I finished the game very quickly finding everything except a few scrapbook pictures. So I thought to myself I should write a FAQ for this game. Not some crappy little one but a big detailed one. There is already only one walkthrough for this game and i have to say a very good one too. I hope mine is just as good. If you have anything to say about this FAQ, anything at all whether it is good, crap, or something you would like me too add e-mail me at my address idiotboy00@hotmail.com Donkey Kong was a smash hit on the arcade machines back in the 1980's and finally got his own game on the Super Nintendo in 1994. This game almost single-handedly saved the snes from the new Sega machines. The game had the best graphics, sound and gameplay on a machine supposably not capable of doing this. Nine years later the game has been ported to the gameboy advance. Now this is where I come in. The Kong Krew| ______________________________________________________________________________ These are the monkeys that assist you on you adventure yo get your banana hoard back. ------------ Cranky Kong ------------ The original Donkey Kong, always complaining about today's modern world and how easy life is. Visit him at his houses one in each world for some helpful tips sometimes. ----------- Funky Kong ----------- Funky Kong, Donkey Kong's bronze tanned, sunglasses wearing friend. Usually hangs out at one of the islands many beaches. Runs his own airline company as well as a fishing mini-game. ----------- Candy Kong ----------- Donkey Kongs girlfriend. She is very fond of diddy. She runs her own dance studio visit her often to win prizes. ______________________________________________________________________________ |3. The Stars| ______________________________________________________________________________ The two main characters of this game. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Donkey Kong =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= His first time as a big star. The Kremlings have got him all angry by stealing his bananas and diddy. Does Donkey have the physical fitness and endurance to out-smart and out-last K.Rool and his Kremlings. Donkey Kong's Moves -------------------- ---- Jump ---- If it weren't for jumping we wouldn't have a game. Both Donkey and Diddy share this move. --- Run --- A simple move to execute yet effective. Hold the B button to make donkey pick up the pace. ----- Swing ----- Jump up and grab a vine to swing to other places. These are useful for exploring. ---- roll ---- When walking tap the B button to make donkey roll. This move is very handy for taking out many enemies. ---- Swim ---- Whilst underwater use the d-pad to swim and the B button to head upwards. You cannot kill any underwater enemies without help. ------------- Throw barrels ------------- Press the b button to pick barrels up. Release it to make donkey throw the barrel. Very useful for taking out enemies. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Diddy Kong =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Donkey's little buddy, he got caught up in this mess when donkey made him do the graveyard shift on the bananas. Diddy wants to be a big star like donkey one day. Donkey would never admit it but he has the skills to do it. Diddy Kong's Moves ------------------- --- Run --- Used to speed through levels or to add excitement. Press B button to run. ---------------- Cartwheel Attack ---------------- Diddy's signature attack. Can take out almost any enemy in the entire game. Except underwater enemies of course. ---- Swim ---- Diddy likes to swim. Diddy is better at swimming than Donkey. ------------- Throw Barrels ------------- Diddy carries barrel in front of himself instead of above his head like Donkey. Which prevents attacks from the front. ---- Jump ---- Diddy can jump higher and further than Donkey because of his smallness. ______________________________________________________________________________ |4. Animal Friends| ______________________________________________________________________________ You have many friends to help you on your epic adventure to get back your banana hoard. These friends are - ---------------- Rambi the Rhino ---------------- A rhino, very useful for bashing into bonus levels, killing baddies and having a bumpy ride. Not the best jumper, so watch out for holes. Pros - Good at bashing stuff Cons - Hard to jump with --------------------- Expresso the Ostrich --------------------- A bird, which can almost fly, he is a good strong jumper, but can't kill many enemies by landing on them. But easy to control Pros - Strong jumper, easy to control Cons - cant fly, can't kill many enemies --------------- Winky the Frog --------------- A frog (what the) who has an almighty jump, and can kill most enemies including those pesky zingers. Pros - Good jumper, can kill most enemies Cons - watch your jumping (I've over jumped a few too many times) ----------------------- Enguarde the Swordfish ----------------------- An underwater buddy, easy to control, fast, and has a nice pointy nose like all swordfish should. Can kill most enemies. Pros - Fast, easy controlling, pointy nose for killing. Cons - Speed is sometimes a trouble for the less experienced players. ------------------- Squawks the Parrot ------------------- Only used in one stage and you cannot ride him. He is found in Torchlight Trouble and he holds up a light for you. Pros - He holds a light Cons - Umm..... ______________________________________________________________________________ |5. Barrels| ______________________________________________________________________________ So many barrels to list in this huge game. They are - =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Everyday Barrels =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -------------- Regular Barrel -------------- This is a normal barrel and is found within just about every level. They are the same as DK barrels except the don't have DK on them and don't give you your buddy back. These barrel break upon impact on anything. ------------------- Steel Rimmed Barrel ------------------- The same as regular barrels but they will not shatter until they hit a wall or fall off a cliff etc. ---------- DK Barrels ---------- These barrels are commonly found throughout every stage. They are refered to as Dk barrels and buddy barrels. They release your buddy when smashed. ---------- Steel Kegs ---------- These are the same as steel rimmed barrels but can be thrown at a wall the jumped on to be ridden. These barrels are not very common. So use them wisely when you get a chance. ----------- Tnt Barrels ----------- A barrel of the explosive kind. They create an explosion upon impact of anything. Very useful for taking out enemies and revealing secret bonus levels. It you put these guys down they have a timed fuse. ------------------------ Automatic Cannon Barrels ------------------------ These barrels are suspended in the air by some invisible force. They have an explosion Cloud on them to signal that if you leap into one of these that you will be shot out straight away. -------------- Cannon Barrels -------------- These are the brother of the automatic cannon barrels. These guys don't shoot you straight back out. But you must line yourself to where you want to shoot. These guys are commonly refered to as blast barrels or launcher barrels. ---------------- Continue Barrels ---------------- These barrels are normally located about halfway through every level. Hit these barrels and if you die you'll start from this point. ------------- Bonus Barrels ------------- These barrels have inside them bonus levels. These barrels are normally hidden in places you don't normally go. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Special Barrels =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------ Warp Barrels ------------ There are one of these barrels located within every stage of the first two worlds. They cannot be seen until they have been touched. They warp you to the end of the level. ----------------- Stop & Go Barrels ----------------- Used in stop & Go station they stop the Rock Krocs stop so you can pass safely. But they only last for a small period of time. ---------------- On & Off Barrels ---------------- Found only in Loopy Lights. They turn the lights back on so you can see. I'm pretty sure every stage is easier with the lights on. ----------------------- Funky's Fishing Barrels ----------------------- Jump into these guys to play Funky's super cooling fishing game. Complete the task to win a prize. --------------------- Candy's Dance Barrels --------------------- Enter these to Dance with candy on her stage. Complete the dance with a high enough score to win a prize. ------------------------- Funky's Aeroplane Barrels ------------------------- Jump into one of these to go back to any world that has already been beaten. They actually look like an aeroplane. ______________________________________________________________________________ |6. Items| ______________________________________________________________________________ There are Quite a few items located throughout the game that do not fit into any other section of my FAQ. Here is a run down of them - ------------- Animal Tokens ------------- There are four different kings of these golden tokens hidden throughout the game. The four types are - Rambi the Rhino - Expresso the Ostrich - Enguarde the Swordfish & - Winky the Frog. Collect four of the same one to be transported to a bonus level of that animal. In these bonus rooms collect hundreds of tiny animal tokens to get extra lives. ------- Bananas ------- The golden bananas, its what this game is based around, yummy delicious bananas. Collect one hundred bananas to earn an extra life. These bananas can be found by themselves or in bunches worth ten. ------------------- Extra Life Balloons ------------------- Throughout the levels in the game, you will come across balloons of different colours. These give you extra lives. This what they are worth. Colour | Num of lives | Rarity ------------------------------- Red | One | Very common Green | Two | Uncommon Blue | Three | Rare | | ------------ Kong Letters ------------ These four letters are scattered throughout each level, collect all four letters in one level to get an extra life. These are also important to getting 101% in the game. That's why my walkthrough is split up like it is. ------- Cameras ------- Do special things in levels eg. Hand slap a klap trap, take out ten kritters etc. To win one of these. They give you pictures in an empty book. ------------- Animal Crates ------------- These are located in many levels. Jump on them to reveal your animal buddy. ----- Tires ----- Tires are found in many levels. Some are movable. These are very useful for getting onto high ledges and finding Bonus Barrels. ______________________________________________________________________________ |7. The Walkthrough| ______________________________________________________________________________ Each level will be split up into The four Kong letters as these are important in getting 101%. Each level will contain a brief description of what type of level, how many bonus barrels there are and the difficulty of the level. ----- Story ----- Story taken from GBA Donkey Kong Manual. I know, lame but I'm to lazy to come up with my own version. Storms lashed the rugged terrain of Kong Island, and outside Donkey Kong's Tree house, Diddy shivered. DK had assigned him to guard duty on this awful night as part of his "Hero Training" and he was not happy about it.... But a rustling in the undergrowth soon brought him out of his reverie. "W-w-who goes there?!? Diddy called. There was no answer but the flashing of reptilian eyes, teeth and claws. Diddy somersaulted into the fray but was quickly overcome by the weight of many scaly assailants. "it'sss the sssmall one... Ssseal him inside this barrel and toss it into the bushies...Donkey Kong's bananas are ours!" came a sinister voice. The next morning, Donkey Kong awoke to the familiar rasping voice of Cranky Kong. "take a look inside your banana cave," Cranky cackled from outside the Tree house. "your in for a big surprise!" Donkey's mind raced as he vaulted to the cave and peered inside. Instead of the dull golden glow of thousand of bananas, there were only a few discarded peels. These had been trampled into the dirt by hundreds of reptilian feet, judging from the many three-toed footprints that covered the damp cavern floor. But what about..... "Diddy... gone... my little buddy..." Dk murmured to himself. He was suddenly filled with conviction. "The Kremlings will pay!" he raged. "I'll hunt them down through every corner of my island, until I have every last banana from my hoard Back!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~World One - Kongo Jungle~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ============= World Summary ============= Kongo Jungle is the home of the Kong family. Many kritters still roam this area ready to kill any kong that walks his way. This world is donkey Kong's first test. This world is good for beginners trying to learn the controls and for getting lots of lives. It contains five different stages of equal difficulty and a World Boss: 1. Jungle Hijinx 2. Ropey Rampage 3. Reptile Rumble 4. Coral Capers 5. Barrel Cannon Canyon 6. Very Gnawty's Lair If you are having trouble with these stages, you may as well turn off the game and save yourself hours of frustration. ============================================================================== Level One - Jungle Hijinx Kongo Jungle ============================================================================== Type - Jungle Barrels - two Difficulty - 10/100 ----- - K - ----- You burst out of your house at the start turn around and go into the cave, there's nothing there of course that's what this whole games about. Exit, jump back up the two step to get back into your tree house and grab the balloon. After exiting jump along the treetops and jump down onto a soft spot where the arrow is pointing to get a steel keg. Throw it at the gnawty and get diddy from the barrel that is marked Dk, go right until you come to kritter walking along a ledge. Jump up and kill him by jumping on his head and grab the first K of the game along with a few bananas. ----- - O - ----- Walk to the edge of the ledge and switch to diddy Kong and jump on top of the closest tree by cartwheeling then jumping. Quickly jump to the tree after to receive a red balloon. From this tree jump onto the two higher trees then do a cartwheel jump into the gap and onto the next tree to get another red balloon. Do another cartwheel jump over the next gap to receive a green balloon worth two lives. You should be able to see the O in the bottom right hand corner of the screen drop off to get it as well as the continue barrel. ----- - N - ----- Throw your buddy barrel to release your friend then head right. Pick up the barrel here and use it to kill the necky that is throwing nuts, then grab the expresso token. After collecting it keep heading right until you come upon a crate that has a picture of a rhino on it. Jump on it and get Rambi. Keep going right and kill the three gnawtys and grab then N on the edge of the platform. Jump of the edge onto more ground, here break the wall with rambi to uncover bonus level 1#. ----- - G - ----- In the bonus level head right collecting the bananas to get the balloon at the end, then exit. You Burst out of the side of the hill and land on the top of some trees with the G. On these trees turn around and walk off the left side of them. You should land in a pit. Hit the right wall with rambi to uncover bonus level 2#. Stop the barrel on the same animal three times to win that token. After exiting, keep heading right. Belt the Klump with rambi. Jump over the gap to collect the bananas then exit the first stage. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bonus Barrels in Jungle Hijinx =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ------- Bonus 1 ------- When you receive rambi the Rhino go right, drop on to the platform and barge down the wall that has the N. ------- Bonus 2 ------- After exiting bonus level one and receiving the G, drop off the left side of the trees then barge the right wall. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Level Warp in Jungle Hijinx =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Take to the trees at the start, jump to the next one then roll jump to the one after. Walk off the right side of this one. ============================================================================== Level Two - Ropey Rampage Kongo Jungle ============================================================================== Type - Jungle Barrels - two Difficulty - 10/100 ----- - K - ----- When you start this stage you notice that it is raining. Jump on the start and walk up it and jump on the trees until you can go no further and collect the bananas on the last one. From here you can see the K floating, drop off the tree and grab the K. Watch out for the armys, use the tnt barrel to blow them up. ----- - O - ----- Use the rope and climb up and jump onto the treetops to grab some bananas. Kill the annoying army jump onto the next tree and then back to the ground. Kill the two kritters here then climb the rope and jump to the right onto the ledge with your buddy. Jump off to the right and grab the next rope, when on it jump backwards if you want to get the rambi token otherwise just jump off at the other side. Kill the army here grab the next rope and swing onto the treetops. Jump to the next tree then over the gap to get the O. ----- - N - ----- Don't keep going but turn around and jump down the gap that had the O to find an automatic barrel that shoots you through the wall and into bonus 3#. In this bonus slide up and down the six ropes to collect the bananas, when you reach the other side collect your N. ----- - G - ----- When you exit the bonus you will be shoot back through the wall and you will miss a big portion of the level. You land on a soft spot and get a tire. Push It along, watch out for the army that attacks you. Use the tire to bounce into the tree, from here jump onto the soft spot to get a winky token. Collect the bananas and grab the next rope. Jump from rope one to two when the zinger is down. Then from rope two to three when the zinger is down. From rope three to the ground when both zingers are down. When you land kill the kritter and jump down the next hole for bonus 4#. Guess which barrel the red balloon is in to win it. After exiting kill the kritter again jump over the hole and keep going right. Kill the last army then climb up the exit and jump on the treetops to get the G. After this exit the level. