World 1: Forest ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Area 1: Go right and blow up bush block to get a Bomb Up. Defeat the enemy to the right of it, then go back left and jump on the ledge. Jump on top of the gate, and bomb the gate top to open it below. Go into the now open area and bomb the bush block to get Speed Up. Jump back up the ledges and get back atop the gate again, and wait for the enemy to the left move left, giving you space to go on its platform. Bomb that enemy, then jump to the platform wit the locked door and bomb the enemy near it. Jump through the gap between the 2 ledges above you and bomb the upper-left bush block to get a Fire Up. Bomb the enemy on the right ledge, then bomb the bush block in the ground to get a Heart! Finally, go back left and down to the lower ledge and exit through the door to the right. Area 2: Jump up and place a bomb in the air to defeat the enemy on the left ledge. Bomb the bush block in the air to get a Bomb Up, then jump up the smaller ledges above you until you reach a platform with a bush block on the left side of it. Bomb that bush to get another Bomb Up. Next, jump to a tiny ledge to the right and jump through the "teeter-totter" thingy and land on the right ledge. Put a bomb on the ledge and jump to the left ledge before it explodes to defeat an enemy. Jump up from ledge to ledge to the ledge at the top with an enemy ON it. Bomb it, then drop into the gap you just came through and hold right so you don't hit the enemy on the way down! Land on the ledge to the right of the enemy and bomb it. (You might lose a Heart if you're not careful.) After that, jump back up to the top platform and bomb the bush block in the ground to get Full Fire. Go right and drop down the ledges until you see a bush block on the edge of a platform. Bomb it to get an Armored Jacket! Drop down the gap and bomb the top of the gate below. Then, drop down the left side of the gate and defeat the enemy at the bottom of the ledges. Go left and up the ledges that look like stairs and jump through the teeter-totter again. Go up the left ledges and then jump up again and go right to the exit door. Area 3: Go left and jump up the ledges, then bomb the bush block at the top in the air to get Speed Up. Go right and place a bomb on the gate top to open it and defeat a nearby enemy. Next, go right some more and place 2 bombs; 1 atop the gate and the other to the right of the bush block to defeat an enemy and open another gate! Continue right, jump over the teeter-totter, then bomb the bush block in the air to get a Penetration Bomb. Bomb the top of the gate, then bomb another bush block in the air to get Fire Up. Next, drop down the pit below you, go left, and defeat the enemy. Head left and jump up to the higher left platform, then jump over the enemy and defeat it from behind! Go left some more and jump up the ledges to reach another enemy. Place a bomb near it to kill then bomb the bush block to get a Remote Controller. Then, backtrack to the right and jump to the ledge next to the enemy surrounded by bush blocks. Bomb the left bush, then jump to where it was and bomb the enemy. Now, go right and down to the door and exit the level! Area 4: Go left and go up the ledges to the top. Place a bomb in the air between the 2 bush blocks in the air to destroy them and get a Bomb Up and an Armored Jacket! Bomb the top of the gate to the right, then drop into the gap it opened. Defeat the enemy at the bottom and bomb the 2 nearby bush blocks to get another Bomb Up and a Penetration Bomb. Next, jump up and land on top of the right platform that the laser comes out of and jump up again and bomb the enemy walking across the upper platform. Walk across that platform after you defeat it and continue right. Jump atop the right ledge and bomb the enemy and the 2 tops of gates. Go to the right wall and drop down gap there. Go left and down to a platform with an enemy. Bomb it, then jump up to the LEFT ledges and bomb the gate top you missed before. Go right and down again, then go left and bomb the bush block in the ceiling. Then, drop to the very bottom level. Place a bomb where you land and jump on IT and onto the upper-left ledge across from the enemy. Place a bomb on the side where the enemy is, then drop down the pit you came up through to defeat it! Next, jump to the middle platform and go right. Jump onto the upper ledge, and then up to another ledge ad enter the door at the end. Boss: The easiest way to defeat it is to try and hit it ONCE. Then, get to the center of the room as quickly as possible. Place a bomb on the platform near the edge on the right side of the middle platform so it hits him by the time he comes back to attack. Repeat that process while avoiding his energy balls and killer moths to defeat it. It takes only five hits to defeat this boss! