After writing one for Mega Man Dr. Wily's Revenge along with Mega Man II figure I'd attempt to continue with the Game Boy Mega Man games. As it stands at this point that I want to do one for the five Mega Man games released on the Game Boy. Over time I hope to try to write one for a good chunk of the Mega Man games that came out over the years. Walkthrough [MMIII 3] =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter One: Snake Man [MMIII 3.1] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Big Snakey Bubukan MK-II Dada Hammer Joe Ladder Press Petit Snakey Potton Starting off the stage as we go about making our way forward. As we do we'll be coming across a Petit Snakey and after we get past that one we'll have to deal with a Dada. As these are the only enemies we'll be coming across until we reach a ladder to head downward. When we do we'll have a Hammer Joe down there waiting for us. Dispose of it to head to the other ladder to the next section. Once we get down there we'll have to deal with a Big Snakey that's like a Petit Snakey. Only difference is that we'll have it's tail that'll be moving up and down trying to make it difficult for us to hit it. Aim for the head and once we do enough hits it'll be time to move forward. Making our way through as we'll have Petit Snakey to deal with and so far in we'll have to start jumping over some pits. When we get close we'll have a Potton do dispose of before reaching the end and down a ladder. Watch out for the Hammer Joe that'll be there when we do and dispose of it. Once you do head over to the ladder on the bottom left. When we do we'll have another Big Snakey to deal with and it'll be like the last time we dealt with one. Using the same strategy from last time as it shouldn't be much to take it down to continue onward. As we do we'll have a few Bubukan MK-II and watch out as they'll make a jump over you while leaving part of them in front of you. After about the third one or so we'll come to ladder to head upward. Once we get there as we'll have Eddie coming at us to give us an item that we can use. Although you can go down the ladder to see what item he gives then go up and down the ladder until you can get a different item if he does so. Once you take whatever he gave you head to the other ladder and up it to the next section. As we go further to where we'll have to slide to get to where we have to go but as we do there'll be a couple or so Petit Snakey to deal with before heading up the ladder. We'll be jumping over a pit to a platform but there'll be a Patton that'll be coming towards you in some way. Once we can get to the platform as we'll have Pattons and Bubukan MK-II until we see a ladder. Jump to get to the ladder and head upward. In the next section we'll have a couple of Pattons, as we want to dispose of them then up the ladder to get to the other ladder. When we do there'll be a Hammer Joe to dispose of before heading to the next ladder. Heading up the ladder as there'll be a Patton coming in. There's another ladder but there's a Ladder Press on it as it can make it difficult to try reaching the E-Tank that we see. If you want to grab it you'll need the Ladder Press to be at the bottom of the ladde they're on as you want to jump over from a high level on the ladder you're on. When you do head to the top then jump to grab the E-Tank. Do the same to get back over. As we get back on the main ladder head upward to the next section. When we do we'll have a couple of Patton to deal with. As we go further as we'll have to jump our way across while watching out for Patton and Dada until we manage to get all the way across. The moment we get all the way across here it'll be time to head through the boss gate to prepare to fight against Snake Man. o----------------------------------------------o | Boss Information | |----------------------------------------------| | Boss: | Snake Man | HP: | 19 | DWN: 22 | | Weakness: | Spark Shock | | Weapon Get: | Search Snake | | Item Get: | Rush Coil | | Attack(s): | Contact | | | Search Snake | o----------------------------------------------o Going against Snake Man should be rather similiar to his counterpart in Mega Man 3 on the NES. He'll run from one side to the other jumping but when he jumps high enough he'll be sending out snakes in your directipn. You can attempt to shot and dispose of them while hitting him in the process if you're able to. When you can get a chance go for a charged shot to fire at him as normal shots will do when he fires Search Snake at you to dispose of them. His pattern isn't difficult to know as it'll the same thing as he'll be down in no time. When we take him down we'll get his special weapon Search Snake along with the Rush Coil. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Two: Gemini Man [MMIII 3.2] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Bomber Pepe Mechakkero Penpen Maker Penpen Pickelman Dada Pole Yambow Onward to the second stage in the game to tackle. As we make our way through as we'll have a Yanbow that'll be coming in from above and when it gets low enough dispose of it. Not long after that we'll have a Bomber Pepe to deal with before having to get over the first pit of the stage but without another Yanbow that'll be coming in before doing so. After getting over the pit we'll have another Yanbow to deal with along with another Bomber Pepe before coming to another pitfall. Once again we'll have a Yanbow that'll come down before we get across the pit. After that pit we'll have another pit to cross but watch for another Yanbow that'll be coming down eventually. There'll be at least another Yanbow or two along with a Bomber Pepe before heading down a hole. When we do we'll have a Pickeman Dada that we'll have to dispose with before heading to the other side to drop down in the other hole. When we do we'll have to slide at a point and a Yanbow will come down as we want to dispose of it. We'll have a couple spikes to get over to reach the next platform. During that time we'll have Yanbow coming down to deal with. We'll get to a point whwere we have to slide but have to be careful not to slide to where we land on the spikes. At this point we'll still be dealing with just Yanbow. As we get to where we don't have to worry about spikes anymore as we want to head up over the top part of the platform then down. There'll be a Bomber Pepe before we're able to drop down another hole. When we do we'll have a Mechakkero and a Yanbow to deal with before heading to the next hole to drop down. As we get to the next area we have what look like frog eggs but as we shoot at them as we'll get a Pole coming at us. Each one we fire at we'll have to do two normal shots or fire a charged shot to dispose of that row at once. We'll have a few that we see in front of us as we can dispose of them before we can slide to get over where they were. Making our way where we have more to deal with as we'll want to focus on the bottom two rows to continue onward. The next we'll want to clear a path with the second to last row along with the first row. The third row from the bottom deal with the first two as we can then slide to the other side. We'll have more to deal with on the other side of the spikes as we want to dispose only the ones closest to the ground as the top ones we can ignore those. Once over there we'll eventually have to dispose more that are over a set of spikes as we want to dispose up to the third row up a bit past where we have to jump so we can get across safely. As we do there'll be some more do deal with but only do with the bottom three rows so we can clear a path to the ladder to head up it. Head up the ladder as we'll have a couple Mechakkero to deal with before making it to the next ladder. Once up the ladder there'll be more Pole to deal with and clear a way to slide under. After we do that we'll have another Yanbow that'll make it's way here. Head far enough as we'll have a Penpen Maker as it'll be spewing out Penpen at us as we want to aim for the crank of it. As we make our way after disposing of it as we'll have to jump up to a high platform and slide but without a Yanbow or two. After dispoing of them continue forward as there may be another one that comes in. Also watch out for another Penpen Maker that we'll have ahead of us. Make your way to the end as there'll be a couple Yanbow that'll try coming in as we can easly avoid them by sliding to the hole in front of us to the next section. As we do there'll be a few Pole to dispose of before making it further. Slide under to get to the next section as we'll have a Mechakkero at the start of it as we dispose of it. Jump over the spikes to the next platform. We'll have to be jumping from one platform to another over spikes here mostly as we'll have Yanbow to deal with the most along with a Mechakkero or so. When we reach the end as we'll reach the boss gate and prepare to face against Gemini Man. o-----------------------------------------------o | Boss Information | |-----------------------------------------------| | Boss: | Gemini Man | HP: | 19 | DWN: 19 | | Weakness: | Search Snake | | Weapon Get: | Gemini Laser | | Item Get: | ---- | | Attack(s): | Contact | | | Contact [Clone] | | | Shot | | | Gemini Laser | o-----------------------------------------------o Similar to his counterpart in Mega Man 3 on the NES Gemini Man will bring out a clone as it'll be double the trouple in fighting him. During this part of the fight there'll be just shots being fired at you. At least until one of them is disposed off as it'll be the Gemini Laser that'll be brought out. We'll have to watch out for both attacks when either happens and if he is close enough to make contact with you. For the fight it's best to bring out the Search Snake to use against him as it shouldn't take long before the clone is out of the fight. After the clone is out it shouldn't be many more hits with the Search Snake before Gemini Man goes down for the count. As he does we'll get his spceial weapon Gemini Laser. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Three: Shadow Man [MMIII 3.3] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Count Bomb Hologran Mechakkero Parasyu Pickelman Dada Walking Bomb Yambow As we start the third stage of the game as it's not going to matter which Count Bomb we jump onto as either way when we get the clear we'll drop down for a while. During the time there'll be another Count Bomb and even if we start the time we can excape before it counts down to zero. Once we get all the way down we'll have a Mechakkero to deal with. After we do we'll slide under and after we do we'll have a Pickelman Dada to dispose of before we have to fall to the next area where we'll have a Mechakkero. Once we dispose of it drop down to the next section. Drop down as we'll have to slide as there'll be a Mechakkero before moving on as we'll then have a Hologran that'll come as the background will fade to black. We can dispose of it so the background will go back to normal. As we continue on watch out for the Walking Bomb as we do. For the rest of the way as we'll be dealing with Halograns and Walking Bomb but when we get near the end of it as we'll have a Mechakkero before dropping down a hole. We'll drop down through a couple spots until we'll have to slide. When we do we'll have Yanbo along with Mechakkero as we move forward. As we get to where we'll have to do some serious jumping as there'll be Parasyu that'll be coming down at us. Dispose of them before jumping to deal with another. Once that we get across as we'll have to deal with a Mechkkero then Halogran along with Walking Bomb. We'll eventually come to where we have to slide to advance further. As we do there'll be a Mechakkero that we'll have to deal with. Make your way to a hole to drop down as we'll have another one to drop down through until we come to an end where we have a Pickelman Dada before we can go through the boss gate to prepare to face Shadow Man. o-----------------------------------------------o | Boss Information | |-----------------------------------------------| | Boss: | Shadow Man | HP: | 19 | DWN: 24 | | Weakness: | Gemini Laser | | Weapon Get: | Shadow Blade | | Item Get: | ---- | | Attack(s): | Contact | | | Shadow Blade | | | Slide | o-----------------------------------------------o When going against Shadow Man as his moves are going to be the same as his Mega Man 3 (NES) counterpart. Sliding and jumping to even down to using the Shadow Blade when he's close to you. When he does the Shadow Blade he'll be throwing two of them at you. Using the Mega Buster can be good if you plan on doing charged shots agaisnt him. I recommend using the Gemini Laser as a hit will disappear but if it doesn't it'll bounce until it does or it'll disappear after so long. It'd be best if using Gemini Laser is know when he isn't going to be jumping to hit hit with it. Timing it right in doing so as it shouldn't take too long before taking Shadow Man down for the count and obtianing his special weapon Shadow Blade. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Four: Spark Man [MMIII 3.4] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Count Bomb Elec'n Electric Gabyoall Hammer Joe Junk Block Pickelman Dada Now onward to the fourth stage of the game. From the start we'll have an Electric Gabyoall to deal with as we'll want to wait for when we can jump between them safely without getting hit with the elctricity. There'll be a couple more before we make it to a ladder and head up it. When we do we'll have a Pickelman Dada to deal with before heading up another ladder. After we do we'll have another Electric Gabyoall to get past. Making our way through as we'll have a Junk Block that'll block us as we dispose of it to continue forward. As we do we'll eventually come across a Elec'n that'll come out to attack us. Dispose of it as we continue on as there'll be another Elec'n to deal with before getting to another ladder to climb up. After climbing the ladder we'll have a Hammer Joe to dispose of before heading up another ladder. Once it's down head up the ladder as we'll have a Pickelman Dada to deal with and once we do we can bring out the Rush Coil to grab the E-Tank we see. After getting it we can continue onward. When we do we'll have to jump onto platforms that'll be lifting us up towards the spikes on the ceiling. Watch out for when you jump as we want to time them right to get to the next one and to get across. Before get all the way we'll have an Electric Gabyoall to try to make it past. Jump onto the platform when you can and through when it's safe to get to the next platform. There'll be a Hammer Joe to deal with before coming to a hole to drop down. As we drop down the hole head towards the middle as we'll land on Count Bombs. For the most part there'll be a space big enough to get through as the last one we'll have to try landing on the one on the far right wait for it to be close to explode. Jump to the one in the middle then drop to the right after the one we were on fully