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bonus Barrels in Ropey Rampage =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ------- Bonus 3 ------- Jump down the Gap with the O above it to be transported by an auto barrel into the bonus. ------- Bonus 4 ------- After the last set of ropes fall down the first gap into a secret barrel. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Level Warp in Ropey Rampage =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= When you come to the first rope of the stage, don't climb it but jump out into the gap to find the warp. ============================================================================== Level Three - Reptile Rumble Kongo Jungle ============================================================================== Type - Cave Barrels - three Difficulty - 15/100 ----- - K - ----- First off grab the barrel and throw it at the snake, collect the bananas and get your buddy barrel and throw it at the kritters coming up the next slope. Kill the next kritter but not with the barrel. Take this barrel down to the bottom of the slope, collect the K and use it on that wall to find bonus 5#. ----- - O - ----- Crawl through the gap, collect the bananas and the balloon on a ledge crawl through the other side and exit. You will be shot over four kritters and will land on a tire. Bounce on this tire to collect some bananas and reach higher ground to the right. Walk forward a bit and bounce on the next tire to reach another high ledge. Grab your buddy if needed then jump off the left side of this ledge to land in bonus 6#. Jump in the auto barrel to be shot through eight more auto barrels. At the end collect the bananas and exit. You are deposited back on the high ledge. Jump off the right side and make your way down the slope killing the three kritters along the way. At the bottom keep going collect the bananas and bounce up to the right on the next tire to make it onto a high ledge. The O is in between two zingers in the next pit with a tire. To reach it jump when the close zinger is low and land on the tire to get it. Bounce out when the second zinger is low and land to safety. ----- - N - ----- When land move right and crawl through the gap collecting the bananas. After emerging at the other side Use the tire to bounce onto the high ledge to the right to get the continue barrel. Drop off the right side and you will see the N just above a zinger with tires on both sides. Simply just bounce on the tire and collect the N. Then bounce out the other side. ----- - G - ----- Walk right, for a bit and bounce up on the tire to get your buddy. Take the other barrel here, drop off the edge and throw it into the pit with snakes. Besides killing the snakes it with bust open the right side wall for bonus 7#. In the bonus, jump on the tire to bounce up and collect the bananas. Don't worry if you fall off you can easily get back on. After collecting the bananas exit the bonus level. You are shot out of the bonus much like bonus one except not as far. Jump on the tire to your right and jump up over the zinger to the right for a high ledge. Crawl under the gap then bounce on the two kritters to get the enguarde token. Crawl through the other side and use the tire to kill the snakes. Keep heading right to find a slope with tires. Use the tires to kill the two kritters that come down. About halfway up the slope is the G. Collect it and walk off the last drop off then exit. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Bonus Barrels in Reptile Rumble =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------- Bonus 5 ------- Take the second barrel of the stage down the slope past the kritters and throw it at the wall behind the K to bust open the secret. ------- Bonus 6 ------- Just after bonus 1 bounce onto a ledge with a friend barrel. Now jump off the left side to reach the bonus. ------- Bonus 7 ------- Just after the N Bounce up grab the barrel, drop off the edge and throw it against the right wall of the snake pit. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Level Warp in Reptile Rumble =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Above where you bust open the first bonus. Stand on the ledge and jump to the left. ============================================================================== Level Four - Coral Capers Kongo Jungle ============================================================================== Type - Underwater Barrels - None Difficulty - 15/100 ----- - K - ----- Swim right at the start, watch out for the bitesize and get your buddy if needed. Then keep heading right watching out for the bitesize again. Head up the slope collecting the bananas and avoiding the two bitesizes. When you can go no further head upwards. When you are able to go right keep going up to get k. ----- - O - ----- Head back down and go right, grab the bananas. Stop here and wait for the croctopus to go past then follow him and take the path out the other side. Swim into the next room watch out for the bitesize and when you see an arrow, follow it to get enguarde. Ride enguarde up taking care of the bitesizes collecting the bananas as well. When you come to a two-way section stop and wait for the croctopus to go past then follow him veering off at the top left hand corner. Grab your buddy if needed then head down and collect the bananas. Head left through the next room and collect the continue barrel. Instead of following the arrow go up, killing the chomps jr and collect a banana, a banana bunch and the O. ----- - N - ----- From here head down following the arrow and stop when you come to the two way and wait for the croctopus again and follow him. There is another enguarde if you follow it further enough, otherwise just take the open path in the bottom left hand corner. Swim through here killing the chomps Jr and getting your buddy if needed. Now head upwards, kill the chomps and go through the right wall to get an expresso token. Exit at the top of the secret where the second chomps is. Head up again collecting the bananas and ignore the first right and keep going up to receive the N. ----- - G - ----- Swim back down and take the right path, collect the two bananas, swim through the next section killing all the pesky little bitesizes. Stop when you come to the clambo and time your run past him properly so you don't get hit. Collect the two bananas and watch out for the croctopus going round and round protecting the G. Wait for him to go past then follow him to a sure your safety. After doing that exit the level. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Bonus Barrels in Coral Capers =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= There are none =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Level Warp in Coral Capers =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= When you find the first croctopus go down to find a hidden room. The barrel is in the right wall. ****************************************************************************** Funky's Fishing ****************************************************************************** Haul in 20 red fish to get a prize. Other fish give you less time to get the red ones. ============================================================================== Level Five - Barrel Cannon Canyon Kongo Jungle ============================================================================== Type - jungle/barrel Barrels - two Difficulty - 20/100 ----- - K - ----- Kill the kritters that walk your way then head forward and enter the barrel shoot up and collect the K. ----- - O - ----- Now go back the start and climb up the start point and enter the automatic barrel to be shot onto some treetops. Jump up onto the next tree and into the next auto barrel to be shot through a series of them, on the way you get about fifty bananas. You land on a tree with a buddy barrel, use it if needed then drop off the right side of the tree. Head right, pound the three kritters in the pit. Jump up on the ledge drop off the other side and enter the barrel. Barrel one shoots right to an auto barrel. After two shots you land in another launcher barrel From here shoot down into another auto barrel. After another two shoots line yourself up with the next auto to receive the O. After another shot don't line up with the barrel but shoot at the wall for bonus 8#. ----- - N - ----- Shot through the barrel course collecting the bananas and balloon in the process. The bananas increase in size as you get further through the course. Once you reach the end exit. You bust out of a wall below the continue barrel, jump up and grab it then head right. Collect the bananas and kill the kritter in the pit, grab your buddy here to if needed. Jump out of the pit and kill all the kritters here. After killing them grab the tnt barrel in the second pit and take it back to the first pit and blow up the right wall for bonus 9#. In this bonus shoot up to get an extra life, enguarde token or a bunch of bananas. After exiting use the tnt on the kritters which have come back. Keep heading right, pound the kritter jump up on the ledge then cross the gap. Jump in the barrel the two kritters are guarding one on each side and shoot into the auto barrel to be fired to the ground. You will bust the N out of the ground here. ----- - G - ----- After retrieving the N jump over the next gap and kill the kritter. Keep going kill the next kritter and enter the auto barrel which fires you into a launcher barrel. Barrel one is stationary aim and fire into a moving launch barrel. Barrel two is moving fire into a moving launch barrel whilst trying to miss the moving zinger. Barrel Three is a moving barrel, do the same as two except this time you will land in an auto barrel. After a couple of shots you will enter launch barrel four. Barrel four is a stationary barrel, shoot up past a zinger and into an auto barrel. The auto will send you to barrel five. Barrel five is moving shoot past the zinger and into a moving launch barrel. Barrel six is the same as five except you end up in an auto barrel. After the auto you will land in barrel seven. Barrel seven, shoot down past the zinger and into an auto barrel. It shoots you to barrel nine. Nine, shoot into a stationary auto barrel, watch for the zinger. After completing this you will end up on dry land. Move forward and bounce off the kritters and onto the trees. Jump right to the next tree to get your G. Pick up your buddy barrel and throw it at the two kritters coming at you. Keep going to the right, jump on the necky to make it over the gap. Walk up the next slope collecting the bananas along the way. When you reach the top of this platform you will see a necky and a platform up high with a winky crate. Jump on the necky bounce off him to the right to get the crate. Drop off the right side of the high platform to land on the regular platform. Walk right, till you come to the end of this platform. Jump of this platform to receive the o which is in mid-air. ----- - N - ----- When you land collect the bananas, then jump right to the next platform which has the continue barrel. Keep going jump to the one to get your buddy if needed. Jump on the gnawtys on the slope then onto the next walkway. Here you should see the bonus 10# and a necky under it. Use the necky to jump into it. In this bonus collect all the bananas and the N, then exit. ----- - G - ----- You are deposited next to the gnawty barrel. Jump right to the next walkway then again to the next one. Here, jump onto the necky to get to next platform. Here you can get an expresso token if you want it. After getting the token keep heading right and bounce off the necky to claim your G. The ride starts flat then goes downhill before a jump onto a lower level. It then heads upwards again, flattens out before a gap which has the K. ----- - O - ----- A steep incline then a quick decline and a gap, then a jump. It goes down before a jump then another quick jump and another onto a higher ledge before going straight back down and a jump to higher ground and again before going down with a gap with the O at the bottom. ----- - N - ----- It goes straight back up then starts going down but a gap to another down then it curves back up with a gap halfway up. Back down again with a big gap and a fish token then a quick jump to flat ground. Jump up again to get the continue barrel. It slopes up before flattening out with a jump over a minecart at the end. It slopes down this time with another jump over a cart before sloping up with two breaks in the line before curving and another cart to jump, then a quick decline with a jump at the end. If you time your jump right you will receive the N. ----- - G - ----- Upon getting the N quickly jump again to avoid a cart. As soon as you land jump again to avoid being hit by a moving cart. At the end of the flat is a gap, on the next flat is a moving cart jump it before going up with a jump at the end onto another up with a curve and a slight downhill with a moving cart before slightly going up again with another cart coming at you. After this is a decrease before a big down jump then a jump onto a flat with a cart and an up with the G at the end in the air with a crashed cart. ------- - End - ------- After this you land on a flat with a gap then another little flat with a gap then a downhill with a jump onto a diagonally placed piece of track. As soon as landing on this jump again onto a little flat, jump at the end of this onto an incline with a moving cart at the top with a set of diagonals. Now bounce on it to grab the K in the pit with two bouncing kritters. ----- - O - ----- Now bounce out and go right and you will come to the next pit with a zinger. Jump into it and onto the tire and out the other side when the zinger is furthest away. Grab the barrel here and jump off the edge with it onto the tire Bounce up to get your buddy if needed otherwise bounce up and right to land on the next ledge. From here still holding the barrel fall into the pit with two zingers hovering up and down when they are up and smash the right wall for bonus 11#. In this bonus stop the barrel on the same prize three times to win it. You burst out of the wall going right, you fly over a kritter. When you have landed kill the approaching kritter. Now get the O which has a zinger hovering around it. ----- - N - ----- Keep going right until you come across a tire. Push it through the little gap and use it to reach the continue barrel which is floating high above your head. After doing this push the tire through another little hole and out the other side and onto a moving ledge. Jump on the tire and when the moving ledge is at its highest point jump up and push right to enter a secret area. Go right and crawl through the small gap to collect the N. Watch out for the zinger though. ----- - G - ----- After getting the N keep going right. Pound the next Kritter then drop off into the next pit. Bounce on the tires to get your buddy. Then use them to bounce up to the right to land on the ledge, but watch out for the bouncing kritter. Walk right till you get to the end then drop off entering the little alcove halfway down to get winky. When you land you are placed on a tire. Go right on winky collecting the bananas until you come upon another tire. Bounce on the tire and up to the right to kill the kritter. Next pound the two kritters jumping back and forth over a pit which has bananas in it. Collect them the head right, going up the slope. When you you've reached the edge you can notice there is a tire out in the gap with a zinger hovering around it. Jump on the zinger with winky (she can kill them) and use the tire to bounce to the next tire then to the path. Advance to the end of the next path and again jump on the zingers (two this time) and use the two tires to clear the gap. Here grab your buddy, kill the hovering zinger around it first. Walk right the find the edge of this platform and jump out onto the tire killing the zingers in the process, then jump right again to safe ground. Head up the slope going right. Kill the kritter guarding the first pit, then the one guarding pit two. Jump in pit two to get the G. Jump out kill the kritter over pit three. Jump up and to the right to land on the next ledge which has a moveable tire. Forget it unless you don't have winky. Jump on the zinger and keep going right and stop at the end of the path. Here there is a moving platform with a trail of bananas leading up into bonus 12#. With winky just jump up to it otherwise push the tire onto the platform and bounce up to it. In this barrel shoot up onto the tires, bounce around to collect some bananas. To stop this from happening there are many barrels planted throughout the level that have "Go" written on them. Hit these to flood the level with red light, which tells the krocs to stop. ----- - k - ----- Walk right and drop of the little edge, kill the klap trap and collect the bananas. Keep going right and hit the barrel which has go written on it. Whilst the light is red