Anyways, this game, unlike its four gameboy predecessors, has ALL NEW robots [in IV, for example, it was a combination of four robots from Mega Man 4 (Toad Man, Bright Man, Pharaoh Man, Ring Man) and four from Mega Man 5 (Charge Man, Stone Man, Crystal Man, Napalm Man)]. This means that Gravity Man won't ever make his Gameboy premiere ='(. He had been inactive for a long time, and nobody knew where he was. One day, a meteor crashed to the earth. From it sprouted 9 robots that call themselves the 'Stardroids.' They are too powerful for your Mega Buster, and you are taken captive. He has also taken Dr. Light. You have to get the Mega Hand from Dr. Light, and use it to attempt to destroy these Stardroids. Their version: This is taken from the game. In the year 20XX, the world is at peace thanks to Megaman. Dr. Wily's fourth attempt at world domination has failed, and his name faded from the minds of the citizens of the world. A few months later... [asteroid crashes to the Earth. Rock and Roll are on a walk, and a robot appears in front of them.] So you are the famous Megaman! I am Terra – and you will soon be my slave! [Rock pushes Roll back, and turns in to Megaman. He blasts Terra with his Mega Buster to no effect. Terra blasts him with his laser Spark Chaser, and knocks Mega out.] What? My Mega Buster has no effect on him... A few hours later, the world was attacked by warrior robots from space. [Mega Man wakes up]. Where am I? Dr. Light found Megaman and equipped him with the new "Mega Arm," the most powerful weapon ever devised. Why have the stardroids come here!? [Megaman shoots his Mega Arm]. [] = My narrative. -=2.03: Boss Order=- MERCURY -> Use Mega Arm -> Go to Neptune. NEPTUNE -> Use Mega Arm -> Go to Mars MARS -> Use Salt Water -> Go to Venus VENUS -> Use Photon Missile -> Go to Dark Moon DARK MOON -> Use Mega Arm -> Go to Pluto PLUTO -> Use Grab Buster -> Go to Uranus URANUS -> Use Break Dash -> Go to Jupiter JUPITER -> Use Bubble Bomb -> Go to Saturn SATURN -> Use Electric Shock -> Go to Death Skull -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=III. Walkthrough=- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Remember: Charge your weapon up, and take your time. This is integral to your success in this game. Visit the Light Lab often to pick up new items. -=3.01: Mercury=- Well, I'll have to use dashes, because Colin told me not to do asterisk. Mercury is the one that the icon is already on. -Make sure you don't jump to high and jump in to spikes. -When you fall down the first large hole, hold left to run in to a P-Chip supply. -You'll soon reach a point in the stage where you must wait until the floor is down, and then run to the next indention in the ceiling. Otherwise, you'll be crushed. -If you opt to try to get the energy tank, then be careful. When you slide under the spikes, press right when you get to almost under the next spike. MERCURY At the start, shoot him. He'll turn in to a ball and then: - Bounce across the room in three balls, and the reform at the end - Roll across the floor in three balls, and then roll back up. Keep repeating this strategy until you beat Mercury. For this you grab Grab Buster. -=3.02: Neptune=- Neptune is located on the far right. -Watch out when you destroy the dragonflies. They explode when you destroy them. -Watch out for the steam NEPTUNE Again, use the Mega Arm. Hit him, and then slide under him when he jumps. Watch out for the Salt Water that he throws. He also will jump and cause it from the ceiling. This battle is simple. -=3.03: Mars=- Mars is on the far left. -The rockets explode when you destroy them. -To destroy the giant robot, jump up on the platforms, and shoot the Mega Arm at its head. Three charged hits will do it. -Hold right when you make the large fall to get a large P-Chip MARS Use Salt Water for this fight. Jump over his shots, and shoot it at him. You can hit him at any time, unless he is dashing across the room. When he does this, jump over him. Now you get Photon Missile. -=3.04: Venus=- Venus is the only remaining one. -Watch out for the bubble creatures that come from the ceiling. The only ones that will attack you are a lighter shade than the rest. -Eliminate the bats that have fans quickly -Wait until the waterfall stops before jumping -Take out the crabs quickly -Get used to the bubbles. VENUS Use Photon Missiles. This battle is hard. Get used to Venus' jumping patterns, and try to predict when Venus will jump. Shoot the Photon Missile after Venus jumps. Watch out for the Bubble Bombs, though. For this you get the Bubble Bombs! Booyah! You also get Rush Coil! -=3.05: Dark Moon=- Now the picture is of Terra. Select his stage, but first go to Light's lab and pick some things up. Mega Man WALKS through the level, so there's nothing to do. You'll see Terra. He'll talk to you, and then sic Dark Moon on you. DARK MOON He may be called Dark Moon, but most of us know him as the Rock Monster. Jump/Slide over/under his particles as they come across the room. Use Mega Arm on its eye. The cool part is that this battle is VERY familiar if you ever played Mega Man 3. The Mega Arm (which you're using) looks like the Hard Knuckles, which you used on him in 3. Cool! Unlike Mega Man 3, however, this is easy! He'll be gone in no time. I just discovered something about Dark Moon. In Super Adventure Rockman (PSX/ Saturn), a version of the Rock Monster revives the bosses of Megaman 2 and 3. This guy is called Dark Moon. Go here: http://www.mmhp.net/GameHints/SuperA.html and look at the second picture down. That is Dark Moon! For THIS you get...a new set of four bosses to beat. -=3.06: Pluto=- This guy is the one that looks like a dog o_O;;. He's in the bottom-left corner. Note: You WILL be coming back to this stage. -The platforms near the large energy capsule and the p-chip will start to fall when you walk under them. -Watch out for falling platforms and exploding enemies. -Proto Man makes his appearance in this level. He gives you an S Capsule, but you use it instantly. PLUTO Use Grab Buster. Hit him while jumping over his fireball attacks. Jump over his first dash, and slide under where you think he'll be dashing next. Dodge the homing missiles. Repeat. For this you get the Break Dash. -=3.07: Uranus=- He's in the bottom right corner. -In the room with the first seal, use Rush Coil to get up on to the ledge. Use Break Dash to destroy the barriers, and get an energy tank. -When you get to the third seal, do the same process to get a Jewel. URANUS Use Break Dash on him whenever you get a chance. Watch out for the blocks he throws. Also he'll make the lair cave in on one side from time to time. Be careful of that as well. With Break Dash, it'll only take about three hits. You get Deep Digger. Now go back to Pluto. Go through to the first mini- boss. After him, you'll come to a part with two ladders. Use Deep Digger to open up the third one. Climb down there to get a jewel. -=3.08: Jupiter=- He is on the top left. -This stage has low gravity. -Watch out for the ice parts. -When you have a choice to go up a ladder or right, go up. Now go back down. You'll find that there is now a hole. Drop down it. When you have another choice, go left. Here is the jewel. JUPITER Use Bubble Bomb. When he is over you, shoot it at him. Watch out for his vertical electric current and swoops. This is easy...kinda. For this you get Electric Shock. -=3.09: Saturn=- He's the one on the top right. -This stage has varying gravities. If it is less than 1, you'll go higher than usual; likewise, if it is more than 1, you'll go lower. -When you get to a point where there is a large gap with a large P-Chip at the other side, use Rush Coil to get across. Here you'll find the jewel. SATURN Use Electric Shock. This battle is hard. He'll throw a ring over you, and then slide to get it. Jump over this. Now he does an attack which, to my knowledge, is unavoidable: he freezes time, and shoots at you in a counter- clockwise motion. Now he repeats. During this time, you should be hitting him. For this, you get Black Hole. Booyah! You also get Rush Jet! Go to Light's lab. From the item selection screen, press right. This will show you a power generator that you get for getting all four crystals. -=3.10: Terra=- Yes, this is the guy that hurt you in the beginning. He is in the middle. You just fight him in this level. TERRA Use the Mega Arm. He'll always use Spark Chaser. Dodge this and be shooting at him. Don't worry when he disappears- he'll be right back. He goes down easily. Now a star rises. Mega notices that it is not a star. It is Skull Spaceship! So Wily really IS behind this! -=3.11: Death Skull=- For the record, I named this after the Death Star, not the Death Egg from sonic. Level 1: This is an autoscrolling stage. You are using Rush Spaceship. Dodge the asteroids, while attacking the enemies. At the end, dodge the big lasers. They go in the following order: Top, bottom, top, bottom, center. SKULL CANNON When it opens its mouth, shoot at it. Make sure to not shoot until after the blast. If you go upwards, missiles shoot you. If you go down, you are shot at with regular guns. He'll be gone soon, and you fly in. Level 2: -When you get to the large pits of spikes, use