Credits ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Introduction to Shina ---------------------------------------------------------------- Well basically, this is just asking the question, do you really want to play as Shina? Is she your type of character? Well, let's see. If you've played as Gado, you'll catch on quickly. Shina is basically giving Gado the combos he doesn't have, without the super power. They have big differences, though, but you can tell she's taken after her old man all right. Shina is still basically brawn over longass combos, but she has her shares of those here and there. You could say she's basically an all around character, and easy to get used to quickly. She uses punches, kicks, and beast attacks equally, although you may be swaying toward one or the other after a while. Overall, she's a very fun character to play as, not to mention attactive, and she's not that hard to be good with. She's still got those things that the people who would want to master her want, so she's basically for everyone. Not too strong, not too fast. Just right. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Story Information ---------------------------------------------------------------- Shina is the adopted daughter of Alan Gado, a now United Nations soldier. She was raised by Gado to be a strict soldier. Shina is 19 years old and of French decent. Despite that fact, she looks extremely Japanese and sounds very American. At one time, she was told that Gado was part of the Beast Liberation Battle Line, so she investigated to find out why he wasn't open to her about this. It struck her that she was not actually Gado's biological father, but she didn't care. In BR:PF, since the plotline is so shallow, she's basically fighting only because she's a Zoanthrope. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Additional Information ---------------------------------------------------------------- - In Japan, Shina's name is Janne Gado, and she is nicknamed "Marvel" because of her amazing skills as a soldier. - Shina is very similar in fighting style to Gado. If you know how to use Gado, chances are, you'll learn Shina quite quickly and vice versa. - Shina has two costumes. A blue and red army-type outfit, and a very tight and lightweight black top with white shorts. The army fatigues outfit is considered her "true" outfit, because it is the outfit she wears in the anime scenes. However, as a somewhat interesting piece of information, only her alternate costume has a "bounce factor." It is quite possibly the largest factor out of all the characters, actually. - Shina's red undershirt reads "K.M.F." No word yet on what it stands for. - Shina actually uses a bit of Tae Kwon Do. Some of her moves are almost exactly the same as Hwoarang's moves from Tekken. - Shina can jump off walls when in beast form. (That is, if the walls are still there. LOL) - When Shina is in her beast form, if you watch her idle animation for a while, she will yawn and wiggle her ears like a kitty. The yawn is totally random, so you may be waiting a while. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Combo System (Build your Own Combo!) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Note: I do not add the names of the attacks, only the descriptions. I feel it's unneccessary since they don't announce their attacks like characters in Street Fighter. Note: Life bars are 200 total damage points. Note: These combos are in link form. You thought Long, Shenlong, and Uriko were the only characters with chain combos? Wrong. Fwd: Forward Bk: Back Up: Up (duh) Dwn: Down Throw: Block/Throw (Y Button) P: Punch (B button) K: Kick (A button) B: Beast (X button) QCF: Quarter Circle Forward (Dwn, DwnFwd, Fwd) QCB: Quarter Circle Back (Dwn, DwnBk, Bk) _: Non-Link* /: If hit out of combo** * Some attacks will link, but will not combo. That is, the opponent can block inbetween hits. The "Non-Link" symbol dignifies that the hits will not combo to register multiple hits. ** Attacks do different amounts of damage if the first hits of the combo are missed. The first number is in combo, the second is outside combo. -------------------------------- -- P P -------------------------------- Damage: 9, 8/9 Total Damage: 17 Beast Damage: 13, 12/13 Total Beast Damage: 25 Hits: High, High Notes: Punch punch... times