drop off the little ledge go past the first kroc and jump up the next little ledge to a safe spot where there are no krocs. Grab your buddy here if needed and hit the next barrel. Jump up the three ledges and kill the klap trap at the top. Walk right until the end of the platform. Jump off to the right over the gap to receive the K. ----- - O - ----- After landing jump on the tire and bounce up over the gap and hit the barrel to stop everything. Once landed go right collecting the bananas. Pass the two krocs and jump right over the next gap. Kill the klap trap collect the bananas and keep going. At the end there is a kroc on a stationary platform out in the gap. Hit the barrel above your head jump on then off the platform to safety. Kill the approaching klap trap and hit the barrel. Keep going kill the next klap trap and jump over the gap (it might be a good idea to up the ante now as the krocs are getting quicker) and onto the platform with the krocs. Then jump over the next gap whilst getting the barrel. Quickly jump onto the platform moving up and down with the sleeping kroc. When its at its highest point jump off to the right to land on a safe spot. Grab your buddy if needed. Now go right at the end hit the barrel on the end of the platform, then jump off onto the lower path. Quickly kill the klap trap jump up the two ledges to the right, past the krocs to safety. Collect the bananas then do a roll/cartwheel into the pit to get the O. ----- - N - ----- Once landed on the other side go right and grab the continue barrel. Keep going right, drop off the ledge to fall onto a smaller one with a normal average everyday barrel. The stop barrel is on the next pathway with the kroc. Get it without breaking the normal barrel in your hand. Drop of the two little ledges and break the big wall for bonus 13#. In this bonus, fire through the launcher barrels to collect the bananas and exit. Once landed pound the approaching klap trap. Keep going right, ignore the visible bonus barrel. Drop off the little ledge and kill the three klap traps. Jump up the next ledge grab your buddy. Now take the tire here and push it back to where you found the bonus barrel 14# and use it to bounce into it. In here shoot up to collect the prizes. After exiting push the tire right until it's under the stop barrel. Bounce up to get it then set off to the right, jump up the next ledge kill the klap trap. Now jump on the three stationary kroc platforms out in the gap. Once you're at the other side smash the klap trap, jump over the little pit onto another klap trap which has the N and some bananas above it. ----- - G - ----- Jump the next little pit and belt the klap trap. Here is a moving platform with a kroc on it. The stop barrel is out in the gap. When the platform is closest jump up and grab the barrel and land on the platform and ride it a cross. Jump to the next platform at halfway then jump off at the end. After you land fall off the little ledge to get the next stop barrel. This time run it doesn't last long. Run right jump to tag the next one in the air. Keep running, use the tire to bounce to the next one high in the air. Push the next tire quickly to the right and use it to get the barrel in the air again. Without stopping jump up the set of ledges and run whilst trying to avoid the awake crocs. Jump up the last ledge grab the G and exit. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bonus Barrels in Stop & Go Station =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -------- Bonus 13 -------- Take the barrel after halfway down into a pit and break the wall. -------- Bonus 14 -------- After bonus 13 keep going ignore the bonus and keep going until you get the tire push it back all the way to the bonus and bounce up into it. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Level Warp in Stop & Go Station =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Turn around and walk back into the start. ****************************************************************************** Funky's Fishing ****************************************************************************** Catch Fifteen croctopus's to receive a prize. This one was a little easy. Watch out for squidges as they decrease the time you have to catch croctopus's. ============================================================================== Level Five - Millstone Mayhem Monkey Mines ============================================================================== Type - Ruins Barrels - Three Difficulty - 35/100 ----- - K - ----- At the start use the tire to bounce up above the start. From her jump up again to find bonus 15#. In this bonus shoot up to collect the prizes. The K is one of the prizes. ----- - O - ----- You are deposited next to your buddy barrel, get him if needed otherwise head right collecting the bananas. Scoot under the gnawty on wheels and keep going. When you come to a gap in between the ledges fall down it to find an auto barrel and be shot up. Steer yourself onto the soft spot to break out a tire. Kill the approaching kritter then push the tire to the right. Push it under the millstone (gnawty on wheels) and out the other side. Keep pushing it, collect the bananas along the way. Push it down the steep slope then jump off the ledge to grab the O. ----- - N - ----- Keep pushing it right until you get to the millstone. At this point use the tire to bounce above the millstone and into bonus 16#. In this bonus spell out the word "rare" to get an enguarde token. After exiting you are deposited to the right of a millstone. Collect the bananas and head right, fall into the next pit with the millstone. Grab the tnt barrel and jump up the ledge on the other side with it. Take it up the slope with you, Jump the two krusha's with the barrel in hand and fall into the next pit under a millstone and blow the right wall for bonus 17#. In this bonus correctly guess which barrel has the green balloon to win it. Once you've exited you are placed next to a millstone go right collect the bananas. Jump into the next pit and kill all the kritters exit at the other side and keep going. Grab your buddy if needed then jump the gap collecting the bananas. On this platform/ground/whatever it is collect the continue barrel. Jump to the next platform and collect the bananas in mid air. Pick up the tnt barrel here and throw it at the slippa. Scoot under the millstone and walk to the end of the platform. Jump down off it onto the soft spot to release a tire. Push the tire to the right and up the slope, kill the snakes along the way push the tire to the edge of the platform. Here notice that there is a platform just above the millstone. Use the tire to reach this. Jump up to the right to find a hidden path with winky. Collect the bananas and head right with her. Drop off the ledge to receive the N. ----- - G - ----- From here jump over the pit and jump over the millstone moving back and forth and grab your buddy if necessary. Keep going right watch out for the necky throwing nuts. Keep going right until you come across a millstone moving back and forth over little pits. Jump into pit one and wait until the millstone is behind you before doing a massive leap out. When you land kill the slippa and jump upto the next high ledge to the right. Here we come across a necky on a platform between two pits throwing nuts. Above him is the G. Time your jump right to make sure you don't get hit and kill the necky as well as getting the G. Keep going to find a millstone rolling back and forth jump him as well as the pit and keep heading right collecting the bananas and going downhill slightly. Jump under the millstone going in and out of a gap after this use the tire to bounce over the last millstone. Jump the gap collecting the bananas if you want them. Throw it at the mini-necky and collect the bananas. Walk to the right until you reach the end of the platform. Jump into the launcher barrel and fire onto the necky and onto the next platform. Release your buddy and head right going down the slope. Jump into the auto barrel to be fired into another barrel from here shoot onto the necky and onto the next path. Quickly scoot under the necky guarding the tire on a high ledge. Now jump up on the other side of the ledge and kill it. Use the tire to bounce onto the soft spot to release the K. ----- - O - ----- Now jump back up on the ledge and push the tire off the ledge to the right. Keep going with it and push it to the edge and line it up with the bananas going up. Now bounce up on the tire to collect the bananas and enter bonus 18#. In here spell out kong to receive an extra life balloon. You land at the top of a slope next to a barrel and some bananas. Grab it take it right, going down the slope with it collecting the bananas. At the bottom throw it at the mini-necky spitting nuts at you. Walk to the edge of the platform and jump into the barrel out to the right in the gap. Shoot at the necky then bounce onto the next one to help you reach the next section. Jump up the little ledge and pound the mini-necky. Jump into the next barrel and there will be two neckys flying up and down. When the first one is down shoot, hit the second necky and steer the kong not onto the ledge but over it and onto the soft spot to release a barrel. Use the barrel to break down the wall on your left for bonus 19#. In this bonus jump on the two klap traps to get them to give bananas. As you jump on them more they get faster. Kill them to get a red balloon. Your place in a barrel lined up at many neckys. Shoot and bounce along them to safety. Walk down the next slop and jump out to the barrel in the gap. Shoot directly up to get the continue barrel. After getting the continue barrel, shoot right to land on the next path. Walk right, go under the neckys throwing nuts and grab your buddy along the way. Keep going right and enter the next blast barrel. In these blast barrels now you need to time them right because they don't shoot as far. Shoot to the second barrel then to land. Jump up the ledge and kill the mini-necky shooting at you. Jump over the next gap to grab the O and some bananas. ----- - N - ----- Jump into the next launch barrel, then shoot onto the neckys and bounce onto the next ledge. Grab the bananas then pick up the barrel and throw it off the ledge at the neckys. Drop off the ledge go right, jump up the little ledge and into the blast barrel. Time your blast right so you land on the necky not the zinger its flying around. Bounce on it then to the next slope. Walk down it collecting the three bananas. Now jump in the blast barrel. Blast into barrel two and then into three, when the zinger is all the way down. Then shoot to solid ground. Grab your buddy here if you need him. Keep heading right ignore the soft spot and quickly run under the necky on the high ledge that is throwing nuts at you. On the other side of the necky, jump up onto the first ledge watching for the nut. Then onto the top ledge and kill the necky. From this vantage point jump down onto the soft spot we ignored earlier to bust out a barrel. Take this back up to the ledge before the necky and smash the wall for bonus 20#. In this bonus jump in the launch barrel and shoot through the barrel course collecting bananas, your buddy and the N along the way. When you reach the end exit. ----- - G - ----- You land on a kritter after exiting. Jump right to land in the blast barrel and shoot through the middle of the zingers to land in another blast barrel. Launch to the next one and the next one. This time shoot through the zingers again to grab the G, But watch out they are moving faster this time. In the last barrel. Time your shot right so you land and don't get hammered by the shooting necky. Kill the necky. When he is close enough jump up and bounce off him and into the bonus barrel 21#. In this bonus spell out kong on the barrels to receive a expresso token. You are dropped off back at the start, walk right again. Kill the gnawty and the necky that come your way again. Keep going, collect the bananas then enter the blast barrel. Shoot over the gap when in line with your buddy barrel to get it. After landing jump on the gnawty and the ledge and enter the next launcher barrel. Shoot when your in line with them and when you reach the other side, head right and kill all the gnawtys and keep going. When you come to the end enter the next blast barrel. Shoot through this set and into an auto barrel at the end to be shot to ground. Jump the next gap to get your K. ----- - O - ----- After landing kill the approaching gnawtys and enter the auto barrel to be shoot to a launch barrel. The next set of blast barrels are on angles, so time your shots right and you won't have a worry in the world. At the end of this set shoot onto solid ground to get the continue barrel. Jump up and right to get to the next ledge. Grab the barrel here, cross the gap with it and use it on the kritter. Fall into the auto barrel in the gap to be shot up into a moving launch barrel to get the O. ----- - N - ----- After shooting out of the blast barrel, head right and use the buddy barrel to kill the kritter that falls out of the sky. (What the?). After this little episode keep going right. Collect the bananas and don't enter the blast barrel yet. Have a closer look the first barrel is an auto barrel, the second barrel is another auto barrel but it's moving too. (Equation: jumping mindlessly into this set of barrels = Death!) Time it so that you jump in the barrel when it's at its furthest point down. If you do this correctly its takes a shortcut, missing the moving barrel and straight into the auto barrel before the next path. Jump up to the right to jump up onto the next high ledge. Once here enter the auto barrel, which shoots you to a launch barrel. Here there is another auto before a launcher barrel that is moving up and down. Shoot into the auto when the moving barrel has just started coming back up. In the moving barrel shoot when it is all the way down to find bonus barrel 22#. In here shoot up to collect some bananas and the N that is at the top. ----- - G - ----- You are deposited on a secret ledge below everything, jump in the auto to be shot back up to normality and another auto barrel. It shoots you to a blast barrel. From here the next auto barrel shoots up into another auto. But the first auto (The one that shoots up) is moving, so wait till it just starts to come back toward you before you shoot or you'll risking death. You are shot into another blast barrel. Same as before but the first it shoots down this time and it's the second barrel that's moving. Wait till its just coming back from off the screen before shooting. The moving one will shoot you into another auto before onto land. Here grab the barrel and jump up the ledge and to the right. Throw it at the approaching kritters and keep going. The next set of barrels, wait till the moving barrel is three-quarters of the way up before shooting. Line yourself up with the next auto barrel and shoot. When you hit the ground jump into the next set of launch barrels. These barrels I can't really help you with, all I can say is take your time and line them up properly. In the last barrel line yourself up with the necky to get the G. Bounce up to the right on the tire and then jump to the low ledge. Do a roll jump/cartwheel jump into the pit if you want the expresso token. Then exit the level. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bonus Barrels in Tree Top Town =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -------- Bonus 21 -------- At the start walk right and when you see a necky go back to the start and jump on him to find the bonus. -------- Bonus 22 -------- After a set of barrels you will see it, shoot into it. ============================================================================== Level Three - Forest Frenzy Vine Valley ============================================================================== Type - Outdoor/vine Barrels - two Difficulty - 40/100 ----- - K - ----- Walk to the right at the start. Kill the bouncing kritter and way your way to the end of the platform. Grab the moving rope and collect the bananas. Jump off at the other side. Kill the kritter that comes bouncing off the ledge. Jump up to the right and onto the ledge. Release your buddy, and kill the next kritter that comes bouncing along. Drop off the right side of the ledge and keep going. When you reach the end of the platform do a roll jump into the pit to get the K. ----- - O - ----- When you land on the next platform kill the kritter and grab the next vine. Ride it high or low to avoid the zinger and jump off right to get the next rope at about halfway. Jump off and land on the soft spot to get a barrel. Use it on the two kritters, which are about to kill you from above. Jump upto the ledge collect the bananas and grab the next stationary vine. Quickly go down the vine right after the zinger to get the O. ----- - N - ----- Jump off the vine. Kill the kritters and drop off the ledge. Walk right grab the vine. Here is a spot full of zingers. All I can say is keep mostly to the middle to make it a bit easier. Once you are through jump off the vine onto a small ledge with the continue barrel. Jump right, onto the next vine and go up the rope will the banana trail to miss the zinger and get your buddy. When the rope stops jump off to the right and land on the kritter that is on a small ledge to kill him. Jump right again onto the next rope. Cruise past the zingers flying up and down by going under or over them. Again when the vine stops jump on the kritter on the tiny platform. Also collect the bananas. Jump right onto the necky then onto another small platform with a bouncing kritter. Collect the bananas again, then jump onto the vine and follow the banana trail to avoid the zinger. You'll get the N on the way. ----- - G - ----- When the rope stops, jump to the awaiting vine to your right. On here watch out for the zingers. Here is the method to miss them. Go under zinger one. Above the second zinger Stay where you are to miss the third unless you want your buddy. Again stay to the top for the fourth. Move into the middle of the rope for the set of two. When you move through the two zingers you will get the G. Go to the top for the sixth. Collect the bananas whilst you can. Next comes the sometimes annoying part. This section is full of flying neckys. Weave your way through them but keep your eye on the bottom of the screen for the rim of bonus 23#. When you see it just jump into it. (It's near the end of the bird section). In this bonus correctly pick which of the four barrels the rambi token is in to win it. You are dropped out of the sky and break a barrel out of the ground. Jump on the kritter behind you, Then kill all the kritters on both sides of the hill. (Not using the barrel!) After doing that go back and get the barrel and bring it to the other side of the hill. Smash the last wall on the right side of the hill for bonus 24#. In here jump on the rope and collect all the bananas, jump off at the other side collect the enguarde token and exit the bonus. You are dropped on the ledge above the last bonus. Catch ten to get the reward, but watch out for all the bitesizes as they reduce your time dramatically. ============================================================================== Level Four - Orang-Utan Gang Vine Valley ============================================================================== Type - Trees Barrels - Five Difficulty - 55/100 Note - Kill all the enemies as you go it makes the stage easier. ----- - K - ----- Walk up the first slope and kill the kritter and walk down the other side and pound the kritter. Jump off to the right collecting the bananas to find solid ground. Pound the klap trap drop off the ledge and kill the next klap trap. Grab your buddy if you need him. Jump onto the next set of trees killing a kritter in the process. Head up the slope, kill the kritter at the top and the one after it. Head down the slope onto the trees at the bottom. Here there is a gap between trees. In the gap is the k but it has a zinger hovering around it. ----- - O - ----- After land on the next set of trees, head up the slope collecting the bananas. Kill the two kritters at the top and head down the other side killing the two kritters about halfway down. When you reach the bottom jump to solid ground again. Jump up the ledge and walk right. You'll see the O, do a roll/cartwheel to get it. ----- - N - ----- After that kill the Klap traps and get expresso. Now backtrack all the way to where you first got the DK barrel. (I told you killing all the enemies would make it easier). Jump off the bottom ledge and fly as far as possible to get bonus 25#. In here spell out winky to win the token. When you exit forget the tire, and go left, you may want to get off expresso kill all the enemies then come back for him. When you reach land again kill the klap traps and grab your N. Where the N is fly off and land on a little platform of land then jump to a bigger piece which holds a barrel to throw against the wall for bonus 26#. Bounce off the tire to get the prizes. ----- - G - ----- When you exit, get rid of expresso jump down into the pit and kill the kritters in the pit jump out pick up the barrel fall down the side to find more ground then into the pit after it, break the left wall for bonus 27#. Jump up on the tire and pound the soft spots for prizes. After exiting pick up the barrel again fall off the side again but jump the pit and break the first wall for bonus 28#. Make sure you collect the G in here. This time leave the barrel go all the way to the end killing all the enemies then come get the barrel and break it on the left wall of the last hill for bonus 29#. In this bonus get expresso and fly all the way over to get a red balloon. From here fly under the trees. -------- Bonus 26 -------- When you get the N fly under the trees to find a small island of land jump the gap after it to get a barrel to blast open the wall. -------- Bonus 27 -------- After the pit with kritters, grab the barrel fall down the side, then fall down again into the pit and smash the left wall. -------- Bonus 28 -------- Same as Bonus 27 but jump over the second pit and smash it on the next wall. -------- Bonus 29 -------- Get the barrel again go all the way to the end and smash it on the left wall of the last hill. ============================================================================== Level Five - Clam City Vine Valley ============================================================================== Type - underwater Barrels - none Difficulty - 40/100 ----- - K - ----- Swim right and scoot past the first clambo shooting pearls on an angle. Go up and when you are in line with the DK barrel swim through the left wall to get enguarde and the K. ----- - O - ----- Swim back through the wall on enguarde and get the DK barrel if you need it. Collect the bananas and head down. Killing the bitesizes along the way. Halfway down on the right side is a clambo shooting two pearls at a time, but in different directions. Scoot past him, when you reach the bottom head right collecting the bananas and going into the next room, full of bitesizes. Kill them all and you'll find the O at the top of this little room of bitesizes. ----- - N - ----- Keep going right, out of this little section. Here is a two shooter clambo shooting up (The way we have to go of course).Swim up as soon as he's shot. But don't rush into the next section unless you want death. The clam on the left wall is shooting directly into your path. Dodge the pearl and slowly make your way up. Avoid the shots from the second clambo on the right about halfway up. When you reach the top kill the chomps jr guarding the buddy barrel if you need him. After getting it head left and enter the room full of chomps jr's. Kill them all and exit through the bottom left hand corner and receive the continue barrel. Head left and up, watch out for the single shooter on the right. When your just about at the top watch out for the three way shooter. Dodge his three shots and head down, watching for the single shooter on the left about halfway down. Once you reach the bottom go left through the gap to get your buddy if you need him. Head upwards killing all the Chomps's on the way to your N which is at the top. ----- - G - ----- Head right collecting the bananas to enter the next room which holds a five shooter clambo. Get the winky token next to him if you want it, other wise stay to the top to pass him unscathed. Collect the bananas and go right into the next room. There are three croctopus's in here going around in circles. The first and third are spinning clockwise whilst the second one is going anti-clockwise. Here is the easy way to pass them without dying. When the first one passes you going up follow it. Stop when it goes down and wait for the second one to pass going anti-clockwise before going right again and missing the third one and making it to safety. In the last room there is a five shooter clambo on a ledge above the G shooting down onto it. It's hard but is possible to get without dying. Keep running right, jump the next gnawty and the pit. Then smash the barrel on the first wall after the pit for bonus 30#. In here bounce on the neckys to get to the other side where expresso is. You are dropped on a ledge. Walk right, Jump and flap over the next pit. When you land run right, under the millstone. Jump the two gnawtys and fly over the pit. Jump up the ledge to the right. Again run under the millstone. But this time you have to land after jumping the gnawtys or you won't have enough height to clear the next pit. Halfway over the pit just mentioned is the O. When you land on the other side Jump the three gnawtys then collect the continue barrel o the high ledge. ----- - N - ----- You can discard expresso at anytime remember. Drop down the two ledges, grab your buddy barrel and throw it at the kritters. Kill the remaining kritter and continue up the slope killing more kritters. At the top jump on the rope above the millstone, collect the bananas then jump of and start running right. Grab the rope in the next pit. Jump off and keep running, jumping the two pits that hold zingers. Keep going, jump onto the next set of ropes and follow the arrow down for bonus 31#.. In this bonus keep pounding on the klap trap until he dies to receive a rambi token. You now start on top of a high ledge. Jump off and try to land on the soft spot to produce the N. ----- - G - ----- Kill the three approaching kritters and keep going. Kill the next three as well. Now bounce on the tire in the gap to reach the other side. Keep going, now use the tire to bounce to a ledge just above the millstone. When your ready jump off and start running. Jump on the set of tire to complete the first gap. Keep running bounce on the tires to clear the next gap as well but watch out for the zinger. Bounce off the last tire and into a huge almost crater like hole with a tire to bounce out with. After bouncing out walk down the slope collecting the bananas. When you reach the bottom jump the millstone and start running again. Up the slope killing the kritters along the way and grab the last rope to safety. But just as your about to exit you realise you don't have the G yet. Choose the right barrel to receive a winky token. You exit through the igloo, walk up the slope, kill the necky then enter the launch barrel. Shoot up following the bananas. Jump on the three neckys and collect the red balloon. When you land kill the klap trap and head right. Jump onto the next ledge with the buddy barrel but watch out for the zinger hovering around it. Jump off onto the next path and go right. Head down the slope killing the two neckys on the way and enter the blast barrel. Shoot up diagonally to find the next path. Kill the necky drop off the ledge and head down the slope killing the klap trap. At the bottom grab the K and enter the blast barrel. ----- - O - ----- Barrel one shoot up + right Barrel two down + right Barrel three up + right to find ground. Head up the slope and kill the three klap traps at the top. Keep going right collecting the bananas on the way. and enter the blast barrel, watch out for the zinger hovering around though. Barrel one shoot up + right Barrel two shoot down + right Barrel three shoot up + right Barrel four shoot down + right to find a slope. *Note* barrels one and three have zingers hovering around them. Walk up the slope. At the top grab the steel barrel and throw it right. Chase it to see it take out a heap of gnawtys. Jump in the auto barrel to be shot to a high ledge. Walk down the big slope and jump in the next blast barrel. Barrel one shoot up + right to enter a series of auto barrels. After you come flying out the end you will receive the continue barrel. Now turn around and switch to donkey. Go left, Pound the krusha with donkey then drop off the ledge to find bonus 33#. In this bonus shoot up to collect the prize. The O. ----- - N - ----- When you exit jump up into the blast barrel and shoot following the bananas to get to the top of the tall ledge. Collect the Dk barrel if need be, then drop off the ledge and walk right going down the slope. Bounce o the necky's to get to snow platforms. When you are on the last one jump into the auto barrel. You are shot into a blast barrel. Here you can see a zinger and the N on the far side of the screen. Don't shoot to get the N but instead shoot directly down to find an ice platform. Jump along the platforms to the right collecting the N and finding bonus 34#. In here shoot through the set of barrels collecting your prizes then exit. ----- - G - ----- Your shot out of an auto barrel and onto land. Head right, Get the rambi token if you want it otherwise jump into the blast barrel. Now there is a major shortcut in this stage that bypasses several annoying set of blast barrels. If you want to do the stage properly that your choice but I'm giving the most direct route to the end. Barrel one shoot right to barrel two Barrel two shoot down + right for barrel three Barrel three shoot directly down to find a secret barrel. Along this major shortcut is the G and about one hundred bananas. Once you are shot out you land on a slope. Head up it and pound the klap trap at the top. Green ropes make you go up whilst red ropes make you go down. Use them wisely. ----- - K - ----- Walk forward you should see a rope wait a moment a kritter will come bounce on him to reach the rope, collect the bananas and use the barrel to break the wall for bonus 35#. Spell out Kong to get an expresso token. You are deposited back under the rope go forward kill the two kritters then ride the rope up. Grab your buddy if needed and throw the barrel at the army. Ride the next rope up and grab the K at the top of the rope. ----- - O - ----- After getting the K grab the red rope to go down, halfway down jump into the little alcove and grab the barrel. Jump over the zinger and down to the ground and use the barrel on the left wall to get bonus 36#. Spell Nintendo and collect your prize. Move forward and kill the army that attacks you, jump up on the edge grab onto the rope to be transported up. When you reach the top of the first rope jump onto the next rope then quickly to the one after, then back, then back again, and again to avoid the zingers. When you reach the top jump right and grab your buddy. Go to the left, jump on the necky to get the bananas then drop down and pound the army. Jump on the down rope but quickly onto land. Walk down the hill kill the kritters then onto the down rope which has a zinger at the bottom then onto the up rope which has a zinger at the top then straight to the next down rope which has a zinger at the bottom then jump to safety and the continue barrel. Keep going left kill the klap trap jump on the rope then into the auto Barrel and get blasted onto the high ledge. Wait for the kritter bounce off him and onto the rope. At the top grab the bananas and the O. ----- - N - ----- After getting the O run down the slope pounding the klap traps. The next section contains four sliding up ropes that lead to the rest of the level. Here is the way to get the bonus room. On the first rope jump immediately onto rope two On rope two jump straight away to rope three On rope three jump immediately to rope four Ride rope four almost the whole way then jump back to rope three At the completion of this you will enter bonus 37#. Collect the bananas and the expresso token before exiting. Ignore the first rope, go a little to the right and take this hard rope full of zingers to the top to receive the N and a DK barrel. ----- - G - ----- Use the buddy barrel to take out the two zingers blocking your path, jump onto the up rope then to the left onto a platform. Watch out for the two klap traps on the slope. Take the next up rope when the zinger is at the furthest point away slide up it and jump to the left onto a platform. Jump on the down ropes with zingers at the bottom of each until you land on a small platform. The next rope also has a zinger at the bottom and goes down. Quickly use it to get to the next platform. Now use the parallel down ropes to make your way to the top, jumping to the left and right really quickly. When you reach the top jump to the right onto a rope with a zinger then onto another rope which holds the G. After getting the G exit the stage. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Bonus Barrels in Slipslide Ride =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -------- Bonus 35 -------- Wait under the first rope in the level for the kritter to come, bounce off its head ride the rope up and use the barrel to break the wall to enter the bonus. -------- Bonus 36 -------- After collecting the k slide halfway down the next rope and jump into the alcove guarded by two red zingers. Grab the barrel here then jump out of the alcove and onto the ground. Smash the nearby left wall. -------- Bonus 37 -------- Just after the O there is a set of four up ropes with zingers on them. Jump on the ropes in this fashion to enter the bonus. On the first rope jump immediately onto rope two On rope two jump straight away to rope three On rope three jump immediately to rope four Ride rope four almost the whole way then jump back to rope three. ============================================================================== Level Three - Croctopus Chase Gorilla Glacier ============================================================================== Type - Underwater Barrels - none Difficulty - 50/100 ----- - K - ----- Swim to the right at the start watch out for the Squidge. When you can go no further head upwards collecting the bananas. Then head right, the thing in the alcove is the croctopus so beware of him he chases you. Swim along grab your buddy if needed then keep going right watching for the squidge again. Swim past the croctopus then head upwards, right grab the banana bunch and head down watching for the squidge. Head right again briefly passing the croctopus, go up grabbing the bananas and the K in the process. ----- - O - ----- After getting the K, go left on the up sloping path collecting your friend and missing the chomps guarding the DK barrel. Swim left passing the croctopus then head upwards collecting the bananas. When you can go no further head right, then up again collecting the bananas. Hang another left watch for the squidge then down into the automatic launcher barrels. After exiting these barrels you can see your buddy barrel, go through the wall to get it. After that swim upwards and hang a leftie and collect the O and bananas. ----- - N - ----- Enter the auto barrels to exit. Swim left and hit the deck asap to avoid the chomps Jr. Swim out of this area past the chomps and head upwards (beware a croctopus is on your tail) through all the S- bends and hang a right as soon as possible. Keep going right to get the continue barrel. Continue going right past the croctopus (you should have noticed by now they are getting quicker) to the DK barrel if needed. Keep going right then upwards with a croctopus on your butt. Keep your eye on the left hand side of the screen and when you see bananas swim through the wall towards them to get some bananas and an enguarde token. If you would rather not cheat you can take the longer and harder way but I like to take the most direct route to the exit. After exiting this little secret head left into a room with two Chomps's swimming back and forth. Swim through the chomps's when they are closest to you. After this grab your buddy and scoot past the croctopus and speed upwards. Go right when you have to (its the only way to go anyhow). When available head upwards grab the bananas and the N. ----- - G - ----- After collecting the N head up through the S's and hang a left whilst passing the next croctopus then upwards through more S's. When you reach the top go left through a small crack to get an extra life and enguarde, watch out for a chomps though. After getting enguarde exit the same way you came in, keep heading right past the next croctopus then down through the S- bends then right again past the croctopus's. Head up again then left and up again through more S's. When you reach the top head right collecting bananas and into a room full of Squidges (Just p@#$ off, i wish they would). Jump and grab the swinging rope, swing to the other side avoiding the mini necky and keep going. Pound the Kritter that jumps off the ledge at you then grab the swinging rope. Bounce off the necky onto the ledge. Switch to diddy here and bounce off the neckys to enter bonus 38#. Shoot through the barrel course collecting the token and bananas before getting expresso and exiting. You are deposited on top of a hill with expresso, flap over the gap once you hit ground jump off expresso (so he doesn't get hit and run away, you need him up further)and kill the mini necky guarding the DK barrel. Don't bother killing the klap trap on the next slope just jump and fly over the gap with the bird. When you reach the other side get off the bird and roll jump/cartwheel into the pit to get the O. ----- - N - ----- Now first jump up onto the next ledge and kill the mini necky before getting the bird again. Use him here to fly over the gap to safety collecting the continue barrel on the way. Once you reach the other side get off him kill the klap trap, get your friend before moving on. Jump up on the ledge and a manky starts throwing barrels at you. Jump off the bird and go kill it. Now from the top of the ledge fly out over the next gap until you reach a tire in the middle. Bounce off the tire and make your way to safety. When you land jump off him and kill the klap trap on the next ledge. Get the bird again and make your way to the top of the ledge where the bananas go down. From here run and fly directly right to get bonus 39# and the N. In this bonus stop the barrel on the same coloured balloon each time to win it. ----- - G - ----- After exiting grab your buddy if needed and make your way up the steep slope. A manky kong will throw barrels at you, jump them and kill it. Once that's done fly over the gap and onto some little platforms of ice. The G is on the second one. When you come back to full ground discard expresso. You will see a manky kong throwing barrels at you. Wait till one has just busted before jumping onto the platform he's on and killing him. If timed right you will not lose your buddy or die. With winky this is no problem as winky can kill zingers. ----- - O - ----- After bouncing out jeep going right jump down to the lower ledge watching for the red zinger. After landing bounce on the next tire to the ledge. Drop off onto the lower ledge killing the kritter then bounce on the tire and up onto the high ledge. Collect the bananas and jump onto the highish tire with a zinger then onto the next path. On the next path get your buddy if needed then drop the little slope. Bounce onto the tires killing the zingers until you reach the other side. Collect the bananas and jump onto the next platform to receive the continue barrel. Kill the kritter bouncing over the next pit then grab the O from within. ----- - N - ----- Use the tire to bounce to the tire on the floating platform to collect the bananas. Drop down the little slope and pound the to kritters bouncing over the pit and keep heading right. Drop down the little slop again and onto the moving platform in the pit. Use the platform to get the N. ----- - G - ----- Jump up the slope on the other side on jump onto the moving platform and ride it across. Grab your buddy halfway across on a stationary platform then onto the next moving platform. Jump the two zingers and jump to ground. Kill the two kritters bouncing over the pit and grab your G from it. Jump up the little ledge then again onto the moving platform. From here when the first moving platform is at the end of his run jump up and right to find bonus 41#. In here stop the barrel on the same token three times to win it. You are deposited on a ledge jump onto the moving platform and over the three zingers in a line going up. Kill the klump again and roll into the pit to the left to get the K. ----- - O - ----- Jump to the right over the oil drum. Then over the gap onto the little platform. Kill the klump here and jump the two oil drums. The O is about halfway across. ----- - N - ----- Jump off when you reach the other side. Pound the klump and head up the slope. When you reach the top jump onto the moving platform (This one goes up and down, Not sideways). Then over the oil drum to the other side. Quickly kill the approaching klump and head down the slope going right. Jump onto the next up and down moving platform. When the platform is at it's highest point jump off to the right over the oil drum to land in the next section. Now jump the oil drum and the gap to land next to the continue barrel on the ledge. After getting the continue barrel crawl through the little gap to the right and collect the bananas and your buddy. Once emerging from the other side, kill the krusha and grab the barrel from the ledge to your right. Drop back down to where you killed the krusha (Diddy can't kill these guys) and throw the barrel against the right wall to reveal bonus 42#. In here get the same item three times in a row to win it. After exiting you are place in between two mincers. Go right jump the first mincer and kill the krusha. Jump up and over the next mincer to land on the ledge above him. Pound the two krusha's here and when you reach the end jump over the gap and the mincer to land on a small platform with a mincer on the right end of it. Walk to the right and jump it to land on another platform which also has a mincer on the end of it. Jump it when the time is right to land on an up and down moving platform. just on the right of the moving platform is the N. Do a roll/cartwheel jump to get it. ----- - G - ----- Ride the platform all the way up and leap off the right side onto the next path. Drop off the little drop onto the walkway of a krusha and two mincers. Kill the krusha and jump the two mincers and grab the barrel up the little ledge and jump over the last mincer with it. Once you've reached ground with it. Turn around and use it on the left wall to get bonus 43#. In this bonus bounce on the klap trap several time to win the bonus and receive a prize. But in the top right-hand corner is the G. You cannot get this by jumping. In the left corner is a stationary tire. Line yourself up so that you bounce off the tire and onto the klap trap and upto the G. Pound the gnawty here and then grab the rope on the left side and ride it back to the start. From here jump out onto the soft spot of ground to release a Tnt barrel. Pick it up and run right with it. Throw it at the first oil drum. This one is in the ground. After destroying it jump down the hole to find bonus 44#. In this bonus shoot up in the blast to collect a red balloon and many bananas. You are placed just after the first oil drum. Two kritters are bouncing your way, dispose of them and head right down the slope to get your buddy from the DK barrel. May your way to the end of the platform and jump down over the oil drum. Pound the kritters directly after landing and walk to the end of the platform. Out in the gap is the K. ----- - O - ----- After collecting the K and landing on the next pathway jump on the tire and bounce over the drum and jump up the ledges killing the gnawtys on the way. At the top jump off onto the soft spot to release a tnt barrel. Use it on the wall behind you to find bonus 45#. In here get the single banana prize. Once you've done that a barrel will appear. Jump against the right wall with it and if you were quick enough you'll find bonus 46#. In this secret bonus spell out Donkey to get a red balloon, Kong to get a green balloon and Country to get a blue balloon. You are dropped on the tire just after the bonus. Bounce up and right to clear the drum and land on another tire. Bounce over the next drum onto yet another tire and this bounce over the ledge. After landing run right going up the slope collecting the bananas. At the end jump over the drum onto the gnawty on the ledge below. Do this twice more to find the ground. You'll bust a DK barrel out of the ground here. Throw it against the bouncing kritter. Jump the gap and enter the automatic barrel. Land on the soft spot to bounce a tire out of the ground. Just leave it there and continue going right. Up the slope and down the other side killing the bouncing kritters on the way. At the bottom jump the drum. To get the prizes high above the drums bounce off the kritters. Bounce over the first one and collect the bananas by bouncing on the kritter. Jump the next drum and the one after it. Collecting the O by bouncing off the kritter. ----- - N - ----- Walk to the right jump up the ledge and grab the continue barrel. Drop off the right ledge, keep going up the slope and collect the bananas. At the top jump on the platform and onto the oil drum when the flame dies down. From here jump down to the right onto the soft point to release a DK barrel from the ground. Keep going right jump the pit and kill the manky before he has the chance to kill you. Then go back and enter the pit we just jumped to find rambi. After bouncing out of the pit go right and jump the first pit. Head up the slope killing the kritters along the way. When you reach the top drop off the ledge and kill the manky, then keep going right up the slope killing the kritter and collecting the bananas. Don't jump on the drum to get to the higher ledge and the rest of stage, but go under the drum and smash the right wall with rambi to get bonus 47#. In here fire through the set of barrels collecting the prizes on the way. The N is one of them. ----- - G - ----- You are deposited on a ledge next to a gap with a drum in it. Ditch rambi, he is too hard to jump with. (Try the stage with rambi for a challenge!) When the flame dies down jump on the drum and off onto the next ledge. Kill the bouncing kritter here and jump onto the drum in the gap when the flame goes down. When you land on the next platform get your buddy if needed. Same as before jump on the drum when the flame dies it's in the gap to the right But this time there is two so proceed quickly. When you've land kill the two bouncing kritters coming up the slope. Walk down the slope, and jump out to the right into the gap to land on the oil drum when the flame dies. Walk right going up the next slope jumping the rolling barrels from the manky on the way up. At the top pound him. Drop off the ledge onto a lower ledge and keep heading right collecting the bananas along the way. Once coming to the end of the slope take notice of the oil drum ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oil Drum lesson ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From now on and for almost the rest of the level. The oil drums go in a sequence for there flames. It is - The first flame comes out, then with no pause will go straight back into the drum. The second flame is the same as the first one, comes out, then without pausing goes straight back in. But the third flame is completely different. It comes out pause for two seconds, then goes back in. It the pause again before starting the sequence all over. So if you jump when the third flame is about to start going in you will land on the barrel without being burnt and will have plenty of time to time your jumps properly. Now shall we continue? ______________________________________________________________________________ Now knowing all that jump onto the oil drum when the third flame is about to go in. Then straight onto the next drum, then to the tire hovering in mid-air. From the tire watch the sequence again jumping to the drum at the right time. Again keep jumping till you reach the tire. Again watch the sequence for the drum to your right and the one up on the ledge. When you land on the drum up on the ledge, jump down onto the noticeable soft spot to release the G. After collecting the G walk up the slope and exit the level. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Bonus Barrels in Oil drum Alley =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -------- Bonus 44 -------- When you enter the level jump up on the first platform kill the gnawty and ride the rope back to the start. Pound the Tnt barrel out of the ground and take it to the first oil drum that is in the ground and blast it. Drop down to find the bonus. -------- Bonus 45 -------- After jumping up a couple of ledges with gnawty's jump off onto the soft spot to release a tnt from the ground. Throw it at the wall behind you to find the bonus. -------- Bonus 46 -------- In bonus 45#. Collect the single banana prize, then a barrel will drop. Pick it up and jump with it against the right wall to find this sneaky bonus. -------- Bonus 47 -------- Just after halfway and before the first manky throwing barrels. Fall down the pit to find rambi. Use him to jump the first pit. Head up the slope killing the kritters along the way. When you reach the top drop off the ledge and kill the manky, then keep going right up the slope killing the kritter and collecting the bananas. Don't jump on the drum to get to the higher ledge and the rest of stage, but go under the drum and smash the right wall with rambi to get the bonus. ============================================================================== Level Two - Trick Track Trek Kremkroc Industries Inc ============================================================================== Type - Track Barrels - Two Difficulty - 70/100 ----- - K - ----- You immediately notice that there is a necky above you throwing nuts onto the slope. Quickly run up the slope. When you reach the top drop off collecting the bananas onto a track. Just after starting there is a buddy barrel just above a necky use him to bounce up if you have to. Soon enough there will be another vertically flying necky, Bounce on him and land back on the track. After this the track goes up then right again where a necky is flying up and down with a banana bunch above him. Bounce up and claim them if you want. On the same flat there is a necky on a platform high above throwing nuts directly down. But underneath this necky is also the K. Try and time your jump so you don't get hit whilst collecting it. ----- - O - ----- After collecting the K the platform will go up with a flying necky in the way. Get to one side of the platform so you can take him out when you have the chance. At the top the platform will go right then down, with two necky's in your way. Also take them out. At the bottom the ride heads right. Watch out here a quick flying necky tries to take off your head. After the platform goes up you can collect your buddy by jumping left when the platform gets all the way up. When riding to the right watch for the next two head hunter neckys. The platform heads down via a couple of slopes, watch out for a necky here. When the ride flattens out watch out for a coconut spitting mini-necky. Just after killing it jump on the set of three necky's that come your way to get the O. ----- - N - ----- After collecting the O the platform goes down, right, then back up. On the way up watch out for the two coconut spitting necky on the right side of the screen. At the top the platform goes right then down where you can get revenge on the coconut spitting midgets. The ride heads right at the bottom and come to an end for now. From sitting on the ride you can see bonus level 48#. Do a roll jump to get into it. In here jump on the platform to ride it around to collect some bananas. Once your done get off on the right side and exit. You are dropped at the top of slope. Go right and pounce on the gnawty. At the end jump off to the right to get the continue barrel and land on the next ride. Stand at the back of the platform and you'll miss most of the enemies that drop off onto your platform. The platform will continue going right. The enemies that drop off are a gnawty, a zinger you'll need to jump him and another two gnawty's. After continuing a bit more the ride will go up then right. At the top jump the coconuts from the necky and bash him. Just after him is a zinger flying up and down, jump him and the ride will go down. But instead of going with it jump onto the platform out to the right that holds two gnawty's Bash them then jump off to the right to find bonus 49#. In here jump o the red jumping klap trap to receive bananas and a red balloon when you defeat him. After exiting you are placed back at the start of the second track. Repeat the process to get back up to where you were. After jumping the zinger take the track