Supports are off topic conversations between two characters. They may or may not have anything to do with whats happening in the story. And they also offer decent stat boosts. This game, unlike the 2 GBA American Fire Emblem games,calculates support points by chapter. Two Characters simply have to be on the map to gain a support point. Support points are how long it takes for a support to happen. When you get enough points,you can go to the menu in between chapters to complete a support. Each unit has an affinity to determine the stat gains from supports. Each character is (still) limited to 5 supports each. Though you can now gain multiple support levels per chapter. But with this new style, you will get very few oppotunities to do more than one support per chapter. Next up, we have the actual supports.
