Now, instead of stopping BEFORE the roaches, I found it easier to actually blast though them, and stop, then backtrack to the (slightly) lower tunnel-ramp and again hop-boost. It took me about 10 minutes to get this entire procedure down, and the only problem I had with your method was that the roaches would hit me sometimes, which would make me lose my charge. Tank 15 (SM15) Location: Chozodia Make your way back to the Save Room & Map Room. When you reach the room with the search lights go down to the last level and enter the room. Place a P.bomb and the floor will collapse. Continue to make your way to the Save, Map Room. Skills: Missile How to get: Go into the next room after the map room. Kill a few of the Space Pirates that appear, run to the center of the room and notice that there is a crack in the middle of the room. Shoot a missile at it and a hole will open up. Shoot at it with your ice beam and you will find your next set of Super Missiles.