down. the two gnawtys on the ledge will now drop down. Jump the first one and stand at the back to miss the second one. Next a kritter will fall off the left side of the next ledge and then a klump off the left side of the third ledge. After this little ordeal if you lost your buddy grab the barrel at the end of this flat. The ride heads down now via some slopes. At the bottom pound on the coconut spitting necky. The ride continues going right before a small up then right again. When it heads right a klump will fall off the first ledge. If you keep to the left he'll miss you. The ride take another small up before again going right. High above is a coconut dropping necky with the N under him. Like the K time your jump so you don't get hit. ----- - G - ----- After landing back on the ride it goes down then right with a klap trap dropping off the left side of the first ledge. Jump him and the platform will go down a little bit then right. Here there is a zinger flying around the G. Jump to get it the ride the goes up a tiny bit and right again. Two klap traps will fall off the first ledge. Stand at the back for the first one and move to the front for the second. Continuing to the right you come upon a manky throwing barrels at us. Dodge them and the ride will keep going right. Jump the red zinger that comes at you. After going down we go right again. Now stand at the back of the ride to miss the krusha that drops off the right side of the ledge. After this jump up the ledge and onto the walkway. Watch out for the manky throwing barrels though. Head down the slope to see the manky throwing barrels at you under the top walkway which leads to the exit. As soon as he throws a barrel that gets past you roll him for everything he has. Then drop off the edge getting the bananas and finding bonus 50# and a winky token on the same ledge if you want it. In here hit the same coloured balloon three times to win it. Don't jump on the track but jump over it to find this warp. ============================================================================== Level Three - Poison Pond Kremkroc Industries Inc ============================================================================== Type - Underwater Barrels - None Difficulty - 60/100 ----- - K - ----- At the start swim to the bottom left hand corner and swim through the wall to find a secret area that has enguarde. Swim back out the go directly up to find the K. ----- - O - ----- Swim back down and head right. Watching out for the bitesizes and collect the bananas. Head up following the banana trail and when you reach the top head right to collect a bunch of banana. Go back left watching out for the chomps Jr and keep going right. Quickly go past the mincer that is moving vertically. Now go down the slope watching out for the squidge and at the bottom go under the set of double mincers. Keep going right under another mincer to collect a banana. Swim back and go up past two horizontally moving mincers also watch for bitesizes here. Go right heading down the slope watching for the squidges. At the bottom collect your buddy. Here there is a Moving going left and right at the top and two stationary mincers on the end of each of the moving mincers runs. When the top mincer starts to go back swim over the stationary one and into the gap. Wait till the top one goes back, make your way out. Keep going to the right on enguarde and kill the bitesizes and collect the bananas. Here there are two mincers moving horizontally but at different times. To pass this easy go right to the top and they can't touch you. After passing them kill the two squidges and head up the narrow tunnel to collect the O. ----- - N - ----- Head up then right killing the squidges along the way. When you come to a small tunnel don't rush into it as there is a moving mincer in it. Follow it to make it out unharmed. After doing so collect the continue barrel. Swim right collect the banana arrow and scoot past the two mincers and out into the open. If you need enguarde ignore the banana trail and head right otherwise go up. When you reach the top of the tunnel go right scooting past the mincer. Now in this room is a DK barrel if you need it. If not head up again. At the top is a set of mincer going anti-clockwise in a circle. Split them get to the middle, then do it again to pass them to get to the next section. To the left. When you enter the narrow passage take cover in the hole until the mincer has been and passed. Follow him and enter the next hole in the roof to get the N. ----- - G - ----- After collecting the N wait till it passes then go right. You'll come upon more circling mincers. Get to the middle of them and then instead of going down go straight through the left wall to find a shortcut. When you enter it collect the banana arrow and keep going left until you find a dead end. Go through the wall to exit the shortcut and enter the little alcove in the wall straight across. Wait for it to go down the go up and follow it up and go right just in time to miss it coming back down. Collect the bananas and head into the room. This big room has some bitesizes in it and the G just before a set of moving mincers. Jump off to the right to grab a rope. Climb and jump off at the top and enter the cave to find bonus 51#. In this bonus spell out kong in the proper order to receive an expresso token. After exiting your dropped at the bottom of the ledge at the start. Walk right jump on the slippas and grab the next rope. Climb it and jump two more ropes to the right to get the K. ----- - O - ----- Jump off as far right as possible on the rope that has the K and you'll land on the nut spitting necky. Keep heading right, kill the slippa and jump the gap collecting the bananas. After landing kill the slippa and crawl through the little gap. In here kill the next two slippas and crawl out the other side and quickly grab the rope and climb it. Whilst climbing it watch for the coconut spitting necky at the top. Dodge him then jump off the rope and pound him. Jump up the ledge and grab your buddy if needed. Head right down the slope and kill the slippas coming out of the reproducing drum. Jump right, over the drum and onto the rope. When the zinger goes down jump right two ropes and onto the ground. After landing kill the slippa and crawl through the gap. Quickly scoot past the vertically moving zinger and through the next gap. In here split the next two moving zingers and crawl out into the open. Jump up and grab the rope But don't climb too high as you'll get hit by a zinger. On the first rope there is a moving zinger moving from top to halfway down the rope, on the second rope the zinger is moving from halfway to bottom and the third rope is the same as the first. But on the third rope don't jump to the ground but climb it and jump off to the right at the top to find a secret cave. To find bonus 51#. At this point change to donkey kong as there are some big guys coming up. Walk right and drop off the ledge, pound on the klump here. Now is a set of elevators. Jump onto the first one which is going down, then after landing jump right onto an up moving elevator. When it reaches the top jump off onto the next path. Grab the metal keg and throw it to take out the nut spitting necky. Next don't jump onto the down elevator but drop off the ledge and hug the wall to get the N. ----- - G - ----- Jump onto the down moving elevator then straight onto the next one going up then bail when it reaches the top again. You should land on a klump. Now head right going down the slope and kill the klump at the bottom. Grab the keg here and throw it at the moving zinger. Jump onto the up moving elevator and jump right at the top to find more klumps. After killing them. Jump down the ledge collecting the bananas. Now jump onto the down elevator then straight onto another down elevator before jumping ships to an up elevator. Kill the klump after jumping off the elevator. Grab your buddy and pound the klump at the end of the path. Now the elevators are getting harder. The first one goes up straight into a zinger. The second one goes down and the third up with a zinger at the top. After landing dispatch the nut shooting necky and jump onto the next elevator going up but watch out for the zinger. Jump to safety after landing on the platform. Now walk right past the arrow sign, collect the G and pound the nut necky. Walk right to the end of the ledge and jump on the down elevator. Watch the up elevator whilst your going down and when the gap appears jump to it. Ride this one up and at the top jump over the zinger onto the next down elevator. Ride it down and do the same as the first one jump when the gap opens. After going up jump off to land on a ledge with a tire. Bounce up over the zinger and land on the next down elevator. Ride this one all the way down and jump into the cave for bonus 53#. In this bonus Shoot up to collect the bananas. After exiting you are placed next to the exit. So in order to survive you need to know a few things: 1. Make sure you know where you are 2. If your jumping make sure you know where the next platform/ledge is. 3. Try and take in where your enemies are before the lights go out. 4. Don't do anything silly whilst the lights are out. Following these simple rules will make the level easier! ----- - K - ----- Walk right and head down the slope collecting the bananas. Grab the buddy barrel at the bottom and use it to belt the approaching kritter. Keep going right and jump the next gap to land on a lower ledge. Now run right up the slope and kill the kritter. Jump over the next gap to receive the K. ----- - O - ----- After landing walk down the slope killing the two approaching kritters. Jump right to the little platform in the gap. When ready jump to the next path and continue right. Collect the bananas here. Now jump right to land on the first of three little platforms, the second being up higher and the third having an enguarde token to the left of it. If you want it just do a roll jump. After landing on the other side kill smash the two kritters and head right up the slope. Now in the gap we have platform tire (A little platform with a half tire on it). Jump on it and bounce right, to find the next ledge. Head up the walkway giving the kritters a pounding. At the top grab your buddy if you need him. Now jump onto the three tires and land on the soft spot to break out the O. ----- - N - ----- Jump right onto the next tire and bounce up to break the continue barrel. Jump right and take care of the klump. Jump onto the stationary vine and leap off when you get to the right. Quickly pound the next klump and head up the little slope. Now jump onto the little platform moving from left to right and jump off at the other side. Now jump onto a vertically moving platform and when it reaches it's highest point jump off to the right. Roll jump the two klump coming up the slope. At the bottom time your jump so you grab a moving vine. Jump off at the other side to get a buddy barrel. Now jump on the next set of vertically moving platforms. When you land, collect the bananas and step onto the horizontally moving platform and then jump onto another one to reach the other side. Pound the klap trap and walk down the little slope. here you'll notice little wooden platforms with arrows on them, they will slowly drop down. so don't take your time. Now jump onto the first and leap to the other side. Kill the three klap traps here and keep walking right. Now is a set of arrow platforms. On the last one there is a banana below it, just stand on the platform as it goes down to reach it to get bonus 54#. In this bonus shoot through the barrel course to get some bananas and the N. ----- - G - ----- You are dropped onto a ledge and you break out a steel keg. Drop off the ledge with it and throw to the right. Now chase it as it takes out all the enemies and reveals bonus 55#. In here choose the right barrel to win a balloon. You are dropped on the ledge above the last bonus. Turn around and jump up on the platform behind you to get the G. After that drop down to the level of the bonus and run right. Keep going and kill the gnawtys that fall out of sky. When you reach the end of the walkway jump off to collect some bananas and land in the minecart to start the ride. The cart starts flat before going up a little slope. At the top is a stationary horizontal necky. Jump up kill him and keep going. The track then take a dip with another necky at the bottom. After coming out of the dip jump the necky over the gap and land in the next cart. When you land on the next section of track don't jump on the two necky's but land in between them to receive the K. ----- - O - ----- After jumping out of the two necky's the cart will go down a steepish slope. But instead of going with it jump up out of the cart to find a rope. Climb to enter a cart along a secret track lined with bananas. When you see a gap in the bananas jump up to find bonus 56#. In this bonus shoot through the set of barrels collecting bananas, a rambi token and a red balloon. After exiting you are dropped into a cart that goes right. Jump on the first necky and after landing jump up again to land on two necky's. Bounce up on them to get the O. ----- - N - ----- After landing quickly jump over the gap and into the cart. The ride then goes up a short slope before a gap in the track. There is a zinger before the gap. Jump the zinger and land back in the cart again but only for a short time as there are another three jumps. After all that jumping the carts heads down a slope where you get the continue barrel. After dropping off the ledge with the continue barrel you'll get your buddy back. The ride will continue going right. When you see two necky's bounce on them then over a gap and into the next cart. Straight after landing jump again to land in a second cart. At the end of this second carts run partially fall down the gap to gat the N. After doing so jump out of the hole into another cart. ----- - G - ----- In this cart after the N it will go up sharply. At the top jump out of the cart to land on a tire. Bounce up off the tire to find bonus 57#. In this bonus hit the same animal token three times to win it. You are placed on a tire, bounce to the right into a cart. After setting off jump through a set of zingers and then onto a tire on a little ledge that has the G. After collecting the G, jump right to land on a cart that has a Krash and claim the cart. the ride goes right, down a slope and you'll collect some bananas. At the bottom it flattens out before ending. Jump onto the tire ledge with a zinger buzzing around it. Bounce off onto the next Krash to get the cart. Straight away jump to get to the next tire ledge. Jump across onto the next tire avoiding the zinger and jump into the next cart, kicking out the Krash. The cart goes right before the next tire ledge. Now jump back into the cart. This time the cart goes up a slope with three zingers lined up you need to jump. At the top jump off to land in yet another cart. Ride this one along jumping onto another tire ledge with a zinger at the end. Jump him to land in a cart. Now you go up a very steep hill before zooming down the other side. Jump off near the bottom to land on a walkway. Kill the approaching gnawty. Now as you were going over that last hill you would have noticed a bonus barrel. From the walkway turn around and roll jump out into the gap to land on a tire. Bounce up another two tires to reach bonus 58#. In this bonus jump on the moving tire platform to collect the bananas. Bounce on this tire to reach it. -------- Bonus 58 -------- After you land on the walkway that leads to the end. Turn around and do a roll of the ledge to land on a tire. This is by far the hardest world. But it only has five levels. This world contains the only appearance by the invincible Krusha and the jumping klap trap. Well he's not really invincible, he can still be defeated by barrels. The levels in this world are: 1. Tanked Up Trouble 2. Manic Mincers 3. Misty Mine 4. Loopy Lights 5. Platform Perils 6. Necky's Revenge You will probably need a few lives for this world. ============================================================================== Level One - Tanked Up Trouble Chimp Caverns ============================================================================== Type - Track/Fuel Barrels - One Difficulty - 90/100 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fuel Troubles ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In this level we ride along a track, that is similar to Trick Track Trek but your ride has lights on the side. If you lose all the these lights your track stops and you die. The way to stop this from happening is to collect fuel barrels along the way. These barrels are marked with red dots. They indicate how much fuel lights it will fill up on your track. So make sure you don't miss any. ----- - K - ----- Jump right over the gap and climb up the slope. At the top jump right again to reach the next walkway also grabbing the DK barrel in mid air. After landing walk right and pound the kritter. Now jump onto the your cart collecting the bananas on the way to start the ride. The track starts by going right straight into the path of the first fuel barrel. Jump this fuel barrel and then stand in the middle of the track. When it runs out of fuel you will be dropped into bonus barrel 59#. In this bonus correctly choose which barrel the red balloon is in to win it. You are dropped on the cart back at it's starting point. This time collect the fuel, the platform will now go up and right. Here there is a fuel drum above a necky, jump on him to get it then land back on the platform. Now you will come across a little walkway jump up on it to collect some bananas then jump off the right side to get the next fuel barrel. After landing back on the track it goes down via a couple of slope with a necky at the bottom with