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ b. World 2: Ocean ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Area 1: Immediately walk to the right and destroy the seaweed at the end of the tunnel. There's a fish inside the little alcove. Kill that, and return to the beginning of the level. There a Full Fire icon inside the seaweed on top of the second platform. Get that, and kill the clam to your right. There's also a Penetrate Bomb under the seaweed. There's no need to destroy the icicle or seaweed above the clam, so just continue climbing up the left of the level. At a certain point, you'll notice there's something dumping large amounts of water to the ground. You can use this stream like the Wings item. The seaweed in the top left corner contains a very useful Remote Control. You'll need to use a bomb to be able to jump high enough to get it, though. Once you're done with that, continue along the top of the level to the right. Bomb the seaweed (make sure you take cover in the tiny hole in the ground!) and continue to the right. Watch out for the clam. If you aren't careful, you might end up walking right into him. Kill him (take cover in the second hole in the ground, or walk far enough away and detonate) and keep going. Take out the L shaped line of seaweed beside the water dropping machine. There's a fish enemy to the left. Kill him and the Exit door will open. Go back the way you came (through the L shaped seaweed) and continue along the top of the level. Drop a bomb at the corner of the level and detonate it to reveal the way to the Exit. Area 2: The seaweed to your right contains a Fire upgrade. Take it if you don't still have the full fire from the previous level. Before you can advance, you'll need to kill the fish that's floating around above you. You'll also notice 3 packs of seaweed to the left. The bottom piece has a Time item. Use that to stop the fish and toast him. There's also a Bomb item above the Time item. Don't forget, there's a Remote Control in the top left corner of the map. Once the fish is being served as sushi, drop back to the start of the level and walk to the right. Kill the fish that's to the left of the water machine, then drop back down to the ground floor and continue to the right. You'll see a clam jumping around above you, as well as 3 seaweed blocks. The middle one contains a Time item. Use the Time item to stop the clam so you can kill him easily. Go up onto the platform where the clam was and walk to the left. There's another fish floating around the end of the platform. Kill that climb to the top of the level. There are two moving platforms to your left. Use these to cross the gap. There's a clam in the gap to the left. Kill that, and the Exit door opens. Go back across the gap using the platforms. The door is to the right of the moving platforms, near the top area of the level. Area 3: The clam above you won't fall down any of the gaps in the floor. So, you need to go up to him. Kill him, it's easy. The first patch of seaweed from the left is a Bomb item. The second is a Fire item, and the third is another Remote Control. Grab them if you need them, and walk back to the left of the level. Use the water machine to propel yourself up to the next platform. The seaweed on the platform contains a Wing item. You need to use it to reach the next platform and kill the clam that inhabits it. After killing the clam, keep flying up the level. There's a fish at the top, as well as a very important seaweed cluster. Kill the fish, and get the Heart item from the seaweed cluster. There are two fish left. The first one you should kill is in the cave at the right of the level, at the very top. Once you kill that, return and go up the other cave. Near the top, you'll have to kill a fish. Once you kill it, the Exit door (conveniently placed right above you) will open. Area 4: Your first order of business is to kill the clam you see above you. The seaweed cluster also contains a Bomb item. Above that platform there are a few seaweed clusters and a fish for you to kill. Some of the items are: Fire, Speed, and Wings [very important]. Fly to the top of the level and fly to the other end of the level. Slightly down, there's a fish for you to kill. Go back along the passage at the top of the level and go down into the first pit you see. There's an Invulnerability item in the seaweed beside the icicle. Follow the path around and kill the clam hiding behind the seaweed. Keep following the path around and kill the fish to open the Exit door. Again, the Exit door is right near you. What a convenience! Boss: For the first part of the fight, he'll just run around the top of the level. After being hit, he'll either shoot two rounds of sparks (similar to Boss 1), or shoot one round of sparks, and shoot some bubbles to the ground. Those are the only real threats to speak of. Use the right side to place bombs, it's more wide open. After being hit, (NAME) will usually float to the left, then to the right. Time your bombs if you don't have a Remote. You should place a few bombs on the right side after you hit him incase he does float to the right first. After a few hits, he'll start floating around the level. He's not usually fast, but do be careful if you have a large bomb fire. Another trick he'll use is to release two spark balls that will circle the perimeter of the level. Stay off the ground when this happens. Near death, he'll start to shoot the sparks from random places in the level. This guy can be tricky when he gets into the later stages of his health, especially if you have full fire upgrades. