Also, I identify what kind of monster it is(Flying, Undead, Ghost), and their weaknesses. Section 2-Monster Bestiary 1)How to use the FAQ Use the monsters below for examples. Lets take Abaddon for an example first. Next to his name, it says Flying. Flying monsters need to be taken down by Gravity(spell), before you can give it major damage. Gravity also has another purpose. If the monster has no stars next to gravity(see couple sentences down if you are confused), then if you cast Gravity on it, it will drain one half of the monsters HP. However, this will only work once. If the monster has one star, then casting gravity will drain one fourth of its HP. If there are 2 stars, then Gravity will drain One-tenth of its HP. Finally, if the monster has three stars next to Gravity, then Gravity will not do any damage to it.Undead and Ghost monsters need to be "alive" by casting Holy. You need to cast Holy to give it major damage. The HP, strength, defense, and magic are listed with numbers.If you do not know how to interpret the numbers, compare them with your stat number. Next, look at all the spells in the game with stars next to them. No stars, mean that the monster has NO resistance to it, meaning that it is particulary weak to it. One star means that it is a little resistant to it, two stars mean that it is fairly resistant to it, and three stars means that the monster is very resistant to it. Finally, the two boxes at the bottom, tell you what main element(Fire, Ice, Lightning) it is strong and weak against. If there is nothing there, than it means that they dont have anything strong or weak. All the stats here are for Cycle 1 and for one player.