the K above him. ----- - O - ----- After landing jump up on the arrow platform and grab the fuel. Jump up onto a walkway then onto another to kill a kritter and get some more fuel. Now jump back onto the track and the ride will go down. When you start going right jump up to land on an arrow platform, jump right to get some fuel and onto another arrow platforms. From here leap to the right to get some bananas. After landing back on the track. Soon enough the track will go up. Look off to the right halfway up to see a kritter on a little ledge with the O above him. Quickly bounce onto him to get the O and bounce off back onto the ride. ----- - N - ----- After landing look to the left to see another kritter on a ledge but this time with a fuel barrel above his head. Again jump to get it then jump back. The ride now goes right and then down via some slopes. At the end of the second slope there is a necky with a ledge behind him, use him to get there. From wait until the track passes underneath then jump on the necky to the right to get the fuel. Ride the track right and you'll see a fuel barrel high above. To get it jump in the auto barrel below it. Once you land back on it stay on it as it will rise up into the air where you are able to get an enguarde token. When the ride does drop leap to the right to get the continue barrel. After the continue barrel jump off the ledge and onto the track. From now on the track becomes harder and the fuel becomes lesser and lesser. Make sure you look at the red dots on the fuel. This will tell you how many lights it will fill up. When the track starts going jump up to get the DK barrel and land on the tire. When the track passes underneath jump right to get a fuel barrel and land back on the track. Now jump onto land on a necky and onto a tire platform and again over a necky to the second tire platform. From here jump out to the right to get the fuel. After going down jump onto a tire then over a zinger in the air to get some more fuel and do the same straight away after landing on the track but this time jump in between two zingers to get the fuel. After going up and right jump up to a ledge and then onto a tire with a zinger buzzing around it. Bounce up to get more fuel. Keep going, jump up onto the walkway and kill the gnawtys. Now push the tire here off the right end and land it on your track. Bounce up on it to get more fuel then kick it off. After going down enter the blast barrel to get your buddy and more fuel. After this the ride goes up then right and there is a walkway here. Don't jump on it but stay on the track to go under it and receive the N. ----- - G - ----- After collecting the N, jump up onto the walkway avoiding the gnawtys and jump off the right side in between to zingers to get a whole load of fuel. After landing again ignore the blast barrel and keep going collecting the bananas on the way. Jump over the single zinger then the double zingers to get some fuel. After going down and right jump through the two zingers to get the 1-dot fuel. It then goes up and right. Here jump a zinger to get a 1-dot fuel and another zinger to get another 1-doter. At the top of the next section jump up to get the 5-dot fuel but watch out for the circling zinger. You'll then go down and right and here you will come across three zingers. Jump the first, duck the second and jump the third to find freedom. Now the track speeds through some bananas. You'll see a ledge coming up, underneath it is some more fuel. Now if you want the easy way out, jump up onto this ledge and into the automatic barrel to be blasted to the end. But you can't get the G this way. If you choose the harder way stay on the track after getting the fuel. Now jump the three zingers getting the G which is above the third zinger. After collecting it, jump onto the walkway. Jump up the four little walkways killing the gnawty on the second one and exit the level. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bonus Barrels in Tanked Up Trouble =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -------- Bonus 59 -------- At the start of the level when you first land on the track, jump the first fuel barrel and just stay on it as it shakes when it falls you will land in the bonus barrel. ============================================================================== Level Two - Manic Mincers Chimp Caverns ============================================================================== Type - Cave Barrels - Three Difficulty - 75/100 ----- - K - ----- Walk forward and jump on the gnawty, when you come to the edge jump over the moving mincers and onto the path. Grab your buddy here and continue going right. Go under the up and down moving mincer and jump on the approaching gnawty. After pounding him there is a mincer right before a ledge you need to jump up. Grab the K from underneath him and jump up to the ledge when the mincer is at it's highest point up. ----- - O - ----- Now jump the gap when the mincer in it is all the way down. Upon reaching the other side drop off the ledge to get rambi. Jump through the two moving mincers with rambi and keep going right, killing the three gnawtys. On top of the next ledge is a vertically moving mincer, jump up and scoot under him when the mincer is up high. Go right again and jump up the next ledge with a mincer also and head right. Now is the O in between two mincers. Wait for the top one to get to it's highest point before jumping through with rambi and collecting it. ----- - N - ----- Keep going right under the two moving mincer and jump up the ledge. Now jump the stationary mincer and boot the gnawty, then jump the second and boot a second gnawty. Before jumping the third tire stop and look at it and you'll notice a left to right moving mincer after it. Jump it when the moving mincer is away, and as the mincer comes back jump it and a fourth stationary tire. Go right collecting the bananas and hit the continue barrel. Leave the Tnt barrel unless you don't have rambi, now scoot under the circling mincer and head right killing the krusha and jumping up the little ledge and getting the DK barrel. Now jump through the two clockwise circling mincers to land on the next section and drop down to the pit with the krusha and bust the right wall open to get bonus 60#. To get this bonus without rambi, kill the krusha and use the barrel just after the circling mincers to break the wall. In this bonus just keep bouncing on the klap traps to kill them. For defeating them you receive a red balloon. You are dropped on a ledge above the bonus. Keep going right and run under the three circling mincers. When you reach the end of the path board the moving platform. Jump when you come to the mincer then get off at the other side. Kill the approaching krusha with the nearby Tnt barrel. Get on the next moving platform and jump the first stationary mincer to get the N and then the second one to reach safety. ----- - G - ----- Get your buddy here if you need him, then jump out onto the stationary platform with a mincer circling it. After landing on the other side, drop down to the level with the krusha. Pound him with donkey, then jump up the ledge to the right and pound another krusha. Keep gong right and at the gap jump on the stationary tire that has two mincers circling it. From there jump right to land on the next section. Here kill the three gnawtys and keep going. You'll come across a half - circling mincer over a stationary mincer in the middle. Proceed carefully here and jump the stationary mincer when the moving one is furthest away. After coming out the other side jump up and enter the cave in the wall to get bonus 61#. In here carefully work your way past all the moving mincers to get the G. (Note this is considered a bonus room). After exiting grab your buddy if needed and get the tnt barrel and drop off the right ledge. Now jump over all the gnawtys with the tnt and smash the first wall you come too. (It's under the tire) to reveal bonus 62#. In this bonus correctly choose which barrel the red balloon is in to win it. After exiting you bust out the right wall of the last hill. Walk right to exit the level. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bonus Barrels in Manic Mincers =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -------- Bonus 60 -------- When you jump through the two circling mincers there is a barrel just after it. First drop down into the pit and kill the krusha, the jump back up to the left wall and get the barrel. Go back into the pit and smash it on the right wall to find the bonus. -------- Bonus 61 -------- Just after you pass the Half - circling mincer over a stationary mincer, you will come across a ledge with a cave in it. Jump up and enter it. -------- Bonus 62 -------- After getting the G and exiting the cave, get your buddy and grab the Tnt barrel and drop off the right ledge to find ground. Now go right jumping over the approaching gnawtys and smash it on the first wall you see to find this bonus. ============================================================================== Level Three - Misty Mine Chimp Caverns ============================================================================== Type - Mine Barrels - Two Difficulty - 80/100 ----------- - K O N G - ----------- Walk right and grab the Tnt, use it on the approaching slippa. Keep going up the slope killing all the slippas the barrel spits out. Then jump up the ledge to the right to get the DK barrel. Now keep going right killing the slippas and use their drum to scale the next ledge. From here jump right to grab the rope and ride it across collecting the bananas. Jump off and head right, going past the slippa barrel and grab the tnt. Drop off the next ledge and throw it at the snake drum to destroy it. Now jump up a couple of ledges to get another tnt barrel. Take it into the next pit and destroy the snake drum in it he ground to get a rambi token. Jump out and collect the bananas. Leap over the drum and grab the rope. At the other side jump off and then over the drum. Now walk down the slope collecting the bananas, your buddy and a tnt barrel. At the bottom drop off the ledge with the tnt barrel and blow up the snake drum. Drop off this ledge as well, kill the slippas and grab onto the rope. Ride it halfway across the gap and change ropes. Once you've ridden it over to the other side, jump off past the snake barrel and up the slope to collect the continue barrel. After getting the continue barrel keep heading right down the slope to collect some bananas and kill some slippas. Jump onto the rope and follow the banana trail to get your buddy. Once the rope has finished jump off but don't land on the path but miss it and hug the right wall to find a ledge with a cave that has bonus barrel 63#. In this bonus you'll get all the kong letters if you follow the proper trail of bananas. Jump onto the rope and take the top trail of bananas to get the K. Then go down when the line cross over to find the O. This time cross back to the top again to get the N. Then cross the last time back to the bottom to get the G. Then jump onto the ledge at the end to get expresso. You are dropped just after a gap, jump up to get an expresso token. Now discard expresso as he is useless. Go right jumping on the klap traps and leaping over the klap trap barrel. Drop off the end and use the tire in this pit to bounce out onto the ledge with a tnt. Pick it up and go right jumping the klap traps and his drum and blow the first right wall you come across to find bonus 64#. In this bonus collect the same animal token three times to win it. You are placed on the ledge above the bonus. Go right collecting the bananas and killing the klap trap, jump the three klap trap barrels collecting your buddy which is above the third one. Keep going right, jump on and use the klap trap dispenser in the gap to get yourself onto the high ledge. Up here kill the armys or just run past them and drop off the ledge into the pit, jump out a little further on and keep going. Kill all the klap traps and jump over their barrel. After landing in the next pit go right and jump out onto an army. Jump onto it's barrel and use it to jump over the gap. On the other side kill the slippas that come out of the four dispenser barrels in the ground. Keep going right down the slope and exit the barrel. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Bonus Barrels in Misty Mine =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -------- Bonus 63 -------- Just after the continue barrel jump on the rope and follow the banana trail to get your buddy. When the rope stops jump off to the right and hug the wall to find a ledge which has a cave. -------- Bonus 64 -------- After bonus 63# after you bounce out a pit on a tire. Grab the tnt and walk right jumping the klap traps and break it on the right wall to find this bonus. ****************************************************************************** Funky's Fishing ****************************************************************************** This Funky's Fishing mini-game is definitely the hardest of the game. Here you have little time and to win, you have to fill the time-meter up. To do this however you must collect combos of the same coloured fish. The bigger the combo the more time you'll get. ============================================================================== Level Four - Loopy Lights Chimp Caverns ============================================================================== Type - Mine Barrels - Two Difficulty - 90/100 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Loopy Lights Lesson ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All levels are a lot easier will lights on, To do that in this level you have to keep hitting the on barrels. Simple as that. ----- - K - ----- Walk right and grab the light switch and keep going. Watch out for the red klap trap here as they jump at the same time as you. Jump up the ledge to the right and hit the light switch. Now jump down into the gap here to find bonus 65#. In this bonus hit the switch to turn on the lights then fire through the blast barrel course to get the bananas and your K. ----- - O - ----- You are dropped under a switch, quickly jump up and get the kill the approaching jump trap (Jumping klap trap). Now head right up the slope to get your buddy. Pick up the DK barrel and walk down the slope with it and use it on the jump trap. Grab the next lights barrel then board the moving platform to hitch a ride over the gap to the right. Jump off pound the jump trap and hit the lights. Jump on the next moving platform to gat another ride across. But this time you change to a different platform halfway across. At the end of the ride jump off grab the switch and pound the jump trap. Now jump right into the gap to land on a tire platform, use this to bounce right to find more ground. Quickly kill the approaching jump traps and use the tire on the right to jump up and hit the lights switch. After reaching the end of this path, jump on the five stationary platforms to cross the big gap where there is a light switch at the end. Next there is a drop off to land in a pit of jump traps. Kill them then jump the gap to the right getting another light switch on the way. When you land jump right to get to a ledge with some bananas. Jump up and right again to find another small ledge with a jump trap. After killing him the O is in the next gap right before another small ledge. Do a roll jump to get it and land on the next ledge. ----- - N - ----- From here jump up another two ledges to find an On/Off switch. Then go right to find the continue barrel. Just after halfway barrel is another lights switch. Hit it then drop off the ledge to lower ground, kill the kritter bouncing over the small pit then drop into the pit to get your buddy. Jump out of the pit and go right to grab the lights barrel. Jump right onto the ledge and kill the kritter bouncing over the movable tire and line it up with the banana trail then bounce on it to hit the lights. Leave it now and jump onto the moving platform, once you reach the other side jump off and pound the jump trap. Walk right and drop off the ledge and onto the jump trap. Leap out of the smallish pit and hit the switch. Now jump the pit to the right and keep going jumping up the three ledges to hit a lights barrel at the top which is under a nut throwing necky. Switch on the lights grab the barrel and head down the ledges with it. Jump the pit at the bottom and hit the switch now throw the barrel into the small pit to break the wall to find bonus 66#. In this bonus Hit the on switch then jump up all the ledges collecting bananas, the N, an expresso token and an extra life on the way. ----- - G - ----- You are dropped onto a high ledge where you land on a jump trap. Fall off the right side and kill the two jump traps here then keep going right. Hit the light switch here at the and then jump onto the platform moving up and down. Time your jump before leaping to the second moving platform. From here jump off to the right when its at it's highest point to land on a bouncing kritter and also get a light switch. From this little piece of land jump right to land on a bouncing tire ledge. Bounce on three more to reach the next part of the level. Grab the light switch and drop off the right edge. Now is a set of zingers, go under the first one, jump over the second. Grab the lights barrel from the third zinger that is guarding it. Next there is two stationary zingers on the ground (Four and Five) evenly spread with another zinger (Six) flying between four and five but just high enough that you can walk under it. When zinger six is down the far end with five jump four and walk under six until you come to five. Jump five when six is with four. Now grab the G when zinger seven (The one guarding it has gone low). Jump up onto the ledge to miss zinger eight but be ready to jump as zinger nine patrols this area. Jump off the edge over the gap to the right to land on another low ledge but grabbing the lights barrel whilst doing it. Jump up six ledges avoiding the manky barrels to get another lights switch which is above the manky. Jump the gap after the manky then drop off the right ledge to hit a lights switch. Now walk toward the exit but watch out for the jump trap that comes out of the exit. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Bonus Barrels in Loopy Lights =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -------- Bonus 65 -------- Just after hitting the second light switch of the level there is a hole. In it is the bonus level. The rim of the bonus is visible. -------- Bonus 66 -------- When you come to a nut throwing necky above a light barrel. There is an ordinary barrel underneath it. Grab it and go down the slopes. Jump the pit at the bottom and smash it in the next really small pit. ****************************************************************************** Candy's Dance Studio ****************************************************************************** Pump out the moves with candy this one last time to win for the final time. ============================================================================== Level Five - Platform Perils Chimp Caverns ============================================================================== Type - platform Barrels - Two Difficulty - 95/100 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Krusha Lessons ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the last level of the game and is the hardest. It also has the appearance of the unbeatable krusha. He can only be defeated by barrels. So make sure you hit them or your dead meat. ----- - K - ----- Grab the barrel and walk right with it an throw it at the krusha. Keep going and jump on the right arrow platform. But before it starts moving, walk off the left side to fall onto a secret left arrow platform. Ride this to the left to find bonus 67#. In here spell out kong in the four barrels to win an expresso token. After exiting you are dropped onto a slope, walk up it to the right killing the army to get your buddy at the top. Throw the other barrel here at the army on the end of the walkway. Jump off the end to the right to land on an arrow platform that goes right. Jump up onto the up platform when you are close enough. Leap off to the right to land on a walkway when the up platform is high enough. Jump on the three klumps whilst going down the slope, at the bottom of the walkway jump off onto another arrow platform collecting the K along the way. ----- - O - ----- Ride it up then jump right to land on a down platform. Ride it Halfway down and jump over a zinger to land on one that goes right. Jump another zinger and land on the walkway. Walk right and kill the two armys that attack you. Jump up onto the walkway that the armys came from and at the end of the walkway jump onto an up arrow platform. Don't ride it but just leap off to the right. From here jump onto the down platform then jump over two zingers and onto a walkway. Kill the army that attacks you then jump to his walkway. From there jump right onto and down arrow platform and over to another walkway. Two armys will attack you from high above, dispose of them with the barrel. At the end of the walkway jump onto the arrow platform that goes down. Quickly jump over three more down platforms watching the zingers on the second and fourth to reach the walkway. Pick up the barrel here, jump the gap and head up the slope to the right. At the top dispose of the army with the barrel then go right up two more slopes with armys. At the top jump onto the down arrow platform and ride it down low enough to get the O then jump right to the walkway that has the continue barrel. ----- - N - ----- After collecting the O and the continue barrel, walk right. At the end of this walkway jump down onto the right arrow platform killing the gnawty. Ride it along for a bit and jump up to get your buddy and land back on the platform. When it comes into reach leap onto the ledge that has an army on it. From there jump down onto the next arrow platform that goes right, killing the gnawty and grab the N that has a zinger circling around it. ----- - G - ----- After landing back on the ride, jump right onto another arrow platform that goes right. Sit on it for a short period then jump right to the next arrow platform that goes up killing the gnawty in the process. When it reaches a high enough point leap right to a down platform with a gnawty. When the platform shakes jump off to the right to land on another arrow platform that goes right, collect some bananas here and jump off at the end to land on a klump. Now quickly jump onto the walkway. Walk up the slope and kill the klump on the way. At the top use the tire to bounce up and right to land on another tire. From this second tire jump up and right again but this time to land on a downward arrow platform with a gnawty. Jump over three more platforms to land on a walkway at the bottom. Here pick up the barrel and throw it at the zinger in between the two walkways. Pick up the barrel on the second walkway and throw it at the krusha on the down arrow platform in the gap. Switch to donkey here if you have him and jump onto and over to a tiny walkway that has the exit arrow. Jump over the zinger and onto the arrow platform that goes right. Collect the bananas then jump right to another platform with a barrel. Travel along and use the barrel to kill the krusha on the next platform. Jump to it then to the tire. Use the tire to bounce up to a platform that goes left with a barrel. Pick it up and throw it at the krusha when it comes into sight, then jump to it's platform. Ride it back to the right and jump the zinger to land on another arrow platform with a barrel. As the platform goes down stand to the right side and when the krusha comes into sight throw the barrel at him and leap onto his platform. Ride this right for a bit then jump onto a slightly higher platform to get a barrel. Jump back onto the platform going right and throw it at the krusha on the next platform. Use this platform to reach the tire. Bounce on the tire to reach the platform. Ride this back to the left, then jump to a slightly higher platform with a barrel. Ride it to the right now collecting the G on the way. Don't bother with the barrel just jump onto the last arrow platform of the stage which has a gnawty. Now don't bother jumping onto the walkway but stay on the platform as it goes down. When you see a lone banana out to the right jump off and get it as you'll land on a secret walkway. On this walkway walk to the right end of it to see bonus 68# out in the gap. Jump to it. In this bonus the last of the game, choose which barrel the enguarde token is in to win it. You are dropped right next to the exit, so exit the last level of the game. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Bonus Barrels in Platform Perils =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -------- Bonus 67 -------- At the start kill the krusha with the barrel. When you get to the ledge drop onto the platform. But instead of riding it, drop off the left side of it to find a secret arrow platform that goes back under the start to find the bonus. -------- Bonus 68 -------- On the last arrow platform of the game don't jump onto the walkway but stay on it and ride it down. A chance to finally get all your bananas back. K.Rool will not go down easy but using this strategy will make it a lot easier. Now go get him. Type - Big Ugly Kremling Way to Defeat: =-=-=-=- Part One =-=-=-=- First off walk right to see the king of kremlings. He throws his crown at you so jump it and stomp on his head whilst it's unprotected. After he then charges at you, repeat what you've just done twice more to force him to change attacks. Things to watch - Just make sure you don't get hit by the crown =-=-=-=- Part Two =-=-=-=- After throwing his crown again, he'll bounce on the spot for a while then leap directly over your head to the other side of the ship. After landing cannonballs start raining down on the ship. To avoid them roll under them. When the cannonballs have finished he throws his crown so jump on him. Repeat twice more for him to die. But watch out as the cannonballs rain on the ship for longer each time. Things to watch - The cannonballs just roll under them (not into them) and you should be fine. =-=-=-=-=- Part Three =-=-=-=-=- K.Rool starts moving again so stand just to his right and when he gets up he'll hop over you to get to the other side of the ship. he again throws his crown but as you can see its getting faster. After jumping on his head, repeat the process to defeat him. But watch out as his leaps get smaller and smaller (exhaustion I'd have to say) After jumping on him for the last time sit back and let the credits roll. Things to watch - his jumping skills decrease as he runs out of energy (the lazy scumbag). So make sure you time your rolls right. Finally this walkthrough has finished. Don't try and jump on him with Diddy he'll just laugh you off. ----- Necky ----- Description - A vulture like bird Way to defeat - both - jump Attacks - Fly at you Just jump on him for an easy kill. ---------- Mini-Necky ---------- Description - A smaller version of necky Way to defeat - both - Jump Attacks - Spits coconuts at you. Just watch out for his coconuts. ------ Zinger ------ Description - Closely resembles a bee Way to defeat - both - with item eg. Barrel Attacks - Fly at you Watch out for red zingers, they cannot be defeated with anything except Tnt barrels. ---- Army ---- Description - A little thing that turns into a ball. Way to Defeat - Both - Jump Attacks - Tries to roll into you. Try and jump on them before they have the chance to roll into a ball. It will make it a lot easier. ---------- Manky Kong ---------- Description - An orang-utan that throws barrels. Way to defeat - both - Jump on it. Attacks - Throws barrels at you. Man these guys can !@#$ me off. Kill them before they hit you with there barrels. ------ Slippa ------ Description - A snake Way to defeat - both - jump on it. Attacks - just slithers away along the ground. Just jump on them to get rid of them. ------ Chomps ------ Description - A shark Way to defeat - both - can't Attacks - Swim Can't defeat these guys unless you have enguarde. --------- Chomps Jr --------- Description - Chomps's little brother Way to defeat - both - can't Attacks - Swim. Not unless you have enguarde. ------- Squidge ------- Description - A bottle like thing. Way to defeat - both - can't Attacks - Swim These guys swim onto the screen from anywhere. Watch out for them. ------ Mincer ------ Description - Big wheel with spikes that can move. Way to defeat - both - can't Attacks - Moves in various directions Watch out for these guys in the underwater levels. ----- Krash ----- Description - A kritter that rides in a mine cart the wrong way. Way to defeat - both - Jump on Attacks - Rides the wrong way along the track. These guys can be annoying sometimes. Watch out for them. --------- Rock Kroc --------- Description - Very fast Kremling. Only found in Stop and Go station. Way to defeat - both - can't, But you can stop them by hitting the stop barrel Attacks - Run very fast Hit the barrel to stop them and you'll have no troubles. ------ Clambo ------ Description - A clam which shoots pearls. Way to defeat - both - can't Attacks - Shoots pearls at you. These guys can shoot upto 5 pearls at once. -------- Bitesize -------- Description - A small fish that usually travel in groups Way to Defeat - Both - can't Attacks - swim Can only be defeated when you have enguarde. --------- Croctopus --------- Description - An octopus which likes to spin. Way to defeat - both - can't Attacks - chase you. Watch out for these guys in croctopus chase. The name says it all. ______________________________________________________________________________ |9. Boss Strategies| ______________________________________________________________________________ The strategies in my walkthrough weren't very detailed. They only outlined the basics for each boss. This section will be more detailed. ============================================================================== Kongo Jungle Boss ============================================================================== ------------------- Very Gnawty Rampage ------------------- Type - Giant Gnawty Difficulty - 10/100 Number of hits - 5 ----------- Walkthrough ----------- Walk right at the start into the middle of the banana arena to find your hopping opponent. Jump on him straight away. Once you land watch out for his gigantic jump when he turns red. Turn around and when he changes back to normal jump on him again and then take cover. After his big jump and his change back to normal colouring, hit him again then avoid his leap. Can you now see the pattern? Now his hopping along the ground start to get slightly bigger. Again leap on him, then avoid him. Jump on him for the last time to claim victory. ============================================================================== Monkey Mines Boss ============================================================================== ------------ Necky's Nuts ------------ Type - Giant Necky Difficulty - 20/100 Number of Hits - 5 ----------- Walkthrough ----------- Walk into the middle and bounce on the tire. Necky will now show itself on the side of the screen. Notice he is red, you can only inflict damage when he is normal. He spits a nut at you then changes to normal, so bounce off the tire and land on his head. He'll go off the screen and reappear somewhere else. Avoid the nut again and when he colour goes away leap onto him. Again he'll reappear somewhere else and spit another nut. Use the tire to avoid it and land on it's head. After reappearing do it twice more to get the victory. ============================================================================== Vine Valley Boss ============================================================================== ----------------- Bumble. B. Rumble ----------------- Type - Giant Zinger Difficulty - 50/100 Number of hits - 5 ----------- Walkthrough ----------- Walk forward and avoid the swoop from the zinger. Now grab the barrel and smash it into him. Notice how he follows you. Pick up the next barrel and watch as several little zingers appear around their leader. Throw the barrel at the little ones while you have the chance. Now he will swoop you again use the barrels to take out the little zingers, then another to inflict damage. He will then go to the side again and more zinger will appear around him. More than last time. Again take them out with barrels then hit the leader with another. Do you see the pattern now? Repeat this three more times to kill this boss. ============================================================================== Gorilla Glacier Boss ============================================================================== --------------------- Really Gnawty Rampage --------------------- Type - Giant Gnawty (Very Gnawty's Cousin) Difficulty - 20/100 Number of hits - 5 ----------- Walkthrough ----------- Walk to the centre and jump onto the gnawty. Now he'll do a massive jump and when he lands it'll shake the ground making spikes fall out of the roof of the cave. Avoid them and once they've finished he'll start hopping at you again. So leap onto him and after the giant jump again avoid the spikes. Do this three more times to defeat very gnawtys cousin. ============================================================================== Kremkroc Industries Boss ============================================================================== -------------- Boss Dumb Drum -------------- Type - Giant Drum Difficulty - 20/100 Number of hits - 5 ----------- Walkthrough ----------- Run to the right straight away to avoid being flattened. Dumb drum the goes back off screen. He shows himself again and release two kritters to kill you. After disposing of them and landing don't stay in the one spot too long as the drum tries to drop on you. Once he has landed grab the tnt and smash him with it. He then throws out two slippas. Kill them grab the tnt and hit him when he drop. Now two klap traps, repeat the said process. Then the same for two klumps and the last time for two armys. After hitting him for the last time he explodes. ============================================================================== Chimp Caverns Boss ============================================================================== --------------- Necky's Revenge --------------- Type - Two Giant Necky's! (Master Necky & His Father) Difficulty - 60/100 Number of its - 5 for each necky ----------- Walkthrough ----------- Jump onto the tire in the centre of the arena and two necky's will come at you, one from each side. The necky on the right will spit a nut first, so bounce over it and onto its head. Do this four more times to defeat the first necky. The same process applies for the second necky as well, but it shoots from both sides of the screen and you have to avoid four nuts before you can hit him. Just after the continue barrel, there is a millstone in a little ditch. In this ditch is the picture. To get it you have to move the millstone. Rumble =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 17. In this boss give her a hand slap on her stinger to win it. Just after the continue barrel the first time you go up keep your eye on the left hand side of the screen and when you see a banana swim to it to find a shortcut. From here instead of going left, go up through the S-bends and right. Stick to the top to avoid the croctopus and then past the chomps. When you come to the auto barrel squeeze down the gap next to it and swim down. When you see a crack swim through it to end up in a room with two croctopus's.