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ c. World 3: Wind ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Before I begin, I'd like to re-state that if you see this FAQ on any site other than GameFAQs.com, it has been stolen. Since most thieves and plagiarists don't bother actually READING the FAQ, I figure I'd drop in a line or two in the walkthrough. Remember kids: Crime doesn't pay! E-mail me at e-long(at)rogers(dot)com (use appropriate signs, since thieves also search for common E-mail characters to change). Area 1: Quite a simple level. To start, blow up the rock at the top left of your screen and get the Time item. With the enemies frozen, quickly jump to the platform above you and kill the enemy that's running around. The other rock near the start is a Remote Control (Yes!). With the first enemy dead, drop back to ground level and walk all the way to the right of the level. The rock above the platforms leading to the tornado machine has another Time item. Grab that and jump past the tornado machine. Kill the little black bug above the machine, and destroy the rock blocking the entrance to the first room you went into. There's a Fire item inside the rock in the bottom corner. Take that, and step on the tornado machine in the room. After a short trip, you'll be in the upper part of the level. Continue to scale up the left side of the level. There's a Time item in a rock that's acting as ground a short ways up the side. Grab it and continue scaling up the side until you find the frozen enemy. Kill him and start your decent back down the side. I'm sure you saw the door as you were climbing up the side of the level. It's in the next cave to your right. Well, the enemy is in the cave BESIDE the cave with the Exit. However, near the entrance to the cave with the Exit door, there's a rock with a Time item in it. Grab that and run to the right, falling down the hole. From here, run all the way to the right and destroy the rock that's blocking the tornado machine that's shooting up and into the cave with the last enemy. Then ride the tornado up, and then ride the second tornado up again. You'll see two paths you can take. The right path has a rock near the entrance. Guess what this rock contains? A Time item. Grab that and scale the other path to kill the final enemy. Now you can make your way to the Exit door with a nice Remote Control for the next level! Area 2: First order of business: destroy the rock above you and get the Wings item contained within it. There's one of those flying enemies in the room above you. How about testing your flying skills and killing it? Then drop back to where you began and run to the right. There's a black floating enemy above the little raygun contraption. You can either go get him, or wait until he floats past the deadly rays. There's a safer way past the ray shooter, by the way. There's a passage to the right of it. Completely safe. Anyway.. There are two rocks floating in the air above the raygun machine. One has a Heart, the other has a Bomb. Get them both, obviously, and fly up the stairs to the left. There are two more rocks floating in the air above the new raygun machine. One has a Remote Control, in case you lost your other one. Continue to fly up and to the right, past the third ray machine. There is a fourth ray machine blocking a lower room. Inside the room is the next enemy, one of the blue flyers. After disposing of him, fly back out of the room, and continue upwards. At the top of the level, you'll instantly see a floating black enemy. Kill him. The rock above the Exit door contains a Heart item, in case you've lost your other one. Now all you need to do is fly to the left, and kill the blue flyer enemy in the small room. No sweat. Now majestically fly your way to the Exit door. Area 3: The rock on your left has ANOTHER Remote Control, in case you lost your other one. So, go the only way you can: to the right! You'll see a roadblock of two rocks. There's actually a flying blue enemy behind the rocks. There's also a Time item in the top rock. So, take that and kill the flyer with ease. There's also another Bomb item in the bottom rock. Don't forget that. Jump up onto the platform above you, and walk all the way to the right. Catch a tornado upward, which will trigger another flying blue enemy. Dispose of this one carefully. The rock above you contains a Full Fire item, and the rock on your right contains a Speed Up item. Ride the other tornado up some more, and destroy the rock blocking your path on the left. By now, I'm sure you've spotted the floating black ball enemy. So, kill him. In the rock floating in the room he was in, there's a Time item. The rock being used as ground has nothing. But take the Time item to stop the clock for a bit. Go back up through the two rocks that you destroyed in order to access the room, and continue to your left. Keep walking to the left until you get to the first gap after the teeter-totter. There's a floaty black ball enemy floating around somewhere here. His default starting position is actually under the teeter-totter, but since his movement is random, he could be anywhere close to it. Anyway, go back to the top of the level once he's dead, and continue walking to the left. Soon (pretty much right away) you'll be in a room with a flying blue enemy. Carefully take this guy out: he can be somewhat tricky. Further to the left there are two rocks blocking an entrance to the final room. The left rock