explodes. Should be smooth sailing to the bottom from here. Next section we'll have to slide at least couple of times if not just once. Watch out for the spike when sliding for the first time here. As we continue onward as we'll have Junk Blocks to dispose of after they drop if we want to continue. A ways in as we'll have a platform that'll try leading us to a spiked ceiling as we'll use it to get to the next platform. There'll be more Junk Block to deal with along with another pitfall that has a spiked ceiling. Keep going until we come to a hole that we have to go down not far from disposing a Junk Block. Once we drop down as there'll be a Hammer Joe to deal with before making it further. When we drop down again as we'll have Elec'n along with Electric Gabyoall to deal with here. Also watch out for the spiked ceiling as well. There'll be a platform that'll move us upward as we use it to get to the next platform and over another pit or two before coming to another Hammer Joe. Dispose of it and head through the boss gate to prepare to go against Spark Man. o----------------------------------------------o | Boss Information | |----------------------------------------------| | Boss: | Spark Man | HP: | 19 | DWN: 23 | | Weakness: | Shadow Blade | | Weapon Get: | Spark Shock | | Item Get: | ---- | | Attack(s): | Contact | | | Spark Shock | | | Mini Sparks | o----------------------------------------------o Fighting against Spark Man is rather similar to his counterpart in Mega Man 3 (NES). There'll be platforms that he can jump to and after so many jumps he'll send a Spark Shot followed by Mini Sparks so watch out for when he does the Spark Shot. During that time it'll be time to make any kind of hit on him whether from the Mega Buster or from the Shadow Blade. Although I recommend the Shadow Blade as we can shoot it diagonally for when he jumps. By timing it right with the Shadow Blade it shouldn't take too many hits against him to take him down. By the time we defeat him we'll gain his special weapon the Spark Shot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Five: Wily Stage I [MMIII 3.5] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Giant Suzy There isn't much to do in this stage as we'll have to use those blocks that appear to make it to a platform as there'll be three to get onto before reaching a platform. Once we do there'll be at least two of them to jump to before we reach one that can split in two that'll lead to our demise if we don't move fast. Head to the platform that we can reach to as we'll get another that can drop us before heading to a platform that'll disappear if we don't move fast. Also it'll even head up to the ceiling and stick there during the fight so watch out for where it'll be going. Other than those it doesn't have any other moves. Dodging it and bringing out the Spark Shot as we want to hit it when we have the time to get a hit it and shouldn't be too much of a battle before we dispose of it. Once we do head through the other boss gate to head through a teleporter. As we do we'll then have to face off against four Robot Masters from Mega Man 4 (NES). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Six: Dust Man [MMIII 3.6] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Gachappon Jumbig Metall EX (Metall Dance and jumping type) Shield Attacker Up 'n' Down Starting off the stage as we'll have to slide and after we do we'll have a couple Metall EX of the jumping variety. Dispose of them and continue forward as we reach the first pitfall as we'll have to watch out for a Up 'n' Down as we don't want to fall to our doom. There'll be repated ones that'll come up so dipose of them that you can to make it across. As we do we'll run into a Shield Attacker. Only way to dispose of it is when it's going away from you. After we get past that as we'll come to a ladder as we head down as there'll be a Metall EX jumping that'll be there when we do. Head to the other ladder that's in the bottom left corner. Once we head down as we'll have to slide and dispose of the Metall EX before we get to another pitfall with an Up 'n' Down that'll come up from the bottom. After disposing to get in the clear as we get to the next platform and up the ladder as we'll head to where we have to jump over another pitfall. We'll have a Up 'n' Down to deal with before cotinuing onward. After we do as we'll have a Shield Attack to watch out for that'll be coming our way. We'll get to a hole to fall into as we'll have a hole in the middle to head to. Before we do there'll be a Meall EX that we can easily dispose off before we head downward. In the next section we'll have a Metall EX of both variety in this section. Drop down another hole as there'll be a Jumbig as we want to head all the way to the right to safely so we can dispose of it quickly. Once we do we can head to the other end to drop down another hole. Next section we'll have a pitfall that'll have a Up 'n' Down and once we get past that safely we'll have a Jumbig to deal