two of the same hit. -- Links To: _P_K Damage: 12, 24 Total Damage w/ combo: 53 Beast Damage: 16, 35 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 76 Hits: High, High Notes: The kick knocks the opponent down and also switches planes a bit. Any move can be linked after this combo, thought I suggest using QCF+K for a cool looking air combo (If you are in Beast Mode, otherwise it won't connect. If you're in human mode, do QCF+P for a nice juggle starter.) _K Damage: 25 Total Damage w/ combo: 32 Beast Damage: 36 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 61 Hits: High Notes: This knocks the opponent down and also switches planes a bit. _Dwn+K Damage: 14 Total Damage w/ combo: 31 Beast Damage: 20 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 45 Hits: Low Notes: Stuns opponent for short period of time which leaves you time for another combo. Cheap if used correctly. Use it a lot if you can get used to it. -------------------------------- -- K K -------------------------------- Damage: 14, 10/12 Total Damage: 24 Beast Damage: 20, 14/17 Total Beast Damage: 34 Hits: High, High Notes: Kick kick... I'm seeing a pattern. -- Links To: _K Damage: 25 Total Damage w/ combo: 49 Beast Damage: 36 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 70 Hits: High Notes: This knocks the opponent down and also switches planes a bit. _Fwd+K Damage: 9 Total Damage w/ combo: 33 Beast Damage: 13 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 43 Hits: Mid Notes: This has its own linking pattern. (Listed below) -------------------------------- -- Fwd+P P -------------------------------- Damage: 10, 8/9 Total Damage: 18 Beast Damage: 14, 10/13 Total Beast Damage: 24 Hits: Mid, Mid Notes: Elbows right in the chest. Two of the same one, too. Lots of repetition. =D -- Links To: _P Damage: 9, 8 Total Damage w/ combo: 35 Beast Damage: 13, 12 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 49 Hits: Mid, Mid Notes: This does two hits that combo to one another. It can be linked into any move, but the best would be the QCB+K, because it utilizes the stun time and it actually combos! You can also link the branch combo itself into a move. -------------------------------- -- Bk+P P -------------------------------- Damage: 17, 13/17 Total Damage: 30 Beast Damage: 24, 18/24 Total Beast Damage: 42 Hits: High, Mid Notes: This comes out extremely slow. Learn the timing for it and it can be a mind game. It will also link, but not combo from one regular kick. -- Links To: B B Damage: N/A Total Damage w/ combo: N/A Beast Damage: 35 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 91 Hits: Mid, High Notes: This is a very interesting combo. The first Beast Attack does NOT hit, but the second one will actually COMBO, registering 3 hits! It's incredibly useful when in beast mode, and really messes with the opponent's mind. You can also link the branch combo itself into a move, which is very useful for making the switch from human to beast mode. The coolest looking way I do it is I link it to QCF+B and it comes out IMMEDIATELY. The opponent doesn't know what the hell just happened. -------------------------------- -- Fwd+K -------------------------------- Damage: 9 Total Damage: 9 Beast Damage: 13 Total Beast Damage: 13 Hits: Mid Notes: This is one of Shina's main combo chains. Use it A LOT. It can link, but not combo from the K K chain. -- Links To: K K Damage: 9/12, 8/9/12 Total Damage w/ combo: 26 Beast Damage: 13/16, 12/13/16 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 38 Hits: High, High Notes: Here's where it gets fun. First of all, the last kick can be faked by pressing punch instead of kick. Second of all, this link will link into the P P chain. Talk about major linkage. Also as a note, the damage has 3 different numbers on the second kick because it can be hit with all the attacks in the chain connecting, or just the 2nd kick attack, or just the last. Thus, three different damage numbers. On another note, you can link this into another attack, Dwn+K, which will stun the opponent which leaves them open for ANOTHER combo. Aside from the Dwn+K, it will also link to Dwn+P, which will do her kick fake. Fwd+K_K Damage: 12/13, 21 Total Damage w/ combo: 42 Beast Damage: 16/18, 30 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 55 Hits: Mid, Mid Notes: Very good combo. This