has a Time item. So after the raygun machine stops shooting, grab the Time item and drop down the pit. You'll find the final frozen enemy down here. Kill him, and the door (which is right above you) will open, revealing the way to Area 4. We're almost done World 3! Area 4: Acting quickly, plant a bomb under the first rock on your right, then get the hell out of that area and up onto a platform. When the first enemy comes into the fire radius, detonate the bomb. Now go and destroy the rock beside the rock you just destroyed. It has a Bomb item, in case you need another bomb. Now go back to the left and jump on the platforms. Destroy the three rocks blocking the top room, and jump. This'll activate a floaty enemy. Place a bomb and detonate it when he comes in the fire radius. Two down, four to go. Using a bomb as a stair, climb up to the platform above where the floaty enemy just died. The rock that ISN'T blocking the exit contains a Fire item, if you need it. Destroy the rock blocking the exit and jump up. Plant a bomb under where the rock was, and get beside the tornado machine. Once beside the machine, jump up to activate a flying blue enemy. He'll fly into the left wall, and proceed down. Once he's near the bomb you placed, detonate it. Brilliant. Continue scaling up this side of the level and you'll see three rocks in the corner. Destroy all three. Only the very top left rock has an item, however. But it's a good item: a Heart. Grab it and continue to the right, past the Exit door, until you see a floaty enemy. Fall down the pit, while placing a bomb that can kill him. When he's in the fire radius, detonate. The second last enemy is below you, and is a flying blue guy. He should be stuck flying up and down, in an infinite loop. If he is, just place a bomb anywhere near him to kill him. The final enemy is a floaty that is located to the right of the second last enemy, in a room blocked off by a rock. Destroy the rock and kill the floaty. The Exit door is now open, so what are you waiting for? Boss: This guy is nasty. He'll fly around the level, totally ignoring the laws that state a solid cannot pass through another solid. And to make it worse, he'll randomly throw you a bone. Literally. And this isn't some sort of cheap, store bought bone either. This is the real thing, probably taken from his own body. Most of the time, he'll actually aim it at YOU, like the black hearted fiend he is. As he flies around (and flies fast, I mind you), he'll occasionally stop and do that old four-diagonal-sparks-of-doom-that- every-single-boss-has-the-ability-to-do attack. Amazingly, though, this guy is actually one of the easiest bosses you've faced yet. It's pretty easy to predict where he's going to move, and the bones disintegrate (not enough calcium apparently) the instant they hit ANY surface. This battle is a TON easier if you still have the Remote Control upgrade. So instead of trying to fit more over-used, non-funny jokes about this guy, I'm just going to let this paragraph end. Right now. Oh wait, I forgot. The bones he throws will be thrown in whichever direction he's facing at the moment. Now I'll end the paragraph. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ d. World 4: Cloud ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Area 1: You'll start with a springy enemy jumping towards you at a faster-than-you'd-like pace. Especially if you have a max fire radius, I suggest placing that bomb as soon as you can. (On a side note: doesn't Bomberman look happy riding that cloud in the splash screen?). Anyway, all silliness aside... the objects that hold items in this World are little clouds with happy faces on them. The first one directly above you contains a Bomb item. Once you get that, use a bomb as elevation to get yourself onto the platform above you. All the clouds here contain items, and the best of them being a Time item in the leftern most cloud. So grab that, and continue up the side of the level. Kill the lightning enemy (who is unaffected by the Time item) before he can zap you, and continue even further up the level. There'll be a parachuting bomb above you. He's a tad tricky to kill, but I have (limited) faith in you. There's a blue -- er -- object that's actually a spring above you. Use that to spring up and to the right. Destroy the two clouds to your right and you'll get -- Absolutely nothing! (!!) So anyway, keep climbing up the side of the level and you'll soon find some more item clouds. There are three, and two of them contain Fire items. By now, you've seen the two parachuting bombs near the Exit door. Well, you'll have to kill them now. Again, be careful how you do this. The blast radius on your bombs are pretty big now, and I know you'd hate to flambé Bomberman. With the two bombs dead, continue to the right, past the Exit door. Oh fun, it's another spring enemy! Dispose of him with extreme prejudice, and destroy the item clouds beneath you. You'll need to drop down to the rotating platforms. When you get there, you'll see the final enemy: another springy annoyance. Good thing he's stuck in that tiny room. Kill him with even more prejudice and run your butt to the Exit door. Area 2: This is a pretty big level, so let's make this simple. Run all the way to the right of the level and destroy the cloud in the