with. Once past that we'll have a ladder at the end to head up. Once up there we'll have a Metall EX of the dancing type to get past but we'll also have to worry about jumping over spikes in the process. Once we get over and past the Metall EX head up another ladder. In the next section we'll have a couple Metall EX as it'll be one of each. Jump towards the closest one and back as it'll open up to come at you as we can take the time to dispose of it. We'll have to make sure not to hit the spikes while reaching the other one to dispose of it then up the ladder. Once up it we'll have a Shield Attacker as we'll have to use the ladder we came up to our advantage as we deal with it. After dealing with it head up the ladder to the next area. Now we have to clear a path with a press that'll be moving up and down as we head through this section. Certain areas in which we have to clear as we have to watch for when it comes down or it'll be an instant death. While we make our way through as there'll be Metall EX of the dance type here so watch out for those as we clear a path through. Some areas may require us to utilize the slide option when clearing a path. As we get near the end as there'll be a ladder we can climb down to the next section but watch out for the Shield Attacker. Make your way to the ladder but watch out when you do as we get down there as there'll be spikes that we have to jump over. The first pit we come to will have an Up 'n' Down as there'l be a Metall EX that'll try attacking us so dispose of it. Also there'll be a Gachappon to deal with as we can do that from afar. There'll be a pitfall that'll have a Up 'n' Down before we make it over more pitfalls safely to another ladder. Head up the ladder as we'll have platforms to jump onto but we'll have a Shield Attacker here. Once we dispose of it as we have to make it through while not landing on the spikes as we do. In the next section we'll have a Gachappen as we want to dispose of that and to the next ladder. Once in the next area we'll have a Shield Attacker. Dispose of it so we can move forward. Move as close to the edge as you can and bring out the Rush Coil to use it to get across then again to gain access to the ladder. Once we get up the ladder there'll be a Metall EX that we can dispose of easy but once again we'll bring out Rush Coil to get up to where it was. After we get past we'll have a Jumbig to get past. As we head on as we'll get to a ladder to head down. Once we do we'll have to keep heading down while the only enemies we'll have are the Metall EX along the way. Head down the ladder as we'll land on a platform as we'll jump over the spikes. Get as far as to the edge as we can and bring out Rush Coil to get over where the Metall EX is and dispose of it. There'll be a Shield Attacker after we slide and dispose of it. We'll have to watch out for when he shoots out the Dust Crusher as well as when it hits the wall as it'll break watching out for the pieces after it does. Also watch out for when he tries sucking you in as we'll have to be moving away as he does. When he tries sucking you in is the only time that we can't do damage to him so we'll have to get him the other times. Also you don't want to fire a charged shot when a Dust Crusher is coming at you as that'll deflect the shot. Jump over those when you can then let the shot go to him. Keep to this as it shouldn't be too much to take him down and get his special weapon Dust Crusher along with Rush Jet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Seven: Skull Man [MMIII 3.7] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Battonton Imorm Shield Attacker Skeleton Joe Skullmet Super Ball Machine Jr. Togehero As we start the stage and not far into it we'll have to deal with a Super Ball Machine Jr. Dipose of it to head onward as we'll have a few more to deal with before we come across a Togehero and a Battonton before coming to a ladder to climb up. Once in the next section we'll have a Skeleton Joe as we can fire a shot at it to make it tumble as we can use that to get past it to head to the next ladder to head upward. When we do there'll be a Battonton hainging on the ceiling. We reach some spikes on the ground as we'll have to jump but dispose of the Battonton near us before we do. We'll have a couple more to deal with before making it across and after we do we'll have a Imorm come down to the ground at us. We'll have to make a couple more jumps but there'll be a Battonton we'll have to deal with before we do . Once across we'll have more Battonton to deal with along with Imorm. Making our way a bit further as a Shield Attacker will come into play before reaching the end and up another ladder. In the next section we'll have Eddie come in to give us an item before we head to the next ladder to head up it. As we do we want to head to the right to continue onward. Getting near the edge as we'll have an Imorm come down and as we have to make across some platforms along with pits as we'll have Togehero to deal with