is also very good for juggles. And if you are Tekken fans, it won't take you long before you notice that this is Hwoarang's move. Using the stun time of this move, you can link almost ANY combo or move. It is extremely crazy, but time it right and it will link. Including this combo again. You could say it's an infinite, but the last hit doesn't really combo. -------------------------------- -- B B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 18, 13/16 Total Beast Damage: 31 Hits: Mid, Mid Notes: Standard beast starter. -- Links To: _B Damage: N/A Total Damage w/ combo: N/A Beast Damage: 35 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 35 Hits: High Notes: Knocks the opponent clear across the screen, garunteeing a wall hit. When the opponent hits the wall, they take 10 damage, and 1 damage when they hit the floor. _Fwd+K Damage: N/A Total Damage w/ combo: N/A Beast Damage: 13 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 13 Hits: Mid Notes: Yup, that combo chain again. You know the drill. _Fwd+B_Bk+B Damage: N/A Total Damage w/ combo: N/A Beast Damage: 20, 35 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 86 Hits: High Notes: This combo is BRUTAL if pulled off. The last hit Will send the opponent soaring across the board, garunteeing a wall hit, which does 12 damage, and falling on the ground gives you an extra 1 damage. Leaves your back turned. -------------------------------- -- Fwd+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 21 Total Beast Damage: 21 Hits: Mid Notes: N/A -- Links To: _B Damage: N/A Total Damage w/ combo: N/A Beast Damage: 20 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 41 Hits: Mid Notes: N/A Fwd+B_B_P Damage: N/A Total Damage w/ combo: N/A Beast Damage: 16, 20, 26 Total Beast Damage w/ combo: 83 Hits: Mid, Mid, Mid Notes: Nasty combo. Looks like it hurts, too. The last hit impales the opponent into the ground, which does an extra 2 damage. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Easy Combo List ---------------------------------------------------------------- For all you people out in video game world, I have made a special treat for you. If you are too lazy to learn, understand, and master the combo system, then I have arranged a simple list of combos for you to read straight out of the book. I'm only including the combos in the manual, though, because I want you all to think a little while and make my Combo System section worth the whole day it was worth. :) Note: This list also includes smaller combos that didn't exactly fit themselves into the combo system explained above. They are only 2 or 3 hit combos, though, so don't get your knickers in a twist. M-VI Stinger: P P P K M-VI Nupperm: P P Dwn+K M-VI Nupperm Fake: P P Dwn+P Hunting Arrow: Fwd+P K (Also without the Fwd) Assault Kick Mine: Fwd+K K K Dwn+K Triple Low Scratch: B B Dwn+B Lighting Slash: DwnFwd+P Fwd+B B Bk+B Hunting Double: P P P G-III Combination: K K K Assault Kick Bomb: Fwd+K Fwd+K K Angry Crow Judgement: B B B G-III General Attack Combination: K K Fwd+K K K P P P K ---------------------------------------------------------------- 6. Alternate Attacks ---------------------------------------------------------------- "Alternate attacks?" You ask. Yes, alternate attacks. This section is for the attacks that don't quite fit themselves in anywhere. They're just kind of... there. ---------------------- --- ALTERNATE HITS --- ---------------------- -------------------------------- -- Dwn+P -------------------------------- Damage: 7 Total Damage: 7 Beast Damage: 10 Total Beast Damage: 10 Hits: Mid/Low Notes: Punches the opponent right in the nuts. Almost totally useless except for poking. Extremely slow, and does not link to a single thing. -------------------------------- -- Dwn+K -------------------------------- Damage: 12 Total Damage: 12 Beast Damage: 18 Total Beast Damage: 18 Hits: Low Notes: Kicks the opponent in the knee from the side. Average, weak, slow kick. Again, like Dwn+P, useless. It's there to basically penalize you for button mashing. -------------------------------- -- DwnBk+P -------------------------------- Damage: 13 Total Damage: 13 Beast Damage: 18 Total Beast Damage: 18 Hits: Low Notes: Swipes her arm across the leg area. Somewhat slow. Only useful for countering high combos, and mind games. -------------------------------- -- DwnFwd+P -------------------------------- Damage: 12 Total Damage: 12 Beast Damage: 17 Total Beast Damage: 17 Hits: Mid Notes: Ducks and punches you right in the gut. It will actually link into Fwd+B_B_Bk+B. -------------------------------- -- Up+P -------------------------------- Damage: 20 Total Damage: 20 Beast Damage: 26 Total Beast Damage: 26 Hits: Mid Notes: Shina hops into the air and pounds you in the head. Her human form does not make you fall to the ground, but the beast form does, and does an extra 2 damage for hitting the ground. This move is excellent for mind games and evasion techniques. -------------------------------- -- Fwd Fwd+P -------------------------------- Damage: 20 Total Damage: 20 Beast Damage: 26 Total Beast Damage: 26 Hits: Mid Notes: Do no dash. Press Punch as you press the second Forward. Shina does a headbutt that knocks the opponent back a ways. The beast form does 7 damage if the opponent hits a wall. -------------------------------- -- DwnBk+K -------------------------------- Damage: 14 Total Damage: 14 Beast Damage: 20 Total Beast Damage: 20 Hits: Low Notes: Shina swipes her foot across the opponent's feet making them stumble a little. If you can time it right, the stun time let's you start a new combo. -------------------------------- -- DwnFwd+K -------------------------------- Damage: 19 Total Damage: 19 Beast Damage: 25 Total Beast Damage: 25 Hits: Mid Notes: A nice, fast little roundhouse to the chest. Relatively fast recovery. Does not link to anything. -------------------------------- -- Dwn+K (while opponent is on ground) -------------------------------- Damage: 8 Total Damage: 8 Beast Damage: 10 Total Beast Damage: 10 Hits: Low Notes: Stomps on the opponent. Always do it when you can. No risk involved. -------------------------------- -- Bk+K -------------------------------- Damage: 25 Total Damage: 25 Beast Damage: 36 Total Beast Damage: 36 Hits: High Notes: Shina roundhouses the opponent straight in the face, knocking them down and changing the plane a bit. Extremely powerful and comes out relatively quickly. Use it whenever you can. -------------------------------- -- Up+K -------------------------------- Damage: 22 Total Damage: 22 Beast Damage: 32 Total Beast Damage: 32 Hits: Mid Notes: Shina hops into the air and forces the opponent into the ground with her foot. Looks painful. Very good and effective move. Both modes of Shina do 2 extra damage when the opponent hits the ground. -------------------------------- -- Fwd Fwd+K -------------------------------- Damage: 30 Total Damage: 30 Beast Damage: 36 Total Beast Damage: 36 Hits: Mid Notes: Shina hops forward into the air, crunches up, and totally lets out a wicked blow with both of her feet as the opponent goes soaring across the entire level. VERY painful looking move. Comes out a bit slow. Can be used to evade. Human form does 7 damage when the opponent hits the wall, Beast does 10, plus the extra 1 from hitting the ground. -------------------------------- -- DwnBk+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 21 Total Beast Damage: 21 Hits: Low Notes: Shina turns around on the ground and does a tiny kick that looks more painful than it should. The attack leave her back to the opponent, so you can follow-up with a Dwn+B and slash their feet. Basically a useless move. -------------------------------- -- Up+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 33 Total Beast Damage: 33 Hits: Mid Notes: Shina jumps up and does a sommersault a la Guile. Comes out pretty fast, and decent damage. Also good anti-air. However, the end lag is TERRIBLE. If you whiff this one, you're going to pay for it. -------------------------------- -- Bk+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 40 Total Beast Damage: 40 Hits: Mid Notes: Another whack you across the whole level attacks. She turns around and back kicks you, doing good damage, plus 10 extra damage from the wall, and 1 from the ground. Her back is turned when she finishes. -------------------------------- -- Fwd Fwd+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 26 Total Beast Damage: 26 Hits: Mid Notes: Jumps up and slashes downward for a quick and painful strike. Decent damage, too. Almost no end lag. -------------------------------- -- DwnFwd+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: N/A Total Beast Damage: N/A Hits: Mid Notes: Shina crawls on the ground primitively. If you hit DwnFwd+P shortly after you do it, you an elbow uppercut worth 13 damage. The uppercut launches the opponent into the air. Good for surprise attacks and evasion. -------------------------------- -- Fwd Fwd(Dash) P -------------------------------- Damage: 22 Total Damage: 22 Beast Damage: 31 Total Beast Damage: 31 Hits: Mid Notes: Shina will tackle you to the ground and roll over to your other side. This is just like Gado's Bck Fwd+P move. It is blockable. Does 1 damage for hitting the ground. -------------------------------- -- Fwd Fwd(Dash) K -------------------------------- Damage: 20 Total Damage: 20 Beast Damage: 29 Total Beast Damage: 29 Hits: Low Notes: Your basic slide. Stuns the opponent a little, but also has bad recoil. They balance out. Use it for poking. -------------------------------- -- Fwd Fwd(Dash) B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 25 Total Beast Damage: 25 Hits: Mid Notes: Pounces on the opponent, blowing them a ways across the screen. Very unrealistic. The wall hit does 10 damage, and the floor hit does 1. -------------------------------- -- Jump+P -------------------------------- Damage: 7 Total Damage: 7 Beast Damage: 11 Total Beast Damage: 11 Hits: Mid/High Notes: Downward weak punch. No recoil, no stun, fast, weak, usefull for annoyance. Will cancel Beast Drives. Pisses people off. =) -------------------------------- -- Jump+K -------------------------------- Damage: 9 Total Damage: 9 Beast Damage: 12 Total Beast Damage: 12 Hits: Mid/High Notes: Average jump kick. Same as Jump+P, no risk, and annoying poke. -------------------------------- -- Jump+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 15 Total Beast Damage: 15 Hits: Mid Notes: A very sharp upward kick. Can only hit if opponent is in the air, too. Launches them way high, and they take 1 damage for a ground hit if they don't recover. -------------------------------- -- Jump Fwd+P -------------------------------- Damage: 23 Total Damage: 23 Beast Damage: 33 Total Beast Damage: 33 Hits: Mid Notes: Same move basically everyone has. Brings her hands down and smacks the opponent into the ground. Human form adds an extra 2 damage for ground hit, Beast form adds 3. -------------------------------- -- Jump Fwd+K -------------------------------- Damage: 19 Total Damage: 19 Beast Damage: 25 Total Beast Damage: 25 Hits: Mid Notes: Ditto as Jump Fwd+K. Everyone has this. Human form does 1 damage for hitting again a wall, Beast does 7. Also, you can control which direction you do do this in; left or right. By the way, this is a drop kick just so you know. LOL -------------------------------- -- Jump Fwd+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 19 Total Beast Damage: 19 Hits: Mid Notes: Does a few claw slashes in the air. If hit from above, it does 19 damage, if hit while the opponent is in the air with you, it does 19 damage an knocks them clear into the ground for an extra a damage. If hit from behind, it does 22 damage. -------------------------------- -- (Back turned) P -------------------------------- Damage: 11 Total Damage: 11 Beast Damage: 16 Total Beast Damage: 16 Hits: High Notes: A little round about punch. Nothing special. Quick. -------------------------------- -- (Back turned) K -------------------------------- Damage: 21 Total Damage: 21 Beast Damage: 36 Total Beast Damage: 36 Hits: High Notes: A nice roundhouse, but has a little delay time A good one for a quick strike. -------------------------------- -- (Back turned) B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 35 Total Beast Damage: 35 Hits: Mid Notes: Pushes backward with her feet and blows the opponent to the floor. The best, probably. ---------------------- ------- THROWS ------- ---------------------- -------------------------------- -- Fwd+Throw (Human form, facing opponent's front) -------------------------------- Damage: 35 Total Damage: 35 Beast Damage: N/A Total Beast Damage: N/A Hits: None Notes: Shina picks up the opponent and nails them with a Brain Buster. Painful. Does 3 damage upon impact of the ground. -------------------------------- -- Fwd+Throw (Human form, facing opponent's back) -------------------------------- Damage: 40 Total Damage: 40 Beast Damage: N/A Total Beast Damage: N/A Hits: None Notes: Shina picks up the opponent from behind and freaking chucks him/her backwards. Damn that's gotta hurt. No impact damage. -------------------------------- -- Fwd+Throw (Human, opponent is crouching) -------------------------------- Damage: 34, 3 Total Damage: 37 Beast Damage: N/A Total Beast Damage: N/A Hits: None Notes: Shina runs down their back, grabs them with a frankensteiner type move, and nails them on the ground. Her coolest looking throw. -------------------------------- -- Fwd+Throw (Beast form, facing opponent's front) -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 15, 4, 4, 6, 22 Total Beast Damage: 51 Hits: None Notes: Shina grabs the opponent's neck with her jaws and throws them around a bit. Then she chucks the opponent flat into the ground. -------------------------------- -- Fwd+Throw (Beast form, facing opponent's back) -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 56 Total Beast Damage: 56 Hits: None Notes: Exact same as Human Shina's. -------------------------------- -- Fwd+Throw (Beast form, opponent is crouching) -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 47, 4 Total Beast Damage: 51 Hits: None Notes: Exact same as Human Shina's. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 7. Full Fledged Moves (Non-Combo Moves) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Yes, despite the fact this is a 3D game and all the "moves" are combos, it's still got the classic hadouken type stuff in it. Note: All moves can be linked from a combo that can link into a move. -------------------------------- -- QCF+P -------------------------------- Damage: 17 Total Damage: 17 Beast Damage: 24 Total Beast Damage: 24 Hits: Mid/High Notes: A little dash toward the opponent, and a swift uppercut with a streak of purple effects. Fast. -------------------------------- -- QCB+P -------------------------------- Damage: 32 Total Damage: 32 Beast Damage: 45 Total Beast Damage: 45 Hits: Mid Notes: Gado's old move. Shina flashes and unleashes a terrible punch, doing very good damage and making the opponent into a human airplane. Shina cannot charge the move like Gado can. Human form does 9 damage for wall collision. Beast mode does 13 with 1 for hitting the ground. -------------------------------- -- Fwd Bk+P -------------------------------- Damage: 9, 22, 4, 4, 4, 4 Total Damage: 57 Beast Damage: 6, 30, 6, 6, 6, 6 Total Beast Damage: 60 Hits: None Notes: Shina glows green and looks as if she's ready to counter. She is. If hid at mid with a kick (only mid, and only a kick) she will grab the opponent's leg, kick them in the groin, and get him/her on the ground in a leg breaker type move. Looks very painful. =D -------------------------------- -- QCB+K -------------------------------- Damage: 4, 4, 4, 4, 16 Total Damage: 32 Beast Damage: 6, 5, 5, 5, 21 Total Beast Damage: 42 Hits: Mid, Mid, Mid/Low, Mid, Mid, High Notes: Shina goes wild and crazy and kicks the crap out of the opponent while glowing green. One of my favorite moves, albiet not a very useful one. Bad startup, and okay end lag. -------------------------------- -- Bk Fwd+K -------------------------------- Damage: 16 Total Damage: 16 Beast Damage: 26 Total Beast Damage: 26 Hits: Mid Notes: Shina totally unleashes an unpredictable push kick that blows the enemy away. It says it registers 3 hits, but it happens so fast, I can't see all the damage values. LOL -------------------------------- -- Fwd Bk+K -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: N/A Total Beast Damage: N/A Hits: None Notes: A fake of her DwnBk+K alternate attack. Useful if you can use it correctly, but I haven't been able to play any mind tricks with it yet. -------------------------------- -- QCF+K -------------------------------- Damage: 9, 18 Total Damage: 27 Beast Damage: 13, 25 Total Beast Damage: 38 Hits: Mid Notes: First of all, this is an anti-air, so those of you who are like WTF ALL SHE DOES IS JUMP, she catches you in the air with her legs and does a frankesteiner-type smash to the ground. Second of all, this move is more than what it seems... -- Links To: QCB+K Damage: 10, 25 Total Damage: 35 Beast Damage: 13, 35 Total Beast Damage: 48 Hits: Mid, Mid Notes: When the big jump from the QCF+K lands on the ground, you can do this. A Frankensteiner. The direction the QCB goes in depends