corner. Now destroy the parachuting bomb on the platform above you. Jump up and into the very tiny passage with clouds around it. With any luck, the springy enemy jumped and is now stuck. So you'll need to place a bomb directly over it's head, and not one tile more to the right. If you have a full fire radius, unless the bomb is over his head... well --- ahem. Let's just say, poor Bomberman. So once he's dead, feel free to destroy the clouds. Only the cloud on the far right has an item, Full Fire. Walk to your left to the rotating platforms, and drop back down to ground level. Now scale your way up and to the left (using the "IN" rocket) and kill the lightning enemy. Continue to the left and kill the springy enemy. Take note, there's a Remote Control in the third cloud from the left, as well as a bomb in the second cloud from the left. Above where the spring enemy was there will be a parachuter. Kill him as well. Continue scaling up the side slowly, and you'll eventually activate the final spring enemy. All you have to do is kill him and walk to the right a bit, and you'll see the door. Bust down the cloud, and waltz right in. Area 3: The dark blue cloud that is above you when you start can actually extend, making itself impassable. If you were observant, you would've noticed this same thing in the first Area. In any case, you can destroy the two clouds above you if you wish. Then go all the way to the right end of the level and use the spring contraption to elevate yourself up and onto the platform above you. Watch yourself, there's a spring enemy that will be triggered. Chances are he's jumping right at you. Walk up and to the left and you'll see a lightning enemy, as well as a stuck spring enemy. Kill the lightning guy first, then the trapped spring. Jump up to the rotating platforms and to the right. Quickly place a bomb in the passageway and detonate it to kill the parachuter. Use the spring to propel yourself up the side of the level. The cloud in the top corner of the level contains a heart. I suggest you get this. Then travel due west to the Exit door area. There are two parachuters in this area. I'll let you decide the best way to deal with them. Anywho, the last enemy is a spring, and he's down in a pit on the left side of the level, past the Exit door. It's dangerous dropping down to say hello, so I hope you still have that heart. Once he's dead, make the short commute to the Exit door. Area 4: Destroy the three clouds near you right away. The most important one is the final cloud, which contains Wings! Time to fly. So, with the newly acquired wings, fly up to where you've seen the first spring enemy and dispose of him. Fly all the way to the left, and another spring enemy will fall into your lap. Kill him, as well as the parachuter who resides in the left passageway leading up. Once the parachuter is dead, climb up the newly cleared passageway. There's another parachuter above the exit. Kill him and drop down the right-most pit, hugging the side. There's a spring enemy to your immediate right, as well as a lightning enemy. Kill both of them and continue along the pathway to the right. There's a heart in the cloud that resides in the corner of this area. Take that and, using a bomb for leverage, get yourself up into the rotating platform area. The final enemy is a parachuter that's located right beside the Exit door. As always, use common sense and timing to dispose of him. Take the door to the Boss, we're almost done with the Clouds! Boss: He's big! He's ugly! He's... a spider?! Let me ask you a question, and answer honestly. When you think of clouds, do you usually think of large, ugly spiders? With only SIX legs? I'd like to know what the hell Hudsonsoft was thinking... All that stuff aside, this boss will just float around the stage, as usual, shooting out the usual four-spark diagonal attack, as well as occasionally giving birth to two smaller spiders, who'll crawl around the outside of the level. Exciting?! You bet! In fact, this guy tends to not just float around, but actually take mad dashes in your direction! Now that I think about it, not only is Papa Spider very athletic in the sport of dashing, but so are the Baby Spiders. In addition to the two baby spiders, Papa Spider also has a tendency to shoot out two webs that'll stay in one spot, and eventually disappear (after four or so seconds). With all this dashing, giving birth, and web-slinging (Copyright Marvel Comics), this could be the most fast paced boss battle yet. Know what makes it even tougher? If you have a full Fire radius. As with most other boss battles, all the upgrades you'll find here are a Fire, Bomb, and Speed Up. This guy takes seven hits to take down. I wish you luck. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ e. World 5: Evil ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Area 1: Here it is, the Evil world. There's a snake trapped to your left. Don't free him yet. Instead, bomb the pot on the ledge above you. It has a Bomb item. After you get the Bomb item, then destroy the pot, which will release the... er.. snake-bat-thing. Kill that. Climb up the ledges to your left and you'll soon find another snake-bat hybrid. There are two pots above where you should be. The left contains Fire, and right is an Invulnerable item. To the right are some enemies that are a pain to kill. They take two bomb hits to kill. Once awoken, they'll fly in a diamond shape. Kill both of them. If, by a horrible twist of fate, you fall into that spiraling vortex, you'll need to mash the A and B buttons to get yourself out alive. With the two bone-bats dead, continue to the right. You'll find two snakes on two different platforms surrounded by lots of pots. If you have the time, destroy all the pots for some items. The last snake is in a tiny cove. The only way to safely release him is to destroy the pot in the bottom of the cove. Once he falls down, kill him. You'll also notice a pot above a spring. The pot contains a Heart item, which is a real bonus. Once you've collected the Heart, make your way to the Exit. Area 2: You'll start out stuck under a bunch of pots, and a couple burners. In case you haven't already figured it out, the burners are activated and deactivated by being hit with a bomb. However, the blast must hit the sides for it to work. But forget about that for now. Walk ALL the way to the other end of the level and destroy the pot. It contains a Speed upgrade. By now, you've probably activated a flyer enemy who will fly near the spring in the ground. Observe his flight pattern, and kill him. Once he's dead, walk back to where the level began. Climb up the platforms and to the left of the Bomberman Slot Machine. There's another flyer, along with a few pots. The pot in the top corner contains Clogs, so don't bother getting them. However, the pot in the tiny alcove contains a Time item, perfect for killing a certain flyer in the area. Now go back to the platforms below the Slot machine, but this time walk to the right of it. Drop down the first pit. There's a snake at the bottom. Kill it and go up the other side of the pit. Deactivate the burner by setting off a bomb beside it. There's a Time item above the burner, and a vortex to the right. Grab the Time item and jump to the right, being careful not to get sucked into the vortex. Remember seeing the snake in the pit when you were near the spring, killing the first flyer? Well, killing him would be a dandy idea. You'll need to jump off a live bomb in order to get out of the pit. Now you'll have to cross the vortex and kill the snake on the other side. To do this, you'll need to get stuck in the vortex. While mashing the A and B buttons, hold down right on the D-pad. This will make Bomberman jump out on the right side of the vortex. The pot above the snake is just a measly Speed up item. Don't waste your time with it. Now there are two enemies left. One is a snake that resides on top of the Slot machine, and that's the one you'll want to take out next. You can only reach it from the platforms on the left side of the Machine. Once you've killed the snake on the Slot Machine, go back to where the level began. Now you can finally kill that snake. Once you do, jump over the burners and destroy the pot blocking the door. If you have the time, you can destroy some of the pots in this area. Some of them hold some good items. Area 3: Oh boy, what a neat looking level! Anyway, to start, get the Penetration and Fire items from the two pots on your left. There are three stacks of pots. Destroy the middle stack of three first. There's a Full Fire item at the top. Then, take out the right most, and the snake that resides above the pots. Then go back and destroy the pots in the first stack. There's a single Fire item in the stack. Destroy the pots going left and right, then take the left path and kill the snake. Jump on top of the platform and deactivate both burners you see. There will also be a flying enemy that sits above both burners. You'll need to kill him also. There's also a pot on the right side of the burners, floating by it's lonesome self. It contains an extra Bomb for you. There will be a small cave to the left of the burners. Destroy the pots in the cave. After destroying all the pots, you'll need to jump off a bomb to access the higher part of the level. Use the spring to get the elevation to destroy the pots above it. Destroy all the pots in the path. There are a couple Bomb items along the way. Once you emerge from the cave, there will be a flying enemy above you. Dispose of him and continue to climb up the level. Don't destroy the lone pot you see beside the big pit: it reveals a deadly spike. There's a flyer above the giant pit that's a particular pain to kill. It's best to stand on top of the pot and place the bombs above the slightly raised platform to the right of the pot. Time it right, and the flyer will soon be dead. One enemy left. Jump across the pits, but fall into the pit with the vortex in it. You'll see the snake below you. Drop down and kill him. The best way to get back to the Exit door is to destroy the pots below you, and travel down the passage. Then jump across the pits below the Slot Machine. Then just make your way to the Exit door. Drop down the pit and get ready for Evil level 4. Area 4: Walk all the way to the right and climb the platforms up. A flyer enemy will be triggered. Kill him, and go back to where you began the level. You'll notice another flyer enemy will be moving. Kill him also. The pots contain useful items. Once both flyers are dead, make your way up the platforms. In about the