before getting solid grond again. As we do we'll have more Battonton to deal with along with Imorm. We'll come to a ladder as we head up it to an empty room and to the other ladder. Once we reach the top we'll continue onward. For a while we'll have Imorm along with Skullmet to deal with. The Skullmet we can only dispose of them by shooting them where their eye is. After we deal with so many as we'll have a Shield Attack to get past. Near the end as we'll have an Imorm to deal with before heading up a ladder. In the next room we'll have a Skelton Joe that we can do like with the last one knock it down then make it past to the next ladder. When we get to the top as we make our way forward as there'll be Togehero along with Imorm. If you want an easy way to get through bring out the Rush Jet as we'll be dealing with Togehero along the way and a Imorm will drop when near the end. Drop down the hole to continue onward. As we get to the next area we'll have Skeleton Joe to deal with but just knock them down to get past them. Watch out for if you don't knock them down in time for if they throw any bones. When we get to where we'll have to jump from one platform to another get a shot in if you can to take t hem down long enough to get past. Also watch out for the Togehero along the way. There'll be a Togehero and Skeleton Joe as we jump to reach the boss gate to Skull Man. He isn't going to attack until you do and when you do by equipping the Dust Crusher and fire at him. He'll be firing back but when he eqiups the Skull Barrier you aren't going to get any hits on him. You'll have to wait until he isn't shielded again before we can do any damage to him again. When we're able to is when we can start attacking him agian. Watch out for when he does shoot as he'll get a few or so hits in each time that he does. Hitting him just right and avoiding whatever shots you can will help during the fight. Shouldn't take too much while against him before we bring him down all the way and get his special weapon Skull Barrier. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Eight: Dive Man [MMIII 3.8] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Moby Garyoby Gyotot Jumbig M-422A Mantan Metall Swim Sea Mine Getting closer to having all the Robot Masters out of the way as we only have two stages left before we can about any more Wily Stages. From the start of the stage we'll drop down in some water but watch out for the Gyotot as we continue onward. Continue onward as we'll have a few more or so Gyotot before we reach a hole to drop down into. As we do we'll have a Metall Swim to deal with but watch out for when we jump as we have some spikes here. Time your slide to where you can get to the other side to drop down. As we do we'll be dealing with Moby. When we do it'll take a few shots or so before we can fully take it down. Once we do enough damage it'll be time to move onward. As we do jump as high as we can to make it to the next section. When we do there'll be spikes we have to watch out for as we get through the upcoming part. As we do we'l have to watch out for Metall Swim and after we get through there'll be a couple or so M-422A that we have to get past. As in avoiding them as they'll move up and down when we get near them. We'll get to where we have more spikes as there'll be a Metall Swim and a M-422A before reaching a ladder to climb up. In the next area we have have a few spikes on the way to the next ladder as it shouldn't be too hard to get past here to the next ladder. Climbing the ladder as we make our way up as we'll have a Garyoall here near a health capsule if you need to grab it. If not head up the ladder above us. After getting up the ladder above us and continue on as we'll have a Jumbig to deal with not far in that direction. Make your way past it until we reach a hole to drop down and another to drop down. As we do we'll have another Moby to deal with and do what you did with the last one. After making past this one continue on like the last one we defeated. Upon making it past this one we'll jump like the last time and be in an area where we have spikes as we have to watch out for Metall Swim and Mantan. Also watch out for any spikes on the ground and make it to the ladder to the next room. When we do we'll have Eddie coming to us to bring us an item. After that head up the ladder to the next section. As we do watch for the water that'll be coming down mostly where we have spikes at the top of the water. We'll have spikes on the ground in certain areas as well so watch out. During this way we'll have Mantan, M-422A, and Sea Mine throughout this area. When we get to the end of this section we'll have a hole to fall into as we'll want to stay near the right. As we do we'll have to jump from one platform to another and avoid the spikes to get to the next hole. Bringing out the Skull Barrier as we'll have to make sure each hit with the Skull Barrier counts. While it can be tough to know when he'll be doing the Torpedo Spin as it can be