on what direction you were facing when you did the QCF+K. It doesn't matter if you landed on the opposite side. Dwn Up+K, Bk Fwd+B Damage: 17, N/A Total Damage: 17 Beast Damage: 24, 10 Total Beast Damage: 34 Hits: Mid, Mid Notes: When the big jump from the QCF+K lands on the ground, you can do this. It only connect if you jump clear over the opponent though. In the first combination, Dwn Up+K will make Shina jump flip back where she was, but she'll scratch the opponent's head on her way back, doing most of the damage. When you land again, do the Bk Fwd+B and you'll headbutt the opponent into the ground. Don't worry if you regular Shina, the Bk Fwd+B will instantly turn her into a beast and the whole thing will connect. -------------------------------- -- HCF (Or HCB) Up+P -------------------------------- Damage: 15, 25 Total Damage: 40 Beast Damage: 15, 25 Total Beast Damage: 40 Hits: None Notes: This is one of Shina's most interesting attacks. Alone, it's a regular throw. It may be hard to pull off at first, but you'll get the hang of it. just do a 360 on your controller and you'll do it. The most interesting part about this move is that it will link into a secret beast drive! -- Links To: B P B B K K Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: TOO FAST MAN O_O;; Total Beast Damage: 105 Hits: Mid, Mid, Mid, High/Mid, Mid, Mid, Mid Notes: Shina hops up and SLAMS you to the ground, then does a barrage of her regular moves to you. Very brutal, but almost not worth it because of its complicated usage. Some people deny the fact that this move is here because it's extremely hard to pull off. It's very simple once you get the timing down, though. You must perform the B P B B K K quickly RIGHT after Shina throws the opponent. I mean, right as you see them flying into the air. It's not too hard after you get it. -------------------------------- -- QCF QCF+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: 14, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 8, 13, 13, 17 Total Beast Damage: 98 Hits: Mid Notes: Risky move, and somewhat not worth it. Although it looks very.... painful. =) Unlike most Beast Drives, this is a counter move. Shina will flash with a forcefield type thing, and if hit low or mid, she will counter and slash the crap out of the opponent. If whiffed, Shina will turn back to a human and slash the opponent for 27 damage, with 2 damage for hitting the wall. In Hyper Beast the slash does 55 damage, 16 for hitting the wall, and 1 for the floor. -------------------------------- -- QCB QCB+B -------------------------------- Damage: N/A Total Damage: N/A Beast Damage: Goes by too fast. o_o Total Beast Damage: 108 Hits: Mid Notes: Shina slashes the opponent 3 times, the third launching the opponent, she jumps up, chucks you to the ground, turns human and makes a big slash over your body. Awesome looking. In Hyper Beast mode is does an extra 2 damage! WOOOAH! ---------------------------------------------------------------- 8. Shina's Ending ---------------------------------------------------------------- Shina is praised and congratulated at a local pub where all the folk are laughing and partying. Even Chronos is in on the fun. Shina finally leaves out back, and she meets up with Chronos. Chronos says to Shina that she's extremely strong, and that she should help him solve the mystery of the Zoanthropes. Shina humbly refuses, saying she just wants to move on. She passes Chronos, and Chronos doesn't say a word. He understands Shina and watches her with a smile as she walks off to her new life. Corny? I think yes. :) ---------------------------------------------------------------- 9. Finally, the Credits ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is the list of all the people who have helped, knowingly and unknowingly, make this FAQ as complete as I can make it. Deeshad - For making a very complete Bloody Roar 2 FAQ that I could swipe Shina's past storyline from. :) Siegfried's Fighter Mania - For a double source of Shina's storyline. EBX - For reserving Bloody Roar: Primal Fury for me when there was only one copy left. StarRain66 - For telling me about her command throw and more things about her Fwd+K combo. Bakuryu the Mole - For informing me of the Beast Drive performed after the command throw. Thank ya'll for reading. Have a good day now. =D