middle of the level, there will be a snake that is trapped between two columns of pots. This guy is an easy kill, so don't take too long to kill him. There's also a flyer that will be triggered. Kill him too. Now, a tough task. There's a snake on your right. He's stuck in a two tile pit. You'll need to drop down, drop a bomb beside him, and get out before the snake, or the bomb, kills you. So, uh, yea. Good luck with that. Once the snake is dead, destroy the pot in the air above the pit where the snake once was. It contains a much-needed Heart item. Jump on top of the platform where the trapped snake was (the snake that was trapped between the pots), and climb up more platforms. If you jump around the platforms a bit, you'll trigger another flying enemy. The last flying enemy of the level. Kill him without killing yourself and the Exit door will open. To get to the exit, go to the very left of the level, and jump off a bomb on the left side of the Slot Machine. Jump across the Slot Machine and you'll find the door .... in between two active burners. Best of all, if you destroy the pots, they'll reveal a lovely spike in its place. So, you'll have to try and drop into the Exit door. Hurry up and end this madness! Just don't get burned. Boss: Behold! It's a teleporting boss! Of course, by teleporting around the level, this makes this boss at least 75% luck based. He's a tough one too, taking 9 hits to kill. After he teleports to a new position, he'll float in that spot and attack by tossing two large sparks that bounce around the room. He'll also do the conventional four-diagonal spark attack. The pots above you contain Bomb and Fire items. The pot on the right side of the level contains a Speed up item. You'll probably need all of these, especially if you end up having to continue with one bomb and one upgrade. You should have more than one bomb, so I suggest you use all of them to create a wider blast radius to hit the boss. As previously stated, this boss teleports around the screen at random times, and appears at even more random places. This battle does require a TON of luck to beat. Even to this date, I have yet to beat this boss. I hope you have more luck than I do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ f. Jump Game: Easy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Section 1: The first item you should get is the Remote Control, which is almost directly above where you start out. Jump onto the platform in between the dog and the other enemy. Place a bomb beside them in the small gap and detonate it, killing them both. You'll now want to focus on getting all the power-ups before you go against the boss. So, with the Remote in hand, get yourself the first two items above where the Dog enemy was. They'll be a Fire and Bomb items. Above the Bomb item, there's a Time stop item. Get this, and kill the stopped boss. Once he's dead, destroy the enemy generator to your left, as well as any enemies he might of generated. The item block below the generator is a Heart item. Once you get that, proceed to the next section. Section 2: Start off by destroying the first enemy generator with two quick hits. The item beside it is another Time item. Grab that and quickly climb the level and kill the boss while he isn't moving. With him out of the picture, destroy the other enemy generator. There's an Invulnerability item directly under the generator. Use this to make the job easier. There are two items left in this section: a Fire item, and a Bomb item. Get both of these and proceed to the next section. Section 3: Quickly destroy the two enemies directly above you. The item box contains another Bomb item. Grab that if you wish, and continue up the level. You'll soon see another enemy generator. Quickly destroy that before it spits out any enemies. The item box on the left contains another Time item. The box on the right contains a Fire item. Get the Fire item first, then get the Time item. Same drill applies, kill the boss while he's frozen. There's nothing else to do here, so proceed to the last section. Section 4: There's another Fire item and Bomb item directly above the entrance, as well as a Time item in a tiny cove. Get all three of these items and kill as many enemies as you can while the Time item is still in effect. Hopefully you can kill the coffin, bat, and generator before the Time item wears off. There is a Heart item in the first box at the left of the level. Get it only if you need it. If you still have a Heart upgrade, save it in case you get hit. Kill the final boss, and jump your way into the Exit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ g. Jump Game: Normal ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Section 1: You'll immediately see three item boxes when you start. Get the leftern most first [Fire], then the box on the far right [Heart], Then get the middle box [Time]. While the enemies are frozen, kill the generator and dog enemies. There are three more item boxes above where the dog was. The middle contains a Bomb item, the left contains a Remote Control, and the right box contains nothing. After you've gotten the Remote Control, kill the boss and the snake and proceed to Section 2. Section 2: Kill the generator immediatelyy, and don't worry if you destroyed the Fire item beside it. To