rather random when he does it. Watch for what he'll be doing as you want to bring it out when you can even when you jump to avoid as you want to try hitting him then with it to do damage to him. Probably one of the toughest battles we'll have of the Robot Masters as it shouldn't be too much if you know what to expect from him. Once that he goes down we'll get his special weapon Dive Missle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Nine: Drill Man [MMIII 3.9] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Boulder Battonton Count Bomb Hammer Joe Helipon Jumbig Metall EX Pakatto 24 Shield Attacker The second to last stage of the game and as we start the stage as we get to the first pit as we'll have a Shield Attacker so time it right to get over the pit. After we do as we continue onward as we'll have Metall EX and Helipon to deal with until we reach a ladder to climb up. As we do we'll have a couple Helipon in the area as we can dispose of them before heading up the other ladder to the next section. As we get to the next section as we want to continue forward. We'll have a Hammer Joe as we want to dispose of it before we continue on. After we do jump or slide until we see some platforms to jump onto but wait for the spike like go from up and down to the sides as we'll have two of these to get over. After we do we'll have a Hammer Joe not far after getting over to the next platform. As we continue on as there'll be a couple pits to jump over but not without a couple of Shield Attackers and a Battonbon. Head down the hole as there'll be more Battonbon to deal with. Head to the hole to the left as we want to stay to the left. We'll have a couple of platforms that'll drop us after a second or two of being on them and one to the right of the spikes. We'll want to wait for the spikes to be on the sides before getting on the other but we'll want to jump to one then drop to the other. Quickly go to the top. Do this repeatedly until we can get to the other platform safely. Once we do wait for it to go from the sides to up and down and drop down to the next section. When we do we'll run into Eddie as he'll give us an item. Drop down to the next area and as we do we'll see a couple of E-Tanks on one of those platforms as we can time it right to drop down and back up without losing a life. Head back up and head to the one on the left then drop all the way down. We'll have a couple of Metall EX and a Helipon. Dispose of them then continue on to the hole to drop down. Next area we'll have Boulder that'll drop and a Pakatto 24 as it shouldn't be too hard as the boulders can be disposed off without too much hassle. Drop down to the next area. We'll have to watch out for boulders falling and when we get to the Count Bomb jump on the first one then to the top. When it reaches near zero, jump to avoid getting damaged and land on the other to get to solid ground. Take the top path then slide as we'll have a Hammer Joe to deal with before we can keep going forward. To get up where the Hammer Joe was use the Rush Coil to get up to where the Hammer Joe was. Watch out for the boulders that drop before heading down a hole. We'll want to avoid messing with the Hammer Joe and slide to avoid taking damage from the prickle of the platform if they're up and down. We'll have a couple Metall EX to deal with but watch out for the platform we land on. Use them to get back up to where they were if you disposed of them and make your way over the pit. There'll be Boulders that'll drop as we continue forward. We'll have a Jumbig before we reach the boss gate to prepare for the fight agianst Drill Man. When he drills under the ground move aroud so when he comes up you can minimize any damage that you'll be recieving during the process. Equipping the Dive Missle as we can help during the fight against Drill Man. Although when he gets ready to drill into the ground you aren't going to be able to damage him until after he comes back up. Watch out that sometimes he may go back drilling again so be on the look out when he does that. Want to watch what he'll be doing then use the Dive Missile and bring him down. When he goes down we'll get his special weapon Drill Bomb. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Ten: Wily Stage II [MMIII 3.10] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Punk From the start of the stage we have to go through a boss gate and once we do we see Wily but it isn't time to fight him yet. As we try chasing him but we'll have something come up from the ground. We'll want to damage him when he isn't in ball form. After so many Screw Crusher he'll go into Ball Form as we'll have to watch when he does but if he's up high engouh we can slide under him. If not we'll have to jump over him. Each time when he gets to each side outside of the Ball Form is when we want to damage him. Shouldn't be too hard getting his attack pattern down to dispose if him so we can try to go after Wily after we dispose of him. When we defeat him we'll get his Screw