All the style of the game is much different than the well known Dance Dance Revolution games, you might find yourself enjoying yourself! I noticed this game didn't have any FAQ's for it, so I decided to write this. You can't really write a Walkthrough on how to play this game, it's mostly practice makes perfect. However, this guide is intended to help you get the most out of this game. This is only my 2nd FAQ (my other being a Game Script for GoldenEye:Rouge Agent), so don't be too harsh! *-------------------------------------*--------------------------------------* | | | J U S T D A N C E (JTDCE) | | | *-------------------------------------*--------------------------------------* Just Dance, this is the mode you're going to be using most while you play this game. Once you select this on this on the main menu, you are taken to a screen that has a list of all the songs you can dance too. It also gives you a preview of the song, beats per-minute, and time. Once you select a song to dance too, a difficulty level option comes up. EASY---This is a good place to start if you have never played a dance game before. There are only four directional arrows, so new players won't feel overwhelmed with eight directions at once. MODERATE---This is for more experienced players. If you have spin mode on you will have arrows going in eight directions. This is may sound very hard, but people who have experience on Easy mode shouldn't have a terribly hard time. EXPERT---Vetrans: come here! This is where the game can get incredibly hard. I recommend having lots of experience with the game before coming here. This is what the screen looks like: SPIN: ------------------------------------ | | | | | * * * | | | | * I * | | | | * * * | | | | | |\\\\\ | |xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx000 | | | ------------------------------------ *=Arrow. When one of the flashing arrows reaches this area, you touch the corresponding arrow on your pad. I=Spawn. This is where you'll first start to see the arrows. \\\\\=Score. This is your total score. xxxxxxxx=This is the combo area. The more the bar fills up, the bigger a combo you have. 000=Dancer. If you get the bar completely filled, a dancing person appears here. SCROLL: ------------------------------------ | * * * * | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | \\\\\ I | | xxxxxxxxxxxxx000 | | | ------------------------------------ (See above for symbol meanings) ======= Notes: ======= 1. CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR PAD WORKS CORRECTLY!!! I can't stress this enough! When I first got this game, I thought it was horrible because I thought that the pad wasn't responsive enough. Then I found out it was defected. I don't know how widespread this problem this is, but it doesn't hurt to check. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. MAKE SURE THE PAD DOESN'T MOVE WHILE YOU PLAY! Put something heavy on the edges of the pad, so it doesn't shift around while you play. It can get really annoying when it starts to turn around while you play. *-------------------------------------*--------------------------------------* | | | D A N C E W O R K O U T (DCWTO) | | | *-------------------------------------*--------------------------------------* Want to see how much of a workout you're getting from this game? Look no further! This mode will actually show you how many calories you are losing while you play! The setup is the same as Just Dance mode. You choose the song, but you have no choice in how difficult you want it. The game automatically chooses moderate. The screen is the same as Just Dance mode, except you'll see a Cals: 000 in the lower left corner of the screen. As you play, you'll notice that it goes up. This is how many calories you are burning. At the end of the song, a Workout Over screen will appear, showing you how many calories you burned. Working out has never been so fun! *-------------------------------------*--------------------------------------* | | | D A N C E T O G E T H E R (DCTTR) | | | *-------------------------------------*--------------------------------------* Interested in playing this game with your friends? If so, make sure to get a second game pad-playing this game with a controller is really boring. If you are looking to play against your friend for the highest score, this is NOT the place to go. This mode relies on co-operation with your friend. In this mode both you and your friend work together to get combos. You'll notice the screen is set up differently. It's not a split screen, you'll just see two scroll/spin areas on the same screen. The combo bar is at the top of the screen now, so you can see all the arrows. Also, you and your friend will be getting different arrows, so don't think your friend will just be able to watch you. At the end of the game the score is added up, for ONE single score. *-------------------------------------*--------------------------------------* | | | D A N C E F A C E O F F (DCFEF) | | | *-------------------------------------*--------------------------------------* Interested in playing this game with your friends?