Rush Jet. -SHORTCUT ALERT: Before you climb down the first ladder, jump across the pit. Use Deep Digger to get rid of the first set of blocks, and Break Dash for the second. This allows you to skip a great deal. ENKER This is the guy who was Wily's right-hand bot in Mega Man I. Use the Mega Arm. Jump/Slide over/under him when he comes, and jump over his attacks. When he has his sword raised, attack him. He'll be gone shortly. QUINT The guy from Mega Man II. He looks like Mega Man. Use Mega Arm on HIM, not his jackhammer. He is gone in no time. If he lands near you (no matter where he lands, but it is only a threat if near you), he'll shoot rocks out. -At this point (later on), you can decide to either use Break Dash to the right, or Deep Digger down. Go right. PUNC Yes, the bot from Mega Man III. If you didn't see THIS coming...you haven't played Mega Man III. Anyways, his attack pattern is simple. He'll either spin over to the other side high or low. If it is high, slide; if it is low, jump. Then he'll jump up and down throwing discs. Continue attacking him until he is gone. Attack him with Mega Arm. Well, with all logic, we can assume that the next boss is Ballade. BALLADE What'd I tell ya? Anyways, this guy is from *gasp* Mega Man IV. He'll run around, stopping occasionally to shoot out Ballade Cracker. Jump over him and his weapon, and fire Mega Arm at him. Now for the part that just has to happen in EVERY MEGA MAN GAME EVER MADE. Level 4: -Collect everything. These are freebies. -Now Protoman comes to your rescue again. DR. WILY ROBOT: HANDS There are two of these. The second is a bit more aggressive. How so? After you hit it, it releases a missile. If you jump, it'll catch you and hurt you. Anyways, just avoid the attacks, and shoot the eyes with Mega Arm when you seem them. Also you only face one at a time. DR. WILY ROBOT: MAIN It'll start out by throwing three missiles. Dodge. Now it'll throw out another robot that will make you float. As you float, destroy it. Now it'll throw out a time bomb. Shoot the time bomb, and try to make it be at zero when it touches the side of the robot. This will damage him. Now it repeats. Repeat until he is finished. Note: if you get hit by a time bomb, it'll explode, and you'll have to do the process again. A funny thing I found out is that if you are really close to the machine, and the time bomb hits you, it damages you both. DR. WILY ROBOT: MAIN HEAD Hit him with the Spark Chaser, and jump over his attacks. Make sure not to jump too high. Now he *gasp* flees! Follow him. He'll talk to you, and then release the ultimate doomsday weapon: Sunstar! It'll shoot Wily, and then turn to you... SUNSTAR This is the final battle, so any spare energy tanks you have... Anyways, he does this in several floors. You'll know when you beat each floor: he shoots fire out, and burns away the platform, dropping you to the next floor. First floor: He'll shoot some things on the ground. When they stop, they fly vertically. When he rolls up in to a ball, get on the far end. Jump to avoid the beam, land, and quickly jump over Sunstar. Repeat this, and watch out for the flame. Second Floor: He shoots out fireballs, then the sparkly things that look like Grab Buster, and then jumps across. Slide under him when he jumps high. Keep this up. Third Floor: He'll roll up in to a ball, and go around the room once. He'll end up on the opposite side he was on. Now he jumps in the air. YOU MUST HIT HIM IN THE AIR BEFORE HE ATTACKS. Otherwise, he does a move that looks remarkable like Rain Flush (MM IV, 4), which burns away the floor. Keep this up until he is gone. Now sit back, and enjoy the ending! -=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=IV. Bubble Bomb (VE) Got From: Venus Description: You shoot out a bubble that goes in a wavy pattern vertically. Rush Coil (RC) Got From: Venus Description: Summons Rush to give you a boost. Grab Attack: It pulls your enemy, and allows you to attack it multiple times. -=4.05: Jewels=- Pluto: Go through to the first mini-boss. After him, you'll come to a part with two ladders. Use Deep Digger to open up the third one. Climb down there to get a jewel. Uranus: When you get to the third seal, use Rush Coil to get up on the ledge. Use Break Dash to break through the wall to get a Jewel. Jupiter: When you have a choice to go up a ladder or right, go up. Now go back down. You'll find that there is now a hole. Drop down it. When you have another choice, go left. Here is the jewel. Saturn: When you get to a point where there is a large gap with a large P- Chip at the other side, use Rush Coil to get across.