Crusher special weapon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chapter Eleven: Wily Stage III [MMIII 3.11] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cast of Enemies --------------- Battonton Boulder Count Bomb Dada Gachappon Garyoby Hammer Joe Hologon Jumbig Junk Block Ladder Press Mechakkero Metall EX Pakatto 24 Parasyu Pickelman Dada Shield Attacker Skelton Joe Skullmet Super Ball Machine Jr. Up 'n' Down Walking Bomb At the start of the stage we'll have a Skelton Joe not far as we'll make a shot to disassemble for a breif moment to get by. As we do and slide under as we'll have a Skullmet to deal with. There'll be another Skeleton Joe before heading down to the next area. When we do we'll have a couple Pakatto 24 to deal with before we head down to the next section. In the next section we have a couple Shield Attacker to dispose of but only worry about the bottom one. After you do head to the hole to the next area and when we do we have a Super Ball Machine Jr. to deal with. Dipose of it before we can go further. Make your way over the spikes to where the Super Ball Machine Jr. was as we'll have to go over more spikes. We'll have an Elec'n come out and coming at us so dispose of it. Once on that platform and after dealing with the Elec'n bring out the Rush Jet to get across but we'll have Parasyu to deal with along the way until we get to a platform. After we do we'll get to where we'll have to slide under spikes and have to keeep sliding even when the Hologon come out. When we go as far as we can we'll have to jump up as there'll be a ladder to climb up. As we do we'll have a couple Walking Bomb to deal with before getting to the next ladder. As we dispose of them and up the next ladder to the next section. Continuing to climb the ladder as we have a Hammer Joe and Ladder Press to deal with as we continue up the ladder. Still climbing the ladder as the next section we'll have a couple Ladder Press to see where they go so we can carefully make our way to the top. In the next part of the ladder climbing there'll be a Skelton Joe as we just hit him to make him fall to continue upward. Next up we'll have a couple Shield Attacker as we continue going up the ladder. Dispose of them and continue on. As we finally reach the top as we'll have an Elec'n come out to attack us as we dispose of it. As we get near a pit as we'll have a Up 'n' Down as we need to get across the pit safely to the next platform. When we do we'll have a Junk Block that'll try and stop us from advancing. As we get past it as we have a few pits with a Up 'n' Down until we can get to where we deal with a Hammer Joe. Dispose of it to advance further. We'll come to a ladder watch out for the Up 'n' Down as we need to be in the clear to get up the ladder. Making our way up it as there'll be a Gachappon. Dispose of it before getting to the next ladder. When we do we'll see spikes but the ceiling will come down so the spikes will go down too. There'll be a Metall EX but the dance type so dispose of it so when the ceiling goes back up we can avoid the spikes but remember where they were when they went down. Need to time it right for this section. Eventually we'll come to where we fall into a hole to make it further. When we do we'll have a couple Mechakkero to deal with before advancing. In the next area we need to be quick to get on the platform to get across over the spikes. As we do we'll fall down through the hole as we'll have a couple Dada to deal with before the next section. Next we have a use of a Count Bomb to help us get to the platform over the spikes and drop down. We have a Walking Bomb in the next section and when we drop down we'll see Eddie to help give us an item. Next area we only have Metall EX to deal with until we get to a ladder and head on down. We have a Gachappon and Metall EX to deal with before heading down the ladder. When we do we'll have a Pickelman Dada and at this point wondering if we'll be seeing every enemy that we've seen in this game in this stage. Exit through as we'll have a couple Skullmet to deal with and drop down on the other side. The next section will have a couple Metall EX to deal with and drop dwon on the other side once again. As we do we'll have an Elec'n to deal with as we continue onward. Not far afterward we'll have a Hammer Joe to deal with and after we dispose of it slide to advance. We'll then have a Gachappon to deal with. Head down the ladder as we'll have a few Metall EX to deal with before going down another ladder. As we do we'll have a Garyoby to deal with before dropping down another hole. There'll be a Pickelman Dada to deal with before going down another hole and once we get to the bottom there'll be a Garyoby. Make your way as we'll have to jump over a pit with spikes at the bottom. There'll be a Jumbig then a Boulder that'll come down. Watch out for when it lands as it does shake the ground as it lands. When it fires missiles watch out for those as we continue going for charged shots when we can.
