Introductions ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ===================== 1.1 Version History ===================== November 16, 2005 Version 1.0 Started the FAQ and completed it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. The Basics ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ===================== 2.1 How to Play ===================== The point of this game is to complete rows of the same cookies until there are no more cookies left. The game consists of 6 cookies which are hearts, flowers, diamonds, checks, circles, and Yoshi. Yoshi's cookie appears when you complete one of the cookie bars located on the bottom right. Yoshi cookies act as every cookie so as you are completing rows of cookies, you can replace any cookie with a Yoshi cookie. To complete rows of cookies, you either combo them or chain them. The game gives you a couple of seconds when the stage starts to at least finish some rows. After those seconds are up, new cookies will appear vertically and horizontally. Whenever you complete a row, the new cookies that are coming will be destroyed along with it. If you still don't understand, then look at the chart below. O = Blocks that are getting completed AAWZA WXAXX A XZXZX W OOOOO O AZAZW A AYAYA A In addition, the other remaining new cookies that are coming will get pushed back one panel for each completion. Chains ---------- There are two ways to chain in this game. The first way is when you perform a combo and blocks fall to perform another combo. The second way is when you perform more than one combo simultaneously. Every time you perform a chain, you will double the amount of points you would normally get. So if you make chains, then you would get POINTS x 2, then POINTS x 4, then POINTS x 8, and so on. Combos ----------- Combos are performed when you complete a row. The more cookies in the combo, the more points you will get. 2-cookie row - 10 points 3-cookie row - 20 points 4-cookie row - 40 points 5-cookie row - 80 points 6-cookie row - 160 points 7-cookie row - 320 points ===================== Controls ===================== --------------------------- | _________________ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |_________________| | | | | _ | | _| |_ _ | | |_ _| _ |A| | | |_| |B| - | | - | | | | ___ ___ | | |___| |___| | | | |__________________________/ D-Pad - Moves cursor around D-Pad + A - Rotates cookies A - Enables you to rotate cookies B - Speeds up new cookies Start - Pauses A + B + Start + Select - Reset ===================== Overview ===================== Title Screen ------------ There will be a selection from 1P or VS Mode. Endings ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you don't want to spoil yourself, then you shouldn't read on. Since this is a puzzle game, there barely isn't anything to spoil at all. ===================== 4.1 Cut-Scenes ===================== After completing the whole round, they show a mini cut-scene. Round 1 - Mario runs and catches the cookie. Round 2 - Mario grabs the cookie and rolls along with it. Round 3 - Mario chases the rolling cookie, but then the cookie grows and chases Mario. Round 4 - Mario chases the rolling cookie, but the cookie crashes into a wall and the cookie crashes into Mario. Round 5 - Mario chases the cookie but Yoshi eats it. The cookie is now an angel and flies off. Round 10 - Mario and Yoshi both run towards the middle to catch the cookie. They catch him and Mario puts up a peace sign, Yoshi sticks up both of his hands, and the cookie smiles. ===================== 4.2 Ending ===================== The ending starts from the cut-scene of round 10. After that cut-scene, it will say All Star Cast showing Mario characters and cookies. The character and cookies shown are Mario, Yoshi, Princess Toadstool, Bowser, Cursor (The cursor you use in the game), Heart, Flower, Diamond, Check, Circle, and Yoshi's Cookie. After they show the credits and the titles of each credit are Music, Character Design, Program, Director, Special Thanks, and Producer. After that they show Mario and Yoshi waving with the word END at the top. If you press the A button right now, it will go back to the title screen. If you wait for about 30 seconds after the ending it will tell you how to play rounds 11-99. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5.