the left is an item box that contains a Penetration bomb upgrade. Grab that, and then destroy the two boxes in the middle of the level. You'll get a Heart from the bottom box. Grab the Bomb item from the box below the second generator. Then, kill the generator (obviously). The box above the generator has a Time item. Use that to kill the boss easily. Proceed to Section 3. Section 3: Again, there are two very stupid enemies above the entrance. Kill both of them so they don't get in your way, then destroy both item boxes hugging the right wall. The top is a Fire item. There's also a Bomb item slightly above the bottom platform. Grab that and climb up the level. You'll see a generator that you should destroy. With all the Fire upgrades you have, you should be able to nail the boss from a safe jumping distance. The box in the top left corner is an Invulnerability item. Get that and continue to the next section. (Note: The other box contains a Time item. You can use this if you feel it is necessary, or you are running out of time). Section 4: Destroy the coffin enemy first, and be careful about the blast. There's a Bomb item and a Fire item in the two boxes you see first. Quickly destroy the generator. The box above the generator and to the left contains a Heart. If you are still invincible, you can use the platform the generator is on to boost yourself up and get it. Otherwise, destroy the generator and move to the other side of the level. Kill the bat and get the Invincibility item contained in the box. While you are invincible, you'll have absolutely no problem killing the boss and reaching the Exit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ h. Jump Game: Hard ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Section 1: You should probably get the Fire item first. You can find it in the only item box on the screen at startup. Next, you'll need to kill the generator. This can be tricky. To get the height needed, you'll need to jump off the platform under the generator, place a bomb beside the generator, and fall to safety. You need to do this twice. Once that's done, kill the snake in the pot, as well as the face enemy that was probably generated by the generator. Once they are all dead, jump onto the empty pot that the snake once inhabited. Bomb the dog above you. From your spot on the platform, you can place bombs that will hit the boss when timed right. So, get to it! Once the boss it dead, collect the Remote Control from the box in the top right corner, as well as the Bomb item from the box to your left. With that done, you'll need to get to the next section. However, Bomberman doesn't have enough jumping experience to jump high enough by himself. Instead, you'll need to place a bomb in the middle of the giant gap. You'll need to jump off the bomb to make it to the next section. Remember to detonate it once you're safe. Section 2: On the platform above you, there's an enemy generator. There are also a few blocks above that platform, which you will use as a guide. To avoid destroying the box beside the generator, you'll need to drop the bombs on the same tile as the first gap in the small platforms above the generator platform. Phew, sound confusing? Well, it's not so bad. Anyway, once the generator is destroyed, you can collect the Heart from the item box beside it. There's another box preventing you access from the next part of the level. It contains a Time item. While the enemies are still frozen, quickly destroy the generator, and the face enemy it has probably generated. To kill the boss, you'll need to jump from the platform the generator was on, and place a bomb at the highest point you can. When the boss gets into the blast range, detonate. Repeat. When this Batman wanna-be is dead, get ready and enter the next section. Section 3: Kill the generator before it can make any enemies, then kill the weird potion enemy. Forgetting about the item boxes for a second, destroy the other enemy, the one that emits electricity. With all the enemies dead, you can collect the Fire and Heart items from the two boxes adjacent to each other, near the entrance. Climb up the level, and dispose of the easiest boss to date. It's impossible for this guy to hit you from the platform you'll be jumping off. The only way you'll die is if you foolishly detonate a bomb and flambé yourself. Again, you'll need to jump off a planted bomb to get the height needed to reach the next section. Don't forget to detonate the bomb when you're in the next section, kids! Section 4: Get rid of the bat and coffin enemies, and pick up the Fire item to your right. Then, pick up the Bomb item to your left. Dispose of the generator next, and be careful you don't accidentally jump into the enemy it generates. Not much else to do, except kill the boss, who is again floating at a very safe distance away from you. In fact, unless you like your Bomberman extra well done, there's absolutely no challenge in this final boss. For a supposed 'Hard' Jump Game, this final section is ridiculously simple. Kind of disappointing. Anyway, once he's dead, you'll need to jump off two bombs to make it to the Exit. Just like a bomb staircase! _________________________________________ ................./¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯\.................. `) 5.
